Daisuke Shirokaze watched intently at the beautiful blue haired girl walking home from the town's local school. That was his master, Yuki Asuka. As Yuki started to walk back home on a path, Daisuke followed suit, hiding carefully behind bushes, buildings, trees, and other objects that can obscure her view. He did not want Yuki to catch even a glimpse of him because she had a deep hatred for the youkai. Daisuke understood why. He had failed to protect Yuki and her mother from that terrible youkai. Yuki's mother died and Yuki bears a scar on her back from that day. Ever since then, Daisuke simply watched over Yuki, protecting her and watching over his master. It was his hope that it would be enough for Yuki, even if it means she would never meet him again.

Suddenly, Yuki was stopped by a group of three girls that carried bows on their backs. They were known as the Cupids because of their ability to shoot their archery targets with their bows and seeming ability to aim their cupid's arrows at boy's hearts. Daisuke did not understand why this group of girls disturbed Yuki, but he wasn't at all happy that they were bothering his master. The Cupids surrounded Yuki and pushed her around until they got a hold of her own bow. The Cupids seem to have challenged her to a shooting match. Yuki had to shoot the bull’s eye in less tries than the leader of the Cupids: Yumi. They each had five tries and if she lost, they would take her bow. Daisuke knew that bow was special to Yuki. It was inherited from her father who passed away when she was very young. This archery match would not only be important for Yuki's pride but also for her beloved bow.

Yumi stepped up first. Gracefully she pulled back her bow, cherry wooded with golden flowers inlaid on it. Her eyes focused on the bull’s eye and she gauged the wind's speed and direction. Upon release the arrow zoomed fast towards the target, but it did not hit the bull’s eye. Yumi was furious on the inside but calm on the outside. It took four tries for her to hit the bulls-eye. Then it was Yuki's turn. Yuki nervously pulled back her father's old bow and carefully eyed her target.

Don't worry Yuki, you can do this! Daisuke thought to himself.

Yuki then released her bow quickly, but it landed away from the target and towards a nearby tree. The cupids roared in laughter at Yuki's error. Daisuke was angered by their making fun of Yuki. He wanted to use his control over wind to knock them over, but decided against that.

Come on Yuki, focus. You can do it! Daisuke thought.

Yuki pulled back her bow once more and fired. This time she hit the target, but not the bulls-eye. Yuki had to make the last shot. Daisuke then decided Yuki needed a little bit of assistance. As Yuki released the final bow, Daisuke directed the wind to aid her bow to hit the bulls-eye. Score! Yuki then let out a sigh of relief, smiled, and headed her way past the enraged Cupids. Upon seeing Yuki's smile, Daisuke slipped a small smile of his own and quickly switched to his serious face. He then blew a gentle breeze for Yuki to enjoy, as a little celebratory gesture of his.

Yuki Asuka woke up rapidly as she heard the alarm go off for the third time; she was going to be late for school. She took a quick shower, and as soon as she got out she saw herself in the mirror, she starred at the scar on her back letting out a hopeless sigh. It was the scar she had gained when her mother was killed by a youkai in front of her eyes when she was a child, the scar that never healed. For this reason Yuki hated the Youkai with all her heart; she felt alone, angered and sad as she remembered her mother, Yuki grabbed her necklace dearly (the one her mother had given her on her birthday) as she remembered her mother’s sweet smile. For a moment, she was lost in her own thoughts and then remembered she was going to be late for school.

Yuki quickly grabbed her beautiful bow, the only thing she inherited from her father, before she started walking towards the town’s local school where she attended school. She was looking sideways to see if there were any Youkais around to hurt her, as she grabbed her bow protectively. She then noticed the Cupids, the same three girls that were constantly annoying Yuki. They were quite famous in school because they were pretty, and were the best shooters in Archery class 'if you like that sort of thing...' Yuki thought to herself.

They approached Yuki and surrounded her, they pushed her around and were mocking her, “looks who’s here, looking horrible as always, Yuki-chan!” the first girl(Yumi) said holding her hair, while the other girl laughed(Mitsuko). Yuki shook the girls hand, “don’t touch me!” as the third girl(Haruka) laughed along with the other two as she got closer to Yuki and grabbed her bow. Yuki immediately got defensive as she yelled, “give it back!”, Yumi spoke again and told her, “if you don’t want us to take it from you, you have to fight for it, how about a shooting match?”, Yuki thought it was unfair she was not even close as good as the Cupid’s and they knew it, but she had to in order to save her precious bow.

The leader of the Cupid’s, Yumi told her that they would each have five tries, she grabbed her bow gracefully as she focused on the bull’s eye, and she released the arrow. Yuki’s heart felt almost as if it would stop at any second, she hit the target, however failed the bull’s eyes, Yuki smiled pleased, and Yumi kept herself calm, or so it seemed. She repeated the same posture and was able to hit the bull’s-eye at the forth time she released the arrow.

Yuki was shaking and felt as if her legs would give away, but tried to look composed in front of the Cupid’s, she grabbed her bow carefully and aimed for the bull’s-eye, 'focus Yuki, focus!' she yelled on her insides, her hand was shaking. Yuki released the arrow, and did not want to see where the arrow had landed, she heard the girls laugh hysterically; she opened her eyes and saw her arrow nearby a tree, 'how embarrassing' she thought. She grabbed her bow once again, and gave it her best, she opened her eyes once again and noticed the arrow in the targer, however it wasn’t on the bulls-eye. 'Last try' Yuki reminded herself in despair, 'somebody help me, anybody, please!] she cried desperately.

She grabbed hold of her bow again and hoped for the best, her hand touched the beautiful golden flowers that were carved on the bow, she aimed for the bull’s eye again and after she released the arrow, she closed her eyes. She didn’t hear the Cupid’s making any noise, which made Yuki even more anxious, she just listened to the wind blow as she opened her eyes, the arrow was standing exactly where she wanted “Bulls-eye!”. Yuki walked past the angered Cupids that only remained silent, and she could only smile pleased, she somehow knew that someone had heard her and helped her in her time of need. “Thank you” she whispered, only wishing that her savior could only listen. The wind blew once again, almost as if it replied to her calling “you’re welcome”.

Daisuke smiled at the thought that his master thanked him. He hoped that the breeze he gave Yuki would be enough to express "you're welcome" to her. With the threat of Yuki's beloved bow being taken away gone, Daisuke decided it was time to give the master a little bit of space and race through town in his wolf form. His seventeen year old male facade transformed into a white arctic wolf with light green wind symbols on his sides. His fur was a glistening misty white and slightly translucent and his eyes glowed a dark emerald green. Making sure to run in the direction opposite to Yuki, Daisuke took his stance and bulleted through the small Japanese town towards the forest where he resided.

Zooming through town watching all the people, animals, buildings, and events rush along with the glorious feeling of the wind racing behind him like a vortex was one of his best sensations. It was made even better by the fact that barely anyone could see him and those that could only saw a glimpse of a transparent figure. He caught glimpses of different people and different youkai as he rushed through. The town center’s fountain was surrounded by a multitude of animals, mostly cats, and on its top perched the youkai of the violin, stringing a melody that attracted the animals and a young man with a red left eye. Was that her master? Daisuke asked himself. He stopped quickly to enjoy the youkai’s music and then seeing that the young man was in conversation with her, darted away. Again, Daisuke resumed his run through town, feeling his paws pounding faster and faster on the stone laden streets of town. He huffed and huffed as he ran faster and faster, until he decided to stop again at another interesting sight. Another youkai with crimson eyes seemed to stare blankly at a young man with a kendo sword on his back, let out a “hmph” and moved away from him. At first, Daisuke wanted to watch the scene unfold, but then he said to himself that it was getting late and that it wasn’t his place. So he darted once more to the forest. At the forest’s edge just before the town, he saw two scenes unfoled: a young girl with a bat strolling through as a couple of youkai watch on and a child crying and a fox youkai trying to comfort him. He stopped at the sight of the fox youkai’s gesture to observe what would occur. However, the child was oblivious to the act of kindness the youkai offered. Daisuke felt a little sorry for the youkai, understanding the feeling of not being able to be present to others. He thought about Yuki and how even though she was his master, he could not show himself to her, for she hated the youkai and wanted nothing to do with them.

Suddenly, Daisuke heard a blood curdling scream from the distance using his ability to hear sounds from far away.

“Aaaaaahhhh!!! Help Me!!!!”

Yuki!!! Daisuke thought alarmed that his master was in danger. It sounds like it’s coming from one of the alleyways. I better go help her!

Daisuke raced back into town, trying to follow both the scent and the sound of his master. He searched through many alleyways hearing the fear from his master bouncing on the walls. Finally, he saw Yuki backed up to a wall, facing an evil youkai that took the appearance of a tall male with bow and arrow aimed at Yuki. He had sleek blond hair, crimson red eyes, and was clothed in a long black trench coat that was secured by a leather brown belt.

“You are not worthy…You do not deserve the bow that rests on your back…Hand it over to me…”

Yuki looked exhausted, as though she tried to fight but couldn’t anymore.

Don’t give up Yuki! Fight!

As soon as Daisuke got a little nearer, Yuki started emanating a faint blue glow and suddenly she gained spiritual powers that seemed to severely injure the youkai.

“Uggh… still not worthy…but for now…retreat…” the youkai mustered to say before it disappeared.

Daisuke remembered seeing Yuki emanate that same glow back when her mother was getting attacked by her own youkai. It was what protected her from being killed, after Daisuke couldn’t fend off the demon. Daisuke was happy for Yuki that she was able to protect herself from the youkai, but felt regret that he couldn’t do much for her concerning the youkai, not then and not now. He then ran away towards the forest, tired for the day. Night was going to fall soon and the moon would rise up to show its glowing golden face once more, and Daisuke would how his wolf song of the day: the song of regret.

Yuki headed for class, she was already late, “damn Cupids” she thought to herself. She walked in a faster pace as she thought of getting points deducted for being tardy, “ugh” she sigh for a second. Even though the idea of being late for class was enough to spoil Yuki’s mood she felt happy, she felt happy because she had been able to save her precious bow. “No, it wasn’t me…” she remembered for a moment as she let out a careful smile, “someone helped me”. She continued walking as she continued to think of who could have been her savior, but she suddenly stopped frightened, she only heard a faint noise, but that dim noise was enough to make Yuki stay alert of her surroundings. She had listened to the a similar noise before, if that was the case someone was following her.

“It’s nothing” said part of her, while the other said, “Be cautious! You never know when one of those Youkai can appear”, she was conflicted as to what she needed to do, and at the same time the clock on her wrist kept ticking, and she was going to be truly late for her class, she waited to hear even the dimmest of noise but found herself with nothing but far a far chatter from other students. “It doesn’t matter, it must be something else” she thought as she headed once again for her English class.
Yuki was supposed to leave her bow in her archery class, but she was afraid the Cupid’s would try anything weird again, and she felt much safer carrying it around. She entered her classroom carefully hoping not to disturb others; she sat down and noticed something, “the teacher is late too!”. Her teacher arrived shortly after, and Yuki was pleased.

After she finished her first class, she waited for her next class, and so it went on until she her classes were over. “Thank goodness”, today’s classes were simply boring to Yuki. She started walking towards the coffee shop she worked in because she had forgotten some of her things in one of her shifts. She felt frustrated because she was so prompt to forget things, “what a bizarre habit I have” she mumbled to herself.

This time she walked with a much slower pace, and she began thinking of what to cook for dinner. She walked slower and slower until she finally decided to stop because she heard another noise, the same strange noise she had listened before, she did not hesitate for a second and she tightly held onto her bow, once again feeling the beautiful golden flowers that were carved into the bow. Yuki looked sideways discretely, she didn’t want to be seen weirdly by other students passing by, given that they could not see the Youkai, “they don’t even know how lucky they are…”. She couldn’t see anything, but knew a Youkai was following her, she didn’t want anyone to get hurt, so she knew she had to fight the spirit. She was frightened as she headed towards an alley.

As soon as she arrived, the Youkai followed, she was surprised for what had caught her eyes was not the type of youkai she was used to. This youkai had a bow in his hand, he was really tall and he had blonde hair that made his crimson eyes look even redder. His clothing was very fitting of his appearance; a black trench coat that made him look like a murderer on the loose. Yuki held her bow even tighter and tried to point at the youkai, however he moved swiftly and rapidly as he yelled, “I want your bow! Give it to me!” he was at arm’s reach now. His voice sounded as a horrible cough that would simply not go away.
He then tried taking the bow from Yuki’s hand, Yuki struggled with the youkai as she resisted. “somebody help me!” she yelled, the Youkai angered at Yuki punched her delicate pale face. A strand of blood covered Yuki’s damaged face now; she knew what would become of her face, as she thought, “Great! Another ugly bruise to cover up”.
The Youkai spoke once again, “You are not a worthy beholder, you should know better little girl, you do not deserve the bow that rests on your back, only those with true power can be worthy, hand it over to me now!”, he once again tried to grab the bow, and Yuki resisted once more. She was tired and knew she could not continue for long, she then screamed in terror “I can’t do it anymore, help me, someone!” nobody answered to her supplicate, instead the wind blew once again and Yuki felt empowered.

“Don’t give up!”

Her savior encouraged her to keep fighting and that’s what she did, she pushed the Youkai with all of her strength and as she shoved him a beautiful blue light emanated from her hands. The Youkai was in pain, Yuki knew that because she had already experienced something similar; when she was younger, she was able defend herself from her mother’s youkai using the same blue light. The youkai then spoke faintly pausing way more than he needed, “Ugh you are still not worthy, I will not accept this! I won’t give up but for now I must retreat!”
“We did it!” Yuki said in reply to her savior, “you and me” she continued as the wind gently caressed her injured face, her savior had saved her once again.

Yuki was tired and beaten up, she wanted to go home, but she still needed to pick her things up, she headed towards the coffee shop, but stopped at the entrance, “They will ask questions about my new bruise”. Yuki then headed home instead as she took a shortcut through the forest, she didn’t want to see anybody that could see her in that state. Yuki walked for a long time that she had begun to think that she was lost. After a while she suddenly heard the most beautiful yet sad melody she had ever had the pleasure to listen to. A song full of regret and loss, It was nothing like she had ever heard; she had heard wolves before howling at the moon, yet this was different. She shed a tear as she remembered her past; this melody touched her in so many different ways.

Yuki wanted to sing at the beautiful wolf song, she closed her eyes and imagined the compelling wolf that could be singing such melody. She opened her eyes and saw a wolf, “this is not right..." she then made the realization that the wolf that could understand her pain through music was still singing, she spoke again"this is not my wolf”.

Daisuke's paws were beating on the forest floor as he breathed in and out faster and faster. Although the night's dark blanket fell onto the woods, Daisuke was able to use his night vision to see details of the forest, particularly the pathway that he followed every night to go to his special howling spot. It was a small clearing with a pond in the middle of it and reflected onto the pond was a golden yellow full moon glistening with the stars. Many white flowers surrounded the area and the clearing was shaped into sort of a circular shape, except the south end was bumped a bit, kind of like the shape of a wolf's paw. It was here that Daisuke felt solace and comfort to sing his wolf songs to his lone listener, the moon. Even though the moon would slowly disappear, sometimes completely, and then slowly reappear to show its full form, Daisuke felt comfortable singing to the moon and trusted it with his worries. Daisuke bent his head down and then snapped it back up while arching his back and letting out a loud "HOOOWWLLL!!!" that echoed through the forest.

Daisuke sang about the events of the past and the events of the present. He sang about the regret he had for not being there to protect Yuki then and now. His sorrowful howls reflect the pain of not being able to get close to his master. The wind seemed to match Daisuke’s singing, getting stronger as he expressed more pain and becoming gentler as he calmed himself down. He continued to sing his song until he tired himself out and decided it was time to rest. Normally, the youkai don’t need to “rest” being spirits, but Daisuke was becoming weaker everyday as long as his master hated the youkai. He dashed through the forest looking for a secluded spot to rest where he wouldn’t be interrupted by any youkai that would tease him for becoming weaker. Suddenly, he saw a flash of blue dart across his field of vision, and he pressed down on both of his paws to skid to a stop. What was that? Daisuke asked himself. He backed up a bit and sneaked behind a couple of tall trees to take a closer look. In another clearing there was another wolf, only this wolf was not a youkai like him. The wolf had silver fur with grayish tints on his paws, ears, and snout. His eyes were glowing with a topaz yellow and were staring at a young girl with long blue hair.

It couldn’t be…Yuki!? Daisuke asked himself. A closer look revealed a bow with intricately carved golden flowers that shone in the moonlight. It is Yuki! But…what is she doing her?

“This is not right…this is not my wolf.”

Not my wolf? What does she mean? Daisuke was confused by his masters' words. He wasn’t aware of her owning a wolf as a companion or a pet, so why would she claim to have a wolf? Before he could contemplate anymore, Daisuke’s eyelids started drooping downward and he snapped forward to reawaken himself.

I better avoid her and go some other place before I collapse into slumber. Still, why would she go into these woods? She hates the youkai and the forest is ridden with them. I would observe her more but my strength is waning.

Daisuke stepped back and dashed back deeper into the forest, trying to find a spot to sleep in. Because he went so fast, Daisuke didn’t realize that his burst of speed created a large gush of wind behind him and that a small twig snapped as he stepped on it. When Daisuke found a thicket surrounded by bushes, his energy was depleted and he couldn’t run anymore. He then fell on his side and hoped that no one would notice him as the last of his strength transformed him back into his human looking form.

Yuki felt scared as she saw a wolf standing beside her, he simply stared aggressively at her. Yuki knew she had to defend herself and save her life. “I want to meet the wolf who sang such beautiful melody, I can’t just die here, I need to see the wolf that recognizes the same pain I do, ‘my wolf’”. She was surprised to say ‘my wolf’ it’s not like she knew the animal, rather more like she acknowledge him as her equal as if she and the wolf were one. “I think I am really crazy now” she thought to herself.

She slowly grabbed a hold of her bow; she didn’t want to make any sudden movements as the wolf started growling. She then grabbed an arrow and aimed right through the animal, she starred at the animal for a long while and realize she could not kill it. Instead she slowly took her arrow back, and slowly walked away without leaving the wolf out of her sight. The minimal movement of the wolf would have forced her to kill it, “please don’t move” she whispered.

She noticed something else before the wolf had finally left her sight, ‘her wolf ‘had stopped singing, she longed to hear it once again and promise herself she would come back to hear her wolf’s songs once again.

OOC: I am sorry it’s short Fate-chan I was having trouble as to what to write, I wanted her to see her wolf but I think it’s a bit soon right?

Daisuke huffed and huffed as he ran faster and faster away from his pursuer, the youkai that killed Yuki's mother. The youkai was drawing closer and closer to him and trying to pull him down to the underworld for his death, but Daisuke escaped his grasp and continued to run away. However, as he reached a clearing from the forest, Daisuke saw a beautiful girl with dark blue long hair standing in a field of white flowers. She did not seem be bewildered by his appearance or for the appearance of his pursuer behind him.

"Yuki! I uh...you have to run away from here!" Daisuke urged her.

"You're a youkai aren't you?" Yuki asked with a blank expression in her eyes.

"How did you know that???" Daisuke asked taken back by the fact that she knew what he was.

"Doesn't matter. I hate you! I hate all youkai and especially you!" Yuki yelled at Daisuke with immense force in her words before she turned to run away from him.

"Yuki, wait! It was a misunderstanding! I'm not a monster! Not all youkai are bad! Just let me explain-"

"You don't have to explain anything. I don't want to have to do anything with you!"

"But you're my master! I'm only here to protect you!"

"You will NEVER be my youkai!"

Suddenly, Daisuke was surrounded by a suffocating black aura that seemed to grasp at his neck and pull him downward. He looked down and saw a bunch of youkai suffering. Daisuke struggled to get out of the darkness's strong pull but he couldn't escape. He then saw the youkai that killed Yuki's mother in the distance with a big grin that made Daisuke grimace. The youkai then teased Daisuke saying "You will NEVER be my youkai!" using Yuki's voice.

"Don't use her voice!" Daisuke growled with anger. "Yuki!" Daisuke called out before he sunk into the darkness.

Daisuke opened his eyes quickly and scrambled to his feet. He looked around him and saw the forest still dark, but peaceful.

"Another nightmare, huh" Daisuke said to himself. He had been having nightmares of Yuki's rejection and of his inevitable death ever since the first time he lost enough energy to need sleep. He feared that one day Yuki would find out she had a youkai and hate him then reject him like she did in his nightmares. The cold night wind breezed through making Daisuke shiver a bit, but otherwise Daisuke was calm and glad that he could get out of that nightmare. It was still very late at night, but Daisuke wanted to walk around town a bit. He decided there was no need to change into his wolf form and rushed with blinding speed towards the town, hoping that no one was at the Candy Store. There was something that Daisuke needed to get before Yuki woke up. He wondered whether the other youkai still stalked around town at this time of night or if they retreated to the forest where all youkai resided.

Yuki was able to get back to her lonely home once she was able to back away from the wolf. Longing to hear the beautiful melody of the wolf, she promised herself to go back at least once a week. She knew it was dangerous because she could encounter other wolves that could attack her, but she didn’t care as long as she could hear it one more time.

As soon as she got home she felt saddened, she lived on her own for as far as she could remember; nobody knew though, even if she was strong she was afraid of letting other people know she was alone. who knows what they could do she wondered for a moment. Once she entered her home she remembered all the things that had happened to her throughout the day and all she could think of was the feeling of being protected. She felt as if she had a Déjà vu, as if things that had happened in the day had already happened before, Strange as it is I always feel protected. It’s true that I don’t have any family and not a lot of friends, but this is different, somehow I know someone still cares for me .

Yuki dreamt of a boy, he seemed serious and looking right through her, as if he knew everything about her, he looked at her dearly, he didn’t speak or move he simply stood there silently . Yuki knew she had seen the boy before, who are you? she wanted to ask but it was too late, Yuki had woken up.

"Who are you!?" she yelled wishing she could go back dreaming, and that the boy would answer. Yuki held her head as her mind struggled with past memories that Yuki could not understand. The memories of the boy who was always there for her, her savior, her wolf.

Daisuke arrived at the Candy store, with obviously no one there because it was so late at night. Since he was a spirit, he was able to go through the store and look at the many different kinds of candies. He usually went here at night so that he wouldn’t attract attention by grabbing candy, making it appear to be floating, and by paying yen that seemed to appear out of thin air to normal people’s eyes. He decided to go along with three packs of Pocky: one strawberry, one chocolate, and one dark chocolate, unsure of which one Yuki would like the most, and left some yen near the cash register as he usually did.

After his trip to the Candy store, Daisuke took out a slip of paper with some groceries that Yuki wrote out. He read the list aloud to himself, knowing no one was awake at this time except for some youkai that couldn’t care less.

“Yuki needs: one loaf of bread, one gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, butter, sugar, a gallon of water, one head of cabbage, a leek, five tomatoes, four potatoes, two green peppers, a pack of onions, a pack of strawberries, four apples, three peaches, two kiwis and one big watermelon. Hmm, Yuki needs a lot of food for one person. Well, I doubt she can carry all of this by herself, so I’ll help her.”

Daisuke went to the grocer and tried his best to find everything on the list. He made sure to inspect each vegetable and fruit for any bruises or signs of it being rotten, checked the expiration date for the milk, and made sure he counted everything to get the exact amount. Daisuke did made some minor errors picking out the groceries, however. When he tried to get the dozen of eggs, he accidently cracked a few, leaving some egg shells and yolk on the floor. He made sure to get at least a dozen that weren’t cracked for Yuki. Then when he was picking the milk, he wasn’t sure what type of milk to get Yuki, since it wasn’t specified, so he just picked out four quarts of milk since they equaled a gallon: one quart of regular milk, one quart of chocolate milk, one quart of strawberry milk, and one quart of almond milk. Finally, when he had to grab the watermelon, he grabbed one big one at the bottom, causing the whole stack to fall down and spread across the floor. He made sure to pay the groceries quickly and get out of the store fast, adding a note that said, “Sorry for the mess. I paid extra to cover for that.” He signed it with “the person who always comes at night.”

When Daisuke arrived at Yuki’s home, he left the groceries on the table and immediately went to Yuki’s room to see if she was there or not. He carefully made sure not to make a sound and peered inside to find Yuki on her bed sound asleep. Daisuke let out a sigh of relief and said, “Thank goodness she’s sleeping. I almost thought she wouldn’t be here and instead still be in the woods, but it looks like she got tired. Suddenly, Yuki opened her eyes and Daisuke quickly hid himself from view.

“Who are you!?” Yuki yelled.

Daisuke tried to conceal his heavy breathing, fearing that Yuki had seen him peer into the room. He had to get out of there, so he quickly made himself into his transparent, intangible wind form and headed out.

Yuki was breathing heavily now, she longed to hear the name of the boy in her dreams but she only found herself listening to her own troubled breathing. She stayed a little longer in her bed, trying to go back to sleep and to find some answers but her eyes were wide open and she wasn't tired whatsoever. In the end she gave up trying to fall asleep again, she got up from her bed and moved to the sink washing her face, she looked her own reflection at the mirror on top of her sink, who was that boy? she asked herself, maybe deep inside her buried memories she knew the answer but for now she needed to do her groceries. She had been so busy with school and everything else that she hadn't buy anything of the things she needed.

She headed to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast before going out, but was shocked to see a bag full of groceries on her table. At first she was scared thinking that someone could have gotten inside of her own house, but what kind of burglar would leave a bag of things first? she asked herself. She hesitated before approaching the bag but she finally opened it slowly just to find herself even more shocked. The bag contained everything she needed to buy, from the loaf of bread to her favorite candies. She remained silent for a while trying to remember if she had bought them on her own but she was sure that she hadn't. Yuki wasn't so surprised about the candy though every since she could remember she would always find candies on her house, she wondered if it was her mother's spirit wishing her to have a good day. if it isn't my mother, then who? she thought for a while.

After a long time of hesitation, Yuki had given up trying to discover the impossible. Since it was still very early she turned on her extremely old Television on the news channel and was surprised at what she had seen on the TV. The groceries store that she so often frequented to buy everything she needed had just collapsed, she thought of the many possible answers as to what could have caused it, but found not even a reasonable one. Due to her bad luck as she would often call it, she would have definitely gotten killed from the collapsed building. You saved me again was all she could think of, thinking of how many times she had been saved now.

You have been doing this since a long time haven't you? Taking care of me... she thought as she the first thing that came to her mind was the boy in her dreams. She didn't understand this feeling, the feeling of being safe, because strange as it seemed, she felt loved once again.
