She was supposed to be going to college next year, dammit. Sure, she's only 15 (14 when she was brought to Northern Star), but she'd been on track to graduate after sophomore year of high school, and to hell with the whole "socialization" thing that kept getting rammed down her throat. She'd even started applying for scholarships.

But no, apparently her parents thought she could use two years of "personal growth" or whatever they called this brainwashing bullshit instead. In the middle of the woods, with no friends, no social media, and really nothing that counts as an education, either. Sure, they were mad at her for running around downtown San Diego at night with her friends and spending far less time on her homework (pfft, like it required effort) than she did on the computer, but exile to Bumfuck, Oregon? Really? That was uncalled for.

She's working on some of the teachers, though. Just one phone call to one of her friends, and she'll be out of here. And as soon as she gets her hands on a computer? These fuckers are going down.

You'd better not tell that to anyone in Circle, though. Or do you want staff to know what she saw you doing last week when you were supposed to be on work duty? Yeah, didn't think so.
