Alistair William Talsworth

"Because lightning is awesome," Ali said simply. "Do I really need a better reason?" The most impressive (and awesome) thing he could do was to fire off a small bolt of lightning. Well, 'small' was relative - compared to an actual bolt, which leaves a bigass crater, it's fairly small, but he could still flash-fry most things. So far he'd only practised it on rocks or tin cans (lightning was remarkably easy to aim - he had a target, and the lightning seemed to want to hit it) but if there were going to be arena matches, well, he'd need every possible trick up his sleeve. Including maybe a few of these alchemy signs...

"Listen, Hrutao was showing me the way to the coven dorm, and I'm pretty sure he's tired of waiting by now-" He nodded to the stag, a gesture of gratitude for his patience. It paid to make friends with the literal teacher's pet. Familiar, whatever. "-so you wanna come along? We can catch up on what's been goin' on these last few years, yeah?"

Ever laughed at his comment. "I suppose not." She said with a grin. She considered the possibilty of using her abilities during the Trails. If she could get her Coven to protect her. She could inturn boost their abilites to face off against Merlin and they're powerful students. She decided then she was going to make some symbols to place on her Covenmates to boost their powers up until an actual face off. She'd just try her damnest to avoid Aedan all together. They worked when they were on a team. She could boost his power and he could protect her while she did. This was gonna suck not having him on her team.

Alistair then asked her to accompany him to his room. She should be heading to class but she needed to get more Alchemy paper from her room anyway so she decided she'd tag along. "Yeah, Sure. I gotta get some stuff from my dorm anyway. I can only assume you're in Puck yeah?" She said factoring in how well she knew him and that Professor Romanov's Stag was trotting behind to whom she smiled at briefly. "I'm in Medea, Go figure." She said with a shrug and a giggle.

"What can I say? I'm a fun-loving guy." Ali grinned a goofy grin and hopped into a brief cartwheel to illustrate the point. He always was an athletic type of guy. Funny that the average school didn't have a stereotype for someone who owned at gym and played class clown. "When I found out there was a coven for folks who're close to nature and love to laugh, I just demanded to be put there. Then they told me they'd already assigned me to Puck, but I demanded anyway. A man's gotta have his principles, dammit!" He thumped his palm with his fist.

"So, uh... What's Medea about? I mean, word on the wind is Circe are the evil witches with the poisoned apples and Merlin has the stuck-up guys in robes, but I didn't hear much about your end. Please tell me that's not where all the hot girls went." He covered his face overdramatically. "I'd be so embarrassed transferring after all that."

Ever rolled her eyes as he cartwheeled. She forgot how much of a show-off he could be. She was beginning to remember why she liked him so much. She abandoned that thought quickly. She laughed when he went on about his choice of covens. "Okay then." She said with a smile.

"Merlin's not stuck up. Everyone in there is nice." She said honestly but also defending her boyfriend's Coven. "Nobody uses poison apples anymore." She said and couldn't deny that they could be real bitchy. She laughed her loud Ever laugh when he asked about all the hot girls but decided not to comment on that part.
"Medea is right in the middle between Circe and Merlin. Capable of great good or great evil." She said reciting the words Professor Kwan Yin used her first year. " It all depends on the person. I'm personally right in the middle. I'm friends with everyone but I'll still kick your ass." she said with a mischievous grin. "Our Magic varies too. Like my Alchemy isn't light or dark magick. It depends on the wielder. Some people don't even consider it magick at all. I heard that there's gonna be another alchemist in the school so far I'm the only one." She said with a shrug.

"My intel needs work," Ali muttered at the revelation that Merlin was not, in fact, the snooty type. This was what he got for relying on wind spirits for info. They were great gossips, but mainly because gossip was all about getting half of it wrong and making the other half up. "So that's covens in a nutshell, but how 'bout the teachers? You've been here a while, you must know'em by now. C'mon, gimme the dirt: Who do I smile at and who do I steer clear of?"

Whenever he went somewhere new Ali tried to get a feel for the place quickly. Usually this was a process of walking around, doing whatever and seeing how people reacted, but he wouldn't turn down free advice if he could get it. He knew he was going to be spending lots of time with Prof. Romanov, partly because she was the Puck mentor and partly because she was smokin' hot, but he hadn't met any of the other teachers yet.

Ever smiled. "Well to Start there's Headmaster MacLean. He was a Merlin mentor and he's History of Magick and Magickal Symbols teacher. He's like ancient but really cool. He's got that Gandulf thing going just more smooth. He's very quaffed." She said with a laugh. "Don't be afriad of asking him anything. He's heard it all and he's pretty lenient. He helped me with my Alchemy symbols first year. I was terrible at it but he helped explain it to me. " She explained with a shrug.

"Then there's Professor Angelo. He's the mentor for Merlin and the Healing Teacher. He's cool too but he's kinda stiff, needs to loosen up a bit. I wouldn't cut up around him. He has this disappointed face that makes you wanna just die." She said feigning fear. "Speaking of Death. Professor Guarini. He's...something special. He's got that whole vampire thing so ehh, you get what you get with him. He's nice to me though but I'm cool with everyone." She said with a giggle." You being a dude, I'd steer clear for now and try not to piss him off." She said with a shiver.

"Then there's Professor Kwan Yin. She's my mentor and my like second mom but most the Spellcasting and Potions Teacher" She said. She hardly considered her real mother a mom so she called her Aunt her first mom and Professor Kwan Yin her second. "She's doesn't play around and has this whole, Don't be a stupid boy when it comes to the guys, only that usually only happens after she's been talking with Professor Angelo. Those two fight like an old married couple. Most of us think they might be dating or rather 'hooking up.' Just try not to bring it up. They try to hate each other but they totally have a thing for each other." She said with a laugh. "You really don't wanna piss her off. Cuz, she's Medea. She most definitely put a spell on you if you aren't careful. So just behave.

"Then there's Professor Romanov. Also Cool. She's got that whole forest faery thing I wish I could pull off." She said laughing. "Elemental Magick and Familiar teacher. She's your mentor." She said with a pat to his shoulder. "But I'm sure you know that much. I think she's cool." She said and then thought. "I need to ask her about Muppet. She's doesn't talk to me, like everyone else's familiar's do and she hasn't grown an inch since she found me." She said thoughtfully. Now Muppet was tripping out and even bit her. "Anywhoo, I think that's it."

"Wicked," Ali remarked. "Gotta admit, I've never been to a school with teachers this... interesting. I mean, aside from one of them being a vampire and another's, what, some kind of fairy? So, to recap: H.M. MacLean, big cheese and resident cool old guy; Prof. Angelo, classic case of pole-up-the-ass syndrome; Guarini, avoid at all costs- You never said what classes he teaches." He paused. "Eh, sure I could just skip that one. Anywho, Kwan Yin, sounds pretty nice, don't talk about Angelo; and Prof. Romanov is the supermodel fairy that I get to call my mentor and make everyone jealous. That about it?"

As he spoke he was turning the whole thing over in his head. He could see Elemental Magick being high on his list of priorities, and he could probably rope Dactylos into some Familiar lessons while he was at it. He had a weakness for hotness of the female form, and they had a weakness for his. Whatever Guarini taught sounded like something he could write off as 'Don't need that!' and never look back. Hopefully. Judging by Ever's shivery reaction to the thought of him pissed off, it was safest health-wise to just be somewhere else. Besides, his blood had Zeus blood in it. He'd probably look like some kinda delicacy. Oh, the perils of being special.

What exactly Kwan Yin defined as a 'stupid boy' he'd have to find out before her next spat with Prof. Angelo. Or he could just screw up and let his mistakes guide him, since it sounded like the worst he'd get was a tongue-lashing (woah, that sounded way dirty...). That did sound more fun. As to Prof. Apollo, well, maybe he'd take a healing class sometime, maybe he wouldn't. Didn't sound like the teacher was really that bad. And as for the H.M.O.C. (Head Mofo In Charge) he sounded downright decent for an authority figure.

Cheveyo smiled and stood up, cradling her in his arms. As far as he was concerned, she was his world. Not that she never was before. To be honest, it didn't matter who he was with or what he was doing, since they had become friends, Cheveyo was always there at her beck and call. “Of course I'll help out. Not that I'll know exactly what to do – But I could try.” He grinned some at her as he began to walk towards the Merlinite dorms. He wasn't sure how to set up for a party – He always only just showed up. When she mentioned that she would like for him to put on some clothes because of girls staring, he gave a light smile and kissed her nose. “Anything for you, love.” He understood and was alright with her request, more than happy to comply. Just as he opened up the door that lead inside, a girl with red hair almost ran into him. “Woah there, Katelyn.” He smiled as he recognized the girl, though he took a step back as she reached out for him. “You go ahead.” He smiled politely and stood aside so that she could pass by. “Oh, I was actually looking for you. Heath said you were out here...” She regarded Amarina with the same narrow-eyed look that she always did before smiling to Cheveyo. “I wanted to ask if you'd take me to the party. Maybe go out for dinner tomorrow night?” He didn't so much as hesitate to answer with a smile. “Sorry, Katie. But I'm taking Amarina to the party tonight and I kinda want to spend my weekend with her.” Katelyn seemed oblivious to the meaning and shrugged. “What about next weekend? I heard you give decent massages and I'll be in the Trials next weekend. I could use so-” Cheveyo interrupted her with a shake of his head. “Katie, I can't go on any dates with you. Or anyone else. Ever again. I don't want to.” He smiled down at Amarina, looking at her with a shine in his eyes like he was holding the most valuable thing in the world. As far as he was concerned, he was. Katelyn, however, wasn't as amused or enthused. “So, you're like. With her now? I thought she was like, just your best friend? I mean, like. Why her?” Katelyn didn't seem like she was going to let it go. Cheveyo was just glad that it was Divinia that he was standing in front of. “Yes. I'm with her. For now. Hopefully forever.” He smiled down at Amarina again before looking to Katelyn. “What do you mean 'Why?'? I'd be a retard not to. She's smart, got personality, always there for me, beautiful, and a great cuddler. We'll work on the kissing.” He teased her on the last part, wiggling his fingers in her ribs to tickle her. “She's always been my world – Now, I don't mean to be rude, but I need to get dressed. I'll see you at the party, Katelyn.” He offered a friendly smile as she stomped away. Shrugging, he went into the castle and closed the door behind him. “Haters gonna hate.” He shrugged some, unconcerned with the heartbreak. He was pretty sure that the girls would now either hate him for getting into a relationship or become hellbent on getting with him. The guys that swung that way were a lot more understanding. But as long as he had Amarina at his side holding his hand, he didn't care about anyone else. As he arrived at his dorm room that he thankfully shared with no-one, he set her down on his bed. Heath was sitting on his perch, tilting his head. About fucking time you two hooked up. He flapped his wings and screeched at the two, flying over to land on Amarina's shoulder. Cheveyo shook his head. “Yeah, yeah. Shut up. I'll be right back. Babe, if you want to wear a different shirt, you can get one of mine.” He kissed the top of her head before heading into his bathroom to shower. His room wasn't exactly elegant. He had a nice large canopy bed that was littered with large pillows and plush blankets. He had a bearskin rug on the floor and his walls had bulletin boards that were covered with pictures and Native American artifacts. Most of the pictures on the walls were of Amarina or himself and Amarina. Over the past year, he had slowly been taking down the photos of him kissing other girls, going so far as to throwing them away.

DeAngelo watched her curiously, trying his best not to probe her mind for information as to why she was crying. It was his first day and he didn't feel up to making any enemies. He was sure that his sister had already set a bad enough image on the family name that he would be surprised if anyone in his own Coven tried to get to know him. The rattlesnake rose its body up so that it was eye level with the girl and flicked his tongue out before hissing at the two birds. His tail began to rattle in that trademark way as he reared his head back. “Brutus!” The young man frowned and grabbed the snake around the 'neck' and pulled him back. “What have I told you...about playing nice?” He released the snake and watched as it coiled around his arm and canted its head towards him. I will do what I please... DeAngelo shook his head before looking back at Sunday. He smiled at her violin and nodded. “I would be delighted.” He flipped open his case to reveal a black violin with shimmering purple trim that seemed to pulse with energy, the strings as well looking like nothing more than thin, pulsing, purple lights. He grabbed the violin and bow, bringing the instrument to his chin as he stood up. He placed the bow against the strings and began to play. The song was one that seemed rather sorrowful with low, drawn out notes. He closed his eyes as he played, feeling Brutus slide up his arm and to his shoulder before coiling around his neck. It didn't bother him though. Play my song. The snake hissed into his ear. DeAngelo switched up the music immediately and began to play the melody for 'Dance, Dance' by Fall Out Boy. The snake swayed his head and rattled his tail happily as DeAngelo smirked. Don't judge! The snake thwapped the 'man' with his tail as the song came to a slow end. “Your turn.” DeAngelo began to pack away his violin, looking up to Sunday.

“Don't worry – My brother would never hurt you. He cares for me too much. And I'm not quite sure if I could go on in life without you.” Divinia smirked as the crying stopped and her brother's familiar composition reached her ears. “Hmph. Thirteen years of violin lessons has paid off well.” She mumbled, stepping away from Pippa some to listen. She glanced behind her as a young man that she didn't recognized and therefore assumed to be a freshman came sauntering up. He looked like a younger version of Pauly D. Ergo, he looked like a douche bag from Jersey. She lifted a brow as he leaned on the pillar next to Pippa and winked. “Hey. So. I heard about this party and I told myself that I would honor the first hot girl I saw by taking her there. You're welcome.” Wow. The kid had an ego. She was pretty sure that he was in Medea. Smirking, she sauntered over to Pippa and placed her hand on the back of her neck, crushing her soft lips against her best friend's, watching the boy the whole time as her tongue explored Pippa's mouth once more. Everything about Divinia exuded an air of money, power, sex, power, sex, and then some more power. And then a little more sex. The boy seemed undeterred by this action and slapped Divinia's ass. “Don't worry, babydoll. I am not opposed to taking you both. If you're both really good girls...Or naughty, I'll make sure to give you the night of your life.” Divinia broke from the kiss and moved her body behind Pippa's, resting her chin on her shoulder, kissing her neck as she watched the boy. “Such a confident boy, Pippy. But obviously ignorant to our identities.” She purred. The boy had a visible boner. Divinia rolled her eyes. “You really think that you could do anything work with that? Darling – I only fuck around with men. Not little boys who are barely hitting puberty.” Before the boy could say anything else, she continued to speak. “You heard about Divinia Doriano, kid?” The boy snorted. “Who the fuck is that broad?” Divinia giggled and watched as his face began to break out in red marks that mirrored the ones on his arms and neck. She tilted her head some to the side, watching him itch with happy eyes. He seemed to almost dance as the isolated case of scabies began to spread over his body. “Wha- What did you...What did you do?! Bitch! You fucking cunt!” He screeched at her, using anything and everything around him to try and make the itch go away. “Divinia Doriano is me. I'm the baddest bitch here – I'm also very possessive.” She kissed Pippa's neck again. “If you're a smart kid, you'd keep your grimy little paws off of my lovely Pippa. Because I will kill you.” The boy was crying now as the itch worsened. “Understand? Say yes ma'am if you understand.” Whining, the boy nodded furiously, his overly-gelled hair now a mess. “Yeah! Yes ma'am! Make it stop!” Divinia gave a soft 'tut tut' as she watched him for a few minutes longer. “They just don't make men like they used to, do they?” The rash began to recede, though he was still bleeding from where his nails raked into his flesh trying to alleviate the itch. With a runny nose, he began to scamper away. If he was a dog, his tail would be tucked between his legs.

“Well. That was fun.” Divinia had been possessive over Pippa since day one. That wasn't exactly going to change any time soon. Sometimes she had a hunch that Pippa had been jealous those days that Div obsessed over 'needing' to have Atreyu. But at that time, she wasn't paying much attention to anyone besides him. She felt rather foolish thinking about it now for having obsessed over him that much. Now? She hated him and Amarina only because Amarina was alive. She hated that the Hopi had the ability to bring her back. It made Divinia feel...weak in a way. She had been training a lot harder since then. Sighing, she moved to Pippa's side and grabbed her hand, towing her off towards where her brother and Sunday were lurking. She felt a sad Aura and saw a sad Ethan passing by...Hmm. What the hell had him bummed? Divinia inspected the Aura...It was heartbreak. She would find out later who did what. When they came upon Sunday and her brother, she offered them a honey-coated smile. “Aww, baby brother. You made it.” She let go of Pippa to give him a hug, making sure to pat Brutus' head. It was then that a massive orange boa constrictor that had a rainbow shimmer to her scales slithered down and around a nearby pillar. Divvy, love. I've got huge news. She hissed at her partner and friend, though coiled herself near Pippa's feet. “It can wait, Hecate. I believe lovely Sunday here is about to play us some music. Go ahead, dear.” She purred to the young girl and offered her a quick wink. Sunday was a cute girl and so very dark and twisted that it made Divinia giggle. She wasn't sure if she wanted to pinch the girl's cheeks or drag her into bed with herself and Pippa. You're such a whore, Divinia. Hecate hissed with a shake of her head. Divinia shrugged some. “I'll settle the fuck down when someone gives me a reason to and wants me to. For now, I'm a fucking polygamist. I'll take whoever I want whenever I want.” She retorted, flicking her hair over her shoulder. Divinia had been called every name in the book and she wasn't ashamed to own up to most of them. Sighing, she waited patiently for Sunday to begin one of her beautiful songs.

Romeo glanced at Xavier and chuckled as he walked into the forest to inspect it for flaws. He could hear someone asking where they were at and a frown grew on his face. Damn new students. Of all the times to – His thoughts were interrupted by the voice of Sasha Romanov directing the boy elsewhere. He turned back to exit the forest and winked at Xavier. “Great job, babe. You're up, Clarity.” He moved to Sasha and wrapped her arms around her in a tight hug. “What brings you here?” He grinned some as she spoke, motioning to Drago. “I was just bringing you some fresh meat. This here's Drago Pagliarelli.” The muscular, blonde-haired, blue-eyed 'man' smiled and offered a hand out to Professor Guarini. “Its a pleasure to finally meet you.” Romeo grinned at him and inspected him in great detail as he shook the outstretched hand. “Wow! You're seriously sixteen? That's pretty fucking crazy.” Drago could easily pass as twenty-five with great skin. Drago laughed and pulled his hand back to rub the back of his head. “Yeah. I'm seriously sixteen.” His accent was deeply Italian as he spoke in a smooth bass. “And what a perfect specimen of a Familiar.” Romeo reached out and stroked the head of the white cobra adorning Drago's bicep. Giuseppe hissed and reared his head back, not hesitating to lash out and latch onto the Professor's forcep. Drago pulled his arm back, thumping the snake on his head, causing him to quickly slither up his arm and around his neck, hissing at Romeo from there. Drago watched as Sasha placed her lips over Romeo's arm and proceeded to suck out the venom, swallowing it. “Uh...Won't that kill you?” He lifted a brow as she thumped Romeo's forehead. “You know better than to touch strange animals. And no, Drago. It won't. Shit like that don't bother me. Anyways, now that I've delivered you, I should go.” She blew them both a kiss and skipped away. “What a woman.” Drago let out a low wolf-whistle before turning to see everyone around him. “So this is Circe Coven. Or at least the elites.” He grinned some and set down his bag before crossing his arms over his chest. “Just let me know what I need to do and when I need to do it.”

Meanwhile, Hrutao was scowling at the cat, the dog, Ever, and Alistair. How dare he ask a question, not let him answer, and then proceed to ignore him?! The magnificent stag shook his head indignantly. Sasha came up just in time to sense her dear friend's irritation. “Aww! Ruru! What's wrong?” She made her way to him and grasped his muzzled by the underside, stroking the top. Klaude flew from her shoulder and into the air where he began to grow and grow and grow until he was literally ten feet tall; ten foot seven, to be exact. “Yeah, Ruru. What's wrong with you?” The Roc prodded the stag's backside with a massive talon. Hru huffed and tore his head from Sasha's hold. “I was attempting to be kind by showing this ward around but he has ignored me since we left the Arena. Asked me a question. Didn't even let me answer it. Plus, I'm not even being acknowledged by the dark-one.” Hrutao was very short-tempered when it came to the students of Fae. He would often explain to Sasha how he had no time for them and how she should be off traveling the world. Mother Nature should not be in one place for such a long time. he would often say. Hrutao was royalty in a sense and was partnered alongside the greatest force on earth – He thought that he deserved the best. Sasha thought so to, but in a semi-different light. She shook her head as the stag stamped his hooves before taking off. “Aww. Poor Ruru is upset.” Klaude stirred up great gusts of wind as he flapped his wings and screeched out a laugh. Sasha shook her head and smiled to Alistair and Ever. “Hey, Evie. Hey Ali. Sorry about that – You know how Ruru gets. Well. You do, Ever. Not you, Alistair. But you'll learn.” She grinned, tucking a few stray strands behind her ear. “He can be a bit of a Diva, but don't let it worry you. By the way, welcome to Fae Academy, officially. I'd show you around, but I have some weather to clear up. Drought in eastern Asia and floods in northern Michigan.” She gave them an energetic farewell wave before vaulting into the air. It was like straight out of a movie as her body became nothing more than swirling leaves that blew away with an unseen wind. Klaude flapped his wings mightily and lifted into the air, taking off as well.

Ever Daniels

Ever palmed her forehead. "Professor Guarini is the Battle Magick Teacher. You'll have to meet him so when I said steer clear. I mean, Don't do anything stupid." She said with a shrug. "So Yea basically but Professor Angelo is a nice guy, Professor Kwan Yin is always riding him about something so he never catches a break." She said with a laugh. There was a pun in there somewhere, Aedan would have found it and snickered at it. "Professor Romanov isn't a fairy. She's Mother Nature." She said and was going to explain more but Professor Romanov appeared she spoke to her horse then greeted them.
Ever smiled and hugged her, in usual Ever fashion. "Hey. Professor Romanov." She said and then her smiled faded. "Dark One?!" She gasped "I waved at you, you temperamental future glue stick" She said with a frown. Of course she didn't mean it, Professor Romanov knew by now Ever had a mouth but she was relatively harmless. She took no crap from anyone, not even a horse. She rolled her eyes and her smile returned when she looked at the lovely Professor. She would have loved to have Professor Romanov as a mentor. Kwan Yin was great but Sasha was Mother Nature. Ever had Mommy issues so having her as a Mentor would have been awesome. "Yea. I know." She said, still not happy with the dark one comment but didn't let it bother her too much. "I'll show him around." She told her with a shrug. "He and I go back. " she said with a quick smile to Alistair. The Professor then disappeared into the air. Ever was used to that. "You know, As hard as it is to believe, You get use to that. It blew my mind the first time I saw her do that." She said with a laugh.

Sunday Cortez
Sunday watched as DeAngelo's snake stood up and hissed at her. Egdar and Allen cawed at the slithery beast. "Get back, Small Lady." Egdar said.
"We'll protect you, Small Lady" Allen urged. They flapped their wings manically. "Shh, Egdar, Allen." She said and DeAngelo grabbed his snake and reprimanded it. She watched curiously and grinned when he smiled and agreed to play. She sat down in the grass on her legs and listened. She closed her eyes as his music surrounded her. She sway to the haunting song. It was beautiful. She clapped with a smile when he was finished. "That was lovely." She said,, her voice was so light, everything she said sounded like a breath. Then he played another song, it seemed for the snake. She giggled when the danced along. She raised the violin to her chin. Her fair skin a clear contrast to her midnight black violin. She raised her bow but stopped when she heard Divina. She looked to see the gorgeous blonde looking at her with Pippa beside her. "Hi!" She beamed. She both looked up to and was slightly attracted to Divinia. She saw Divinia as an Angel of Death. Silky Blonde Hair, Fair skin and souless. Sunday just wanted to reach out and touch her. Her and her snake seemed to exchange words and Divinia spoke about pologamy. She wondered naughtly that maybe she and Divinia and Romeo could one day share a bed.

She nodded when Divinia waited for her song. Sunday beamed. "Right." She said and raised her bow again. She positioned her fingers on the frets and stroked her bow across the strings. Music filled the air and her mind wandered to one of her many daydreams about Romeo. She rose to her knees as she felt the music. Her bow sliding across the strings as the haunting tune rang out. Her fingers moving from fret to fret at an amazing speed. Her body moved to the music as she felt herself become wrapped up in the music and by the end of the song, she was so far gone, she'd forgotten about the group and her song had tried to 'Call' Professor Romeo. She didn't think he heard or responded which was good. He was busy.

She let down her bow and also found that she was standing now. Egdar and Allen chriped and cawed at her performance. She smiled sheeplishly and sat on her legs again. "Sorry, I believe I got carried away."

Battle magic. Well... crap. He was taking that class. Okay, no problem, he'd just have to keep his head down, not attract attention- Oh, who am I kidding? Even in a school like this I'm gonna stand out if it kills me. On the bright side it seemed very unlikely the vampire teacher would actually kill him. Just... be creepy. The 'riding' comment about Angelo cheered him up, though, and he snickered a bit.

Then Prof. Romanov showed up and suddenly he found his attention elsewhere. For the most part he didn't say anything this time, save for an awkward attempt to apologize to Hrutao, who vanished before he could finish. Okay, that one was on him. He'd been right about the ego, apparently, but was so distracted by meeting Ever that he'd forgotten all about him. He would have to apologize later, though it was looking like that might not work. When Prof. Romanov called him a diva, Ali just grinned and shot back "Remind me to introduce you to an eagle called Dactylos." On a more pleasant subject, Romanov didn't seem bothered (though she did call him Alistair, which he never liked) and her vanishing act was seriously impressive. So much so that he even forgot to try and catch a glimpse when she leapt into the air. Well, if this happened a lot then he'd have another opportunity.

He nodded a bit and, after a moment, laughed along with Ever. The day was starting to seem a bit surreal. He was used to magick, yes - of a certain kind. He was used to him having magick, to an eagle who spoke air language and to spirits of air, wind, weather and so on. Forests popping up out of nowhere and supermodel teachers vanishing in the breeze, not so much. He'd probably wake up tomorrow wondering how much of it he'd dreamt. Mental note: This is not a dream. Unless it's like Inception where it's a really vivid dream.

Back in what was probably reality, they were now officially at what he figured was probably the Puck dorm. "This is it," he remarked. "C'mon, let's find my room and dump this stuff." He gestured vaguely with the gym bag in one hand and the other on the strap of his backpack. He had some other stuff that was being sent along - discretely - but for now he just wanted to charge up his laptop and... and... "Okay, dumb question, just occurred to me," he said slowly. "This place has electricity, right? Internet? Wi-fi?"

Ever smiled when Alister found the pun in her comment and snickered. She almost forgot they had the same sense of humor.

She followed him to the Puck dorms and he asked about the wifi. Ever just laughed. She asked the same thing. "Yea. We do. It's really shitty the closer you are to the wards so as long as your inside, you're good." She said looking around. "I could show you to the main students lounge. It's actually pretty cool. All the Dorms has a corridor that leads to it. There are however, separate smaller lounges for the different covens." She explained. She thought for a while whatelse to say. "Oh, There's a friend of mine, Ethan. He's throwing a party, Everyone's gonna be there. Well most everyone anyway. I'll introduce you. I want you to meet Aedan. I think you two will get along great." She said
Eventually
. She added in her head. Aedan was a good guy but he can be a bit possessive. The whole Atreyu thing a few years back told her that. That didn't bother her though, She felt the same way. Especially where Pippa was involved. She didn't know how many times, she wanted to A-town stomp that broad when she flirted with Aedan. So They were the same that way. "So You wanna come along? The guy that's throwing the party is in your Coven. His name's Ethan. Relatively harmless and the boy can mix on helluva drink." She said with a laugh.

"Do you even have to ask?" Ali grinned broadly. "First day here and I find out my awesome friend goes here, my mentor is hot and nice, I show up in time for the party - that's it, this is goin' down as the best first day ever!" Dactylos kept telling Ali that Zeus was watching him. It always sounded like just another expectation to fly merrily in the face of, but maybe the old man was actually watching over him. Or at least wanted a good first day for him. Either way, if he was involved and this wasn't just awesome happenstance, he was the new resident cool old guy.

"Let's drop this stuff off, then see who all is around the commons," he suggested after a few moments of just generally reveling in what a great day he was having. "Say, start off at the Puck lounge and move on to the main if there's no one there?"

Ever watched as Ali went on about his 'awesome' first day. She was happy Ali was here. Although, she still felt like something was about to jump off. Like that static in the air right before a fight. Sure, She had the Trails but that wasn't it. It was this werid appending doom that was lingering in the air. Apparently, only she felt it as Aedan was his normal trying to be cool but not self and Ali...was doing the same thing.
Then a thought occured to her. They were so alike. It was uncanny. Aedan should been in Puck as sneaky and pesky he can be and Ali was in Puck. They would even snicker at the same dirty jokes. They were so alike, It made Ever wonder. Is that why she was attracted to Aedan because he was so alike Ali? She abandoned the thought. No. She loved Aedan because he was Aedan.

Ali's voice broke her away from her thoughts. She tried to look as if she was already paying attention. "Um, Well, Class has basically started so we really should get you to your first class. I'm supposed to be training for the Battle Magick Trails. Which would suck so bad if I didn't have to face off with my boyfriend." She said with a sigh.

Ever seemed really lost in thought for a while there. Now he wasn't the most empathetic of folks, but Ali got the odd sense that she was... worried about something? Hm. He didn't really know enough about her situation here to know what it might be, but he hoped it was nothing serious. Maybe he ought to ask? But then she seemed to snap back to the real world and he decided to leave it for later. Then the mention of class as having already started shoved any thought of vague, nebulous concerns out of his mind. "Already started?" He repeated. "And we've just been wandering around here? Damn- C'mon, let's drop this stuff off and run."

She mentioned her Trials just then (Why is she pronouncing it with a capital T?) and that, furthermore, she might have to face off against her boyfriend on the fields of battle. Wow, that could really drive a wedge into a relationship. Well, could if it wasn't just a class thing. Hopefully he wasn't the competitive type. "Well, good luck... I think. Do I have that class too, or what?"

Ever smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry most of the classes are cancelled because of the Trails and your Coven mentor just flew to Southeast Asia so you should be good." She said with a light giggle.

He then wished her good luck and she sighed. "Yea, I'm gonna need it. You know how competitive I can be." She muttered. She hoped she'd never actually see Aedan durning this and if she did, she hoped no one else is there to see her completely avoid a fight.
She returned her attention back on Ali. "You know. I don't know. I could ask Professor Guarini.." she said but then thought. "Ehh. maybe not. Hmm. You could ask Headmaster MacLean. I need to head to my dorm anyway, His office is on the way." She said and gestured for him to follow her out the door. "The Trails are only for the second years, so Have you had any Battle Magick Training?" She asked him curiously.

Ali did indeed know how competitive Ever could be. It was one of his favorite things about her, and his ability to switch between 'laid-back' and 'competitive' basically on a whim had intrigued and frustrated her to no end back when they dated - especially when he won, then made it out to be no biggie. If her boyfriend won this round, he'd better watch how he plays his next card. And unless she brought along a bunch of alchemygrams with combat spells on them, that was looking pretty much inevitable. Maybe that's what the wizards on TV have those spellbooks for, he mused.

Snapping back to the present he replied thoughtfully, "I did used to go out to a spot outside the city and blast stuff. Y'know, see how hard the wind can blow with a bit of my unique encouragement. Dactylos' idea, but one of his best. But go up against someone mano-a-mano? No, haven't been there yet." He paused, rubbing his chin a bit as they left his bags behind in his room, which he would be taking a better look at some other time. "I was at the arena just a while ago. Prof. Romanov said I shouldn't be there, so I figure that applies for your trial too. Hey, how did you know what classes you had when you showed up first time?"

Patty

As the two humans talked, Patty followed after them, staying close to Muppet as he did so. He was filled with questions. This human was like his human, but not his human. There were several differences between the two, he sensed. What mystified him, however, was how Ever knew this not-Aedan. He glanced over at Muppet and whined at her, wanting an explanation. He knew Ever was his human's mate, but humans weren't as loyal as animals. He was scared of the possibility of his human having a broken heart.

Ever mused over his question. "Well, I didn't arrive mid-semester like some people." She quipped with a smile. "They gave us noobs a tour then we had this long ass orientation then we got assigned to our Covens. For me it was this long drawn out process cause they were like I should be in Circe I ended up killing a guy with my powers..." Her expression was grim at that. Sure the perv deserved it but it didn't feel good. Ali knew that she was attacked and she killed the guy but he didn't know how. "Anyway, So for the longest I was actually in Circe but then Kwan Yin said that I should be in Medea seeing as it was in self-defense and I hadn't known what I was doing. She and I discovered our powers in self defense." She said and her expression lightened. "So Yea. Then we got our schedules and yeah...that's pretty much it." She said with a shrug. They reached her dorm and walked in quickly, rummaging through her desk, looking for the thin magickal paper. On top held a picture of her and Aedan that she took last Summer.
She pulled out her sketchbooks and a few in which many comic book drawings, a few sketches of Muppet and an elaborate photo-realitic drawing of Aedan. She worked very hard on that picture to get it perfect.

After a while, she found the alchemy paper and shoved it in her messenger bag. She looked up and smiled. "Alright. You wanna head to the Headmaster's office to see if you are participating in the Trails?"

Muppet
Muppet mewed when Patty whined at her. Ali is nice, Ali was like Aedan but not anymore. She told him in little mews. Muppet needed to leave. Bad. She couldn't let it happen here. She could hurt Ever and Aedan and Patty and Flower. She could hurt everyone. She had to go before it happened but Ever's sleep spell made it hard. Ever loves Aedan. She reassured Patty with a mew.

"You did say those are only for second-years," Ali responded thoughtfully. "But I guess it wouldn't hurt to see what all I'm supposed to be doing. No classes, no trials, no clue. Wow, maybe showing up late was a bad idea..." He ruminated on this for all of .7 seconds, then smiled again. "Sure, it's on the way. Lead on!" He followed Ever down the corridors, trying to memorize the path for future reference. Didn't they have a map somewhere? One of those big boards with the 'you are here' dot? That would be so useful when he didn't have a guide.

Along the way Ali noticed Patty and Muppet seemed to be whining and mewling to each other. Now he didn't know much about animals, but he knew every other familiar he'd seen had enough intelligence to at least communicate with whoever they were linked with. His own comprehended several languages. It wouldn't surprise him at all if they had their own little animal-speak that only they and maybe a few others understood. He nudged Ever. "Hey, what do you think the furballs are talking about?"

Ever leaded him toward the main hall where the Headmaster's office was. She smiled when Ali nudged her and asked her about Muppet and Patty. She looked over at them and smiled. She watched them go on chatting and she shrugged. "I don't know. Muppet doesn't talk to me, like everyone else's Familar does." She said with a shrug as she watched the two pets. Ever just figured Muppet was a regular kitten ,though she'd been that same size for almost 4 years. "Patty's real protective of Muppet. It's adorable really." She said a smile as Muppet rubbed her little face with her paw, mewing softly at Patty. She did wonder what they were talking about. Perhaps She was explaining why she ran off eariler. That still bugged Ever. Muppet was a quiet little kitten, she played and stuff but she was never this energetic. That and she never bit her before. It didn't hurt but still. Ever turned her attention back to Ali "Where's your Familiar?"

Amarina could feel herself lifting off of the ground as Cheveyo lift her and himself off of the ground. She smiled at him as he carried her like a princess and her prince. She looked at him as he said he would help her and Ethan set up for the party. "Aw, that's all I can ask for." She said before laying her head closer to him. She winkled her nose as her boyfriend kissed it lightly. She listened to the nature and actually started to fall asleep with how calm and peaceful it felt when she around him. After a moment the quiet was ruinned when she heard Cheveyo talking to some girl, Katelyn. She was a red head who was easily over 5'7 and was pretty attractive in Amarina's eyes. She honestly thought she was one of the best looking people who went to the school. Great, just what she wanted to ruin her mood. A pretty girl trying to take her boyfriend away from her. She breathed in as Katelyn asked if Cheveyo would take her to the party. She knew that Chev would never flirt with another girl when he was with someone but still her eyes darted down. Hearing him say he was going with Amarina and spend his entire weekend with her, she grinned a bit. The thought of them under the tree or in his room, him having his arms around her as she read a book or as they shared earbuds just listening to music together. Or maybe they would be kissing too much after two years of waiting to be able to do anything else other than kiss each other made her smile.

The red head was not the brightest light bulb in the world and kept trying to flirt. Even after Cheveyo said no, until she finally got it. And, of course she had to ask the same thing that was going through her head, Why? Why did he want to be with her more than another girl? Then she heard him say why and she couldn't help but look up at him as he looked back down at her. With a shimmer in his eyes that made her want to melt into his arms, “Yes. I'm with her. For now. Hopefully forever. Forever. She had heard that words many times in her life. That someone would be in her life forever and that has yet to happen. Once deciding to leave her hometown in Austrailia her grandparents haven't talked to her. And, her mother was long gone with her father. She had not a single person she knew of that had stayed in her life forever. Maybe he would be different. What do you mean 'Why?'? I'd be a retard not to. She's smart, got personality, always there for me, beautiful, and a great cuddler." She looked at the reaction on Katelyn's face the who time with a smile on her her own pale face. We'll work on the kissing.” She looked up at him with her mouth open. Before laughing from him tickling her in her most ticklest spot. She smirked when Cheveyo excused himself and Katelyn walked. Well, really stormed away. She tried to hide her smirk but it was hard. "Someone's pissed off." She said softly looking up at him. Haters gonna hate." She rolled her eyes. Honestly she couldn't careless what people thought, never did and never will.

She reutrned to her place where she was laying her head on his chest. Not long after they arrived into his room. She looked at him as he lightly sat her on his bed. What he has said to Katelyn was still in her head, “She's always been my world." She had felt like idiots never seeing how much he felt for her. How much he actually cared for her. She chuckled as Heath landed on her shoulder and Cheveyo spoke to him, “Yeah, yeah. Shut up. I'll be right back. Babe, if you want to wear a different shirt, you can get one of mine.” She nodded and gave him a smile as he kissed her head. She watched him as he walked to his bathroom and closed the door behind him. Amarina softly removed Heath from her shoulder and put him back on his perch. She sighed as she looked at him. "And, just how long have you known he loved me?.... Hm? You never felt like telling me?" She said with sarcasm in her voice and an eyebrow raised. Amarina chuckled and turned around to drawner to look for a shirt. She knew since that if she didn't want girls to look at him, and it was a fact that her boyfriend would hate guys being able to see through her shirt and see her bra. She opened the drawner to reveal his boxers and undergarments. She quickly closed it, closed her eyes and sighed. "Of course I open that one." She said to herself as she opened the next one down and saw his shirts. She sighed in relief and took a look through them for one that may fit her.

She found a plain white v-neck and layed it on his large bed on top of one of her favorites of his blankets. She never knew why, it was just so plush and soft and it smelled like just like Cheveyo was giving her a hug that never left. That just lingered around her for a while. She kept her back turn away from Chev's falcon and quickly slipped her shirt off, revealing her gray and white floral bra. She tossed her white and damp shirt on to the bed and reached for the larger shirt that layed next to it. Sher slipped it on over her head and let the sea of white fabric almost drown her body. She looked like a walking marshmello with dark chocolate on top. She grabbed the fabric that was hanging off and tied it behind her back and used one of the bands she wore on her left arm to tie it into a bunch. "Alright, I think I look ok... I hope I looked fine." She said to herself before turning around and looking into the mirror to fix her hair, to make sure it wasn't flattened from putting on a new shirt and just from the day. She fixed a piece of her black hair to the right place. Amarina looked at the bed before sitting down, waiting for Cheveyo to come out.

She looked around let her eyes look at all pictures he had in his room of her or them together and there were only going to be more to come now that they were actually together. He really did keep all our optics. She said in her head as she let a small smile go on her face. Maybe he truly was in love with her for two years. As the idea went through her head of them actually being together forever he messed with the ends of one of his blankets. It never crossed her mind that when he came out of the shower that.... he would have nothing on other than a towel.

"Who, Dactylos?" Ali shrugged. "Somewhere. Flying, hunting, I dunno. He doesn't really follow me around - just a little bit, ah, big for the buildings, y'know? He's an eagle. Not one of the little ones, either. He was the one who first told me about magick, Zeus, all that stuff. Which, considering I didn't even know eagles could talk or that I could understand his weird language, was a bit of a shock, I can tell you. He's kind of stuck up- Okay, he's really stuck up, and we don't always get along, but he's alright really. We just don't hang out much when he isn't pestering me to work on my magick."

Ali considered all he'd seen so far. "Does everyone's familiar follow them around wherever they go? I mean, I've seen you with Muppet and Prof. Romanov with Hrutao and... that other one, the bird. Then Aedan sends his to keep an eye on us and make sure we're not making out for old times' sake."

Ever Daniels
Ever listened to him go on about his eagle. Apparently he was temperamental too. “You know, I heard that Zeus took the form of an eagle. Maybe it’s your dad being weird?” She asked with a shrug. Her father unfortunately passed away long before she knew him. When her and her mother were on speaking terms, she told her that he was in the military. That he died in a car bombing or something. Ever always thought that should have brought her closer to her daughter but no, it brought her closer to God or something and she disowned her only kid. She hated her aunt for gaining abilities where she didn’t and now that Ever had them too, her mother resented her as well. At least that’s what Ever figured.

Ali then asked about the familiars. “Yea, Typically.” She said and than his last statement registered. “Hey.” She warned with a blush. That was the last thing she needed Aedan thinking or Ali for that matter. She needed to talk to Aedan about this in person. Hopefully they’d have time to talk before the Trials. They still had a ‘date’ during study hall. She didn’t really wanna ruin the mood with the talk of her ex. Maybe she’ll tell him at the party. Oh she didn’t know, she just knew she’d tell Aedan about him sometime today.

"Ancestor," Ali corrected, "not dad. My dad's-" He stopped himself just in time - he'd been about to say his dad was a businessman. He was supposed to have a poor background. "Well, actually, it's on his side, but still way back," he finished hurriedly before moving on to distract from the near-slip. "Though if it is Zeus, that would explain why he's always praising him to high heavens. Either that, or he's just Olympus' greatest suck-up." The only thing bigger than Dactylos, in Dactylos' less-than-humble opinion, was the gods, and Zeus at the very top of that pile. Granted that in most legends he'd heard Zeus was at the top of the divine pile, but still.

After the brief discussion of familiars it seemed the last part finally found its way past Ever's ears. To Ali's intense amusement, she was blushing at the idea. This could not go un-ribbed. "Are you blushing?" He teased, then struck a model's pose. "Well, I guess I can't blame you. Any girl would want some of this, and you already know what you're missing. But don't feel bad, you know what they say: Better to have loved Ali and lost him, then to have never loved him at all." Egotistical? Him? He didn't even know the meaning of the word!

Ever's blush deepened he called her on it. Then he posed which made the blush fade. "Pssh Whatever, Ali, You are so werid" She said and realized she'd said the exact thing to Aedan not to long ago. Those two. They both had egos the size of Texas and they both drove her insane. She smacked him in the back of the head. She was going to say she was the one that broke up with him but then realized she didn't want to. It wasn't something she didn't want to bring up. She could just hear the whole 'You like weird and you know it.' bit coming next. Aedan had said to her when she called him werid.
She smiled regardless, keeping her thoughts from being betrayed on her face. "We need to get you to the Headmaster and I need to get to training." She said feigning bitterness again. Ali vs Aedan was bound to happen, then add to the Trials and Muppet freaking out again because the spell would wear off soon and then whatever this bad feeling was she had looming over her head, she felt tired already. Oh, this was gonna be one long day.
