Appearance
Hair:
Inessa's hair is long and dark, layered in such a way that causes it to never be completely tame, and long enough to fall down her back. Although she usually wears down, unkempt and cut so that it becomes thinner towards the bottom, ending in a soft point of sorts, the young Blackwood may also be seen with a sloppy side braid or, in the house, a bun that falls at the base of her neck. It isn't uncommon to see streaks of color in her hair, whether from accessories or temporary hair dye. It is parted at the side, with bangs that follow this pattern. Her bangs are long and usually swept to the side, covering half of her forehead.

Eyes:
The young woman has eyes of brown, though they seem to lighten and darken based upon her mood, directly correlating with whether it is a positive or negative one. They can range from light, caramel brown to an almost black hue of brown. They are framed by thick eyelashes, and a constantly changing, but always vibrant, color of eyeshadow. They are of a medium size and average shape.

Body/Build:
Inessa is average in height, standing at 5'5", and is leanly muscled due to near-constant movement and activity. She has an hourglass figure, but is average in the chest and hips department- overall, a fairly normal build, though she is fairly proud of her almost-abs.

Tattoos/Scars/Piercings:
The youngest Blackwood has no ear piercings, but does have one in her nose, which is usually a stud or a small ring, though the shift between them usually takes a long period of time, because she finds it a pain to switch them around constantly. She also has a few tattoos, such as a small lion on the small of her left shoulder, the Deathly Hallows sign on her shoulder blade, and a bar code on the bottom of her foot. She also has a large, comic-book like tattoo of Wonder Woman on her back.

Supernatural Abilities
Similar to her older brothers, Inessa does have a power which relates to the mental states of humans- it is the ability to manipulate the desires of people. This allows her to take away motivation, inspire lust or envy, drive people to do things they normally wouldn't be taking away their inhibitions, etc. She isn't quite as loose with her abilities as Moshe is, but does like to mess with people in order to amuse herself, or suit her own desires. She cannot directly control a person, however, only strengthen their desire until only the very strongest of people would be able to restrain themselves- it really is up to the power of a person's mind how they withstand her. Normal humans very, very rarely have any power against it, though.

Another ability of the young woman would be the ability to pass through matter as easily as one may walk through the water sprayed from a fountain- she can change her own density and biology to briefly walk through a wall, a person, any item at all, really. When she was younger, Inessa would often accidentally fall through the stairs, or would walk through doors because she didn't feel like opening them for whatever reason. This capability makes it easy for her to eavesdrop on people or escape situations when she begins to dislike the way tables are turning. [Think of the primary ability of Kitty, from Xmen]

Personality
Raised in a family of power, both of the supernatural and social variety, it is only natural that Inessa would have a bit more than a healthy dose of self-confidence. She is the sort of person who acts on instinct, because she is confident enough in her own hunches and beliefs to believe that acting in such a way is the best thing to do. This also leads to an occasionally pushy personality, for while she can understand being refused, she thinks that most people just need a little persuasion and they will quickly see things her way. Along with this arrogance follows a somewhat childish nature, for she acts on impulse and seems to be usually cheerful, even when she isn't. This childishness can be found in her love of amusement and games, and the fact that she doesn't think much about the consequences of using humans as her playthings, though she usually doesn't go so far as to get them killed or anything (Key word: usually). In her mind, there is nothing better than amusement and fun, and doing whatever makes you happy- so she thinks rarely of the heads she steps on to acheive such enjoyment. When one has lived longer than many of those who consider one their peer, they may tend to stop sweating things that they know won't matter in two or three decades.

A princess of sorts, She expects to get what she wants, and when it doesn't come easily, a competitive side is triggered in the young Blackwood which fuels a fierce determination to get what she wants, no matter the means. In fact, she rather loves a good chase, and will often times lose interest in something (or someone) after a short period of time, for it is difficult to find someone as interesting as the family she has grown up with all of her life. Those that are interesting tend to be physically aged, or somewhat grumpy, anyway, and she has little patience for the whining of others. She has little patience in general, actually, and is known to take any shortcut given to reach a destination (metaphorical or otherise). That isn't very odd for someone of her lineage, though, and probably not entirely worth mentioning at all. Even with this spoiled nature, people often find themselves drawn to the girl's constant movement and life, for she has a a charismatic nature that is almost magnetic. People want that confidence, that impulse and power- they want what they don't have the confidence or means to possess, and her family has always had such things- her being no exception.

When in a mood, while the cheerfulness may seem to remain, Inessa's behavior becomes even more erratic, and she will ruin a person's life with a smile on her face, only because seeing someone else hurt makes her somehow feel better. Normally she suppresses it all, however, until comes the time when she can be as malicious with her abilities as her brother, though her power doesn't encompass quite as much as Moshe's does. In such a state of mind, it is best if all but her family avoid her.

History
The youngest in a family of wealth, power, and immortality, Inessa grew up in the lap of luxury, and in a world where anything was possible for her. At first, this was impossibly exciting, until it dawned upon her young mind that, with an eternity possible for her, she needn't sweat the details too much. She has two older brothers, and has always been the baby of the family, doted on by her parents. As soon as she was old enough, by the family's standards, the girl was out on the social scene as her family was, the daughter of the leader of the Soviet Union, destined for great power. She has only lived for a few years over three-quarters of a century, and therefore still enjoys the life of partying and amusement that some older people may have grown bored of, by now. As she watched humans die, the girl became desensitized to their pain to an extent, seeing them mainly as tools for amusement, though she has never gone as far as her elder brother, Moshe. She is even ground, morally, within the family- she sees no reason to atone for the family's deed, as Sage seems to, but does not go around giving people diseases for the fun of it, as Moshe does. Rather, she is content to remove inhibitions, use people to her whim, and constantly be on the chase, for she knows that death of humans is inevitable, and therefore feels no commitment to those who are not of her family. She can often be found at clubs, whether it be simply dancing, or causing such scenes as fights, sudden bouts of unrestrained lust, or a large group of people losing all motivation to do anything but dance until she, not they, are finished.

The problem with mortals? They are so fragile, their existence so fleeting- and therefore, by the time they become interesting at all, they tend to be on their deathbed.

Don't Stop-Innerpartysystem
The road I walk is paved in gold,
To glorify my platinum soul.
I'll buy my way to talk to god
So he can live with what I'm not

The selfish blood runs through my veins
I gave up everything for fame
I am the lie that you adore
I feed the rich, and fuck the poor

I got, you want.
It's just don't stop.
I got, you want.
It just don't stop.
This is entertainment.
Lies are entertainment.
You are down on your knees,
begging me for more.

The road I walk is paved in gold,
To glorify my platinum soul.
I am the closest thing to God,
So worship me and never stop.

The wretched blood runs through my veins
I gave up everything for fame
I am lie that you adore
Now feed the rich, and fuck the poor.

I got, you want.
It just don't stop.
I got, you want.
It just don't stop.
This is entertainment.
Lies are entertainment.
You are down on your knees,
begging me for more.

Dear future, I bought you.
I own the right to let go,
Destroy you. This is my life.

Dear future, I bought you.
I own the right to let go,
Destroy you. This is my life.
(and i...)

I got, you want.
It's just don't stop.
I got, you want.
It just don't stop.
This is entertainment.
Lies are entertainment.
You are down on your knees,
begging me for more.

Begging me for more.
Begging me for more.

Even when she wants to kill them, and even when she runs off for weeks to party and be alone among strangers, she would kill for them, without a second look at the victim. In fact, although usually stubborn to a fault, only her family holds any power of persuasion over the girl.

Wine Red- The Hush Sound
Who shot that arrow in your throat?
Who missed the crimson apple?
It hung heavy on the tree above your head

This chaos, this calamity, this garden once was perfect
Give your immortality to me; I'll set you up against the stars

Gloria,
We lied, we can't go on
This is the time and this is the place to be alive

Who shot that arrow in your throat?
Who missed the crimson apple?
And there is discord in the garden tonight

The sea is wine red
This is the death of beauty
The doves have died
The lovers have lied

I cut the arrow from your neck
Stretched you beneath the tree
Among the roots and baby's breath
I covered us with silver leaves

Gloria,
We lied, we can't go on
This is the time and this is the place to be alive

The sea is wine red
This is the death of beauty
The doves have died
The lovers have lied

The sea is wine red
This is the death of beauty
The doves have died
The lovers have lied

The sea is wine red (Gloria, we lied)
This is the death of beauty (this is the time and place)
The doves have died (Gloria, we lied)
The lovers have lied (this is the time and place)

So begins...

Gillian

While the other girls were collected, the Third Davenport sister sat in the study, dressed and ready to go, with a book in her hand and her hand fiddling the short pearl necklace around her throat. Although the theme of the ball has yet to be announced, she wears the same style that she does for anything with any hint of dancing in it- the trademark full skirts and felt-bottomed shoes of a swing dancer. The only reason that she, normally lacking in the punctuality department, is ready at all would be because someone forced her to prepare half an hour beforehand, knowing that she takes forever to dress, if only because she doesn't care very much about clothing, normally speaking. After all, she had never been one who stressed style too much in her life, unlike Darcy, who adored dressing up. Rather, she would rather spend free time reading a good book or playing a video game than getting dressed- she is simply persuaded into dressing for the event with the hint that maybe, just maybe, the theme will suit her interests this year. Besides, if she didn't dress in a way suitable for the occasion, the young woman may stick out, and she dreads such a thing even more than she dislikes putting outfits together.

At the moment, there is a dazed look in her eye that is tell-tale of the young woman accidentally (as she tends to do when becoming too involved in the subject) projecting herself into the novel again. Not that something like a smack or a loud enough noise wouldn't pull her out of the trance-like state her physical form enters upon the exiting of her astral body, but it does tend to be tedious for the others to drag her out of the state. Despite this, she allows her mental being to fall into the world of the book, which happens to be Jane Eyre at the moment, so that she is standing among the guests during Mr. Rochester's party, able to spy Miss Eyre doing her best in the corner to go unseen. People turn and look at Gillian briefly, but as she had gone into the book earlier in the novel, they do not appear incredibly shocked to see her. Jane Eyre smiles at the Davenport girl, seemingly glad to see the young woman who poses here as a maid, for the character and Gillian have gotten along fairly well, so far.

In the real world, Gillian's eyes stare unseeingly at the page before her, as the words rearrange to match the current scene, including a young woman in heels whose outfit does not fit the maid she pretends to be.

Inessa
A young woman with long, unkempt dark hair stands in her room, a stereo playing whatever band is her current obsession, surveying her outfit in the mirror. Although her tastes generally turn towards bright colors, the girl has gone with black and red for this affair, which will be her first time attending the infamous Royal Ball, a month set aside every three years for the influential youth of the world- it is, essentially, one large match-making event. Although she is well aware of this, and somewhat dislikes the fact that it is created in order to 'find someone' or whatever, Inessa is still anticipating the month in general, hoping to meet a few girls to have some casual fun with, to dance until she collapses, or to at least have some sort of good time, whatever that may entail. A cursory glance at the clock tells her to leave now, and so the young woman throws one last look at herself, makes a stupid face and strikes a ridiculous pose before heading out.

She walks down a hallway, her steps filled with the sort of confidence that identifies someone who has been raised with power, towards the door. A bright red fedora sits on a coat/hat rack directly across from the door, and this headwear she grabs to place ontop of her curly black hair, giving it slightly more of a tamed appearance, although the impact is rather minimal. The other three who would be with her are all off to their own devices, she assumes, though she hasn't exactly spent her time verifying their whereabouts- this family isn't exactly the sort in which the siblings keep tabs on each other, usually speaking. So she walks out to the limo that awaits her without calling out to see if anyone else actually is home, knowing that the chances are incredibly slim that this is the case (although, of course, there lies the possibility that Les remains in the building, but she doesn't really think about it in her generalizations). A chaufer opens the door for Inessa, whose things are already packed in the trunk, presumably along with her brothers', and she slides into the back, staring out the window with music blasting into her ears as the driver starts the car and makes his way towards their destination.

It is only once they have gone some distance that a thought crosses Inessa's mind: I wonder if Les was actually still in the house.

Gillian
Luckily, the young woman had just fallen into the book, and words had only begun to fall off her lips while addressing Miss Eyre, making it easier for Jerrica to pull the third sister out of her enchanted state. Had she been in the book for a longer period of time, it would have taken a good deal more time for this to happen, or at least a tad more effort. For this situation, however, Gillian blinks rapidly until her vision displays Mr. Rochester's home no longer, but the study in which she had begun reading. I did it on accident again. No good- I have places to go, the brunette scolds herself mentally, whilst standing up and placing the book down on the chair with a satin ribbon tucked between the pages to hold her place. After smoothing out her black dress once, and adjusting the petticoat under it which makes for fabulous swing outs, the girl puts on a bright smile (which doesn't take much effort, fortunately, because she does tend to enjoy the months that come every three years- primarily because she is not the sort who is easily rolled into any drama, and therefore may pass them peacefully) and walks out to the car, where Darcy, Adeline and Jerrica await her in the car. She slides in and glances quickly at what her siblings wear, biting her lip slightly at the length of the two older Davenport girls' dresses- especially Jerrica's white ensemble, which is somewhat. . .revealing. Personally, Gillian would never have the confidence to wear such clothing, and has only been seen in anything short when she was wearing, well, shorts. It simply isn't her style, which more fits the vintage look, to be honest. Only Adeline doesn't wear such a short dress, but instead a casual punk outfit- no doubt in order to irritate both Darcy and their parents. Gillian says nothing about it, though, not being the confrontational sort. In fact, she often fears that she isn't any kind of sort.

When Darcy poses a question to them about the arrival of the Blackwoods, Gillian merely shakes her head and smiles, not having the chance to say anything because soon Darcy snaps at Jerri. Even this tiny displeasure makes her tense verys lightly, but the young woman pulls out a smile, determined to be happy tonight. Unlike the elder two, she doesn't have any tension about meeting Blackwoods again- she tends to busy herself enough to not have any sort of interaction with them, thankfully. Soon they have arrived, each with around two suit cases, maybe three, which are taken away by the staff. The music playing, for the moment, is not precisely what Gillian had been hoping for, but it does have a bit of jazz to it, and there is a saxaphone player in the live band, inspiring some hope for the girl's favorite style of dance. She knows that the prince from Germany can lindy, and may have heard something about the boy from Greece, as well. Her good mood is dampened once more, as Darcy begins to scold Adeline, who doesn't look particularly happy about it. Gillian's eyes sweep the ballroom, and settle on a young man who is staring directly at the family and smirking as though he finds it hilarious. What is he looking at? Oh- a Blackwood. Did he-? Suddenly the band strikes up a new song, and the dance floor seems to rearrange itself as new partners are found.

Inessa
The youngest Blackwood arrives a little bit before the Davenports, and by the time the four sisters have arrived, she has disappeared onto the dancefloor, dancing with men and women alike, and messing with the minds of each one who is unfortunate enough to have agreed to, or asked for, a dance. The current victim is a lovely young woman with soft blond hair, who comes from Sweden or some other nordic country of that sort. Inessa's mask and bright red hat distract one from easily guessing who she is, unless they already have a certain level of awareness about each of the various Blackwood siblings. She catches Moshe slipping drugs into one girl's cleavage, and smirks, before turning back to her own young woman. They dance in such a way so that their bodies are close together, and Inessa leans over to whisper something into the girl's ear, prompting the young women to blush scarlet for a moment, before nodding in agreement and glancing over her shoulder at a blond girl whose appearance mirrors her own- her twin sister. "Wouldn't she be lovely to play with, dear?" Inessa suggests wickedly, "She is as beautiful as you- certainly you have had such thoughts before?" By the time the song has ended, the two sisters have mysteriously disappeared together, though Inessa could catch them on the way out, moving closer and closer to each other as though they were trying to mold together.

At that moment she notices the Davenport girls, including the one who appears to be underdressed and, admittedly, incredibly sexy. With another smirk, Inessa moves swiftly through the dancefloor, sliding around couples, dropping a trace of lust here, a desire for blood here, until she is standing next to Sage and Les, who seems to already be cooking up some chaos, based on the expression on his face and the air of tension that hangs above the girl in jeans and her sister, who wears a short dress. "Having fun without me, I see," she accuses him teasingly, though fondness in her voice is minimal- although they do no dislike each other, Les and Inessa have never possessed an incredibly close bond.

Gillian
Gillian watches on shock as Darcy begins walking directly towards the Blackwood sibling who could easily be considered the most corrupted and vile, hands down. Then again, she had mentioned kissing him back in the car- there existed something prior between the two, unfortunately. Darcy will be fine- she always seems to be, the girl reminds herself with some trace of envy for her elder sister's ability to seemingly keep things together. The band strikes up a new song, from the current era, but with a good tempo- bottom line, it makes the young woman want to dance, though she is also torn with a desire to stay near her siblings (who seem already frayed by the whole event).

Not as selfless as Jerrica, though, when the German boy comes and asks her if she wants to dance, Gillian throws only a look of questioning towards her siblings, before following him onto the dance floor, her mood growing as the song becomes faster. She smiles at the boy, momentarily forgetting nerves of be sisters. She'll berate herself for leaving them after this dance, but not quite yet. Now, she is dancing and happy.

Inessa
Inessa notices the youngest Davenport girl storming away, and smiles with false sympathy, eyes following her movements in an interested manner. "Poor girl, having a spat with her family?" The girl muses softly to herself, a look on her face revealing the scheming taking place behind her chocolate eyes. By the time that Adeline has returned, Inessa has decided that the youngest Davenport girl will be her amusement of the night- no doubt willingly, by the way that she saw the supposed angel survey her.

When Adeline disappeared into the crowd, Inessa waves goodbye to her brothers and follows after her, stopping to rest her hand on the shoulder of one, or kiss another on the cheek, spreading her touch. Soon she is next to Adeline, dancing. "What's cookin' good lookin'?" She asks jokingly.

Inessa
Not to be outdone in the field of smugness, Inessa simply looks over the young Davenport once more, and gives her a look which asks Adeline to amuse her- tells her that she isn't quite interesting enough yet to focus on for more than a dance or two. She tips her red fedora politely, playing the part of a gentleman, but the slight smile on her face holds traces of michief. She watches as the girl, Addie she calls herself, dances around her own figure, although the Davenport's eyes seem to fly every now and then towards the door, where a few of her siblings remained, though not all. Oooh? Is someone trying to rebel? I didn't know that the angelic Davenports did such a thing. Well, it would be unfair of me not to. . .assist her in this quest for independence, Inessa thinks raising an eyebrow with amusement at the girl when she compliments the Blackwood daughter on her appearance, despite the fact that half of her face was concealed by a lovely black mask. "Oh, little ol' me? You can't see it, but I'm blushing," the young woman assures the girl dancing before her with a smirk.

Rather than formally agreeing to dance, she begins to dance with the girl, deciding that actions speak louder than words as she and the Davenport girl move in sync to the music, Inessa's red out making them rather eye-catching, as the majority of people have removed their hats, and most ladies hadn't been wearing them to begin with, actually. The young woman chooses not give her name, however, figuring that Adeline will have figured it out soon enough, given that Inessa is the only daughter of the Blackwood family. Besides, technically lovely Miss Addie had never asked for it- only stated that she was ignorant to what it was. "But your family is quite beautiful in general, aren't they? Well, if you are into the whole 'prim and proper' thing," she adds with a shrug, moving closer to Adeline as she speaks.

Gillian
From where she is dancing, Gillian looks over the shoulder of her partner at the movement of her sisters, who are each going in different directions- although they all seem to be leading to a Blackwood. Although the other siblings have history or a desire to rebel, Gillian simply doesn't want to associate with the Russian family- to some extent, they frighten her, but to another, she feels that keeping her mood up will be difficult in the presence of one of them. Especially as they despise her family as much as hers seems to hate them. Well, as much as she had thought her family hated theirs, but then, ever since the last few balls, the families seem to be weaving closer and closer together, whether by choice or otherwise. It is a web which she, personally, would rather avoid, because even the dreamer in the family can guess how much trouble it would mean. Never being of the confrontational sort, she tends to lean towards things which are easier on her- making it easier to remain happy, with just a bit of effort. The song has yet to end, but the German boy excuses himself because the cellphone in his pocket has begun to ring- leaving Gillian back to her own devices. She begins to walk towards Jerrica, the final sibling who remains separated from the Blackwoods, but is dismayed to watch as someone gets their first, a man whose back is all that she can see. She can almost pick up his voice, which holds traces of a french accent in it, although she can sense something off in it, given that one of her majors in college was French. Not being overly familiar with the Blackwood family, she does not recognise the eldest's voice, and so looks around for something else while her sister is occupied.

She watches Addie dance with a girl in a bright red hat, and can easily identify Moshe, whom Darcy speaks to now, by the combination of his hair and tattoos- with the exception of a few, the Blackwood family who can be distinguished by their style and body ink. Not that other royals do not have tattoos or piercings or long hair, of course- they just aren't quite as present in the mind of a Davenport, typically. Gillian views all of this before beginning to make a decision in her mind- whether to stay through this event, or hide away somewhere, lock herself in a room and find some world or another to fall into. The latter is more tempting, but as she is currently on the 'trying very hard to be cheerful and proper' of her self-improvement cycle, the former seems as though it is the more appropriate thing to do. So Gillian smiles radiantly, still high on a small amount of cheer, and looks around for what to do next. After several minutes, she gives up and searches for a sitting room, praying that it will be empty, and have a bookshelf.

Adeline watches the Blackwood girl with amusement, in her head she was trying to remember the names of all the Blackwood children because it didnt seem the girl was going to give it right off the back. As they danced closer Addie put her hands on the waist of the girl "Prim and proper isnt my kind of thing...that is my older sisters kind of thing..." she said with a slight gleam in her eye "I like my own taste...Im not quite like my sisters".

They were now as close as they could get, she finally remembered all the names of the Blackwood children, her mask only covering the top part of her face she moved her head to the right side of the girls face, her mouth was close to the girls ear "Inessa you intrigue me...and I never thought I would say that of a Blackwood" she pulled her head away and turned her back to Inessa and pulled the other girls arms around her front. She tried to open her mind once more to see if she could get any thoughts from Inessa but nothing came. Even though she was shorter then the Blackwood girl they seemed to fit together, oh she does hope her father hears about this, she'd love to piss him off even more. Closing her eyes she just let her body dance in sync to the music with Inessa.

Inessa
Seems I was right- little Davenport girl is trying to be her own person, Inessa thinks condescendingly, holding no love for the Davenport family which has beaten her own so many times. Especially recently, for though she is rarely told things by her brothers directly, the girl has a bad habit of using her ability to pass through matter for eavesdropping- she knows the minimum of what has gone down between her two eldest brothers and the two elder Daveport daughters. By all means, she has no intent of harboring any affections for the angels, no matter how physically attractive they may happen to be. She doesn't see it as something she must fear, anyway, because her commitment why nature can only increase when faced with someone she was taught to view as an enemy. There are no traces of fondness as she dances with Addie- only amusement and intrigue.

By this point, Adeline seems to have gathered Inessa's name, for she leans in, close enough that her lips nearly brush past the girl's ear, and whispers it. The angel calls Inessa intriguing, and admits that she has never believed that she would think such a thing about a Blackwood. "You'd be surprised how intriguing my family can be- just ask your sister," she murmurs back, gesturing towards Darcy and Moshe with her head, as Sage and Jerrica are out of view. The Davenport girl turns around and places Inessa's hands on her hips as they continue to dance. More like a Victoria's Secret Angel, Inessa decides, ever-amused and, now, further intrigued. She bends her neck slightly to whisper in Addie's ear.

"You dance like a high schooler, sweetheart. Let me guess- you've only been rebelling for a decade or two, yes? Not quite on my family's level yet," she teases her, turning the girl around to face her as the song changes to a slower one. She places her hands on Addie's hips once more and gives her a devilish smirk.

"The thing about dancing, is that you have to know what song is coming next," she informs her, glancing over to see Moshe and Darcy also slow dancing. Despite this advice, she decides to play with the young woman, who is admittedly quite sexy in her rebellion. So, she funnels desire into the girl, though they now remain at an 'appropriate' distance.

Gillian
"I've not," Gillian responds truthfully, looking down to see that the book in her hand is, indeed, that which he says it is. For a moment, she is rather curious about who it is who has left such a book on the chair of the sitting room- one of the mor scholarly royal youths, no doubt. There is an Italian proncess who is a famed mind, her own sister, one or two from other continents, and then. . .well, the boy in front of her, from what she has been told. He goes on to ask a rather philosophical question, about whether angels can redeem demons. And although he assures her it is for a friend, she speculates that he is either lying, or very close to this friend, given his personal tone.

"I suppose that depends. It is far easier to make a mistake than to fix it -no offense- and the redemption of a demon is unheard of," Gillian says in a faraway sort of voice. While Math and science have never been her strong-suits, she reads many types of books- giving her some sense of learning, on top of her own experience. "I suppose that depends on whether people are born innocent, or not, and whether one actually wants to be saved. Someone can accidentally fall, after all, but climbing tends to be deliberate, right?" She muses, half to herself. The young woman has not lived as long as her elder sisters, and so perhaps they would be better equipped to respond.

"But what would be the point of angels, if not to save? Well, I may not know as much as another would. Who is this friend?" she asks, knowing that it is prying but doing so anyway.

Adeline looked at Darcy and Moshe when Inessa motions towards them, she has known about her two older sisters and the two eldest Blackwoods because of her evesdropping in their minds. She was still pissed at Darcy on what happened earlier so she decided to send Darcy a little message through the mind. Opening up her mindonce more, she mentally searches for Darcy and sends her a little message " 'ello Darcy...you know im a bit suprised by you...but the thing is Ive known all about you and Moshe...I wonder what Father will think" after she zent her little message to her older sister she looked over to Darcy and gave her a little wink then focused back on Inessa.

Feeling Inessas.breath against her ear, she heard what she said then was turned around once more "Well yes you are correct, I was once just a shadow of my sisters but once my mother fell my eyes were opened and I decided to do my own thing even thought my family disagrees with my actions. Some say I am the one that will follow my mother but we will see" she murmered and danced along with Inessa.

Hearing what Inessa said next she tilted her head a little "Now how would you know what song would play next unless..." but she stopped talking before she started talking about her abilities. Suddenly she felt a strong desire for Inessa, wanting more of her then she wanted ten seconds ago. They werent as close as they were before so Adeline leaned her head in and brushed her lips against Inessa's cheek "O dont know what has come over me... theres just something about you...and ai want to know you more" she whispered then brought her head back so she could look up at Inessa's eyes once more, one of her hands on the girls shoulder the other on her waist.

Inessa
Inessa raises an eyebrow at the Davenport girl when she turns and throws a wink at her elder sister, the one who currently seems to be occupied with Moshe, who is perhaps the most wild of the Blackwood siblings, and yet has a shy expression which does not suit him at all. It nearly sends shivers down her spine, seeing the second Blackwood child with such a look on his face, and Inessa cannot help but be filled with an inexplicable concern that the nearness of an angel is causing this behavior- or rather, his nearness to a specific angel with whom he has a past. Only when Addie has begun to speak once more does the dark-haired young woman look back at the angel before her, frowning momentarily as she assures herself that Moshe is simply strange. He'll return to his normal self eventually. As though some little angels could make us, the Blackwoods, act in such a way for a longer period of time than the initial moments, she thinks, silently resolving that she will distance herself from the interesting rebel before her, should things get too far. This should be of no concern to her, who naturally distances herself from things once they have grown too close for her taste.

"Follow your mother? Wouldn't that be interesting," Inessa responds, her bemused smirk resurfacing as she looks at the young woman before her, who stops midsentence and begins to stare at the Blackwood daughter with a new sort of intensity. This only leads to the smirk becoming more smug, for the effectiveness of her power on the angel serves to give Inessa the sense of control which she constantly craves. Soon the Davenport girl's lips brush past her own pale cheeks as she murmurs in her ear, the two growing close enough together that they might as well be laying ontop of eachother at this point, though they only sway to the song for the moment. When Addie voices her desire to know Inessa better, the sense of control only increases, although it is paired with a sort of satisfaction that exceeds the normal level when she has gained control over another. Of course, this is probably due to the fact that it is an angel, not a human, who has been affected by her power.

"The feeling is mutual, darling," she whispers mimicking Addie's previous proximity before spinning the girl out and bringing her back in to a dip that doesn't really match the current speed of the music. With the girl supported by her arms for that moment, Inessa is tempted to steal a kiss- and wouldn't that infuriate the Davenports a bit, to know that their youngest child had not only kissed a Blackwood, but the daughter as well? As she has no restraints, no need to stay away from the Davenports, and holds a rather strong desire to mess with the girl before her as thoroughly as possible, Inessa leans in so that her lips just brush past Addie's as she speaks, "But perhaps actions speak louder than words," with that smirk still on her face. She brings Addie back up and spins her back into their initial position, Inessa's eyes glittering with humor.

Feeling Inessa so close, Adeline cant help but want more What is this girl doing to me she thinks to herself. She feels herself being spun then brough down into a dip, fully supported by the girl before her. A brush of lips against her own sends a slight shiver against her as she hears Inessa speak. When she was spun again and brought back to the closeness of the blackwood girl, she brings her hands up to Inessa's back and slightly plays with the other girls hair. "I dont know what you are doing to me...but I like it" A slight smirk comes across her face and she leans in, brushing her own lips against Inessa's, holding the kiss slightly longer then leans back "This is going to be an inyeresting month."

Looking over Inessa's shoulder she sees her older sister Jerri now dancing with the eldest blackwood. Well this is quite interesting...seems we all are attracted to the Blackwoods she thought to herself. She kept dancing slowly with Inessa, she couldnt help but want more of this girl and she couldnt help but smile knowing her Father was going to be outraged with how not only is she with a Blackwood but she was with the Blackwood Daughter. "I do have to ask...why is a Blackwood interested in a Davenport girl. Hoping I would fall, is this what each of you are doing" she asked looking up at Inessa then motioning to their eldest siblings. "Because hun, I never thought id have feelings for Blackwood let alone dancing with one, tell me the truth, I wont be mad" she says as she brings her hand to Inessa's cheek and slowly caresses it "Because like I said earlier I want to get to know you more...you interest me".

Inessa
The dark-haired young woman meets the kiss easily, a thing she has done millions of times before in her lifespan, and will likely do a million times more before growing bored of the action. She can feel Addie messing with the ends of her unkempts black hair, which seem to wave in every direction imaginable, yet remain uncurly nonetheless. The kiss ends after a brief moment, so that the pair of elites are looking at eachother while the Davenport girl murmurs about anticipating this being an interesting month. In response to Addie saying that she likes what Inessa is doing to her, the Blackwood smirks and gives her a teasing wink, "People usually do, sweetheart."

Inessa doesn't have to look to know what it is that Addie is looking at over her own slender shoulders- she saw it for a fleeting second during a spin: her eldest brother dancing with the eldest Davenport girl. This is far less concerning to her, for Sage has always been the most calm of the family, and the biggest softie, as well, hands down. Besides, for now she is focusing on the girl before her, though in the corner of her eye she sees the blond twins from before coming out from some hallway, looking disheveled and flushed, their lips the tell-tale swollen of kissing. The sight of them makes her feel like frowning and grinning at the same time- she feels smug about how easily manipulated humans are, yet disappointed at the same time. It can be rather boring, after all, when humans die faster, can consume less drugs, cannot dance as long, etc. Even though many humans are still her elders, she can't help but recognise their existence as wretchedly fleeting.

These thoughts are interrupted as Addie speaks once more, asking as to why Inessa is interested in, as she describes herself, a 'Davenport girl'. Admittedly, making one of them fall would be rather rewarding, mentally at least, for the Davenports seem to constantly be one-upping her own family. However, though she holds no fondness for the family, that isn't really her intent. After all, if the Davenports all fell, who would be left to dislike? Everyone needs a rival, and the angels are that of the Blackwood family, no doubt about it. Before Inessa gives her response, Addie has her hand on the girl's cheek, and is saying something about wanting to know her more. Inwardly Inessa rolls her eyes, knowing that this is mostly the desire she sent to coarse through the young woman's veins. People touching her isn't really something that the young woman is unfamiliar with, either, but she can't help but feel as though the girl's hand will turn to some sort of holy acid, which may come to burn through the demon's skin.

"Why? You Davenports are rather interesting- humans can only give so much satisfaction. Besides, it's the whole opposite thing- isn't it kind of sexy?" Inessa asks, raising her eyebrows and sweeping a strand of hair out of Addie's eyes. The song is nearing its end, she knows, but what the Blackwood girl will do when that happens has yet to be decided- she rarely plans things ahead, anyway. Inessa smirks at a thought that comes into her head, and immediately murmurs it.

"Besides- I've heard a rumor that angels are wickedly good in bed," she says suggestively.

Inessa

"Oh? How. . .open-minded of you," Inessa murmurs back, eyebrows arched beneath her mask as she teases the young Davenport girl before her. "I believe your siblings must agree with you- is it really rebellion if everyone else is doing it, sweetheart?" She goes on mockingly, not really the type who can remain sincere for very long. One cannot speak to the Blackwood girl without being mocked a few times here and there- it is simply in her nature to insult while she flirts. Adeline's response to her comment about angels in bed is both disappointing and intriguing, though she does want to know if it is true or not, despite not having actually heard the rumor before. Besides, if angels are good in bed, this one looks like she'd be especially excellent at it, with all of her fire and contradictions and, in Inessa's eyes, efforts to compensate for the fact that her family has a goody-two-shoes reputation.

"Aw. I'm not very patient though, you know. Why don't you just let me find out tonight?" The demon responds flirtatiously, the two remaining locked together while the rest of the dance floor moves for new partners, new spots and new dances. Adeline goes on to suggest that they go out for a drink, which happens to be exactly the thing that Inessa had in mind for that precise moment. A drink sounds perfect, and she is somewhat pleased that the girl drinks- with the reputation the Davenports have, she'd expect even the one going through a rebellious phase to be sober. A happy surprise indeed. "You are hot, aren't you?" Inessa says, looking the girl up and down and grabbing her hand with her own pale fingers before leading her off to find the bar, which is located on the pavilion just outside of the dancing area. The night is breezy and clear, with stars that seem countless and impossibly radiant. Inessa orders herself the strongest drink that they have, and glances over at Adeline expectantly, waiting for her to place an order.
