"Nothing that stands out too much."
Ven only has one odd marking on her body, and it is no tattoo or birthmark. It's a burn that she got as a child, and it's been on her right hand her whole life, thus leading to her to sometimes covering it with a glove.

Physical Description
"Take a good look."
Ven's physical appearance is very matured aside from others. Although she is still proceeding to her adult years, surprisingly, it turns out that she won't change very much. She stands at a good height of 5 feet and 7 inches, liking her height very much since she's not insanely tall for a young woman, or insanely short. Most of this is due to her long and thin legs. From there she has an average large hip, skinny waist, averagely large bust, skinny neck, skinny face, large crimson eyes, and a pale color. That was just a summary, and by averagely large, meaning it's not something that would stand out, but something any other average young lady would have. For some reason, Ven is very pale, despite her being outside quite often, although she does like to use umbrellas since she can't stand the sun. She has very neatly done black hair that is put into the longest twin pigtails. She hardly puts them down, unless she's sleeping, and often during winter, but other than that, she tends to tie them as it is now her daily look. Her eyes are natural and odd darkened red color. Some people say it tends to shift with her mood, tending to get darker when she's angrier and lighter when she's enjoying herself, though Ven continuously states that this is obviously false. The preferred clothing Ven likes to wear is a gothic style. Not that Ven is an emo young lady, in fact, she's not at all. She just tends to taking a liking to it. She often wears the same things; ruffled white shirt underneath a stylish black jacket with a red tie and a laced and layered black skirt accompanied by long black leggings (or none at all) and lovely red shoes. By that, you can kind of tell her color scheme; red and black.

Strengths
Controlling Eien - Well, as second in control, she does have some sort of little power besides the true leader of the Primes. But when things get out of hands with him, that's where she steps in instead. Unlike most, Ven isn't afraid of him in the least bit.

Stratagy - An odd relationship, but because Ven enjoys and plays chess so often, her intelligence of thinking fast and efficiently have increased insanely. Chess ties into this also since she has to think of her opponents moves and he own in a certain limit before time runs out. This allows her to think quick and wisely.

Hiding Things - This goes along with her abilities. Since Ven is able to hide an object, or even person, she is a master at it after using it whenever necessary. But this doesn't just go for his magic; Ven is a great actor or liar since she had no flaws in saying false words and making false expressions that look legit.

Outsmarting - If Ven is able to keep herself calm during an argue (horribly unlikely with Grey), then she is able to think quick and sharply just before choosing the most fitting and suitable wording for what she would counter the argue with. Whatever she says usually stumps her opponent and in the end, she wins.

Flaws
Bad Sense of Direction - When Ven walks into a new area, even with a map, it'll be almost impossible for her to find the right place where she was going, or even get back. While she is a calm young lady, she still tends to get a little frightened when alone.

Anger - Doesn't look like the type of person to snap, huh? But everyone will, so that means Ven will too. The especially comes into play with Grey; she'll always try her hardest to tolerate him/her, but after just a second, she'll get annoyed, and when she's angry, she goes all out.

Honest - Ven is very honest when it comes to her opinion. She will have times when she knows to keep quiet, but most of the time, she'll just say it right then and there, even if it's offending that person.

Gambling - While Ven loves gambling, the excitement of the game, and does it often, it's gotten into a horrible habit of doing it whenever she's bored. Sometimes she'll just walk into some random alley way and make bets with a gang, and, because she likes to use her powers to her advantage, she always wins.

Weaknesses
Fire - Fire is one of the things Ven will avoid at all costs. Because of her house being burnt down with her family, she's even more afraid now that she's the only one left.

Alcohol - Most times when Ven is near alcohol, she'll refuse, but then get into the mood and take a few sips, looking very calm and majestic, as she always does, until her third or fourth sip she'll immediately become drunk and had little control over what she's doing. Because of this, Ven stays as far away from any alcoholic beverages as possible.

Primes - While Primes can be her strengths also, they're mostly her weakness. Why? Well, Ven does love them like they were all her younger siblings, and though some may be older, but because of her love for them, if any one were to be taken hostage, she'd to anything to get them back.

❝On the inside❞

Image
Weapon(s)
Tends to vary because of her power | She likes to use throwing knives, or daggers, basically small weapons with blades that can be used in both hands
"Would you like to see all that I have?"

Powers
"Stay on my good side and none of the below will happen to you~"
Ven's first power is a very unique and simple one. Basically, she can take any human being, plant, living thing, or even nonliving thing and hide it in the shadows. It doesn't matter how large it is or how small, heck, she could hide a whole house if she wanted to. The only negatives to this is that while people can walk where that object had disappeared, Ven cannot put it back or that person, or anything that wasn't there before could be crushed and killed. Therefore she has to wait, and keeping something in the shadows, especially if it's large, take a lot of her energy up, though she has grown use to the strength needed. Not only that, but she is only able to hold up to 5 things/people, regardless of weight or size (though that will effect how much energy is drained from her)

Her second power is one a bit more violent, and she tends not to use it since it'll greatly effect her body. Her second ability is to break anything in the human body, and only a human body, as long as they are within 20 feet and have direct eye contact. That means if they were just 20.1 feet away, it wouldn't work, and if they had glasses on, it wouldn't work (even just reading glasses.) But when it does work, Ven will begin to cough up blood, a lot of it. This'll make her feel odd for a day or two, and drains most of her energy, so she doesn't use it unless definitely needed.

Personality
"I'll reward you if you can deal with me~"
Venecifia is a very peculiar person. Her personality is a little hard to describe, but once getting to know her, one can see that they actually know little about her at all; her motives, her thoughts, and even the meaning behind certain actions. A single word that would sum up Ven's regular day to day attitude would be; unpredictable. No one can ever tell what her next move is, no matter the situation; where its just a regular and plain day, or an actual fight. Only the Primes are able to read her mind, and even then, she's still not an easy person to understand. She likes this though. Ven often uses it in her advantage to brighten up her day. Usually when things become stressful, or 'annoying,' she'll want to make someone the target of her teasing, and she uses her unforeseeable actions to mess with that person, regardless how close they are or how they'd react.

As you can guess now, Ven is actually a person who likes to play around. She still has that mature air to her, seeing how her speech is different from a child or teens', but she still messes around here and there, gets in trouble, and makes fun of others. If she was still in her younger years, she'd probably be classified as a bully. But a different type of bully. The stereotypical bully would beat someone up and steal their money, but Ven is the type of bully who would say things that would tease a certain person, but they'd only realize it a moment later because of the soft and mature tone she'd say her words in. This doesn't mean she really or always thinks these things about that person though; especially when it comes to Primes, she has a deep love for them all that is very protective. Although her mature voice is how she always speaks to everyone, she tends to act much more adult-like when she's taunting someone else, even as immature as it is. But she really only makes fun of the other Primes. When it comes to Colours, she has more of a hatred sound to her voice rather than playful.

Even though Ven appears to be quite calm most of them time, when she gets angry, such as people talking back, people mentioning the Colours, and Grey, one of the only Primes that really gets on her nerves. While at first, she'll always do her best to be patient, she does have her times when she can snap. And when she snaps, she snaps hard. Once her patience runs out, she is literally on the brink of destroying something, and sometimes, she actually does destroy something. As an example, when she is around Grey, Ven almost has no patience. Just them being close to each other or even in sight of each other gets her annoyed, and if they are left alone, things will, without doubt, go to hell. She'll begin yelling, cursing much more, and it's almost as if she's a completely different person. In this state of annoyance, almost nothing will stop her yelling unless she wants herself to stop, and that sometimes happens, depending on the situation. Only sometimes.

Her finally personality is when Veneficia is in her emotional phase. When people bring up her family, or anything depressing, she'll, like most people, want to be left alone. Anyone who tries to talk to her will be given the cold shoulder and shoved away. If Ven isn't feeling in her mood, it's always best to leave her alone since she's thinking about many things, and once she gets over this, she'll go back to teasing and being her usual self. Still, when some talk about her past, or even their own happy past with their actually family, Ven will being to feel sick. It's not often shown in her speaking manner (that hardly ever changes), but it is shown in her expression as she may show a frown after someone speaks of the topic, or grow silent and things of that sort. But Ven tends not to stay in this mood as it is quite out of her own character. Instead, she's often that mature and teasing young lady within the Primes.

History
"It's a sad... yet interesting story... Care to listen?"
Veneficia Cerberus, born in February on the 19th day, was actually born outside the three main cities. She wasn't born in the classiest, nor the average, or the worst. In fact, to this day, she really has no clue where she was born and came from, even if she did attempt to remember, which she never will. What she does remember though, is growing in a place that was filled with a lot of green in spring and summer, brown in fall, and white in winter. She also remembers, as a girl, seeing people pass by who had carts and had sacks on their back with a friendly smile as they'd wave to her family. She remembers a small house with a baby, a man, a woman, and two little girls, one being her. In short, they had no technology, a big family, and lived in the country side, is what she'd always guess when the thought would come to her mind.

She was the oldest sibling and was the only sibling for three years until her younger sister was born, Arin. At first, the two didn't get along, at all. Arin, surprisingly, was more dominate than Ven, who was the older sibling. Ven was often the one getting orders from her three year younger Arin. Arin actually looked a lot more mature than her older sister, being taller, but looking much less feminine actually. Still, the little girl had still been a great younger sister since Ven began to mature a little while later and finally became the actual older sister. Even then, Ven didn't act too dominate. She was very kind and loving, sometimes even shy towards strangers and her own family. This is what she got from her mother, who was very docile and calm while Arin got her very sarcastic personality from her father. But in the end, the trait the two shared was working.

Since Ven grew up in the country side, its only obvious that the whole family had to do their own work. Even though their world was now filled with much technology and modern tools, Ven's family never favored it at all. They sometimes even grew some of their food, and their way or making money was selling what they grew. They also didn't even have dishwashers, at the very least. They hand washed everything with the water from the lake that was only half a mile away. While her mother did the cooking chores, her father making the money, the two children were the ones who did other chores like cleaning the clothes, cleaning the dishes, making the bed, getting fire food, and other things of that sort. That is... it was like that until their mother was about to give birth again.

This happened in the worst time possible; during winter, the coldest and harshest climate for the family that had little support from technology. It was a very hard time on the family because their father was also in debt to the people he worked for. Worse yet, that debt had been going on for over two years yet all the man had been doing was taking more money from the company, and they knew that they were going to go bankrupt one day. But since his wife was giving birth in such a hard time, the people had decided to let the Cerberus family have one more chance at paying them back and gave them a full year to give all the money back, or, atleast, after the mother gave birth. That didn't work out either.

Because it was winter, James, Ven's father, had to work harder, but no matter how long and hard he worked, in the end, he never had enough money to support his whole family, not to mention there was another child coming along that would cause him even more trouble. So he borrowed money, again, to make the winter storms less hard on all of them. And then, it was finally time for the newborn child. Or not. A miscarriage had happened that winter, and so there was no Daerik Cerberus. He hadn't been born, in fact, it was unknown if he was even a male, but this made the mother go into Great Depression, and it was still the beginning of winter. They had gotten a bedroom ready, extra food, and the mother was so excited that whole time only to find out that there would be no child in the end. The family's spirit broke into pieces, and just when you'd think things couldn't get worse, it did.

It had been a whole year since the miscarriage, and the borrowing of money, and the men that Ven's father had borrowed from grew impatient and decided to take things into their own hands. On the days when the family was almost getting it back together after the death of their younger sibling or child, a knock came onto the door. James opened it only to find a gun pointed at him. A trigger was pulled and a bullet was shot directly at him. It was the same men from before. They didn't get their money back after all those years and they were tired of it, so they decided to quickly end the family so the problem would cease to happen again. But they couldn't just go in there and shoot them all or it'd look like someone actually had killed them. So they lit the house on fire.

Red flames and black smoke was everywhere, and no one was there to help the poor Cerberus family. The mother had one of the wooden poles fall on her leg and was slowly burning it while she pushed her children away, screaming at them to go away and run as fast as possible and never go back to what was once called their home. It was a terrifying day, but somehow, the children made it. Ven and her little sister, Arin made it. Without thinking though, they ran, perhaps hours without stop until they rested. In that time of rest, they poured over what had happened in an instant. They lost all of their family in a single day and were out on the streets. Arin wanted to return and find anything to keep from the burned house, but Ven had a fear of going back and wanted to keep to her mother's last words. Being the dominate one now, Arin had no choice but to listen.

But it's not like things got better. No, not at all. Their life just got darker, and darker, and darker as they walking on, perusing the city if they would ever find it as two homeless girls who knew nothing but the country of green. As they seemed to have grown closer to the city, the sisters noticed people beginning to grow paler, and also clearer, and eventually they saw dead bodies everywhere they went. While most children would scream and run, Arin and Ven were getting older, and after all they had experienced, how could they flinch or feel sorry? All they did was continue to walk for the city, but then that same disease had somehow managed to get to Arin, Ven's only family left. This made her even more scared than before; the thought that she'd be all alone. But what had to happen, had to happen. They were so close to the city, but because of Arin's condition, they were so far away.

After a few more days of walking, Arin had died and Ven was truly alone. She wasn't going to leave her sister on the road like everyone else, so a few miles from the city, Ven made a hole in the ground for her and buried her there with her own hands. There is even a stone there as a grave marking currently. From there, Ven became much different than before, even though she finally reached the city. But what now? What was there to do or live for? Since she has no family, what exactly was she supposed to do? Nothing. She was going to commit suicide one day before her saviors came along; Eien and Avarna.

Ven didn't know what to think of the two after they told her that they were going to change the world. But after a day or so of thinking, Ven came to realize that if they changed the world, that would change many other things also, and perhaps death of more people would be postponed also. From there, Ven began to follow them at the young age of 18, everywhere they went. She shifted again, but to someone different than before. She found her new home and family, a job, and a life worth living which is why she is so dedicated to them to this very day.

Opinions
"You really wish to know~?"

Eien Amias - Because he was one of the two saviors that had changed Ven, she is in his debt and loyal to him for the rest of her life. She gives him, and his brother, who she knows about, the highest most respect, though she still likes to tease him here and there like the others. 'Such a mystical person... but it's more fun to know someone when so much of them is a secret~"

Avarna Amias - Just like his brother, Ven is also in debt to him and very loyal. In some manner, she tends to feel sorry for him being thought of as just a legend or myth when he really exists, but it bound to keep this a secret, just as she is to many other things. 'It's odd how I still do not know much about him, yet I still call us family.'

Ardaleah Melancton - While he may be older than Ven, she tends to treat him like a younger siblings and often has her fun by teasing him the most about how nice he is compared to the others in Prime. Still, being in Prime makes her assume he has his brutal moments also. 'Kill people with kindness? Is that the method he uses?'

Altid Immitis - One of the only Primes that really gets on Ven's nerves. Even when she is calm, just the sight of him makes her sick to her stomach, but as much as she has a hatred for him, she still has that love for him as he is also one of the other Primes. 'Oh, how much I would like to slap that child... and maybe stab him~ Oh? Did I say something?'

Takano Hiroki - She gives him quite an amount of respect due to the fact that he is more sane than the others, and likes to go head on with him with teasing and sarcasm since he also claims to be good at it. A challenging opponent is always fun to duel in her opinion. 'Pupupu~ If he honestly thinks he is able to beat me verbally, please pass the message that he is wrong.'

Elysia Audra - Ven doesn't know much about the Colours, but while she does hate them, she does have a bit of a hatred-like for this one compared to the others. Her outgoing personality is kind of what gets Ven, even though they're both on opposite sides. 'I look forward to meeting her again in person, perhaps I'll see if she grew an inch taller~'

Hei Eos - Just like the other Colourless, Ven has a hatred for her as well, especially since she's second in control, just like her. Not only that, but she aids Red the most, which really sticks out to Ven and makes her hate the girl even more, regardless of personality. 'No matter how you act, how innocent you may be, if you aid that monster, I'll be sure to kill you first.'

Evening Avalon - Again, Ven knows little about her, but for Red, Ven needs no reason other than that she has a deep hatred for Eien, so why not return the favor? Ven is set on killing her first, if possible, and definitely would have no mercy in her heart if she got the chance. 'Take any step closer to Eien and I'll tear you apart, and I do not mean that figuratively.'

Kanade Hoshizora - All the information she knows of the girl is that she makes the weapons. If you make weapons for the Colourless, she'll hate you. If you make weapons for Red, Ven's eyes will be set on murder. While she can't have a deep hatred for her like Red, she still doesn't like her. 'If she were on our side, I'm sure I'd be more welcome. Too bad she chose the wrong side.'

Others to be added in.

Other
"Are you really that curious?"
¥ - Ven carries around a deck of playing cards that she took from her burning house when she was younger. It's currently the only possession left of her blood family and she uses it to gamble, and just as a painful memory of what happened back then.

Dangan Ronpa Ending- Suzumu/Soraru
Lyrics
"What is it that you desire?"
A question that'd fit right into a fairy-tale
Looks like my world will never
Go back to the way it used to be

My vices get in my way
The Devil demands something in return
So I'll sell my soul to him
And dive head first into his game

Simon Says I have to play
I've got no right to refuse
And the mission he gives me
Is to take a life

I'm covered from head-to-toe in despair and envy
The reality I take refuge in feels like paradise
I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any desires
There's no point in trying to be something I'm not

So I expose my dreams to the light of day
Along with the part of me that wants to be a hero
I'm aware I'm contradicting myself
But unfortunately, there's no cure for stupidity

'James!' Veneficia, a small mere child at the time, heard her mother scream as she saw her father fall to the ground after a pounding noise blasted through both her ears. What was going on? She didn't know. Her father wasn't moving on the ground, and the men in the doorway had disgusted looks on their faces as they took out a red container of liquid and poured it around the house while Ven's mother wept over her father.

But really, what was going on? Ven didn't understand since it all happened so soon. She wasn't sure if she should have felt scared, sad, or angry, so all she could do was stare blankly at her motionless father with her younger sister, Arin's, hand in hers, who was also unsure.

It was only a minute later that the house turned a bright red, orange, and yellow color and it began to grow hotter and hotter on the inside. The house was burning. The cries of her mother turned into screams after a burning part of the roof came toppling down onto both her legs. She couldn't move, even though she tried to pull herself out, but the wood was far to heavy and the fire burned her hands when she tried to move it.

What the two girls did was merely just stand there. Ven could see her mother shouting something at the two, but her ears only rang with blurred noises. Arin gripped her older sister's hand more tightly, and when Ven turned to look at her, she was crying, but her face still showed no expression. The sisters turned back to their mother who kept on shouting, tears coming from her eyes two as her mouth continued to move.

Veneficia still couldn't hear anything though. What did her mother say the day she died?

Without thinking, once the horrifying sounds had returned to Ven's ears, she ran. She had no clue what she was thinking at the time, but she just ran, finding a small exit near the back of the house. If she didn't hurry, both her, and her sister would be crushed underneath the burning house. But that would have been troublesome, is what she thought, so she dove for it, and the two made it out, hardly alive, just in time to see their house in the fields of green crash to the ground and turn that beautiful emerald colored grass to a flaming red.

'W-What happened...' She asked quietly to herself. Veneficia didn't register anything that had happened until moments later where she suddenly broke down and began to cry along side her sister. After all, they lost everything in a simple few minutes.

Ven's eyes flashed open as she launched herself upwards out of her bed in the middle of the night. She was sweating, and it was burning hot. With a great sigh, she rose her hand towards her forehead, feeling nauseous and dizzy. Then, she cursed to herself. No matter how hard she tried to forget about what had happened in her past, she just simply couldn't, 'Any dream I have now are nightmares.' She thought to herself before getting up to change since she was most definitely not going outside her room wearing her night dressing.

From out of the shadows, she pulled out a deck of burned cards and looked down at them for a spare moment, "You promised we'd play cards that day..." She muttered mindlessly before realizing she had said something but shook it off and simply hid the cards in thin air with her concealing ability.

With a simple cough and stretch of her arms, Veneficia, the insane yet mature woman, was back to her usual self, "Perhaps I'll go gambling tonight? I'm sure those on the streets are awake and still betting the little money they have." She said before walking out of her darkened room, only being illuminated by the moon, and into the large building, which she never grew accustomed to, due to the fact that she had a horrible sense of direction.

"What a pain..." Ven said to herself, as usual before walking down the hallways and searching for some way to get off the current floor she was on. Like always, she was wearing those heels that made her one inch taller than she originally was, the same black dress and had her hair in the same curled fashion. That hardly ever changed, and it probably wouldn't for a very long time.

While walking, she heard voices in a near by room. Even though she merely sounded like whispers to her, she could recognize their voices any where, no matter how quiet they were. After all, once Ven had lost her family, the two had offered her something she couldn't refuse. While she never mentioned anything about it, she would always think of them are her saviors.

Without warning, she opened the door, quite quickly also and asked with that usual teasing, yet calmed smile, "Did I interrupt any brotherly love?" She gave off a small laugh. Usually, she'd close the door behind her, since Avarna, or Grey, was not supposed to be known to be an actual person. But it was nighttime, who would be awake and roaming the building and just happen to stumble upon that room over the many others? Nearly impossible, is what she calculated. Besides, she blocked the doorway, so no one would be able to see anyways.

"I'd hate to be called an eavesdropper, but what is this of the Colours?" Ven asked, crossing her arms as she leaned onto the doorway, supporting her weight. She was always keen about the Colours. Since Eien and Avarna were her saviors, and Colours were trying to get rid of them, that was the only reason she needed to hate them. It was only expected that she'd like to keep track of every one of their movements.

While she did say that she had eavesdropped a little, she made no mention of the dream, or 'nightmare' as she would call it, to the two. There are no reason to, and Veneficia had rather wanted to forget about the past rather than share it with others.

"And shouldn't the two of you children be sleeping? Especially you, Avarna; if some by passed, such as me, were to find you, things could get complicated, perhaps." She always referred to them as children. In fact, Ven referred to everyone as a child, despite their age, height, gender, or whatever else there was to judge from.

"There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Unless it's night."

She still felt him.

He was in the tinkle of laughter when the wind brushed its fingertips across the wind chimes that hung above the doors of her art supply store. She worked there when she could find a gap between saving the world and saving herself.
He swam in the river of gold that ran through the fragments of sky and found itself beneath her skin.
He was in every inhalation, every sigh, and every tired gasp when another nightmare held her too close, when she remembered to breathe.
He lived somewhere between the footsteps that surrounded her, each individual pitter patter louder than the last, deafening and muffled like she was underwater.

She couldn’t stay afloat. She didn’t know how.

So she took it one day at a time. One twist of a knob to enter another empty room, and another, or one so crowded she couldn’t find herself. That was, if there was anyone left to find.
She listened to the scratch of charcoal on the thick grains of cream, and the drone of her empty heart was the most beautiful music she’d ever heard.
She let the dirt and grass beneath her body devour her, and convinced herself she was sinking when sleeping in a hollow bed became too hard.

She couldn’t live for herself. So she didn’t.

Jin, Jin, Jin… His name was an echo that shattered her thoughts like a gentle shock from a defibrillator. She tried not to think of him, but slitting her own throat might’ve been easier.
She didn’t let herself fall into the ocean of memories and feeling because she was afraid if she did, she would never find her way out.
Living with herself, with her head and her heart, became too hard. So she pretended she was Jin instead. Kind, determined, inspirational.
She pretended to be the light, the hope and the warmth she couldn’t feel.
Pretended to be the beacon and leader he might’ve been, had he survived.

Had Eien left him alive instead of her.

Had she not let him be murdered.

Had she not watched. Him. Die.

So was this it? Was this her apology? Her way of showing her gratitude? For losing everything that was good in the world? By pretending to be someone she could never, in her wildest imaginations, ever hope to be? By being Red?

It was.

Eve slipped her fingernails into the edges of the vent door on the roof of the building she knew the rebels were being held and where she knew the Primes also were. She'd been watching them for a long time. Too bad the vent door wouldn't budge. They must've sealed it since the last time she'd slipped in.

Eve felt the hum of moonlight and the trillions of stars above her in her veins but the darkness that plagued the night made photosynthesis painfully difficult. This was sunlight she couldn't waste but time was something she didn't have and finding another entry point would take minutes of the night away. Minutes people could die in.

Each ticking of the clock tower not so far away warned her of the lives that would be lost. One by one, they would be killed, their corpses abandoned with their trapped souls. Like her Colours. Like Jin.

A straight beam of sunlight shot from the tip of her index finger and sliced cleanly through the vent door. She soon followed through, slipping her body through the square hole and swinging silently onto the pristine floor below. Angry voices travelled through the maze of hallways, their footsteps sluggish and heavy.

"He's a child!"

"...not fit to rule."

"Quiet, he can hear you."

"...demon."

Eve darted around the corner, checking the guns tucked in her leather pants and the swords and knives pressed to her thighs. Her gaze shot up to the edge of the indoor balcony above her. With no time for doubt, she threw her body upward and grasped the edge of the railing only to feel the thump of footsteps just above her. She swallowed a curse and pressed her body tight against the ceiling, holding her entire weight by her fast numbing fingers.

"Did you hear something?" asked a cautious male voice.

Her arms were trembling as she hung upside down above them, seeing the top of their balding heads.

Move, move, move, she thought furiously.

"Oh." A chuckle. "My phone was buzzing this whole time."

Then they were gone.

Eve allowed herself a muted sigh as she swung her body over the railing and stood on the next floor. Her boots made no sound as she zig-zagged her way through the building, unseen and unnoticed. She'd contacted Hei earlier and knew Elysia had effectively replaced the footage on the security cameras. The young girl was phenomenal, succeeding in every mission Eve gave her, even if she never knew who it was from. Besides the vague, mythical Red who probably, maybe wasn't real, of course.

Eve was there.

A strand of red hair peaked from her cap and she tucked it into the inconspicuous mask that hid her identity and slipped behind the servant and through the doors that opened behind him for a fraction of a second. She placed a finger over her lips and shook her head at the shocked expressions of the rebels. Immediately, they relaxed their muscles into the tense frown they were in before. Every man and woman was bleeding and some had limbs that hung uselessly beneath the cuffs that connected them to the chairs - cemented to the floor, of course.

"We won't ask again. Where are-"

The woman choked on the blood gurgling from her throat, her words dripping onto her white blouse along with her life. Chaos erupted through the massive holding room as Eve hauled the person who's throat she'd slit to her feet. Bullets slammed into the dead interrogator's shell as Eve held her in front of herself, tucking her gun between the woman's arm and her torso to fire her pistol at the guards that invaded the room. She cursed as she dropped to a roll, a laser sword slicing cleanly through the air where her neck was just a millisecond before.

Her heart slammed against her ribcage as she pushed her body against the back of a metal chair.

"Free the rest," she hissed at the rebel trapped in it before cutting through the cuffs on his wrists and ankles with a cold blue stream of fire. A guard lunged at her and Eve leapt to her feet, twisting around and slamming the heel of her foot into his abdomen. He bent forward and she took the opportunity to wrestle the submachine gun from his hands, slamming the butt end into his temple.

She dropped to one knee and fired away.

Eve tugged at the lava that ran through her veins and saw the soft glow of her body as it reached impossible temperatures. If a gold coin had been tossed at her, it would've melted before it brushed her skin. Wisps of her now sizzling crimson hair peaked through her specially made clothing.

The submachine gun melted in her hands.

Eve slammed her palms together and the sun peaked between her fingers. A sphere of red light crashed from her body as she threw out her hands. The solar flare tossed her enemies aside, their bodies nearly making the walls shiver with the impact. The glass doors shattered into millions of little pieces as the pressure engulfed them. The blinding light coursed through the broken doors, out into the corridor and further through the building.

"Go, go, go!" she yelled to the rebels who stared in shock and disbelief.

"Where?" yelled the same man she'd first freed, now recovered.

"No time! Out the front door, take their guns. I'll distract!" she said hastily, hearing the warning crack of the floor beneath her suffering under the pressure. Her hair, tucked aside, gave a suggestion of a red halo around her, reflecting the bleeding, inhuman glow of her eyes.

"What about you?" he yelled back as people streamed out the door she'd blasted open.

"Leave it! It's a Colour!" came a reply from a nearby rebel, jerking the man with him through the path of escape.

The streams of fiery crimson, azure and gold light oozing from her body wavered, dimmed, and diminished.

"Hei," she breathed into her mouthpiece, not caring now if Yellow or any other hacker could hear her. She felt the familiar heaviness in her veins, as if she'd devoured ten gallons of petroleum. The migraines were blinding in their intensity, as if someone had reached into her skull and decided to play tennis with her brain. She could hardly stand on her feet. "Backup. Get them out."

She'd never asked for help before, but this had been a suicide mission as Hei had probably warned her. She'd never attacked Prime headquarters so outrightly before, but 26 rebel lives had been on the line. Leaders. Children. Could she have convinced herself that she was worth more than that?

Besides, she didn't plan to die just yet. She was the distraction.

The world needed Red.

She tugged at the leg of her pants and reached underneath for the ink beneath her skin. Her fingers peeled the circular object from her ankle and she clutched a miniature bomb in the palm of her hand.

Kanaede's device followed the arch of Eve's arm and blasted a hole through the wall.

Takano Hiroki

"The fuck-" Takano was distracted by the large noise going off. Intruders."This would be easier if I knew who the person was." Takano thought aloud. After a few passwords he'd entered into the program. He could take a wild guess that Red was behind this but it would be messed up if it wasn't and he ended up making her do something for no reason. Not that Red was necessarily a easy target. Her will was comparable to Eiens, though unlike Eien- Red isn't impossible to control.

As much he would love to work from his sanctuary it seemed he'd at least need information. This was about to get complex. Takano reflected for a second on the situation. He came to the conclusion of if he wanted to remain anonymous he'd have to use the power he didn't like using.

"Winds that gently blow send me the conscious whispers of man." Takano said, he specifically phrased it so the winds should be subtle enough that it wouldn't seem unnatural. His hair began to sway in the soft breeze as he heard clips of voices "Red..... how are.....seriously heated..." "Go!.......Hei.." "...colours.." His suspicions were confirmed and Takano smirked to himself as he typed.

Ultimate Hack
Command(Hei Eos):Stop all movement:End Command
Command(Evening Avalon):Stop all movement:End Command

He knew that Hei would stop for a fact, if even for a fraction of a second. It was Red he worried about. His plan had complications as well, there was no telling how long the two would stop moving. If they only held still a few seconds to a single minute and a Prime doesn't arrive they'll know who's behind it and keep on guard making it less likely for another suggestion to be successful. But Takano was ready for that and had already formulated about 6 backup plans depending on their reaction. In these plans he included the chance they could of felt the wind and were suspicious. Just another day at the fucking office right?

Kanade Hoshizora

Kanade snuck tucked and rolled her way into the hide out just as the alarm began to blare. She'd heard the messages that Red had sounded and was happy to be able to protect her. Kanade's view of her only got better at these bold acts she took. "Summon." She put her hands together and as they spread apart a Submarine gun appeared in her hands.

She spotted Hei and Red as she entered into the range of fire. A guard grabbed her by the crook of her elbow and said a smart comment about children and her size which was barely audible above the gunfire. Kanade spun around and stuck the gun in his mouth. "You died in combat, a honorable death." Kanade closed her eyes and suppressed a smile. Death isn't funny. Get a hold of yourself.

Kanade used her free hand to lift up her eyepatch, revealing a bright golden eye. She stared at the man, searching his memories. She saw his past since his death was confirmed. Her eyes opened wide at the day of past she received from him. This man had interacted with Grey and alerted him about the escaping prisoners. Kanade fired the gun. "Kacey!" Kanade ran past Hei, "Sorry I'm late, I'm going to help the rebels still imprisoned." . She soon ran towards Kacey who was in a nearby cell just around the corner. After summoning a bomb that killed the prisoners guarding her and broke the iron bars she grabbed Kacey and pulled her out.

She dearly hoped Grey didn't find them in time, he was the one person who brought the insane out of her like no other. She couldn't loose control and hurt Kacey, no matter how Kacey felt about her she'd always felt the closest to her. The other person she hoped wouldn't come was Arda. It had to be some sort of treason against Colours to have any feelings other than hate and dislike for a Prime. As long as Grey and Silver stayed out of the way they'd both be... relatively fine. Kanade pulled her eyepatch down, "We need to run. Grey is coming."

The sound of the door opening, caused Eien to go into attack mode. He cursed himself that he didn't bother to lock the door, just because he thought no one would enter the room. Without a single sound one by one shadow monsters appeared behind him. They all had glowing red eyes, with drool dripping from their mouths. They bared there teeth at the one who was about to enter the room. As they were about to attack Eien heard a familiar snicker, and quickly called off his monsters. He watched as the one who had entered the room was Ven.

A sigh escaped Eien's lips as he was glad it was just Ven, "Did I interrupt any brotherly love?"

Eien growled lowly as he hated it when Ven teased him. Avarna on the other hand enjoyed Ven's remarks, it made him happy to have some more company with him. "Ven!" Without warning Ava raced toward Ven, and embraced her in a welcoming hug.

Eien sighed as he noticed how happy Ava was. This discouraged his raising rage, and soon he no longer had the heart to yell at Ven. His silent thoughts were interrupted by Ven's question,"I'd hate to be called an eavesdropper, but what is this of the Colours?"

Avarna wasn't paying attention as he was to happy about the fact Ven came to visit him so late at night, so she directed the question toward Eien. He looked Ven in the eyes and spoke, "Well Altid had captured some rebels and Colours when he was on patrol in Kano. I was going over there, after I came to visit Ava. But somehow Ava found out about the prisoners, and I promised to take him with me to see them as long as he was hidden."

After answering her question, Ven started to tease Eien once again, causing his eyebrow to twitch in annoyance, "And shouldn't the two of you children be sleeping? Especially you, Avarna; if some by passed, such as me, were to find you, things could get complicated, perhaps."

Before Eien could say anything, Avarna was already speaking, "Well, I wasn't really tired. So I called brother from his meeting. Besides you don't have to worry about people seeing me anymore, cause soon, everyone is going to see me."

Ava was about to ask Eien a question, when he felt an attack of emotions. It hit him like a bullet, and he fell to the ground. "Avarna?!" Eien ran over to his brother. Quickly bending down, he looked Ava in the face. A shiver went down Eien's spine as he saw a cruel smile displayed on Ava's lips, "Hey...Eien...Something fun is going to happen."

Like magic the alarms sounded all around, and a horrid noise echoed throughout halls. Eien cursed under his breath, "What is going on?"

He looked toward Ven, who shrugged her shoulders unknowingly. Eien quickly went into thinking mode. He was sure that it was Altid who ordered the alarm to sound, but why? Eien looked over at Avarna, who seemed to be in a happy trance.

He's feeling a lot of emotions.

"Avarna, what is going on? Read me the emotions!" It was silent, only the sounds of the alarms and the running feet of soldiers could be heard. Finally after a long silence, Avarna started to speak,"Relief. 'Finally we are free!' Confusion. 'Who let them all out?! Wait is that a Colour?' Complete Fear. 'Run! He's coming! Grey is coming!' It seems we have what they call...a prison break."

Once again the dark creatures surrounded Eien. This seemed to make Avarna amused so he continued, "...Red is there." This was a enough to cause the lights to burst, covering the whole room in darkness. The only source of light left was the red blinking alarms. With every flash, one could see the gathering of gruesome beasts around Eien. Some looked like wolves, others like lions and tigers, and even some looked like snakes.

Eien started to walk out the door, his creatures following behind him. But suddenly he stopped and without looking at Ven he spoke, "I need you to go help Altid. And don't you two argue! Avarna you need to stay in this room. Your existence isn't supposed to be learned of until tomorrow. We can't have the plan start to early." Avarna nodded and sat in the darkness, as he watched his brother walk away. He glanced at Ven and smiled,"Are you going Ven? Or do you still have another question?"

Eien finally arrived at the prisoner ward. Every soldiers' eye was on him, and each stood in attention. He walked up to one of the soldiers who looked to be about twenty-three and questioned him, "Did you report this breakout to Altid?"

The soldier was surprised and a little fearful that Eien was speaking to him, but he dared not keep him waiting,"Yes Sir! He knows of the situation."

Eien didn't say anything else and continued to walk toward the front of the prisoner ward gate. He felt better knowing it was really Altid who sounded the alarm. Also knowing Takano he probably is already working on this situation. Ven was on her way, so that wasn't on his mind. He knew that Cassius is definitely larking around the area somewhere, so he wouldn't be surprised if he heard a scream or something pretty soon. Ardaleah is on a mission away from the Headquarters so Eien is worried. And Avarna was in his room. That fact was the only thing Eien worried about. He truly hoped no one found Avarna.

Earlier Eien had requested a mic be given to him by a soldier. He was rather impatient, but after a while was finally given the mic. It was hooked up to all the speakers in the building, which he had Takano make and install for him. Once he pressed the button, every single siren was silenced, though the sounds of the people still could be heard and the flashing of the red lights still could be seen.

Without farther hesitation, Eien spoke into the mic, "This is Eien, I want every Prime, Colour, Soldier, Rebel, and whoever else that is in this mix to shut the hell up."

Everything a quiet. Not a sound could be heard throughout the whole building. Eien continued to speak, "Hey, Primes! I don't care what you do or how you do it, just know this. If you get blood all over the walls you will be cleaning it up! Having said that I want no prisoners, as it seems that is what has gotten us into this situation in the first place, so kill them all."

Letting go of the button, the sirens continued. Eien tossed the mic to the soldier beside him, and continued his walk toward the Gate. Once he stood right in front of the gate, his gruesome creations started to surround Eien, low growls escaped their mouth as fresh blood dripped from their mouths. Probably from a foolish rebel who believed he could escape while the others did all the fighting.

Pulling out Kira with his right hand, Eien readied himself. Kicking open the large gate with one push of the leg, a split second of silence filled the air, and the world was still.

Only two words came out of Eien's mouth as he watched all of the rebels that stood in front of him, "Kill them." At the command the shadow creatures ruthlessly attacked the rebels at full force, growling and baring their teeth, as Eien stood in front of the gate watching.

"Ven!" The black haired girl saw as Avarna ran over to her and gave her a hug. Of course, she'd return the embrace, "Evening." She simply said with her regular smile.

Since Avarna was busy pouring over how much she actually visited him at such a late time, Eien had apparently answered her question about the Colours instead, as she anticipated, "Well Altid had captured some rebels and Colours when he was on patrol in Kano. I was going over there, after I came to visit Ava. But somehow Ava found out about the prisoners, and I promised to take him with me to see them as long as he was hidden."

Just the sound of his name sickened her, "That little brat actually caught someone?" Ven asked, a disgusted expression darkening over her refined face. Nevertheless, she decided to drop the chat on Altid and moved on, "Well isn't that lovely? Then you little boys should be careful down there. We wouldn't want anything bad happening to you two, right?" She chuckled a bit, in her own odd way.

"Well, Avarna began, "I wasn't really tired. So I called brother from his meeting. Besides you don't have to worry about people seeing me anymore, cause soon, everyone is going to see me."

The sound of this though, made Ven a bit worried as a slightly concerned frown formed while she asked silently, as if directing her to herself, "What... what does that mean..." She was always anxious for the brother duo, and while she did enjoy teasing them, she was also protective of the two, not wanting any harm to come to them.

She then watched as Avarna suddenly collapsed, and out of pure worry, Ven actually took a step forward, as if she was going to also check if he was alright, just as his brother did. But after that first step, she went no further, despite her worry for what was happening. She tried not to show it on her face, so she got rid of that expression as quickly as possible before asked another question, "What is going on?"

Veneficia shrugged her shoulders, but it wasn't any innocent shrug. One, she had an idea of what was going on, and two, she didn't look like she was in the mood for joking around for the mean time. When things got serious, she knew how to act, "Wish I knew, dear..." She muttered quietly.

"Avarna, what is going on? Read me the emotions!"

"Relief. 'Finally we are free!' Confusion. 'Who let them all out?! Wait is that a Colour?' Complete Fear. 'Run! He's coming! Grey is coming!' It seems we have what they call...a prison break....Red is there."

Just like the way Ven reacted to Altid's name, she did the same at the mentioning of Red. Red was the man, as she presumed, who was trying to get rid of both her saviors, if she knew of the older brother as well. She needed no other reason to dispose of any Colours are being aware of this, 'Anyone trying to kill them will eventually be killed by me.' She scowled to herself.

Just then, lights began to flash, and she knew that her instinct was correct, especially after Avarna confirming this, "So they want to die that badly?" She asked with a bit of a crooked smile covered by her pale hand.

"I need you to go help Altid. And don't you two argue! Avarna you need to stay in this room. Your existence isn't supposed to be learned of until tomorrow. We can't have the plan start to early."

"What?" Ven looked at Eien was he was about to leave, "With Grey?" 'What kind of joke do you think this is?' She wanted to say, but kept herself from saying it. All she did was shut her mouth, and not complain, even though she desperately wanted to. A mere second later, she replaced that vile look with a kind hearted looking smile and said, "Oh don't worry. We won't argue, we'll just attempt to kill each other~ Good luck with your job, Ei." Ven said, calling him by a new nickname for the fun of it.

"Are you going Ven? Or do you still have another question?" Venefica saw Avarna give her a smile while she did the same back to him.

"Well, I'm definitely not going to just stay out of the action, that wouldn't be much fun, now would it?" Ven started for the door, but paused, waving her hand as what appeared to be a lollipop came into her grasp. She then tossed it to Avarna and said, "It may be a while, so there's something I won to give you some company while we're gone." She said and waved as she closed the door behind her.

After a while of searching for the elevator to get to the prisoners' location, she finally found one as she began to head down to their cells while hearing an announcement made by her leader, "This is Eien, I want every Prime, Colour, Soldier, Rebel, and whoever else that is in this mix to shut the hell up. Hey, Primes! I don't care what you do or how you do it, just know this. If you get blood all over the walls you will be cleaning it up! Having said that I want no prisoners, as it seems that is what has gotten us into this situation in the first place, so kill them all."

"Pupu..." Ven let out a small laugh, "It's almost like a game. How fun!" She said, clapping her hands as she finally arrived on the right floor. She began to walk, passing through the cells, some which were empty, and others which seemed to have been deprived open, in an obvious way too, "Already on the run?" She said silently and went quiet to let her ears find the source of the small sounds she could make out.

From out of the shadows, she waved her hand near her thigh and a short, yet beautifully made dagger was being gripped in her left hand, and so she did the same in her right before she was wielding two weapons, "Lets see who I can find first." She said, and after a little more time of listening, she heard a voice in the distance and ran for it.

More running, sprinting, she arrive there in time to find a whole group of people busting out the prisoners. The prisoners had their own outfits, so she knew that those without one would be apart of the Colours, "Just my luck." She grinned. None of the Colours were looking her way, so she had no power over them, for now, but one guard was, and he was further back than the whole group. Any lamb singled out from its herd was the wolf's prey, 'That's the way I work.'

The gaze of the man was on Ven, and she stared right back. From there, she activated her power, which began to break one bone in his body, and once that snapped, he let out a great scream, and right after that, another, before both his legs were broken and he couldn't run or walk, but only lay there in pain, "Fun, isn't it?" She asked, walking up to the man with the sharp weapon in her hand, "I'll end it quickly for you dear." Veneficia smile as she quickly cut his neck.

She then looked around some more, seeing how she lost track of the Colours, and eventually found Altid, who she gave a grunt at seeing, but nevertheless said with a dark expression, "You're late, brat. Hurry up and get to work." She growled, "If you could get them the first time, prove it to me that you're actually a man and get them now. I've already got one kill, and I'm pretty sure I'm far ahead of you." She snickered.

Altid had made his way to the prisoner ward in record time, it was chaos, most of the rooms the rebels were kept in have been emptied and they were ether freeing other or fleeing down the corridor that lead to the main gate. In the midst of all that Altid saw a male rebel running for it, almost making it out of the hallway. He waited for a bit, letting the other pass through the ruined doorway where a metal gate used to stand, he waited for the rebel to feel the freedom, to think he had escaped and then shot him in the leg. He approached the man that was now crawling to his freedom and was about to call a soldier to come and cuff him but a voice, Eien’s voice roamed through the building.

"This is Eien, I want every Prime, Colour, Soldier, Rebel, and whoever else that is in this mix to shut the hell up. Hey, Primes! I don't care what you do or how you do it, just know this. If you get blood all over the walls you will be cleaning it up! Having said that I want no prisoners, as it seems that is what has gotten us into this situation in the first place, so kill them all."

Altid smiled at Eien's words, he lived for moment's like this, it was going to be a gore galore. He turned and started going back inside, the rebels that made it outside will be handled with, he had to go check if that Colour they captured has managed to get herself free.

The wounded man watched as Altid disappeared inside, he let out a breath he was holding and thought how lucky he was, to be spared when the order was kill them all. His happiness didn't last long as he heard Altid laugh and a skeleton like figure appeared next to him. The creature shrieked and attacked the man clawing at his entire body, ripping through it with ease, killing him in a matter of moments.

Sicarius, as the creature was called when he was still alive, appeared by Altid's side soon after. Sicarius was Altid's favourite Soul to summon, they shared love for killing. His skin had long rotted leaving him just a mass of tissue and bones and a cloud of dark green mist surrounded him making his hallow features even creepier. "Go take care of the rest." The creature just nodded at Altid’s words and went in the direction most screams were coming from.

"Fucking, hell." He cursed upon seeing that the cell Blue was supposed to be held in was empty. It was a top security cell, nobody should be able to break out of there. He kicked the door that was now laying on the ground. His yaw twicked and his fists as five more skeletons appeared around him. "Find her and rip her throat out." Altid hissed. While he ran in the direction of the main room, more Souls appeared beside him.

The sight that welcomed him was a one of nightmares. It wasn't the numerous dead bodies, it wasn't the fact that an entire wall and part of the ceiling were now just dust and rumble, it was Black. "You're late, brat. Hurry up and get to work. If you could get them the first time, prove it to me that you're actually a man and get them now. I've already got one kill, and I'm pretty sure I'm far ahead of you." Was the first thing he heard. Not late, I had other things to do. His voice was full of annoyance. Also... when he spoke this time his voice might have gotten an octave higher. Don't flatter yourself, as if you could ever be better than me.

Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Blue, finally he’s gonna be able to kill the bitch. But the girl wasn't alone, another Colour was with her, he smirked as he recognized that the other was Kanade. It’s a shame that we always meet at such inconvenient circumstances. Altid yelled out to her. The grin on his face lasted only a moment. It’s also a shame that this will be the last time we meet. As he finished the sentence a group of the undead surged towards the girls.

Takano Hiroki

Takano smirked at Eiens order. His attack obviously didn't do much if anything at all. It was time to get in the action. Takano typed in his computer to make sure no colour could stride in and hack his computer. Putting on his jacket he strode out the room. It was quieter than before but it was still a bit loud. He could hear Black and Grey arguing but soon Grey's attention was turned to two girls he recognized as.... blue and green. Walking farther into the room there was Orange and Red.

A few rebels decided to try their luck on him. "You've got guts to approach a Prime." Takano smirked. "We've heard about you, Brown. You make people do things from your computer." one of them said.

Raise your left arm. The man's eyes opened wide as his arm moved. Move the gun to your head. After saying All hail Eien shoot the gun. Takano smirked as the man shook in absolute terror as the arm he no longer had controll over raised to his temple. He said the words just as he shot himself. The other two ran, too late however. Kill Red. The men continued running, it was obvious they were completely loyal so the action wouldn't go. Kill each other. The two men stopped, pulled out their guns and shot each other. Wincing Takano grabbed his head.

Kanade Hoshizora

She stood firm though Grey's voice calling out to her made her tremble inside. "Such a shame. It will in fact be the last time we meet. But don't be afraid. You will die in combat, a honorable death." Kanade pressed her hands together and muttered the word summon, a Ak-47 fell out along with ammo as she opened her hands. "Kacey, cover me for a second." Kanade pulled up her eyepatch and stared at Grey, to her dismay she didn't see the past so either the bastard wasn't going to die or he'd take more than a hour to kill. Soon her terror had reason, she saw herself wounded.

"I see you dead at my feet Grey." She hoped that he would fall for it. But knowing him, he wouldn't. But if he hesitated for a moment that is a advantage for her. She continued receiving future, hoping something good would appear.

All I Want

"You brought out the best of me,
A part of me I'd never seen.
You took my soul wiped it clean,
Our love was made for movie screens."

Come on, come on, come on.

Eve stared desperately at the cosmic energy above her, so tangible yet so stupidly out of reach. She could feel, see, the coolness of night curling its eerie fingers under her skin but there was so little of it and not enough time. She wished then, not for the first time, that she could manipulate time. There would be so much she would change but she didn’t have that, so all she could do was do better and protect those she loved.

She could feel the darkness tugging at the weave of her body and soul, loosening it, but she hardly noticed the pain. She was gripped by the fear that once again, she would fail her Colours. Once again, she would be the only one left alive. The lives being lost were like buildings falling on her head. She couldn’t see the deaths – darkness and the hope of moonlight, those were the only two things she saw – but she could feel them. Hear their screams. The bang thump crack of gunshots tossing lives aside.

"Z-z-zzz....ZOMBIES!!!"

The scream tore Eve’s mind away from Eien’s suffocating darkness as her head whipped around, searching for the voice she knew.

"K..KANADE!!"

Kacey.

Panic slithered its way up her throat but it was quickly shoved aside by the protective instinct that made her Red. It was the one thing she’d managed to salvage from Jin. The strength of his she held onto like armor, and what followed it was a rage that was all her own: a red, hot fury that could not be buried.

She dived and pushed into the darkness that surrounded her like a wall and the figures flinched back momentarily, dazed. She was a beacon of red light that zigzagged through the void. The darkness was weary but soon, they crept in, brushing the corners of her mind and sinking in.

“What constellation is that?” Her eyes followed the arch of his arm to the point of his finger. If Eve had it her way, she wouldn’t be looking at the stars but at the sharp lines and gentle slopes of his profile. She loved the sky, but she loved him more.

“Sculptor,” she replied.

“Sculptor,” he repeated with a melodic chuckle at the end. “You know Sculptor’s story?” he asked, the fingers of the hand that rested on the damp grass entwining with hers. She smiled. This was a game of theirs, she would identify the constellations and he would write their stories.

“No. What is it?” she said.

“Once upon a time,” Jin began.

“Wow, that’s creative,” she interrupted before a finger was placed over her lips and a pair of soft grey eyes hovering above her. Her thoughts faded into oblivion. She watched his Adam’s apple bob inches from her lips as he tilted his head and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead before rolling onto his back.

“Once upon a time,” he continued. “There was an artist who was very poor. Everyday he sat by the window of his studio and painted the changing world outside, and every evening he saw the exact same girl sit on the exact same bench. She would stay there long after the sun was down and he would try to wait to see when she left but for some reason, he could never stay up that late, and every morning, when he woke up, she would be gone.

“One evening he decided to approach her. It required a lot of courage because she seemed a lot tsundere,” he said was a cheeky flash of his teeth. Eve rolled her eyes at the reference to her. She wasn’t tsundere, as she’d told him countless times before but Jin believed what he wanted to. “Anyway, he asked her why she sat there every night. She said, ‘I was waiting.’”

He paused.

“’For what?’ the artist asked.”

He didn’t continue.

“And…? What was she waiting for?” she asked, finally. He turned on his side and then braced himself over her, his elbows on either side of her head. He stared deeply into her eyes in the corny way he did, but it worked.

“For you,” he whispered, capturing her lips with his own. Her heart fluttered in her chest. “She said, ‘I was waiting for you.’”

“That’s it?” she asked, incredulous.

“That’s it.”

“That’s so cheesy.”

“I do like pizza with extra cheese,” he said with a solemn nod. She punched him lighting in the chest and he feigned excruciating pain.

“Come on, where’s the rest of the story? How does this relate to Sculptor?” she asked, raising a brow.

“Isn’t it obvious? He’s an artist,” Jin said defiantly.

“Who sculpts,” she finished for him. He nodded. “That’s it?”

“No,” he replied.

“No?”

“No.”

“Well?”

“They fell in love,” he said with a serious nod.

“Yeah, I got that.”

“Then,” he began. “He carved her an ivory pendant shaped like a star within the moon to represent how he would always protect her, hold her, and love her. Always. Not till death did them part, but till the end of the world and beyond.”

“That’s grim,” she said quietly as he opened his closed fist to reveal a thin silver chain, and hanging from it, an ivory pendant of the star in the moon.

“He told her, ‘we don’t have much time left, but Eve, I love you. I love you.’” He held her so tightly she thought her bones might break or maybe that was her heart. “He said, ‘but I’ll watch you. I’ll be one of your constellations. The brightest so you can see me, and even when you can’t, I’m still there. I promise,’” his voice cracked.

“This isn’t real, is it?” she asked quietly, the fingers she hadn’t known had been clenched around his shirt loosening with effort.

“No,” he said after a pause.

“You’re dead,” she breathed, the words barely a whisper. “He killed you.”

“You have to go now, Eve. They still need you.” Jin pulled back reluctantly, holding her shoulder and cupping her cheek in his warm, foolishly real hand.

“I love you,” she said, feeling the tears trickle and sink into his skin that was not there.

“I know, because I will always love you."

The darkness was gone.

She’d sunk to the ground, her body nearly as limp as her heart. Tears pooled at the edge of her mask and she let out a distorted half laugh, half cry, full scream. Eve got to her feet, and then she ran.

“You’re safe, Blue,” she said after firing a glowing, silver arrow into the undead nearest to her. The mask warped her voice, making it genderless, an eerie combination of male and female, emotionless and filled with unveiled cries.

A blazing arrow of moonlight bled into existence from the palm of her hand and she pulled it against the incandescent bow she clutched, aiming the blinding point at Grey’s head.

“Huh, you’re even prettier than the queen now. Eien has a taste for flower boys, I see.”

Eve released the arrow and before anyone had time to blink, she whizzed around and fired another at Veneficia. Neither would kill them, she was sure, because they weren’t meant to. They would shatter and a supernova would blind and stun them momentarily. Just long enough for Kanaede, Kacey and the rebels to get out. Hopefully.

Besides, she couldn’t kill them. They were just deluded followers. It was Eien whom she wanted.

With shut eyes as she leaned against a wall, reloading the gun as well as temporarily treating her wounds as she listened to every word Shou said. "I'll find Eien's office and I'll direct you there. I'm going to head in soon too, but Mayu will be the one to find his hiding spot. I'll probably see you in a minute or two. Find me."

"Right okay." Hei nodded, though she knew the man wouldn't see it. Ripping part of a dead guard's shirt, as disgusting as it was to her, Hei wrapped it tightly around her leg where it ached the most. Next, Hei yanked off her own tee-shirt, happy about wearing a tank top underneath it for once as she used her shirt to wrap her wound on her shoulder.

"Keep the others alive and started heading off that floor. Actually, start heading up the building. I don't think Eien's office would be on the lowest floor."

Limping rapidly to wherever the hell the stairs were in this place, Hei spun around as she hurried her name being called out by that lovely, familiar voice. "Shou!" Hei didn't notice any glances towards her wounds, in fact, she was more content with the fact she wasn't alone at this point.

"Damn it... They're already done this much damage... We've got to hurry up and get out of here. Where are the others?"

"I'm assuming Red is with Kanade and Kacey and facing off against Grey and Black last time I cheeked. As for Elsyia, I have no bloody idea." Hei quickly replied as she didn't even flinch as Shou shot the guard without a second thought.

"You know what, lets get you out of here first. There's no way you're going to be able to get back on your own. Come on, and keep up the pace!" Her eyes meeting his, Hei knew she was in no place to argue, but she couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"If you didn't notice, keeping up the pace is going to be a little hard Shou!" Hei nearly whined as she shook her head. Her limp now fully bothering her, she chose to ignore it as she stumbled after Shou. "Hey, be careful! Your tripping all over the place Shou!" Hei kept her voice to a certain volume to prevent anyone else from hearing them.

"Not late, I had other things to do." Veneficia heard Altid say, a hint of annoyance seeming to linger in her voice which made her smile with contentment at his anger with her. Of course, she hated Grey as well, but she didn't always display her hatred as openly as he did, just to piss him off even further.

"Is that so? You're slow then." Ven said, hearing footsteps behind her and finding another survivor. She turned around, looking at them in their frightened eyes for a moment, but before she could do anything horrible to them, he turned away, the eyesight between the two breaking.

Veneficia scowled at not using her ability quick enough to break one of his knees, at least, so that he wouldn't run away, "Damn it..." She murmured with frustration at this, and with the dagger in her left hand, tossed it swiftly as it hit the man in the back, pinning him to the ground, where he tried to get up before she skipped over and pulled it out, hiding it back into her shadows before leaving him there, kicking him once with her red heels and saying, "Good way of trying to escape, dumb ass."

"Also...Don't flatter yourself, as if you could ever be better than me."

At the sound of this, Ven growled, almost like an animal getting ready to attack its prey. But then she noticed something; Altid's voice squeaked a bit. Her mood suddenly lifted at the thought of this, and while she'd usually be quiet and just say something about it later to annoy him even more, she couldn't help it, "Says the lovely little girl. Please be sure to hold your puberty voice until the battle is over, Altid." She smirked.

But then, Ven heard Altid say something to someone that was close to them, but quite far away also. She looked into the same direction and saw two Colours. The sight of them wasn't very surprising, but rather something Veneficia herself was looking forward to. She couldn't' help but give off a small mischievous smile.

"It’s a shame that we always meet at such inconvenient circumstances. It’s also a shame that this will be the last time we meet."

"Such a shame. It will in fact be the last time we meet. But don't be afraid. You will die in combat, a honorable death. I see you dead at my feet Grey."

"Aw... how sweet~" Veneficia said, glancing at the two, "I never knew that lover quarrels happened during a battle. How interesting!" She laughed a regular laugh, but it was obvious there was a dark and mysterious feel to her, "Well, while the two of you are doing that, should I take my own prey?" She asked, taking a small glance at Kacey, or in other words, blue.

Veneficia made eye contact with Blue, Kacey, and began to activate her ability. She aimed on breaking her leg first, as she always did with all her prey. It made sure they wouldn't be able to run, or at least, that they wouldn't be able to run too fast, but something had interrupted her that made her freeze for a moment, “You’re safe, Blue. Huh, you’re even prettier than the queen now. Eien has a taste for flower boys, I see.”

'Who the hell is that-' Ven began to think before a snap of bright light flashed in the dark prison floor they were on. Black was blinded for a spare moment. She remembered seeing something like an arrow fired at Altid's forehead while one was also fired back at her. Something made Ven tense up at that moment, and she was unable to move.

Veneficia's eyes were blinded for a bit of a long time. She always was able to adjust to the darkness since she had literally lived in it for a quarter, or even half of her whole life. Anything bright, on the other hand, was impossible for Ven to get used to. She then heard running and knew it was the footsteps of her opponents. Now this made her angry and even more frustrated.

She knew their goal, and who they were trying to get to. No one but her and his brother knew that Avarna existed, so there was the final, one and only leader; Eien, "They wouldn't dare to touch him..." She said, allowing her eyes to readjust to the lighting as she got up from the ground, leaning on the wall to the left, "If you do," Ven continued to talk, regardless if the Colours were really there or not, "I'll rip you to pieces." She said seriously, and with the tone she said that in, there was no way she joking.

Ven was always taken as a very calm woman, but when someone dared to try and take away one of her family members, especially if that person were to be one of her saviors, she'd go all out as a legit killer. This was that time. Anyone trying to convince her to take any of the Colours or prisoners alive would be absurd, "I'll kill you all." She said darkly as her eyes finally adjusted as she then broke out into a sprint, or perhaps even a sprint to catch up to the people who had originally tried to get rid of Eien.

Kanade Hoshizora

"Lovers Quarrel." Kanade's eyebrow twitched in agitation at the thought. As of she could ever love anyone like that! Kanade looked over at Kacey, she was fine thanks to Orange. Her vision had been cut short at the interruption unfortunately and she wasn't getting another chance anytime soon so she slid her eye patch back on.

Kanade smirked, "I hope your ready for this." A grin spread across her face as she already began to succumb the insanity, "Grey!" .

Kanade hesitated for a moment, using the sanity that remained. Grey wasn't really a up close fighter as far as she knew but then again he could if he wanted to. Murmuring 'summon', putting her hands together then pulling them apart she received a smoke bomb. She threw it near Grey's feet and jumped in the air well above the smoke from years of training.

She had memorized Grey's position and hoped she'd pull this off. She was headed feet first to where she thought Grey was to knock him down. In her haste she hadn't made sure the smoke didn't obstruct anyone else's view but the smoke bomb wasn't very large honestly and if it did it would go away soon enough with everyone's movements creating wind.

Eien was still standing in front of the gate. He didn't seemed rushed by the turn of events, but rather...curious. At this moment he wouldn't let his thoughts be interrupted by the yelling of the rebels. Few had the courage to stand even close to his presence, but still not one dared to go past him or even stand beside him. Though it wasn't like Eien was going to move, nor did he seem to be paying any attention to their irritating ranting.

All his attention was drawn to one...man? Eien wasn't sure if it was even a he, but that didn't concern him in the least. What truly bothered him was the fact that this man was able to draw almost half of his creations toward him, without Eien commanding them.

Eien knew his creations responded to one thing more than anything, and that was light. They were designed to stuff out the light wherever or whoever it is. But never has Eien seen someone be attacked by so many of his beast...and live.

This frustrated Eien and he demanded to know who that person was. As he was about to enter the mist of the battle. He was stopped by a single rebels, brave enough to stand in his way. Eien stared into his eyes, which were filled with hatred and anger. He knew what he wanted. The man wished to kill him, do unto him as he did to him. His voice was trembling with anger and crude intentions toward Eien,"Y-You...Bastard! Everything is because of you!"

Eien didn't say a word, as he listened to the endless sobs of the man. Eien's eyes were unwavering, unlike the mans, whose eyes seemed to quiver more and more as he realized that Eien truly didn't care. The man pointed a gun at Eien. His hands were unsteady and unfocused. Small tears formed in the eyes of this man,"Do you know what you did?!"

Eien didn't stay silent this time and answered the man,"No." Eien's voice held no concern. It was cold and authoritative. Which made the man more infuriated. Even at gunpoint, Eien still held his prideful manner and bold way of speaking. Though it was only one simple word, it conveyed multiple of meanings. One of them being that Eien doesn't care about what he did or does to anyone.

The man's hands started to quiver even more. Fresh tears dripped from his eyes,"YOU KILLED THEM! MY WIFE! MY CHILDREN! YOU KILLED THEM ALL, WITHOUT A SINGLE SINCE OF REMORSE!" The man stepped closer aiming the gun straight at Eien.

Eien looked into the man's eyes, and was disgusted by the site. His eyes held nothing, but pure determination to kill him. He didn't even look like he was planning on escaping. Eien knew that this man had been planning this. This poor man was ready to die, if it meant being able to get revenge on him.

Eien closed his eyes for a split second. He blocked out all sound around him, and started to recall his memory. Thousands upon thousands of faces flashed through his head. Faces of the ones he killed, down to the very first one. At once he stopped at three faces.

Bloody. Twisted. Smiling.

Eien opened his eyes slowly. Staring at the man who still had a risen gun, Eien smile boldly, "They were a beautiful family."

The man's whole body froze. Lowering the gun an inch downward he stared at Eien with trembling eyes,"...What?"

Eien smiled cruelly at the man,"So trusting and loyal."

The man shook his head,"Y-You."

"It was such a waste of time to kill them. But I couldn't leave them looking so miserable. Especially when they were so deep in despair, when I told them you were dead."

"Lies."

"Your wife was the saddest. Grieving so horribly for you. Saying she no longer wished to live in a world without you."

"Shut up."

"So of course I had to fulfill her wish."

"Stop talking!"

"They didn't even scream. They all died smiling."

"Monster."

A twisted smile formed on Eien's face as he looked at the man, "You call me a Monster. But in reality you are just frustrated in your own incapability to protect the ones you cherished. Am I right"

The man's eyes grew wider as he listened to the words of Eien. They sank in like water. Leaving a horrible feeling inside of him. It was deep and frustrating. The man began to crumble under the weight.

Eien looked down upon the man with scornful eyes. Judgement rang through his voice as he kept speaking, "Do not blame me for their deaths, but instead blame yourself for being unable to protect them!"

"MONSTER!" In that instant the man rose the gun and fired at Eien in full rage.

Swiftly raising Kira Eien slashed at the bullets one by one, not even once did they hit him. He was about to cut down the last bullet, when he was blinded by a bright light. He squinted his eyes, and in that second the bullet pierced through his left arm. The man drooped the gun, as he looked at Eien with complete horror. He couldn't believe he hit him. He could only stare as Eien stood there bleeding.

Altid crossed his hands behind his back and smiled. His undead minions were taking care of everything, they had Kacey and Kanade cornered and had killed at least five or six rebels, he wouldn't even have to lift a fing... Looks like he thought too soon because in the blink of an eye arrows that seemed to be made of light destroyed all the creatures around Blue. And soon enough one of the arrows was pointed at him by a faceless, genderless figure that could only be Red.

"For fuck's sake." He mentally cursed because the hit from the arrow has not only blinded him but made him unable to move and therefore unable to open his mouth to yell out all the curses running through his brain. The fact that a mere Colour could mobilize him so quickly made Altid feel humiliated and no one,no one makes Altid Immitis feel humiliated and get's away with it.

When he finally regained his senses he was met by a thick cloud of smoke that left him disoriented once more. Faintly he heard Kanade say "I hope your ready for this." and as it was said in quite a hateful manner he assumed she was going to charge at him. Of course Grey wouldn't be Gray if he didn't master the art of escaping from a tricky situation. He spun around to where Green's voice was coming from only seeing the contours of her body. "You'll have to try a little harder than that to get me." Kanade was now close enough to properly see him so he smirked and even took the time to wink at the girl before a wall made entirely of the undead appeared between them. Just a moment before the barrier appeared he quickly drew out his gun and shot. As Altid was in a hurry when he dressed he put on the gun belt backwards so now he had to draw the gun with his left hand, seeing as he was right handed the aim in his left hand was quite bad. If he miraculously managed to shoot Kanade the wound would have been just a measly scrape on the shoulder but he didn't have time to worry about that. With the wall still there he ran in the opposite direction.

In these past moments Black managed to disappear into oblivion and he hadn't seen Takano or Cassius in the first place. Where were those two idiots? As much as Altid hated to admit it he couldn't take on three Colours without any backup. As he ran towards a conveniently placed button that alerted all of Seele's army that the Colours have infiltrated the complex he saw the most unlikely sight ever. It was Eien just standing there bleeding as a rebel, who managed to get a weapon from a dead soldier, had him at gunpoint. He wasn't sure it was illusion or reality that he was seeing.

He wrote in the code and pressed the button, another, hopefully better prepared, troop should arrive in a few minutes. With some uncertainty in his movements he took the gun into his right hand. The man in front of Eien dropped his gun and fell to the floor. He couldn't see clearly but it seemed the man he had shot in the abdomen was still alive, laying at Eien's feet.

Kanade Hoshizora

Kanade was approaching closer and closer but was caught off guard, "You'll have to try a little harder than that to get to me.", Grey gave her a smirk accompanied with a wink. He darted off as Kanade hit the ground then jumped back, seeing a army of non-human things made a defensive wall covering Grey. Kanade smirked, the insanity struggling to consume her.

"You bastard you won't get away so easily!" Kanade was faced with these non-human things as she yelled out to grey. Soon a sharp pain distracted her in her leg and brought her back to rational thought. He had the nerve to wink at me! Shit I think I'm bleeding too! Kanade felt her leg, it wasn't anything major but even so it pissed her off. That cocky bastard.

"Blue, a little help." Kanade said, looking for the girl. But realizing she might be on her own she sprung into action, a twisted smile creeping on her face.

"Look it's that girl!" A boy pointed at her. Kanade was sitting in a small alley, relaxing her back on one wall and her feet up on the other. "Get lost kid.", Kanade took a drag on a cigarette and boredly looked at the two small boys. "Why? aren't you lonely?" The boy stepped forward. Kanade sighed, closing her eyes then opened them back up, staring at the boy, receiving his future.

"You will be dragged away by your mom who will later warn you about talking to strangers. She'll tell you about how I'm a freak of nature, a genetic mistake.... a monster. For the time you'll brag to your friends about how you met me and survived. After you got your small fame you'll forget about me." Kanade spoke, the boy stepping back in fear.

"Sora, Claude get away from her!" Their mom came and had to drag the two away due to the boy staring back at her. Kanade gave a small laugh, running a hand through her boy-short grey hair. A grey and black cat jumped on her lap and Kanade smiled softly then petted the cat. "But I'll always have you won't I? Yukari." Kanade said softly.

Kanade wielded the Ak-47 in one hand and the Submarine gun in the other. She shot at the creatures the best she knew how. Throwing one gun in the air she kneed one of them knocking it down then raised her hand to catch the gun. Had these guns been any other weapon she couldn't of performed this feat.

There were still more and more. She knocked one in the head with a gun and shot it with the other. There were three down but more to go, and she wasn't planning on letting Grey get away so easily. Blue needed to hurry. At this rate she wouldn't be in any condition to fight, she was certainly a bit scratched up. "Damn you Grey" . Kanade took down two more and was huffing at the gymnastics she was being required to perform. Dodging under one grotesque claw kicking another and jumping in the air, landing on another. She was breathing hard at this point. Blue...

Kacey saw a woman in black out of the corner of her eye as she ran. She began to feel a tingling in her right leg, but a bright light flashed in the same general area and it went away. Good. No worries yet, but I should probably keep an eye out for more Primes, she thought. Running from hallway to hallway, Kacey searched in vain for...what was she looking for? Her knives could be anywhere, a warehouse, with Brown, or... "Crud. Well, that was moronic," she muttered, skidding to a halt and turning to head in the direction she had come as she realized that they had probably been on one of the soldiers guarding her cell. Why didn't I think of this before? Moron, moron, moron. She sent a telepathic message to Kanade: I screwed up. I'll be back in a minute to see what I can do. If you can find my knives, that would speed things up. Thanks.

Kanade Hoshizora

Kanade nodded, getting the message from Kacey, but suddenly she stopped cold in her tracks at the words that came from Red's mouth, she was going to give up a colour? What if they don't want Red? What if they want Orange, or Pink or Yellow or Blue or even me... Green. Impossible, they couldn't possibly take one of us. Red is supposed to be the strongest and If they took anyone...

Kanade rushed by Red's side, or attempted to. She was stopped by those pesky things Grey left, luckily there was only one remaining. Kanade quickly finished it and then ran to Red. This was the woman who saved her, who protected her. She was Kanade's home along with the rest of the colours. Red couldn't leave, she simply couldn't. If Red left Kanade was sure everyone else as loyal as her would risk their lives trying to save her. If it came to it, Kanade would become a Prime to protect her.

"No. Red! Please, we can escape! Don't-!" . Kanade was unusually emotional and at a loss for words. Had it been anyone else she probably would of told them they were a coward for giving up so easily. But Red couldn't go. She didn't want any of the colours to go either. "Red," Kanade had calmed herself down by now, "Any Colour they take, I won't abandon. That's a promise." Kanade gave a cold look to Red.

A soldier fights for honor and home. People who abandon these things are trash. I understand the situation you're in Red, you're responsible for every death. But even so, I refuse to abandon my fellow colours, and my family!

Takano Hiroki

Takano smirked at a rebel, he was shouting at Takano. "That bastard Eien stole my family! He's evil! He's brainwashing you!". "Is that so?" Takano let out a small laugh. Suddenly his eyes were sharp and smirk was a frown. "Nobody is allowed to talk about Eien like that. Suffer a miserable death! Damn idiot, I joined of my own free will. Wind grow sharp and tear this man to shreds!"

The man was instantly cut up, screaming in agony. He ran in circles, foolishly trying to escape the wind. Takano decided to move onto bigger prey, a colour. The first person that caught his eye was green. She assumed that she was Grey's to handle and moved on. Blue was running away and chasing after her would be too much work for someone he didn't recognize as a worthy opponent. Orange was his next thought since Pink and Yellow we're nowhere to be found.

He didn't get the chance to do anything before he'd noticed Eien Grey and Red. Leader's a big boy, he can handle it. Besides he has Grey with him. "Let the Rebels and my Colours go, and you can have any one Colour of your choice. You can have me." Any Color, including her? If we were being practical she's not the best Idea, if the colour's are as loyal to her as we are to Leader then- "No Red! Please, we can escape!.........Red. Any Colour they take I won't abandon. That's a promise." Kanade confirmed Takano's thoughts.

They won't let Eien take a their leader sitting down. I can respect that. But I wonder, if Red ordered her to stand back would she? Well, would I stand back as Eien or Ven were being taken even if Eien ordered me to. Eien's word is law but.... The point is that Red wouldn't be the best idea of any colour... I doubt that fighting spirit will go so easily, besides, the Colours wouldn't let her just go. Orange, Blue, Green, Pink Yellow... we already have me so Yellow isn't necessary besides she'd just be closer to my computers. If we were to pick the strongest out of the remaining it would be between Green and Orange, I haven't seen Blue fight once and Pinks power is... But Green would try to escape inevitebly and I'm sure her and Grey would get annoying after a while. But then again Orange would rebel too.

It's all up to Eien now... if he even takes one. And Eien might just kill the person if she's not useful.

"Well, I'm definitely not going to just stay out of the action, that wouldn't be much fun, now would it?" Ava smiled happily. He knew that Ven wasn't one to sit and watch, unlike him,who could do nothing but wait. This made Ava feel a ting of sadness. Maybe Ven had noticed, or maybe not. But anyway she had paused before exiting the door and faced Ava holding a lollipop.

Ava caught the lollipop, which Ven had tossed over to him. A small smile formed on his face as he looked at it. "It may be a while, so there's something I won to give you some company while we're gone." She said and waved as she closed the door behind her.

There Ava was left in the darkness of his room. He knew that he would be in here for a while so he at least thought he should do something. But what was there to do in an this room? Once Ava had actually thought about it, he hasn't been outside lately, "Maybe...if just for little while... I could -"

Ava was about to exit the room, even though it was forbidden. Still it wasn't going to be for a long time, he just wanted to look around. But before Ava could open the door all the way, he was stopped by two of Eien's creatures. Ava couldn't help, but laugh at this little surprise. "Eien must really not want me outside." He had almost made it out. The door was half open, but of course he wouldn't have succeeded...I never do.

Ava looked at the eyes of the two beasts, who seemed to be hesitant toward him. He chuckled at the fact that they had some sense of awareness. Ava knew he shouldn't fight with them,as it would only cause more trouble for Eien. Walking away he sat himself upon his bed. Letting his body flop down lifelessly, he came in contact with the soft fabric of his sheets.

The moon shone brightly on his body, and Ava couldn't help but stare up at its beauty. So pure and white. Something he no longer was. Ava stuck the candy he got from Ven in his pocket, as he just didn't have the heart to eat anything. There he laid on his bed, and watched the moon shine.

Out of nowhere, Avarna felt a sudden stab in his shoulder. Wincing softly he touched the place where he felt the most pain. Once he touched it, he was surprised to feel nothing. Though it hurt, there was no blood or any physical wound to be found.

So is it emotional?

Ava wasn't sure what to think at the moment. He only has an emotional connection toward One person, and that was Eien. So was Eien hurt?

”That’s impossible.” There wasn't anyway Eien could get hurt, and in such a place too. He was too fast. But what if he did?

Ava felt a very uncomfortable feeling over take him. It was a rare feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time: Fear. Ava shivered at using the word to describe his own emotions. It was fine if others had the emotion, but he hated it when he felt it too.

Ava wished he could exit this room, but even if he wanted to he couldn't. Eien had told him to stay inside, and besides by the time he gets over there the monsters would have stopped him. Ava cursed the fact that his little brother had done this, but he couldn't erase the past. But still he had to get out. He had to make sure Eien was fine.

Ava had gotten out of bed, and soon started pacing the perimeter of his large room. Unexpectedly he paused after hearing a small sound outside. Ava stood still. Facing the door, he listened closely to what was outside. He felt something coming. It wasn't big, but it wasn't human either.

The whole room was covered in darkness, the only source of light was the red warning lights, that only flashed once every other second. The once beautiful moon, was hidden behind hideous grey clouds in fear.

It's impossible. No one would be so high up in the building, this was the top floor, and besides the only people who knew of this rooms existence was Eien and Ven. So how could anyone find it?

Ava froze to the sound of footsteps ending at his door. The two shadows around him, started to growl lowly. He hushed them with his finger and then backed away slightly from the door.

Ava was nervous. Why? Because whatever was out there had no emotion at the moment, so he had no idea what it was. Ava backed away from the door as he could hear the movements from outside. He hid in the darkness with his brother’s monsters, awaiting whatever was coming.[/color]

Hei couldn't help but shake her own head as she continued to follow behind the taller, older man. He was just a positive person, no matter the situation. Of course, after she 'whined', as she would call it, about not being able to keep up with Shou's pace, she tilted her head as he turned around to observe her before coming over to her and bending down slightly.

"Get on."

Sure, Hei was being a slow poke, but was she really that slow that he wanted to carry her on his back? Just as the girl was about to open, then shut her mouth, he had picked her up in his arms, her face now a bright red. "O-Oi!" Hei squeaked, cursing the fact she most likely did look like a small child in his arms.

"No arguing, kid. We've got to find Eien." Hearing him let out a small snicker only gained him a pouting girl within his arms, cheeks puffed out and all before she began to hold onto him, not wanting to be dropped by his constant stumbling from his multitasking. Now though, she had to admit, they were going faster then when she was limping.

Allowing herself to be shush as she held in her breathe, only releasing once he began to move once more, mumbling a light "I know."

It was a few more minutes afterwards, Hei's eyes darted upwards to look up towards Shou as he spoke. "Damn it, I'm finding nothing."

"It has to be somewh- Whoa!" Hei's head bobbed a bit harder then normal, her hands gripping the fabric of his shirt to make sure she would bring him down with her as he nearly tripped over the dead body.

"Gah- Sorry!" It was clear the apology was to both, the brutally massacred man to Hei.

"It's fine, it's not like you dropped me down the stairs... You won't drop me down the stairs right?" Hei lightly teased, releasing her death grip on Shou's shirt. When he stopped in his track though, Hei began to squirm in order to sit up in his arms, knowing he had found something just by the way he was focusing on what she believed to be Mayu. Her eyes widened as his soft, quiet voice.

"Scratch that... I found someone."

Not a word came from Hei's mouth as she stared at Shou, his slow pace and heavy breathing only made her anxious to know what, or who he found. Was it really Eien? Or maybe another rebel? No, no rebel would be up here of all places. They'd be escaping... So who was it exactly? Eien didn't seem to be one to be a coward, but maybe her assumptions were wrong this time... But wait, wasn't Eien spotted out by the front gate? So many possibilities had flooded into her head as she was snapped out of it by Shou's grumble.

"Tch. Just like the coward he really is, he's hiding in his room." That smirk of his said he was confident in what he saw all on it's own. For now, she'd give Shou the benefit of the doubt, but if it wasn't Eien, what then? Pushing it aside, Hei didn't even bother to open her mouth. "I'm going to speed it up! I may have just found the person we're looking for!" Hei nodded, her eyes locked ahead of them. The determination in her eyes mixing with the curiosity of her own doubts.

Once they had arrived in a few minutes to the elevator, Hei paid the now dead guard no mind as Shou set her down. As he turned around to look at her once the door was shut, she was busy tightening the pieces of clothe around her wounds. "We can come back for the others, if we could possibly find them, but right now, we have to get rid of Eien. He's the core of all this trouble, so in the mean time, lets just head there first."

"But what if it is not Eien?" It was better to bring up doubts right now then when their at the man's door. It was two against one, and that man... He killed her brother, as well as thirteen of the original colors without even having to break out in a sweat. "... Man..." Hei let out a loud sigh as she stood up, finally on their desired floor as the elevator door opened up. The floor level was oddly quiet with the occasional red light. It was as if there was something hidden up here, something that they didn't want anyone else to find out.

Looking over to Shou with concerned eyes, she tried her best to convey what she suspected with no words. Who knew what was up here with that guy Shou had spotted, but they were about to find out. Every step they made echoed, and the stoic expression on her face, as well as her black pistol being pulled out, spelt out she was now fully aware of her surroundings, her eyes a lit up orange color as she listened for anything within the rooms, eventually spotting the door that was open just a bit.

Once the pair was outside the door, that's when she heard the soft growls on the other side before it went quiet. Still, it oddly didn't strike a twinge of fear like it normally would of. She was calm, for once. She was the co-leader of the Colors, and right now was not the time to freeze and back out like a scared child. She needed to find out who that was on the other side of that door.

By the time Cassius had made his way to where he had previously heard the voices of Altid and Veneficia, as well as what he could assume to be three other voices, two female and one genderless mess, they all seemed to have moved outside towards the front gate. What was the large fuss about though? Jogging at this point, stepping on the dead bodies that were in his path, Cassius quickly made it to the outside world with a frown at the sight. A girl, getting ready to slice at Altid's throat, Eien being shot, a teammate to who he could assume was Red telling the genderless figure she wouldn't leave regardless of what occurred... Wait, had this known figure of resistance... Just offered up his own?

Just hearing about that caused Cassius to struggle to swallow down his urge to smile. This was no matter to smile about when Eien was bleeding. The more he focused on the blood, and how the man with the gun was still on his knees, breathing, the more Cassius began to slowly enrage himself, yet he refused to let it take the better of him. Still just as stoic as before, he let the ground rumble directly under Altid, in his own way to alert the man of the girl, Blue; if Cassius had to assume, behind him. Cassius then turned to stare directly at Eien now, not wanting to say a word at this very moment, and instead leaned against the wall of the building. It was always better to observe in these moments... There was Blue as he was assuming, Green, and Red. Where in the world were the other three though?

Eien let his blade fall to the ground with a thud. He stood there in utter shock,or rather he just didn't know how to take this situation. He only had to glance at his arm once to notice the hole located on it. He could feel the bullet, which was still inside his arm.

Before Eien could think any farther about the situation, his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of another alarm. He sent a slight glance at Altid, who looked more surprised than him. Altid, with swift movements, pulled out his gun and shot at the man. The rebel let the gun slip through his fingers and fell to the floor bleeding.

Eien looked down at the man, who was right before his feet. Eien didn't have time to think, as once again he was halted. This time by a single voice, "STOP!"

The person's cry pierced through the darkness like a sprint of light. Eien watched as Red's glowing body dashed towards the fallen man, impossibly fast. With no movement he watched, Red clutch the bleeding man toward her chest, gently cradling his wounded body as her light seemed to encompass him. Eien could feel her fierce gaze on him.

"Stop", she enunciated softly. A swirl of silver and gold light spun around her and the rebel she protected, the rebel who was bleeding to death in her hands. Eien didn't move. He watched quietly, a familiar feeling overtook him. He couldn't help but feel as if this whole thing happened before. But where?

"They're nothing to you." Pulled from his thoughts. Eien stared at Red, his eyes held no emotion.

"Just a bunch of pesky rebels you don't need or want to... Waste your time on," Each word was said carefully, making them sink even deeper. A small smirk formed on Eien's face. But it held a hint of despair rather then pride. Red had moved closer toward Eien, but he kept still waiting for her to continue.

"We won't put up a fight, you won't have any more ugly holes in your ceiling or blood stains on your plush carpets," she said dryly. "Let the rebels and my Colours go, and you can have any one Colour of your choice. You can have me." Eien didn't say a word. His expression couldn't be seen anymore as he had his whole head downward, not in shame, but rather as if he was in deep thought. Before he could answer he was once again stopped by yet another color, Green.

"No. Red! Please, we can escape! Don't-!"

"Red. Any Colour they take, I won't abandon. That's a promise."

Eien continued to have his head down. What beautiful words everyone was saying. Sweet, Beautiful, Pitiful words. Eien's whole body started to shake, then a loud laugh erupted that echoed across the entire prison. It was dry and forced, and if it wasn't for the bullet in his arm, Eien would have fallen over.

His laughter only lasted a short minute, before Eien' s attention turned toward the soldiers behind him. Silently he gazed at each one with a serious expression. His eyes stopped on a single soldier, who held a small knife, "Give me the knife."

Eien's expression was calm, but it hid something sinister. This scared the soldier as he hasn't seen Eien this way before. He was hesitant to hand him the knife, but broke down after noticing Eien's cold gaze on him. He handed the knife to Eien, and in return he gave the soldier a slow nod, "Thank you."

Without farther words Eien walked toward an open flame, which was sitting on a torch attached to the wall. Lifting up the knife he heated it in the flame. Once Eien was sure the knife was hot enough, he jabbed the knife into his wound making a spine tingling noise.

Everyone was in shock at this bold and insane move, only being able to stand and watch him. Seconds, which felt like minutes, passed until the small bullet popped out of his wound, and onto the ground below. Once spotting the bullet Eien dropped the bloody knife beside it.

A stream of blood dripped from his worsening wound, and even though it looked unbearably painful, Eien's face showed nothing but a simple smile. His gaze focused on Red and the dying man in her arms, and with no words he walked toward the two.

It was in the blink of an eye, leaving no one the chance to take in the situation. It was to fast and quick. Without a single warning Eien had taken up Kira in his right hand, and cut off the rebel's head in cold blood. The color of crimson splattered everywhere covering Eien, Red, and the others who were near the incident. All rebels in the room could read the atmosphere, and one by one they all ran outside with the others, escaping from the prison. No one was left, but the Colours, a few soldiers, and the Primes.

"You are right, Red. They are nothing to me. Just a bunch of pesky rebels I don't need or want to spend my time on. Including that one with no head." Despite his expressionless face, his word's had a hint of delight in them.

"You know, before this whole incident started I thought you would be an interesting opponent...but it seems I gave you to much credit." He let out a sigh as he twirled Kira around in a circle. The guards beside him were very cautious, as to not get hit by the twirling blade.

"Maybe it is my fault for believing a child could be entertaining." Eien pointed the blade at Red's forehead, but slowly lowered the weapon. "You call yourself a leader? What I see is a coward, who can't protect anyone. Do you really believe by offering up your life, that it would solve this whole problem? If you take the punishment for another person that would be enough? What blind foolishness. You're just like a new born child. Helpless and naive about the situation before you." Eien's eyes were unwavering as he stared at Red.

"Let me give you some advice Little Red. Instead of trying to shoulder the mistakes of the people around you, start letting them take responsibility for their actions. You can't safe everyone." Eien turned his attention to the soldier who handed him the knife, "Tell the soldiers outside to let the Rebels pass, and that their Colours are leaving with them also."

The soldier nodded and raced outside, announcing the news. Eien turned to Red once again, "So Little Red. You may leave now. Or do you wish for more people to die? If it was me I would take this opportunity to save yourself and the rest of the Rebels and Colours. Now go. Go while I'm showing you mercy."

"But what if it is not Eien?" Shou heard Hei ask during their ride up the elevator.

Shou only shrugged and said, "Everyone makes their own mistakes, I guess that'll be one of my own." He said, stretching his arm as he felt the elevator reaching their destination, "Lets just hope it is, and hope that we could kill him before he kills us. That'd be pretty bad, wouldn't it." He laughed a little, but anyone could tell he was pretty uncertain about his decision.

After all, he had the choice to go back down to the prison floor and find the other Colours, who were probably in a lot of trouble, but out of his own selfishness, which no one seemed to suspect, he chose to come back for them when it was over, if he could finish it all off, 'If only that could happen...' He thought to himself before seeing Hei stand after she wrapped her wounds. The elevator stopped and the doors opened.

"Yeah." Shou said, recognizing the hallway, "This is the right one. Come on, I'll get us there. Keep an eye out for anyone else headed this way and stay quiet. I'd rather sneak up on Eien than to run in there with him knowing our presence." He said and proceeded slowly and cautiously. He took note to Hei's injuries, so he kept his pace slow and went a little bit in front of her just incase any threat would come up.

He always knew that the injured had to take safety priority first. No matter how selfish Shou was, he always stuck to this rule.

He covered up his right eye, now seeing two different perspectives; one being that of a small doll sitting in a room with a white haired man, and another being his own eyes. He began to stumble again, but because of how slow he was going, Shou made sure he wouldn't cause my disturbances.

"That door..." Shou said, removing his hand from his eye and pointing to the door near the end of the hallway. He was certain that the door he saw was that one, and so he made his way towards there.

"Oh wait, where do you two think you're going?" A soft voice called from behind Hei and Shou.

The blonde haired man stopped in his footsteps, almost immediately. He even held his breath, without knowing, as he turned his head around. Before the two was a woman with curled black hair. It was obvious that she wasn't normal, and it was obvious that she was a Prime.

Shou growled a bit as he muttered, "Black..."

"So you know of me?" Veneficia asked, a normal smile on her face as she said sweetly, "That's nice, isn't it? Should I give you a treat like the dogs you poor creatures are?" She asked, now having a sorrowful look on her face, but it was clear that the woman had no pity in her eyes. Despite this look, she actually looked like she had a burning hatred, for something, or maybe someone.

Shou glanced back at the door, making a signal to Hei, behind his back, for her to get to the door. If both of them stayed outside, they'd be wasting too much time. But then again, Hei was injured. Still, he had to know who was in there, "At least look inside. Contact me through your mic and get outside. I have a feeling this isn't going to be too pretty if you stay too long."

Veneficia saw his quick look towards the door and she knew who was in there. They probably didn't and suspected it was someone else. Still, she couldn't, and wouldn't let anyone inside. Her expression grew hard as she said, "I won't let you go in there. If you try grabbing for the door, I'll break your arm, understand?" She asked, a dark smile on her face.

"Just go," He whispered to Hei, "As long as I keep this little animal under control she shouldn't be able to get to you. Alright, hurry up." Shou said, giving her a small push back as he pulled out one of his pistols and said, this time to the Prime, "I've always wanted to kill a Prime. Has the time finally come?"

"I'm the same." Veneficia said, "But I've always wanted to kill one of you pathetic Colours. I'm afraid I'll be granting my wish today though, so yours will have to wait for your next life time." She said, focusing her eyes on his, but deciding it'd be no fun like that, so she took out a dagger instead, and began to twirl it in her hand, "Are you ready dear?"
