You and a group of your closest friends are on the road towards what you think is going to be the trip of a lifetime. Excited, adrenaline rushing through you veins, you can't wait. But despite all of this, you felt like something was off ever since you passed that bridge. The night seemed to get darker, the winds stronger. You havent passed a single home in miles. You swear you saw a face peering into your window a few minutes back, but your friends just laughed as you jumped from your seat-

They didn't see the hand tracing the frame of your face or the lips whispering taunts into your ears. You could feel its breath trickling down your neck.
"Guys, lets turn back, i'm scared."
You practically begged, tears almost trickling down your cheeks. You weren't crazy, you weren't over reacting, something was there, sitting right next to you. Watching you. Regardless, your friends seemed deaf, continuing on joking and laughing with each other. Suddenly you feel a finger tracing down your arm, you pull it back and you see a faint glimpse, undeniable, a hand retreating back under the seat. Before you have a chance to speak, you're there. The sun's rising, you finally make out the extravagant cabin in the distance.

The set-up so far is that you've just reached the cabin, all you know is that you're here for a two week long vacation with a few friends.
At this point, any new characters joining the story will not be traveling with the group initially. They'll have to of found a different way to of reached the cabin (I.E Cop, Hitchhiker, Ect)
The roleplay well focus on the character's relationships and how they deal with the threat of an imminent death. I plan on immersing you writers as much as possible, I want to make you feel the fear that your characters are feeling!
The actions of the characters will decide who lives and who dies, so choose wisely
The role play is a forum/chat hybrid so we'll be taking advantage of the chat window and the activity tab. Collaboration between writers is encourages. This roleplay will always be open, characters constantly finding themselves lost in the forests of Eden.
For certain parts of the story, I'd like to organize a time where everyone could get on the chat tab to play out the scene. (This well happen very rarely)
Also, feel free to jump in and RP any time you want. You cant grab a partner and RP a scene whenever. That kind of character development is instrumental to the plot.
At this time, I'm only taking Ten characters, but if you really want a character that's already been taken (An additional boy/girl) let me know and ill see what i can do. Being highschool students, they should be between the ages of 15 - 18. A first wave of students will be killed off immediately after their entrance post. To be completely fair, ill be rolling dice to select the students who die in the first wave. I'll be doing this until there are 6 characters left. After this point, the deaths of the characters well be determined completely by their actions.
Periodically, more spot well open up. Refer below to see if a spot is open.

Patrick Miller
Entering the building he surveyed around and looked for nearest place to plan. Dropping his rucksack, he found a sofa.
Falling down on the cushiony material Patrick smirked and let his eyes wander towards each and everyone of the girls.
There was the grunge reject Charlie, she would be a screamer that's for sure. Although he wasn't into the whole look she had going for her. Dirty blond hair with more make-up than a Hot Topic's band catalogue. He heard stories about Charlie, if he was bored enough, drugs could tempt her. Not exactly last choice, but not the best candy he seen, plus virgins had more going for them, Charlie was as much a virgin as Patrick was a saint.
On to next girl, a natraul red head, but did the carpet match the drapes. He sniggered out loud, and continued. From trip he had heard her name was Callie, and she had a lot going for her, the innocent, the naivety and the ability to shape her according to his whims. Although would it be worth it? She would need a bit of coaxing, alcohol would help a lot, but he only had so much 'supplies'. Would it be worth it, was she a screamer, or was she quietly moaning? Hmm, she seemed promising, but Christmas presents can suck.
Low and behold we had the lithe one, flexible and very fit. This one could be a lot of fun if he could use her insecurities against her, to get her to be interested in him. Although he had been fooled by skin before, and those who show a lot, well they tend to not be as good when unwrapped. One thing though, it was easy to undress her in his mind, not much left to imagination leg wise, but top wise, well that could be fun.
Now there was the fake red-head but nothing else seemed fake no sirree, infact seemed very real, and though she wore make-up the 'lil whore, that was something you had to deal with often. Now as for her look very young looking, but she had said she was 16, that was good enough for him. So really sounds worth it, now would she be a first choice or would it be best to go with another one. The younger ones often wanted boyfriends and expected them as such, but broken promises never did any harm.
And finally the actual blond, pouty lips to boot and a great bod, he knew her name as Ella from school. Unfortunately not had a real chance to try her. But as for best chance he had, she seemed the most straight forward and probably was also a screamer.
Well that was that settled, time for a celebratory drink, his holiday was sorted, sex drugs and sex again.

“Nice place,” Charlie commented as she set her bag down at the side of the couch Patrick had flopped into, surveying the cabin with a thorough walk around the living room, picking at the décor and nodding and 'mmmhmm'ing like she was an actual appraiser. “Very-ah Frank Lloyd Wright, right?”
She eyed Patrick as he studied her before she clicked her tongue. “Psh, don't stare if you're not gonna make good on it,” she taunted with a sniff, placing bejeweled hands on her hips. “Toss me a beer, Richie Rich.” She held a hand out as part of the demand.

The setting changes from Living Room to Eden City
”I’m not sure why you think it’s okay for you to just disappear for the week.” Shaun growled as he stood outside Andy’s front door. “Have you talked to mom and dad about this? You’re going with that goody two-shoes Gabe? And a bunch of other pot-heads?”
“Beats being home.” Andy replied, acid in her tone. “Especially if you’re going to be here…”
Shaun had shoved her so hard that her head rattled, spots appearing behind her vision. She was fortunate enough to get inside the house and lock herself in her room before he could do any more damage.
Andy was interrupted from her quiet musings when a very distinct smell permeated the vehicle.
“Ok, seriously guys! If you’re going to crack a jack, open a window or something!” Andy shouted towards the back of the van. The entire car was stuffy, in spite of the air conditioning that Gabriel’s poor vehicle was trying to pump out. Of course, the red head was mostly kidding, but in an environment where everyone was sitting in cramped quarters, the smallest infraction of personal space was bound to be misconstrued. For Callie’s benefit, Andy signed what she said, and glanced to the side of Gabe’s face as he drove.
That boy…
There was something distinctly different about the way he’d been treating her lately. Not just in the car, but in the few days leading up to their big trip. She’d always been pretty close to Gabe, closer than she had been to any guy, so the subtle things she’d noticed hadn’t really come as some kind of a big surprise at first. But now, with the small smiles, his occasional embraces, even reaching over to just touch her shoulder, to convey comfort, it was hard for her to ignore that something was off.
At the same time though, she couldn’t say that she minded all that much. It wasn’t that Gabe was bothering her with his…advances? She wasn’t even sure what to call them. But with the anxiety she’d started to feel towards the end of the trip, and the sense of claustrophobia she got as they pulled up to the Cabin, she was starting to read into things a little more than she was used to, and it made her feel uptight, uncomfortable, even a little concerned.
It wasn’t all that fair, really. For all she knew, Gabe was just being his normal, comforting, caring self. She liked him for that. Everyone did. He was a good guy.
Making eye contact with Callie, Andy reached over and prodded the girl in the shoulder. “This’ll be fun.” She promised, smiling and turning back to face the front just as Gabe went and pulled into the long drive that sat outside of the Cabin.
“Everyone grab their own shit!” Andy hollered as she pushed the door open and all but spilled outside. Gravel crunched under her sandaled feet, the smell of pine and fresh air nearly making her sneeze with its freshness. Andy wrinkled her nose, scratching at a spot behind her ear before going to the back to start unloading everyone’s suitcases.
When she found her own beat-up duffel, she yanked it out of the pile, slung it over her shoulder, then stood by and waited for Callie to get her things. The red-head would help where she was needed, but for the moment, she felt it was safest for her to remove herself from the chaos that would be initial unloading and re-loading of the Cabin.
This cantankerous group of teens was going to be making some noise, and a serious mess by the end of this trip. She just knew it, and the thought had her smiling wide.
"Callie!" she called should the girl happen to look her way. "I'm heading inside. I'll save us a room, ok?"
She took a few steps back, waving to the girl before turning on her heel and stepping inside. There was Patrick, the one serious problem with the entire trip, looking for all the world like a child in a toy store. She gave him a slight smile for politeness' sake, then walked past him, deciding that she'd play it safe and just put as much distance between him and her as possible. She'd have to watch Callie around that one too. No sense in letting her get mixed up with his type.
"I got the room FURTHEST away from the bathroom!" she shouted out of the bedroom towards the others.
“Beats being home.” Andy replied, acid in her tone. “Especially if you’re going to be here…”

Patrick tugged his rucksack up and threw it open declaring loudly, "I christen this place PARTY CENTRAL. May we all bathe in the nectar of the Gods." he then pulled out a two packets of beer and ripped one off for Charlie and another for himself, "Hey nerd boy put on the fucking sound system we pulled you here for!"
Sitting back he smirked and replied to Charlie, "I wonder what you look like without that make-up, less like a Hot Topic's reject I bet."

Sitting back he smirked and replied to Charlie, "I wonder what you look like without that make-up, less like a Hot Topic's reject I bet."
Upon entering the cabin, Devin had already made a few back and foths to carry 'certain' accessories into the building. Hey, a tech guy can't go without his beloved technology! Still, he couldn't help but pause a moment in his virtual world, to admire the nice, comforting cabin.
"Neat. Now, where could I drop my gear?" The tech asked, as always he'd be the one asking such things first...
Devin shrugged lightly, just tossing said bag of gear in the hallway and take a seat on a free couch spot. He glanced at each of member of the friend group, well the ones he knew actually.
Ehh, always that hectic when you first arrive. No time to relax at all. Ah, Devin enjoyed the many noises, really made him feel homely. "Ah, I'll just grab whatever bedroom is left." The tech lightly shrugged as he rose up from the one-minute-rest and tried his best to not get into a giant mess with the others, by securing his bags safely on his person.
"Hey nerd boy put on the fucking sound system we pulled you here for!"
That much hated label. Hmm, wouldn't surprise Devin from someone he didn't really know that well. What was his name, Pete, Pat, Patrick? Something along those lines. "I was pulled here for a good time, not to work as your slave. And I suggest you call me Devin, I despise the 'Nerd' thing." Devin frustratedly glared at the jerk. He would've installed it anyway, would it not be for this annoying jack-ass to bump in and call the techy lame names. He turned his back to the guy, focussing his mind on installing the sound system and make it operational for some sweet ass music.

That was a weird car trip, Stefan didn't know how to describe it any other way. Gabriel seemed to have taken the scenic route as well making it feel like it was longer then it was suppose to be. Stefan thought just for a second his stomach was going to revolt on him and that would have been disastrous, especially for Matthew, who was between him and a girl that Stefan didn't know. Her name was Callie, she was a friend of Andy's and that was about it.
It was an odd pairing, because Callie seemed awfully quiet for the loud-mouth Andy. Stefan just took the time on the way up to look out the window and listen to his music, a mixture of almost everything under the sun. He had revamped his playlist so he was prepared for the trip up. He hadn't told Gabe that he was prone to car sickness and wasn't about to be booted from the trip because of the fact. When the van stopped he took a look around after getting out, and stretching. He needed the bathroom, grabbing his bag really quick, he headed inside. After the bathroom he found himself in the living room and finally took his headphones out of his ears. The buzz stayed there for a second before it went away.
He glanced at Patrick the asshole, and rolled his eyes. The to Charlie, whom he just sort of half-smiled at while he looked for somewhere to sit away from party central. He heard Andy claiming a room as far away from the bathroom, and Stefan grimaced slightly at the thought. He hadn't thought about sharing a room with anyone.

Calleigh still had no idea what made her agree to this trip. Actually she did. It was Andy. Her best friend. She couldn't say no to anything Andy said. The girl was so upbeat and could talk anyone into doing what she wanted, especially Callie. It wasn't in a manipulative way either. It was just Andy and the fact that Callie could never say no.
When Andy turned and signed something to her, Callie cracked a small smile but she was too out of her comfort zone to really mean it. She didn't know anyone here but Andy. Big crowds often made her feel claustrophobic, especially as they were all crammed into a car. Because of that, Callie was often winding down the window for air and then closing it when it got to cold.
This happened every five minutes or so. Car window down. Car window up. Car window down. Car window up.
Andy had promised that this would be a fun trip but it didn't seem so fun right now. Even as Andy poked her and told her once more that it would be. It didn't seem like it.
The car came to a stop and Callie loved the look of the cabin. It seemed beautiful. Getting out the car she moved around to grab her bags, looking at Andy and watching her lips move so she could understand what her friend said before giving a faint smile and a nod. She grabbed her things, listening to the silence that she was surrounded by twenty-four seven and sighed before carrying her rucksack inside.
She eventually found the room Andy was in and threw her back on the bed, already opening it to unpack. "I'm glad to be out of that car. I was getting claustrophobic in it." Her voice was off because she couldn't hear. She hoped Andy could understand here. She was always self conscious of speaking. She only ever spoke to Andy normally.
Hopefully this would fly by with as little misery as possible. Her plan was stick by Andy. And maybe Gabe. He'd been nice when Andy had introduced her to him.
When Andy turned and signed something to her, Callie cracked a small smile but she was too out of her comfort zone to really mean it. She didn't know anyone here but Andy. Big crowds often made her feel claustrophobic, especially as they were all crammed into a car. Because of that, Callie was often winding down the window for air and then closing it when it got to cold.
This happened every five minutes or so. Car window down. Car window up. Car window down. Car window up.
Andy had promised that this would be a fun trip but it didn't seem so fun right now. Even as Andy poked her and told her once more that it would be. It didn't seem like it.
The car came to a stop and Callie loved the look of the cabin. It seemed beautiful. Getting out the car she moved around to grab her bags, looking at Andy and watching her lips move so she could understand what her friend said before giving a faint smile and a nod. She grabbed her things, listening to the silence that she was surrounded by twenty-four seven and sighed before carrying her rucksack inside.
She eventually found the room Andy was in and threw her back on the bed, already opening it to unpack. "I'm glad to be out of that car. I was getting claustrophobic in it." Her voice was off because she couldn't hear. She hoped Andy could understand here. She was always self conscious of speaking. She only ever spoke to Andy normally.

Mathew passes one guy with his awesome dribbling skill, then another. He can pass it to the open Van Persie but he doesn’t. Selfish bastard. Two more men are left in his wake. “I look like yer fuckin' mom is what.” Charlie scoffed as she cracked open the beer and took a sip, re-shouldering her bag and calling over to Gabe, who'd organized this whole mess and was kind enough to invite her, though she wasn't really sure why. She appreciated the gesture, it was nice to get out of that humdrum town they called home. She had wanted city lights and urban trendspotting- but she supposed a fancy cabin in the middle of bumfuck nowhere would have to do.

Without waiting for an answer, she clicked her way down the hallway where the bedrooms were and selected the first one that didn't already have somebody's bags in it before dumping her stuff onto the bed. Gabriel stopped the car cautiously, bringing it to a steady, careful halt. He smiled as he took in the extravagance of the cabin, he'd never stayed in a place like this before. His happiness was short lived, peering over at Andy. She really was a sweet girl, and Gabriel cared for her more than anything. Seeing her hurt like this, even if she refused to admit it, killed him. She saw what that bastard did to her, how rough he handled her.
He approached him that day when Andy disappeared within the house. Putting a rough hand on his shoulder and forcing him back against the wall. "Are you kidding me? Who the fuck do you think you are?" After a loud shouting match between the two, Gabriel finally calmed. "She's my sister and i'll do what i want! Stay out of it cuz if you piss me off, ill take it out on her" Gabriel despised that mans smirk, but he lowered his arms not the less. What was he supposed to do? Knowing Andy, she'd never admit it. She'd be stuck in there with him.
None the less, he spent the rest of the weekend in his car, idly waiting for a scream or a reason to intervene. He'd linger by after he dropped her off from school each day, just for a few minutes... He wanted to make sure she was safe. It may of seemed odd to others, but not to Gabriel's friends. They knew what kind of guy he was and how much of a sweet spot he had for Andy. In a situation like this? It's not odd that he'd take it so seriously.

Stepping out onto the gravel, he quietly pulled his bag over his shoulder. He couldnt manage to keep the smile off of his face, realizing he was about to spend the best week of his life with his closest friends. He slipped his hand onto Devin's back as they entered the cabin "You ready bud? This is gonnah be the weekend of a life time" He pushed forward, dropping his bag in a nearby bedroom before slipping back into the living room. "Worth all the money we spent on it?" He laughed, speaking to anyone who cared to listen.
He over heard Patrick's insults, turning slightly to look at him. "Lay off man" He looked back to Devin, flashing him a slight smile. They had been friends since they were kids, he thought of him as a brother.
He caught Andy out of the corner of his eyes, leaving the room to walk next to her. "Hey, ready to check this place out?"

Andy Brannan glanced over her shoulder at Callie, grinning wide as she unzipped her duffle bag and began to toss a few of her things out onto the bed. Admittedly, she was pretty stinking excited, even if she had to deal with Ass-hat Patrick and Gabe's, well, persistence. She didn't mind either, really, so long as she was able to come back to quiet Callie at the end of the night, and just enjoy being with her.

Charlie Lapore had settled in quickly, finishing the rest of her beer and popping down into the couch next to Patrick, though obviously she was miffed enough with him today to not spare him a second glance. She stared fixedly at the glass coffee table before her, making note of a small crack in the corner. Out of habit, she removed her phone from a pocket and clicked through it. As was the horror film cliché, there was no reception.
“Hnn. How the hell am I supposed to tweet shit now?”

Callie started to unpack her things with Andy. She was glad Andy was here to take control of things and keep her safe. If she was here by herself with a bunch of strangers then she'd be having a panic attack currently. Andy was a true friend.
"You sure we'll have fun here? I don't like the look of some people." She frowned at Andy. When Gabe appeared, she watched her friend and the male interact. She fell silent again, focusing on unpacking. While Andy was off exploring, she'd just stay in the room. She didn't want to go out near the others. They were all strangers.

Gabriel Smith took her hand and lead her through the house, coming to a stop at the pool. He peered down at her, looking into her soft eyes. He opened his mouth, about to release the words that were burning against his lips, but he caught them. He stayed silent.
He didnt want to ruin this trip for Andy, he decided that it wold be better to confront her about it at the end of the tip. Stefan knew she wasn't talking to him, so he kinda wondered over to a window to look outside. He spotted the forest off to one side, "shit that looks like a scary place." He sighed as he took a chair near the others, he was trying not to be anti-social, especially since he knew most of the people. He wondered where Gabe had wondered off to, probably somewhere with Andy. Stefan took his phone out...no reception either. He couldn't even call to check on his sister, hoping she will survive in that house without him for a week. Of course his sister had turned into this tough little girl, who didn't take his mom's crap. "Devin," he spoke up for the second time, "you bring any sort of entertainment."

Callie frowned, panic swelling inside her. She was alone in a bedroom. In complete silence. She just quietly sat on the bed once she'd finished unpacking and waited for Andy to come back.
As Gabe's hand encapsulated hers, she looked back to Callie with a slight smile on her face, then allowed herself to be guided out of the bedroom. There had been something Gabe wanted to say, but hadn't. She had no interest in trying to figure out what that was though, so she just, well, maintained her peace for the time being.
When they came to the edge of the pool, she stood back to give Gabe his space while he stripped to his skivvies. "I thought we had to get drunk before we started taking our clothes off..." she said, loud enough for others to hear. When Gabe made to push her into the pool, she screeched, clinging to him tightly as the pair of them fell into the water together.
"You slimy...ACK!" Andy spluttered as she pushed herself to the shallow end. "Away with you, you creep! I would have changed into my swimsuit if you'd ASKED me nicely!"

“Maybe later, Pat.” Charlie responded, helping herself to a second beer as she watched Stefan totter over to the window. The kid had always been the quiet sort, and frankly, Charlie was hesitant to talk to him, for fear of pulling him out of some important reverie. So she drank the new beer, having no trouble in keeping up with the rich boy to her right. “Too far? Feh, hon if you go too far you'll know it because you'll have my foot up your ass.”
She laughed good-naturedly, turning around on the couch so her knees were on the cushions as she turned to watch Stefan be a wallflower. “Come socialize, Stef-” she started. “To be disgustingly cliche, we won't bite.”

Gabriel Smith Crashed into the water, Andy clinging to him like a child. He smirked as she pushed away, slowly making his way to her. He slowly pushed her against the edge of the pool, holding onto the edge with Andy in between his arms.
He laughed at her quips "Shhh! It's no fun if i told you" He looked down at the water as he pushed away from her, repositioning himself next to her, leaning against the edge of the pull. "Plus...your face was priceless" He couldnt help but laugh.

Wallflower...really, Stefan smiled slightly, "you might not, but not so sure about rich boy over there." His opinion of Patrick was one of the worse, why had Gabe invited him, more then once he had found Patrick to be the ass that everyone thought he was. "So Charlie," hoping he got her name right, "what brings you on this trip." It probably was the worse possible opener he could think of, but at least maybe it would get the conversation started.

Devin sighed, a frustrated tone leaving his lips. "Well, at least you are ready and set to go." He patted the sound system on its head, tuning in for soft music as he pondered on what to do. The tech thought socializing would be one of the better options, and such he glared around the cabin in search for someone to get acquainted with.

Somewhere on the other side of the pool, her sandals floated idly, too buoyant to sink to the bottom. When he drew close, she relaxed her head back against the edge of the pool, keeping her hands to herself as she rolled her jaw and turned her face to the side.

She felt like she could breath when he finally moved away, settling next to her instead. That was good. Much safer.

Callie jumped a mile when Devin poked her. She stared at him confused for a moment, like a deer trapped in headlights. After a couple of minutes of awkward silence, just staring at Devin, Callie finally managed to form a sentence in her mind.
"I'm deaf." She spoke quietly, her speech was off because she couldn't hear herself talk. "I didn't hear you come in."
