Ao Taidana's Story

The Apartment

Seeing his jaw drop Midori's smile spread.

"Yup. I like Zelda, see?" She said, turning over her wrists to show him the two black Triforces she had permanently etched into her skin. He then asked if she wanted to play Zelda with him.

"Hell yeah!" She replied, "Just gimme a sec to go save Skyrim." Midori then quickly walked out and returned, cigarette in hand.

"You don't mind if I have a smoke, right?" She asked, subsequently sitting on his bed and pulling her knees up to her chest, awaiting an answer.

The Apartment

"No, of course not." Ao replied, smiling as his hand slid across the back part of his head. In all reality, it does. Eventually the tar and tobacco will get to make it grey in here, but a window will help air it out. Before she returns I'll open it up just in case of wrong intentions.

The Apartment

"Cool," She said, taking a drag. Her eyes suddenly widened. "Oh, fuck.. Fuck!" Midori exclaimed, slapping a palm to her forehead. I forgot Urami at my mom's place..

"My snake, Urami, I forgot him at my old house..." She explained, rushing out the door. Oh, that's right.. I don't have a damn car! An exasperated sigh escaped her lips as she paced in circles. Mom always hated him so there's no doubt that she'll throw him out soon.. And the old place is mles away! She clenched her fists.
Midori always got really attached to her pets and became extremely heartbroken if something happened to them. Her previously minty colored hair now turned a dark pine green as Midori became exceptionally irritable.

"Oh, well then..." Ao gazed partially at her but turned more to the tv, eyeing the boss as he fought it quite nonchalantly. "I can drive you there, if you want. Or maybe the subway would be better cause I don't really want to drive." Ao paused the controller, looked to Midori, and waited for a response. Please say yes to the subway... he thought, taking the last sip of a Sunkist in his hand.

Midori's eyes brightened as he mentioned the subway.

"Ok, let's go to the subway then." She exclaimed. Realizing she was a bit thirsty, she went to the fridge and grabbed a beer. Taking a gulp, her hair lightened slightly, and she was eager to set off.

Walking alongside Midori down the damp halls of the subway station, Ao cracked open a Sunkist and proceeded onto one of the trains. Looking to her as they sat down, he asked "Have you ever been in a subway before?"

Midori shook her head.

"Never," She said,downing another gulp of her beer.

"I never really needed to, since I didn't go out in public much."

"Oh" Ao responded silently as his hand slung around a pole in the subway. "So, what's your favorite movie from the 80s?" he asked awkwardly. Might as well make some conversation.

[OOC: Hey guys, I haven't been on for a while because exams are coming up soon so I'm sorry! Hopefully afterwards I can get on a lot more.]

Midori tilted her head and stared at the ceiling, thinking for a moment.

"Well.. Hmm, I dunno... I don't really like much crap from the 80's," She replied, looking off into the distance thoughtfully.

"What's your favorite video game? I'm guessing it's Zelda, right?"

(OOC~ I've also been busy lately with work and other bullshit. o3o So it's fine. ^-^')

"Oh, most definitely. But I can't choose one game from that series, so I like the whole series just as well." A that moment he was interrupted by the vibration of his cell phone, and upon opening it already filled with regrets. The loud, annoying tone of his mom killed the conversation with Midori as he heard the woman out with a sigh. "And don't be lazy like usual about her! Love you!" She said, the phone clicking out between their short talk.

Ao looked over to Midori, her green hair practically radiating. It looked so nice all the time, unlike his hair. Today, due to the non-existent shower he didn't care to do, his hair was partially flat but had some strands poke upward as well. Realizing this whole time he had been daydreaming staring at her, he broke the hair thoughts and said aloud what would pain him for the rest of today. "We have to pick my sister up from the airport at five today."

"'Kay," Midori replied.
She was actually rather happy to be able to spend more time with this guy, even though their conversations right now were a bit awkward. But, hey, that's just how shit starts out when you first meet someone. Midori was surprised she hadn't been flirting, and decided it was better to suppress her flirtatiousness, as it would probably make things even more awkward.

"Well, back onto the video game shit, my favorite would have to be Skyrim. I overall just.. Love it. And from Zelda.. Umm, I dunno. I like Wind Waker, it's so damn pretty, and the storyline is awesome." Midori exclaimed, gesturing and waving around her arms as she talked. She always did that as a kid, and over the years it had just become a habit.
