Introduction

Dancing With Forbidden Fire

The Past
These two families have been at war with each other since the beginning time. Throughout history these two families have had the biggest, bloodiest battles known to man, some of their biggest battles even recorded in the history books. Both families of high royalty, though Davenports have always seemed to prevail as if they had some higher power on their side and the Blackwoods have always seemed to lose the bloody battles with the exception of a few.

Does this story seem familiar?

The Present, 2015
The battle seemed to dissipate over time, the Davenports rose as victors, hero’s of England. Their father the king of England and one day the oldest Davenport daughter would take over her father’s place on the thrown.

The Blackwoods, became almost a forgotten family, if it wasn’t for the history books no one would even know who they were. Though their father rules over the Soviet Union, but the world could care less about the fading family.

Each family though has a dark secret, a secret that the world would never believe…

The Davenports are born not only of human royalty but they are born of heavenly royalty, the purest of Angel blood runs through their veins. They are beautiful and angelic. The Blackwood’s are also born of a supernatural blood, only darker, they have the purest of demon blood coursing through their veins, there mind is plagued with evil thoughts and any human who falls from faith is solely due to them.

So what happens when the Davenports and Blackwoods meet up at a royal ball, with kings, queens and princesses from around the world?

Tragedy, Romance, Blood, Betrayal, sacrifice, and death…that’s what is going to happen.

Jerrica sat on the roof of her families’ palace in London, England. The whole city was visible from up here as she stood on the edge overlooking the city. The sky was a gloomy gray color and it looked as though at any moment it would downpour. Her eyes slowly moved from one side of the city to the other as if scanning it. Though it would seem as though she was taking time for herself, think all alone on the top of the world, she was simply doing her job, generally a Guardian Angel only looks after one person, but in her case she was responsible for a large group of people. After a few moments she made her way to the roof’s door that led back down to her room.

Today seemed oddly normal, no one had need her yet, which in of its self-seemed too good to be true and as for work, she was ahead of the game. She let herself fall on her bed back first, before hearing her name being called, she let out a sigh. there it is, she thought as she got up, pulling her long dark hair to the one side and making her way in the direction that her name was called, leading her to her father’s office. Jerrica Camilla, I’m not going… her father yelled β€œNot going to what?” she said softly as she stood in the door way looking over her father. Dressed in his usual expensive navy blue suite, she gave him a soft smile waiting for his orders. β€œAre you and your sisters ready to go?” he asked as if Jerrica was, their keeper as if she should know everything and she did. β€œYeah, were all ready, helped them pack myself, were just waiting on you.” She said watching her frazzled father search his office for something. β€œDad, your glasses are on top your head.” She said knowing her father very well.
He touched his hands to his head, a sigh of relief escaping his lips β€œI don’t know what I’d do without you Jerri.” he smiled his fatherly smile. ”Go get you sister’s I’m going to finish up some paper work then will head out.” she nodded as she turned to get her sisters Jerrica. her father said causing her to turn back and face him β€œThe Blackwoods, their attending this event, you know as well as I do their souls cannot be saved, so don’t try, and keep your sister’s away from them, no matter what it takes, their not as strong as you Jerri. The Blackwoods will do anything to make you girls fall. he said in a calm worried tone. β€œYou know I won’t let anything happen to them and you don’t give them enough credit, they are just as strong as me, they wouldn’t fall for any Blackwood tricks.” She reassured her father as she turned to leave again to get her sisters.

The truth was she wasn’t strong at all, she had almost fallen once a long time ago. But no one knew that not even her sisters. She sighed as she walked slowly down the hall. She wondered what I would have been like if she would have chosen a different path, if she would have fallen, she’s almost positive she’d actually be happy, but dwelling on the past was something she didn’t have time for. She reached Darcy’s door and gave a small knock. β€œDarce, hey, time to go.” She said calling to her sister through the door in a very motherly tone. She walked down the hall a bit more before reaching her youngest sister’s door. β€œAddi, hey sis, dad says it’s time to go.” She called to her youngest sister, before making her way back to her own room to grab her stuff and head down to the limo that waited to take them to The Royal Ball.

Darcy had been up for hours, finishing up packing. "Hey, Jerri, can you come in here for a moment?" She, like her sisters, could hear exceptionally well. When Jerrica walked through her door, she looked up from her book. "Jerri, I'm not a child. You know very well I'll speak to the Blackwell's if I please. Do you think father realizes that I'm jusgt as strong, if not stronger than you?" Darcy and their father had a tense relationship that caused a lot of bickering and angry words, even with Darcy's calming ability.

Darcy watched her sister from the corner of her eye as she grabbed a white mask, beautifully hand crafted and home made, for the masquarade. Of course, it wasn't definately going to be one, since the theme changed every year, but she brought it every year just in case. As she finished packing one last item, an expensive and gorgeous tiara she had designed herself and watched every jewel placed in, she stood to her full height and looked her older sister right in the eyes, something she rarely if ever did.

"Jerrica, I can take care of myself. I'm not a child anymore than you are. Why does he insist on treating me like one? I'm not going to try and...change them. I merely want to study them. Learn about why they do what they do. I'm a writer, and a princess. Please, Jerri. Don't follow Addi and I like a hawk this year like you did last year," she pleaded, eyes giving away her only emotion, an emotion that read I'll do my best do ditch you even if you try to go mom on me, . Darcy was independant, but she knew Jerri knew she would find and cling to her big sister if she got mildly freaked out by the BlackwoodKs...as she always did...

Truth be told, no matter how much she tried, Darcy was just a scardy cat...

Sage:

Finishing up a glass of wine he looked at the clock, his parents were away on business, so he was in charge. He didn't feel like causing any problems today, there was no reason to. His mind was elsewhere. He sat on his leather couch in his room and thought about the last ball he went to. Such a beautiful woman he had danced with, and bonded with. Turned out she was the enemy. He grumbled and went to go pour him another glass until he heard a knock on the door. "Yes?" He asked, his mother came in with a smile, "Ma... your supposed to be gone already!" She gave a sheepish smile, "I'm going, just please make sure Moshe doesn't do anything tonight... promise Pudi?" Sage gave a nod and rolled his eyes, "Ma, I'm 275 years old... how much longer are you going to call me by that name?" She gave a playful wink and shut the door. He went back to his drinks as his mind drifted once more to the dancing. "Guess I should start getting ready." He muttered, walking to the door he yelled out of his room, "Mosh! Get yer ass ready for the ball!" Shutting the door he looked through all his clothing. He had to make sure he looked good tonight.Pulling some things out of his closet he threw them on the bed, stripping out of his previous clothing. He looked at his tattoos in the mirror and shook his head. Time to make sure the past does not come back. He though as he threw on his clothes. He gave the wine a quick glance, and shook his head. He was going to dance sober, he needed to make sure he stayed alert. Thirty minutes later he was ready for the ball, he walked out of his room and yelled again, "Mosh! Come on!" There was no response. Irritated Sage stormed up to his brothers room, throwing open the door he saw that it was empty. Really! Of all nights! He mentally yelled at his brother, as he stormed out of the house, making sure to slam the door. He shifted into his kitsune form, bones stretching and shrinking and breaking to fit his fox form. He winced as all four tails grew out at once. Once fully shifted, he sniffed out for his brother, making sure to follow the scent of disease and discord.

Moshe:

He laughed as he strolled into the bar. Tonight he was going to have fun, his parents were out of town, and he knew that Sage wouldn't care. Immediately he saw a man smoking, making a beeline to him, he avoided all the girls staring at him. He knew he was attractive, but he wasn't interested in fooling around with girls... his true love was Sin and Disease. He took a seat next to the smoker and placed his hand on the man's shoulder. "Nice night we have here." He said making some conversation as the seeds of lung cancer slowly traveled all over the man, implanting themselves in the mans lung. The guy looked at him and put out his cigarette. "Best get yer hand offa me ya queer." The smoker warned. Moshe laughed and removed his hands, throwing them up in Mock Surrender. "Yes Sir." He didn't mind the guy calling him a queer... the man was going to die of cancer. He sighed and reached over the bar grabbing his favorite drink. Fireball Whiskey. The barista looked at him and he blew her a kiss. She blushed and gave a friendly wave and motioned for the back room. He nodded, having something in mind for her. Slowly walking away from the bar he made his way to the backroom whiskey bottle still in hand. Lets see...Blue Waffle? Nooo... Herpes? Noo... HIV? He smiled finally coming to the disease he was going to give her. "Well hey there sexy." She purred wrapping her arms around him. He turned around and put his arms around her slender waist. "Kiss me like it was your last day." He purred in her ear. He could hear her heartbeat speeding up as she gave him one look and then pressed her lips against his. He dropped the whiskey bottle and adjusted his hands to where one was holding her head close to his. He forced his tongue to go down her throat, spreading the HIV disease all over her body. She tried pushing away from him, finally realizing he wasn't natural. Bringing his tongue back to normal he pulled away from her and adjusted his leather jacket. She stared at him in horror. "I was born with a long tongue." He says before walking out a smile on his face. The smile quickly turned into a frown as he saw his brothers fox form. He walked outside the bar his brother closely following him.
He could tell Sage was mad, but he didn't see why. "What is your Malfunction Drew?" He hissed as soon as he knew his brother was back in his human form. "The Royal Ball Mosh... you completely forgot about it." Moshe did a mental facepalm and groaned, "That's tonight! Damn..." Sage threw him a mask and grinned, "Looks like your going in there dressed as a rockstar." He smiled back and nodded, "It fits your personality.. careless and reckless." Sage finished. Moshe sulked and got on his bike. "Get on... i'm not walking there." Sage gave a nod and sat on the back of the bike. Moshe didn't even want to attend, but he was going just because he could cause a lot of trouble.

Adeline was laying on her bed singing to the music that was in her ears and thinking about the royal ball. She for one wasnt really looking forward to the next month because her parents expect her to be good and blah blah blah. Thats the last thing she planned on doing. Over the last ten years she has changed, her parents and sisters both saw it and they were worried that she would fall.

Opening up her mind she could hear her fathers thinking about the ball, how he was worried about the Blackwoods and us being in the same place. This made her grin and chuckle, the Blackwoods..Well father I hate the Blackwoods so no worries with that..but it might be fun to mess with them she thought to herself. Closing her mind she stood up from her bed and looked around.

She could hear Jerri knock on the door β€œAddi, hey sis, dad says it’s time to go.”, Jerri was the sister that she felt closest to even though they werent close in age, she was able to talk to Jerri without feeling like she was going to be judged though she still hasnt told her older sister her biggest secret. "Yea yea Dad can hold on I am not dressed yet" she yelled out to Jerri.

Going to her closet she picked out her outfit knowing it will just piss off her parents but she didnt really care, she just likes to get under their skins sometimes. She got dressed, did her makeup and hair then grabbed her stuff for the ball, she was hoping this year it would go by quick.

Going out into the hall she heard her sisters talking in Darcys room, leaving her things at her door she went and knocked on Darcys door then opened it "Okay..so I thought we were suppose to be all ready and shit, if I knew we had more time I woulda took more time getting ready. How do I look" she asked as she twirled around a couple times. "Oh and dont worry about me Jerri...I wont spend too much time with the Blackwoods...maybe ill mess with them a bit but dont worry about me" she gave a little smirk and sat down in one of the chairs in Darcys room.

Jerrica listened to her sister’s pleas not to follow her and her sister was right she was a lot stronger than her more then she would ever know. Jerrica was practically a mother to her sister’s, her father was God’s right hand man, he was always doing work, he was never home and their mother had Fallen a few years after she had given birth to Addie. So she had always taken care of her sister’s, taken care of humans, and lost herself somewhere along the way. She lend towards her sister kissing her forehead before pulling away looking into her sister’s dark eyes. β€œYour right Ellie, you’re not a child your beautiful young women, but dad’s never going to look at you that way.” she said softly trying to calm her sister β€œI wouldn’t worry too much about not messing with the Blackwoods, I don’t care what you do with them…just promise me one thing.” she paused as she searched for the right words to say β€œDon’t…fall like mom, I can’t risk loosing you or Addie or Gillian, you guys mean everything to me.” she smiled as she turned to make her way out of the room, she turned back facing her sister once again with a playful smirk β€œBesides the Royal ball wouldn’t be any fun without some trouble right? she winked β€œCome on sis.” she said gesturing her sister to follow her out of the room to head to the Ball. It would be about an hour and a half drive from their home to get there. "Let's go round everyone up! she said happily, it her soft tone.

Adeline quickly pulled herself out of Darcys room glad she hasnt been spotted but Jerri mentioned their mom and now she had tons of things going through her mind. She always blamed herself for their mom falling and she knew her father and sometimes her sisters worried that she would fall to...at this point she wouldnt care really. She had nothing to give like her older sisters do, they all have something special about them but she didnt feel she had anything special.

Heading down the hall she passed her fathers office but before she could go downstairs she heard her fathers voice "Adeline please come in here". She rolled her eyes and sighed and walked in "Yes Father? What do I owe this pleasure of being in your company?" Her father looked up and shook his head "Adeline enough with the attitude. I want you to be on you best behavior. I do not want to hear of any issues. You are excused now" he then waved his hand and looked down at his desk. Addi turned around "Fuck best behavior" she mumbled under her breath then left. Grabbing her stuff she made her way downstairs, she was now in a worse mood. She put her music in her ears and turned it up loud and sat in a chair, her arms crossed as she waited for her sisters.

Gillian

While the other girls were collected, the Third Davenport sister sat in the study, dressed and ready to go, with a book in her hand and her hand fiddling the short pearl necklace around her throat. Although the theme of the ball has yet to be announced, she wears the same style that she does for anything with any hint of dancing in it- the trademark full skirts and felt-bottomed shoes of a swing dancer. The only reason that she, normally lacking in the punctuality department, is ready at all would be because someone forced her to prepare half an hour beforehand, knowing that she takes forever to dress, if only because she doesn't care very much about clothing, normally speaking. After all, she had never been one who stressed style too much in her life, unlike Darcy, who adored dressing up. Rather, she would rather spend free time reading a good book or playing a video game than getting dressed- she is simply persuaded into dressing for the event with the hint that maybe, just maybe, the theme will suit her interests this year. Besides, if she didn't dress in a way suitable for the occasion, the young woman may stick out, and she dreads such a thing even more than she dislikes putting outfits together.

At the moment, there is a dazed look in her eye that is tell-tale of the young woman accidentally (as she tends to do when becoming too involved in the subject) projecting herself into the novel again. Not that something like a smack or a loud enough noise wouldn't pull her out of the trance-like state her physical form enters upon the exiting of her astral body, but it does tend to be tedious for the others to drag her out of the state. Despite this, she allows her mental being to fall into the world of the book, which happens to be Jane Eyre at the moment, so that she is standing among the guests during Mr. Rochester's party, able to spy Miss Eyre doing her best in the corner to go unseen. People turn and look at Gillian briefly, but as she had gone into the book earlier in the novel, they do not appear incredibly shocked to see her. Jane Eyre smiles at the Davenport girl, seemingly glad to see the young woman who poses here as a maid, for the character and Gillian have gotten along fairly well, so far.

In the real world, Gillian's eyes stare unseeingly at the page before her, as the words rearrange to match the current scene, including a young woman in heels whose outfit does not fit the maid she pretends to be.

Inessa
A young woman with long, unkempt dark hair stands in her room, a stereo playing whatever band is her current obsession, surveying her outfit in the mirror. Although her tastes generally turn towards bright colors, the girl has gone with black and red for this affair, which will be her first time attending the infamous Royal Ball, a month set aside every three years for the influential youth of the world- it is, essentially, one large match-making event. Although she is well aware of this, and somewhat dislikes the fact that it is created in order to 'find someone' or whatever, Inessa is still anticipating the month in general, hoping to meet a few girls to have some casual fun with, to dance until she collapses, or to at least have some sort of good time, whatever that may entail. A cursory glance at the clock tells her to leave now, and so the young woman throws one last look at herself, makes a stupid face and strikes a ridiculous pose before heading out.

She walks down a hallway, her steps filled with the sort of confidence that identifies someone who has been raised with power, towards the door. A bright red fedora sits on a coat/hat rack directly across from the door, and this headwear she grabs to place ontop of her curly black hair, giving it slightly more of a tamed appearance, although the impact is rather minimal. The other three who would be with her are all off to their own devices, she assumes, though she hasn't exactly spent her time verifying their whereabouts- this family isn't exactly the sort in which the siblings keep tabs on each other, usually speaking. So she walks out to the limo that awaits her without calling out to see if anyone else actually is home, knowing that the chances are incredibly slim that this is the case (although, of course, there lies the possibility that Les remains in the building, but she doesn't really think about it in her generalizations). A chaufer opens the door for Inessa, whose things are already packed in the trunk, presumably along with her brothers', and she slides into the back, staring out the window with music blasting into her ears as the driver starts the car and makes his way towards their destination.

It is only once they have gone some distance that a thought crosses Inessa's mind: I wonder if Les was actually still in the house.

Unlike most of the other Royals the Davenports always showed up to the Royal Ball together. They were a fan favorite. Although their father only ruled over England, they were world famous, they were Iconic in the Us, mostly Hollywood, Asia, all of Europe and Canada. They inspired several movies and books. There live was so public, yet the family its self was mysterious. Jerrica took a deep breath and supported herself against the wall as she felt a sharp pain shoot through her chest, she closed her eyes and breath in and out in and back out. Someone, one of the humans she watched over had just died, she was tied to a large group of humans and whenever one died she could feel it, though there was nothing she could do, when she felt the pain it meant it was their time to go and it was one less person on her list. She almost passed out from the pain, it took her a few moments to get her composer back. She finally opened her eyes luckily no one had been around, she hated when people saw her in pain, she hated when anyone saw her any way but happy, especially her sisters.

She made her way to the library poking her head in seeing her younger sister reading. β€œHey Gillian, ready to go?” she smiled β€œI’ll be waiting in the car.” She said before heading out to the limo to wait for her sisters. She straightened out her white dress that was inappropriate to say the least, but that was the only thing she ever did against her fathers will, she never understood the point of hiding a perfectly good body and she liked to show it off or maybe she had only started doing this after the last Royal ball, when she meet him it was the only real thing she could do to keep the memories of the last ball alive. Of course her sister knew nothing about what had happened that year, they assumed Jerrica had nothing better to do then keep an eye on them, but the honest truth was, she had never checked on them or followed them that whole month, she was busy with something else entirely, she thought as she waited for her sisters in the back of the limo.

Sage:

Pulling up to the Ball's location brought back a lot of memories. He got of the bike, and walked in hesitantly. She was the only one who had a power over him, and hie eyes searched everywhere for her. Taking a sigh of relief, he noticed everyone was wearing a mask. oh... lovely... a masquerade. He thought to himself, as he untied his mask from his waist and threw it over his face. Something felt different tonight, out of the ordinary. Then again, he had rode on a bike to get here, all because his brother was a careless fool. He went and sat in the corner, watching everyone dance and dine. He carefully watched everyone, making sure that he wasn't seeing her. He didn't know how he would even react if he did see her. After a few minutes, he gave up his search. It would be impossible to tell if she was even here because of all the masks. Shaking his head he tried to forget about her. Tonight was about the ball... not her... some Angel He encountered at the last ball he went to.

Moshe:

He walked in sarcastically as if he were some formal prince. He just looked like a five star rockstar. Seeing his brother walk off in the corner, he shrugged, such a moody twit he was. Moshe couldn't understand why Sage was so different, and didn't enjoy human suffering. His eyes scanned the crowd for a target to play with. Finding a girl who could be passed off as a Junkie he walked over to her and bowed. "May i have this dance milady?" He asked smirking a bit. The woman seemed surprised, but agreed. He took her across the dance floor and started to dance with her, his malicious smirk never leaving his face. Leaning forward he whispered in her ear, planting seeds of suggestion. "When you are done with this dance, you will go in the bathroom, and try heroin and crack together for the first time." Pulling away he saw that his suggestion worked, he stuffed the little ball of his deadly mixture, and a rig to shoot it up with in the front of her dress, where her cleavage held it. He finished dancing, and bowed gracefully, and went to go pour him some whiskey. Tonight was going to be a fun night. Realizing that he didn't have his mask on, he quickly threw it on, shielding his face from any Davenports he might encounter.

Darcy:
Dacry sat shotgun, as per usual, while her sister started up the car. Her dress was a bit shorter than she would have liked, but she knew she didn't have to be as dressed up for today as the other days. Darcy looked at her other two sisters, Addie who was severely underdressed (a big pet peeve of Darcy's) and Gillian, who looked gorgeous as always. "So..." Darcy checked herself in the mirror, "Do you think that all of them will arrive at the same time this year? Three years ago all but the boy my age showed up at the same time," Darcy was, of course, speaking of the Blackwood family, and she always got a glint in her eyes when she mentioned the one her age. For some reason, he was her favorite. She loved healing those he had diseased, like that poor bartender girl he had nearly killed...

Darcy looked at her sister, who was staring at her. "Would you relax!?" She snapped quietly, so as her sisters didn't hear her. "He kissed me ONCE, I'm NOT mom," She hissed venomintly. 6 years ago, Moshe and Darcy had kissed once, when both had had a bit to much fun and they didn't know who the other was anymore. (It takes a lot to get a demon and an angel drunk, but they had been drinking for literally DAYS).

Lestat:
Les arrived just after Sage, finding him and walking up to him. His outfit was a bit to dressy, but the fact that his shirt was untucked and his tie was loose made him look like he didn't care, which he didn't. "Seen Moshe or Inessa yet?" He asked in his husky, low voice. He was usually quiet, barely speaking in large crowds but usually unable to be shut up in private situations. Before Sage ccould answer his question, Les slapped his arm, pointing to a black car with tinted windows. "Daven-bitches at 12 o'clock," I informed, watching as the youngest and another got out of the back, the other two remaining in the car for only a moment longer. Instantly, help from the household came to help them with their bags. Compared to Lestat's one bag, each girl had two or three, which made him gag. These girls always went all out, and he knew they would all look amazing, though he'd never admit it out loud.

Fixing his disheveled hair, he looked at the girls. "Wanna go have some fun?" Lestat was already thinking of all the things he could do, making them crazy then taking it away from them in a heartbeat. Lestat sent a wave of emotions over, and a fight broke out between the girl in the green dress and the girl in the jeans.

Darcy:
"Addie, couldn't you dress up just a little bit?!" Darcy hissed at her sister, nodding to her jeans. "You're underdressed compared to even the help!" Darcy looked at one of the men carrying her bags. "And by that, it's a compliment to you, darling," She sent one of ther winning smiles to the young man, who flushed.

"Th-thank you Miss Davenport!" he stuttered, bowing his head. Darcy touched his arm, and smiled again. She had a way with the lower classes, and they seemed to like her best of her sisters.

"Jerri, you couldn't have suggested that maybe she dress a little more appropriately?" She asked her sister in a hushed tone. Addie was getting mad, and Darcy could tell. She didn't know where this sudden rush of anger came from, but she guessed it was probably the nerves of seeing Moshe again after 6 years of not seeing him...

SAGE:

Snapping out of his daze he looked up at his youngest brother. "You..still have powers you can use over the angels.. I on the other hand cannot." He gives a small yawn and watches Moshe carefully. "Dammit... Mosh is always doing something to try and get himself killed." He watched some of the Davenports come in and he chuckled. "Your so bad its not even funny." He playfully punched Les in the arm, and looked at his outfit. "So... trying to be a rockstar this year?" He raised a brow as he held his tongue to add on how much the boy looked like Moshe. He stood up and fixed himself a glass of wine. "Wine and Dine Troll... wine and dine." He winked hoping the youngest would get the hint, slowly tasting the rich flavor of the wine they were serving this year. "And Mosh just influenced a girl to do drugs in the womens bathroom, so about now..." He pointed over to Moshe drinking. "He's busy drinking." A smirk formed upon his face as he watched all the Davenports, praying he didn't see HER again. "And little snowflake... is..he frowns, "She's not here... she'll be here soon. She wouldn't shut up about the damned ball." He chuckled as he saw her walk in, with her slender black dress and red fedora. "See there she is...much more devil like than snowflake like... i must change her nickname..." He mused afterwords.

Moshe:

Finishing up his third glass of whiskey he eyes Sage and Lestat talking in the corner. Not particularly fond of his younger brother he ignored them. He felt as if him and Les were alike. Feeling the Aura of his brothers powers, he watched carefully to see what was being done. That was when he saw her... "Dart." He muttered under his breath. That's what he had nicknamed her after they had shared that one kiss. He smiled thinking about it. He waited in silence to see if she would notice him.

Gillian
Luckily, the young woman had just fallen into the book, and words had only begun to fall off her lips while addressing Miss Eyre, making it easier for Jerrica to pull the third sister out of her enchanted state. Had she been in the book for a longer period of time, it would have taken a good deal more time for this to happen, or at least a tad more effort. For this situation, however, Gillian blinks rapidly until her vision displays Mr. Rochester's home no longer, but the study in which she had begun reading. I did it on accident again. No good- I have places to go, the brunette scolds herself mentally, whilst standing up and placing the book down on the chair with a satin ribbon tucked between the pages to hold her place. After smoothing out her black dress once, and adjusting the petticoat under it which makes for fabulous swing outs, the girl puts on a bright smile (which doesn't take much effort, fortunately, because she does tend to enjoy the months that come every three years- primarily because she is not the sort who is easily rolled into any drama, and therefore may pass them peacefully) and walks out to the car, where Darcy, Adeline and Jerrica await her in the car. She slides in and glances quickly at what her siblings wear, biting her lip slightly at the length of the two older Davenport girls' dresses- especially Jerrica's white ensemble, which is somewhat. . .revealing. Personally, Gillian would never have the confidence to wear such clothing, and has only been seen in anything short when she was wearing, well, shorts. It simply isn't her style, which more fits the vintage look, to be honest. Only Adeline doesn't wear such a short dress, but instead a casual punk outfit- no doubt in order to irritate both Darcy and their parents. Gillian says nothing about it, though, not being the confrontational sort. In fact, she often fears that she isn't any kind of sort.

When Darcy poses a question to them about the arrival of the Blackwoods, Gillian merely shakes her head and smiles, not having the chance to say anything because soon Darcy snaps at Jerri. Even this tiny displeasure makes her tense verys lightly, but the young woman pulls out a smile, determined to be happy tonight. Unlike the elder two, she doesn't have any tension about meeting Blackwoods again- she tends to busy herself enough to not have any sort of interaction with them, thankfully. Soon they have arrived, each with around two suit cases, maybe three, which are taken away by the staff. The music playing, for the moment, is not precisely what Gillian had been hoping for, but it does have a bit of jazz to it, and there is a saxaphone player in the live band, inspiring some hope for the girl's favorite style of dance. She knows that the prince from Germany can lindy, and may have heard something about the boy from Greece, as well. Her good mood is dampened once more, as Darcy begins to scold Adeline, who doesn't look particularly happy about it. Gillian's eyes sweep the ballroom, and settle on a young man who is staring directly at the family and smirking as though he finds it hilarious. What is he looking at? Oh- a Blackwood. Did he-? Suddenly the band strikes up a new song, and the dance floor seems to rearrange itself as new partners are found.

Inessa
The youngest Blackwood arrives a little bit before the Davenports, and by the time the four sisters have arrived, she has disappeared onto the dancefloor, dancing with men and women alike, and messing with the minds of each one who is unfortunate enough to have agreed to, or asked for, a dance. The current victim is a lovely young woman with soft blond hair, who comes from Sweden or some other nordic country of that sort. Inessa's mask and bright red hat distract one from easily guessing who she is, unless they already have a certain level of awareness about each of the various Blackwood siblings. She catches Moshe slipping drugs into one girl's cleavage, and smirks, before turning back to her own young woman. They dance in such a way so that their bodies are close together, and Inessa leans over to whisper something into the girl's ear, prompting the young women to blush scarlet for a moment, before nodding in agreement and glancing over her shoulder at a blond girl whose appearance mirrors her own- her twin sister. "Wouldn't she be lovely to play with, dear?" Inessa suggests wickedly, "She is as beautiful as you- certainly you have had such thoughts before?" By the time the song has ended, the two sisters have mysteriously disappeared together, though Inessa could catch them on the way out, moving closer and closer to each other as though they were trying to mold together.

At that moment she notices the Davenport girls, including the one who appears to be underdressed and, admittedly, incredibly sexy. With another smirk, Inessa moves swiftly through the dancefloor, sliding around couples, dropping a trace of lust here, a desire for blood here, until she is standing next to Sage and Les, who seems to already be cooking up some chaos, based on the expression on his face and the air of tension that hangs above the girl in jeans and her sister, who wears a short dress. "Having fun without me, I see," she accuses him teasingly, though fondness in her voice is minimal- although they do no dislike each other, Les and Inessa have never possessed an incredibly close bond.

Lestat:
He laughed at his brother "Actually I'm trying to be an I-don't-give-a-fuck star," Lestat corrected. After taking a sip of the wine, he made a small sound of approval. "RΓΌdesheimer Apostelwein, 1727," He mused, nodding. "They really are going all out this year, aren't they Pudi?" He dodged the next blow, which wouldn't be as playful as the last. Shaking his head a chuckling, he watched as one of the older Daven-bitch girls walked toward Moshe.

"Hey, Sage, isn't that the girl that Mosh kissed?" Lestat was torn between going over and interrupting whatever conversation would start, and staying and watching the developments. He fixed his hair again, debating with himself. "So, watch or interrupt?" He asked pleasently, taking another sip of his wine. He looked at Nessy on the dance floor, and envied her ease in crowds. While they weren't as close as he would liek them to be, he still cared about her, and kept a close eye on her in situations like this.

"Damn, we have a lovely sister, don't we?" He asked slightly sarcastically, knowing the answer was a yes. Turning his attention back to Moshe and the Davenport girl.

Darcy:
Darcy walked over to the table Moshe was getting his alcohol from. Pouring herself a glass of light pink wine, she sipped it as she mused, "You know it's rude to not offer to pour a lady a glass of wine?" She sipped the wine again, giving a small, sly wink.

"So, how's it been, Lex?" She asked, looking over her shoulder at her sisters. Gillian looked horrified, Addie was no where to be seen, and Jerrica looked like she wanted to run over and protect her younger sister. Smiling to her sisters, she looked back to Moshe. "Still as handsome as ever, I see," Darcy flirted with this danger before. 6 years ago, she had come to the edge with him, jumped over it with a kiss and a little more that only the two of them knew of, and still come back without falling. She had proved to her sister and father that she wasn't going to fall any time soon, not like her mother, who had been weak.

Darcy straightened her green dress, sipping the wine again, looking over to Moshe's brothers. "Sage looks like he wants to hit me," Darcy mused to herself.

Adeline was quiet one the ride over, she felt the emotions of her sisters and did try to keep a calm atmosphere around them. As they entered she felt a wave of emotions hit her "What the hell" shethen turned to Darcy who started scolding her. "For one you are not my mother Darcy! So mind your own effin business and for two I planned on changing when we got here, you should know by now I do not like to get dressed up until I am here. Calm your jets Darcy!" she hissed and sent a calming emotion towards Darcy thn she walked off to get changed. Darcy just really pissed her off, she hated being treated like the youngest and what Darcy just did really made her feel like it.

Walkng up to the rooms where they were staying her bags where being carried by someone else and they dropped them down for hwr "Thank you" she said to the man as she shut the door and opened her suitcase and took out her outfit and got dressed. Taking one look in the mirror she touched up her makeup and brushed out her hair then went back out of the room to find her sisters.

When she found them she gave a small smirk to Darcy "See I do.know how to dress myself" she hissed and then looked over the crowd, her eyes then settledon the Blackwoods "Oh lookey whose here" she murmered but her eyes finally landed on the Blackwoods girl. "Holy..." she couldnt finish what she was going to say, her eyes could not stray away from the Blackwoods girl. "Whose the Blackwood girl, do any of you know? she asked her sisters, she opened her mind just a bit trying to get the thoughts of their enemies. "What the heck I cant get their thoughts at all.." she grumbled then headed to the dance floor and started to dance. She was too pissed at Darcy to be around her.

Gillian
Gillian watches on shock as Darcy begins walking directly towards the Blackwood sibling who could easily be considered the most corrupted and vile, hands down. Then again, she had mentioned kissing him back in the car- there existed something prior between the two, unfortunately. Darcy will be fine- she always seems to be, the girl reminds herself with some trace of envy for her elder sister's ability to seemingly keep things together. The band strikes up a new song, from the current era, but with a good tempo- bottom line, it makes the young woman want to dance, though she is also torn with a desire to stay near her siblings (who seem already frayed by the whole event).

Not as selfless as Jerrica, though, when the German boy comes and asks her if she wants to dance, Gillian throws only a look of questioning towards her siblings, before following him onto the dance floor, her mood growing as the song becomes faster. She smiles at the boy, momentarily forgetting nerves of be sisters. She'll berate herself for leaving them after this dance, but not quite yet. Now, she is dancing and happy.

Inessa
Inessa notices the youngest Davenport girl storming away, and smiles with false sympathy, eyes following her movements in an interested manner. "Poor girl, having a spat with her family?" The girl muses softly to herself, a look on her face revealing the scheming taking place behind her chocolate eyes. By the time that Adeline has returned, Inessa has decided that the youngest Davenport girl will be her amusement of the night- no doubt willingly, by the way that she saw the supposed angel survey her.

When Adeline disappeared into the crowd, Inessa waves goodbye to her brothers and follows after her, stopping to rest her hand on the shoulder of one, or kiss another on the cheek, spreading her touch. Soon she is next to Adeline, dancing. "What's cookin' good lookin'?" She asks jokingly.

Adeline was dancing with a Russian girl when she heard someone next to her, her eyes moving to the Blackwood girl. "Well hellow there" she moved so she was now dancing in front of the Blackwood girl, she waved at the Russian girl but her eyes stayed on the girl in front of her. "I do not think I know your name. Though I do have the pleasure of knowing you are Blackwood. I am Addie, would you care to dance?" she looked through the crowd and saw her sisters and knew if they saw her dancing with a Blackwood might displease them but she didnt care at this moment.

She slowly danced around the girl before ending up in front of her once more, she waited to move any closer until the girl agreed to dance. "You are gorgeous I must say...dont think Ive seen a beauty like you in years" she smirked a little. Her emerald eyes gazing in the eyesof the other girl, she felt the emotions of the other girl and couldnt help but smile. Now this is going to be an interesting month she thought to herself.

Sage:

Chuckles at his youngest brother. "I think I'll see what kind of trouble Mosh can get into." He aims a blow to the younger boys arm, but misses. "Ya know.. I'm gonna kill ya for callin me Pudi." He took another sip and continued watching Moshe with great curiousity. "But yes... our sister is as beautiful as ever." He said as he watched her walk away. "Reminds me of mom sometimes...but unlike mom, she dosen't call me Pudi!" He sighed and kept his mask on. "Why don't you go mingle Troll " He said with slight amusement. Though he knew that he himself wouldn't go mingle, he prefered to be away from everyone. He quite enjoyed the single life... though at times he did get lonely. His eyes landed on Jerrica...smiling he remembered calling her Jerri. She was such a beautiful Angel. He sighed thinking about the dancing they had done years ago. He finished his wine and set the glass down. "I think I'm going to mingle." He muttered to Les before walking over to her. He gave a classy bow, ignoring any glares he was getting. "Would you be so kind as to dance with me?" He asked using a slight French accent.

Moshe:

He set his glass down and looked over at Darcy. "Well if it isn't Dart." He said in a amused tone. "I must admit... I didn't expect to see you so soon." He chuckled an held out his hand. "How about a dance?" The light danced in his chocolate brown eyes, as he looked at her. The dangerous smirk was on his face, but it was more of a dare than anything else. "Unless your afraid of falling." He winked meaning that in more ways than one. His eyes never left her, though he could hear Sage flirting with another sister. "Would you be afraid of a little dance?" He paused as he looked her over, "Or is the beautiful Dart afraid of kissing me once more?" He chuckled softly as he remembered their moment years ago.

Inessa
Not to be outdone in the field of smugness, Inessa simply looks over the young Davenport once more, and gives her a look which asks Adeline to amuse her- tells her that she isn't quite interesting enough yet to focus on for more than a dance or two. She tips her red fedora politely, playing the part of a gentleman, but the slight smile on her face holds traces of michief. She watches as the girl, Addie she calls herself, dances around her own figure, although the Davenport's eyes seem to fly every now and then towards the door, where a few of her siblings remained, though not all. Oooh? Is someone trying to rebel? I didn't know that the angelic Davenports did such a thing. Well, it would be unfair of me not to. . .assist her in this quest for independence, Inessa thinks raising an eyebrow with amusement at the girl when she compliments the Blackwood daughter on her appearance, despite the fact that half of her face was concealed by a lovely black mask. "Oh, little ol' me? You can't see it, but I'm blushing," the young woman assures the girl dancing before her with a smirk.

Rather than formally agreeing to dance, she begins to dance with the girl, deciding that actions speak louder than words as she and the Davenport girl move in sync to the music, Inessa's red out making them rather eye-catching, as the majority of people have removed their hats, and most ladies hadn't been wearing them to begin with, actually. The young woman chooses not give her name, however, figuring that Adeline will have figured it out soon enough, given that Inessa is the only daughter of the Blackwood family. Besides, technically lovely Miss Addie had never asked for it- only stated that she was ignorant to what it was. "But your family is quite beautiful in general, aren't they? Well, if you are into the whole 'prim and proper' thing," she adds with a shrug, moving closer to Adeline as she speaks.

Gillian
From where she is dancing, Gillian looks over the shoulder of her partner at the movement of her sisters, who are each going in different directions- although they all seem to be leading to a Blackwood. Although the other siblings have history or a desire to rebel, Gillian simply doesn't want to associate with the Russian family- to some extent, they frighten her, but to another, she feels that keeping her mood up will be difficult in the presence of one of them. Especially as they despise her family as much as hers seems to hate them. Well, as much as she had thought her family hated theirs, but then, ever since the last few balls, the families seem to be weaving closer and closer together, whether by choice or otherwise. It is a web which she, personally, would rather avoid, because even the dreamer in the family can guess how much trouble it would mean. Never being of the confrontational sort, she tends to lean towards things which are easier on her- making it easier to remain happy, with just a bit of effort. The song has yet to end, but the German boy excuses himself because the cellphone in his pocket has begun to ring- leaving Gillian back to her own devices. She begins to walk towards Jerrica, the final sibling who remains separated from the Blackwoods, but is dismayed to watch as someone gets their first, a man whose back is all that she can see. She can almost pick up his voice, which holds traces of a french accent in it, although she can sense something off in it, given that one of her majors in college was French. Not being overly familiar with the Blackwood family, she does not recognise the eldest's voice, and so looks around for something else while her sister is occupied.

She watches Addie dance with a girl in a bright red hat, and can easily identify Moshe, whom Darcy speaks to now, by the combination of his hair and tattoos- with the exception of a few, the Blackwood family who can be distinguished by their style and body ink. Not that other royals do not have tattoos or piercings or long hair, of course- they just aren't quite as present in the mind of a Davenport, typically. Gillian views all of this before beginning to make a decision in her mind- whether to stay through this event, or hide away somewhere, lock herself in a room and find some world or another to fall into. The latter is more tempting, but as she is currently on the 'trying very hard to be cheerful and proper' of her self-improvement cycle, the former seems as though it is the more appropriate thing to do. So Gillian smiles radiantly, still high on a small amount of cheer, and looks around for what to do next. After several minutes, she gives up and searches for a sitting room, praying that it will be empty, and have a bookshelf.

Darcy:
She took his hand. "I'm not afraid of falling," She said confidantly. "You pulled me down once, and I pulled myself back up, Lex. I know I can beat any hold you have on me," Darcy smiled slightly, moving toward the dance floor just as a slow song started. Putting his hands on her hips and hers around his neck, she moved close to him, keeping rythm with the music and moving her body gracefully. While they danced, an old flirtatious flame ingited in her eyes, and she looked up at him, smiling flirtatiously.

"This is one thing I have missed," She said, moving closer until their bodies were touching. Darcy could feel the eyes of the crowd on her and him, but she didn't care. All she cared about at that moment was him, and she hated herself for it. She also hated that so much seperated them, when so many promises had been made in their time together. "So, Lex, you didn't answer me. How have you been?" She murmured huskily, flirting with danger.

Lestat:
Les sighed, finishing his wine and taking another glass, moving to a sitting room away from the noise. Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out a romance novel he had just started reading, glancing up ocassionally as people passed through. As he glanced up as he heard footsteps again, a beautiful girl with dirty blonde hair came in and sat in another chair.

"Dancing not your thing, either?" Les asked, looking up over his book. He could tell she was one of the Davenports, Gillian he thought her name was, but he didn't mind. Quiet company was better than loud company. He pushed his hair out of his face and extended his hand. "Lestat Blackwood, you can call me Les," He said, trying to be polite.

Gillian
It isn't a long search before Gillian is lucky enough to find a sitting room, although it isn't empty, as she would have prefered. Still, a few people exit as she enters, giving her hope that it will be the sort of room that people stop in only briefly, to rest momentarily before heading back out to the dance floor. As long as there isn't a small group of people remaining in the room- she doesn't really like small groups, because the focus falls on anyone in such a setting, and she prefers to be remembered but not focused on- something which is occasionally difficult when one is a Davenport girl. There is one other who sits in the room, but he appears to be reading, his head ducked down to scan the pages, and therefore won't be much of a bother. He is dressed rather strangely as well, although there do seem to be several people at this event who prefered to ignore the formal attire memo- her younger sister among them. This seems to apply mostly to those who are just getting past being the youngest, and perhaps relish seeming as though they don't care. This young man's outfit seems to accentuate the feeling of not caring that others struggle to acheive, though there is some sincerity in its nonchalance. Interesting.

Gillian spots a book, probably left behind by some party-goer, laying on a chair near the young man's. Pleased with her good fortune, Gilliam beams at the inanimate object and walks toward it, picking up the novel before sitting down in the chair which had once supported it. Before she can open it, or really even read the back of this novel, which she does not recognise, surprisingly, the young man whose head had ben obscured looks up and addresses her. The book in his hands, now that she has a better look at it, appears to be a romance novel- somewhat corny, but she does tend to indulge in them as well. "Hm? Oh, well, I love to dance. Just not that sort," Gillian explains quickly, trying to erase the appearance of her not being willing to try out the dance floor, or do the sort of mingling that this event was designed for. Not that she should worry quite so much, but the young woman has always been slightly self-conscious when in small interactions. He extends a hand, and she catches a hint of a colorful tattoo hidden by his clothing, and immediately registers in her mind who he must be, to some extent. His introduction only confirms this as he states that his name is Lestate, but that she can call him Les. A Blackwood, she thinks cautiously, despite the fact that he seems to mean no harm, Well, I'll just be careful, but not rude, she decides, shaking his hand for as brief a time as is acceptable before snapping it back to herself.

"Lestat? As in, Lestat de Lioncourt?"

Adeline watches the Blackwood girl with amusement, in her head she was trying to remember the names of all the Blackwood children because it didnt seem the girl was going to give it right off the back. As they danced closer Addie put her hands on the waist of the girl "Prim and proper isnt my kind of thing...that is my older sisters kind of thing..." she said with a slight gleam in her eye "I like my own taste...Im not quite like my sisters".

They were now as close as they could get, she finally remembered all the names of the Blackwood children, her mask only covering the top part of her face she moved her head to the right side of the girls face, her mouth was close to the girls ear "Inessa you intrigue me...and I never thought I would say that of a Blackwood" she pulled her head away and turned her back to Inessa and pulled the other girls arms around her front. She tried to open her mind once more to see if she could get any thoughts from Inessa but nothing came. Even though she was shorter then the Blackwood girl they seemed to fit together, oh she does hope her father hears about this, she'd love to piss him off even more. Closing her eyes she just let her body dance in sync to the music with Inessa.

Moshe:

He chuckles as he leans forward his forehead pressing against hers. "I've... been good." His body swayed with the music with her in his arms. "I'll be honest... I've missed this as well." He didn't blush but his gaze and smirk softened, she seemed to have a hold over him that he couldn't control. A spark ignited in his eyes, "Are you sure you'll be strong enough to catch yourself from falling this time? Things have changed...but it seems... our feelings haven't." Certainly his feelings haven't changed about her, though he tried not letting it show when he was around his brothers. He looked into her eyes, fierce and flirty was how he saw her. "Dart...I..." He hesitated, not sure what he was going to say next. "Sometimes falling is ok... as long as you have someone there to catch you." he whispered, to himself as he looked away. He felt shy and he didn't understand why.

Darcy:
She leaned back against his forehead, feeling the pleasant heat of his body against hers. "Yes, sometimes falling is okay," She started cautiously, picking her words carefully. Placing her hand on his cheek, she brought his gaze back to hers. "But how do I know you'd catch me if I did fall?" She asked, voice low, serious, quiet. "Moshe, you know how I've felt for you...always...and I...I don't know..." Taking a deep breath, Darcy looked away, laying her head on his chest. Darcy let out a sigh. "Lex, I don't know how to be around you. I have all these...and I don't know," She let out another breath. "I'm making no sense," She murmured to herself. Louder, with her lips on his cheek. "I know how I feel for you, and I know how you feel for me...So let's just disappear," She said, laying a gentle, loving kiss on his cheek.

Lestat:
Les smiled at Gillian, looking at the book. "History of the World by Sir Walter Raleigh, good choice. I've read it twice," He flipped his hair out of his eyes. "So, if we can make you fall, can you raise us up?" He asked, always intreigued by the existance between angels and demons. "I don't ask for me, I much to much enjoy being myself, I ask for...a friend," He smiles, dog-earing the page of the book and setting it on his lap. "What do you know about our co-existance?" He prys.

Inessa
Seems I was right- little Davenport girl is trying to be her own person, Inessa thinks condescendingly, holding no love for the Davenport family which has beaten her own so many times. Especially recently, for though she is rarely told things by her brothers directly, the girl has a bad habit of using her ability to pass through matter for eavesdropping- she knows the minimum of what has gone down between her two eldest brothers and the two elder Daveport daughters. By all means, she has no intent of harboring any affections for the angels, no matter how physically attractive they may happen to be. She doesn't see it as something she must fear, anyway, because her commitment why nature can only increase when faced with someone she was taught to view as an enemy. There are no traces of fondness as she dances with Addie- only amusement and intrigue.

By this point, Adeline seems to have gathered Inessa's name, for she leans in, close enough that her lips nearly brush past the girl's ear, and whispers it. The angel calls Inessa intriguing, and admits that she has never believed that she would think such a thing about a Blackwood. "You'd be surprised how intriguing my family can be- just ask your sister," she murmurs back, gesturing towards Darcy and Moshe with her head, as Sage and Jerrica are out of view. The Davenport girl turns around and places Inessa's hands on her hips as they continue to dance. More like a Victoria's Secret Angel, Inessa decides, ever-amused and, now, further intrigued. She bends her neck slightly to whisper in Addie's ear.

"You dance like a high schooler, sweetheart. Let me guess- you've only been rebelling for a decade or two, yes? Not quite on my family's level yet," she teases her, turning the girl around to face her as the song changes to a slower one. She places her hands on Addie's hips once more and gives her a devilish smirk.

"The thing about dancing, is that you have to know what song is coming next," she informs her, glancing over to see Moshe and Darcy also slow dancing. Despite this advice, she decides to play with the young woman, who is admittedly quite sexy in her rebellion. So, she funnels desire into the girl, though they now remain at an 'appropriate' distance.

Gillian
"I've not," Gillian responds truthfully, looking down to see that the book in her hand is, indeed, that which he says it is. For a moment, she is rather curious about who it is who has left such a book on the chair of the sitting room- one of the mor scholarly royal youths, no doubt. There is an Italian proncess who is a famed mind, her own sister, one or two from other continents, and then. . .well, the boy in front of her, from what she has been told. He goes on to ask a rather philosophical question, about whether angels can redeem demons. And although he assures her it is for a friend, she speculates that he is either lying, or very close to this friend, given his personal tone.

"I suppose that depends. It is far easier to make a mistake than to fix it -no offense- and the redemption of a demon is unheard of," Gillian says in a faraway sort of voice. While Math and science have never been her strong-suits, she reads many types of books- giving her some sense of learning, on top of her own experience. "I suppose that depends on whether people are born innocent, or not, and whether one actually wants to be saved. Someone can accidentally fall, after all, but climbing tends to be deliberate, right?" She muses, half to herself. The young woman has not lived as long as her elder sisters, and so perhaps they would be better equipped to respond.

"But what would be the point of angels, if not to save? Well, I may not know as much as another would. Who is this friend?" she asks, knowing that it is prying but doing so anyway.

Adeline looked at Darcy and Moshe when Inessa motions towards them, she has known about her two older sisters and the two eldest Blackwoods because of her evesdropping in their minds. She was still pissed at Darcy on what happened earlier so she decided to send Darcy a little message through the mind. Opening up her mindonce more, she mentally searches for Darcy and sends her a little message " 'ello Darcy...you know im a bit suprised by you...but the thing is Ive known all about you and Moshe...I wonder what Father will think" after she zent her little message to her older sister she looked over to Darcy and gave her a little wink then focused back on Inessa.

Feeling Inessas.breath against her ear, she heard what she said then was turned around once more "Well yes you are correct, I was once just a shadow of my sisters but once my mother fell my eyes were opened and I decided to do my own thing even thought my family disagrees with my actions. Some say I am the one that will follow my mother but we will see" she murmered and danced along with Inessa.

Hearing what Inessa said next she tilted her head a little "Now how would you know what song would play next unless..." but she stopped talking before she started talking about her abilities. Suddenly she felt a strong desire for Inessa, wanting more of her then she wanted ten seconds ago. They werent as close as they were before so Adeline leaned her head in and brushed her lips against Inessa's cheek "O dont know what has come over me... theres just something about you...and ai want to know you more" she whispered then brought her head back so she could look up at Inessa's eyes once more, one of her hands on the girls shoulder the other on her waist.
