Anabeth is a woman with two faces. One is the face of the noble woman one that acts with grace, wit and charm. The other is the face of the pirate a woman scarred by the world who is cold and unforgiving. Sometimes she wears one sometimes she wears both.
Anabeth is very guarded when first meeting someone and can seem cold and unsociable (even more so should her pirate face be on). As one grows closer she will open up more even showing her softer side to those she has come to call friend or lover.
If one hurts Anabeth or someone close to her she will be slow to forgive if she even forgives at all...Many times those that wrong the pirate queen are found dead in an ally or lost to the sea.

Group Affiliation
The Sparrow's Gambit- A tavern and casino on the docks. Underneath it lies the meeting place and den of The Black Rose Accord a group of pirates that sail under Anabeth.
The name is a reference to a old seaman's tale of a pirate Lord know as The Sparrow who sold his soul to the devils to become the greatest pirate ever known.

Bio/History

Anabeth was born in Korrigan in to a family of middle class merchants. They weren't rich but they got by and Anabeth was always happy. As she grew she played with and learned with other children including William Rose the son of a local noble. Anabeth and William became fast friends desipte their different classes.
As the years past Anabeth and grew closer and soon friendship turned to love. All was great for the two and they soon married.
A few years passed until both of their parents died at sea. It was that very night that William let Anabeth in on his family's secret...They where pirates.
Anabeth took the news surprisingly well and so began the adventures of the Black Rose.

The pirate couple took to the seas robbing, killing and making a name for themselves. Soon more pirates came to them and the Sparrow's Gambit was born. All seemed perfect for the pirate lovers..But all good things must end..
One fateful day the Black Rose fell prey to a Jerum trap. Anabeth and William where taken in chains beaten and thrown in prison. It wasn't long until the Jerum witch hunters detected William's magic.. The forced Anabeth to watch as they burned William alive whipping her Everytime she looked away. She was to hang the next day but members of her crew broke her out all she said when she saw them was " You came a day too late.."

Anabeth returned to Korrigan broken and spent many weeks locked away in her manor. When word came to her of Jerum's warring she declared her own war on her hated foe returning to the seas in her new ship The Black Rose's Revenge. Her business began to grow over the next few years as did her power.

But now new faces line the streets and her old foe seems to only get stronger only time will tell whether the Black Rose grows or if it withers and dies.
