Stephanie sat away from the group looking out to sea. She had never felt this terrible in her life, her once beautiful hair was now just a huge knot attached to her head, her once smooth pale skin was now tanned with filth. She didn't know how much more of this she could take. She used her delicate hands to try and pull through her tangle of hair, it was useless like fighting a forest fire with a hosepipe. She felt a single tear begin to slide down her face, just what was the point in all this now? Her family would have given up, there was no way 'Little Stephanie' would have survived something like this. Stephanie would have thought they'd have been right but stephanie HAD survived so far, but what was the point? When would all this be over? When they had created their own civilisation? When they managed to get home? Stephanie almost laughed. They wouldn't get home, so far nothing had been done in any attempt to get back.
Stephanie saw Max talking to the group and she tried to listen in "We should go search the ruins of it tomorrow," he said "Does anyone want to go with me?" Ha! Was he crazy? Stephanie was pretty sure those island people who had killed Theo were still around, it wouldn't exactly be wise to go exploring. She watched Max sit down and begin to eat, he seemed pretty relaxed. Probably hadn't thought about the danger yet. Stephanie had already decided she didn't want to go exploring, all she wanted to do was sit around and wait for death to come. It was going to come eventually, she couldn't exactly see them all sitting around the campfire as elderly people neither could she see them getting home. It was something they would all have to accept sometime.
Oh look here came another new person approaching the camp. She didn't look too good either. Great another person to take care of, another person to eventually watch die. Stephanie hoped she would be one of the first to go and hopefully it'd be quick. Stephanie lay back on the sand, sighed and looked up at the sky, this would be a good time for a miracle.

Max watched Delilah stand up, wobbling and leaning against a stick for support. She looked horrible, and Max guessed she had just recently washed up here. She couldn't have been from the same crash as them, and if she did than she was the worst at finding other people. "Come with me," he said, wanting to roll his eyes. He was tired of taking in new people, but he wasn't just going to leave them. If he had more energy and a better attitude, like usual, than he'd probably be happy about finding a new person, but after sixty seven days, he was ready to just drown himself. At least he wasn't as depressing as some of the others. A lot of the group just sulked around all day and did nothing to help. It was almost like babysitting.
"We have meat and water," he said to Delilah. "We can clean your wounds." He walked back with her to the camp and then introduced her. "This is Delilah guys." He sat down and watched the fire light up the circle of people. It was completely dark now so it illuminated everyone's faces making it look creepy. " When he got back Tirka spoke up and offered to go with him and then asked if anybody was looking for them.
"I think it's been too long. Nobody's looking for us anymore, we're dead in all their eyes." Max sighed and then stirred the fire with a stick.

She sat down; trying to ignore the cold glares and dark aura that had gathered around her. Are they civilized? I should only spend the night here... or at least leave tomorrow. They are kind of scary... She thought as she unwrapped her leg. Just as she thought; her skin around her wound was purple and it was already starting to take effect. She quickly wrapped it up. She would have to treat it tomorrow. She looked up. "If it isn't a problem... do you have anything to put on open wounds...?" Trembles shot out of her mouth; anyone could tell that she feared them in a short way.
I think it would be alright to spend the night here and then leave early in the morning. I guess I could fine my own food; and from the looks of it, they would want me gone anyways. Also, I just need a safe place to sleep for the night. She kept on thinking of tomorrow and what to do. Should I tell them that I would be leaving in the morning? She thought while looking at them. "Er... S-sorry. If helps, I could repay you... for uh, your help." She started. "I know survival must be hard for you guys and I don't mean to be a burden, so uh, I think I should repay you somehow... I could always get you some more food..." She looked at the pig. "If you need any... or I could get something else that you need..." Her voice stumbled over her words and her voice was hoarse.
She started on the topic of leaving, hoping that it might change the aura around her a little bit. "I also think I might leave tomorrow. I could always explore the other-side of this island or something... or I could build a raft." She looked up from the ground. "Um, anything really." She kinda felt like she needed to repay them and leaving would be just rude. Finally, she realized that she had been talking alot. "Oh! Um, sorry. I didn't mean to talk so much..." She apologized sincerely.

The illusions quickly dissapeared long ago, since noone bothered to look up from their sulkiness. Leo was on the few not to remain sulky but that was because of the writing he did to distract himself from the same situation everyone was in.
"A helicopter just crashed up at the top of the mountain!" Leo swong his head around to look at Max you just said that, as he did a smell of fire and metal filled the air. He lifted his pencil up from the piece of paper at the long story that was being written and listened intently to Max. "Does anyone want to go with me?" Tirka raised her hand, Leo instantly raised his hand, meanwhile still having the pencil in his hand.
"This is Delilah guys." Max said introducing the new person.
A new person? Leo thought.
She seemed nervous and shaky, everytime she spoke it was with fear and trembles. Do we look that bad?
"Oh! Um, sorry. I didn't mean to talk so much..." Tirka was the first to raise and sat next to her to see the wound on her leg.
Leo got up from the log he sat on, with his paper and pencil in one hand, a gourd of his water in his right hand and walked to Deililah extended the water out to her with a soft look in his face.

She hoped the girl would stay with them; even if she didn't plan to she wasn't sure she'd heal quickly enough to leave in a hurry. That would be suicide in a way; at least the way Nia saw it. Now she was curious, and wanted to talk to the girl, though. "I'll do it when she's rested..." she thought to herself, looking at her. She waved a bit at the girl warmly; as if she were passing someone she knew in a casual scenerio. At least once sign of normality should seem good, right?

"You don't have to leave. We're all in this together." People began to respond to his offer to go up the mountain and sighed in releif, knowing more people would come with him. Though he was used to the island now, it still creeped him out to be alone in the woods. Besides, the mountain was right next to the village. Bad memories there. Just small things though, like being kidnapped...

Max kinda gave off a sort of vibe that was a bit unknown for her. She really didn't know how to respond to that. He started to talk about the bandage about the leaves and what not; the most she did was sip the water Leo gave her. "You don't have to leave. We're all in this together." When Max said that, she made a small smile; but wasn't sure if everyone agreed to him. Just about that time, she saw a young girl in the trees waving at her. She slowly lifted up her hand and gave a small slight wave. I guess I could rest here for now, but tomorrow I need to look for what I need to treat this. She thought as she looked at her water. To be honest; she kind of wanted to go explore the mountain regions but was too hurt and weak and afraid to. "Um, thanks everyone." She said, still looking into the water gourd.

She finally speaks up from her seat on the ground. keen green eyes watching the nervous new girl as shes brought to camp.
" How many more people could there possibly be on this island..pretty soon we'll have enough for a city." she gives a nervous laugh after that one, trying, unsuccessfully to run a hand through her mass of feiry tangles. Nadia finally stood " Plus, being with a group if far better then being alone..." nods past them, back towards the forests , and shudders.
" Yeah, Max , I'll go . Its better then sleeping and wishing I was somewhere else.. which ...seems to be the pastime of choice these days .." Purses her lips at that , leaning over to brush of the dust from her already soiled clothes. She feels like little freakin Orphan Annie. " I'll .. I'll go pack somethings we might need.. any requests?" she swings her gaze over the makeshift camp, tossing the stick she'd been poking the fire with into the pit.

"I'll come to the mountain too, if you need any one else..." she murmered, trying not to scare him. She wouldn't mind doing something; she always felt a part from the group. Just sat in her tree, ate, slept, checked her traps every once it awhile. She wanted to be helpful for something, even the most littlest thing on their trip.

Delilah silently crawled out of the shelter and her back ached like hell. Her leg was hurting even more now than yesterday; the pain now settling in. She winced as she stretched upward, all of her body was extremely stiff, but that didn't stop her; she could still move. She grabbed her stick for support as she made her way towards the forestry area and took off her shoes. She unwrapped her leg and slowley limped into the forest. It was strange, but it seemed as if she was already used to it.
She stumbled into the dark forest as the air grew humid and the ground grew moist. The thick canopy grew thicker and the ground around her turned dark and wet. She made sure that her feet where covered in mud before stopping and digging her hands into the ground. She dug for about ten minutes before finding what she needed. She put them in her sweatshirt. Yes, they where leeches; she made her way out towards the entrance before stopping by an old fruit tree that hardly had any fruit in it now. She wasn't sure what maggots looked like; but she knew where to find them. She looked down at the degrading fruit below her and dragged it out.
6:45 AM Beach at camp.
When she got back, she limped towards the beach water and dumped the leaches and rotten fruit onto the ground. She walked into the water and soaked her sweat shirt in it; reading something about salt and open wounds, but she wasn't for sure. She yelped like a small dog when she started to scrub the wound until the dirt was gone. All was left was a huge gash that had puss, greenish tint around it, purple and it stunk. She carefully put the leeches onto it, placing around the puss and green skin.
7:00 AM Beach at camp.
The leeches fell off in a matter of minutes, full and weak from feeding on the gross puss and discolored blood. She looked behind her to see Nia and Max already up and she quickly grabbed the fruit. She dugg into it and found only 3 or 4 maggots. "They would have to work for now I guess" she spoke quietly to herself. She placed them far apart in different direction of the wound and took off her band shirt and shredded it to thin pieces. She wrapped it around tightely and forced herself up. No one could describe how stiff she was.
She walked near Max and Nia with the stick under her. She gave a thin smile. "Hi." Her voice was quiet as her stomach rumbled and lips cracked. She looked around at the rocks all over the ground. "Er... whats with the rocks? Decoration?" It was meant as a joke, but from her tone of voice, it sounded a bit too serious to be a joke.
