What/ who they are
[i"]I am Amelia Stormborn, The Unburnt Mother of Dragons, Conqueror of Mexico and Celtic Lands, Breaker of Chains, Mhysa, The Silver Queen, Queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom"[/i]

Where they live
The South Atlantic Kingdom

Alliances & Enemies
The kingdom as of now are not in an alliances with anyone. As far as enemies go Amelia currently has two one being the King of Drake and the Khal of the South Pacific. The peace between Drake City and her kingdom seems to be coming to an abrupt end. The King and Khal have both joined forces an in attempt to make the kingdom fall, branding them enemies of the South Atlantic Kingdom.

Demeanor (Personality)

Amelia has the qualities that one would expect a person from her royal background to have. As a child Amelia was sculpted in the image of the perfect princess and a future queen. She was taught the things that her family considered important for a girl of her position to know. Such as painting, sewing, singing and how to play musical instruments. She was also taught about the culture and histories of her kingdom as well as the other kingdoms and lands. Out of all the classes and lessons she was taught dancing and riding would surely be her favorite. As a princess should be she is well educated in all aspects and is a respectful lady with the impeccable manners of a royal.

Image
While she is in all aspects a respectful and gracious woman she is not a woman who will just do as she is told. Her father taught her from a young age that she is a person with her own mind and opinions and it was up to her to make herself heard by the men who would try to position themselves above her. She knows that there are times when one must know when to bite their tongue out of means of respect but that doesn't mean that she will always bite her tongue especially when she comes to the things that matter to her. As most girls do she always preferred her father over her mother as with her father she was his little princess. Being always at his side she adored and admired her father and was in awe at the love the People held for him and vice versa. Her father was the type of king that some would say ruled with an "iron fist." Her father was ruthless and merciless but it came from a place of love and overall wanting the best for his family and his kingdom.

Amelia looked to her father as a role model and when the time came for her to take the throne it was clear that she was her father's child. While her father was well known as the king who "ruled with iron fist" Amelia is known as the queen with the "iron fist in a velvet glove." Being a woman people do not expect her to be as harsh or ruthless as a man in her position, but she has shown at times when she feels it is necessary she can be as ruthless if not far more ruthless than her father ever was.

Even thought at times Amelia's can seem like quite the tyrant like her father she just wants whats best for her People and her kingdom. Despite her "iron fist" approach Amelia even though she denies it and tries to cover it up the best she can has a gentle heart. She is feared by her People but also respected and beloved. The way that her People feel towards her is kind of how a child sees their own mother. While they are at times intimated by her they know that she loves them and they love her too and they show her the respect that she is entitled. Her unconditional love for her People is what gives her the strength to rule her kingdom at the most stressful of times. She feels like she owes every individual person who follows her the best of herself and she is determined to give them that.

Image
She's compassionate and rewards those who are loyal to her. While she is a naturally compassionate person she will never let that cloud her judgement especially when it comes to things that she knows is wrong. Being a young and beautiful woman, men who do not know her will attempt to take advantage of mind and try to will her to their desires. Do not let her beauty fool you, she is far from gullible and is a very intelligent and cunning woman.

Amelia is ambitious, resilient and emotionally very strong. She's independent and strong-headed and while she will always listen to the advice that her small council provides her with in the end she will always do what as she wants. Being young she can be naive but is quick of understanding. Like all people she has made many mistakes and will continue to do so but she always learns from her mistakes as so she will never make the same mistake twice. Looking up to her father taught her how to be ruthless and unforgiving, but what she also learned from her father was pride, confidence and skills of command. Which are things she now uses to rule the South Atlantic Kingdom.

Skills
~Archery. She is skilled in archery and excels at mounted archery.
~Weaponry. She is skilled with a short bow, long bow and a longsword.
~Princess Matters. Sewing, Dancing, Musical Instruments, ect.
~Being strong. Amelia isn't all that physically strong, but she is able to have strength in the face of great despair or troubled times.
~Adaptation. She is able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations with ease.
~Captivation. Amelia has a presence that not many can match. From her beauty alone, to the words she speaks, she can easily hold the attention of others.

Amelia Stormborn was the first born child of the king and queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom. As with all kings her father had wanted her to be a son instead of a daughter but he loved the little girl regardless of her gender, both of her parents did. As an infant and toddler her life was no different than that of your average baby aside from where she lived and the twenty-four hour baby servants. Shortly after her seventh birthday Amelia began her lessons from her kingdom's most noble septa who taught her things a princess was to know such as matters of etiquette and history and activities such as sewing and other things.

Whenever Amelia wasn't being taught in the ways of a princess she was by her father's side. In her seven years of life since her birth her parents had tried to conceive the heir that they wanted but three pregnancies pasted and all ended in with either a miscarriage or a stillborn. The lost of three children made her mother depressed and withdraw from the world only coming out of her chambers when the time came for her to fulfill her queenly duties. Her mother isolating herself only made Amelia and her father bond closer and stronger. When it came to death of his other children Amelia's father didn't look at it the same as his wife. He took it as a sign from the gods that the South Atlantic Kingdom already had their true heir to the throne and that was his daughter Amelia. She was to be the next ruler of the kingdom.

Once it became clear to the king that he would never have another child aside from Amelia he put all his energy and focus into the young girl. When she was nine her father hired a master sword-fighter to be an instructor to his daughter to teach her how to defend herself in case the time ever came that she needed to do so. Along with being taught the ways of the sword her father also had her trained in the field of bows and arrows. Starting from on the field to while riding horseback. Being taught by her septa as well as by the instructors her father hired to teach her Amelia grew up with both the knowledge of intellect and skill. Over the years Amelia and her father only grew closer and closer becoming as shadows to one another. She joined her father in all his affairs from meetings with his small council to his meetings in the throne room with the commoners to help them with whatever issues they having. Whenever her father left taking trips to distance lands her father would bring her along wanting her to absorbed whatever she could from their ventures.

When Amelia turned fourteen she was given three petrified dragon eggs as a gift for her birthday during a time of peace between her kingdom and Drake City. From what she had learned about her family's history her ancestors had once tamed dragons and used them in war. It was with the use of dragons that her family had taken the South Atlantic Kingdom centuries before she was born. From the time she received the eggs Amelia treasured them, while they were nothing but fossils for some unexplainable reason she felt a irresistible bond to the eggs.

The time of peace for the South Atlantic Kingdom lasted up until an abrupt war began against the Drake City. The reason behind the war was simple, Amelia father wanted more land and he was going to get it by taking the city of Drake. Before the war had begun her father had given the city the chance to surrender but the people of Drake were a proud people and would do no such thing. Amelia didn't see the reason for expansion as she saw no problem with how the kingdom was already. This caused tension between the two for the first time and Amelia's life and led to many arguments between the two. Against her wishing and begging the war between the two lands started and lasted for over a year making her fifteenth birthday the her first birthday without her father.

Image

During the time of war Amelia's mother had stepped up and took control of the kingdom while her husband and the other men were away fighting. Her mother taking on the role of the king left Amelia with the responsibilities of the queen. The time of war was the longest period of time Amelia had ever gone without being near her father and it took a toll on the young girl not knowing where her father was and if he was okay. Despite all of the harsh words and anger that had been shared between the two Amelia still loved her father and just prayed for his safe return. News that her father and his army was fast approaching the capital of Drake City bought her and mother joy as it seemed her father and the rest of the knights would be soon returning home. Weeks went by without word of news concerning the wars and finally on that day when the messenger crow arrived it's message told of her father's death. He had been killed in what he thought was his final battle to victory.

Image

The Stormborn women fell into a state of great depression both locking themselves in the chambers as they hurt and cried their hearts out. Her mother after all the lost she had suffered through with her children and now husband had nothing left within her heart and soul. A week and half after hearing the news about her husband's death the woman took her own life while in her chambers on a stormy night. The next day when Amelia heard of what her mother had done the young teenager flew into a rage that was filled of anger and sadness as she couldn't grasp the fact that both of her parents were now gone and she was all alone.

Image

That night when she slept she had a dream and in that dream her father came to her and spoke to her and told her that this had all happened because it is what the gods wanted. The gods had made it clear to him that she was the heir that her kingdom needed and now it was time for to be the queen that her People now needed to get the through this time of despair. The next day Amelia awoke and her father's words pushed her to do the job that she had been raised and trained to do. While she had always know that she was destined to be queen she had never thought that she would have to take on the responsibility of the kingdom at such a young age or because of such circumstances. That night Amelia is crowned the Queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom.

The Dragons

Image

The first thing she had to as queen was to put a stop to the war her father and so many others had died from. Against the advise of now her small council she boarded a ship with her Queensguard and traveled to Drake City. When she first arrived at the Drake City the king would not meet with her seeing her as nothing more than a child despite her crowning. Amelia was determined however and she stayed where she was for several months spending her sixteenth birthday inside enemy territory.

Finally once he saw that the queen wasn't going anywhere until they spoke he agreed to sit down with her. There meeting had gone on for several long days in which a lot talking had gone on. She finally got the king to end the war in pledging her kingdom's forces to the king if her ever need them. In return there would be peace between them and he gave her her father's deceased body so that her father could return home for a proper ceremony to be given. While she held a hatred for the king she agreed to peace knowing that at the state her kingdom was in it would fall if the war continued.

Returning home with her father's body she wasted no time as she prepared both of her funerals the night she docked back in her kingdom. That night her parents funeral pyre had been set outside on their favorite beach where they had first met and had many happy times together. Amelia looked to this funeral as the start of a new chapter in her life. Her parents were gone and she was now going to be all alone but she had slowly begun to accept it and at that moment she was ready to put all of the pain she had been feeling behind her and move forward with the memories of the good times in her life. She placed the dragon eggs around her parents funeral pyre before lighting it a blaze. For a reason that she could not explain she felt an urge pulling her into the flames. Her right hand tried to restrain her from going but after reassuring him she walked into the fire.

The rays of the morning sun fell over the kingdom the flames of the night had extinguished. To the surprise of all who expected her to be dead after being burnt alive Amelia was still alive. As she rose crawling on her bare body were three small dragons. Dragons had been extinct for centuries and no one had ever expected them to ever return to world. As the people bowed to her Amelia felt like she had just been reborn. Her old life was gone an she was her new life was starting. She was no longer Princess Amelia Stormborn of the South Atlantic Kingdom. She was now Amelia Stormborn, Queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom, the Unburnt Mother of Dragons.

Eira Gunvald

It was the early hours of the morning in the South Atlantic Kingdom and Eira was walking through the almost deserted streets, it wouldn’t be long before she had to retreat indoors to avoid the sun’s rays. She had been tasked with a simple mission of reconnaissance of the Drake Kingdom’s movement, a task she had begrudgingly accepted as she would much rather have just killed the King himself and be done with it but Amelia did not wish to risk spurring a war if Eira was unsuccessful.

After some time of walking Eira reached the palace gates, the guards nodding as she passed. Although her nature was not publically known, Eira was still one of the Queen’s advisors and allowed entry wherever she pleased. Her boots echoed throughout the halls as she walked quickly towards the Queen’s chambers a messenger already sent ahead to warn of her early coming.

By the time she had reached the door to the Queens personal chambers, Eira could already feel the familiar edge of her requirement for blood beginning to creep up on her. It would have to wait, although Amelia tolerated the vampires requirements Eira could tell it turned her stomach.

Raising a fist, Eira knocked on the door before entering, closing it behind her. “Your majesty, I have unfortunate news.” She said as she bowed low to the young queen.

It was the time of the twilight hour in the South Atlantic Kingdom. A time when most people would still be lying fast asleep in their beds reoccupying from the past day events. However, this morning one of the few people who were actual awake in the kingdom was Queen Amelia. The night before she had been told by a messenger that one of personal advisors would be arriving to see her by dawn. She couldn't say that she was thrilled to be up at this hour but she was told that the reasoning for this early meeting was of great importance so she was awake and waiting.

Walking onto her balcony with a glass of wine in head Amelia overlooked her kingdom. The castle had many great views but she had to admit she loved the view she got from her balcony the best. Raising the glass to her lips she took a sip of wine as the sound of knocking on her door sounded. Gulping down the liquid left in the glass Amelia prepared herself for whatever it was she was about to be told. Walking through the silk drapes Amelia re-entered her bedroom to see her advisor Eira.

Eira was one of Amelia's many hired royal spies that she used to get intel on the other lands. Eira was different from the others because not only did she also served as an assassin and a good one at that but she wasn't human. When Amelia had first heard of Eira she was impressed by her skill but her vampirism made her uncomfortable and the thought of the woman drinking blood sickened her. However, Eira's skill was far more important than her bloodlust to Amelia which is why the woman had been employed by her.

“Your majesty, I have unfortunate news.”
Eira said as she bowed to the queen. A knot formed in the pit of Amelia's stomach as Eira got directly to the point of her being there. Amelia had assigned Eira to gathered all information she could on Drake City and it's king's movements. The peace treaty established between the two lands had done nothing to subdue the tension between them. This is why Amelia was treading with caution and why she didn't go with Eira's method to just have the king killed. While she had faith in Eira's capabilities the risk of her failure was to high for Amelia to stake. "What did you find?" Amelia asked as she took a seat on her bed.

Eira stood herself upright once more as the Queen answered her, obviously already preparing herself for the bad news. “King Moloch has moved west to begin discussions with the Khal of the South Pacific Kingdom.” The vampire’s words were calm as she drank in the fine decoration of the room; she had been in there many times of course, but it’s décor always seemed very fresh to her.

“The Khal is of course very power hungry himself and could very well jump at the chance to join a new war.” She continued, turning her attention to the pristinely dressed queen. “It could be time for the South Atlantic to begin gaining allies, if nothing else as a deterrent.”

“I have also received news that the Kingdom of Wa has begun negotiations with one of the Fyrkat clans though I am yet to discover which one but with their already standing close relations with the Anansai they could be a prosperous option.” Eira didn’t break the queen’s gaze as she spoke, her emerald eyes locked with the young monarch’s.

It wasn’t until Eira had finished her report that she really began to pay attention to the other formalities she’d missed. “Forgive me ma’am, I know it is early. I hope you are well.” She added stepping nearer to the monarch. “I have also brought you a gift back from Drake City.” She smiled, untying a small pouch from her belt and presenting it to the Queen. Inside was a small golden broach in the shape of a dragon, though of a simple design it was obviously very expensive.

Amelia's eyes met the vampire's gaze as she gave her full report on everything she had uncovered since the last time they had since each other. “King Moloch has moved west to begin discussions with the Khal of the South Pacific Kingdom.” This news gave reason for the sudden drop of her stomach. She had never seen or personally met the Khal of the South Pacific Kingdom but word of his reputation and the things he had done had reached her. From what she had heard the Khal was a beast of a man who was more of a brute than her father ever was, and if Drake City and the South Pacific Kingdom joined forces this would spell great trouble for her kingdom. While peace was said to be peace between her kingdom and Drake City the tension between the two ruling royals was undeniable. It was for that reason that she had had spies such as Eira placed within the city.

“The Khal is of course very power hungry himself and could very well jump at the chance to join a new war.” Amelia nodded but said nothing as Eira words only made Amelia more nervous. “It could be time for the South Atlantic to begin gaining allies, if nothing else as a deterrent.” The conversation and thought of forming an allegiance with other lands had come up in many small council meetings and the fact that Eira thought the same only proved that the council was right. The South Atlantic kingdom needed to form an alliance or two. Where to start thought was something that Amelia couldn't determine.

“I have also received news that the Kingdom of Wa has begun negotiations with one of the Fyrkat clans though I am yet to discover which one but with their already standing close relations with the Anansai they could be a prosperous option.” Gaining an alliance with the Kingdom of Wa, one of the many Fyrkat clans or the kingdom of Anansai would be beneficial at a time when it seemed a war was brewing. Eira's information had proven to be most useful and while it left the young queen with many troubling concerns she glad to have this information so she could use to to benefit the well being of her kingdom. At the current moment she wasn't a hundred percent sure what her next move would be but whatever it was she would have to act sooner rather than later.

“Forgive me ma’am, I know it is early. I hope you are well.”
Amelia mind had snapped back into reality at the sound of Eira's words, "The information you have granted me with is well worth the crack of dawn hour. I greatly appreciate you as well as your services Eira. With sunrise fast approaching you know your are welcomed to the kingdom as well as whatever else you may require." Amelia words were soft spoken and accompanied with a warm smile. Amelia was truly grateful for Eira and considered her as well as her services a gift from her Seven-Faced God.

As the vampire approached her she spoke, “I have also brought you a gift back from Drake City.” The smile on the woman's face left Amelia curious as to what her gift could be. She watched Eira take a small pouch from her belt and she looked at it was wondering eyes as it was presented to her. Untying the small pouch before her Amelia's face lit up with joy as she saw that within the pouch was a small golden broach in the shape of a dragon. The design of the broach was a simple one but that didn't change it's expensive quality that Amelia could tell it was made from.

The queen stood in awe as her gazed was fixed on the small gold dragon. She had been giving many gifts in her lifetime and while nothing could ever replace that of the dragon eggs she had been giving on her birthday four years earlier this gift was of genuine beauty. Standing up she embraced Eira in a hug ignoring the fact that at that moment Eira could possible want to drain her dry of the blood that coursed through her veins. Pulling away she took the broach from Eira and for a moment she studied the beautiful dragon it displayed. For a moment all of of the worry of what Drake City was scheming didn't matter to the young woman as she looked up and smiled, "I will treasure this gift always. Thank you Eira."

It amazed her how much joy a small broach could bring her, but it wasn't just the broach but what it represented that meant so much to her. Also the fact that Eira didn't have to bring her anything but her knowledge only made the broach mean so much more. Before Eira left her kingdom Amelia would definitely be granted her of gift of her own but for now she had greater concerns. She would be calling a small council meeting into service before the day was over to share the information Eira had given her and plan her next move.

A knock on her door followed by the voice of Nala one of her hand maidens told Amelia that it was time for her to get ready. "I must begin my day but please help yourself to the castle. Just let one of the guards no of anything you need and it shall be given." With a smile Amelia sounded for the maidens to enter before being ushered away to groomed for the day.

As her handmaiden Nala finished pinning up her hair Amelia rose from where she saw and shed her clothing. The heated water gave of a steam that told just how hot the scorching water was. Climbing up the cold marble steps that led to the awaiting water when she reached the top she stepped lightly into the steaming water before sinking down into the bath letting he body be engulfed in the heated water. For other people the temperature of the water would be discomforting but the sweltering water to her was soothing and relaxed her body. She allowed her mind to wandered as her handmaidens did their job of bathing the silver queen.

A little over a hour later Amelia stood fully dressed in a beautiful blue and red gown with her hair flowing down her back in its natural soft wavy state. A soft knock on her door sounded "Enter," she said over her shoulder granted entry into her chambers to whoever stood on the other side of the door. Her right hand Cadeyrn entered immediately after "Good Morrow your Grace." Turning to face the tall man she smiled "Good Morrow Cadeyrn. I hope all has been well for you this morning because I can promise nothing good will come of the rest of this day." Cadeyrn look at his queen with knowing eyes, "My queen, you are troubled and the day has barely begun." Amelia let out a low sigh "All shall be explained soon enough Cadeyrn. Gather the men of the council! I seek their advise in dealing with a situation that has been brought to my attention." Cadeyrn gave a nod followed by a bow as he made his exited to go do the bidding of his queen.

As the door closed behind the man the muffled sounds of her awakening dragons made her smile as she turned and walked over to them. Her beautiful children looked like a bundle of scaly pups all huddled together as they slept every night. Kneeling down she embraced each of them moving her soft hand over the course of their bodies "Good Morrow my sleeping beauties," she said with a genuine smile on her face. They began to wiggle and shift around as they came out of their sleepy state. With her smile still on her face she stood up "Nala! Dacey!" she called for two of her handmaiden, "Yes you Grace.", they spoke in sync. Turning around she looked at her handmaidens "Bring breakfast for myself and the dragons." The two women nodded "Yes your Grace," they yet again answered in the same in sync way as before as they left the room.

Walking back over to the dragons to where the dragons were all sprawled out together she sat down on the floor beside. One by one they moved from their bed to Amelia snuggling up and laying down beside and on top of her. The conversation she had had with Eira was at the front of her mind and she couldn't push it away. If she was to go to war with Drake City and Drake City alone she didn't doubt that she could be victorious. Not because she was underestimating King Moloch like her father had but because with everything she had put into rebuilding her army she had the utmost trust and faith in her soldiers skills and abilities. She truly felt in her heart that if she was to go against King Moloch that she could win the war her father had lost. However she had felt that before word of him giving allies which he would most likely use to defeat her crossed her mind. If King Moloch combined his forces with that of Khal Jinn's the chances of her victory grew to be quiet slim. If war was to happen again with Drake City she would need allies in order to ensure its defeat.

Eira nodded knowingly as Amelia gave her permission to gain the sustenance she required, it was a slightly unusual arrangement she had with the young Queen; her services for the usual payment of gold and the royal permission to drink from whomever she wished. She wasn’t greedy however never taking more than her fill and always disposing of the bodies properly as such for the moment her nature had gone unnoticed and the guards only putting it down to another of the everyday murders.

Standing up Amelia embraced Eira in a hug ignoring the fact that at that moment Eira could possible want to drain her dry of the blood that coursed through her veins. Eira was shocked at the hug and at first did not react but remembering her place she hugged the Queen back, her icy skin differing greatly from Amelia’s own. It did pang Eira’s instinct to be so close to a mortal and she had to fight back her urges, the smell of Amelia’s blood caressing her senses.

She managed to pull herself back into focus as the young queen let go, "I will treasure this gift always. Thank you Eira. Smiling Eira bowed lightly to the queen. “It was my pleasure your highness.” She answered simply; it always lit the vampire’s icy heart up to see the Queen so happy. She was not just an employer to the assassin but the closest thing to a friend she’d ever had in her long life.

"I must begin my day but please help yourself to the castle. Just let one of the guards know of anything you need and it shall be given." Eira bowed once again, to the queen as she dismissed her turning around and leaving the door once the maidens had entered.

She walked quickly back through the palace, the sun was rising and it would be dangerous for Eira to hunt for herself so she would have to have someone find her meal for her. ‘Maybe I should hire an apprentice.’ She thought to herself as she began to climb the steps to her wing in the tower.

Eventually after climbing the many steps to her quiet wing, Eira called over the guard that was stationed close to her door, asking him to go out into the city and bring her a girl for the day one that he himself would gladly have. Nodding the guard left his post and made out into the early morning streets, although Eira’s vampiric nature was known her favour for a courtesan was already more than a rumour. Retiring to her chambers, Eira began to write out the notes to her vast network of informants while she awaited her meal and later her queen’s summons.

Amelia stood at the end of the table as the members of the small council filed into the room. It had been an hour since breakfast had pasted and it was now time for more pressing matters to be addressed. A meeting of such urgency had never been called upon before by Amelia so the men all knew that whatever was going on it was of a matter of great importance and concern. Sitting down first at the head of the table she looked at the other seven men in the room "Please be seated.", she said granted them permission to seat.

Releasing a deep breath to calm her nerves she began filling in the council "This morning was of my spies who also serves as one of most trusted advisor outside of you all of course informed of new about King Moloch. She told that the king of Drake City has gone to the South Pacific Kingdom to have words with Khal Jinn. While no one can be sure of what has been said between the two I do not see many reasons for the King of Drake to leave his city outside of a few."

"Your Grace, if I may?" Amelia nodded to Cadeyrn giving him the okay to voice his opinion. "Our Kingdom and the City have had peace for the last several years. We've done nothing to entice the king. Why would King Moloch choose to throw away the peace between are lands now?" That was a question that Amelia had no true answer for as she herself did not know the reasoning behind the man. "I cannot speak for the king as I myself am not him. However, I can say that in this time of peace there has also been great tension. King Moloch robbed my father of his life and for that between the two of us there can never really be peace. It is because of that reason that I've always known that the war my father started is not truly over."

"Is that why you have put so much energy into our arm forces?" her Lord Commander spoke to which she answered with a nod of her head. "Yes. I've known that this day would someday come I just didn't count on Drake City bringing forth allies when it did. If it was just our kingdom and the city going to war I would not doubt our victory, but when the South Pacific Kingdom is added to the fire the game changes." With nodding heads all around it was clear that it was no secret that the South Pacific Kingdom was a fierce force to encounter.

"Whether or not Khal Jinn chooses to join King Moloch cause and strike against us is something we cannot control. At this point in time it seems are best choice of action is to gain our own force of allies." Amelia nodded to words spoken by the Grand Maester as his words was what she had been thinking all day. "That much is clear but who do we ask to take up our cause?" Amelia looked around at the men as they all pondered for an answer to her question. "My advisor brought forth the idea of Kingdom of Wa or the Empire of Anansai. Perhaps even a clan of Fyrkat could make a good ally at times such as this.", she said wanting their ideas about the given suggestions.

"It is know that the Empire of Anansai are very accepting of alliances. Princess Tenanye is known as a great ambassador for a reason. There is a great chance that if you were to ask to form alliance with the empire that it would be accepted. However, the empire is known for making alliances not enemies. If they were to accept an offer from us it would mean making an enemy of not only Drake City but possibly the South Pacific Kingdom. I'm not sure they would agree under those circumstances.", spoke her Master of Whisperers.

"Both the Kingdom of Wa and the clans of Fyrkat could serve as great allies." Cadeyrn said in reassurance seeing the young queen's complex facial expression. "When it comes to means barbarians the warriors of Fyrkat could be exactly what we need to go up against the warriors of the South Pacific Kingdom." Amelia wasn't a fan of the word barbarians being used to describe people but now wasn't the time to get into that. "While Fyrkat has great warriors the clans have been separated for centuries fighting in a war of their own." the Grand Maester said making Amelia unsure of whether or not the Fyrkat was the way to go.

"And that is the key to getting them to agreed. We shall grant them our forces to help unite the clans back into one kingdom. In return for this if war was to transpire between Drake City and our gracious kingdom they would lend their help to defeat the enemy." Amelia listened as her Lord Commander spoke and she thought his plan could actually work. As the discussion deepened Amelia took in the wisdom, ideas and opinions of all seven of her advisors as she considered all of her options.

Deliberation continued on as it seemed the council had finally agreed upon a course of action. "So it is decided then. I shall go to the land of Fyrkat to have words with the ruler of the Leiknir clan, Ulfar Leiknir." After much discussion about which clan had the best chance of winning the war it was obvious that the Leiknir clan held the best chance. "While I agreed on the choice of clan I must say I am not comfortable with the idea of you going beyond the city walls at this time your majesty." Amelia let a small sigh escape her as she looked at her Lord Commander "I must be the one to go. Something of this importance I can leave to no other."

"Yes, but with the chances of war erupting any day now the last place you need to be is miles away from your kingdom that depends on you to protect it." Placing her hands to her head Amelia knew the words spoken were words of truth. "If it would please you my Grace I will go to Fyrkat on your behalf." Looking over at Cadeyrn Amelia gave a small smile "You wish to travel to the Fyrkat lands?" the dark man nodded "As your hand it is my job to help you fulfill the needs of the kingdom. While the kingdom requires an ally it also needs you to remain where you are. So, I shall journey to Fyrkat in hopes of swaying the leader of the Leiknir clan to our side."

While Amelia wished to go to meet with Ulfar Leiknir in person she understood where the council was coming from and if she herself couldn't go she trusted no one more than Cadeyrn with the task. Looking to her Master of Ships she spoke to him "Have a ship ready by dawn." the man nodded. Looking back over at Cadeyrn "If you are going to go you won't be going alone. Since you cannot accompany me on this trip I will have someone accompany you. My advisor Eira. She is more than she appears and I will feel great knowing she is by your side." Cadeyrn appeared reluctant at first but he nodded his head after a moment, "Whatever makes you feel most at ease my Queen."

Dismissing the council Amelia was happy with the decisions made and just hoped that Cadeyrn would be successful in persuading the leader of the Leiknir clan. Rising from her chair she left the meeting room and walked the halls of the castle. Climbing the stairs to the Eira's chambers she knocked on the door and waited for an answer. She didn't want to risk walking in on Eira if she was in the middle of taking chair of her vampiric needs.

Eira Gunvald

Eira hadn’t been working long before a knock at her door announced the return of the guard. “Ah, good.” She smiled coldly to herself as she got up from her work and moved over to open the door. The girl couldn’t have been much older than 18 and her ginger hair fell neatly down her shoulders framing a pale freckled face. She gestured beside her and the young girl walked in nervously, giving Eira the chance to admire her from behind. She was evidently a street rat but still fresh from a warm bed, free from infestations and without the signs of a lifetime of sleeping rough not to mention the barely ragged clothing.

“Are you hungry?” Eira asked, closing the door again. “I have food going plenty if you are.” She offered once again, moving over to pour the girl some wine. The bottle was kept especially for her ‘guests’ as it was obviously not compatible with her diet. The girl shyly nodded her head as she thankfully took the glass from Eira, obviously very new to this specific line of work. “What is your name?”

“M…Meredith” the girl responded shyly, desperately attempting to look up at the pale spy.

Eira couldn’t help but smile, she was cute she had to admit. Perhaps she would be merciful tonight, she did not after all need to kill her. “Well Meredith, I am Eira and you know why I wanted you here but I will not be forceful. Just relax.”

Several hours passed quickly and Eira knew it wouldn’t be long until the Queen would be returning so she swung her long legs out from beneath the sheets to begin readying herself for more orders, her lover of the evening lying sound asleep in the satin sheets still showing the signs of exhaustion from their escapades. Pulling her clothes back on Eira moved over to the mirror to run a brush through her hair and ready herself for the Queens presence.

Within moments Eira had totally removed all traces of her actions and quietly closed the door to her bedchamber allowing the young street rat to sleep soundly the lack of energy, loss of blood and the first comfortable bed in a while was evidently too much for the girl.

Refocusing herself Eira moved back over to her desk to continue her work when the door knocked once again, Amelia had returned. Eira opened the door and gestured within, “Come in your majesty.” She offered with a bow.

“Come in your majesty.” Amelia nodded giving off a soft smile as she entered Eira's room. The room was beautifully decorated like ever other room in the castle, she always loved the great detail to went into the interior design of the castle. "I hope the guards proved useful to you and got you everything you required." With all the great work Eira did for her it meant a great deal to Amelia that the vampire treated as well as any noble.

"I've met with the small council and they've agreed with you. With war brewing the kingdom is in need of allies and we need to get them quickly if we want any chance of winning this coming war." Amelia stated as she took a seat in a chair. "After hours of discussion we've decided that the Leiknir Clan of Fyrkat would prove to be beneficial allies." She was hoping that out of the ten Fyrkat clans they were choosing the right one.

"I wished to discuss the matter in person with Ulfar Leiknir but I have been advised that my presence is needed within the city. It is for that reason that my right hand Cadeyrn will be going to Fyrkat in my place. While I faith that Caderyn could succeed on his own I would ask that you accompany him on his journey." Out of all the people Amelia could have sent Eira was perfect person to go with Cadeyrn as they could look for and advise each other. "The ship is being prepared now and will be setting out at dawn. Can you be ready by then?"

Eira quietly shut the door behind the young Queen and followed her to the small table within the centre of the room and took a seat opposite her. "I hope the guards proved useful to you and got you everything you required." Amelia asked politely.

“Yes, my needs have been satiated for the time being, thank you your majesty.” Eira answered, her mind flitting to the sleeping girl in her bedchamber. “Though other than my needs as a vampire I have little other requirements of the guards.” She added, drawing herself back to the matter at hand.

"After hours of discussion we've decided that the Leiknir Clan of Fyrkat would prove to be beneficial allies."

Eira’s mind travelled back a couple of hundred years to her youth, remembering what must be Ulfar’s ancestor before the frozen lands descended into civil war, he was an ass so she hoped that Ulfar had at least managed to outbreed that. "I wished to discuss the matter in person with Ulfar Leiknir but I have been advised that my presence is needed within the city. It is for that reason that my right hand Cadeyrn will be going to Fyrkat in my place. While I have faith that Caderyn could succeed on his own I would ask that you accompany him on his journey." Amelia continued.

This was not what Eira was hoping for, being sent to make relations was one thing but trying to convince Cadeyrn that travelling at night alone would be a good idea was going to become a nightmare. “Your majesty, if I may speak freely; Cadeyrn does not know of my heritage, how will I avoid him discovering me? You know he would try to kill me and hamper the mission let alone lose you your right hand man. Also, if your own personal bodyguard and spy master are both out of the castle who will there be left here to protect you?” she said.

Eira was sitting forward in her chair now the familiar fire in her eyes beginning to spark. “Forgive my rudeness ma’am but this mission could end badly with just Cadeyrn and I, even if I manage to hide my nature from Cadeyrn what if the Leiknir are not so easily fooled? They might also turn us away just because of me, believe me ma’am, Vampires are not welcomed anywhere.”

“Your majesty, if I may speak freely; Cadeyrn does not know of my heritage, how will I avoid him discovering me? You know he would try to kill me and hamper the mission let alone lose you your right hand man. Also, if your own personal bodyguard and spy master are both out of the castle who will there be left here to protect you?” After the day she had been having the last thing Amelia wanted to hear was the words Eira spoke.

She knew that Cadeyrn not knowing of Eira's being could be an issue but she overlooked it and lied to herself saying that Eira's vampirism would not be a problem. However, the woman was right about Cadeyrn did not know of her heritage and how he would react to it only he knew. "Neither you or Cadeyrn serve as bodyguards to me. That is the role of the Queensguard which are not going anywhere. Which leaves me fairly well protected within the city."

Continuing on Amelia added, "As far as Cadeyrn discovering what you are in the chance of discovery I doubt he would attempt to kill you." This on Amelia's part was just wishful thinking but while she was trying to convince Eira she was now also attempting to convince herself that this was the right move. "Cadeyrn maybe a man but no human could be so stupid as to try and kill a vampire known of your skills."

The vampire now sat forward in her chair with an igniting fire in her eyes. “Forgive my rudeness ma’am but this mission could end badly with just Cadeyrn and I, even if I manage to hide my nature from Cadeyrn what if the Leiknir are not so easily fooled? They might also turn us away just because of me, believe me ma’am, Vampires are not welcomed anywhere.” Amelia gave a loud sigh, she hadn't wanted to address all of the problems that could occur from Eira just being a vampire.

Eira on the other hand seemed to want to point out all flaws in Amelia's plan. While she did find it be quite annoying at this moment she knew the woman was right. Her willingness to speak truth was one of the main reasons aside from her deadly killing skills and great spy work that Amelia kept her around. "Fine! You will not be going with Cadeyrn to Fyrkat." Amelia put her head in her hands as she began thinking of what to do. After a moment she looked up at Eira "I must be going now."

Raising from her chair she covered her anxiety with the gracious smile of a queen. She would not let the coming war destroy her before it even started. "If you are to stay within the city which you now will be doing you shall serve as my new Queen's Hand. With Cadeyrn gone I will need someone to replace him for the time of his absence. As with all who bear the title of Queen's Hand you will have all of the responsibilities and will be residing in the Tower of the Hand. Finish up whatever business you had going on here and meet me in the Great Hall."

Pushing in her chair she turned and exited the room to find six members of the Queensguard awaiting her. "Find the Lord Commander and summon him to the Great Hall." Nodding one of the guards left to go find the head of the Queensguard. The other five guards as if each acting as her shadow followed her to the Great Hall.

"Neither you or Cadeyrn serve as bodyguards to me. That is the role of the Queensguard which are not going anywhere. Which leaves me fairly well protected within the city." Amelia stated calmly, obviously not favouring the vampires protestations. “Your majesty, I prevent your enemies attacking you, guards can do nothing from an assassin and Cadeyrn is always going to be your last defence when everyone else falls.” Eira protested.

The queen sighed at Eira’s protestations "Fine! You will not be going with Cadeyrn to Fyrkat." Perhaps she had been too uncouth but she was not about to risk a mission with more pitfalls then really necessary. “Forgive me your majesty. I spoke out of term.” She added solemnly.

"I must be going now." Eira stood as Amelia did, bowing her head as she did so in respect, though Amelia’s smile seemed confident that Eira had not angered her fully. "If you are to stay within the city which you now will be doing you shall serve as my new Queen's Hand. With Cadeyrn gone I will need someone to replace him for the time of his absence. As with all whom bear the title of Queen's Hand you will have all of the responsibilities and will be residing in the Tower of the Hand. Finish up whatever business you had going on here and meet me in the Great Hall."

It was definitely not what the vampire had expected, a promotion such as this temporary though it was it meant she was removed from the shadows and placed fully on public view. “Of course your Majesty. Thank you.” Was all she managed to speak in her surprise.

Eira quietly closed the door behind Amelia before her mind caught up with her and she hurriedly threw her armour on and tightened the many buckles that held the black leather together. Just as she was heading to collect her sword she remembered the young street rat still sleeping in her bed. “Damnit!” she hissed to herself before she moved over to wake her. “Meredith. Wake up. I must leave for my duties but you are welcome to stay. I have food aplenty and more than enough books to amuse yourself with.” She placed a finger across the girl’s lips as she made to speak. “If you wish to leave then do so now but if you do we both know you are with little hope.” She added planting a soft kiss on the girl’s forehead before turning and sheathing her thin bladed Falchion and leaving from the door, giving a nod to the guard outside. “If she steals anything; kill her.” She ordered coldly before making her way back down the many steps.

Thankfully for Eira the frozen months had arrived and the sun was setting early so she had free movement within the expansive and irritatingly well-lit castle her sword swinging in its sheath at her hip until she finally arrived at the door to the great hall; taking a deep and slightly unnecessary breath she opened the doors and approached the Queen and her guards.

"Immune to flame?... We shall see."

Jinn said darkly as he rose and turned away from Moloch. A voice in his head echoed the King's words immune to flame but the massive Khal merely cast this occurrence aside as his excitement of what was to come. Instead he allowed his mind to drift, as it had done when he plotted the death and inevitable rebirth of Arkham, to run wild. Images of great fires purging the shining capitol of the South Atlantic Kingdom. The young Queen whom Jinn has never seen nor knew much about was absent from his visions but her screams, those were there, ever present in the back ground as her city burned. Jinn walked through the streets, the blood of the dead and dying splashed across his body. Moloch rode ahead of him, atop a magnificent white stallion, carrying the banner of his house. The king had finally defeated his enemy and Jinn had liberated the world of yet another corrupt elitist. The road to salvation is, as always, paved in the blood of the entitled decadent. He could almost feel the heat from the fire as the people of the South Atlantic burned for the sins of their leader.

Back in the here and the now Jinn turned to Moloch with an eerie calm in his dark eyes.

"Three days will serve as the stone that signals the avalanche. My armies will be raised. By boot and horse and war ship they will embark across land and sea. I will meet you again in that time and we will deal with the intricacies of laying siege to the Queens country. Let the scholars and magi deal with what power they think we should fear."

For the briefest of moments, no more than a fraction of a second in time the voice in Jinn's mind spoke again yet this time with force and anger at being ignored. Something about this woman was effecting Jinn, he did not like it but it was there, under the surface. As if there was something he was forgetting that he just could not place. Like a shark waiting in the deep this woman meant something to Jinn, this Queen this... Mother of Dragons.

"You are to present the king and his daughter with these gifts. Hopefully this along with the chance of defeating their enemies in a war that has been going on for centuries should be enough to sway them to our cause." Amelia eyes were set on Cadeyrn who eyes rested on the queen's gifts. As he slowly closed the chest he spoke, "I will not fail you my grace." Amelia smiled "You never have in the past. I have no reason to think you shall now." The two embraced in a hug of genuine friendship, she was praying to her Seven-faced God that all went as planned.

As Cadeyrn took his leave the Lord Commander entered the Great Hall. "You sent for me." Amelia nodded "Plans have changed. Cadeyrn is going to Fyrkat alone and Eira will be stepping in as my hand until he returns." As if on cue when Amelia mentioned her name Eira entered walking through the doors of the Great Hall and walked over to the Queen and the Queensguard. "Now that everyone is here. Let's begin!", walking up the few steps that lead to her throne she sat down and looked at the people before her.

"We all no that the King of Drake City has been plotting and scheming which means that the treaty between us is as if never existed. While I'd like to pretend that I never saw this coming I've always known that the peace between us was only temporary. A battle followed by a war is coming to a head and this time only one shall stand in it's wake. What are we going to do to make sure that it is this kingdom that still stands when the dusk clears?" Amelia eyed all parties in the room as no suggestions at this time were going to be over looked. It was time for the South Atlantic Kingdom to do some plotting and scheming of it's own.

Eira’s boots made little noise as she walked through the great hall and it appeared that the Lord Commander was yet to arrive from his post, she took her place in front of the Queen's throne as she began Cadeyrn’s briefing; "You are to present the king and his daughter with these gifts. Hopefully this along with the chance of defeating their enemies in a war that has been going on for centuries should be enough to sway them to our cause." The Queen began her loyal hand as always faithful to her orders.

As the dark skinned hand took his leave for Eira’s frozen homeland the Lord Commander made his arrival, "Plans have changed. Cadeyrn is going to Fyrkat alone and Eira will be stepping in as my hand until he returns." Eira gave a slight bow of her head as the Commander looked in her direction her long ginger hair falling over her pale face, it was of course only a matter of time until someone discovered Eira’s heritage and this new if temporary position could possibly pave way to that particular day but Eira had always known that her own abilities would not fail her if the Queen was wrong about her loyal followers.

“…What are we going to do to make sure that it is this kingdom that still stands when the dust clears?" The Queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom began; her closest advisers began to prepare their ideas. The Spymaster was the first to speak, already having thought of many various ways to turn the Drake Kings tactics on himself. “Your Grace, King Moloch’s army is still on par with yours; we must demoralise their forces so that they are already set up for defeat, perhaps if it is possible for us to dissuade the Khal from aiding in the war then we may crush Moloch’s forces before we’ve ever even met them on the field.”

"To keep our men in their homes with their family instead of on the field of battle is something I would like, but demoralizing Moloch's forces will be no easy task."

The men nodded as they knew their Queen spoke truth. "Forget the demoralization! I say we just move in now. The King of Drake is gone and while I doubt the city is defenseless they are still without a king to lead them into battle. We could take advantage of this and march now and seize the city before the king even had the chance to wage war." The Lord Commander spoke and in his words you could see why this man was knight, he lived for war. Amelia took in both the words of her Commander and Spymaster and while both plans were a way to go she wasn't sure if either path was the one she wanted to take.

"Why must their be a war at all?", she asked with a sense of thought as her own ideas were still forming in her mind. "I will not be the one who breaks the treaty of peace. I did not have it created so that I just one day choose to throw it away." The Commander looked as if he was about to speak but Amelia didn't give him the chance as she continued. "War is brewing but it has not come yet. I was able to convince the king to strike up peace when our kingdom was weak and an easy target. Who's to say I couldn't convince him to do the same now that are army now posses a real threat."

The men all looked doubtful but no one could dispute that the Queen had a point. "If there is a chance to stop the spillage of blood before it has even had a chance to flow should we not take it?" Looking at one of her guards she commanded "Fetch paper and ink! I shall send a letter to the South Pacific Kingdom requesting the presence of both the King of Drake and the Khal of the South Pacific." The guard nodded as he ran off to do as his Queen had ordered. To Amelia the reason behind Moloch's sudden want of war was puzzling. While their had always been tension between the two of them for him to suddenly want to drive his men out to battle was something she hadn't seen coming. She hoped by getting the King as well as Khal to meet with her she would be able to find out his reasonings and come to a comprise that would leave them both content as she had done years before.

Eira Gunvald

Eira had to resist the urge to grimace at the Lord Commanders words, they’d never seen particularly eye to eye and his wish to bash everything into submission differed entirely to her more subtle approach, normally if they happened to get into an argument it would become heated rapidly and guards often had to pull them away from another before blood was spilt.

The Queen’s own words broke her thoughts for this moment however; "Why must there be a war at all?"

Eira could see that the Lord Commander was about to voice his opinions but Amelia quickly dispelled the Commanders words, much to Eira’s secret pleasure. "If there is a chance to stop the spillage of blood before it has even had a chance to flow should we not take it?"

As one with the others, Eira weighed the option in her head, the queen was correct. No tactic could be better than total prevention; it was of course possible that the Drake King did not want war at all and was merely preparing for a possibility.

“It is true, your majesty.” Eira nodded eventually with chorusing from some of the other advisers. The guard quickly returned with the Queens request and the letter was already being written by the time anyone had gathered their thoughts to speak again.

“I will have my finest man deliver the letter in person, your majesty and I will ensure he has nothing but pleasantries on his tongue. Less we give the King the wrong idea.” Eira gently swept her ginger hair from her face as she summoned over one of her retainers who bowed upon approaching.

Turning quickly on her heel as the letter was passed over Eira leant over to her man and filled in his orders. “Take this directly to the Drake King, do not stop on the way and take this gold to buy fresh horses whenever necessary.” Eira passed the man a small bag of coin from her bag and sent the man on his way.

As she was giving the paper and other writing utensils she begin her letter to the Drake King. She wasn't sure what this letter would accomplish if it accomplished anything at all but she knew she at least had to try. Why she was like her father in many ways when it came to war she was also rather avoid than face it head on. She loved her own people to much to send countless numbers of them to marching to their death. If by the end of this King Moloch was still in his ways and forced her hand she would defend her kingdom to her very own death if it meant that. However, if he decided to redirect his intent and put his energy back into retaining the fragile peace that was already established between the two lands Amelia would be more than willing to do the same.

Once she was done writing and proofreading her letter to the King she looked upon the faces of the men and woman around her. She could tell that some agreed and others did not but their feelings at this moment weren't of any importance to her. They were all her advisors and she always took the time to heed their words of wisdom and warnings. At the end of the day however she was the Queen and had to make her own decisions. There would always be those who were happy with the choices she made and those who wouldn't agreed. In the end there was never a time when everyone would be pleased which is something she had quickly learned after taking the throne.

“I will have my finest man deliver the letter in person, your majesty and I will ensure he has nothing but pleasantries on his tongue. Less we give the King the wrong idea.” Amelia looked to Eira and smiled as she sealed with the letter with her family's royal seal she handed the letter down to a guard would pass it on to the woman. As Eira retainer approached and received the letter she spoke to him,“Take this directly to the Drake King, do not stop on the way and take this gold to buy fresh horses whenever necessary.” After taking the coin the man immediately took his leave and Amelia went to work writing a letter to the Khal of the South Pacific Kingdom.

She was nervous as she wrote the letter to the Khal. The Drake King she had met before and while she didn't favor him he was no mystery to her. The Khal on the other hand Amelia in truth knew nothing about aside from some small rumors and gossip she had heard here and there. What he knew of her was also a mystery to the young Queen but if all he did knew of her came from the mouth of the Drake King then his first impression of her couldn't be a good one. Despite that she hoped that the Khal would come to her kingdom and meet her in person so he could judge her for himself. For if he wished to have a stake in this possible war it was only far that he knew all the players in this game.

Sealing the second letter she handed it off to one of her private messengers and as he left she looked around at all her advisors. "You are all dismissed!", she exclaimed officially ending their second meeting of the day. Now the only thing left to do was to wait and see just what the King and Khal would do. Amelia was desperately hoping that for the sake of her people she could persuade both men that war was not the answer to whatever problem they felt had surfaced. If anything she at least hoped that if she couldn't persuade the King she could at least sway the Khal to her side.

The red woman walked the city streets of the kingdom's capital. She had arrived in the kingdom close to a month ago and had reached St.Helena a week ago. Her reasoning behind her visit to the kingdom was clear to her and a secret to those around her. She had to meet and speak with the Queen. For the past three years when she looked into the fire she saw visions that at first left her profoundly confused. The first vision she got those years back was hazy and left her profoundly confused. Every vision that she got after the first had been relatively the same which meant R'hllor was trying to show her something of great importance.

In her visions she would see flashes of silver hair, a sea of what she at first took as a water but cleared to show bodies scattered across a field, a dark and heavy smoke would over takes the field until she could see nothing. Then just as she thinks the vision is coming to an end a screeching cry is heard then suddenly a great fire appears bright and strong enough to be seen through the black fog. Three winged beast are seen and with them is a silver haired figure hold a flamed sword. For years her visions never made since until rumors of a Silver Queen birthing dragons into the world reached the Red Temple. That is when she understood just what it was that the Lord of Light had been showing her.

When she told the High Priest of what she thought of her visions they both saw it as the prophecy of Azor Ahai coming to light. Giving Melisandre his blessing he provided her with coin and food and had her on placed on a ship heading to the South Atlantic Kingdom that night. It had taken so long but now that she has reached the capital she will let nothing stop the will of R'hllor. As she approached the gates of the castle she was not surprised and raised her hand up to show that she was of no threat. "I am Melisandre Tyrell the Red Priestess of the Mediterranean Kingdom and I must speak with Queen Amelia Stormborn. I believe I have information that could prove useful to the pending war that is approaching."

Her advisors bowed to her respectfully before one by one filing out of the Great Hall. This left only Amelia and the seven knights of the Queensguard left in the grand room. Sitting back in her throne in the dead silent of the Amelia contemplated her day's decisions in her head. She hadn't had to deal with something like this since first becoming the Queen of the South Atlantic. She recalled the marathon of council meetings that were held, the countless nights without sleep and her kingdom crumbling around her. She had managed to protect her kingdom once and she would do it again at any and all cost.

As the large doors that provided entree into the Great Hall swung open a guard ran forward coming to a halt in front of the Queensgaurd. Bowing in respect he avoid eye contact with his queen looking at the Lord Commander as he spoke, "A woman ... a red woman ... a red priestess-" the Lord Commander getting agiated yelled "The woman what?!" The guard shuddered at the sound of the man's booming voice and looked up to his Queen with a unsure look. Smiling a kind and reassuring smile she nodded her head slightly giving the man a signal to continue relaying his message.

With a quick nod back in her direction he cleared his throat and continued, "She wishes to met with you Your Grace. She has information that she fills will be beneficial to you in means of the coming war." The talk of war hadn't left the council and news of one coming was new news to anyone that wasn't of the high council. The fact that this red woman spoke of it and had information regarding it peaked the silver queen's interest. Looking over at the Commander she gave a light shrug of her shoulders "Shall we hear what she has to say?" The Commander just shook his head knowing that know matter what he thought the woman would be let in. With a sigh he turned to their messenger "Bring her!"

As the young guard re-approached the gate the head guard of the gate walked over to him and the two man spoke in a hushed whisper that was inaudible to Melisandre's ears. She couldn't make out their words so she just stood silently. Her light blue orbs surveyed her surroundings as she took in the beautiful architecture and landscaping of the castle. While she tried her best to disregard the guards she couldn't help the uneasy feeling she got with all their hard eyes and cold looks deadlocked on her.

It didn't help that she could tell by their giving body language that at a moments noticed they were each ready to gut her like a fish without a second thought. Putting her inner feeling of apprehensiveness on the back burner of her mind as she knew her reasoning for being there today. Queen Amelia needed her and the Lord of Light wanted her to be there to help the silver queen fulfill her destiny. She would not let down the great R'hllor, if this was his will then she would see it done.

"Open the gate!" the head guard gave the command that told Melisandre that the Queen had agreed to see her. Giving the pending war that was closing in on the South Atlantic Kingdom the queen was in no position to turn away those that could help aide her and her kingdom. This much was clear to Melisandre and obviously to the queen as well. Walking the few steps that lead to the head guard that had only been a few feet away from her she stopped in front of him as he turned from the young guard he had been conversing with and looked at her.

"Today is your lucky day mi'lady. The Queen has agreed to heed your counsel." he addressed her as several men approached. "Take her inside!" he ordered with her eyes still on the redheaded woman, with a nod the younger guard began leading the way and the other guards took position behind her as they waited for her to follow him so they could follow her. As the head guard walked passed her to continue on with the duties Melisandre followed her escort into the castle and to the Great Hall were the silver queen awaited her.

As the great doors creaked open and she was led in the first thing she noticed were the seven knights that made up the Queensguard. Like the guards at the gate the knights were willing and ready to strike her down if the Queen gave the order. Everyone outside and within the castle appeared to be on a high level of alert which she greatly understood. For if her perception of what was to come was right and true which it always was they had every reason to be on edge.

Bowing to the Queen of the South Atlantic Kingdom flashes of her vision the vision that her god had been repeatedly showing her in recent months sparked through her mind as if a reminder of why she was there. As she slowly rose she stood with poise as her blue orbs connected with the queen's royal green ones. "Your Grace, you have been told who I am but not why I have come. So please let me explain." she began wanting to get straight to the point as she knew the queen or better yet the guards wanted her to. "I am a red priest from the highest red temple of the Mediterranean Kingdom. I worship the Lord of Light and he has because of this gifted me with the gift of sight." The sound of the men sucking their teeth and scoffing could be early heard at the mention of her visionary gift but this did not discourage her and she continued on.

"I have seen many things in the past and all have come true. Over these past months I have seen a vision ... the same vision ... many times over. I believe -" Melisandre came to an abrupt stop as she wasn't entirely sure how to form the words to explain to the silver queen what it is exactly that she saw. The room went deadly silent as she felt everyone's eyes on her as they waited for her to continue. After a moment of thought an idea came to her and her eyes yet again locked on the green eyes of the young queen, "While I could tell you of what I see I would rather have you look and see for yourself." The red priest was not sure if her words could convince the queen but having the young woman see for herself what it is that was to come would do more than words every could. She stood and awaited the queen's response praying to her god that were her words had failed her sight would not.

Eira Gunvald

Several hours had passed in the spymaster’s tower; Meredith had been reluctant at first but with a few glasses of wine Eira had managed to get her to open up. It was important to know those in one’s employ after all. Now Meredith was sitting with her knees up in one of the leather chairs her tangle of hair covering much of face as she quietly slept. Eira had watched her for short while, weighing her uses in her mind before it began to wander away from the room and into the folds of the coming war.

There was little she could do personally to prevent the war; there had long been animosity between the two nations and the people of both nations had wanted blood for decades. It didn’t matter what Amelia managed to do to stave off the war it was only a matter of time before someone did something to ignite the fire.

Her mind wandering back to Amelia, Eira thought more on the woman she served. It had been unforeseen circumstances that had led to her service, a few pieces of work from her usual avenues that eventually led to her meeting the queen face to face. At first she was no more than another sheep to feed upon but the more that Eira got to know her the more intrigued she became and when Amelia discovered her nature she hadn’t shunned the vampire as Eira had expected instead she granted her access to as much blood as she required, even going so far as to quell any of the mentioning of a vampire in the city as normal murders with no suspicious nature at all.

Smiling slightly to herself Eira stood from her chair and refastened the buckles on her armour. It was probably about time she re-joined the formalities downstairs. Perhaps she would gain the chance to speak with Amelia again before the end of the day.

As she descended back down the tower Eira raised her hood, it could not shield her from the sun entirely of course but so long as she did not face directly towards it the hood was an effective means of keeping her skin from being exposed during the day. Continuing into the great hall Eira stayed back and out of view as Melisandre proceeded towards the throne keeping towards the shadows.

"I am a red priest from the highest red temple of the Mediterranean Kingdom. I worship the Lord of Light and he has because of this gifted me with the gift of sight." Eira shuddered at the woman’s words, priests always made her feel uncomfortable.

The Imperial Legate and The Oracle had since been dismissed from The Great Khal's quarters. Their conversation had gone long into the night and morning came with welcomed relief. The night before, while pleasant, had promised of blood to come. Talia sat in the great hall of her king and lord sipping chamomile tea as she fretted over her visions from last night. Her visions, as always were difficult to discern. Rarely did she see something that made complete sense immediately. Last night was no different. She saw fire, a great fire that rose above a sparkling city of ivory. She heard screams of a mother and moon colored hair stained with blood. She remembered the feeling of overwhelming sorrow and regret, even shame as if she was responsible in some way. The last thing she saw was the still body of a dragon, laying amidts a pool of it's own blood. Then the vision shifted and the ivory city no longer burned but instead shined in the glorious morning sun. Rose petals rained down to the city streets as a beautiful woman with the same moon colored hair walked the streets proudly. The people sang her praises and called to her in love and adoration. Overhead dragons soared nobly, roaring out in triumph. The woman's eyes slowly rose and fell on a man who was obscured from sight yet in that look, in the eyes of the woman Delphi saw gratitude, respect, and even love.

She woke confused and disturbed for never before had she had dual visions before. As she contemplated what these visions meant a shadow loomed over her. Massive in scope and instinctively the hair on the back of her neck stood up as if she was being eyed by some hungry predator. She turned with a start to see The Khal standing behind her.

"Delphi..."

He said in greeting, his deep voice rolling fourth like the growl of a giant. She breathed a sigh of relief and put her hand to her chest as if to still her beating heart.

"Great Khal, good morrow. You startled me. You know it truly is fascinating how a man your size can be so stealthy."

Jinn said not a word, just smiled knowingly and sat beside her. He causally began plucking berries from the bowl in front of her and enjoyed them slowly before glancing at her. His intelligent dark gaze locked on instantly to her mood.

"What's wrong?"

Delphi shook her head hoping to downplay his concern.

"Oh, nothing my lord. Just a vision."

"Of?"

"That I am not certain of yet."|

She admitted as she accepted a few berries that Jinn offered her.

"What did you see?"

Khal Jinn asked, never taking his eyes off her as she ate. Delphi paused and took a breath, allowing her mind to drift back to her minds eyes.

"I saw fire... fire and blood. Yet there was light also, peace and love. A strange dichotomy the likes of which I have never before seen in one of my visions."

Jinn tensed his jaw as his own ingenious mind considered the meaning of his oracles dual visions. He turned away from her and looked ahead of him for a moment with little more than a grunt of acknowledgment. Delphi knew her lord was never a man to sling words uselessly so did not take his silence for anything more than his own usual personality.

The oracle and the king sat together and enjoyed their breakfast, casually talking about the nights events, what the two of them and the Legate had discussed earlier and the union with Drake. It was obvious Delphi was not convinced that Drake was the bed they should lie in but was ready to do her duty without question. Though he was not there they both knew Gaius wanted the allegiance with Drake for the glorious battle that would come of it. Jinn himself seemed resolved to march off with Moloch but with less of a desire to fight beside a friend and more of a desire burn down the city of his enemies. The tale told to Jinn of The South Atlantic's kingdoms method of using the corrupt rich of Drake to fuel their war machine had stroked the fire in Jinn's heart. Few things in this world or the next have proved strong enough to temper that flame.

"Great Khal."

Came a Dothraki voice from behind the pair. The thick accent flowed freely from the young man's mouth as he knelt behind his Khal. Jinn turned around and eyed the young Dothraki quizzically.

"What is it young one?"

He asked. The Dothraki never raised his head, for to lock eyes with their Khal was to challenge the Khal in the Dothraki custom.

"Word, Great Khal, from The Queen Stormborn."

Delphi cast a concerned glance at Jinn as she knew the name and what it meant.

"The ruler of the South Atlantic Kingdom my king. She could not know of our allegiance with Drake yet could she?"

She asked, the worry evident in her voice. Jinn did not respond immediately, instead he smiled slowly. A shallow smile full of subtly and amusement.

"Words travel faster than an arrow in flight if your hearing is good enough."

Jinn said in reply to Delphi's worries. Jinn got to his feet and stood before his kneeling guard.

"Have my ship readied, The Oracle and I shall take to the sea. As for the courier... he comes with me..."

Amelia Stormborn

As the young guard left to retrieve the woman Amelia looked at her Lord Commander as he turned to face her as the grand doors closed "Say what is on your mind.", she said knowing that the man all to well. "War has not yet been declared and yet this woman has information that shall be beneficial to you. Tell me that you do not find that to be the less bit suspicious." Amelia gave a light shrug of her shoulders "Am I skeptical of this woman and what meaning her untold words will hold. Yes, I am. However, neither I or this kingdom is in any position to turn away anyone who offers us help in our time of need."

As the creaking sound of the grand doors re-opening sounded the head of her Queensguard sighed as he turned and got into formation with the others. The first thought that crossed her mind when she saw the woman being escorted in by the guards was the color red. This woman was red. From the color of her hair to the dress she wore and the jewelry that adorned her body it was all red. The title of "red woman" that the young guard had used when mentioning her was dead on.

Amelia watched with curiosity as the woman bowed to her in respect before they locked eyes with one another. The woman's eyes was of the lightest shade of blue which along with her pale complexion was a great contrast to the rich reds that covered the older woman's body. "Your Grace, you have been told who I am but not why I have come. So please let me explain." Amelia gave a slight nod of the head allowing the woman to continue on without interruption.

"I am a red priest from the highest red temple of the Mediterranean Kingdom. I worship the Lord of Light and he has because of this gifted me with the gift of sight." The men all made sounds that either mocked or displayed their disbelief in the woman's words. With nothing more than a warning glare to all the men quickly silenced themselves noticing their Queen's disapproval. In a word full of mages, priests, dragons and only god knows what else to her of a woman with the power of sight was not unimaginable to the Mother of Dragons. If she could walk into flames and be completely unscathed why couldn't this red woman have the power of sight.

"I have seen many things in the past and all have come true. Over these past months I have seen a vision ... the same vision ... many times over. I believe -" Her words suddenly stopped as she was unable to form the words that she need to explain her prophecy to the awaiting queen. Amelia as well as all others in the room remained quiet and observant as the red priest to the time she need to process whatever it was that was going on in her mind.

"While I could tell you of what I see I would rather have you look and see for yourself." The men of the Queensguard immediately drew their swords being done with the woman's words. There was no way they were letting the witch any closer to their queen. While the guards were all busy readying themselves Amelia had remained silent before rising from her throne "Let me pass." The Lord Commander glanced back her as if to make sure he had heard her correctly but their eyes never connected as the queen's gaze was fixed in front of her own the red priest. Reluctantly he lowered his weapon and stepped aside and Amelia without hesitation walked forward until her and the priest as only inches apart "Show me."
