Hayley Margaret Kennedy, named after both of her grandmothers. She doesn't have any nicknames, unless you include insults like 'bitch' a nickname.

Female, and she is bisexual.

She's twenty four years old.

Face Claim
Actress Lauren Cohan.

She has brunette hair, that looks almost blonde in sunlight. It falls in waves down to just below her shoulders, and though she usually keeps it down, she will tie it back every so often to keep it out of the way. Her eyes are a hazel color, though more so green than brown, and are almond shaped. Her face is oval shaped, almost a circle, and has little blemishes apart from the odd spot every now and again. She has defined cheekbones and her lips are usually twisted into a scowl or smirk. Her complexion is tan, and she rarely burns or freckles in the sun. She has muscular legs from years of running track, but is generally slim - not stick thin, however, that may change if food rations get scarce. She is probably of average height, possibly a bit taller, standing at 5'8. She weighs a healthy 126lbs overall. Even with the recent outbreak, she tries her best to look respectable, though it's hard to find time to apply mascara when you feel threatened all the time. Hayley usually wears simple tank tops or print tees, with a jacket and jeans. She is currently wearing a purple ruffle t-shirt, full length black leather jacket and black skinny jeans.

Hayley is sarcastic. This is one of the main aspects of her personality. She seems to have a witty retort to any insult that flies her way, and her humour is very mean. She tends to find humour at the expense of others funnier than anything else, and witty humour such as puns and irony are also favourites of hers. The main reason for her sarcastic tongue is the fact that she despises embarrassment, and so deflects insults or anything else potentially embarrassing with sarcasm and witty retorts. Her mean humour probably comes more so from the fact that she is very blunt, and that she never sees how her insults could actually be insulting, since she is very thick skinned and rarely takes mean comments to heart, though it depends on what has been said to her.

She can be deceptive and manipulating, which is very much helped from the fact that she is a good liar. She is quiet and sneaky, and of course fast, so if itcame to it, she could probably outrun an attacker. That being said, even though she has little upper body strength, Hayley could easily take out an average male, though it would be a very different story if the male had experience in fighting. She is also quite shallow and vain when it comes to others appearances, though this may change if she were looking for a long-term partner, as usually her relationships don't last longer than a week.

She is wearing a black leather jacket, a dark purple ruffle top, black skinny jeans and dark purple converse shoes. She also has a large, dark green backpack, containing two bottles of water, one half empty, a few packets of crisps/chips, two tank tops, an extra pair of dark blue jeans, her phone, a kitchen knife, a pistol, a silver necklace and about ten thousand dollars in cash. Admittedly, the load is far from light, but beggars can't be choosers and Hayley certainly wasn't considering this when she packed.

Where They Were When Outbreak Occured
Hayley had just arrived back from making a deal with a client - she was, per say, a specialist to put it lightly, or rather a thief and a con artist, lying and deceiving others to get money, stealing rare and expensive items to sell to wealthy clients. She was about to get out of her car when she noticed someone walking towards her sluggishly, moaning quietly to themselves. Instinctively, she grabbed the pistol from the passenger seat - with some of the clients she deals with, you can never be too sure -, and got out of the car. It was then when she noticed that the man had strange eyes, almost glowing. She held her gun at her side, prepared to shoot if in danger. She slowly backed into her house and locked the door behind her, before racing up to her bedroom. With no thought but to grab as much as necessary, Hayley threw in an expensive necklace she had lined up for a client, some cash, an outfit or two and her phone, stuffing them into a dark green backpack before heading downstairs. Moaning at the door indicated that she didn't have much time left. Panicking, she grabbed a knife from the kitchen counter, extra defence for if this glow-eyed person got too close to shoot, as well as two bottles of water and a few crisp/chip packets. The only thought she had during all of this was, "Is that thing a freaking zombie?"

She opened the backdoor and looked for any signs of undead life, before racing out. She was a few blocks away when she considered turning back. Maybe the glowing eyes was just the light shining on them. She continued walking anyway, but less rushed and panicked. She had placed her knife in her bag, but kept the gun in the waistband of her jeans. She paused to take a breath, when she noticed more of the glow eyed people. "Oh my god," she breathed. A couple of them were unnoticable, their heads low, seemingly not attacking anyone, but she noticed most of them shuffling towards someone, seemingly with purpose. Hayley's stomach flipped over. She wondered if she was going mad.

Then a few came towards her, arms flailing wildly. She panicked, and grabbed her gun, shooting at the heads, which resulted in several screams from passersby. Unsure if the wounds would kill these half dead people or not, and knowing that someone would probably call the cops to arrest her for shooting, she sprinted down the street. As soon as she got out of town, she would be okay. She walked down an alleyway, a shortcut to her street. The glow eyed person who had previously been scratching at her door had left, and she got in her car and drove off, determined to get as far away as possible, not stopping, the only thing keeping her updated to the outside being the crappy car radio.
{ got it finished even though this segment here is shit oops. }

James Winter Monroe

It's been nearly a week since the first biters started showing up, at first only a few, but as soon as they hit the cities... It didn't take long for the military to step in and start evacuating civilians. That's how I ended up in Zone 14, but not as a civilian, I escorted a convoy of trucks across the Texan border and into the stadium. It's not looking good here, too many people and not enough supplies to keep everybody fed for more than another week or two. We've lost contact with Zone 13 and the last air drop scheduled didn't come. I fear the worst is already upon Zone 14, how much longer can we pretend this place is safe?

Winter snapped his journal close, standing from the metal foldable chair that sat in front of a small table in the tent he had been assigned to. Tucking the small notebook into his back pocket he placed the pen he had been using behind one ear, rubbing his cold hands together. Even with his long sleeve shirt and thick pair of jeans, the fall air still made him shiver as he ran a hand over his head and then his eyes, rubbing the sleep away. Grabbing the heavy coat draped over the back of his chair he shouldered it on quickly and pulled up the hood as he zipped up the front.

Ducking outside through the tent's flap he squinted against the weak noon high sun that dared to peek out from behind a heavy rain cloud. It hadn't started raining yet, but the dark and forbidding skies were keen to release the water at some point. The stadium was at it's busiest, people bustling around like ants as food rations and supplies were handed out by men and women in army uniforms at tables. Beside each table stood two heavily armed guardsmen, their suspicious eyes looking out for any who may try and get doubles and also looking for any who showed signs of sickness.

Just like the many others around him, Winter searched for the shortest line, stepping in behind those who were also waiting. Feet shuffled forward slowly and people were served, though it seemed like forever, until Winter had come to the front of the line. Digging into his front pocket he pulled out his ration stamp card and slid it across the table. The woman there glanced over it and then nodded to a boy standing next to her, he disappeared for a moment and came back with an EMR package and a bottle of water, the woman stamping his card. "Next!" She called out, handing Winter back his card.

"See you tomorrow, Julia." Winter gave a charming smile as he picked up his food and water, winking as he scooted past the man next to him, stepping out of line. A shoulder bumped into his, causing his stuff to fall to the ground, the quickly walking person who had ran into him barely batting an eye as they stumbled on. "Well excuse you..." He muttered, glaring over his shoulder as he bent down to grab his stuff, brushing the dirt off.

((OOC:Hey y'all, I finally decided to post, I was tired of waiting. I tagged all the characters who have been accepted (I don't have the power to accept those who haven't, sorry) in hopes to get this thing going. Hopefully you haven't lost interest and will join me...Pretty please, with a cherry on top? Any questions can and should be posted in the OOC.

Thanks much,
