❂Personality❂ || "I don't really want to talk to people to much, but really I want what is best for them"

Malakai is not exactly the most open person, he is what you call the closed off type where he only shows his true feeling to those who he is close with. He is often quiet but when he loses temper/ control of himself, he can have the power to turn the house upside down. However, he does quietly care for the others as he does recognize his own responsibilities. He is very independent and tries to do everything by himself as he doesn't want to ask people to help him. Overall, you can say that he is a closed person but yet still cares about the others a lot.

❂History❂ ||

To be honest Malakai doesn't like looking back. As a child he possessed his parent's power to control wind. When he was born and given the name William by his grandfather, a tradition passed on for generations that the grandparents will name the child. His family was very happy living together in a beautiful and cozy house. His father worked for the government (surprisingly!) and was in harmony with human, his mother was an amazing baker though she had a job as a designer. He also had a younger sister, Charlotte who was 2 years younger. However, at the age of 3, he lost his mother who was killed after one of her coworkers betrayed her as she revealed her power. She used her powers to save him from falling off a building, but he then reported her to the police, and they killed her, that was when the name Malakai was added to his name because it was what his mother wanted to name him. At the age of 6, the unfortunate incident with an Aerea who shall not be named occurred, which sent Malakai alone to England. Charlotte was left with his father, who thought it would have been safe for her, but then the war killed both of them leaving blood spatter and ruins at the wonderful house they once lived in. He grew depressed while he was in England and often lost control over himself, leading him to develop a power with dark winds. His conditions changed when he met a girl in high school, Melody Matthews whom he fell in love with. However that didn't last long, when she realize he wasn't human, she left him hurt which worsened his conditions, and he killed her by accident with his powers. Today, memories of the past still haunt him and occasionally cause him to lose control over himself.

Well so far, New Orleans seemed worlds away from the often cold and bitter city of Chicago. In New Orleans, the streets seemed to be flooded with interesting people, food joints, and jazz players trying to get a buck or two to pass by. In Chicago, you often saw the occasional stray dog and Police car. At least, it was like that from the neighbourhood Stormy came from. It was a good enough Neighbourhood, but yeah. New Orleans was different. It felt weird to know that just this morning she was being whisked away by her social worker from Illinois, all the way down to Louisiana in a short flight in an air plane. It all happened really fast, actually. Just last night her foster mother had been informed that her fostering license was expired, and that they had already assigned Stormy into a new home. Stormy didn’t really believe something like that could happen, but it did, and it was happening.

Stormy kept her light blue gaze planted to the scenery passing her by outside of the window, her music playing in her ears as if it were a soundtrack to her anomalous and peculiar life. She, unknowingly, sang along quietly under her breath as trees upon more trees seemed to pass by. She stopped as she heard a small chuckle come from her social workers mouth who sat at the steering wheel driving the car to her new dwelling area. Stormy now realizing that she had been singing quietly, gave a small laugh, and removed her headphones. “Sorry, Karen.” She smiled at the woman. Karen, who was in a black pants suit and a woman in her mid-forties, glanced over a warm smile and said “No, don’t apologize. You’re probably just nervous, you haven’t really been moved for two years.” Stormy had known Karen since she was 5 years old; the time in which she was put into the foster system. So of course, Karen knew Stormy almost better than she knew herself. Well, in some ways. Shaking her head a bit, she pushed her long blonde locks behind her ear, and glanced back outside the window as they turned up a woodsy road. “I guess I am a bit. Not so much about really meeting the new foster parent, it’s just… I don’t know. The change of it all.” Karen just silently nodded her head. It stayed silent for a few minutes, before a small, yet disgruntled and weird sounding meow-umf, came from the back of the car. Turning around, she could see her small black cat, Moriarty, trying to paw at the pet carriers bars as if it was attempting to escape its plastic confinement. Stormy gave a small giggle at the obviously tired and grumpy cat. “How much longer do you think until we get there?” She asked her social worker, before her question was clearly answered within the same second of them pulling up the long, dirt drive way. Turning back around to face the front, an almost secret garden scene tantalized her eyes. It was a huge, beautiful house with greenery, statues, and even a pond right in front. From what she could tell, there were no real neighbours close enough and that the lot extended far more than what she could see. In unison, both stormy and Karen said “Wow.”Another angry meow came from the back seat.

Hopping out of the car, the sunshine touched Stormy’s face, and she no longer felt need for the black jacket in which she was wearing with her days attire. It was needed in Chicago, but not here. She slipped it off, and slung it over her arm. Opening up the back seat doors, she pulled out her messenger bag in which contained her drawing stuff and miscellaneous knick knacks she carried around with her, her guitar case which held an old, but still beautiful, acoustic guitar which she drew with sharpie on painstakingly one night, and the tiny cat carrier which carried a tiny cat. While she did that, Karen opened the back of the trunk and pulled out two medium sized duffel bags which contained the only remnants of Storm’s clothing and other possessions. Walking the few steps up to the massive doors, Stormy set the pet carrier down, and rang the doorbell, giving a side glance over to Karen who stood inches above the short girls height.

When the door opened, a woman around 5’7 in her mid-forties, late fifties, gave a wide grin. She really seemed motherly, but at the same time like a professional. The woman looked vaguely familiar, but she couldn’t pin point why. She pulled Stormy into a soft hug, and the small blonde girl heard a small laugh from the woman as she moved out of it, presumably to get a better look at Stormy’ s face. Stormy just smiled back with a tiny, yet a bit sheepish, laugh. “Hey, I’m Stormy.” She spoke, still giving a friendly, sweet smile. Karen chirped in quickly, “Actually her Names Ara Verala, but she likes to go by Stormy.” The woman smiled. “I know exactly who you are! I’m so glad the trip was alright. I’m Daliah Morse, feel free to just call me Daliah however. No formal things like Ms. Morse. Come in, come in!” She rambled about, pulling both Stormy and Karen into the wide entrance way. Glancing around, Karen set down the duffel bags, and said quickly, checking her watch, “I have a flight to catch really soon. I wish I could stay and chat a bit more, but it’s probably best Stormy settles in and such.” She muttered about all business like. Glancing down at the seventeen year old girl, she said “I’ll try to call you tonight to see how you are, remember to pick up please!” before rushing out the door, leaving Stormy and Daliah alone. They both let out a small laugh at the woman’s franticness. Stormy, trying to break whatever silence that could possibly occur, asked “Are you sure it’s alright I have my cat? Karen said to me you were okay with it, but I just want to make doubly sure. He’s pretty tame, and often just sleeps all the time.” Stormy said, her tone carrying the usual kindness it possessed. Daliah just smiled back and said, “Of course! We just really have to see how the others react to him, hey?” Stormy gave a small confused look, before Daliah interjected the question arising to the conversation. “I suppose I forgot to say, I fostered a few more kids. They should be arriving fairly soon. How about this, I’ll show you to your room so you can unpack a bit, then come back downstairs and I’ll tell you a bit more about the house, okay?” Stormy just nodded her head, repeating back “Okay.” Daliah, before Stormy had a chance to reach for them, picked up her two bags Karen had plopped on the floor, and scampered up the stair way, turning down the right hall, then to the door immediately to the left. It was a plain white door, but as it was opened, Stormy gave a laughing smile.

The room was fairly blue. There was a large window with a sitting area right beneath it. The bed was fairly big, and the dresser as well. It was already decorated a bit with a few odds and sods, and that was a new experience to Stormy. Daliah, glancing down at the silent girls face asked her, “I hope this is alright? I took the liberty of buying a few things and setting it up. I can take anything out however and change it up?” Stormy shook her head, looking at her. “No it’s perfect!” She said reassuringly, “I’ve just never had this nice of a room before.” Daliah seemed relieved, before walking in and setting her bags on the bed. “Okay, well there’s lots of drawer and closet space. If you need anything let me know.” She finished off with, before exiting Stormy’s new room and going elsewhere.

Leaning her guitar case against the wall, and opening up the cat carrier to let the little blue eyed thing out. Stormy plopped herself on her bed, and glanced around the space, the silence all of a sudden over whelming her. She set her black coat on the bed as well. Moriarty hopped up upon the ledge under the window, and curled up on the blanket set upon there. On that ledge also, sat a white pillow with a thunderbolt on it. “Very clever...” Stormy thought in her head, appreciating the pun of it all. Opening up her duffle bags, she began empting its clothing ruminates into the black dresser on the opposite wall to her bed, trying to not over think the situation of all that had happened.

Stormy does not like change. That’s a fact.

She had to go through so much change in her life, being sent from foster parent to foster parents, often after abusive situations popped up. Finally, two years ago, Stormy had found a lovely Foster mom who had her own son, Jasper. They treated her like family, and she loved them like family. They reminded her a lot of her actually family, despite Stormy never actually having a brother, or any sibling for that manner. Stormy wasn’t exactly… human. She was Dimoni. An Espirit Dimoni to be more specific. She was basically like a human, apart from the fact that she controlled the Element water. Oh, and the fact that half her soul, essentially, kind of was in another person’s body, the person she had been bonded to since birth. His name was Tyler Richardson. She hadn’t seen him since the war between man Kind and Dimoni, twelve years back, and it always took its toll on her, as it did with the other bonding pairs who were separated. The reason they were separated, long story short, was because all the Dimoni’s were killed, but one woman sent away four Espirit all with a different element, and their parings. So, really not all Dimoni’s were killed. But most, apart from eight. Maybe nine if that woman who sent them away survived too. Stormy even saw her mother die, the day she was sent away into the foster system.

That might have been the spark of her small hatred for change.

Stormy didn’t really like to think of that however so she pushed the thought to the back of her mind. Finishing up unpacking, she went over to her messenger bag and brought out her notebook, which currently was jammed back with loose papers with sketches on them. Opening the bind, she took each one of the probably 45 drawings out, each depicting a different image. A building, a flower, and animal, or even a person. They were all pretty finely detailed. Stormy began hanging them up on her wall, scattering them. It took her all of fifteen minutes and when she was done, she felt a bit of sense of relief, a feeling of home sort off washing over her.

Moriarty let out a small, almost inaudible yawn, and Stormy patted him on the head, before leaving the room, keeping the door open in case the cat awoke and wanted to come look for her or to explore. Making her way back down the steps, she glanced around the large home, trying to find Daliah. Turning one of the corners, she found her sitting at the kitchen counter, sipping a cup of tea. She smiled at the young blonde girl, and went over to the kettle to pour Stormy a cup as well, handing it to her when she was done. Stormy sipped it as Daliah told her a bit more about the areas around the house. “So, in the back yard, there’s a large garden with a gazebo, and if you follow the trail behind it you will arrive at a pond. Well, more of a small lake. There’s a piano area just off the living room. Also, if you continue your ways down the same hall your room is in, there’s a small library room if you’re into reading and all that.” Stormy smiled, before taking a sip of what she identified was earl grey tea. “This is all so great... Thank you so much.” Stormy said, almost mystified. The woman must really be well off, but she wasn’t really going to ask how. Daliah just smiled, and sat up, saying “The others will be here hopefully in a few minutes, make yourself comfortable. I’m going to wait by the door to greet them,” She stated, before whisking away, leaving Stormy to sit in the kitchen by herself sipping her tea in which she adored.

Stepping into onto the front door of pink house, Malakai looked back down at the directions he was given by a local. Surely, they are kidding no one with a house like this ever wanted to take kids like him. He flipped open his phone book and thought it would have been much easier if Lana, his social worker had came along, but then considering, she is in England and he is old enough to travel by himself, they just sent him alone here. When he first heard it, it was pretty surprising how first of all someone is adopting him and second of all, how they trusted him in not running off by himself to someplace like the Galapagos or just somewhere that no one would find them. However, he does get the impression that his new foster parent(s) probably already gave the foster system a call saying that he didn't arrive on time, and the moment he knocks open these doors he will be sent back to England. Now if you ask why he is late, his flight got cancelled yesterday due to bad weather conditions, but then not that he didn't call but because he didn't have a phone to call with.

Examining the address carefully, there are no other houses around surely, this is the one. Nervous as he was he gripped onto his violin case tightly, it was an old violin case from his mother, he had kept it with him all these year. He knocked on the door. The door opened and out peeped a woman in her mid-forties, looking confused and suddenly realizing something. "Right, you must be the one from England, I was beginning to worry about you," she said with a smile "Hello I’m Daliah Morse, you can call me Daliah, but please do not call me Ms. Morse, it's just a bit too formal"
"Hello, I'm Malakai," he responded politely "I am very sorry for not calling earlier to inform you of the delay, again the weather in london has always been ....well you know rainy" he said as Daliah let out a giggle.
"well, let me take your stuff and show you up to your room" she picked up his luggage and attempted to take the violin case too, but he drew it backwards away from her. She walked through the house as he followed "here is the Piano room, you can come here to practice if you do play, it's been awhile since someone touched it" She continued to introduce the house
"there is a garden with a gazebo behind the house, and a small lake if you just follow the trial, if you have a chance today go see it, it's a very beautiful site" continuing on they walked through the living room she introduced "this is the living room" Malakai looked around and saw two kids around his age sitting on the couch, while another creeped up and said "Azalea?" there was something about them that seemed familiar, and clearly he had heard the name Azalea somewhere but he just doesn't remember the quite clearly. Daliah then realized something and called to the kids "Hey, Hale, Azalea and Payton, here is someone I want you to meet, Malakai and he is going to be living here with you guys"
That introduction came off as a surprise, though Malakai knew he had to introduce himself at some point, but his hands gripped onto his violin case even tighter.

Hale smiled at this girl again. He liked her, no matter what she seemed to think about him. “Despite what you have against my gender, I’m not like them.” He didn’t want to sound rude so he added quickly. “Sorry if that sounded rude; I didn’t mean it to be. I can—” He started, but he was quickly interrupted by another girl he hadn’t ever seen before.

”Azalea?” She asked quietly. As Hale met her eyes, he saw her expression. It looked like he had finally found someone who didn’t like him off the bat. Hale didn’t bother trying to smile as he knew it was no use. Instead, he took a step away from Azalea and back towards the fireplace. He didn’t bother turning or anything, but he looked back down at Azalea. Had he frightened her? The other girl seemed to think so, though he couldn’t really tell. He wanted to apologize and be on his way because he was suddenly very uncomfortable in the situation at hand. He was about to say so and excuse himself when he heard more voices coming down the hall. Oh great. He felt like rolling his eyes, but he caught himself before Azalea or the other girl got the wrong idea.

A male walked in with Daliah, just as she said. ”Hey Hale, Azalea, and Payton, here is someone I want you to meet, Malakai, and he is going to be living here with you guys.” Hale studied him. He seemed familiar somehow, but how did he know him? And now he knew that the other girl’s name was Payton. “Well, I’ll be the first I guess. Welcome to this glorious house of life where everyone who lives here continues to be someone that you remember.” He smiled. Of course, he was being humorous. He continued to study Malakai.

Payton watched as the boy's smile fell. He stood and backed away from Azalea, which only made him look suspicious. Now, he looked like the uncomfortable one. With him facing her, she noticed that he looked even more familiar. Normally, Payton would push back nostalgic thoughts like that, but this time she went digging through her memories for his face. She glanced at Azalea one more time but before she could say anything a familiar voice interrupted her thoughts. "Hey Hale, Azalea, and Payton, here is someone I want you to meet, Malakai, and he is going to be living here with you guys."

After recovering from her mini heart attack, Payton slowly turned around, making eye contact with the boy named Malakai. He, like the other boy- Hale, she corrected herself- was vaguely familiar. He also seemed a little surprised by the sudden introductions. “Well, I’ll be the first I guess. Welcome to this glorious house of life where everyone who lives here continues to be someone that you remember.” Hale introduced himself, a joking tone in his voice.

Payton couldn't agree more with his statement though. She silently decided that Azalea had to wait. She offered Malakai a small wave. "Payton," she introduced herself in a small voice that he probably didn't hear.

She knew that these two guys were familiar. She knew them from somewhere, but where? Her eyes slid over to the violin in Malakai's hands and she wondered if he played. Of course he did... Idiot... Why would he have a case if he couldn't play? She leaned against a nearby table, back to her silent self. Her eyes scanned over him. Something about him seemed... off... like he was extremely wary or something. She tilted her head, a million thoughts running through her mind.

Azalea felt uncomfortable in the presence of Hale, but she thought he wasn't that bad. Not like the jocks in her old school. He seemed to be friendly, and she really liked his dog.
“Despite what you have against my gender, I’m not like them.” Hale said, quickly looking like he was regretting the way he had worded that. He began again.
“Sorry if that sounded rude; I didn't mean it to be. I can—” he was interrupted by a voice Azalea felt as if she knew.
"Azalea? the brown haired girl questioned, looking at Azalea as if she found a ghost from her past. Looking over the girl she did feel oddly like she knew her, and that things were more than they seemed. It seemed Hale and the girl may have known one another. She watched as Hale's smile fell, and the girls eyes were still in shock. Looking over at Hale she gave him a meek smile before answering the girl who had called her name.
"That's me" Azalea simply said. Thoughts couldn't help but flood her head. Why did all these familiar people live in this house? All of them orphans. It didn't make much sense, and only resulted in flustering herself.

Moments later Daliah came into the room with her warm smile she seemed to always wear. A boy followed behind her, again she felt as if she knew him from somewhere. That was impossible however. She hadn't of met any of these people ever, had she?
"Hey Hale, Azalea, and Payton, here is someone I want you to meet, Malakai, and he is going to be living here with you guys." Daliah spoke, introducing the guy. She felt the girl, which she just found out was named Payton, look at her briefly before her eyes went else wear. Payton seemed to have a strange fixation with Azalea, she found it rather peculiar. Though she had to admit - she wanted to know more as well. Talking isn't her strongest suit, but she wanted to know more about that Payton gal.
“Well, I’ll be the first I guess. Welcome to this glorious house of life where everyone who lives here continues to be someone that you remember.” Hale joked, introducing himself as well. Azalea smiled slightly before returning to her soft sighing expression. She wasn't the only one to feel that everyone here was like a ghost of the past? That's reassuring to an extent. Payton introduced herself to the guy with a small wave, Azalea felt it would be rude if she didn't as well. She had mustered a lot of confidence in herself to even talk to Hale, introducing herself to another guy of the house wouldn't be that bad - right?
"I'm Azalea, hello" she said quietly before looking back down at the dog named Rocky who was still laying by her side. She hoped Hale didn't mind her attachment to his dog at the moment. Malakai seemed to be a bit distraught with the sudden introduction Daliah had practically forced upon him. She didn't blame the guy - she hated being the center of attention as well. He had a violin case in his hands, it would be nice to hear in the future. The only thing Azalea could play was the flute, something she did not have on her.

An awkward silence seemed to fill the rooms when everyone had said their introductions. They were all foster children to a rich older lady in a big house which everyone felt like they knew one another. It was strange to say the least. Not stranger than her powers however. It would be a challenge to keep her secret hidden with this many people around.

Stormy finished drying off what she could, but her clothes were still drenched and she still resembled a small wet puppy. She would have to go inside and quickly change, but she currently didn’t want to leave the situation at hand. She needed to figure out if this was Tyler. Her Tyler. All signals pointed to yes, and if it was true, a lot of this would make sense, but it all seemed too surreal to be factual. She wanted to pinch herself awake, but if this was a dream, it sure as hell felt real. She could just ask him if he knew her from somewhere. She could just ask if he was somehow bonded to a girl named Stormy in the past and was from a different race called Dimoni. Y’know. Those casual and normal questions. Sucking in a breath of air, she turned her head to go call out to him, but it seems he was already approaching, and oddly staring at her.

What he said next came as almost a reassurance it was him. So he thought everyone was familiar too. But there was still one thing she wanted to check, and that would have to wait until she dug through her belongings in her fresh new room. For now, all she did was crack a small smile, and say, “Yeah, actually. They all do.” Stormy swung her towel around her neck, as he continued to speak about how they should head inside. She nodded her head in agreement, saying “We shall,” before taking his extended hand he offered.

Walking down the gardens path, she glanced over to where the young brunette girl had once sat picking flowers, like out of a scene of a movie. She was no longer there, and was probably back inside the house where others faces who she had not yet met walked about. Stormy felt unusually... nervous. Maybe it as because what she believed to be true was going to unfold in front of her eyes in a few short minutes. Yeah, that was probably it.

Walking back into the home she was still rather unfamiliar with, she noticed that the two boys who where in the kitchen with her when she first arrived had moved, and that it stood empty. They were probably in their rooms, or the living room. Right now she wasn’t too concerned about that, right now she was concerned with her soaking clothes which were starting to make her feel freezing. “I’m just going to head up stairs for a second,” Stormy spoke to Tyler, before leaving his side and making her way to the front of the house where the stairs where. But first, she had to pass through the living room to get there, and it seemed she found where everyone had been hiding. She saw two new faces, a boy and a girl. The girl from the garden was also sitting there. She would introduce herself to them in a second, after she hopped up to her room. For now, she offered a small wave as she passed by.

Scampering up the sitars, and into her room, she shut the white door softly behind her and stripped herself of her wet clothing, and grabbed the first things from her bag and put them on, and bunched up her almost dry hair into a pony tail. She felt something on her leg. Giving a tiny squeak of shock, she looked down at noticed it was her cat wrapping around her leg, its eyes half open as it was still obviously tired. Picking the small thing up, she petted its head, and took him over with her to the bed. She sat down and set Moriarty on her lap. Opening up her messenger bag and taking her sketch book out, she undid the strap bind and flipped through the pages, until she came across the one she was looking for. Inside, held a drawn sketch of the Tyler Stormy had bonded to. He was young in the picture, and it was all done by memory, but it was almost as good as a photograph. This was all the reassurance Stormy needed. Downstairs, was defiantly the person she was bonded to, there was no denying it. The little kid in the drawing still held similar features to the one down stairs.

But with that information, Stormy had no idea what to do. All the familiar faces meant all those kids where the last of the Dimoni people. What where they all doing here. “Daliah must know something.." She mumbled to herself, as she picked up her clingy cat once more. She decided to ask her ‘foster mom’ for more information before she came to any conclusion herself. But first, to find Tyler to see if he remembered her.

Making her way down the now familiar steps, cat in arm, she turned into the living room, but stopped as Daliah turned the corner just as she did, and began to make an announcement to the group gathered. ”I know some for you must be a little confused about the familiarity of everyone here, so if you all want an explanation, I shall give you one right now. We are still waiting for another to arrive at the house, but once she arrives we will brief her on our little meeting.“So she did know something about it. Stormy still stood at the entry way, but Daliah waved her in, so Stormy took up a spot on the large couch, resting the small black munchkin cat on her lap. The first thing out of Daliahs mouth next, was the answer she had been hoping for. ”Each of you are the remaining Dimoni people in the world.”

The rev of her engine vibrated in her ear's through the thick plastic of her black helmet. Shiloh was swift as she twisted and swerved through the traffic of her new home town. She signaled left and passed a large white SUV whom in response blared their horn rudely at her. Turning her head slightly she glared through the tinted helmet visor and slightly extended her right hand backward's, giving the driver the middle finger before revving the gas more and making the bike shoot forwards. Glancing over her shoulder again Shiloh noted that the blue van of her social worker was still in sight and from the looks of it having some difficulty keeping up with her which kind of concerned her but only because all of her belonging were in that van. She couldn't give to shit's about her social worker, Mr.Hansen whom in Shiloh's opinion was a complete dick. Shiloh's cell phone vibrated in her pocket and she turned on the blue tooth to answer, already knowing who it was.

"What?" she snapped coldly.

"Could you slow down just a little bit? Like seriously we are already late so...." Mr.Hansen's harsh voice instantly created a slow pounding headache. Shiloh rolled her eyes and cut him off.

"That's actually why I'm hurrying, beside's the faster I get there the quicker I get rid of you" Shiloh growled then hung up before he had a chance to respond.

She drove in silence the rest of the way, the traffic clearing up significantly the closer they got to their destination. Once she saw the turn off for the drive way a small smile softened Shiloh's usual stoic feature's. A small ping of hope flared in her chest. All her life she believed no one would ever want her, having been rejected by so many people yearning to adopt. Apparently she was to strange for anyone's liking. Shiloh kept driving until the house came into view and she parked her bike beside the house, the blue van pulling up moment's later. Shiloh put the kick stand down and got off her bike, straightening out her ruffed clothes and took her helmet off. The large mass of wild silver hair blew freely as it was released from the confides of the helmet and Shiloh shook a pale hand through the messy curls to try and tame them but ended up just leaving them when they didn't cooperate.

She watched as Mr.Hansen got out of the van and walked towards the door while Shiloh placed her helmet on the seat of the bike and went towards the back of the van to get her things. Being stronger then a human came in handy, especially when you had boxes of books and only wanted to make one trip to the van. She grabbed her duffel bag and backpack then stacked the six boxes full of books on top of each other and balanced them in one arm. Mr.Hansen knocked on the door as Shiloh walked over and moment's later an older woman opened the door and poked her head out. Shiloh almost gasped and dropped her things when she saw her.

Daliah? What!

Having a photographic memory Shiloh remembered everything from her younger age, including the woman standing in front of her. A frown slowly settled on Shiloh's face and she glared at Daliah.

"Hello Mis...." Hansen began but Shiloh cut him off by shoving her body into the house, knocking into Daliah and pushing Hansen out of the way.

"Shiloh what the hell! Don't be so rude!" Hansen shouted but Shiloh ignored him and went upstairs. She knew Daliah would try to make people feel at home so Shiloh had a feeling of where and what her room would look like. By placing all the door's she saw Shiloh made her way to the very end of the hallway and opened the door to find a set of wooden stair's. She climbed up them into the attic and found the space actually the way she would hope it would look like. It looked like her old room back when her parents were alive. Shiloh cursed and through all her things down onto the bed and quickly started unpacking, placing her books where ever she could, clothes away in the closet, laptop of the desk and silver pillow's on the bed. She heard someone come up and turned around to see Daliah.

"Shiloh dear I..." Daliah began but Shiloh cut her off.

"What the hell is wrong with you! Why am I here now after all these years! Are the other's you abandoned here to?! Is...is he here" Shiloh shouted at the woman. Over the years Shiloh had grown a hated towards this woman, the same woman Shiloh believed would protect her when she was younger, the same woman Shiloh thought would save her from the hell hole she had left her in. When her parents died Shiloh looked to Daliah and what did she get? Abandonment. Shiloh narrowed her amethyst eyes at Daliah.

"Yes the other's are here, you are the last to arrive" Daliah answered timidly cause she knew actually what she did. She had made a promise to Shiloh and had broken it. Shiloh nodded her head and ignoring Daliah rushed down the stairs and followed the hushed sounds of voice's. She reached the ground floor and walked into the kitchen, the voice's dying down almost completely when she arrived. Her eyes widened when she saw him and without thinking about her action's she rushed up to him and wrapped him in a tight hug.

"I finally found you Malakai."

“Well, I’ll be the first I guess. Welcome to this glorious house of life where everyone who lives here continues to be someone that you remember.” The boy joked, of course following along Malakai let out a small laugh, to be honest he felt the same a bit weird how he seems to feel some form of familiarity with everyone around here. After a series of introduction he learned that the boy's name was Hale and one of the girl's name was Payton and Azalea. However, in coming a bit later a slightly older boy "Uh, hey guys. I'm Archer. Nice to meet all of you." it wasn't his introduction that caught Malakai's attention but something he said much later "Do any of the rest of you guys- this is going to sound crazy- have powers, or, like control over stuff? That, like, normal people wouldn't?" How does he know about the powers? ....wait could it be that he is one of the kids as well? but unsure of what is going on, but Malakai chose not to speak up about anything, it wasn't a good idea to go around tell people about his power until he was sure that they are the right person to know about it, as it has happened a while back with Melody Matthews, he killed her after he lost control of his powers.

Later another boy entered as Dailah decided to announce something.
"I know some for you must be a little confused about the familiarity of everyone here, so if you all want an explanation, I shall give you one right now. We are still waiting for another to arrive at the house, but once she arrives we will brief her on our little meeting." After she said that she looked up and waved another girl in. As she announces "Each of you are the remaining Dimoni people in the world.” Wait what? that is why they all seem so familiar, we have seen each other when we are little, that means Shiloh is going to be here, she is the last one to arrive!

Then Malakai hears a knock on the door as everyone looked towards the main entrance
"that must be our last friend," Dailah said "I'll just go get the door right now" as she walks towards the door.

When she opens the door before anyone could react, in rushed a silver haired girl, of course... Malakai thought who else would it. She pushed past Dailah and climbed to the attic. She had been like that ever since they were little. However, to much of his surprise she headed straight for him next and tightly gave him a hug "I finally found you Malakai." she said as she laughed.

"Yep, Long time no see, Shy"he responded, he liked call her, shy, it made the two feel close together, but to be honest she isn't that shy.
"Let's catch up later, I think Dailah has a long more explaining to you as she is to the rest of us".

After Azalea introduced herself, Payton knew without a fact it was her. She was about to say something else when another boy stepped into the room. "Uh, hey guys. I'm Archer. Nice to meet all of you." Payton's eyes followed him as he sat down on an ottoman. "Do any of the rest of you guys- this is going to sound crazy- have powers, or, like control over stuff? That, like, normal people wouldn't?"

Payton's heart stopped. Not literally, of course, otherwise she would've have into cardiac arrest and we'd have an entirely different problem on our hands. Payton's fingers traced her veins, a habit she had picked up when she was younger. How could he known about her powers... unless, he had them. She knew Azalea had powers. "I know some for you must be a little confused about the familiarity of everyone here, so if you all want an explanation, I shall give you one right now. We are still waiting for another to arrive at the house, but once she arrives we will brief her on our little meeting. Each of you are the remaining Dimoni people in the world," Daliah told them all.

The dark haired girl expected an uproar of questions left and right, but silence descended over the group of teenagers. Suddenly, a knock interrupted any conversation that might have been started. Daliah walked away to answer, saying something as she left. Payton didn't hear her though. Her ears were ringing with adrenaline. Everything about Dimoni was so distant that Payton had thought she had made it up when she was little; a dream to help her cope with being different and nothing more. Azalea was as clear to her as day, but she had always thought they had just been really good friends. Finding out it's something more was huge for her. Dimoni were real. She wasn't alone in this world. Payton could almost scream from excitement. Instead, she sat down heavily on the couch. For a few long moments silence reigned over the group. She could hear chatter in the background, but that was all she recognized it as: background noise.

Her fingers continued to trace her veins. She wasn't alone. She wasn't a freak anymore. She had never felt safer in her life.

Daliah, after answering the door for the last and final time, felt the need to give the speech she had been waiting twelve years to give. With the speech full of the hope and soul of Dimoni kind, was also sadness as it was something she had never wanted to speak in her life. If she never had to speak the speech, well, it would have meant that the war itself had never even occurred in the first place. What a blessing that would have been, on all nine of them and those fallen and past. She prayed for their souls every day. Making sure that everyone was counted for within the living room area, she checked around corners and such, only seeing a stray Tyler. Flicking her hand, she said "Come along, dear. You will want to hear this with the rest of us."

When everyone had gathered up within the wide, warm space of the living room, she began. "Let me start off by giving an apology." She sighed, her eyes resinating on Shiloh for a moment, the most angered of them all. "It was never my intention to hurt you, nor to make you lose touch with your own selves. It was only my intention to save all Dimoni kind from absolute genocide. The reason all eight of you had to be separated, was so that the pieces of the puzzle could not be so easily found and connected. I can almost garentee, if you all had been kept together, that you would not be alive despite your very best efforts." Daliah stopped momentarily, before making her way over to a hutch which lay next to the fire place, her black heels clacking on the wood floor. Opening up the latch, she pulled out a stack of pictures, before setting it on the coffee table in front of all of them. "Some of you, as I can see, remember who you are. Who you are bonded to. That you are Dimoni, but some of you may need memories jogged. I managed to salvage before utter wreckage some pictures from your homes. Family ones of when you where a child, pictures of your parents, or pictures of you and your bond mates. You are free to keep them. They belong to all of you."

Daliah gave them all a moment to look through them, before starting back up again. "Let me officially introduce you to your bond mates, for the last time. You all shall never be separated again." Walking up to Shiloh and Malakai, she gave a soft spoken smile. "I am very happy both of you remember each other. Malakai and Shiloh, you are a very strong pair." Moving towards Fletcher and Archer, she grinned. "Well, Fletcher and Archer, it's glad to see you two together again. I hope you continue to be as great of friends and bond pairs as I remember you as when you where toddlers." She made her way over to another pair, grabbing one of Azalea's hands softly, and one of Paytons. "You darlings, Azalea and Payton, are sisters by soul. You have a bond so kind and tender." she said joyfully, before moving along to the last of the two. "Now you, Ara and Tyler, are one of the happiest pairs I've seen, even as toddlers. Care for each other." She finished off, before moving back in front of all the four.

"Gathered here, we have Water," She said, gesturing a hand towards Stormy, "Fire," she smiled, gesturing towards Hale, "Wind," She spoke lightly, gesturing towards Malakai, "And earth." She grinned gesturing towards Azalea, so perfectly named after a flower. "All of you combined, complete the balance of the earth, and feed it with your light.". She continued along seamlessly, "Not only that, but we have some brilliant souls with some talented gifts. Tyler with your persuasion, Peyton with your blood manipulation, Shiloh with her necromancy, and Archer with his Telekenisis."

She was almost done with her spiel, and so she sat herself down on a lounger in the corner. "I do hope you all become reconnected and happy. But there is one thing I should tell you. The reason I gathered you all here, was because I came into attention of a threat from someone who recalls Dimoni, and doesn't believe they are all eradicated. I now, more then ever feel it safer for you to be under my watchful eye. You will all start high school tomorrow in your designated grades. You each will have someone you know in every one of your classes, so please watch out for each other. I just so conveniently happen to be principal of this school, so if you sense any sort of danger, please come to me immediately. Do you have any more question?" She finished off with, crossing her legs and smoothing out her skirt.

Archer would have usually fallen asleep over a speech that long, but now he felt power coursing through his veins. He had an explanation, a reason to his difference. It was clear that his first question had unsettled some people, and they had maybe been a little creeped out. But now, it was like the rumpled mess of his life had been straightened. Bonded to Fire.

He raised his hand. Like he would in school. "So, are we allowed to practice our powers here? I mean, I already know how to use mine. Also, does anyone else know about the Dimoni?" He fired out the questions, talking quickly. Finally breathing, he calmed down a little and went over to examine the pictures. How did Daliah Morse get all these? He looked at a small picture of him and Hale. Glancing over at his bond, he realized why he had felt so familiar.

He walked over to Hale and showed him the picture. "Remember this?" he asked softly, all the grief from separation rushing back from the past to engulf him. He smiled, wishing for the simpler times.

______________________________________________________________________________
Hale looked over at Daliah as she spoke. There was that word again! Dimoni He knew that he had heard that word before, and it wasn’t just from Stormy and then Daliah. It was like the word echoed, resonated in his bones. It was a tangible thing really, almost making his bones chatter and shiver. He got a cold feeling inside him and he knew that it was important. But why? He looked over at the other kids, trying to see if they were having similar reactions.

He looked at Daliah for answers because he knew that none of them really knew. She was staring at all of them. Hale thought back to Archer’s question. He did have powers and apparently so did Archer. What about the others? He thought. Do they have powers too? Maybe someone can control fire like me. Daliah cleared that all up with her next words.

She introduced all of their powers and when she said that Azalea had the power to control Earth, Hale stared. Fire and Earth complimented each other, right? ”Not only that, but we have some brilliant souls with some talented gifts. Tyler with your persuasion, Payton with your blood manipulation, Shiloh with her necromancy, and Archer with his Telekinesis."

When she mentioned high-school, he stared at her. “We have to go to school again?” He looked around at his companions. Oh God! School was going to be hell, he thought as Archer walked over to him and showed him a picture. Remember this? He asked. The weird thing was that Hale did remember it. And he never remembered anything from before he was six years old. So he mutely nodded and then searched through the pictures himself.

He only found two pictures, not counting the one Archer had pulled out. One shot was of a small brown-haired boy with freckles, smiling at a woman standing a little ways away from you. She was holding a camera and looked like she was taking a picture of him as someone else took a picture of them. The woman was laughing, her eyes shut tight, her head tipped back. And she was stunningly beautiful, with the same dark-brown hair and blue eyes. Her jaw-line was the perfect blend o round and sharp-edged and she had a slim nose set between her large eyes.

The second picture showed him a little older, maybe 5 years old, and he was smiling with Archer next to him, his arm around Archer. Archer's arm was also around Hale and he was smiling also. They looked the same age, but Hale knew that Archer was a year older. In the background of the picture, there seemed to be snow-peaked mountains with a blue, cloudless sky. He didn't remember that place, but other memories started to flood back to him. Hale remembered being mad because his mother wouldn't let him go outside alone, him sad because his small stuffed bunny had fallen out the open window and into a lake, Hale happy and laughing at something his father had said, excited because he was going to learn what his middle name was. All of them included Archer there with him, experiencing it all. His best friend.

The information hit her existence like bullets to anything she had ever known. Reality kept going on around her, but she was lost in her own mind. Pieces of the puzzle she thought didn't fit clicked together in her head. Azalea's life was formed around forgetting and trying to begin again. True, she was only a child when her parents died, and she didn't remember much, but Daliah's speech jogged memories she thought weren't there anymore. The shadows of her past came to light. All the things Daliah said were overwhelming. The last of the Dimoni? These strangers were the people of her past. The girl on the couch named Payton was the sister that she regrettably forgotten about - until now. Registering everything that was told was a hard process in her head. She fought the tears that wanted to fall, instead leaving her with glassy eyes.

Daliah introduced everyone once again. Secretly Azalea was grateful for this. She put names to faces, and to powers in this case. When Daliah gently grabbed one of Azalea's hands, and Paytons, she looked at the girl she had bonded with all those years ago. This was the best friend she had lost that day.
"You darlings, Azalea and Payton, are sisters by soul. You have a bond so kind and tender." Daliah spoke joyfully. Azalea couldn't help but smile to herself. She tilted her head back down to hide the emotion. The word sister rang in her head. Azalea wasn't alone anymore. Though they had been apart for so long, and certain memories of their childhood together were foggy, she trusted her soul sister with her life.

Azalea held the multiple photos of her past in her hands like a delicate treasure that would perish at the slightest of touch. These were the last images of her life before the genocide. What monsters though it was a good idea to kill the very people in charge of keeping balance in the world boggled her mind. Photos of her smiling as a young girl in pigtails, with Payton at her side were the majority of the pictures collected. Her parents and herself were in one. Azalea decided she looked much like her Mother.

Being alone for so long tore at ones soul, and now she wasn't alone. She had a room full of people that were like her, and her soul sister back. The day would have been perfect if Daliah hadn't added the part in which they were required to go back to school tomorrow. Azalea hated school with a passion. She loved learning - but being the target to someones torment was frightening to the girl.

The days to come would be much different. She had a home, she had people to rely on - but going without these things for so long, how would she get back into the routine of having a home. In her mind it sounded much scarier than it should have.
"I'm sorry I didn't remember you at first Payton. It's been a long day" she apologized to her soulmate with a soft expression before looking into the unlit fireplace. She felt as if a party was to be expected at any moment to celebrate the reunion.

Payton listened to Daliah's speech as if in a daze. Her fingers continued to trace her veins on her arms. If she concentrated hard enough, she could feel the blood move through her body. Most people would find that a little disturbing, but Payton actually found it very comforting. Daliah grabbed Payton's hand, while also holding Azalea's. "You darlings, Azalea and Payton, are sisters by soul. You have a bond so kind and tender," the words were kind and Payton's heart swelled. Azalea smiled but tilted her head down.

Like the rest of the group, Payton searched through the pictures. There weren't very many of her without Azalea in them. She found one, which had only Payton and a man. The dark haired girl tilted her head, going through the pictures once more, but there were none of her mother. Now that she thought of it, she had no memories of her mother at all. The man seemed familiar, and it was obvious that he was her father. However, there was no woman that could've been her mother in her farthest reached memories. She held the pictures close to her, as if it would make all of her memories of her father and her childhood come back to her. She ran a thumb over her father's face. He looked like a kind man.

Her eyes roamed over all of the pictures. How could someone possibly think that it was humane to kill any of them. The people in the photograph were just that: people. Payton knew that Dimoni weren't human, but they had emotions and families. They laughed and cried. They were born and they died. Dimoni weren't that different from humans. So, why kill them?

"I'm sorry I didn't remember you at first Payton. It's been a long day." Azalea apologized and Payton tore her gaze away from the photographs to look at her soul sister.

She offered her a small smile. "It's fine, Azalea. It's been a long day for all of us," She tucked a hair behind her ear, setting the photos in her lap. She glanced over at Daliah with a small laugh, "I don't mean to sound rude, Daliah, but when's dinner?"

Tyler wondered around, with his water bottle in hand. As he still wondered why everyone looked so familiar to him. His eyes flashed towards a female's voice, which was Daliah as she waved for him to follow her. With the shrug of his shoulders, he followed her into what seemed to be the living area and everyone else was presented in there as well. Tyler immediately went by Stormy's side and sat beside her before anyone else could. A smile started to curve among the corners of her lips as his ears twitched when Daliah started speaking.

His eye met hers a few times but what she said next was stunning to him. They were the last remaining Dimoni brought together once again. His eyes fell over everyone else in the room and now he remembered. His hand was one of the ones that was first to grab at the pictures as he studied them over and it was all coming back to me. His eyes went from the pictures towards Stormy then back to Daliah as she explained much more than they knew.

"Now you, Ara and Tyler, are one of the happiest pairs I've seen, even as toddlers. Care for each other."

His eyes went over towards Stormy as he couldn't help but blush and smile. He nudged her with his shoulder lightly then continued smiling before looking back up at Daliah. She went into more detail as to why they were there and such. They were starting school soon and he didn't think that it was a great idea to say anything about it.

When it came times for questions to be asked. Tyler lowered his head to the floor then looked over everyone. His eyes were locked onto the pictures that were still in his hands as he studied over them again. "I must say, you gotten much prettier than you use to be." He joked towards Stormy then placed the pictures back on the table while clearing his throat so that he can speak. "So, how do you guys feel about starting school..." Tyler sighed. "Again?" He eyed them and waited to see who was going to respond first.

When Dailah begun speaking, Malakai listened carefully to be honest he didn't remember too much of the past all he remembers is some vivid memories, unless it was some dramatic event. "Let me start off by giving an apology. It was never my intention to hurt you, nor to make you lose touch with your own selves. It was only my intention to save all Dimoni kind from absolute genocide. The reason all eight of you had to be separated, was so that the pieces of the puzzle could not be so easily found and connected. I can almost guarantee, if you all had been kept together, that you would not be alive despite your very best efforts" He looked at Shiloh, her eyes filled with anger. To be honest, Malakai wasn't sure how to feel, whether he should be angry or be thankful at Dailah. After Dailah showed the pictures, Malakai was curious. It had been a while since he last saw what his parents looked like, inside his memories they were now just a shadow, inside him he was eager almost wanting to rush to the pictures straight away but he controlled himself.

Dailah then begun her official introduction for them "I am very happy both of you remember each other. Malakai and Shiloh, you are a very strong pair." What did she mean a strong pair he wondered, part of him wanted to know more, but she continued onto the other pairs.

After the meeting, he looked through the photos, there was a photo of him and Shiloh, the two were at his birthday party and they were wiping ice cream cake onto each other's faces, he laughed and handed it over to Shiloh
"Shy, you remember this right? that day you got chocolate ice cream all over my face, can't believe it's been 14 years since "

Then looking on the table, there was a family photo, his family photo, he closely examine each one of the family members. His father was kindly smiling at the camera while he and his younger sister stood next him holding hands. His mother wasn't there because she had passed away a couple of years before. He looked back up, as Dailah was looking at the photo as well.
"Where is Charlotte now?" he asked
"She...she..." She hesitated
"Why....Why...Why didn't you save her? Why didn't you tell my father what was going on? Why didn't you save her" he grew emotional almost as if he wanted to scream at her, but then he felt as if tears are going to start falling out of his eyes any minute, it was true Dailah saved him when she could have saved Charlotte, his real sister.
"I am sorry I did what I could"
Part of Malakai wanted to shout more, but then the other half told himself to calm down, he can't go on like this or he is going lose control of his powers.

He looked down at his luggages, of course after the introduction and meeting and arrival he still didn't have a chance to go see his room. He looked at Shiloh and asked "Hey Shy, could you please help me with my bags?"

Walking up to his room, he opened the door. Too much of his surprise, some features looked exactly like his old room with his parents but there were somethings that are different. The wall, it wasn't the wall paper that they used to have, but shelfs and shelfs of books. He walked over to the desk, on there sat a blank envelope, he opened it, there was a note inside "I hope you don't mind, I had to do some improvisation, converted the old book room into your room, just remember these books are for you to read and deal with, I don't think we'll need them in the library - Dailah" she said with a smile

Archer watched Hale sift through pictures, realizing that he remembered them. After a while, he walked around amongst the others, looking to see if they looked any different from other people he knew. He saw the girl- Shiloh, was it?- first in his search. She had silvery-white hair and bright purple eyes. Archer would definitely have noticed that. He looked around at the rest of the teens, but mostly he looked at Shiloh and her pair- Malakai, wasn't it? Yes, Malakai. Hoping he didn't look like a stalker, Archer finally moved away from the two.

Realizing that he was exhausted, he looked at the sky outside. Dark already? Then his stomach growled, deciding to make Archer do something other than reminiscing. He walked over to Hale. Deciding to break the quiet time that had settled like a blanket, Archer tapped on Hale's shoulder. "When's dinner?"

Hale looked at them all quizzically. How did this happen? He thought. He had never been a normal kid by definition, but he had felt like one at his old house. Now, he didn’t know who he was or who anyone of these other people were. Even still, he knew that he had to make the most of it. Smiling at Archer, he excused himself and walked over to Azalea.

“Hey,” Hale said casually, his thumbs stuck in his front pockets as he stood in front of her. He didn’t know why he kept coming back to her, but he felt like there was a small connection. Maybe it was because of their elemental powers: earth and fire. He couldn’t put his finger on it at the moment.

Shiloh just silently listened and watched as the other's interacted. As she listened to Deliah Shiloh's posture stiffened at the mention of a threat and she took a protective step towards Malakai. Like hell she would let anything happen to him or the other's. As Malakai showed her a picture Shiloh couldn't help but let a small smile grace her stoic feature's and she nodded at him in acknowledgement while her mind wandered. Who was after them? And why was Daliah so worried now? Why would anyone believe her kind still exists? The bloodied battle field of her home should have been enough evidence for any half witted human. Shiloh felt a growl bubble in her chest but she suppressed it. She nodded when Malakai asked her to help with his luggage and she carried what he had left on the floor and took it to his room, following closely behind him.

"Hey I'm gonna go for a walk, you know how I like to know my surroundings" Shiloh said gently to Malakai and went back down stairs, the light footsteps of Daliah following closely behind her.

"Shiloh I don't know if you should go out alone, it could be dangerous these woods are full of wild animals...." Daliah's voice was firm but weary, unsure rather or not Shiloh would give a damn what she said. And she didn't. With only a glare to answer for her Shiloh walked around the others that had grouped together chirping like little birdie's for food, went through the kitchen and out the back door. With her enhanced hearing she could still hear their voice's and it brought her comfort knowing they were all safe. Azalea and Hale, getting along as always, Archer demanding food and Malakai, Payton and Tyler being the same as they were when they were children. Shiloh's photographic memory was both a gift and a curse to her, for it is in those memories that were night terror's arrive and sweet loving images of her life before all the death. If only she could erase those bloodied, torn carcasses of her loved ones from her mind. How funny is it that death is what haunts her even though she controls it?

Shiloh groaned loudly and shook her head, coming back into reality only to realize she didn't recognize her surroundings. Great her day dreaming got her lost. Again! At least this time Malakai wasn't here with her unlike when they were kids. Its funny how he just tailed after her even though she had no clue of her surroundings being to caught up mentally. A smile appeared on her face when she imagined Malakai's big bewildered brown eyes when he realized Shiloh was in lala land and had no idea where they were and the big crocodile tears that followed when it started to get dark and they were lost. A soft giggle escaped Shiloh. Taking in a deep breath Shiloh sat down on a nearby fall tree and started to refocus her mind, expanding her spirit in search of the soulless. Spanning through all the forest she found the half eaten corpse of a coyote, a male wolf that had recently had its throat torn, a couple of doe's and bucks and then to her joy a large grizzly bear with a broken spine after a nasty fallout with another male bear and a mother cougar who had died from giving birth to two beautiful cubs. A sadness washed over Shiloh at the thought that those babies would be following their mother into the after life soon enough as they were only new born's.

Would Daliah mind if Shiloh adopted a few pets? Just until they were big enough to fend for themselves?

No she wouldn't mind.

With that thought Shiloh summoned the spirits of the dead animals back to their bodies, ordered them to guard to territory around the house then stood up and walked to short distance to the cougar cubs. She could now hear their soft yips as she neared the den. As the den came into view so did the dead mama cougar, standing protectively in front of the den, even in death shielding her babies.

"Leave" Shiloh commanded and the large cat snarled before it walked away towards the section of the land it would protect. Then Shiloh knelt down on all fours and crawled into the den into only her legs were seen from the outside. She took out her phone and turned on the flashlight app, the bright white light quickly filling the space and making the cubs hiss.

"Its okay babies come here" Shiloh cooed softly and reached forward until she wrapped her arms around the small shivering bodies of the cougar kittens, who being new born didn't even have their eyes open. Shiloh thought one was trying to bite her but when she felt the sucking movement she knew it was hungry. She quickly scooped them up and removed her jacket before wrapping them both up and rushing back towards the house, which was now easily seen as the sun started to set. Walking into the house Shiloh placed the kittens on the floor, since they weren't old enough to walk she knew they couldn't run away, and rushed to the fridge pulling out a carton of milk. It would have to do for now. Since she didn't have a baby bottle Shiloh grabbed a freezer bag and poured the milk in then cut a small hole in the bottom right and held her hand tightly around the corner, sealing the milk away from the hole. She then walked over to the kitten's and let them suckle on the corner of the bag, loosening her hand so the milk slowly leaked through the hole. It took about two carton's of milk but the kitten's were full and cuddled into her leather jacket before falling asleep. Shiloh smiled warmly as she cleaned up her milk mess and put the milk carton's in the recycling before she lifted the kittens into her arms, where they curled into her chest and nuzzled her.

"Shiloh?" Daliah's confused voice made Shiloh look behind her to see Daliah and the rest of the group crowding around the kitchen door. Daliah eyed the sleeping furry bundles in Shiloh's arms.

"Their mother died giving birth I had to do something" Shiloh said simply while giving Daliah a challenging look, a look that clearly said 'I dare you to say no'. Daliah didn't say anything.

"Umm we are out of milk." Shiloh said to fill the sudden silence.

Archer walked into the kitchen as soon as Daliah invited them to get something to eat. He rustled around in the large refrigerator for a bit but couldn't find anything that looked good. Walking over to the counter, he sat down just as Shiloh came inside. She was carrying two cougar kittens, and they didn't even have their eyes open. Daliah was talking to Shiloh, but Archer didn't try to make out the words. He just watched quietly as Shiloh fed the kittens. Coming over and sitting next to her on the floor, Archer heard the tiny cats mewling. They were two tiny lumps in Shiloh's jacket, and Archer resisted the urge to reach out and take one.

The empty milk cartons caught Archer's eye just as the silver-haired girl informed them that they were out. He smiled softly and looked at the cartons as deafening silence filled the room. He finally stood up and looked at the spectators. "What do you guys want? I can't cook, and I don't know about you, but I'm hungry for something not out of a fast food restaurant." He smiled as his stomach growled. The awkward silence was broken with a few smiles. Shuffling around the kitchen, Archer inspected all of the food storage places- midnight snack scoping. He looked at Shiloh again, who had the kittens fast asleep in her jacket.

Archer knew he was going to like this place.

Hale gave his signature, dashing smile before laughing. “It’s okay. He seems to like you.” He studied Azalea for a moment. She wasn’t his type at all, her being the quiet, shy type. He usually went out with the outgoing, daring girls who weren’t afraid of everything. So why did he keep coming back to her? “You know, you’re different.” Hale looked at her thoughtfully. “But you’re a good kind of different. He seemed to be satisfied with his answer, as he leaned down and started to pet his dog on the head and scratch behind his ears. He looked up when Daliah spoke. He was pretty hungry, he had to admit.

“I don’t really know what I want to eat….” Hale heard from beside him, the soft voice of Azalea. He smiled at that. Of course she didn’t. She seemed like an indecisive person more than an impulsive thinker.

“If they have anything, then maybe we should just make something. What about chicken pot pie? I know how to make it.” He addressed everyone that was still in the room. Hale had learned to cook a few things from his adoptive mom when she had been taking a cooking class. He was glad that he had, though, because he didn’t want to be stuck with just grilling things, like most men.

Azalea noticed that Hale kept smiling at her. Her eyes stayed in her lap and every once in awhile averting to Payton who seemed to be just lost in her own thoughts. She was glad Hale didn't mind that she was practically stealing his dog, Rocky. The girl found the simple name to be rather funny. A long time ago she decided if she were to ever get a pet, she'd name it after some sort of plant. That may seem rather corny and stereotypical to someone with her abilities, but nature was apart of her in every way.

Azalea felt his stare, and couldn't help but meet it for a quick second.
“You know, you’re different.” she heard him say. She couldn't help but raise a small brow.
"I believe we're all a little different" Azalea said quietly, unsure whether or not to be offended by the comment. “But you’re a good kind of different" he added while she was thinking. The girl didn't really have much of a response for him other than a small smile. She didn't really know what to think of him yet. He wasn't bad looking, but he was rather forward. Though unlike many of the guys she has met - he was kind. She shook her head of her thoughts and let a hand pet the white fur of his dog.

“If they have anything, then maybe we should just make something. What about chicken pot pie? I know how to make it.” Hale said in a slightly louder tone, addressing all those in the room.
"That sounds lovely" Azalea said quietly with a small nod, before looking to her soul sister. "Does that sound alright to you?" she asked, always considering other peoples needs before her own. Softly she moved the large white dog off her lap and stood up, brushing the fur off her black jeans and blue plaid shirt. For a moment she wondered if they were going to go shopping for clothes, as she didn't really bring much. But her thoughts were reassured when she remembered that her room had a full closet. Patting Payton's shoulder lightly she smiled.
"Cmon" she said before walking over to the kitchen, stopping in her tracks when she saw that the white haired girl had two cubs in her jacket. She didn't mind, she just didn't remember them coming in with the girl. Did she find them?
"Hello" Azalea said quietly to the girl before walking past to sit on one of the brown bar stools. She looked out the glass door, wanting to go back outside. Though it would be rude to do so if someone was making her dinner.

As far of as she may have seemed to others, Payton was very aware of everything going on around her. She simply wasn't one to talk much, but listen instead. She was still hungry though. It had been unlike her to speak out at all earlier when she asked when dinner was, but that was okay. She was actually somewhat amused by Hale's obvious attraction to Azalea and her soul sister not quite sure how to deal with it. "I believe we're all a little different," Azalea replied to Hale and Payton mentally cheered because she said something.

If they have anything, then maybe we should just make something. What about chicken pot pie? I know how to make it.

Chicken pot pie... That sounded good. Payton could cook little things, but she was mostly hopeless when it came to stoves and frying pans. Give her something to bake? She'll make the most delicious cake you've ever had. Give her an egg to fry? Good luck cleaning up that mess. "That sounds lovely. Does that sound alright to you?" Azalea looked back at Payton and she simply nodded. Azalea patted Payton's shoulder, "C'mon.

Payton followed Azalea out of the living room, stopping when her soul sister stopped. She peered around her and saw that the white haired girl from earlier had some cubs. Payton briefly thought that it might be a good idea to have the cubs vaccinated, but she kept the thought to herself, simply nodding at the girl. She followed Azalea and sat down at one of the stools. Her soul sister briefly glanced at the glass door. She obviously wanted to go outside. Without a word, Payton walked over to the door and opened it, leaving the screen closed. She sat next to Azalea and poked her, "I think Hale might like you..."
