Introduction
So what is the game, exactly? Well, online, you take over a form of transportation (bus, train, airplane) and you kidnap ten of the riders, five for each team. There is a leader, two soldiers, a brain and a pawn on every team, and when it is their turn, they are pulled forward by their controller. Each victim wears a bluetooth earpiece and a shock collar in case they disobey. The controller with the most living players at the end of the game, wins. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, that's not what's going on now. Now, two twenty-something brothers have kidnapped ten teenagers from the local high school to compete in the game. Combat: The Game of Survival is going to be very real for these ten students, whether they be community college kids or high school students.
One sunny day in the middle of spring, right when school is about to end for the year, and kids were getting ready for final exams, a group of students were on the bus home. They'd made a few stops already, and the bus driver was driving down a particularly long stretch of road between two stops. There were 10 students still to be dropped off, some from the local community college, others from the high school. Suddenly, the bus driver stopped; there was a car broken down at the side of the road. He, being a kind older gentlemen, stopped to ask if he could help them at all. The first man seen was not wearing a mask and therefore, was thought to be trustworthy. As second man in a gas mask entered the bus and shot the driver in the leg while the first man put on his own gas mask.
The bus driver was ordered to drive, all cell phones were taken and dumped on the side of the road, and the students were kept in control by one brother while the other told the driver where to take them. It was an hours drive before they finally stopped and shot the bus driver in the head. The students were taken outside of the bus and shock collars, bluetooth devices, and cameras were attached to them. Then, the boys took turns picking players. Who will live and who will die? That is the ultimate question.
Well, in the actual game there really is only one rule: follow the rules of your controller. Other than that, there really are no rules. If you want to live, you listen to your controller. If you want to die...well you don't. You keep to your teams, and you don't try and betray your controller. Trust me, they'll know. In the actual gameplay, you are allowed to do anything when your controller takes a break. However, everything is recorded, so don't try any funny business. Romance is allowed, hell it's encouraged. It'll make everything more interesting. But there will only be a few survivors.
These are my rules, however:
1) No godmodding. No one is invincible. Your character probably will die.
2) Posts are at least a good paragraph. I don't want a novel, but I will not accept one lines.
3) 2 characters per player, please. Two males, one male or one female, but NOT TWO FEMALES. It's to hard to fill male roles and I will not allow people to have two females unless those are the only characters left.
4) Character skeleton is up to you, but make it pretty
5) Reservations will last 48 hours. If you need more time, I understand, but please just ask.
6) I understand that real life gets in the way, so you only have to post once a week. You can post more, but I only require once a week. If you can't do that, let me know.
7) Have fun. This is meant to be interesting.
