Dahlia was trying to calm herself down. Everything was starting to get weird. Nothing was making sense anymore. She was being chased by men she didn't know. Her only call for help was someone she wasn't supposed to like. And the marriage wasn't making any sense to her. If Julien's plan to get answers didn't work to get answers she would go to her own plan. Snooping. It has gotten her pretty far before and she had no doubt that it would get her just as far before. "Now don't go blaming yourself, you've done no wrong, and if something bad has happened to him, we'll get him out of it. This whole mess would have been a heck of a lot clearer if our parents actually told us what is going on, so if its anyone to blame it is them, okay? Danger however is something that will crop up in our families' line of work, hence the reason why I wanted the answers so badly before to avoid all this, but we're in this together, okay? We'll find out whose behind this, rescue Drake and then get the answers, but for now, stay close to me" she nodded and took his hand. Or course she was going to stay with him. After what is happening she wasn't going to venture on her own. She isn't dumb.

Dahlia followed Julien to a dead body and a unconscious man. If she wasn't used to seeing things like this then she would have freaked out, called Julien a murderer and try and run away. But seeing something like this was just another walk in the park. She would have to do it anyway and she was actually happy to see them this way. Guarantee that she was safe. "Turn him over, back of the neck" Dahlia turned around to see a girl. She would have freaked out, but she didn't look like a threat. "These are my guys, your in safe hands" Dahlia nodded. She watched as Julien checked for the tattoo the girl was talking about. Whoever the Letiya was, they sounded familiar and it may also be why her father was doing this to keep her safe. After the mini discussion about the tattoo, Julien brought up Drake. Honestly, Dahlia didn't know whether or not Drake was captured, but it doesn't hurt to check. If he is then she would be happy. If he wasn't then she would kill him with her bare hands. No one stands Dahlia up and gets away with it.

"Julien. I need to talk to my dad. He knows something about these people," she said referring to the Letiya. He would mention them often, but he never went in detail when she was around. She didn't think much of it until she was being chased by them. "Do we stay here and wait or go back to my house?" she asked. She couldn't care less. Either way her questions were starting to be answered and things were starting to see the light. Only thing is how did they find her. She got past her dad's security guards with ease no way these burly men just happen to know she would show up here. Someone is behind this and she was going to find out whoever it was.

Slowly but surely, it seemed that the pieces of the puzzle that Julien was forming was beginning to come together. He wasn't sure if Jasper giving him a gun was his idea or his fathers, but if it wasn't for the gun or the heads up by Jasper, then the situation right now would have been more desperate and more of a surprise that the two of them would not be so calm right now. He probably would appear as calm as he could be, for Dahlia's sake at least. It was pretty ironic though, seeing the years at college where the two hated each other and didn't want anything to do with each other, simply slandering the other when another person mentioned their name, for they were so used to being enemies, but now the tables had truly turned. In his college days, he'd never imagine being this close to Dahlia, prefering just to keep his distance as he has always been told, seeing her as bad news and continuing on, but all this had them sitting with each other, talking with each other, eating together, swapping numbers, now even hugging and holding hands. Before him was a girl that was supposed to disgust him and that he just had to put up with her until this mess was resolved, but a part of him didn't want it too, even a part of him was envious of Drake before he returned to the land of the living upon hearing her voice, causing his eyes to leave the tattoo and to look at her instead.

"Julien. I need to talk to my dad. He knows something about these people...Do we stay here and wait or go back to my house?", she asked. Julien thought about it, before giving an open response, "I'm sure my father knows the Letiya too. Your father said when I asked him that I'd know in time, but I personally would of preferred to find out, rather than having to charge in blindly and having to shoot a man to find out, but I certainly know now that the Letiya don't have very good relations on my fathers' side, and guessing they don't have very good relationship with yours either if they were chasing you, but we'll get to the bottom of this. As for whether we stay or go, I'll let you choose because we could join in with my men, seeing as Drake could be in there and he'd probably want to be with you and you with him. Personally I say that option so I'd have my guys backing to get our answers and give time for my father to get to yours for I am sick of playing these games, but if you'd prefer to go now, we can do that too though you would need to re-arrange your meeting with Drake if he is here...".

Dahia leaned against the nearby tree. She was processing what Julien was saying to her. The part that was getting to her was how they were finding out about what was really going die. The lengths they have just gone to get answers. Julien shot someone and Dahlia was almost kidnapped. It got her blood boiling. This was unnecessary and unwanted. This has never happened before either so she didn't exactly know what to do at the moment. It usually takes a lot to anger Dahlia, but her father was doing a pretty good job. And on top of that she was worried about the Drake situation.

Drake. Julien gave her the option to stay and figure out if he is here or go and reschedule a date with him. In all honesty she wanted to make sure he was safe. She was out here because of him in the first place so she might as well wait for him. "Let's stay," she said looking at Julien. Dahlia let out a sigh and leaned her head back on the tree. She was tired. Everything was happening so fast. Earlier today her and Julien hated each other. As the day progressed their relationship seemed to improve. They sat next to each other on the water fountain. He bought her flowers for dinner with her dad. She hugged him when he came to save her life. And at the current moment they were holding hands. She didn't know what to think anymore. Right and Wrongs were reversed and up and down were flipped. She wanted answers now she didn't know if it could wait.

Dahlia looked down at her hand in Julien's and removed it. Despite all that he has done for her the most they could be was friends. All the hand holding and hugging would have to stop as well. It would mess up Dahlia's head and cause more confusion then needed. She wrapped her arms around herself and closed her eyes. She took slow, deep breaths to calm herself down. She believed that if one more surprised jumped out at her she would lose it. She saw Julien snap his cap when he came to get her, but he seems better now. But Dahila will take her rage out on her father. He deserved it. "Where would they be keeping Drake?" she asked Julien.

In the distance she could see a body moving towards them. She didn't know who it was so she shifted closer to Julien for safety, but as the person drew closer she knew exactly who that person was. Dahlia was both angry and happy. Her skin was heating up, but at the same time she was satisfied. Drake smiled and waved at her and then jogged up to her. The second he was close enough Dahlia slapped him across his face. "Why did you do that?" he asked her. She almost slapped him again for not knowing the reason. "Is your phone on?" she asked him ignoring the question. He nodded and she was angry all over again. She wanted to kill him. "I'm sorry it took me so long to get here. When I got to the park you were gone already. So I went looking for you," he said looking at Julien then back at Dahlia. "Who is he?" Dahlia rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Ask him yourself," she said clearly still mad at him.

The silence that he was recieving from Dahlia suggesting there was nothing for her to say, that she had a great deal on her mind which he understood perfectly. It certainly was alot to take in for how much the two of them had to deal with today, especially for Dahlia who ends up being stood up by the guy she loves and then being chased by several men, later to find out it was a huge powerful mafia family who seemed to be enemies of their father and that despite her youth, she was already being dragged into this whole affair unwillingly, just when she had hoped for a simple life and going out with a guy who had no affiliations with powerful groups but it seemed it was too late now. Afterall, there was a high chance that Drake came here already and was already captured by the Letiya. Why was all this happening? the same question that Julien asks himself while remaining a pillar of strength for them both.

"Let's stay", she decided, which Julien nodded to show he was in agreement as staying was the better option and it did give Jasper time to make sure that when they return to the Emmessy's house that both their fathers would be there when he comes in strength and demanding the answers they so desperately sought. Back in the park Dahlia had told him of how she felt like a pawn on a chessboard, as they learnt more and more about the situation, it seemed more and more realistic that they were pawns but the question remained as to why. Afterall, he was the first born, heir and only child of the Beaumont's while she was the first born, heir and only child of the Emmessy's, such were not to mess around with because the family would be over if anything happened to either of them, and now all this.

It was then that he felt the wind brush past him as he felt the coldness on his skin again, as he glanced down with his eyes where he noticed Dahlia had now let go, before asking, "Where would they be keeping Drake?". Julien thought about it before answering, "Failing your capture, they would wish to use him as bait to lure you in, as clearly you were the intended target for tonight's unfortunate event, so they'd want to establish a perimeter in which to capture you, but they'd fail in that aspect with my guys in their two, but there is always the off-chance that Drake is not in there and that there is no sign of them anymore", such being the outcome his jealous side hoped for since such would pull her away from Drake, which seemed to have caused Dahlia to draw closer to him, but it seemed it was for another reason as a figure approached them.

Julien remained on guard until the figure was more clear, which by Dahlia's body language and with the guy waving at her, clearly identified the guy as being Drake, clearly unscarthed by today's events which meant that the guy had certainly let her down so he tried to keep the grin off his face when Dahlia gave him what he deserved as he merely turned his head to look away. What he did notice was that Dahlia had remained where she was and did not move towards Drake so clearly she was unimpressed if the slap wasn't enough evidence as she asked if his phone was on, a valid question and then the idiot nods. If he was going to stand her up, he could of least stood her up properly, not that he would though, but to admit his phone was on and that he had the ability to phone or text certainly raised suspicions that even if he felt giving him a punch, seeing as their family's arrangement had him responsible for her, so if he was messing around with her, he was messing around with him too.

He then heard his lousy excuse that he arrived but that she was "gone already" before looking for him, despite the park being full of the Letiya who would of caught him. His story was sounded lamer and lamer before he asked about him, in which Dahlia replied, "Ask him yourself", clearly still miffed. Having been noticed, Julien turned to him with a smirk on his face, being unable to hide it, but at the same time pretty pleased as his jealous side of himself was being appeased, "Name's Julien, a guy who does not mess around with his gals, nor lies through his teeth", saying such with malice, as he pulled out a cigarette and lighted it, before putting such in his mouth and using his other hand to put around Dahlia's waist to clearly annoy him, though he didn't want to mess with Dahlia's feelings either, so he then added on, "You've had your phone on but couldn't be bothered to text her or phone her when you saw she was gone. Certainly done a poor job looking for her. I believe its time for you to just spit out the truth or that slap will not compare to my fist for mucking her around", his eyes glaring at him, as he blew from his cigarette at the end.

"Name's Julien, a guy who does not mess around with his gals, nor lies through his teeth", Drake didn't like his attitude and he would much rather punch the guy in the face, but he didn't move. Dahlia was a bit surprised to feel Julien's arm wrapped around her waist. She would have moved away, but it seemed to piss off Drake so she was okay with it. "I wasn't lying," he said. Dahlia let out a sarcastic laugh. She wanted to slap him again, but instead she just folded her arms and kept her mouth shut. Julien put a cigarette in his mouth and it took all her will power not to pull it out.

"You've had your phone on but couldn't be bothered to text her or phone her when you saw she was gone. Certainly done a poor job looking for her. I believe its time for you to just spit out the truth or that slap will not compare to my fist for mucking her around" Drake didn't like the threat. He balled his fist up, but he tried his best to keep his cool. "The park isn't that big. I didn't think I needed to call her," he said. Dahlia let out a sigh and took the cigarette from Juilen's mouth and through it on the ground. She hated when people smoked around her.

"Drake I don't want to see you anymore. Especially right now," Dahlia said looking down at the ground. Drake was in shock. "But this is the only date I messed up on and we're supposed to be best friends," he said, but Dahlia just shook her head. "And I wanted a phone call or some kind of text message," she said. Dahlia was beyond pissed off. It was too the point that whatever she did to Drake wouldn't suffice. Just thinking about everything made her want to cry. With out even realizing it, tears were falling down her cheek. She wiped one away and she pulled herself away from Julien. She walked away from the both of them. Drake wanted to follow after her, but he knew when he was not wanted. He looked at Julien, but didn't have anything to say. He just turned and left.

Dahlia didn't even know where she was going. She was blinded by tears and she couldn't get rid off them. All her anger and confusion was coming out as tears and it was uncontrollable. she stopped walking and sat down on the sidewalk. She wrapped her arms around her legs and brought them up to her chest. She put her head into her knees and cried out. She didn't know what to do anymore. She didn't even want to go home. Of all things she had the feeling to run away.

This all started because she was supposed to marry Julien. From there everything went downhill. Her dad has done nothing, but lied to her. She wasn't able to live her life the way she wanted. She was forced to be with Julien. She was chased by Letiya just to be kidnapped. And on top of that she was stood up and lied by her supposed boyfriend/best friend. She needed to let it all out. She needed to get away from all this, but she didn't know how. And she didn't know if she could.

Lies, lies and more lies. It seemed everywhere they were turning today, someone was blatantly lieing to him, first his father and his mother, then Dahlia's father and now Mr.Wise Guy as he acted all innocent that he wasn't lying, so he was in complete agreement when Dahlia laughed sarcastically as she too saw through that one. If he truly was looking for her around the park, then he would of been caught in the cross fire and not arriving so casually as if nothing happened. He didn't even rush upto her, he just walked at his own pace, waved and then jogged which certainly did not seem like someone worried that his girl was about. Did he even care?

"The park isn't that big. I didn't think I needed to call her", was the lousy excuse that came from his pathetic lips. Was this truly the type of guy Dahlia liked? Did he have to be so dumb in the head to please her? No, this was the poor guy having what was good in his life taken from him so he could understand his urgency and desperation to hold on, even if it meant lying which is why he gave him a chance to be open and tell the truth but instead comes out with rubbish. If the park wasn't that big then surely he would of found her if he was truly looking. If it had been him and he didn't see her, he could admit that he wouldn't call straight away as he'd be rushing around like a headless chicken first with worry to try without, before then ringing. The way he walked upto her certainly would of been different as he personally would of raced upto her and held her. Drake certainly needed his brain putting into gear again.

It was then that Dahlia decided to break it up, though the fact that she had come here to see him and how she has been against this whole arrangement and blocking him off, it suggested that maybe she still had feelings for him but it simply couldn't work since she was with him, or that she truly was annoyed by his lies. He certainly felt her pain, but he couldn't truly say he understood totally when he had no girl for him. For now he remained silent and breathing through his nose now that Dahlia had removed his cigarette from him. He didn't actually smoke, well not all the time, for he only done such when he was stressed since there was no one to turn to, or in this case for the mere pleasure to wind Drake up since he knew he couldn't react back unless he wished to upset Dahlia. He seemed to be doing a great job doing that anyway, even without his help.

Not only that, but it seemed Dahlia had feelings for him, but he said how they were supposed to be 'best friends'. What an idiot, before he took notice of her and saw her wipe her face before pulling away from him and walking away. Drake simply looked at him before turning away like the coward and uncaring git that he was, for if he had any feelings for her, he would go after her, which was exactly what Julien was doing now. Julien took the position next to her on her right, once again putting his arm round her. Whenever people were upset like this, they needed someone they could rely on, even someone to cry on, as Julien said softly, "I know I'm probably or more than likely the person you least want now, but I am here for you, okay? I know it's hard, it's hard on both of us with the family's we are in, but as the saying goes, we can choose our friends but not our families, and clearly not even our love of our lives anymore. That must of been hard, even if he's been a complete idiot today. No doubt my father was orchestrator of this arrangement, I just should of just cut my losses, stopped being selfish and said no, you would of been alot safer, and happier at that....", as he certainly could see his father putting these together from the way her father spoke out keeping his daughter safe.

She cried into his chest. At the moment this was enough. She wanted someone to hold as she cried and Julien was perfect. She wiped some of her tears away.

"It's not your fault. I could have said no too. And it was my fault for sneaking out." she said into his chest. She did it really to spite her father. She dated Drake because he wasn't apart of the mafia business. Half of the things she does, she tries to do them outside of the business. But it was useless. She was now in the middle of it. And she wasn't alone. Neither of them asked for this and they were trying their best to get out of it. But to be honest, part of her was happy that this was happening. Getting closer to Julien. She liked it. If she could stop time she would freeze this moment, making it last forever. She actually felt comfort within his arms.

She stayed quiet for a moment and just let silence conquer them. It was soothing and peaceful. She didn't have to hear her father yelling and arguing. She didn't have to hear her mother complain. No random gunshots. No mafia crap. Just silence. It was beautiful. Dahlia wanted more days like this. More days a peace. She didn't want to go home. Couldn't go home. Not tonight. She moved her head off Julien's chest and looked at him. "I can't go home. Do you know someplace where I can stay?" she asked. If he said no then she would go home.

Usually she would stay at Drake's when she needed to be away from her parents, but there were obvious reasons to why she wouldn't do that. And honestly she was expecting an apology tomorrow through text. She knew Drake like the back of her hand. He only gave up because Julien was there. He would be back and Dahlia was not looking forward to that day.

The impression that he got from Mr Emmessy was that he did care for his fathers' safety, but despite clearly knowing something that was unwilling to change, Julien did not believe that Mr Emmessy was fully aware of the circumstances when he had said how he 'hoped' his daughter would be safe which conveyed uncertainty. Clearly something big was going on that caused Mr Emmessy to be troubled for his daughters' safety while his father merely kept a cool head and giving his orders, not even flinching when he confronted his father which gave the impression that he was just concealing everything and putting on a brave face, or that he had complete confidence in what was going on. It was that part of his father that Julien admired, how he acted in a cool and collected manner and kept his family together, safe. He was certainly a true leader for the family business, but using his only son and Mr Emmessy's only daughter as pawns was not so pleasing.

He wasn't sure how long Dahlia and Drake had been together, but clearly everything she was dealing with right now was getting too much for her as she broke down into tears as he comforted her and she accepted him, despite everything. When things got too much for Julien, he merely got stressed and exploded when things got too much as he did earlier, if not for the whole Dahlia-Drake situation that had calmed him down since he had to get his priorities straight to think about calming Dahlia down rather than coming down on his father to get the answers, but it seemed that they had done pretty well sussing it all out themselves. "It's not your fault. I could have said no too. And it was my fault for sneaking out", she told him as she begun to cool down and insisted that it was her fault too. Sure she was responsible for sneaking out, but she was pushed to do so with how her life was being dictated to her now, so he couldn't blame her, especially since she had feelings for Drake.

Julien would have responded to it, but the peace surrounding them with the silence of the night, such that he did not wish to disturb. They at least had some time while his guys checked out the park. The fact Drake was fine and well meant there was no hostage situation, though some of the Letiya could still be there, Beks no doubt would call for the disposal team to remove the dead body, as well as contain their new prisoner before Dahlia lifted herself up and turned to him, "I can't go home. Do you know someplace where I can stay?". Julien thought about how to respond, as he was hoping to deal with their parents which is why he had summoned his father. He personally was ready to charge in there now, with or without Dahlia, but maybe what he needed to do was rest on it so he didn't lose it as Julien nodded, "Well I would say you could stay round mine, but such would mean dealing with my father, but I do have a rented place I have that we can use...", such that he used when inviting his friends round since inviting them back home was a straight no-no with all the security.

It was clear that she wanted some place so he could hardly refuse her, nor could he blame her. Their parents had wasted enough of their time, so such was exactly what Julien was doing by not confronting them as originally intended, perhaps things will work out better as he smiled, "It's not much really but it is a place of refuge and normality that I try to hang on to. I am sure our parents mean well, so whatever, each of us know what not to do when we're older", as he paused, before returning to the subject as he stood up slowly to make sure that she was okay standing up to, before asking, "Ready to go?", he asked incase she changed her mind before they went to call for a taxi. His place weren't so big as all it had was the essentials really, a nice living room for the parties with a kitchen overlooking it since it was all open plan, with a single bedroom and the bathroom to the side. Afterall, if he rented something more expensive, his father would get suspicious...

(Meanwhile)

A black car pulled up outside the Emmessy house as a thin man got out of the drivers' seat and opened the door behind him as a tall man with a black striped suit and wearing a dark shirt and tie, left the vehicle, followed by two other guys, both of which wore dark-shaded glasses as if they were FBI agents who proceeded to knock on the door. The taller man proceeded to be infront of the other two as the door opened and he formed a smirk upon his face, "Tell your Master that he has guests to attend. Beaumont, Robert Beaumont is my name", stepping in himself soon after introducing himself.

Hate. A four letter word that means a strong dislike towards someone or something. At the current moment that someone was her father adn Julien's father. Sitting holding on to Julien has shed light on that subject. This is their fault. She would have been safer if they weren't so pressed on this marriage. She would have been fine with Drake as well since this meeting wouldn't have to happen. She was doing all these things just to keep in relations to a business she doesn't even want to be apart of. She really was a pawn. And she has yet to know why. She has seen the opponents, but she doesn't know her own team's moves. That isn't how it should be.

"Well I would say you could stay round mine, but such would mean dealing with my father, but I do have a rented place I have that we can use..." Dahlia nodded in agreement. She just wanted to get away from everyone and everything. She wanted to be able to feel like she was in control. But she couldn't do that around her father. Not now. She needed a break from him. From her controlled life. Dahlia wanted to be free again if only for one moment. "It's not much really but it is a place of refuge and normality that I try to hang on to. I am sure our parents mean well, so whatever, each of us know what not to do when we're older", she didn't say anything. Her silence meant that she was okay with it. The her and Julien both stood up. "Ready to go?",

"Yes," Dahlia answered. At the moment she wasn't up for much conversation. She just wanted to lie down and relax. Not having to worry about the next order to her life. Before they started to walk she took hold of Julien's hand. No warning, just a sudden movement. She felt safer that way, but she wasn't going to say that aloud. He was just going to have to figure it out. Dahlia walked beside him still not saying anything. Silence was a comfort at the moment.

(MEANWHILE!)

"Tell your Master that he has guests to attend. Beaumont, Robert Beaumont is my name" Ray nodded at the door and walked up the stairs to Mr. Emmessy's room. He knocked three times before entering. Mr. Emmessy was sitting at his desk reading To Kill A Mockingbird. He was oblivious to the fact that Dahlia wasn't in her room. He was used to not seeing her so her absence was normal. "Master Emmessy. Master Beaumont is here to see you," he said before leaving the room. Mr. Emmessy sighed and closed his book. He exited his room and walked down the stairs. "Hello Robert. How may I help you?" he asked.

((Dad's name is Ryan. Just cause.))

Robert glanced across at the interior once he had entered in the Emmessy's home while their butler went to fetch his master. Seeing as Robert had brought with him his two bodyguards with him, Jasper saw no need to get involved and remain in the car. What concerned Jasper of course was Julien with the tone he spoke him when he tasked him to bring his father here so he hoped he wasn't going to do anything too rash. It was these sorts of situations that occur when secrets were kept. Of course, Jasper was only a butler and could not comment on the affairs, just merely do his duty, though didn't stop him from being involved and forming his own opinion of what was occurring.

"Hello Robert. How may I help you?", he heard Ryan say as a smirk appeared on his face. "My son...", he answered simply as he outstretched his hand into the dining room so that they could be seated, giving Ryan only a few moments to show his guests in or otherwise he'd show himself in, for Robert was that sort of guy. Robert was a strict man and such had made the power behind the Beaumont strong and why the Letiya had them to fear, afterall, the Beaumont were meddling in their affairs, not that Robert would admit to such openly. In the end, he wished for a successful business and that his business had a future, that could only be achieved through hard work and brute force when necessary. Knowledge was power, but so was numbers and so was laying down the law.

Once Robert had taken his seat, he then looked round for the butler, but failing that, he would turn to Ryan, "Now for our beverages, these big boys behind me will take coffee, no sugar cos they don't have a sweet tooth. Tea for me, strong with two sugars because I do have a sweet tooth", the end of his sentence forming a smile, before moving onto business, well not quite but he was turning the conversation back on track, "Now while we wait Ryan, my son....what did you think of him? and how was he?...in your opinion of course, speak your mind", curious how Julien was before Jasper recieved a call to bring him here....

(Meanwhile)

Having Dahlia by his side with her full consent, Julien led her away from the sidewalk and into the first taxi they could see as they left the park and all that messy business behind. Messy wasn't the word, but it wasn't what either of them wanted to think of, though such was more Dahlia than himself, but admittingly he felt that Dahlia was right to pull herself away from it for awhile for it was what they both needed. Clearly they just had this come out all at once and it was alot to take in and already, Julien wished to take action without a second thought. He begun to contemplate his actions as he sat in the taxi as they enjoyed a peaceful ride to his apartment. Like he had told her, it really wasn't much but it served its purpose and was certainly proving useful today.

What he did notice but did not comment on, was how Dahlia held his hand as they left the park which clearly shown he had earnt her trust, which was a big change from how distant they were in the park and how they kept several miles apart at college. He wasn't quite convinced or quite sure as to what she thought about him, but right now she had enough on her mind from what their parents had put her through and facing off with Drake. Julien couldn't really say much as he wasn't the right one to speak to about relationships when he hadn't even got a girlfriend, or rather hadn't got a girlfriend anymore. His luck hasn't been so good, though some of it was his fault since he's always concerned he'd mess up and how some only hung around him for the money he had. That was not love, yet it seemed to be what had brought him and Dahlia together through his fathers' arrangement.

Pulling up outside, Julien opened the door with one hand while his other held hers, before paying the driver and making his way out the taxi and looking up at the towers of apartments before looking to Dahlia and shrugged, "Like I said, not much, but it's somewhere at least", as he walked in, gave a wave over to reception who waved back before stepping into the lift. As quick as they got in, they were quick to get out also since it was only a few floors up, before he approached his door. "Keys...", he said to himself before clenching his teeth and began using his hands to feel here and there as if he was looking for them, "awk-ward", he said, his voice trailing, before smiling as he pulled out his key, which he showed her with a smile, before opening the door wide for her so she can enter first, "Voila..."

Ryan wasn't the greatest friends with Robert and may never be. But for as long as his daughter will stay safe he will pretend to be. Despite Dahlia's thoughts, anything Ryan has ever did was to keep her safe. He never wanted her in the middle of his business unless she wanted to be. Since day one his daughter has always come first. He doesn't exactly know what Robert wants for his son or even if his son is an important factor. All he truly knows it the Letiya is after his his business and Robert's business. This is a minor alliance until the Letiya is no longer a problem.

Robert had already let himself in and was seated into the dining room. Ryan shook his head and followed in after him. "Now for our beverages, these big boys behind me will take coffee, no sugar cos they don't have a sweet tooth. Tea for me, strong with two sugars because I do have a sweet tooth", Ryan let out a sigh and waved over to Ray. He nodded and went into the kitchen to get the drinks. Ryan sat on the chair across from him getting comfortable. He wasn't used to people making themselves comfortable especially when they are uninvited. But he wasn't disrespectful so he didn't say anything.

"Now while we wait Ryan, my son....what did you think of him? and how was he?...in your opinion of course, speak your mind", Ryan looked down at his hands and then back up at Robert. "He's fine. Well behaved until he started to ask questions. Then he seemed to forget his manners when I didn't respond the way he wanted," he said. Ray came back out with the drinks. He served the men behind Robert first and then gave Robert his drink. He stood close to Ryan and he shooed Ray away. "Now are you here to set up tea time with my daughter?" he asked with a smile.

((MEANWHILE!!))

Dahlia enjoyed the taxi ride with Julien. She was happy that he didn't question why she was holding his hand. It was just a subtle comfort that she sometimes preferred over hugs. The farther away from the house she got the better she felt. She let out a sigh and allowed the taxi to just drive her troubles away. She didn't speak much since there wasn't much to talk about. She could always Julien about his dad since he is to be her future father in law. If his was worse than hers then she was definitely getting herself out of the wedding.

The got to the apartment complex and Julien led her out of the taxi. He paid the taxi guy and she felt bad. She left her wallet at home, but she wouldn't have let Julien pay by himself. The got through the front door, into the lift, and in front of his doors. "Keys...", she raised an eyebrow confused by what he said. He used his open hand to search himself. She smirked to herself when she realized that he was looking for his keys. "Voila..." she let out a small giggle when he held them up in front of her.

She stole the keys from his hand and unlocked the door. "You were taking to long," she said. She opened it up and she ran her hand on the wall until she felt the light switch. Once room was visible she gave a quick look around as she walked inside. It was pretty simple like Julien had said. She looked at him. "Not bad," she said. She looked down at her hand and back up at Julien. She smiled and then looked away from him. They were still holding hands. She wasn't complaining, but she liked it.

The organisation that Robert had built up, would live up to be his legacy. Though he himself would use the word 'no' when he was not in agreement, accepting the word 'no' was a different story. Robert expects his orders to be followed by the letter, where any deviation in the plans he sets is a clear violation. In a business like the one he and Ryan were in, trust was a big issue, trust in your guards, trust in your partners, trust in your associates, but most of all, trust in your boss. A Mafia group was like one big happy family, where the boss was the head of the family and would do what is necessary to defend its members and do what it takes. However, it took more than simple mathematics when hard decisions had to be made, as sure Robert comes across as a demeaning figure who demands respect and demands that his needs be met, but he sees his actions as necessary,

As he sits at the table opposite Ryan and asks him of what he thought of his son, he wondered where he was. Afterall, Jasper had told him that it was Julien who was summoning him here yet he was no where to be seen, wondering what was going on in the boy's head as the clockworks inside were no doubt ticking. "He's fine. Well behaved until he started to ask questions. Then he seemed to forget his manners when I didn't respond the way he wanted", was his response which sounded about right as Julien was the same with him since he starts respectful, before he then enters a rage and starts going rebellious when his needs were not met. Surely this was a life lesson, the sorts of things that Robert has to deal with pretty often, but of course, Julien's questions this time round was valid but he was determined to keep quiet about it, as the less they know, the better.

"Now are you here to set up tea time with my daughter", he then asked as he shifted the topic to Dahlia as Robert acknowledged and gave him a nod of thanks when he recieved his tea, so now he took a sip after giving a gentle blow before responding, "I would love to do that Ryan. Infact my wife has expressed an interest in meeting her herself. Seeing as you have met my son, seems only fair that we get to see your daughter. My wife has always wanted a daughter, merely because we don't have to deal with the tantrums...though speaking of tantrums, I believe that Julien may have found something because my butler recieved a call with his demand to see me, along with you, hence my arrival", such would explain his uninvited appearance to explain that he was invited in a way. Robert took another sip more before proceeding further, "Has Dahlia confronted you at all lately, as I am curious if it is the case, for such would mean that they are in cohoots and that they are getting to know each other"...

(Meanwhile...)

Hearing her giggle after all the tears that had fallen was certainly worth it, so he was glad that she felt better, a lot better certainly to then snatch the keys off him which made him smile as she opened it and switched the light on after she entered. "Not bad", she commented before she looked down. Curious what was wrong, he too looked down before realising what she too had realised, of how her hand was still in his and yet she did not remove it, she merely smiled before turning away. The last time she looked down to see their hands together was when they reached the dead body and was talking about Drake, before instantly letting go and comforting herself, yet it seemed that she didn't mind him now, despite the years of hatred yet in a day, they had got to know each other and were able to be this close. The sides of his mouth tugged as he smiled, "Like I said, it does its job....Lady is pleased, yes?".

Following his statement, intending for her to turn on head, Julien used his free hand to reach out to her to tidy her hair, gently weaving his fingers through it as he was combing it behind her ears as she did before, ignoring the soft smooth touch he got from her skin as she did so, before ending with a warm smile once he finished, "There..", pausing for a few moments before quickly saying, "So what can I get you? can I get you a drink? or you want to watch some tv? have a sit down? or you want to go bed, or..", not really sure what she wanted as she pointed towards the kitchen and the seating area respectively before ending with a shrug to live it up to her. She was the guest afterall, but it was quite different to bring a pretty girl home and trying not to say the wrong thing. Afterall, hadn't she been through enough, no doubt she just wanted to rest now.

Ryan didn't mind Robert meeting his daughter the only issue is will she come through. She is hardly speaking to him now due to the marriage. Any more commands and he might just lose her. Putting her in more danger than necessary. He couldn't come forth and reveal everything to her. She would be even more mad and then the mafia would break apart. Surely his wife wouldn't allow his daughter to leave with out. "Has Dahlia confronted you at all lately, as I am curious if it is the case, for such would mean that they are in cohoots and that they are getting to know each other" Ryan let out a sigh. "She hasn't spoken to me since the announcement of the marriage. I do not know what she does and does not know," he revealed.

Ryan prayed that she didn't know anything. He looked over to Ray and waved him over. "Yes sir," "Can you fetch Dahlia?" he asked. Ray nodded and left the dining room. Quickly Ray returned with a displeasing look in his face. Ryan frowned. "Is she not coming down?" Ray shook his head. "She isn't there. She left" Ray looked down at the ground. Dahlia leaves like this all the time, but he never allows it. "You and your best men go now," Ray nodded and ran out of the room. His daughter was in some serious danger.

((MEANWHILE))

"Like I said, it does its job....Lady is pleased, yes?" Dahlia turned her head to answer his question. Before a word could even exit her mouth, Julien had combed his fingers through her hair. He placed it behind her ear and she couldn't stop looking at him. She was wondering how she could have ever hated him. There was nothing wrong with him. He was the kindest man she had ever met besides Ray. He put her first many times and he was there for her when he didn't need to be. Drake let her walk, but he followed after. "There.." his words broke her thoughts. She blushed and looked down at the ground.

"So what can I get you? can I get you a drink? or you want to watch some tv? have a sit down? or you want to go bed, or..", Dahlia looked back up at Julien. "Food. I didn't exactly eat dinner," she said with a smile. At dinner she left before she could even finish the tomato soup. She was really hungry and she would kill for some food. "What do you have to eat?" she asked.

((MEANWHILE!!))

Drake pulled out his phone and made a phone all to Bobby. "She is with Julien. Got get her. he said. Then he hung up the phone. He pulled up the GPS app on his phone and tracked her iphone. All he needed was her phone number to do so. He knew exactly where she was. As did the rest of his group. He would need a successful kidnapping if he wanted to be able to take down both mafias. He wanted his group to be the most powerful. He walked out of the park and met up with three burly. Dahlia was supposed to leave the park with him, but she left with Julien.

He walked with the three off them back to the car. He needed to be at her location on the look out just in case she leaves. With all his men on guard, Julien wouldn't stand a chance. Neither would Dahlia.

Robert firmly believed that despite running things with an iron fist, both with his business and at home, that Julien had certainly picked up a few of his traits as such was evident in the call he made, especially to have the guts to call him out and disturb his schedule. Robert did not have any important meetings to make, but it seemed that everything was running smoothly, as it made no difference what Julien thought of him, because at the end of the day, he was doing all of this for the good of his business which would one day go to Julien.

Time and time again Robert had tried to grab Julien's interest, to leave school early and 'study' under him but each time the business was brought up, he always turned against it and now he had become a critical part of Robert's plans. Sometimes he could be seen as cold and ruthless which was true at times, but he would not risk the lives of his own family if he felt he would not succeed. Robert had a strong feeling about this, and felt that if he had revealed his intentions to Julien he would not of accepted such, so what better way was there if he remained silent and cause a rift with himself in order for him to get closer to his ally and fiancee, Dahlia Emmessy. Course, he had told Ryan that it was best to not give them the details for their own safety, but Robert was certainly sneaky.

"She hasn't spoken to me since the announcement of the marriage. I do not know what she does and does not know", Ryan revealed before sending his butler to fetch Dahlia. Julien was exactly the same except Robert made it his business to know what he knew, before his butler returned that Dahlia was missing as Ryan immediately ordered him to go find her. Robert however remained cool and calm-headed as per usual as he merely spoke his thoughts, "It seems quite convienent wouldn't you say, or mere coincidence rather, that Dahlia is missing at the same time when Julien is no where to be seen after demanding my presence here", as he raised his cup to drink some more tea as he lifted a hand to the men behind him who then left.

Now he and Ryan were alone for at least the time being, "You mentioned before about how my son acted up after not recieving what he wanted to hear, how might I ask was relations like between my son and your daughter? I believe that if all was well, and if they are both missing from where they are supposed to be, there is a chance that they are together". As if on que at the end of his 'speech', Jasper walked in with a thin device in his hands, as he then ordered, "Report", in which Jasper replied, "Seem to be in the inner city in an apartment tower. I have given the co-ordinates to your men which they have given to Mr Emmessy's men". Robert smiled, "See, nothing to worry about..", unbeknown to Julien and Jasper that the tracer was actually in the gun that Jasper gave him.

(Meanwhile)

After everything that they have had to deal with so far, it was certainly refreshing to finally have some moments of peace to relax and not worry about either of their parents or the family businesses and the whole ordeal with the Letiya in the park. Here, all that was concerning, was that Dahlia got some rest and peace of mind while Julien had time to think about everything and think about his next move. Though he did not flinch or show any change in his body language or his face when his hand touched Dahlia's skin accidentially, he could not deny to himself how pretty she looked. Sure he regarded her as one of the prettiest girls in school back in the day which he told her when they first met to try and give her a compliment, but being this close to her, he was thinking more along the lines that she is the prettiest, rather than one of the prettiest.

There was such innocence surrounding her, that it seemed this whole ordeal had made her take such risks like the visit to the park to meet Drake. It was clear unfortunately to them both, that the life they were both trying to avoid was now starting to turn unavoidable, but what Julien wanted to understand was why. His thoughts then stopped as he heard her voice again, "Food. I didn't exactly eat dinner....What do you have to eat?", she asked. Out of everything that was on offer, food was the answer as Julien smiled, "Well that's the thing, as I don't spend much time here, I rarely have food in unless there's some tins in the cupboard thinking about it, unless you fancy a takeaway?". Afterall, the fact she hadn't had her dinner properly meant she was hungry and therefore trying to put things together wasn't the best way to go round it to help fill her appetite.

It truly was hard to try and stop thinking about her when she was right next to him, being this close and holding her hand still. Not that he was complaining of course, but it did seem to help him forget about all the mess they were now in, before looking round at the place, satisfied that it wasn't a total tip especially the way some of his guys likes to party. That would of been embarrasing to bring her in and it was messy so he was thankful for that as he begun counting his blessings. Realising his mind has been wandering, "Sorry, mind wandering there, was just thinking of the times I've had in here, but now right at the back of my mind, something is telling me that such times are less likely to happen again. Obviously being in families like ours, everything seems to be all good to be true", ending with a sigh before lifting his hand (which held hers) into the air to point to the kitchen area, "I should have a few bottles left over if you want one, or I can make a brew while we wait", turning to her for her answer. He of course lifted their joint hands intentionally seeing that such was more visble in mid-air than between them to serve as a test to see if she would continue to hold it, though secretly Julien hoped that she would. Sure the whole arrangement and the secrecy was all bad news, but as she was by his side, he was starting to warm up to her.

(OOC: Hope last paragraph sounds alright)
