"Shit!" Naomi cursed before going to back up. They didn't get far as the zombies started to crowd around the car, surrounding it. The car started to slowly move back until it completely stopped. Naomi cursed then took off her seatbelt, grabbing her backpack from the backseat and pulled it on before readying her pistol.
"Okay try and run to that fire escape by the apartment building!" Naomi told Rem. Taking a deep breath Naomi shot the zombie leaning against her window, the glass shattering from the silenced bullet. The zombie fell with a hole now through its skull and Naomi opened the door a tiny bit before kicking it as hard as she could, sending the nearby zombies toppling to the ground. Jumping out of the car Naomi shot two more zombies before running forward, weaving and dodging the out reached undead hands. She couldn't see Rem and that made her fearful. Naomi reached the fire escaped and climbed up before looking into the mass of zombies, looking for her red haired partner in crime. "Rem!" she shouted.
Suddenly a hand went over her mouth and she was pulled back. A large arm wrapped around her waist as Naomi was pulled into a apartment and harshly pushed against the wall. "Keep quiet will you" a male voice hissed. Looking at the man that grabbed her Naomi glared before nodding her head. The man instantly let go. Naomi was about to charge at him when a gun was pointed at her. Glancing to her side, a young dark skinned, purple haired woman had a pistol pointed at Naomi's head.
"Don't make any rash decisions, we aren't your enemies but if you are a threat we will shoot you" the woman said. Naomi tensed before nodding her head, finally noticing the other three members of their group. The dark skinned woman lowered her weapon before stepping forward.
"I'm Amelia" she said before putting her hand towards Naomi, who looked at it suspiciously before shaking her hand.
"Naomi and right now I have a friend out there and I don't know where she is".
A massive obese zombie roared, hissed, and snapped at her. Thankfully Remedie had curled her knees over her chest, so she was able to keep some distance between her and the snapping zombie. Her scythe was pressed against it's chest, but the more she pushed the deeper the weapon sunk in. Her nose wrinkled as zombies kicked at her, attempting to get past the fat zombie on top of her. She cried out when one of the undead kicked especially hard, and it felt like her ribs were breaking. Franticly reaching in back of her Remedie tried to grab her Desert Eagle.
It took her a few painful seconds to finally slip the gun out of the back of her jeans, but when she did she pressed the suppressor to the zombies head. Quickly pulling the trigger the gun jolted as it went off, blood pouring all over Rem. She didn't waist time, shoving the zombie off of her. She had 7 rounds left in the gun. Eye blazing in anger she shot 7 zombies, still laying on the ground. The pain in her sides were unbearable, and she was sure she was probably bleeding really badly, but she continued to fight.
When the top of the gun stayed cocked back showing the chamber of the gun, Remedie knew she was out of bullets. Hurrying up she pistol whipped a few of them, not aiming to kill them, just to stun them. Grabbing her knife, which fell to the ground, she hurriedly got up and shoved zombies out of her way, killing any that got too close. By the time she was out of the horde she was breathing heavily, and stumbling to her knees.
Before she knew what was happening she was being picked up by the back of her shirt, and shoved forward. Her eyes went wide as she quickly shoved whoever was touching her away. It was a young boy, probably around her age. He wore a beany and had a weird look in his eye. When she looked back she saw Naomi was with some other people. Rem's body relaxed, only for a second, as the kid started to push her away from the horde. "Let's go, we don't have all day!" The guy said. Remedie reluctantly started to run, her body still screaming in protesting pain. She ignored it, and kept on going.
"From the looks of it none of your ribs are broken but they are slightly cracked and bruised" Naomi told Rem before grabbed her backpack and seating Rem on a slightly fraying dark green fabric couch. Looking around Naomi took note that there was no makeshift beds or supplies lying around, meaning this wasn't the stranger's home base. As Naomi grabbed her first aid supplies a young, Hispanic girl came towards them, a twinkle of wonder shining in her dark brown eyes.
"Hi I'm Madison, I was just wondering but...are you a doctor?" Madison asked, a hint of hopefulness seeping from her voice. Naomi should her head 'no' before answering.
"No I was a veterinary assistant, I know how to tend to animals and on a basic level human's have similarities but my mom was also a nurse and she showed me some stuff. I use to hurt myself alot as a kid and she would show me how to fix myself up" Naomi answered as she started tending to Rem. Disinfecting any open wounds and checking for bites before she grabbed a cold press and placed it on her ribs.
"This should numb some of the pain, I'm afraid that and I bit of Advil is all we can do for now " Naomi told Rem, silently cursing that they had left most of their useful drugs with the truck and Bear.
"Doctor or not you have medical skill, we need you and your friend to come with us," a large man said. He was rather tall and intimidating. Remedie gritted her teeth as she got up, using Naomi as a support as she lifted herself up. Once standing she was relatively okay, but it hurt to move her arms. Taking the few pills Naomi offered Remedie followed the big guy out of the apartment. He looked over his shoulder at her. "Your name's Rem?" He asked.
Remedie shrugged a bit. "It's Remedie, but my friends call me Rem... You can call me Remedie," Her voice was full of questions and suspicion, but that's all she said. The man frowned, but nodded. "My name is Foster... The African American girl is Amelia, The other girl is Madison, and the guy that helped you up is Clarke," The man said.
Remedie looked back at Naomi, eyebrow raised as if saying 'what's going on?' Foster continued to walk, going all the way upstairs until they reached the roof. "We have another guy at our camp, Shaun. He's currently wounded right now. We ran into some raiders, and he got pretty banged up... We need Naomi's help." Remedies' lips pursed. She didn't like the idea of this guy instantly jumping to the conclusion that they were staying with them. "What about you guys? Who's in your group?" The Hispanic girl, Madison, asked. Rem looked back at Naomi once again, waiting for her to answer.
"Understood, then shall we get going? Our camp is in an apartment building not to far from here" Foster replied. Naomi nodded before looking at Rem.
"Are you okay or do you need to rest for a bit?" Naomi asked, her friend coming first as always.
Sorry it took me so long to post, but I promise I'm still here.
Remedie pursed her lips as she followed the group to the edge of the roof, which had a few boards on the edge, making a bridge to the slightly-out-of-jumping-distance building next to them. Remedie clenched her jaw as she followed Foster up onto the bridge, the Hispanic girl helping her up. She mumbled a thanks before continuing on, glancing back at Naomi to make sure if she was okay. Content when she saw her on the bridge as well, Remedie hurried across, hopping down carefully, but quickly. After traveling across a few more buildings the group went down a stairwell that looked like it belonged to a old hotel. They went down multiple flights of stairs until they reached the ground floor. Going into the old, dusty abandoned lobby the group hurried out the back door, through the workers lounge, and out the back door. There were no zombies, surprisingly.
Instead of zombies there was a large truck, that looked like it was once a moving van. Remedies eyebrow raised, but she didn't say anything as Foster fished some keys out of his pocket. "Remedie, want to ride up front with me, seeing as you're hurt?" Foster asked. He looked genuinely concerned, actually. Remedie frowned a bit, glancing back at Naomi before nodding her head. "Sure... We have a dog with us, though, and our own truck... I can direct to to where it is, and then we'll follow you to the apartment complex in the truck," Remedie said. Foster nodded, and went to the driverside door, the rest of the group going to the back, opening it up. Remedie hopped into the passenger seat, gingerly sliding into it. The back of the cab had a window, so that you could see the group in the back, sitting on make-shift benches. Foster stared the van, and once everyone was in, and the door was closed, drove off.
It's no problem! I understand you're busy, so I'm not holding you against your will to post every day xD. If you find something wrong with the RP, tell me, or if you're just no longer interested tell me, I'll understand. I just don't wanna sit here waiting for you to post, and it turns out you left the RP because you got bored or something.

Once Naomi was in the truck and it started moving she felt uneasy being in a cramped place with strangers. She held her bow at the ready, a arrow already in place incase of a sudden attack.
The Hispanic girl, Madison if Naomi remembered correctly, looked at her. The girls brown gaze unnerved Naomi.
"You can relax, we aren't the bad guys" Madison said, making the rest of the group look at her before turning towards Naomi who sent a glare towards everyone. "Trust me that doesn't reassure me what so ever" Naomi hissed. When the truck finally stopped Naomi moved quick, lifting the truck door and jumping out. Madison followed shortly behind but Naomi ignored her as she walked towards the old garage. Grabbing the keys she stole from the building she unlocked the garage door and stepped in before heading towards the truck. The moment Bear saw her, the pup barked and wagged his tail happily.
"Hi baby boy" Naomi greeted.
"Awe what a cute dog" a feminine voice said behind Naomi, who turned and saw Madison standing not to far away.
"Go back to your people I'll get everything here myself" Naomi growled making Maddy back away in fear. She mumbled a quick okay and left. Naomi quickly started the truck and pulled open the big garage door before hopping in the vehicle and backing up.
She parked beside Foster's truck and spoke to Rem.
"You coming with me or riding with them?"
When Naomi asked her if she was riding with her, she eagerly nodded her head. "We'll follow you, I assume," Remedie said back to Foster, who was watching her slid out of the truck like a giddy 5 year old at Disney World. She looked back at him, and he nodded. "Yeah. We'll be driving a few miles and then we'll be able to get to the complex," Foster said. Remedie shut the door, and looked back to see the girl who was talking with Naomi earlier, Madison, still standing there. She looked pissed off, scared, and confused. Remedie raised an eyebrow at her when their eyes met, but Maddie quickly looked away.
Brushing off the weird encounter she hurriedly jumped into the passenger seat of the red truck, happily greeting Bear, who's tail was wagging fiercely, and he was whimpering with excitement. He gave her kisses, and sniffed at her sides, but she just laughed it off and started to roughly pet his head. There was the sound of the large moving trucks door being slid closed, and then Foster started the engine of the truck. He started to drive, and soon Naomi followed.
It was about two minutes into the car ride before Remedie said anything, knowing that Naomi was probably cross with her. "You're mad at me for telling them about the truck, aren't you?..." She quietly asked, looking down at her hands. She could feel Naomi's scolding glance. "I don't trust them either, but I didn't know how else we were going to get Bear and the truck back," She bit her lip, waiting for a scolding from Naomi. Today didn't seam to be her day, really.
