Introduction

The universes of Marvel and DC, the cities of Manhattan and Gotham, the characters of Iron Man and Green Latern have until now, been kept to their respective narratives. One comic book collector: Bryan Dailies, having just collected the last of every Marvel and DC edition, has spilled a respectable quantity of water onto the collection causing the ink of every intricate story seep into the next; creating a world where all beloved and hated characters join together in a complex collaboration of superhero/super villain action. It is a player’s duty to control their slightly warped (or true to fiction) versions of their favorite characters, to either protect, destroy or take over the known world(s).

Image

[How You Can Warp Your Character]
1. Create an anime interpretation of him or her (You don’t have to however but I am! :D)
2. Make a male; female, a female; male. (For people who like certain powers of some characters, but prefer a certain gender)
3. Make a bad guy into a good guy, or vise versa
4. You May, however change the characters alter-ego

You May Not
1. Change the character’s personality
2. Back Story (However you can change their current story to make them on the opposite side)
3. Their Powers and Limitations

Rules and Laws
1. No Godmodding (By both interpretations of the word. You may not control another's character and your character must have physical limits. Yeah, they are superheroes, but Superman, if you're subject to kryptonite, you'd better have some kind of reaction! :P)
2. No Duplicates (I know - This rule is kinda sucky because I'd like to see both a male and female Joker, alas such is the way of roleplay! And try to create diversity among your fellow characters, for example. I'd be really sad to see the whole cast of X-Men, but not a single member of the Justice League)
3. No OOC speaking while under activity (I highly discourage fighting anywhere. Private Messages if you must, but I'd rather avoid it altogether!)
4. Be descriptive, I like thoroughness and long paragraphs.
5. Don’t get to explicit or vulgar, but it isn’t necessarily PG-13

[Character Submission]

Chacacter:
Gender:
Moral Division (Is she/he good or bad):
Theme Song:
Appearance:
Alter Ego Appearance:
Personality (You can just extract this from Wikipedia if it pleases you, but I like to hear from you^^)
Story Changes:
Likes/Dislikes/Quirks:
Anything and Everything Else:
I omitted a section for powers and limitations, as most of us are probably somewhat familiar with at least that, but if you have a lesser known character (or even a well known character) I don't discourage putting those in if you see fit. :D

This roleplay is not meant to follow the stories of the comics exactly. It is an alternate reality where nearly anything goes! Roleplay is about originality, so be creative with your character designs! It’s something I personally encourage! I cannot stress this enough: Do NOT get upset if people aren’t following the role exactly, if you are prone to do so, please leave now!

The GM of this roleplay hasn't created any rules! You can do whatever you like!

Batman retracted the wire that ran from his vehicle to the building, the cross forces dragging him to his destination. Before impact, Batman kicked into the window below and he steadied himself on the ledge. A leather hand grasped for traction on the sixteenth floor of the building, maneuvering around the shards of glass created by the penetration of his equipment. Pulling himself up with only upper arm strength he was met face to face with a masked crusader.

Sitting in a crouched defensive stance he gestured to the other as he stabled himself from the edge, β€œDon’t move.” He growled through a disguised voice. Until he was had figured out the morality of the opposite, he would not let his guard down, β€œWho the hell are you?” Having caught glimpse of three unconscious officers the floor below, he was quick to identify t this person as a villain.

Above, he heard a clamor and came to the conclusion that he lacked the time for questions at the risk of losing trail of the culprit. Bruce immediately took the offensive. He advanced toward his opponent, thrusting a punch that would knock a normal person cold on impact. He could incapacitate the villain for the time being, and continue his interrogation after apprehending the robber on the rooftop.

To Rorschach's surprise, a man pulled himself up, dressed as, of all things, a bat. He looked intimidating.
β€œDon't move! Who the hell are you?”

The masked man said in a growling, disguised voice. Rorschach was reminded of her old male voice. She was about to answer, when the man rushed at her, throwing a punch right at her face. Despite herself, Rorschach barely had the time to sidestep the fist. The man was much bigger than her, but was clearly far slower. Rorschach took a few steps back, and growled from behind her mask. Her voice was less gravelly than it used to be, obviously feminine, but it would have to do. "Rorschach." She introduced herself, positioning herself as not interested in fighting. "Here to catch robber. On roof." She gazed up at the man, the blots on her mask shifting again, then spoke up again. "Come, if you want."
With that, she turned to the door to the stairwell, and kicked it in. She glanced back to the man as she walked up the stairs. He reminded her of Nite Owl, though obviously older and larger.

Now taking interest in the man dressed like a bat who pulled up in a bat car, Eddie followed the hero with his eyes, only to see the guy get in a confrontation with a figure a bit smaller then him. He was even more intrigued then ever and shot a tendril across to the same building as they were in. He watch from the broken window while he was attached to the side of the building. But in his disappointment, the character in the drench coat was not interested in fighting. But Eddie heard that the villain was up on the roof. This was his chance to proof that he was better than spider-man. He shot a tendril up to the top of the building and pulled himself up quickly. "Stop thief!" he yelled at the figure on the roof readying to catch the guy in a tendril if he began to run

Kurt swallowed. That gun looked rather large. A hit from that would be really bad. His smile slid off of his face and was quickly replaced with a frown. His yellow narrowed. No matter how many times this situation happens to me, it never gets any easier. He licked his lips, mind racing on how to diffuse the situation. Blanks flew up where ideas should be. Panic rose in his throat, as well as bile, but nothing showed outwardly. He decided upon buying time for himself, as that seemed to be an easy solution. He hoped his sudden movements wouldn't make her fire the gun. It's out of my hands either way. Moving in the chair so he was now squatting, Kurt exhaled slowly.

He twisted and flipped into the air, standing on it by his feet. Nightcrawler paced the length of the ceiling, keeping a very close eye on Harley's gun. "You're interested in me, yes? How I can do what I do? What I'm doing now? How I got here? That IS on your mind is it not?", he said calmly. Stepping over the doorframe, he entered the kitchen, retrieved a bottle of water from the fridge, and came back to the main room. "Did you know I can do this too?" Dropping the water, Kurt allowed the bottle to almost hit the floor before he unwound his tail and grabbed it. The opening of the bottle was the only song in the room. It made things... tense. Moving to the wall, he drank deeply from the bottle. "Now Doc, do you have any questions?"

The Joker watched this show of nice tricks with fascination. He lowered Harley's gun with the hand he had stroked her with. "Now now, before answering her questions, shouldn't you answer mine? I don't like being ignored, you may find that I'm more dangerous than Harley's gun when angered." his purple eyes glinted with a hint of the anger that he already felt at being ignored in the first place. The only reason he wasn't letting Harley blow this freak away was because....well because he was a freak, and interested the Joker greatly. "So I ask again, why have you so rudely intruded upon us in such a way? Don't make me ask a third time." his eyes narrowed dangerously eyes showing more anger now. If the creature didn't answer him, then the creature was of no use to him, neat tricks or not.

Nightcrawler frowned. This... woman is starting to get on my nerves. This is going to get me nowhere. Might as well leave now. Chugging the rest of the water bottle, he crunched it with his tail and tossed it into the kitchen. It clattered around before settling finally. Silence quickly filled the room. A tense silence, where all the occupants were poised for action. He walked off of the wall, pausing by a writing table. Kurt turned slightly, blocking his hands from view. "Well, madam, lets just say I'm simply interested in the good doctor. Her reaction at the asylum, rather, her lack of a reaction, piqued my curiosity." Turning back, Kurt hid a letter opener up his sleeve. "The way she didn't even seem to be phased that one of her colleagues was unceremoniously dropped on a table covered in glass lab equipment made me want to know why. Most people would've been terrified, but she wasn't. And I respect that, and I want to know more about it."

Kurt turns back, looking them over with his golden eyes. An evil grin split his face, and he turned to face them fully. His hands were grasped behind his back, holding the letter opener. "But, it seems that you two... *ahem* ...gals are quite busy with something. So I'll let you get back to your intimate time." Another pause filled the room. And then the silence was shattered, but by Nightcrawler's feet and not his words. He dove forward, throwing the letter opener at Harley's hand with the gun. "Catch me later!", he taunted. Before he ran into them and the couch, he disappeared in the blue cloud and smoke. The sound of air rushing to fill the void he left was all he left behind.

Zatanna

She was shocked by the changes.. Granted she hadn't stayed in Gotham in such a long time, but this was amazing. This change into this merged world was taking its tole on her body though. Something had happened in that merge that wasn't quite right, she could feel it deep in her bones. Yeah, but this might turn out to be a bit more fun then she originally thought. Just think of all the new people she could amaze with her show for one. Two, well, The world they had merged with who knew what it contained. But not many people would understand what was happening so there might be a bit of chaos. That was a down side, but it could still be interesting.

In all truth if it hadn't been for her own affinity for magic she'd be just as dumb about what was going on as most of the people around her. Another point for having magical abilities. She smirked slightly as she walked down the dark streets. She had decided to leave her stage costume behind. While it fit her personality it was a bit much for a midnight stroll. Instead she had worn a black off the shoulder blouse with long sleeves cut up to her shoulders showing her arms. She had also decides to simply wear jeans and a pair of heals about three inches high. This brought her up to a height of about 5'10, not bad if you asked her. She also replaced her top hat with a black cap.

Zatanna was keeping an eye open for anything going on. But it was just her luck that she found nothing. No men jumping from one building to another and no one causing any trouble. Well were was something to do when you needed it. She pulled her cap off and reached in. She placed her hand inside then her wrist and some how kept going till she was up to her elbow. She was muttering about how she needed to stop misplacing things as she treated that hat like it was her purse. After a moment her face once again smiled as she found what she had been looking for. β€œAh ha!” Slowly she pulled out her wand and then placed her cap back on. It was time to start a show..

The Joker's body reacted without him having to think about it. His hand moved, the letter opener piercing his skin. He winced at the pain, but otherwise acted calm, as if his hand wasn't bleeding and sore. He looked around the room, ready to kill that blue spit of a creep if he was still around. The blue man was no where to be seen however, he had used his little trick to leave the penthouse completely. Well, he answered my question....and I don't like the answer. He finally looked at his hand with a slightly bemused expression, like he was just now realizing that he was hurt. I don't like that he tried to injure my precious Harley either. He clenched his hand, causing the letter opener to cut him a little more. I don't like it one bit.

Hawkeye acknowledged Gambit with a simple, "Why yes I am enjoying the view." Hawkeye turned around from the view of the city and studied Gambit. From the way Gambit looked, he was probably in it for the money, just like Hawkeye. The purple clad thief thought this might be the beginning of a beautiful partnership in crime. Hawkeye extended a hand for a handshake. He was happy that he found someone that might enjoy Hawkeye's company.

That was until a black clad super being threatened him. Hawkeye chuckled, "Thief is such an ugly word. I prefer the term bandit. It means almost the same thing, but it does not sound as bad to me." Hawkeye was not threatened at all by Eddie. The archer pulled out an arrow from his quiver. The tip had an adhesive on it, and a charge attached to it. No this wasn't an explosive charge, this was a flash bang charge. He notched it and aimed it a few feet away from Eddie's feet. He looked to Gambit, "You might want to cover your eyes." He unleashed the arrow and it hit where it was aimed. Before the charge went off Hawkeye turned around and jumped off the building.

On the way down Hawkeye caught a ledge. It was the sixteenth floor. He peered up. Two more heroes. Down he went until he reached the bottom floor. He lowered himself onto the side walk. Bad idea. He was surrounded by police cars. he retreated into the building and took up cover behind a pillar in the lobby. Time for a shootout, that was unless he got some help from one of the other villains or thieves in this new world.

Gambit took his steps out of the shadow, shaking the hand the purple clad man had extended to him as an offer of greeting. As soon as the handshake ended a mysterious black clad being appeared from underneath. Perhaps looking for the culprit of all the chaos down below the skyscraper, Gambit did not like its sudden appearance, not only for its obvious appearance of wanting to do what is right. Conflicted, Gambit would only choose what he thought was right and view the spider-like person as an enemy of his new found acquaintance. Gambit smirked as Hawkeye prepared a flash bang arrow, kind of the same use of his own explosive power. Except a flash bang would only provide a flash without the usual 'Bang!'. He covered his sight with the collar of his trench coat, allowing to safely view the flash without being blinded himself. "Amusing..." Was all Gambit could bring out as he watched Hawkeye make his great escape.

"Well monsieur 'dark', this is my cue to leave as well." With a small wave Gambit jumped from the ledge, using his Bo-staff as a slider, though this time the use would be to hold himself onto one of the flagpoles that hung on the outer walls of the skyscraper, with a quick back and forth swinging Gambit broke a large window with his army boots. With the sight of Hawkeye fleeing down to the main floor, Gambit followed behind him, hearing the soft steps of two people running to the roof. Sorry to disappoint but you won't be finding anything useful there except maybe the dark spider-like man.

As he reached the main floor Hawkeye was running back inside, hiding behind one of the pillars that were scattered around the room. "I assume this is a hide and seek event?" Without further questioning he hid himself behind a pillar as well, watching as a bunch of police cars had blocked the entrance to the skyscraper. Fun just doesn't end in this town, eh? He reached for a sum of five cards in the inside pocket of his trench coat, slowly igniting it for attack.

β€œBastard -” Harley growled while rushing to the window and observing the filthy alleyway bellow. Much to her unwelcomed surprise the creature had disappeared literally in thin air. Noticing both the irritation in her lovers face as well as the graze created by the letter, she grasped onto Jokers hand, and licked some blood from the wound, her eyes gazing into hers seductively, β€œIgnore him, love. He isn’t worth our time. Allow me to gather some cloth for it.”

Without waiting for response, Harley hopped to her feet and danced into the kitchen. She noticed a bowl of red apples on the counter and allowed herself to one, tossing it in the air then taking a bite, β€œNow where do we keep the bandages again. Oh, storage, that’s right.”

Opening the door to the pantry, Harley was momentarily shocked to see a bound up Commissioner Gordon. Taking a large bite of the apple in her hand, some of the juices trickled down her chin while she uttered her next phrase, β€œOh, commissioner. I knew I would forget you were here. Good thing I put you somewhere I’d remember to look, eh,” She bent over to his level, pressing the barrel of her gun to his temple and yanking duct tape off of his mouth, β€œNow, word is you know a lot about this world of ours. So, sweetie, where is Batman?”

β€œFuck you Harley, you and the Joker. You two will be stopped - ”

Harley brought her leg down on the back of his head in a fury, knocking him unconscious with the blow, β€œThat’s not a very nice word Commissioner,” she fussed, and detecting his ineptness folded her arms across her bust, β€œOh no; now look what you’ve made me do. And I had so many questions to ask you.” About the new villains, and super heroes; and their powers, and weaknesses.

She dipped into the crevice created by her chest, tugging out a note she had also forgot she had obtained. A proposal for an alliance, β€œHelp me take care of my nuisance, and I will help you with yours.” But from who? Although she did love games, at this moment, they had become irritable. She would have to turn to her comrade for advice.

Just as Rorschach was turning to continue to climb the stairs, she saw the figure who was on the roof drop down. "Damn." She muttered loudly, and walked quickly to the edge, looking down. He had made his way to the ground floor, where he was cornered by police cars, and Rorschach watched as he retreated into the lobby. She looked around at the outside of the building, eyeing the long banner advertisement hanging down, and an idea popped into her head. She walked to the glass behind it, and thrust her shoulder into the window, breaking it. Then, taking a few steps back, she ran towards the back of the banner, breaking through it. As she fell, Rorschach caught a section of the ad, and tore it in a strip. She fell fast, soon past the bottom of the advertisement. The banner held, and she fell further, edging her body towards the building, until her feet made contact, causing an ache in her heels. She slowed herself to a stop, holding herself up with the torn banner and her two feet against the building. She looked down nervously.

Below her, about 25 feet down, was the hard concrete, just a bit too far for comfort. Thinking quickly, she pushed of with her feet, and came back, crashing through the glass on the second floor. Now inside, she took a look around. Ahead of her was a balcony that looked out on the lobby, and below she could see the man from the roof, now more clearly. He was wearing a strange purple outfit, and wielded a bow. She knew he was trapped and felt it best to come from behind. For once she could work with the police. She ran to the stair cases, which were shielded from view by two large pillars. Rorschach hopped the railing, catching the edge of the floor with one hand, and then dropped down, landing silently on her feet. Much lighter now...being female is...interesting.

She rushed up quickly to another pillar and peered around. Ahead of her two pillars was the thief, taking cover from the police outside, and a man in a trench coat, possibly a detective, who was inside the building. She glanced around to get a hold of her surroundings, finding two fire extinguishers, a few chairs, pots and vases, and a security guard's nightstick, all possible weapons, should she need them. She stayed in her cover, eager to see what was next.

The Joker waited on the couch until he heard Harley address the commissioner. He got up, pulling the letter opener out of his hand, then taking his pocket hankie and wrapping it around his wound. He came up behind Harley as she pulled out the letter, he read it over her shoulder Help me take care of my nuisance, and I will help you with yours. Interesting, someone who wanted to stop the bat? Not only that, but this someone was willing to work with the Joker, and that was a rare thing outside of Gothem's little crime ring. He leaned against the doorway, looking down on the commissioner, and drumming his fingers against the door frame. "I wonder what kind of reaction Mr.Gordon would have at my little change, hmmm?" he put his free arm around Harley, half hugging her. "Might come as a bit of a shock I should think."

Several jumps later, Nightcrawler was walking down the pavement, hidden from view once more. His golden eyes peered out from the small gap between the upturned collar and the brim of his hat. Tail wrapped around his waist, Nightcrawler moved amongst the passerby. He never had liked the cold, and the rain made it worse. "Damn this city... It seems to rain sewage it stinks so much! I might puke!", he muttered to himself. His thoughts were interrupted when he almost fell over a police barricade. Looking up, he saw a mass of patrol cars and SWAT vans. So many... Too many for me to take on my own... but then again, they're not after me. And they'll never know what hit them... He tried not to attract attention of the officers as he silently sneaked into the shadow of a nearby building. Once again, he ditched the coat and hat, allowing his tail to fully unwind itself. Nightcrawler prepared himself, waiting like a coiled spring. Exhaling sharply, he leaped skyward, jumping halfway up the building with ease. Fingers and toes sticking to the surface easily, he scurried the rest of the way up the building.

Landing as silently as he could on the rain-drenched roof, Nightcrawler blended into the shadows of water tower, slinking his way towards the edge. A SWAT sniper team set up camp on the edge of the building. Their field of vision encompassed the entire area below, no area of the lobby or building was uncovered. His ears picked up static from the spotter, who spoke into a radio attached to his jacket. Pointed fangs glinted in the night before disappearing in a huff of smoke. A whisper of wind, and he was right behind them, squatting on his heels. Putting on his most demented smile, Nightcrawler tapped the spotter on the shoulder with his tail.

"...go on our..." The officer cut his sentence short as he saw the odd sight before him. A dark blue, almost black thing (there was no other word for it) was squatting behind him, smiling with pointed teeth. He almost waved it off as a kid when he noticed the tail and the bright yellow eyes. It gave a small wave as he gaped at it. "Hank? Hank are you there? Are we good to go?", came the staticy question from the radio. A hard lump formed in his throat. "DEREK! THERE'S-", he tried calling to his partner, but at that moment the creature grabbed them. His hand flashed downwards towards his sidearm, but he never drew it. The next thing he new, a patrol car was rushing up to meet him, and Derek had already hit the pavement. He closed his eyes right before he collided with the hood.

To the officers below, they thought Hank Otro was going crazy. Hallucinating even. That was before a horrible sound blared from all of their radios. They all paled. It sounded like a chorus of unearthly wails and screams. The silence that followed made all the officers jump. And then THAT silence was shattered by the sound of bone crunching and metal crumpling. Heads whipped towards a patrol car that now housed the bloody, broken body of Lt. Hank Otro. His parnter landed on a SWAT van a few feet away. Someone threw up, others looked skyward for whatever could've done this. A rookie began to pray hysterically, almost screaming. Nobody said a word.

Nightcrawler laughed as the two officers hit the vehicles below. Their blood mixed with the already filthy water in the street, flowing around their friend's boots. Showtime! He began to walk down the side of the building, crying out to the officers. "Fun isn't it? God, I almost wish you could see your faces. Priceless!" He held his tail in his hand, swinging it in a circle. "But I guess you can't, since you're not me. Oh and buddy?" He pointed at the rookie praying on his knees. "He won't help you now. Nobody will." He grinned again, showing his pointy teeth.

Hawkeye took note of his surroundings. There was some sort of detective and his new friend that he met on the rooftop with him in the room. On top of the building was a hero. Outside there was pure chaos caused by some sort of thing. The odds weren't good, for the police and their allies. Hawkeye notched a sharp tipped arrow. Nothing special about the arrow, just an arrow that came to a sharp point.

"Hey buddy," Hawkeye said, addressing Gambit,"If you want to meet up with me again meet me at Wharf 7." With that Hawkeye unleashed his arrow and hit an officer that was praying loudly in the back of the head, stopping with the tip sticking out of the officer's mouth. The man fell over dead. Hawkeye was feeling to much heat. He had started the whole thing, but he didn't care. He noticed that he was being followed by a police car. An explosive arrow suddenly stuck to the car's window. The poor police officer didn't know what hit him. The following explosion was good cover for Hawkeye's escape.

About thirty minutes later Hawkeye sat in on the end of the wharf looking out over the water. Hawkeye was waiting for Gambit, should he choose to follow Hawkeye's directions. Then it occurred to him, that detective might have heard him. Maybe she would meet him here to. At least he would have someone to talk to. He didn't even know why he wore the purple mask anymore.

A wind blew across the city, bringing about small white particles, that if any person was to glance at would like like shiy pieces of dust. One by one each particle came together, starting from the feet all the way up to the head, creating a figure of pure white. It appeared to be male, it's body crafted to that of the musculoskeletel system, orange veins running down his neck to every limb. Kevin's eyes were wide open, glaring with a bright red, and soon a maniacal laugh escaped him as well.
"Nothing can kill me." Proteus whispered as he looked to his side to see a frightened mother and her child, probably no older then 10, freeze in their steps as they gazed at the strange phenomenon. It simply smirked at them, with it's sharpened teeth, and raised his hand up towards the mother. The child gripped the now cold hand of her mother and as the little girl looked over to her; found her stone effigy instead. Step by step, Kevin now stood in front of her, taking in her features as she tears roled down her face alongside with slow sobs of whimpering.

The little girl was wearing a black dress, and had long flowing black hair. She must have been leaving from a funeral.
Only one way to know.
The white figure stretched his arm to the girl's forehead and immediatly his body was sucked inside. The little girl suddenly went limp, arms drooped and back hunched before Proteus possessed her. Her posture immediatly straightened but her eyes were pure white, ready to walk away, until Kevin reilized he was still stuck to the mother's stone body.
With only a glare, the statue turned into sand, each individual grain coming down on the pavement as a mound of sand was built. A very wide grin escaped Proteus's possession as he spoke in the little girls voice with a heavy scottish accent.
"These humans need to know their ruler."

Rather she turned to the wall of a skyscraper and raised her hand. The solid wall of the skyscraper suddenly became water, dropping down on the ground, and splashed it's small wave inside. Kevin walked in, whistling a tune as the sudden sound of sirens and screams flooded his ears. Now she stood in the centre of a room, a puddle of watery footsteps with pillars coming up from the floor and watched the blue and red lights outside where some unknown entity dealt with police. Someone inside shot an arrow at an officer and made a run outside. Perhaps the scene was so bizarre (even to Kevin) that he just looked at interest as the purple masked man escaped.

There were people in here; hiding behind these pillars. Proteus could sense them but how would they react to seeing him in this form of a small girl? Entertaining perhaps to see before they die.
They'd act human. Humans are viruses. Plagues that need to be rid of.
Only god can rid of them. Only Proteus.

The situation did have set up to be a forced escape, all the blue suits and not to mention at least one hero up en the roof and the two pair of footsteps he had heard when walking to the lobby. As a window crashed it seemed another person had appeared before Gambit's eyes. A detective-like outfit, perhaps nothing, perhaps it a lot. The situation was tight, without knowledge of anything or anyone, Gambit could only trust in what he thought would be the right decision. The purple clad man spoke, his voice directed at Gambit. Meeting up at a spot was risky, and he wanted to point out that someone else had joined them as well that could've heard his words. Besides that it was something Gambit could count on, maybe the purple clad man has some useful knowledge Gambit could be needing.

With a nod Gambit signalled the man he agreed on the offer, watching as the same man now made his 'true' grand escape. And there was the first move that made the thief doubt his choice slightly. He had no information about the man he wanted to meet up with, but Gambit found the purple clad man's method of escape a little too drastic. Instead of murdering a person he could've used that arrow the same way he used it against that spider-like guy. As the chaos had been collected from the scene, Gambit to, made his escape. Launching the card that rested in his hand to form another distraction. A window, a door? Anything! A quick scan of his surroundings, a somewhat large window would provide him with the escape from this building. "Tata! It seems that I have an important meeting to attend to." While running towards his escape route, Gambit give of a departing wave at the detective-like person that had joined in the short fray.

"Wharf seven? Sounds abandoned..." Gambit shrugged, wiping off the small glass particles from his trench coat. As fast but as cautious as he could, he made his way to the docks. After finally arriving there, the purple clad man had spoke the truth. He was sitting on the end, looking out on the water. "Once more greetings, ami. Did you have something to discuss? Not that I am complaining about your choice of environment, dark areas have their benefits." Gambit stood his ground, waiting for the man's response as he probably took his time enjoying whatever was lurking in the water.

Harley nodded in agreement, at first glancing at the Joker then stealing a kiss when he looked away. Eager to test the theory, she gave the Commissioner a swift kick, but was disappointed to find that aside from a muffled groan he did not stir. Some people were so useless; she growled knowing that the only purpose an unconscious Gordon could serve would be as a hostage. Even if he were awake, he had the kind of disgusting unbreakable moral that would prevent him from releasing the whereabouts of either Batman or any other heroes he had come in contact with since the merge. It was disgusting really.

Harley redirected her attention to the note in her hand, placing her thumb to her chin in contemplation. Where had she acquired such a useful piece of paper? One might think she’d have remembered such an important detail but without her other half she was quite lost as a villain. And of course, they couldn’t simply brush off that it could be a trap.

That’s when it dawned on her, not the writer of the note. But of where Batman may be. She recalled the sounds of sirens rocketing down the streets, and knew the Caped Crusader would not ignore such cries, β€œWe have to go downtown.” She quickly uttered to her partner without explanation, surely the Joker had already known why.

The Joker was pleased that Harley kissed him in such a sneaky way. When she mentioned something about going downtown, he simply nodded in agreement. Harley was good at planning, while he was rather scatter brained in that area. Sure he had a method to his madness, but it couldn't exactly be called planned. He pushed off of the door frame, giving the commissioner a light nudge with his own foot. After no real response to this treatment, the Joker went and got the keys to the car that he had 'borrowed' earlier. He turned towards Harley, with the keys held out in his uninjured hand. "You drive my dear."

Zatanna

She held her wand looking it over. She then took said wand and traced a rectangular shape in the air. She thought about something and then she started to speak in that odd language. β€œEb ot hsiw I erehw ot snepo taht rood a.” She then flicked the wand and there was a bright flash of pink light. Within moments there was a door as she had asked for. She stepped close and turned the knob and the door creaked open. Peeking through she saw various visions of the city. She lovers walking in the park among flowers and benches. A flick of her wand moved the image to the front of a theater on the outside of town. Once more a flick of her wrist moved the image to that of a rooftop. She frowned and yet again repeated this action of shifting through place after place. It was a minute or two of this before she saw flashing lights.

β€œAhh! Pots! Tfel eht ot.” The image shifted and then settled on a the S.W.A.T van and the man laying on the hood of it. It then shifted to the officers one praying for all he was worth. Now she had found something worth seeing in person. Smirking slightly Zatanna stepped through the door.

On the other side, anyone watching might be amazed by her sudden entrance. And it was sudden. One moment there was nothing but air, the next, there was a young woman stepping from nothing into existence. As she stepped into reality there was a slamming sound of wood meeting a frame. It was fairly loud and causes quite a few of the officers to jump noticeably. She was smiling brightly as she took in the scene. β€œNow, what do we have here?”
Zatanna managed to look up and see the blue man walking down the building. She had shown up just in time to catch the tail end of his speech and she found it entertaining. And like with anything you found amusing, She started to clap. β€œBravo! What a wonderful show! Such drama and presence! Most amusing if I do say so myself!” She was aware that this had gotten her a number of horrified looks from the cops. But who really cared what they thought. After all she was a bit of an expert on the subject.

β€œBravo! What a wonderful show! Such drama and presence! Most amusing if I do say so myself!”, called out a woman who had quite literally come form nowhere. She was scantily dressed, even by his standards. What shocked him more, however, was the fact that she had appeared from nowhere. Even for Nightwalker, who did that almost on a by-the-minute basis, it startled him. Enough for him to not pay attention to his footing and step into the void of an open window. Shit. That's the only thing that he thought as he plummeted towards the rain-soaked concrete. A puff of smoke and he was gone. He reappeared again in another cloud, sitting on the of the S.W.A.T van that the officer's mangled body was sticking out of. His tail flicked in irritation at the new dilemma placed before him. One of his three long blue fingers stroked his chin, a thoughtful look on his face.

"I'd like to thank you for your support for my entertainment, but I don't know if I should thank you. I don't really know what side you're really on here, and I'd rather not get arrested tonight. First night in a city and already locked up? Been there, done that." He sprang up and proceeded to pace back and forth on the van. "Now if you're interested in an alliance, I might be able to help. If you're looking for a fight, I'd also oblige you. But if you're going to arrest me, then I WILL fight. There is no mistake about that."

He stopped and turned to face Zatanna. "Well? What are you going to do?" The very faint click of a weapon's safety being turned off made his ear twitch, and he disappeared in another cloud as a burst of SMG fire cut through it. He reappeared behind the officer who fired and delivered a swift kick to the groin. The officer went down with a choked gasp, grabbing his groin. Nightcrawler spat on him and teleported back to the roof of the van. "Well? I'm waiting." He tapped one of his toes in feigned impatience, grinning slightly all the while.

Zatanna

She watched him as he fell as he was distracted by her sudden appearance. This caused her to snort as she held back a small laugh. Yes highly entertaining, indeed. She watched him disappear in a puff of smoke and then searched for him. She scanned from right to left before she found him sitting on the S.W.A.T. van. She watched as he started stroking his chin. A very dramatic man, it seemed. But that was alright.

"Now if you're interested in an alliance, I might be able to help. If you're looking for a fight, I'd also oblige you. But if you're going to arrest me, then I WILL fight. There is no mistake about that."
This statement had her smiling. That was the question. To bad she didn't have an answer. No, She didn't have any feeling against this destruction or the pain the innocents where feeling. Now that was odd, considering her past self. Actually she kind of enjoyed the sound of the gunfire and the look of horror on a mans face. At the same time she was disgusted with herself for that small joy. Just who was she turning out to be?
Hearing a click of the guns safety and he once again disappeared only to appear behind a shooting officer. She smiled brightly watching him kick the man in the groin.
She took note of the brutality he had displayed and crossed her arms. Remind me never to make him angry. It'd be hazardous to my health to anything but play nice.
β€œYou know, I'm not really sure what I want. Had you asked me that question a week ago... Or perhaps even twenty four hours ago and I'd have a definite answer. I'd tell you i'd arrest you and then we'd be locked in battle as we speak.”
shrugging her shoulders before she looked down at the praying cop to her right. The fact that he had stopped praying and was now staring wide eyed at her, made her grin.
She ruffled his hair slightly before she gave him a wink.β€œBut since all of this chaos started, well, I've started to have a different view.” Her heals clicked on the pavement as she made her way closer to the man. She hadn't been lying she wasn't sure what she wanted or even if she wanted an alliance with him. He was dark in personality and deed it seemed. And did she really want to take that final step into that darkness?
β€œLlab erif.” She held out her hand as the ball of flame flashed to life and she held it there silently. She was still contemplating what she wished to do with it. β€œI'll leave it up to you. Should we fight?”

Nightcrawler carefully considered her words. The rain had made his hair stick to his scalp, and it hung raggedly over his face and neck. Behind the curtain of his black locks, his golden eyes narrowed in intense thought. His tail flicked back and forth, usually what he does when he's concentrating. Nobody moved. None of the officers were going to move, they were paralyzed with fear at him and the mysterious woman. They also most likely figured that if they moved, they'd be destroyed without hesitation. Now. The matter at hand. She seems like a goody-goody, but if she'd wanted she probably could've destroyed me. But she hasn't. His tail flicked again. To ally myself with her could mean I'd gain a powerful ally, but at the same time it could be disastrous if she decides to turn on me. His finger tapped the side of his head in thought.

A ball of transparent fire flared into life in the woman's hand. It defied the rain, ignoring it as if it was never there. He smirked, and extended a three-fingered blue hand. "Well, I guess you've got me beat there. Allies?" I can't match that, and I don't know how I can dodge that, since I don't know how fast that is. Better play it safe.

Re: [OOC] Comic Character Collision!

Just for anyone who's interested, Green Lantern is an amazing movie. Go watch it. Or Paralax will get ya!

And I did 2-D, so if you go to 3-D, have fun. 2-D was awesome in it's own way.

Michael Fassbender was totally badass as Magneto in that film.

Definitely better than the last two in the franchise.

Probably Magneto since I'm on a kick from X-Men First Class.
