Setting
Built much before The Queen's reign, it is a city of tall old buildings laced in forgotten majesty sitting beside the river Yehr. The old splendour of the aged architecture can still be seen, especially in the stone work and timber frames. Even though the keep of these ancient treasures hasn't been met, the city stands as an unpolished diamond radiating an air of grandeur in ruins.
The paths are narrow and winding, with more people on foot that in transport due to the lack of space. Beggars sit dotted amongst the feet.
Cradling the large city is the surbubia of small towns enshrouded in smog and soot. No bird song lace the air, only the clanging of metal against metal. The warmth comes not from the sun but from the furnace that birth the machines. It was a grim place and it is in this suffocating cluster of buildings where The Queen makes her toys.
Beyond the suburbia is sprawling lands of charred meadows.
