"Hmm, what would be interesting. In all honesty, I can't think of anything at the moment." she replied.
It was true, she couldn't think of anything and that was rare. She glanced about the room and found a few of her sisters. She really needed to get back into the game soon.
((Stupid writers block and headache.))

Leena was a bit surprised when he asked her to dance and she simply allowed it. She tried to keep herself relaxed, but being in close proximity like this was a bit uncomfortable. She wondered how much longer it would be until midnight. A part of her wanted the night to end, but another part hoped it would continue like this.

"So now what?"
Israel answered. "I personally think we should go somewhere else so unwanted ears are not caught." Lejla watched Israel look about. ""Hmm, how about somewhere where it is less crowded and we can still watch over the people, to make sure they don't get hurt?"
"I agree with Israel. Blessing or no, I still don't think it is wise to discuss such delicate matters here. Do you really think our enemies aren't aware of us?" Lejla asked. "I'm sure they're listening to us right now. And although it would be....ideal to protect the people, that's not really why we're here." she said. "But I'm always game for a vantage point."
The thoughts vanished within a few seconds of mental arguement as he spoke once again. The weather was cold for him, therefore he could not belong to neither of the other two colder Kingdoms. Then again, despite her birthplace and the fact that she had lived all her life in the weather of Noondrim, she did always enjoy the rare cold breezes that swept the town on rainy days.
Papillion had no time to add a little bit of her thoughts before another question arose the air. "Papillion The girl said quietly. So far into the night, she had not shared it with any other person, for her, it was something that held much power if used correctly on a person. Raising her voice, just enough to be audiable, she repeated, "Papillion... Blookryn, of Noondrim."
"Papillion.." He said slowly, letting the name roll across his tongue. It was an unusual name, but not in a bad way. It had a musical ring to it. "What a beautiful name, Papillion. And a Noondrim citizen too! How wonderful, It's an honor to make your acquaintance, my dear."
He let his cheery voice fall silent, realizing that he couldn't very well give out his name. Would she, a citizen of Noondrim, recognize him? He felt guilty that he could not as easily give out his name as she, it was quite possible she was thinking that he didn't trust her. But what of his middle name? Surely that at least had been kept to the family alone, there had to be some line of privacy. Yes, he would go with that. "Cayo." He finally said, his tone not giving any hint of his apprehension, "My name is Cayo Bessad, and as you have probably guessed I am also of Noondrim."
The Bessads were a small, unsocial couple that lived in the noble section of Noondrim. He knew them well- they used their social standing to weasel themselves into official meetings whenever they could, and they had tried to convince him to marry their niece more than once- and he hoped they had no objections to his using of their name. Well, even if they did there was nothing they could say now. He only hoped that Papillion did not know them, nor the fact that they had no relative named 'Cayo'.

It was very hard to keep track of time for Leena, especially when she was at ease.
"Um, sorry if I haven't spoken much. Normally I am pretty quiet." she said.
That was true, although she probably spoke more tonight though than she did in the past week. As they continued to dance though, a long gong was heard and a voice.
"The midnight hour is almost here ladies and gents! Please make way back into the ballroom for the unveiling!" someone announced.
Leena sighed. She felt sad for some reason and couldn't hide it from her face.
~~~~~~~~~~
Amaris wanted to growl at the announcement. Darn, it looked like they weren't going to have time to talk to the kings. Oh well, things could be worse. Suddenly she felt a very dark presence in her mind and knew it was her father.
~Amaris, it's almost time. Are you ready?~ he telepathically asked her.
~Yes sir. However we have a problem. There are 5 people here with magic abilities and one here has a special connection to the King of Mornia.~ she informed him.
~I'll take care of it.~
And with that he left her alone.
Amaris turned to the man and said, "It looks like this charade is about over. I have enjoyed myself sir. You have a wonderful night."
With that she left him to do what she has to do. The first thing she had to do was make herself 'blend' with the crowd more. For one thing, she became invisible and had the power to make anyone else invisible if need be, although she did have her limits. At the moment she was doing her best to make sure she and her sisters had an escape route. Most of them had the power of darkness, so that would come in handy. Still it would be best to be prepared for anything. Once she was done, she appeared back in the ballroom, near the shadows. She would be the one to give her sisters the signal.
~It's almost time. Get into your positions. Father is handling the interruptions.~ she telepathically told her sisters.
In the meantime, Dolman had been in disguise himself by melting into the shadows. He had already seen who needed to be dealt with and would take care of them. He could try to destroy them if he wanted to, but he knew the 4 strangers were a match for him and that 5th one, he sensed much untapped power. He would try to eliminate them all the same though. That last thing he needed was something to go wrong.
((Okay here's what is going to happen. When it's midnight, the Kings will be asked to unveil themselves first. Than the sorceresses will unveil themselves. At the same time, Dolman will make his move and draw the guides and Ryu into an alternate dimension of his creation. Yes, he's very powerful. However, doing that will drain him a bit and those 5 will give him a run for his money lol. The curse will be unleashed in time for the others to make their escape from that alternate dimension. So is everyone clear?))
He grabed something to eat while waiting for the kings to reveal themselves, Ryu already knowing who the king of mornia was, he searched the room for the people he was suposed to protect, seeing Leena with the person from before. Ryu prepaired himself for the worst, because he knew what will happen next will be very hard to deal with.
He looked at her, "No not at all, I think it would be good if we hurried soon to." He made a motion for them to hurry to the opera boxes, "Hurry now, we woudn't want to miss anything that is out of place would we?" He started walking toward the boxes hoping they where following, cause he didn't want to look suspisious by looking back.
Misu crossed her arms and slouched against the wall, she knew it was almost time. She looked at all of her sisters, and could tell that they knew just it just as well as she did. She thought to herself, "I can't wait to get this stupid thing off my tender face!"
Glancing up from her feet, Adara met the man's eyes and curiousity alighted gently in hers. Pursing her lips and looking upward in thought, she said, "Yes, I suppose you would think that." Staring back at the tree that stood tall in front of them, she caressed the flower that had opened at her touch earlier and the petals folded inward, until it was wrapped into itself once again. "Perhaps it is your quiet nature that is so near to mine, but I do not usually speak this freely to others. It's most likely your tranquility that is enveloping me, and in turn keeping me as peaceful as you seem." The corner of her lips tipped upward almost unnoticably into a wry smile. "I tend to hide my feelings from others, as some of the things that I think would anger them. . . I suppose I deserve the scorn that I receive, however: if you ask for honesty, then it shall be given - " She paused and bit her lip lightly, running a hand through her tousled, auburn hair. " - Rather, as much of the truth as is polite. . ."
Far away, from inside the large house behind them, a loud gong sounded in the air and a voice could just be made out. "The midnight hour is almost here ladies and gents! Please make way back into the ballroom for the unveiling!"
Turning toward the ballroom, Adara quietly slid on her black heels and began to walk in its direction. Pausing her long stride, she looked back over her shoulder at the man that stood behind her. In the moon light, her amber eyes gave off a sharp glint and the dress she wore shined a pearly white, her long hair gleaming darkly as if a shadow, creating a hauntingly beautiful image. "Would you accompany me, sir? I have yet to know your name or face."
After a few moments of dancing, Reyne noticed her sisters stir. Her father came from his shadow in the corner and began to move toward the distractions. Excusing herself from the man she was with, she moved to the edge of the room. Reyne loosened her mask slightly, readying to remove it, and quietly felt the auras of the others around her: excitement, love, surprise. Tuning out the insignificant feelings of the humans, she felt her sisters' - they all had a dark, maroon sphere encirling them. They were ready - and now. . .
It was time.
I suppose I deserve the scorn that I receive, however: if you ask for honesty, then it shall be given - Rather, as much of the truth as is polite. . ." Fahad listened intently. So she was a mirror of the tranquility around her, Fahad thought that was interesting, and her honesty was a blunt as his was when he deigned to speak, as blunt as protocol would allow him. His father had made him learn to at least be polite when he talked to foriegn dignitaries, a thing that took a while to learn as the political pleasantries commonly escaped him. She intriqued him, he decided, so blunt and honest when everyone was lying through their teeth to please him.
A bell sounded and a voice rang out that warned of the impending midnight and unvieling. The girl began to move toward the ballroom, putting on her shoes as she went. He stood in the shadows, hesitating to return to the crowed hot mass that was the people inside, but duty urged him to return. He stepped into the moonlight, his steely colored hair turning almost silvery in the light. He stepped beside the girl and offered his arm. "I will accompany you." He said, "and you will know both my name and face at the unvieling." He said, knowing that her attitude would change the second she knew his title. "May I know yours however?"
Amaris saw people coming in and still couldn't spot all the kings yet. Taking their time weren't they? It was critical that they be there at midnight. It was important because midnight was the witching hour, when her and her sisters' powers were at their greatest. He head snapped up though when she spotted the King of Nitel with the same girl he been with the majority of the night.
Leena wondered where Takumi was. He was probably reluctant to come back and have to reveal himself. She knew that he would rather meet potential suitors in these circumstances when they didn't know who he was. She knew his advisors were pressuring him to get married and produce an heir. It wasn't right in Leena's opinion. She was glad she didn't have to worry about that kind of thing. She turned to her companion.
"You know, I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I do hope we get to meet again after this night. I don't even know your name yet. Isn't that odd?" she asked him.
Despite the fact that she was an amazing actress, but lies usually past by her. For some reason, it specially came to a situation when a person meant no harm over the lie. He repeated his name and seemed to hold back on his, but soon spoke. Papillion nodded in small recognition, a quick sign that indicated that she had indeed heard and her mind was not lost to thoughts so quickly. Her parents always told her it seemed childish, but there still came times when she couldn't help but block out the world around her.
From inside, she heard the call that quickly started herding the pairs back inside into the overcrowded ballroom. She stood herself after a few seconds and took in her last breaths of the lovely cherry blossom scented air. "We should start heading back inside, Sir Bessad," The girl said, putting on a small smile. "I believe this might just be the most interesting time of the night."
