Setting
Moloch took the bean with a bow of his head in thanks. Normally, he would take the time to examine the bean in an attempt to figure out just how it was changed from its ordinary state, but he did not have the time now. Instead, he had to prepare. As he stepped outside, he turned to the drakon at his door.
"Gather the rest of the guard. I would speak to them before I go. I trust that you have heard the whole conversation, Cassus?" he asked.
"I have, Your Grace. We are ready to do our duty."
"Good. Drake asks no less," Moloch told him before he made his way down the hall. Kallias could wait for a bit. For now, he wanted to selfish just this once. The guards sworn to the Royal Family of Cinnabar allowed him to past. After all, he had become a recent visitor of their princess as of late. He was not surprised to find her here with her brother. He smiled softly at her. She was radiant as always.
"Princess Aada, King Arim," he greeted them with a bow. He gazed upon her, his expression soon morphing from a soft smile to something hard and grim.
"I wish I could spend more time with you, but my kingdom is in danger. I must go to war by the end of this day, but I wanted to see you before I left. With your permission, King Arim," he stated. There was no point in dangling hints of what was to come in front of them before he told them. There wasn't time.
