Y o u S h o u l d K n o w . . .

Don't judge me :: Jacinto is a man deeply soaked in misery and bitterness, his attitude being distant, disinterested and sour to most people, including a good amount of his comrades at the Black Order. He rarely enjoys uttering a word, has a tendency to stare at things for prolonged amounts of time, gives often short and curt sentences in monotone voice, and finds it awkward to make conversation outside of his love for fishing and the possibility of eliminating some akuma, though would put some more effort in attempting to do so with a friend.

He feverishly despises of akuma of any kind, not hesitating for a second in eliminating one merciless, and has tendency to attack the brutally if in sight until their demise and is often relentless in attempts to do so in battle. At the mention of the dreaded creatures, or those assisting them, he clams up in rage, only visions of hatred swimming in his head about them, and would normally pursue one on sight until it was terminated. Despite his sheer hatred for akuma however he is not blinded by his rage and is a somewhat seasoned and experienced combatant, though would rarely ever consider retreating. He is also extremely defensive over his innocence weapon, often stubbornly refusing to let even scientists of the order to place their hands upon it, and to allow as such is usually a sign of great respect and trust by him.

A few things change his sour demeanor however into a much more friendly, social and cheerful personality, such as his fondness for pastas, especially spaghetti, and is often his meal of choice at a restaurant, a great passion for fishing which spends a great deal of his spare time doing, and children. He greatly enjoys being in the presence of children, often fussing over them and attempting his best to keep them entertained and happy as if they were his own child, having great amounts of tolerance and patience with them also. Due to this, he despises anyone who would consider harming a child willingly and is very watchful of people around them, carefully observing for anything of danger to children that are present.

No one knows this. But :: Jacinto Inigo Riverti was born and raised in Italy, in a small seaside town with a bustling fishing business, and was raised by his sailor father who worked aboard a cargo ship and his housewife mother, living as an only child in a fairly poor but quite happy family of three. He grew up in a relatively uneventful and ordinary environment, occasionally going along with his father in work for the chance of fishing at seas and happily scoffing down his mother's homemade pasta until he wa sold enough to get a job on the same ship as his father.

Jacinto worked tirelessly for a number of years alongside his father, assisting around with general deckhand duties aboard the ship as well as shifting cargo, fishing in his spare time and continued to do so until he eventually met the love of his life at the local tavern of his hometown, a sweet and kind girl by the name of Bella. Although he became infatuated with her, rarely ever thinking of anyone but her when he returned to home, and that was only because of his parents, often thinking desperately on ways to impress her during his visits to the tavern. Over time the pair of the became great friends, the fellow staff also knowing him by name, and eventually Jacinto and Bella became a couple, much to their ecstatic joy as well as his parents and the tavern staff finally relieved they finally got it over with. A few years after a steady relationship despite Jacinto working long distances on occasion, it turned into a marriage, time passing with uneventful but happy lives which were made happier with the birth of their daughter; Fabiana.

From then on, Jacinto's life very much revolved around her, playing games with her, with toys he saved up to buy or crudely made himself with her, listening to her confused stories, comforting her when necessary, giving her chores, and generally trying his utmost to keep her smiling and raised as to be a wonderful girl, his wife Bella feeling very much the same way as him. She truly was all his world, which made what caused him to become an exorcist that much more painful for him, especially after his last before birthday before the event she gave him her skipping rope, telling him she wanted to give her daddy something that was special and precious.

One day, Jacinto found a strange glowing shard of sorts on one of his sailing journeys, which seemed to shine brighter whenever he held it in his hands. The sailor now in his thirties decided to keep it, unknown to him this piece of Innocence would be his own as an exorcist. When he returned home, he at first planned to lock it up for safekeeping and possibly to avoid trouble, after all glowing mysterious objects from the sea aren't exactly a comforting omen, but Fabiana seemed absolutely fascinated by the thing, and against his better judgement, gave it to his daughter as a gift. A week passed, and he and the rest of the crew aboard the cargo ship had decided to relinquish the idea of sailing that day, with a heavy storm very visibly brewing over the horizon. Jacinto decided to spend the day with his family, strolling towards him home until he saw a sudden explosion at his house right before him as he finally arrived. As ran towards the smoking remains of the front of his house, he saw the mangled corpse of his wife, along with her daughter crying in sheer terror and overwhelmed misery before an ugly lump of a monster with cannons mounted on it's body. The first Level 1 akuma Jacinto had ever saw. Of Course the initial shock of this left him paralyzed in fear and bewilderment, as it would do to any ordinary person in a sane frame of mind, until he realized the akuma was pointing it's cannons at his daughter who he rushed to save in a desperate attempt, only to see her gunned down before him. Then what transpired was hazy on Jacinto's memory from what he remembers he tried to charge the akuma barehanded in blind fury, but was knocked aside by an exorcist, who quickly dealt with the level 1 akuma. He was too blinded in misery and fury at the time, to the extent he barely remembers how he managed to grab his hand son the innocence the akuma was after, it reacting positively to his presence much to the confusion of the exorcist who was there as well as the finder who followed shortly in as it occurred.

From then on, he was trained as an exorcist, deciding to place his innocence into the skipping rope that belonged to his daughter, and vowing to eliminate all akuma that came into his path, as well as those who assisted them, becoming bitterly absorbed into his work to do just that. He was recently given the task among a number of exorcists to locate and recruit a child with rare Innocence Blood, a mission he speedily accepted, deciding to bring a finder called Martin along with him in hopes of it quickening the process.

My best chance in a fight is :: Innocence equipment-type: Armargo Pesadilla (AKA Bitter Nightmare): Jacinto's innocence of choice is of an equipment type, the item in question used to combine with the innocence was the skipping rope that belonged to his daughter. when activated, it transforms into a ridiculously large pair of crimson nunchaku the rods a size of two full sewage pipes with a equally large chain between the two rods. It has very little special abilities, a innocence weapon geared towards more sheer physical power than anything else, though weighs little more than an ordinary pair of nunchaku in Jacinto's hands, though the destructive force behind this weapon could easily level an ordinary brick house, and possibly even dent metal.
It also grants its user somewhat more stamina and strength than the typical human, though by no means enough to be at superhuman levels.

If he concentrates fully on simply spinning his innocence weapon however, he creates an enormous whirlwind, sucking in a devastating amount of its surroundings, and is very much like an ordinary tornado, though this ability is only able to be used once a week, otherwise leaving Jacinto immobile if used more than once in that week, until he has recovered. Also because of it's chaotic nature, it could very easily harm friend as well as foe, not to mention obliterate surrounding innocent bystanders, and therefore, rarely used if Jacinto is in a settlement or with company.

Raine blinked, looking ack at Tsubaki. β€œOh, I know! I wasn't planing on being an idiot and charging in after him. I barely know how to fight Akuma at the moment... but a person like that... just simply doesnt deserve to live.” She said, perhaps a bit more coldly than she actually meant, but those were her feelings. On the subject. This 'Earl' person sounded like a real, cold-hearted jerk. IT would make Raine happy knowing such a horrible person had made his demise. If he was gone, the Akuma would disappear.. or at least, stop growing, and could meet their ultimate end. β€œI understand, Tsubaki and thanks for worrying about me.” She said, giving an innocent smile.

The Cocoa she was preparing finished, she handed a cup to everyone. β€œI do want to learn more about my innocence, but I understand if you don't want to teach me. It's just... ever since that Akuma was defeated, it's like I have this longing to know what it is I can do. It's not a bloodlust... at least , I don't think so. But I just have this desire to fight... which s weird, since I'm not that much of a fighter.” She said, looking at the back of her, staring up at the ceiling. β€œI don't even know it's name....”

….

Aria hid behind her smile as the boy yelled again. Clearly, he was trying to keep quiet, but that seemed like a hard word for him to grasp. Still, he WAS still a kid, so she allowed him some slack. She continued scribbling on her notepad. β€œThose things are what we call Akuma, they're terrible, mean demons that plague this world. Those of us with this coat are called Exorcists. It's out job to hunt those guys down and erase them.” She said, putting it in a simple a term as possible.

She began writing, but then stopped midway. 'Jac should know about this... it would probably be better for him to explain too....' She wrote. β€œI'm going to play some music. Hopefully my partner will hear and come here. It would probably be faster for him to explain it then waiting for me to write” She showed the boy the message. She pulled out her golem from her pocket, and it flew off in whatever direction Jac was in.

She pulled out her harp, and began playing it. Unlike the last tune, this one was higher pitched and faster paced. It was her from of a beacon, letting people know where to find her. Hopefully Jac would get the message and come to meet them.

Jacinto Inigo Riverti, one of the most ruthless exorcists went it came to exterminating akuma, and thoroughly gloomy man overall, was fishing happily from a small wall he sat, with his legs dangling lazily over the side and a wide grin of enjoyment upon his face. The finder he brought along called Martin was less pleased.
Martin was a tall man, standing at almost seven foot, and mostly covered in the standard cream coloured large hooded coat of a uniform the finders were given, along with a communication pack upon his back, a pair of sturdy boots, and a bony, fragile face that looked as if it would collapse with the gentlest of winds.
"Sir," he began cautiously, wishing not to cause the man to lash out at him verbally; "You are aware your fishing inside a water fountain, aren't you?"
Jacinto looked at the finder quizzically before peering at the fountain he sat upon the edge of, before frowning gloomily and saying in an almost sulky tone; "Oh, so it is. Damn it, I never find a good fishing hole anymore. How the heck did I mistake it for a pond?", before getting up on his feet and leaping off the fountain wall and in directly in front of Martin, his large exorcist coat flapping slightly as he landed, before chucking the fishing gear to the flustered assistant.

He peered off towards the village for a few moments, much to Martin's confusion and simply announced while reverting to his usual monotone voice; "We should continue searching. Best find the child before some akuma scum do.", and quickly began making his way through the italian streets, his finder companion hastily chasing after him as Jacinto sprinted along, his eyes peering round at most of the locals he passed with suspicion until he skidded to a halt as his eyes caught the image of a golem, giving Martin a moment to catch his breath. It was in fact Aria's golem, which meant one of two things; she had found the child they were searching for, or either that she was in need of serious assistance. The sudden high pitched and fast paced music in the distance confirmed the later, to which he then proceeded to bound and dash towards her, following the golem with a grin of relief and somewhat of excitement, though the speed he ran left the out of shape Martin in dismay as he desperately pursued. Jacinto liked children, he thought they were the crucial gems of happiness in the crown of life, and would give a good shouting at anyone who disagreed, probably also why he picked up the pace so much, weaving and dodging through the busy hustle of the town locals going around their daily business.

As he rushed round another corner, he frantically searched round the source of the music to see Aria with a boy in his younger teens, to which he sauntered over with a smile, standing along side the two.
"Ah, good work Aria, you certainly found him faster than I. Though you can stop playing now. Hello there young man! What might your name be? I am Jacinto, a member of the Black Cross, and I believe you may very well have encountered an akuma? You poor thing. They are monsters that look much like a ball with cannons shoved onto them, and are very much things that need eliminating. I believe you met Aria here. So how old are you boy?", the aging exorcist babbled speedily, barely registering Aria with his full attention now on Ray as he ruffled his hair friendly, his tone much more cheerful and joyous than most who knew him were used to, especially Martin who just managed to catch up with the group, panting his his hands atop his knees, slouching in exhaustion.

Tsubaki nodded to both Raine's comment and Alastair's suggestion to switch topics. She never liked the whole topic of AKuma while she was eating, it made her kind of sick. She took another bite of her meal, and tapped her lip thoughtfully with her fork. What would be a good topic for them? Something light hearted, and good. Like normal people and not exorcists. She took another bite, swallowing, then said "How about how many times Alastair will fall down when we got outside again?" She had a small smile on her face, as she then added "I'm guessing five times!" She ate slowly, as she spoke.
(Writer's block, and sorry Lufia, I have nothing to do X3)

Ray blinked, as he watched an older man come toward the two. He reminded Ray of his grandpa, except younger. As the man spoke, he couldn't barely make out his questions, mostly because he talked fast and a lot. Ray shot him a grin, then said "My name's Ray! Nice ta meet'cha!" He nodded quickly again, then stood up on the bench and jumped on it. "YEAH!! THEY WERE LIKE THIS BIG!!!" Ray exclaimed as he spread his arms out fully as if to somehow demonstrate how big it was. He tried jumping to show his point, showing off his black cross tattoo looking things on his palm.

"Oh, so you guys are partners? I only saw ladies with the cross so I thought only girls worked there!" he said excitedly. "Or do mostly girls work there? OH! Can I visit you guys?! That would be so cool if I could! My parents told me about you guys! Do you all burst into flames? Can you do it now?" Ray spoke excitedly, as he looked ta the older man.

Jacinto kept his warm smile as Ray introduced himself and spread out his arms wide in attempt at portraying the huge girth of the level 1 akuma he saw, making a mental note the boy had an unusual pair of cross tattoos on the palms of his hand.
"Why word it must of been a terrifying predicament for you eh lad? Good to see your all well and such though, be very unfortunate if you were harmed, poor child.", he commented as he continued to listen to Ray babbling excitedly, seeming to enjoy the encounter thoroughly, an event Martin was extremely unfamiliar with as he merely stood awkwardly in the background watching.
The aging exorcist was not all that surprised the innocence blood boy had seen one from the order before, after all it would be very unlikely for him to have seen an akuma without and exorcist appearing and survive, though was taken a little off guard at Ray's old conclusion the order was a female only organization, but all this did was make his smile widen as he kept listening until the boy had finished talking, though was immensely surprised to hear the boys parents told tales of exorcists, and arched an eyebrow in suspicion. He decided to let the subject drop however before he began replying to Ray.

"Well Ray my boy, The Black Cross is a multi-cultural organization so we have women and men in plenty working as exorcists, and from all sorts of places and countries around the world! In fact, were visiting you because we want you to visit headquarters! You see your a very special boy with wonderful powers which even we don't really know about, and the tip top people of our group would very much like to meet you, though of course we would have to ask permission from your parents! Unfortunately, not everyone can suddenly burst into flames, we exorcists have many diffrent abilities from each other, no one with the exact same. I think I know the exorcist who can though, maybe you'll meet her once again one day.", Jacinto replied gently and sincerely to him, his face a picture of friendliness. That warmth however melted away as he turned to Martin and rudely commanded; "Search around for an inn we can stay at, the boy's parents won't exactly be happy some strangers want to take their child away so it might take a while.", the finder saluting before sprinting of to comply with his order.
He then turned to Aria and whispered; "You certain this is the child? Don't wont to take along the wrong person no matter how wonderful children are."

Raine turned over, looking straight ahead. Question time for Akuma was officaly over, but she didn't really mind. She had all the information she felt she should know for now. She hoped she hadn't lowered herself in their eyes by pressing the topic, but she had felt like she didn't have a choice. As she watched the exchange between Alistair and Tsubaki, she couldn't help but a let out a small smile of her own. These two acted like a couple in so many ways...

Her attention focused on her bag, which out of it she pulled a small notebook and some paper. She was interested in Tsubaki's history as well, but she figured she could afford to do something while listening. She began to write a poem, mostly because she hadn't written anything in a while, making sure to keep a close ear on the conversation

…

Aria watched the conversation between Jac and Ray, wearing a constant, reassuring smile. These two seemed to get along well. As Jac was explaining thins, she would occasionally give reassuring nods to the boys. At the comment of the all female group, Aria's smile almost wavered... Ray wasn't going to turn into a world-class pervert when he grew up, was he? How did someone come to that conclusion if he had only seen one exorcist?

Then there was the part about Ray's parents... how had THEY known about Exorcists... nd, at th very least, why would his parents let him come to the conclusion about them all females? As Jac was explaining how they would like them to accompany. 'You see, we came searching for a child around your age, who is supposed to hold a special power, even to us. We think you might be one of these.' She wrote on her paper

Jac leaned in to whisper to Aria, and she wrote out: 'Of course I'm not sure, how could anyone be, seeing as we have no clue what innocence blood is capable of? Although, we have more enough to go on right now... those black crosses, he's seen an Akuma and lived, and besides... can't you feel drawn to him? At least, I feel as if... this boy is the one. If we're wrong, I'll personally escort him back home, so there shouldn't be any worries. Just tell the mother we're planning on testing him right now, and if he IS the one, we'll send a letter stating so.'

Tsubaki gave a glare at the man, before pinching his cheeks harshly. "You cheeky little boy...you would do well to watch your tounge." She gave it a slight twist before releasing his cheeks. She still had a slight smile on her face, but it faded as Alastair spoke of her past. She had a slight frown now, and her eyes drifted downward to the glass of water. She sighed abit and then said "I don't mind speaking it, but it isn't a happy story." She paused, to place her fork down, and crossed her legs over each other as she leaned back in her seat. She wasn't afraid of speaking of it,just facing the pitiful looks she usually got when she spoke of it.

"I was born in they country side of china, in a small village. Unfortunatly, the earl found that place a nice secluded place to raise akuma. When I was walking home one day, I noticed a man and the earl in an ally. I watched as the man spoke a name...and the skeleton killed him and took his skin." Her eyes had traveled down to her food, suddenly not hungry. "I screamed, and the akuma took notice of me. It chased me,and I was able to get away but...I ran into another woman and she was an akuma. My innocence activated as the akuma too aim, and I went through it. It exploded, and I killed it." She said simply, and then added [color=indigo]"An exorcist came to my village when I was 15, and I was taken to the Black Cross. I'm afraid I don't have any family left, since they were killed by the Akuma. " With a shrug, she then said "That's mostly it...or what I can remember anyway."

Image
Ray listened, then said "Oh...so you guys all have like a variety of powers? That's so cool!" With a grin, he looked back at the old man, and the lady. Blinking, he scratched the back of his head while jumping down from the bench. They said that he may have what they were looking for, but should he tell them about that weird green dust? That could help with them right? Shrugging, he then said "Actually, I saw that big ball monster a few months back alone. Then this green dust came out of nowhere and killed it!" Though then added, "Or something like that, I couldn't get what happened!" He laughed a bit at the thought.

He blinked then said "I'm allowed to visit?! Seriously?! That would be awesome!"

β€œYou two ARE a couple, aren't you?” She asked , laughing as she watched the the two mess around. β€œIf you want me to leave, I can...” She said, teasing them to the max. She didn't know how to do much, but that WAS one thing she knew how to do well.

She listened to Tsubaki's story, feeling a lot of empathy for her. β€œYou've faced a lot, haven't you... that really does suck.... I wish all of this didn't have to happen...”

She looked at her arm again... was her arm seething, or was it just her. Sadness, anger... she hated all of this.

β€œI'm getting tired, so I'm sorry if I fall asleep.” She said, snuggling up to her pillow and closing her eyes

….

Aria listened silently, smiling even brighter. She scratched out everything she had written and had instead put 'On second thought, I'm pretty sure he's the one.” She said with a smile

She flipped to a new page, and wrote. β€œAre you hungry? I can pay for us to have a meal, you're choice!” She wrote, then turned to Jac. β€œAre you going to go handle things with his parents?

( apologize... i just didn't have too much to write)

As Jacinto peered over at Arias written answer, he gave an expression of doubt mixed with diplomatic acceptance before whispering back in reply; "Fair enough, the logic is sound but there's still room for error, hopefully we can confirm this for definite soon. Wouldn't be right to drag a child from their parent for a possibility.", before switching back to look towards the boy called Ray with a cheesy grin plastered upon his face as he replied to his question; "Indeed, we do have varying abilities, as the power source for such unearthly skills have just as varied effects on others." He then stepped back as Ray jumped off the bench he was currently on.

The elderly exorcists eyes widened as he heard Ray's encounter with the akuma, the monster being destroyed by a mysterious green dust, possibly the boy's own power? Jacinto could do little but speculate from this, though the nature of it sounded as if it had innocence involved, Ray seemed somewhat puzzled on the whole affair, understandably. This new piece of information caused Aria to write another note, this time deciding the child was in fact with the innocence blood they were searching for, and gave a curt nod in agreement with an acknowledging grunt. It definitely swayed things in favour of needing to bring the child to headquarters.

His attention then diverted to the child once again as Ray exclaimed happily at the chance of visiting a base of the Black Cross Order, and apply commented; "You certainly seem enthusiastic about it! I have a feeling you may very well be visiting us, though their will probably be a few boring tests to check if you are in fact the person we are searching for. We also need your parents permission of course." Jacinto's smile faded somewhat as Ariia asked the boy if he wanted lunch as well as if Jacinto would sort matters with the boy's parents. "I shall talk to the boy's family, infact, I might as well discuss with them now. Ray, could you possibly take us to your home if it is not too much trouble? I need a chat with your papa and mama. Oh, and Ariia, if it turns out I have missed an opportunity for pasta, I shall not be civil about it.", ending his sentence with a somewhat moody look towards his partner.

"It appears most exorcist have a path such as this unfortunatly." She said simply, but blinked when she saw Alastai lean over towards her and pinched her cheeks. Her eye twitched in irritation, as the man talked and still held onto her cheeks. It was annoying when people touched her. She liked to keep her own personal bubble to herself. Annoyed, she looked at Raine with another dating comment and sighed. They were not. She would probably never settle down.

Hitting his head with a chair seemed like a great idea. Hell, maybe even with the table...or throw him out the window. It was pretty high, since it was two stories but Tsubaki was pretty sure he would survive. She watched as Raine snuggled up to her pillow and sighed, standing up. She called the service once again, and took the empty plates away with them. Tsubaki looked at Alastair, and walked towards him. Once behind him, she wrapped her arms around his neck and had him in a choke lock. "A chair would not be my first choice, Ala-chan...It would be with your own arms..." She said, before releasing him. "COme on, let's go. You have your own room remember?"

Image
Ray nodded towards the older man and said "Sure! I wouldn't mind showing you where!" He pointed towards the left. "My house is that way!" With that, he started to run off again, but stopped himself from going to fast, after all the other man looked pretty old. It was about time when his dad came home anyway, so it was fine. It was only a short ways from here after all he had been going back home since he finished delivaring.

His house was small, but very spacious. He peered through the screen door, to see his parents sitting around the table. He went inside and explained quickly about what had happen. His parents looked worried for amoment, then nodded athim to bring them in. Ray went outside of his house, and stood out to wait fo rthe two exorcist to catch up with him.

Raine didn't sleep too well. It's not like she was having nightmares or anything... but every-time she was about to drift off into full sleep, something would jolt her awake- a pain in her right arm. After a few attempts of trying to quell her arm, she got frustrated and sat up, heating herself a cup of cocoa. She yawned, trying to keep quiet so that she wouldn't disturb the others. As she did, she couldn't help but feel restless... she couldn't sit still at all! She looked outside, seeing snow fall down. 'I'll go outside for a little bit- it should be okay as long as I don't stray to far." She thought, quietly putting on her shoes, crouching to muffle her footsteps as she proceeded down the stairs and out the front door.

Seeing the chill air blowing the flakes around gave Raine a sense of happiness as she began to walk around town- she hadn't gotten to see that much when she was walking through with Tsubaki, and the absence of people gave it a nice, serene feel. She had snuck out of her own mansion a lot, but this feeling was different altogether. The sense of unfamiliarity gave her a bit of a thrill. It made her want to explore as much as she could, and she wondered around town with delight. If she had been wide awake, the energy would have been doubled, and she yawned every so often.

A bullet grazed her right shoulder, and she clasped it. Biting her lip to avoid screaming, she looked to find the source of it- an Akuma.

"Oh, good find." a voice. She turned around to find another Akuma, one that could actually talk. "A young exorcist. Shouldn't you be home with mommy and daddy?"

Raine smiled. "Good Evening." She said, giving a mock curtsey. "One should always greet another, no matter if they're about to die or not."

The Akuma laughed "Tough words, kid!", and snapped, the other one firing away. Raine blinked unsure of what to do as she sidestepped. She could talk tough all she wanted, but she was still inexperienced. She ducked over to a corner, the pain in her arm flaring up as it moved closer. No... not pain... it was... hunger. "I hope I know enough to fight." Raine thought waiting for the Akuma to turn the corner. Once it dead, Rain grabbed it's head. "I still don't know what I'm doing, but I believe all i have to do is mimic that feeling i felt when i killed the last one."

Her arm obeyed as Raine concentrated on her memories. She could feel a slight vibration in her arm, almost like a silent suction motion. As she on to the Akuma's head, the demon began to turn pail. As it dead, Raine began to blink more, suddenly becoming fully awake. A few seconds later, the Akuma feel to the ground, exploding.

The talking Akuma whistled. "Some right arm you got there, kiddo. I should defiantly kill you before you grow up."

Raine gave another smile, living one of her fingers. "I certainly don't mind kill you, if that's what you want."

The akuma's arm glow, a long blade appearing on it, and charged Raine. The latter, who was a little more awake, ducked the initial strike and tried to thrust wit her hand. The akuma deflected it, slicing along her arm. Rain twirled as the Akuma pushed, but she managed to get her left hand on top of the Akuma's head. "Aww, it's sad i can't kill you with this..."

AS if defying that, her left arm suddenly ached. Raine blinked. "Or can I?" She asked. This feeling was different than her right arm. "I think I understand a little bit. That right arm was like a suction... and the feeling in this arm is different, so... maybe I have to give?" She said, then thought about releasing her fury directly into the Akuma. The demon froze as it suddenly as light poured inside of it, shining as it's intire body began to bulge up, and then promptly explode.

Raine looked at her hand, giving a slight smile as she licked her palm of the AKuma blood. "Hmmm... a bit sweet, almost like chocolate!" She said, smiling, then the pain in her arm flared up, and she clutched it tightly, trying to bite back a scream.

....

Aria gave a smile as Jac made a promise of displeasure if he missed out on pasta. She still didn't fully understand why he liked it so much, but she supposed everone had something that they absolutely loved. Turning to her notebook, she wrote "I'll buy you an all you can eat buffet later, promise." She said with a smile

She watched them go, going to a restraunt, and ordering a table for three, making sure to leave instructions as to where her table was. She sat down on it, ordering herself a strawberry milkshake, smiling as it was brought out to her, and she began drinking. She pulled out her harp, and began playing- might as well bring some smiles while she waited.

As Ray announced he would bring him to see the boy's parents, Jacinto kept his friendly expression as he followed the young fellow who was enthusiastically leading him to his home, exclaiming; "Lead the way my boy, we have a long journey ahead of us so the sooner this is sorted the better", while giving Aria a curt wave of temporary farewell.
He jogged after Ray with a mere slight distance between them, being somewhat athletic for his age due to his profession of eliminating akuma, and gazed around at the local housing, reminiscing a on his own home town in italy, his eyes seeming distant until he shook his head as the more dreaded pieces of his past were beginning to creep into his thoughts.

The aging exorcist came to a halt as he and Ray finally arrived at their destination, a small yet homely building, which appeared to have his parents within form the screen door, to which Ray decide to enter and discuss recent events with them, while Jacinto stood in wait, peering into the sky, his eyes seeming somewhat fixed on a passing cloud, wondering how he would manage to convince the boy's parents to allow him to leave. He then realised Ray was waiting for him at the front door, and gave him an apologetic smile as he wondered into the home quietly and respectfully. As he stood in front of the boy's parent she quickly announced; "Good afternoon to you both, I presume you are Ray's parents? I am Jacinto Inigo Riverti, a member of the Black Cross Order and exorcist. I believe your boy may be someone we have been searching for quite a while." He then waited for their responses before continuing, deciding it best to answer their questions to calm their suspicions and hopefully this making it easier to the road of a smooth negotiation.

Tsubaki offered the man a shrug. She didn't care what other people thought of her. She knew how she acted usually caused her to work alone, but made noe ffort to change it. She was perfectly comfortable with that, after all she was in this business to kill akumas and the Noah, not to kiss ass and please people. Though when ALastair left, she felt a twinge of guilt, but didn't show it. She glanced at Raine, who was still asleep and shrugged. She picked up her coat and slipped it on, shutting off Raine's light as she went out.

She went outside, and noticed snow began falling once again. She took out her golem, and turned it on and watched as it flew off. She followed quietly, and silently, knowing she would come back later.

It was a few hours later that Tsubaki was walking back to the Inn, still early in the morning, but as she walked back towards the Inn,her golem flew back to her, it's eye flashing quickly. A level two akuma? She threw it up, and it started to fly. Tsubaki rushed over, and followed it. ABotu to activate it when it came in sight...though Raine was there as well. Tsubaki stopped herself to watch what would happen. The akuma exploded in a rush of light, and she had to shield her eyes a bit at the sight. So , Raine had killed another akuma, similar to her first kill.

She watched as Raine winced in pain and rushed over. "Raine! Are you alright?" Slight panic crossed her face as she spoke.

Ray's parents gave a nervous look towards each other as the exorcist spoke. They had heard about the organization before, and honestly didn't want Ray to get invlved with it. I mean, people died in that place right? "Well...what exactly do you plan to do with Ray IF we let him go?" His father asked, a stern look crossing his face as he sized up the exorcist. he emphasized the IF in his sentence, while hsi wife glanced around nervously.

Ray listened intently, as the exorcist spoke. Well, honestly he really wanted to go, if it would explain his cross tattoos on his hands. That way people would stop assuming he was super religous. He was born with it dammit! He couldn't help it! Ray looked excitedly towards his parents, as if silently wishing he could go. He wouldn't speak up of course, but his eyes had excitement only, he wasn't even afraid.

Jacinto noticed at Ray's eager expression out of the corner of his eye, knowing fully well the boy was curious, excited and fascinated at the prospect of visiting the Black Cross Order, perhaps because it answer a few things he could never fully understand about himself relating to innocence, or maybe simply of the tales his parents somehow knew of exorcists, something which still puzzled that him they had knowledge of.

Regardless, he kept his gaze fixed on the boy's parents, who were obviously unnerved and fearful at the prospect of their child being taken away, a sentiment he fully understood himself. Despite his surly demeanour towards most people, he decided to but a brighter shine on his manner to the parents, as simply dragging away the body would not only be underhanded but just .................. wrong. He kept his somewhat serious expression of his normal way when communicating with fellow adults as he listened to the fathers words, but his voice was much softer, gentle even as he began to reply.
"Do not worry, we have no wish or even the remotest milligram of desire to harm your son. Ray here shall only be travelling to headquarters for a few simple tests and examinations, it shall be more dull than anything to him if I am frank, to simply confirm if he is indeed one of the children affected by an ailment which was caused on our part, though although mostly beneficial, could prove dangerous to others and himself, if he is not properly trained. I shall be accompanying him on the entire journey, and will not lower my guard at any moment until he is safely at our destination, as well as accompanied by my fellow exorcist Aria, as well as my current assistant Martin."

Jacinto then somberly removed his crumpled fishing hat somberly, revealing his short, tidy brown hair., before he took a moments pause before announcing some reasoning behind the sudden insistence of bringing their child abroad to an unfamiliar place.
"We believe he is affected by a substance we name innocence, a greatly powerful item that allows those who are 'bonded' with it extraordinary abilities, though effects are never one of the same. He has told me you have already heard of rumours of our organization, so you must know we battle against rather malicious forces, and unfortunately, your son may be in danger because of such as he is a special case even by innocence standards. They would stop at nothing to either to kidnap or even kill the boy, and anyone who wishes to even consider confronting them in an attempt to foil their plans, and therefore, hims staying is a great peril to your entire family and possibly even all who live in this street. If he travels with me, I shall protect him tirelessly to a place he is guaranteed complete safety from these monsters, and as their aim is only your son and not the entire family, you would all be left out of harms reach."

His face twitched as his typical monotone voice voice then cracked with a wobble in tempo as he desperately added; "Please, I know it is immensely difficult to simply let your child leave with a stranger, but it is for the safety of not only yourselves but all who surround him. Don't risk the life of your child, I made that mistake once."

Tsubaki blinked as the girl explained her ability. SO this was the power of innocent blood? Amazing...it certainly would help out against the growing akuma forces. Her ability just basically sucked the strength from the akuma and made it explode? That was certainly powerful. It definatly would be a great advantage in a fight. As Raine spoke about going to bed, Tsubaki nodded, then said "Alright...That would be good for now. Did all innocent blood types have such strong powers?

--Next Morning--
The next morning, Tsubaki woke up and checked the time. It was almost 8, and their train to the next town left in two hours. She stood up, and took a quick shower, before getting dressed and going out of her room. She knocked on Raine's door, then said
"Raine, wake up. we have to get ready." With that, she walked downstairs and checked the group out. She walked back upstairs to grab her luggage and wrapped her exorcist coat around her.

Ray's parents listened then sighed and looked at their son. "Would you like to go with them?"

"Yes! I promise i'll be safe! I won't run off on my own or anything like that!" Hopefully, he added silently in his mind. His parents looked then sighed. Ray grinned then ran upstairs to his room with his mother following him to help him pack. Minutes later, Ray came down with a grin, and said "Okay, can we go?"

Jacinto waited patiently for the answer from the Ray's parents, until they seemed to give him permission, the boy seeming giddy with excitement and anticipation when he rushed upstairs with his mother to begin packing, the aging exorcist managing to crack a small, faint, smirk at the sight of the boy's eagerness.
After waiting a few moments in awkward silence, for the boy's father, not Jacinto himself who tended to enjoy the quiet moments, Ray returned downstairs asked if they could leave, to which he responded bluntly ; "Yes we can my boy, and our first task is to find the restaurant our ally, Aria." He then tipped his hat to the boy's parents as gestured him to follow after, beginning to make his way through the streets of the italian town as he commented to Ray; "Now where devil is that woman? Hopefully we'll figure this out soon enough, she better not have ordered spaghetti without us!"
