Welcome to Carter Falls! A small town in Maine, in fact the biggest thing to happen to the town in like 15 years was the opening of a Macy's. It's full to the brim with Werewolves, and other nasty beasties. The main power in this town was the Werewolves. In particular the Cunningham pack, a powerful family of Werewolves not unlike the Hales. But unlike the Hales, they ruled Carter Falls like some sort of mob family. They were feared, and respected.

That was until roughly 10 years ago, when Duncan Cunningham took over his place as the family's Alpha. Duncan brought the pack to a much straighter path. He made sure they had much less control over the town, and pretty much restructured the entire family to be a more respectable, and honorable pack. This did not go over so well with some of the other pack members.

Things came to ahead a few months ago. A rather ambitious Beta named Martian thought the old ways were better, that they deserved to be at the top of the food chain, and that's they're rightful place. Martian was a smart, and manipulative man. He was able to worm his way into some of the packs minds, and believe he was right. This caused the pack to fracture, and an almost civil war to be fought between the two.

But Duncan's group had both the superior numbers, and power. Martian couldn't take Duncan's Alpha status with just a few Betas. No he needed outside help. He recruited Omegas with the promise of a place in his new pack, assassins privie on the supernatural, and rough hunters he paid off, and hell he had a couple of Wendigos as well that wanted to use Carter Falls as a hunting ground. They attacked Duncan, overwhelming them with sheer numbers. But still, Duncan's group proved to be a match, they were able to hold their own for a while.

It was a massacre on both sides. Duncan ended up taking a wolfsbane laced bullet to his gut. Duncan was dragged out of the battle by his second in command, his little brother Cole. Duncan was dying, nothing could be done about it. The poison was already coursing through his veins. He pleaded with Cole to take his rightful place as the new Alpha. Honoring his last wishes, Cole killed Duncan out of mercy, becoming the new Alpha of the pack.

Cole flew into a feral rage, transforming into a large nightmarish monster of a wolf. He killed nearly all he saw. When the dust settled, only a few loyal to Duncan survived, and none of Martian's followers survived. Martian had disappeared into the nearby forest, he left the battle when things didn't go his way. That was a month ago, and now Cole has taken his place as the Alpha of the Cunningham pack, but he still feels the threat of Martian looming over him, and his pack. But they will soon learn that Martian isn't the only, or biggest threat to them and Carter Falls.

Werewolves, they usually appear in human form and can shift to varying degrees into a bipedal wolf-like creature with increased body hair, fangs and glowing eyes. While most remain in a 'nearly human' form, some powerful individuals can shift into a wider range of forms, such as full on wolves, and even a monstrous giant wolf-form. But this is more commonly associated with someone of power, more likely a experienced Alpha.
Werewolves have many abilities that humans don't possess, even when in their human forms:
◾ Heightened Senses: Werewolves can smell, see and hear far better than humans.
◾ Accelerated Healing: Werewolves heal quickly from most injuries.
◾ Enhanced Agility: Werewolves can jump, run, climb and react faster than humans.
◾ Enhanced Strength: Werewolves are much stronger than humans.
◾ Pain Transference: Werewolves can absorb and alleviate pain from other people/creatures and can "heal" in some cases.
There are certain unique abilities that aren't inherit to every werewolf, and need to be learned:
◾ Memory Transference: Werewolves can transfer (give or take) memories by inserting claws into nape of an individual's neck. This ability can establish mind-to-mind communication and, with practice, allow for memory manipulation or erasure. This is a very difficult, and dangerous ability to use. Only the most experienced are able to use it safely.
◾ Some werewolves have shown the ability to sense illness and, in one case, the onset of an epileptic seizure. This seems to be due to a combination of their "Heightened Senses" working in concert on a subconscious level.
◾ Some werewolves have so much mastery over their body that they can inhibit their scent. Making them undetectable to other werewolves.
There are several perks, and quirks to being a werewolf:
◾Becoming a werewolf can heal scars and cure chronic illnesses like asthma, epilepsy or even cancer.
◾Camera flashes and some video recording devices cause werewolves eyes to glow making them nearly impossible to photograph. They can apparently learn to control this effect.
◾In the dark, werewolf eyes seem to react to light like a regular canine with eye-shine.
◾Werewolves cannot become intoxicated by drinking alcohol. It is believed this is due to their enhanced healing ability.
While werewolves are incredibly tough, and resilient, they aren't invincible, and have several weaknesses.

MAJOR WEAKNESSES
Wolfsbane: The effects of Wolfsbane vary depending on the type, amount and delivery method. It can cause hallucinations, weaken, render unconscious or kill werewolves.
Mountain Ash: When used properly, Mountain Ash can form an impenetrable barrier to keep supernatural creatures, not just werewolves, in or out.
Lunar Eclipse: Werewolves are powerless during a total lunar eclipse

MINOR WEAKNESSES
◾ Inexperienced werewolves are at the mercy of the full moon. Under its sway, they lose control and their homicidal tendencies increase. This can be controlled through force of will but bitten werewolves have a more difficult time with keeping it under control.
◾ Hecatolite can block the effects of the moon and disrupt the natural cycle of transformation.
◾ Bites, scratches and other wounds inflicted by an Alpha will not heal as quickly as other injuries.
◾ Intense pain or steady application of low amperage electricity can keep werewolves weak and in human form.
There are three known types of werewolves:
Omega: An Omega is the “lone wolf”; existing without a pack and without an Alpha. They have all the werewolf abilities mentioned above but are considered weaker than other types because they are not part of a pack. Werewolves can become Omegas by choice or be forced out of a pack by the Alpha or by circumstance.
Beta: Betas are members of a pack and, because of this association, they are considered stronger than Omegas. They do not seem to have any special abilities beyond those mentioned above. Please note that a direct comparison in power levels between a Beta, and a Omega is difficult due to a number of factors such as experience, and age.
Alpha: An Alpha is the leader of a pack of werewolves. It is the strongest, most powerful and so far the most lethal variety of Werewolf. Alphas have unique special abilities:

An Alpha’s bite can transform a human into a werewolf. The bite usually only has two outcomes - transformation or death although there are exceptions.
It appears a scratch from an Alpha, if it goes deep enough, can also be transformative.
Alphas have limited telepathy and mental control over the betas that they create and some other shapeshifters.
Bites, scratches and other wounds inflicted by an Alpha will not heal as quickly as other injuries.
Alphas can heal the extremely ill with their pain transference ability but they give up part of the "spark" that makes them an Alpha. This can result in a loss of Alpha status.
Alphas can, by killing their own betas, become stronger.

Werewolves have two sets of eye color, their normal human eyes, and their glowing werewolf eyes. There are three different types of glow, some meaning different things. The first is the red glow of an Alpha. All Alphas have this. The second, and most common is yellow among Betas, and Omegas. And the third is blue. Blue has a special meaning, it shows that the wolf has taken the life of an innocent.
Werewolves are social creatures, and subconsciously seek others of their kind, they seek a pack. In packs werewolves are stronger, and faster. The larger the pack, the stronger the wolf. Pack membership is voluntary, but refusal to joining a pack does leave the wolf to a disadvantage not only because of the weakened power but also because of other factors such as hunters. There is strength in numbers. Packs are made up of one Alpha, and at the very least three Betas. The Alpha makes all the decisions in the pack that the entire pack follows.

Alright hello, hello, hello! I'm CutUp, and I am the LAW(Of this RP)! In case it wasn't obvious, this is a Teen Wolf inspired RP. Alright, so let's get these roles over with so we can get to our sexy, sexy monsters! First up, gotta go to the OOC for a reservation. PM WILL BE IGNORED! You will need three passwords that are hidden in these rules. Password #1: What is your character's color code?
Alright, let's talk about FCs. Put up a gif of your FC in the OOC along with your passwords. Needless to say they need to be live action, and no one that is, or has been on the show.
Speaking of the show, yes this RP takes place in the same universe, but no, none of the main characters shall be appearing. So no Stiles. And also let's not have characters related to those on the show. This RP takes place in Maine, that's on the other side of the U.S. Now how likely would it be that someone would be related to those in California? Not very. So don't do it. Password #2: What is your favorite monster? I.E. Werewolves, Vampires, etc.
Let's get those basics out of the way as well, so no meta playing, bunnying, etc. Pretty basic right?
I don't mind romance, in fact it's encouraged! But you know, no sex posts.

Now then, let's try to be active alright? I don't want this to die, hopefully you don't want this to die. So let's not let it die. I'm not going to ask you to post everyday or anything like that. Just try at least once every two weeks. That's EXTREMELY generous of me. I understand if life gets in the way, so give me a heads up k? I promise I won't bite ~~just in the sexy way you like~~.
Alright, in one of these I said that none of the main characters will be appearing. True, but I may be throwing in some twists with the side characters that have disappeared over the years. You'll just have to wait and see!

Alright, you have 72 hours, three days, to get at the very least a WIP in. And then another week to get that finished. So you have nine days all together to get your character done. That's not too bad right? If you talk to me, and give me a valid reason I will extend this for you if need be.
If this generates enough interest and ALL ROLES are filled I will consider allowing more roles to be made. But only, and I mean ONLY if all roles are filled. I don't care if there's one lonely male role open, and you prefer to play females. Not gonna happen until that role is taken. DO NOT PM ME ABOUT IT UNTIL THE LAST ROLE IS FILLED! Sorry, that just really grinds my gears.
