Introduction
You are a racer,
sponsored by a company to simply drive the race. You can only get in with a sponsorship, so you're lucky to have gotten in. As soon as the paperwork is all filled out, work begins immediately. The company wants you to create a custom vehicle and to arm it with the most powerful shit they can get their hands on, and they'll gladly throw it away for you if you don't like it. Why? Because, if you win, they get advertising rights to all monitors until the next race, plus the fame that is generated. Any and all corporations with enough money to get in does, as you, and in return, them, appear on the monitors during the race itself. The corporations are putting their all into you, don't screw up and die on them, otherwise they lose the race.
Race rules:
A racer can have up to six corporations sponsoring him/her, but a corporation can only sponsor one racer.
A racer's vehicle must be wheeled.
That's it. You can kill, mutilate, rape (Just to show how brutal the race is, not allowed during RP!), or ignore the other racers at your discretion. Nothing is stopping you from strapping that multi-million dollar rocket launcher to your car except your budget (which, for most racers, tends to be bottomless).

Race details: We'll be posting in Places. There are 7 races:
United Race: Taking place in the US, the United Race is a circuit race with three laps. It rests on the ground, but goes through a fake city to mix things up a bit. The racers may rush through the city through any route of their choosing, but there is only one entrance and only one exit. The rest of the course is a dirt road with plenty of bumps and jumps, with a muddy area to slow down unprepared racers.
Argentinian Race: The newest course. Taking place in south America, its a straight up race. It is a twisting course, with lots of fast turns and quicksand. Kinda confusing, and collisions are common.
African Race: The oldest and most devious, with massive dips and dangerous turns that drop off to 2000 ft. canyons. The locals also set up mines and other such traps along the route. They said they have a special thing for this years race...
European Race: A race from Greece to Rome... Underwater! This track has had the most casualties, as it is, quite simply, just a massive tube with a flat surface built into it for the racers. A few minutes after the race starts, explosives are detonated, causing the track to start filling with water. Its a race against time to see who can make it before they're forced to sleep with the fishes!
Asian Race: The most popular of all the tracks. With various traps and secret routes along the track, the track crew holds nothing back, whether it be a bumper that launches the car into a different route, or a hidden ramp that leads to a shortcut that closes behind you.
Antarctic Race: A fairly difficult race depending on the opposition. Its a race built into an iceberg, and you have to get from the bottom of the track to the top before the giant heaters placed beneath it melt the track. The car and person, of course, usually survive long enough for rescue teams to save them before the heat kill the poor guy. Very twisting, composing of ramps and stairs that test the drivers ability to make quick decisions to prevent them from falling a floor or falling off the entire iceberg.
Australian Race: This is the last race! It's a straight up death-match, not even a proper race! Weapons are mandatory. The only goal: stop the other vehicles from being able to move, by any means necessary!

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 2 authors
"Racers, ten minutes until ready!" Shouted the speakers.
The setting changes from United Race to Earth
Xavier shoved himself out from under his vehicle, Rusty, which he had been making last minute repairs on. He nervously bit his lip, looking around at his competitors. There were a lot, which made him extremely uneasy. The red-head opened the door and leaned into his car.
"Is everything ready, Rusty?" Xavier asked his car, probably appearing insane, but the interface replied.
"I'm completely ready to go," Rusty said in an American accent, sounding completely human. The sound of the car speaking made a few racers jump, and Xavier couldn't help but smirk.
Xavier didn't bother to even pay attention to the others surrounding him. He hopped right into Rusty and got his headphones plugged in. "Rusty, tell me if the announcers say anything else," he said as he slipped his headphones over his ears and took a sip of the water bottle sitting beside him in the cup holder.
