Full Name: Karol Angelo
Nicknames: Karol is fine as well as anything that is not insulting.
Age: 25
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia
Ethnicity White; North American; descended from a French/Italian family.
Sexuality: Straight

Coven: None, but when I attended school, I was in Merlin.
Specialty: Healing and Protection
Abilities: I am most gifted at healing and benevolent magic. My powers are such that I can bring a man from the brink of death into full health and vitality. My shields and barriers can withstand even the nastiest of hexes. I am intimately familiar with nullifying and disabling harmful Magyks and malevolent Magick Users. Perhaps my most feared ability is the ability to disconnect a victim from his own Magyk, rendering him normal. I have only done so once. Elementally, I am adequate with fire.
Familiar Agape, a butterfly, is my familiar and my dearest friend. Although small and frail compared to others' familiars, Agape is resilient, loyal, and full of compassion and wisdom. He often follows certain students or people around either because they may be troublemakers or he judges people to be of need of help and protection.

Personality: I am often kind and good-humored with a fondness for his students and a certain indulgence for their youth and inexperience both with life and Magick. I am, however, strict when it comes to learning the material he teaches and has no tolerance for the abuse of the gifts that his students are given. Thus, because of past experience with them and their well-deserved reputation, I keep a close eye on Circe Coven and have a dislike for casual use of Black Magick which I would rather seen untaught at Fae's Academy. Nonetheless, I treat even those with the polar opposite of his personality kindly and without judgment.

I am a religious Christian, non-denominational, and regard Magick as a gift from God and use it with care with the only goal to teach or help others (though, I might use a spell to summon a particular book from the library or bottle of brandy on a shelf I just cannot reach). I have an old-fashioned form of Southern chivalry instilled to him from birth mixed with a relaxed tolerance picked up from my short life. I can often be found encouraging students to integrate themselves with worthy causes post-graduation and leading a small prayer group for students on Sundays.

Likes: Kwan, Latin, Greek, instrumental music, good liquor, good jokes, books, Benevolent Magicks, religion, manners, relaxed conversations with his fellow students and teachers, sugar.
Dislikes: ...Kwan, Cruelty, Abuse of Magicks, bullying, intolerance, religious fundamentalism, disdain for those who do not practice Magick.

History: Ilived a comfortable early life in a middle-class family in Georgia. I was close to both his parents as well as his brothers and sisters. I was a kind-hearted child that went to church every Sunday and loved to read, particularly fantasy and religious texts. I had always been fascinated with the stories of King Arthur and Camelot, particularly Merlin, though my parents slightly disapproved. I was close with Pastor Peter, the minister at our church. He was a kindly old man with a disarray of white hair and bright blue eyes that sparkled as though he knew something you didn't, but it wasn't smug, more like that of a mischievous joke. It was he that discovered my first spell, a simple healing spell of some scrapes from when I was playing outside. Rather than spout hellfire or fear, however, Pastor Peter recognized my talents and told him what it was: Magick. He revealed himself as a wizard and told me about the magical world, capturing my imagination and reassuring my fears with "No, this comes not from Satan. Far from it, my boy."

Nonetheless, when I turned 16 and revealed to his parents my powers, they were frightened and angry with him, even as I revealed Pastor Peter's involvement. We fought and I did not speak to them for my entire first year at Fae's Academy. Nonetheless, Pastor Peter practiced patience and his own magick of kindness and love and eventually, I was reconciled with his family. At Fae's Academy, I became one of the more prominent members of the Merlin Coven and showed myself a prodigy within his specialization of Magick. There were many bitter incidents with Circe's Coven, however, in part because of my strong religious beliefs and in part with my strong support of the Merlin Coven's standards and beliefs. I eventually graduated and returned just three years ago to fill the post of the Healing and Protection Magick Teacher.

Karol Angelo

Professor Angelo observed his students with an approving eye, though he was careful to show the bare minimum. They needed to be on their toes for the Trial today. He did not trust Professor Guarini to interfere on time should any of the students grow out of hand. In fact, he rather thought the other professor would interfere with his own attempts at moderating the event as was his right, Karol admitted inwardly. However, Guarini was ruthless and did not care for any student outside his special group of favorites. It worried him more than he would admit that a student would be permanently harmed or even killed in one of these Games. Frowning slightly as he gazed at the shields the Merlinites were currently maintaining, he spoke.

"Where is Atreyu?" he asked his students. None of them wanted to answer him, an innate loyalty to other Coven members he was well aware of. He sighed and addressed one of the students.

"Please find Atreyu, Aedan. Remind him that Professor Guarini is rarely soft on those who are not prepared for his Trials. He should know better," he stated. Aedan suppressed a grin at getting out of practice, but Karol saw, "And bring him directly here."

Aedan rolled his eyes, but ran towards the dorms anyway. He wondered what Atreyu was doing, anyway. Probably charming some girl, he noted.

Ethan Holler

Ethan smirked over at Ever, teasing her slightly, "I don't know. Should I tell Aedan that you are into older man, Ev? He'll be heartbroken!"

He held a hand to his chest, "It is not his fault he hasn't slept with a multitude of male and female students when he was supposed to be teaching him. Or that he didn't sell his soul for eternal youth," he told her dramatically, spouting the latest rumors about their Battle Magick Professor.

Among the Merlinites stands a young woman with dark hair and chocolate eyes, quiet as many of the others chat and jest about how they are going to do during the duels. This is not due to a particular lack of social tendencies, for the young woman does like company as much as the next, but for lack of a natural eloquence that she believes should be required in general conversation. This silence is not noticed very easily, however, now that they have moved on to the hands-on training, practicing defense and attack strategies against each other in order to prepare for the Medeans. One thing about that house to be envied is their diversity, something which would give them the edge in the duels, certainly. It is a fairly recognized truth that the Merlinites will use white magick, with perhaps the exception of some gray thrown in here and there, and therefore counter attacks can better be prepared against them. The Medeans, however, have a great range of specialties and skills, able to dip into dark or light magick as though they are standing in the key spot to reach out and grab either side of the table. Besides that, battle magick isn't really the type which Eileen specializes in. Her protection magick is quite good, perhaps, but one cannot simply defend throughout the entirety of the fight. Unless you wear them down and then attack, she thinks to herself whilst maintaining a protective shield. Many major spells require words to be spoken, and that is clearly something that she can't do without screwing it up because of her damn stutter. It is rather likely that her part will be a combination of healing and doing physical work- she had always been the athletic sort, after all. Technically, she could work to unravel the ties between the Medeans and cause feuds. However, she is a Merlinite, and using the power she had over the connections that bind people is against her morals.

Eileen could feel a slight squirming in the front pocket of her aviator jacket, alerting her that Gatsby had finally gotten around to waking up. What's going on? Are the trials today? He squeaks nervously, the mouse's head peeking out of her pocket slightly to look around before hiding back into it, the pebble around his neck not giving him much reassurance. I don't like this. That Professor Romeo guy is running it, yeah? Oh my. Don't get killed, Eileen. Be careful. Run away if necessary, okay? Those Medeans can be scary, the familiar continues in that anxious way of his, one which makes the young woman want to roll her eyes a bit. I'll be fine, Gatsby. Go back to sleep- you are going to distract me.

The Medeans were supposed to have met with Professor Kwan to prepare for the coming trials today, but James had made the executive decision to take the scenic route on his way over, though he does indeed head in the general direction of where they are supposed to be going. One flaw with his abilities is that they all require some sort of physical contact, something that he muses rather wistfully while walking. This would mean that he actually needs to get close enough to touch someone in order to use any of his specialties, and his main talent requires the presence of someone else. All the same, his ability to broaden the range and increase the power of someone's spells is quite useful, for it can make a mediocre spell grand and a powerful spell unimaginable. It is a pity that his ability doesn't work on himself- the only effect it seems to take on the young man would be the fact that he feels every emotion to a far greater extent than other people tend to. That hasn't really been the greatest thing for him, even though his happiness is about as good as being high because of the surplus of chemicals charging through his mind. James turns a corner and sees some of his Coven -though by all means not all of them- in the distance, headed by Professor Kwan, the Jade Child who mentors the Coven. He had once thought to ask what being a Jade Child meant, not being particularly well-versed in old mythology, but simply brushing past the professor had given him knowledge of it, though not all for her mind was well guarded, and that had been back when his control over his own abilities was somewhat. . .lacking. There is the sound of barking behind him as a medium-sized Shibu Inu runs up to the young man and jumps on him, though too small to knock him over. He grins down at Jessie, his familiar, Where've you been?

You are the one who left without me. Couldn't have waited a few more seconds? The dog scolds before falling into trot beside him as they reach the Medeans and join the group, though slightly on the fringers.

"Y-yeah, maybe cutting d-d-d-down on th-the movies would b-be wise,"

Chrissa nodded in agreement. She gave a slight smile as she remembered Eileen trying to get to sleep with headphones on. That girl was a very light sleeper. Anyway, she had finished watching all of the movies, so her late-night movie marathons were over… for now.

Chrissa searched through her pocket. She wasn’t looking for anything in particular; it was just something she did when she was anxious. Unsurprisingly, she found her cap. You might be wondering why she has a cap stuffed into her pocket. Well, it isn’t just your average cap, it’s an invisibility cap. It randomly showed up on her bed with a tag saying ‘put it on’. Knowing how curious Chrissa is, she did. She decided she was going to take it into battle, no one knew about it, except from Eileen, and it would give her an extra edge against the Medeans. She grinned at Eileen mischievously, and Eileen could probably tell by the Yankees cap in her hand that she was up to something. Chrissa played about with her hair, and waited for Proffesor Angelo to speak.

Ethan Holler

"My dear, Liberty, you are the very model of generosity. I shall be sure to repay you," Ethan told his roommate, giving her a wink and a not-so-innocent smile before grinning as she and the new guy flirted with each other. Everybody loved her. Still, their flirting bugged him for some reason. He didn't know why. Shaking his head, he conjured another goblet of wine.

"I would love to see the Medeans and Merlinites play with each other. In the meantime, you can enjoy my own specially conjured wine. It may not be as good as what I took, but it is a blast. And, afterwards, you are cordially invited to my celebration of the new school year. There will be cute guys, girls, whatever catches your fancy, and, of course, me," he told her with a grin.

Joey, for his part, chittered over at Mama Boa, "Took you long enough to get here."

He then offered her a mushroom.

Karol Angelo

"The Medea Coven is unpredictable. They have no set modus operandi and they thrive on that. However, they are not without their weaknesses and I am certain you know most of them well enough. Still, you need to maintain a perfect defense against their attacks and, when you see the weakness in their armor, attack with precision. I know you are talented and learned. Here, you may show it," Karol told his class.

He frowned slightly, however. Where was Aedan and Atreyu?

Aedan McKlellan

Aedan knocked on Atreyu's door, "Yo, are you decent man? I hope that you are not oversleeping. It is such a drag when Karol is mad at you. He doesn't let you get away with anything."

"You missing one, Kwan?" As a member of staff approaches, dragging an unfamiliar young woman with platinum blond locks and an expression of great irritation, James looks over at him and smirks slightly at the look of unhappiness on the girl, who is probably one of the new students. He hasn't seen her around, but then James didn't come to the school early this year- he only really arrived a day or two ago, and hasn't bothered to look for any new faces, because doing so didn't really seem to have any use for him. The young woman is fairly attractive and looks like she has a completely nasty temper, but doesn't look particularly harmless either. He therefore doesn't pay a large amount of attention to her, though Jessie growls slightly, looking somewhat annoyed at the presence of the girl. Her familiar is a cat, the canine familiar explains, spitting out the last word as though it were one unfit for polite society. Jessie seems to follow the pattern of her species with her great dislike of cats- she just seems to find them endlessly aggravating.

James only snorts in amusement at his friend's typical reaction, Calm down, Jessie. I hardly think that the cat will be an issue for you. He scratches the dog fondly behind her ear.

The next time that Eileen glances over at her roommate and friend, the young woman is pulling out a familiar Yankees baseball cap, one that Chrissa had shown her a while ago, as well as told her about its mysterious appearance and the cryptic note which had arrived along with it. Chrissa grins at her mischievously when she catches Eileen glancing over at the cap with curiosity. She's going to use it in the trials? Well, I guess that will help against the Medeans, Eileen muses, the thoughts prompting Gatsby to poke his nose out of the jacket pocket again to look over at the hat, which he recognizes as well, of course. The furry little guy seems as though he is about to say something, but only sighs mentally before falling back into her pocket to curl up and sleep, because he hadn't had anything to block the movies' noise last night, and thus had been left more awake than Eileen had. She doesn't say anything, primarily because she uses her words somewhat sparingly, although less conservatively around Chrissa, but also because Professor Karol appears to be about to speak once more.

And speak he does, voicing the concerns which Eileen had been feeling, about the versatility of the Medea coven and how they would use it to their advantage. He advises that they remember to keep up a strong defense, something that Eileen is actually quite good at, especially when she is also wearing one of her own pieces of protection jewelry, and to only attack when an opening is clear. That doesn't really leave much room for risk, but it is the system that Eileen would have gone with anyway, because her offensive abilities aren't strong enough to randomly shoot around. She notices that the professor soon frowns, and guesses that it is due to the absence of two prominent members of the coven- Aeden and Atreyu.

“Me? Shame? Of what? Of being super hot?” He grinned and pulled her close, pressing his forehead to hers. “If I hid all this, I would be depriving you of viewing the ninth wonder of the world.” He offered another classic goofy smile before letting his lips brush against hers. “You taste like. Vanilla. And paper. And Australia.” He suppressed a laugh before standing, holding her in his arms as he did before. “And what do you mean come to my senses? I think that finally telling you that I love you is the most sensible thing that I've done since birth.” He spun around with a smile and whistled for Heath to follow. The falcon took off from his perch and took up a new perch on Amarina's shoulder. Your shirt looks better on her than it does you. The bird screeched with laughter, causing Cheveyo to roll his eyes. Just as they got to the door, Aedan started knocking. Sighing, he swung the door open. “'sup, McKlellan. I got up at five this morning to knock out my training with Professor Guarini and Professor Romanova. I'm good to go. Tell Angelo that I'm spending the next few hours with my girlfriend. If I train now, I'm going to be really tired and overall, useless in battle.” Cheveyo gave Aedan a light nod before moving past him. You know Karol will have your head for this. He might not let you compete. Heath tilted his head some. “Let him try.” Cheveyo shrugged. He respected the Merlin man, but the past few years, he just didn't feel like he belonged with Merlin. “So – We could run into town and grab something eat. Like ice cream.” He looked down at Amarina, wondering if she'd like to go.

Divinia smiled lightly as Sunday blushed before scurrying away. Such a darling little girl. She looked so innocent, but she was far from it. She then glanced over to Pippa. She had noticed the way a slight of jealousy would spike in the woman's Aura every time Divinia interacted with Sunday. Disregarding the questions Pippy had asked, Div moved forward and grasped her girlfriend's face gently. “Davvero non hanno nulla da essere gelosa, il mio amore. Sai che sono di gran lunga il mio preferito. Alcuni bambina non potrà mai prendere il tuo posto. Anche se, ho davvero piace come la gelosia appare su di te. È talmente una svolta.” She purred against Pippa's lips gently, softly whispering the words, letting her hands travel down to Pippa's waist so that she might pull her closer. She ended with a kiss, sucking gently on her bottom lip. “Cheveyo and Amarina have finally decided to make it official. Without my blessing, unfortunately. I will deal with them later.” She sighed, brushing a few strands of hair from Pippa's face. “I will be inviting Romeo, of course. And Ever. Xavier, DeAngelo, Drago, Sasha, and Alexander. You know. The usual.” She offered a light shrug. “We should -” She paused, her baby blue rolling to the back of her skull as she grasped Pippa's shoulders and dug her nails in. In her mind she saw a vision of a beautiful Grecian woman striding across Fae's lawn with a look of confidence and an Aura of darkness around her. “Lamia.” She whispered the name of the Head Mistress who had left on business that Divinia was one hundred percent sure had to do with Eden's Blade. As the vision faded, she straightened herself out. “Seems that our favorite toy is coming back home.” Hecate shook her head, muttering to herself. Whore. “I believe the term is polygamist, dear Hecate. How many times must I remind you?” She sighed and stroked the heavy snake's head. “Pippa, my love. I have a gift for you. I nearly forgot. Come.” She wrapped her hand around Pippa's and began to head for the Circe territory. She had Eileen charm a mirror for her to give to Pippa. She had gotten the idea from Drago who had gotten the idea from Beauty and the Beast. That boy and his Disney...

DeAngelo had pulled a book out of his jacket pocket and was writing in it with great passion. It was his journal and he was recording in it everything that had happened since he had gotten off of the plane. He wrote of meeting Pippa, his sister's favored lover. He wrote of the strange Sunday Cortez. A small beauty. Such a misunderstood girl; he knew the feeling. He frowned and wrote some more, unaware of Cupid approaching him until the boy had spoken. He looked up, startled. He was quick to shove the pen and journal back into his jacket. He looked up and was about to answer until he had gotten a good enough look at Cupid. He struggled for words as Cupid's voice seemed to take hold of him and make him think of nothing else. “...” DeAngelo simply stared into Cupid's eyes for two whole minutes. He didn't mean to be quite so creepy. DeAngelo just couldn't help but to digest and process everything that happened. He always overthought things. It was because of this that he would often pause for a long time before answering people or would simply stare before starting a conversation. That and he had to shut out all the voices in his head that were the thoughts of others so that he could distinguish what was being spoken and what was being thought; people got a little bit freaked out when he answered questions or made comments about the thoughts in their heads. Finally, he blushed deeply and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “Apologies.” He took a little bit longer to reply – He wasn't forced to speak English very often and while he knew the language, he was better at reading it than speaking it. “Si – I am in Medea. And...according my sister and Signora le Feuvre, Professor Kwan is training all of Medea for some...Trials. But – If I wasn't mistaken, you must be at least a second year to participate.” DeAngelo smiled bashfully and took Cupid's hand in the same gentle manner that he had done Sunday's. Turning it so that the other male's palm faced upwards, he placed his lips gently against the heel of his hand, almost on his wrist. “I am DeAngelo Pagliarelli – Its my first year here. To whom do I owe the pleasure...?” His bright blue eyes turned upwards, glancing into the latino's face.

Drago watched as the others ignored Xavier and dispersed. “I think Professor Guarini might want to select a new set of elite.” He smirked, shaking his head. “Though, from what my sister says – That would be you, herself, Pippa, Sunday, Aurora, and myself. So few out of so many.” He gave a light 'tsk tsk' and shook his head before taking hold of Xavier's hand. “One of the two, yes.” He and his brother greeted people in the same way. He turned Xavier's hand so the palm faced upwards and kissed the heel of his hand. “Drago Pagliarelli – You must be Xavier St. John. My sister speaks quite highly of you. And we both know how rare it is for her to speak that way of anyone outside of the family.” A smirk graced his face as he stepped even closer, flexing his muscles just to show off. “I assure you that I am just as intrigued by you as you are of me. Join me for dinner tonight?” Unlike his rather shy twin, Drago was a lot more forward when flirting. His gaze was lustful as he bit down on his bottom lip, gazing over the older male that was standing before him. And like his sister, it was never really a question. He was simply polite enough to pose it as one.

Sasha glanced over at Iain, clapping her hands gleefully. “He will be in Puck! There is no doubt about it!” She giggled happily, bouncing in the chair. “Thaaaank you, Iain! Gotta go now!” She blew a kiss and dashed out of the office, dancing around quite happily. She fist pumped, closing the door behind her. “Hey, Klaude! We're getting Cheveyo!” The giant Roc was circling the school, casting a shadow. Are you positive? I thought Iain said that you all would have to have a conference of sorts first. “Details, details!” The Russian flipped her hair over her shoulder and huffed some. Your students are talking again of having relations with you. Klaude began to shrink and dove down towards the school before flying into a nearby window, landing on Sasha's shoulder. “Let zem talk. Who am I to crush their precious dreams? I stand against such things, you know.” She waved her hand, walking down the halls on the tips of her toes. You should do so before you earn a reputation such as Romeo's. That would not be a good thing. Klaude warned her as Sasha exited through the front doors of the Academy. “And why not?” Hrutao had come forward, holding his head high proudly. “I do not understand the mind working of these bipedal creatures.” The stag sighed irritably. “Well – Let's discuss it, then.” Sasha snapped her fingers and watched as an olive tree sprouted from the ground. Flowers lifted from every step that she took as she climbed the tree and laid her body across a low-hanging branch. “What is there to discuss? You fleshy, bipedal, creatures are so hypocritical. Let us take for example this situation. Romeo is highly attractive by human standards. As are you. You are both well over centuries old. But it is more acceptable for you to have sexual relations with teenagers than he simply because you are female. How is that in any way intelligent or fair?” Hrutao had folded his legs underneath his body and was looking up to his partner. Klaude had landed on a branch near Sasha. “I agree. I have yet to understand this logic.” The bird canted his head to the side, looking to Sasha who threw her hands up. “Don't look at me – I don't follow said logic because I find it equally as retarded as you do.” She and her companions laughed some and went on about the strange customs that people of the 21st century followed. So many things had changed – Some for the better and some for the worse. She, Iain, Romeo, Lamia, and even Pippa would often reminisce about their day and age together. It was a lot of fun. She smiled, closing her eyes as Klaude and Hrutao bickered about trivial matters. She took a nap right there in that tree, being the first thing one would see coming up to the school.

Romeo glanced up from his daze to see that Sunday had come in. She was a pretty enough young woman with quite an...obsession for him. She thought it to be secret, but it was highly noticeable. The way she fawned, stormed away when his attention was on others. Particularly Xavier. He found that jealousy was never attractive on anyone. He sighed as she inquired about his hunger status, placing his fingers to his eyes. Were she in any other Coven, he would have long since snapped at her in a most cruel manner and sent her scurrying with her tail between her legs. But she was in Circe and despite how annoying her constant offerings were, she was still attempting to be kind. “Thank you. But no thank you. I am saving my appetite for tonight's party. I like to have a variety to choose from.” He did his best to refrain from feeding outside a select few students. Those whom he knew for sure could handle it. He knew without a doubt that the minute he so much as brushed his fangs against her supple flesh she would become more persistent than ever before. Normally, he had no qualms with sharing his bed with his students. He had started sleeping with Divinia when she was sixteen. But Sunday, he saw as a child. Not just because of the way that she appeared. But as well because of her mindset. He was no fool. He saw how she idolized Pippa and Divinia – He thought it was cute. And he didn't want that. He liked confidence and independence. A slight bit of sadism was nice too with a dash of masochism. Sunday would forever be a child in his eyes and he just didn't have the heart to tell her. Instead, he had his Unholy Trio on the mission of finding someone else to win her affections. It was then that Aurora Carrington walked through the door. Now there was another female that he enjoyed keeping company. Her mind was intriguing, to be honest. She both hated and loved her Coven which quite frankly confused him. He knew that she liked to see others in pain, yet she hated Divinia for being a bully. But at the same time she respected him. If anything, he found her complicated. “How may I help you today, Miss Carrington? Come for some extra credit?” He grinned in the dark slyly, resuming his usual flirtatious mannerisms.

As Professor Angelo spoke, Chrissa became less and less nervous. She was reminded that Merlin also had versatile abilites, for example herself, she could control ice, imagination and... greek gods? She glanced at Eileen. She'd obviously seen the New York Yankees cap that Chrissa was still clutching on to. She reached inside her bookbag, which looked like an oversized messenger bag, and to her surprise found a chicken baguette. She happily eat the sandwich, after all it was better than eating slightly out of date mints.

She sighed lightly. She was going to practice summoning a god. Before you ask, It isn't the actual god, more like a clone of them. She wasn't in the mood for fainting, so she would try something easier than the three main gods. She closed her eyes, and whispered the words 'Θεοί και Goddesses από αρχαιοτάτων χρόνων, βοηθείστε , μου ...' even though it wasn't Ancient Greek, normal Greek seemed to do to trick. Smoke swirled around the small space in front of her, until a human or human-like thing materialised. The goddess had long blonde hair that came down to her lower back, bright ocean blue eyes and a shimmering white dress that was adorned with gleaming crystals. There was only one person it could be... Aphrodite.

"Hello, my name is Aphrodite. Goddess of love, beauty and pleasure." She smiled, and it felt like the whole room lit up. "I was sent here to bring you this" she handed Chrissa over a can of Coca-Cola. She was confused, but still smiled. You don't want to get a goddess- or a clone of them- angry.

"What exactly is this for, your highness?" Chrissa didn't really know what to say to Aphrodite.

"It's love potion, sweetie. And just call me Aphrodite." She winked. "You'll need it soon if what i've predicted is right... anyway I'd better be off. Got things to do back in ancient times. Bye!" Without a warning, Aphrodite was gone. Just like that.

[I'll have Ryder up by tommorow in my time- which is British time XD]

"Alright. It's always fun to watch Liberty train a new boytoy," Ethan stated lightly as he chose a random direction and started walking, intentionally not allowing himself to look over at the two. This was shaping put to be a really down day, it seemed. Quite honestly, it wasn't like him to allow anything to get him down, but with the combination of his crush getting together with Atreyu and his roommate eying another guy like he was a new piece of candy, Ethan was forced to face the reality that he was painfully single without so much of a fling to boast about lately. Really, it could drive someone into high risk behavior. Speaking of rich, he waved his hand and his goblet was overflowing with wine once again.

"I think this is my favorite part of the school," he announced as they, appropriately, found themselves before a series of greenhouses containing numerous plants and fungi, both mundane and magical. He took out a metallic pick and and rather unconventionally, unlocked one that contained a series of berries and fruits. The air was heady with sweet smells of ripening fruit. He grinned happily.

"This particular greenhouse was dedicated to Dionysus. Or Bacchus. I don't remember what form he was wearing when I heard he appeared here. Rumor is that he tried to entice a few girls to become Maenads, those crazy female followers of his. Pissed Karol and Sasha off." he laughed.

Aedan McKlellan

"Dude, if I knew you could skip training to spend time with your girlfriend, I wouldn't be going at all," Aedan told him with a grin before shrugging it off. He laughed, "Well, I don't know what Professor Angelo is going to do. You'll probably be called into his office."

Nonetheless, he didn't look too bothered. If Atreyu really did train with other teachers, then their professor would give them some slack. If not, then he wasn't too bothered if Atreyu got his ass kicked in the Trials or got a detention.

Karol Angelo

The Merlin Professor nodded in approval at the shields and barriers students projected as well as their healing spells. He spoke, "Right. Now I would ask you to practice your offensive and support spells."

James had only just turned his eyes back to Professor Kwan when the cat from before, the one who belonged to the girl with platinum blond hair, suddenly launches itself at Jessie, who had done nothing but growl at the wretched little furball. The cat claws at Jessie's muzzle, causing it to bleed, but doesn't dart away entirely unharmed, for Jessie is no pushover. The dog bites down on the cats tail as it runs away, enough for a slightly sickening sound to be heard as the flesh of the tail bends beneath the canine's pointed and strong teeth. Certainly not one to be left in the state she is in, Jessie immediately darts after the slippery cat, whose name is apparently Beelzebub by the shouting of its name. Watching the two creatures dart away, James swears under his breath, but doesn't bother shouting out to the dog. He has been with her long enough to know that it would have no effect whatsoever, especially as she is out for revenge against the fleabag who bit her. Damn cat. I knew there was a reason that I hated the things. I mean, vicious is alright, but that was just annoying, and fucking psychopathic, he thinks with irritation, side glancing towards the owner of the abominable cat, who is being yanked back by her color to prevent her from running after the animals. Not that she would be able to catch up, of course, for both of the familiars are out of sight by now, likely to chase each other around the entire campus before hesitating in the slightest. Well, Jessie is, at least.

The young man watches Kwan defend Morgana, to some extent, not even bothering to look away- the rest of the class doesn't. She looks like a cat too. Morgana? That name sounds kinda familiar- like Le Fey?

Eileen merely raises an amused eyebrow at Chrissa as the girl summons a clone of a goddess, one of her specialties, which turns out to be Aphrodite. It doesn't take a very large amount of focus for the young woman to keep up a shield, and her love for mythology and books has lead her to always be intrigued by her roommate and friend's gift with the figures of ancient Greek religions. What amuses her is the fact that the goddess hands a coke can, apparently filled with a love potion, and informs Chrissa with a teasing wink that she will probably be needing it soon. Honestly, Eileen can hardly think of a good reason for this, though perhaps she needs to tempt someone into their favor during the trials? Not that there aren't people, though not really in Merlin, who have the natural talent of inspiring lust, desire, infatuation, etc. Even Eileen, though she wouldn't dare, could prompt some sort of attraction between people with outstretched hands towards invisible strings that few others appear capable of seeing. Other than allowing her to keep people together, seeing the strings has also been able to alert her to the abilities of some others- for example, a strangely rapid knot formed when Sunday sings to someone, one which is tight and complicated, yet easily unraveled once her voice fades away. She is taken away from her distraction at the returning voice of Professor Karol, who asks that the coven now practice offensive and supportive techniques. This leaves Eileen in a slightly awkward position, though in the end she decides to protective supportive by encouraging unity.

When she had been younger, the young woman saw the red strings always, incapable of controlling the eyes which gift her with the ability to do so. It had been fascinating but often an inconvenience- which is why she is glad to now be able to turn the vision on and off, almost like flicking a switch. Eileen blinks, and by the time her eyes have reopened, in the manner of mere seconds, the world before her is crisscrossed with thin red strings which everyone else seems to ignore. She sees friendships, romances, unrequited loves and magnetic hatreds. She knows where all the familiars are by the distinct pink threads which tie people to their animal counterparts. Eileen reaches out a hand, to everyone else appearing to be reaching towards nothing, and takes a string between two Merlinites into her hand. It is one of friendship, but the connection is beginning to fray dangerously, symbolizing a falling out. The young woman, knowingly meddling in affairs which are not her business, places the frayed section between her palms, and then releases. The bond is sealed once more, though may still be severed if she does not interfere, should it reach this state again.

Ethan Holler

"Yeah. Smokin' hot, though. And I hear they do things that only the insane would think of," Ethan told Liberty and Alistair with a grin as he bent down to examine the plants beside Liberty and murmured a few spells, awakening them as they grew livelier and larger in tandem with her and his powers. He smiled slightly. Liberty was smokin' hot herself. He flushed lightly, almost imperceptibly. Would she like him that way, though? They had been friends forever. Shaking his head, he continued.

"I'm guessing you guys have read the Percy Jackson books? Annabeth sounds hot. So does Clarisse in the "lay down and let me have my way with you" kind of way," Ethan stated with a grin. He held out his goblet and a bunch of berries fell into it as he used his powers to crush them into a sweet berry wine. He spoke a quick thanksgiving to Dionysus.

"Dionysus, god of wine and good times. Thanks for this gift," he murmured before his eyes widened as Alistair took a bit. He gulped, "Uh... Alistair. Dionysus likes to be thanked and he's sort of... temperamental in his old age."

Clouds seemed to darken the greenhouse and he sighed.

"Not good..."

Aedan McKlellan

Aedan returned to class with a placating grin on his face. Karol eyed his suspiciously. The professor asked, "Where is Atreyu, Aedan?"

"Oh, just having a good time with his girlfriend. Don't worry, he had a training session with a couple of his teachers," Aedan announced, causing both Karol and several of Atreyu's admirers to grimace. Karol sighed, pinching his nose.

"I will have to talk to him. I'm surprised you didn't run off with Ever," he stated.

"With Kwan watching her class like a hawk? I value my life, good sir," Aedan told him and Karol looked thoughtful. Kwan commanded more fear and respect than he did. That simply would not do.

"Alright, allow me to demonstrate how it is to take away an opponent's magic temporarily..."

Aedan McClellan

Aedan sighed as he walked through the forest. He really didn't like the thought of running into Ever during the Trials. He couldn't stand hurting her, though he knew she could definitely take care of herself. As he walked, he heard the crack of a twig and he immediately jumped to the side to see a Circe witch, smirking as she shot a nasty-looking purple curse at him. He dodge tot he side and raised his hands, causing a giant tree root to grow around her and bind her arms together.

"You let me go, you Merlin bastard! You think you're a Puck or something?" the witch growled. Aedan grinned.

"Actually, I think of myself as Hashirama," he stated as he turned to walk through the forest. The sooner Merlin won this, the more likely he wouldn't run into Ever. He hoped Ever wasn't guarding the flag this time, though.

He entered a clearing and saw her.

"Ah, shit. Can rough sex count as fighting?"

Karol Angelo

The healing professor sighed as he took a spot in the staff area. The students hadn't injured each other enough for his intervention yet, which he was grateful for. He remembered almost dying in one of his Trials when he attended Fae's Academy and he hoped that the school did not have a mortality this year. He glanced at Ian and nodded at Kwan in the distance.

"I am grateful Romeo allows us to monitor these fights."
