Introduction

It all happens for some sort of reason. . . Right? Many things happen in our life, some things are amazing, beautiful and perfect. These things help us push through whenever the bad things come. Sometimes there will be a certain person in our life that will shoulder us and our evils. Whatever your story. . . You've reached this point in your life, do you have darkness in your heart? How close are you to being consumed by the eternal night?

Your soul is in a choke hold, you're quite close to becoming what everyone fears most. An honest evil. Everyone has a shadow correct? The shadow is alive. You walk side-by-side with a demon your entire life. Think back to those fun days of childhood with the cartoonish shoulder-devil and angel. Imagine this, the angel is one option, the devil the other, pretty obvious right? Okay, here's where that story twists. Your shadow whispers to you in your sleep, it's what grants you dreams, it also gives you nightmares. Now, if you listen to the whispers and do as it says. . . It gains power over you. It then perverts your white soul, fraying the balance within you. Imagine you're falling farther and farther and no one can save you once you fall. You teeter on the edge now. You still have a chance to regain your balance.

Once you give in the darkness will suffocate the old you allowing the shadows to take over you and to control you. Allow further explanation. At birth you are pure and innocent, no evil dares to touch you, why? Because you don't have a shadow yet. The moment you cast a shadow the monster within you stirs. The longer you ignore the fact that the world's darkest evil resides within you, the stronger the beast becomes. It grows in power each day, then it whispers to you about darkness and sin and hate. The day you begin to hear the voice of your evil is the day your transformation begins. Your shadow wants to consume you, the bad deeds you commit shove you closer to the edge. If you try and escape once you are so close. . . Your shadow will devour you completely. You may also notice slight changes in yourself. You may not recall things far back in the past, your eyes may change color, small things. Then you become very angry, or sad, or cruel. It depends on the person. No one wants to be around you and you convince yourself you don't need anyone. In reality, you need someone to bring you out of your darkness. You need help.

Once you begin the transition into becoming a shadow-being, a Shēdo, it won't stop. You will forever be in a life or death struggle with the corruption within your very heart. There are five stages in the transformation.

1.Not much happens, anger and slight physical changes, easily reversed!
2.More obvious changes and mood-swings, more prone to violence but still reversible.
3.Full change, starts seeing and hearing things that aren't there, still fairly sane, difficult to reverse.
4.Extremely violent and easily angered, or shows signs of true hatred and darkness. Increased physical and mental ability, also hints at insanity. Hard to reverse.
5.Cannibalistic tendencies, full-blown insanity, they feel pain at all times because their bodies can't handle the power granted to them by the Shēdo, the power they gain ranges depending on their Shēdo. Seemingly impossible to reverse.

Alone in the world, left without a trace you have been shunned, no matter what your grievous crime was, you all gather in a town a place for monsters like you. Many others have completed their transformation within the high stone walls of this place, none as of yet have suppressed their evils. The worst part of this is. . . It turns you insane, then it strips away reason until you become a cannibal, longing to just destroy. The people who made the prison you are sent to know, they have seen it hundreds of times. Once you all turn they come in and eliminate you from existence and anyone else with you who might tell of the horrors hey had witnessed.

As we tune in, you've all just gathered in the Prison-town of Hyukshonen, you are all gifted a home, and a friend. The friend is to make the transition easier, well their true job is to stop the transformation but they usually just end up being food. That being said, the Friends have been genetically modified in a lab out in Mochijima to be better suited to handle the Afflicted. You may do whatever you wish in the town, you are not allowed to leave. Ever. In fact Hyukshonen happens to be a giant stone dome, one way in, no way out. The dome is the size of a medium city, there are many things to occupy yourself with. . .

1.RESERVE|| All reservations are to be made in the OOC, now FC's are provided, however I am very lax and chill about it so if you have a vision then put with your reservation a different FC if you want to change it. I don't care, just provide a gif! ˚✧₊⁎❝᷀ົཽ≀ˍ̮ ❝᷀ົཽ⁎⁺˳✧༚First part of the password is your favorite genre of media.

2.COMMIT|| I'd appreciate it if you can commit to my roleplay, I didn't make it so it could be joined and then ditched... Try and post once a week at least por favor? If you are going to be gone PM me or OOC it up letting us know! (人*´∪`)♪тнайк　чоц♪(´∪`*人)

3.LITERACY|| Alright, I know when this crops up people go "NOPE" but listen . . . If it was your roleplay. . . Would you like decent length posts? Or one-liners? Mhm, that's what I thought... So! MINIMUM length is 300+ words. PLEASE no shorter than 300 (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ Thank you.. Second part of your password Hex color. Provide Speech and Thought colors.

4.DECENCY|| *Ahem* no sex posts. . . (╯°Д°）╯︵/(.□ . ) I will throw you. There are kids on this site, if you wish to delve into that much detail over the intercourse between two characters take it to PM, but in my posting section if it gets steamy, fade to black pretty please and thank you.

6.ROLES|| Okay! So once you reserve a role that doesn't mean you just have it, nah, people can compete for a role if the feeling so stirs you. So, keep that in mind if it fills up but you really wanted a role you can compete as long as the other person hasn't already been given the role on the homepage. I.E You see this "||Taken by ____" that means it's no longer available, but if it says. . . "||Reserved" You can compete! *trumpets* ✧.*◝(•❝͋꒳❝͋•)◟*·✧
