Description

Image

Rosaria Surprel
[Rose, Roslyn]

Resides:
Afukira, the desert region

Race:
Demon: Succubus

Age:
She is a newly born Succubus.
On the coming of her soon-to-be twentieth year, she will physically quit aging.

Gender:
Female

Height:
5'6

Weight:
125 lbs

Hair:
Sandy Blonde

Eyes:
Blue

Appearance:
Wears thin button-down shirts, denim shorts, and old leather boots.
Often seen wearing scarfs and jackets, especially in the harsh winter.

Sexuality:
Team Manly

About:
Rose is a typical Succubus demon, which explains why many of her so-called friends are men. She sleeps around, but she also draws energy from each victim. Because of her many lovers, the number of men she exhausts or murders is very quite low. Her preference is men who believe in a higher power, demonic or "heavenly." She uses dark magic as she pleases and can summon lesser demons (but not conjure them into existence). Yet, she is always on her toes in case another demon comes around. She can sense it, but she cannot sense how powerful the other is.

Personality:
Rose is very emotional. She gets hurt easily if something is taken the wrong way. She wants to be needed, but everyone only wants her for sexual pleasure. In turn, she needs the sexual pleasure and wants to give someone her heart. She is scared, at the same time, to tell someone (anyone) what she is, because she knows they'd turn from her. Rose is seductive, though. She looks and acts innocent, but she has a vast knowledge of pleasing and more experience than a professional slut.

Equipment:
Needing nothing but her dark magic and her hands, Rose is set.

History:
Rose was born and raised in Afukira. Her parents gave her up for adoption and she ended up being raised by a fairly nice set of aging cat-people. She began understanding what exactly she was when she was hitting puberty, hormones raging out of control. She began studying her symptoms and comparing them to her readings. At first she was excited about the powers, but when the sexual needs chimed in, she began growing tiresome of the precautions she needed to take: using more than five people, feeding literally as little times as possible throughout the week, never getting attached.
With her body, she was easily hired in a dancing bar. When Rose came to the age of seventeen, her host-parents moved away to a distant land Rose had never been to.

Extra:
Rose's best friend is Gerune, a dun stallion, that lives near her in the wild.
Also, she lives in a house built in stone. It isn't completely modern, but she loves it. She loves the way she lives and the freedom that comes with it. The house is explained in the third post of the roleplay.

On the outskirts of town in the center of Afukira, a house easily unnoticeable sat lodged into the rock. In fact, the house itself was carved into the rock. A most magnificent landscaper's creation, truth be told. The house Rosaria's adoptive parents owned was the same one they bought when they decided they'd take in the little girl. After they left, she never opened the master bedroom. She never needed it. She hardly needed her own room, which she only used to place clothes and artifacts. The house had three rooms, a kitchen area with a fire pit instead of an oven or modern microwave, an outhouse down a certain hall that wouldn't make the house smell.
As for water, it was a good little ways to the nearest river. To get there, Rose would ride on her one and only true friend, Gerune. Gerune was a stallion who, though he might not live in a stable, always stayed nearby Rose's dwelling and came to her call. Rose would never dare to call him hers, but she knew their relationship was a trusty one. She made a large water bin for Gerune and a feet bucket outside of the house and in the cool shade of the rock formations. Soon, Rose hardly ever walked into town.

It was in this house that Rose awoke like most other days. It was dark and musty, but the coals were still bright from last night's fire. Rose lifted herself off the hammock she managed to set from one wall to another near the corner. Directly across from her was all the different cabinets that held preserved food drink, and aging homemade wines. Rose walked to the front door and pushed it open lightly but kept her eyes turned towards the darkness. Her eyes adjusted quickly, though. After she separated the coals so they'd die out, she changed out of yesterday's clothes.
Rose took a loaf of bread and butter from the cabinet and placed it in her bag along with a small cloth. Once ready for departure, Rose walked out the door and closed it. Above the sun blared, but it felt good on her skin. She whistled a high melody and saw Gerune bolt from across the desert. To announce his arrival and greet Rose, he whinnied greatly. A tingle jolted up Rose's spine as she felt an immense happiness and trust in this horse. Smiling faintly as Gerune trotted up to her, she lifted up her bag and shook it. "Geru!" She said joyfully to her companion. He snorted, knowing they'd be going out for an adventure. Maybe it would be for an afternoon, maybe for a day or a week. He was constantly ready.
The only thing on Rose's mind, however, was a nice rinse down at the river. Maybe she'd play with Gerune? She laughed as she mounted and set off south.

Reaching the river maybe an hour or two before noon, Rosaria and Gerune splashed and played in the wondrous feel of clear water. Stripping herself of her clothes and Gerune of the saddlebag-like items, Rosaria cleansed herself. It was odd to think that someone so cruel as she could still feel peace and serenity. When Rose was no longer reeking of filth, she sat in the water and daydreamed about the good old day with the cat-folk that raised her. It was easy back then. She couldn't remember every detail about the time before her powers began to come in, but she did know for a fact that they loved her more than any parent loved their child anywhere. Or at least to her, it seemed to be so.
Taking a moment to breathe deep and have a good look around, Rose could see villages and towns in almost every direction as well as a few shrubs here and there. She knew the main city was north-western to her location (closer to her dwelling), but she had never quite been there. She had never traveled to another region in Daughtris, actually. I would love to see grass, she thought, and trees, and bushes, and life! The world! With a strong sense of loneliness, she was reminded that she was completely by herself. Which meant...which meant she could do anything she damn well pleased. Rose saddled Gerune back up, intending to ride out of this forsaken desert on an adventure her spirit so longed for.
She made a mental note to ride into a village soon to "feed." She hadn't in two days and could feel her skin sagging, bones weakening, and eyes fading. She was as attractive as ever, but she knew she'd die if she did not cast herself upon someone. As for doing such a thing to someone in their dreams, she's never fully learned how. She can appear in a dream, but her self-training stopped there. In a dream, it was like she was a ghost.
Gerune reared with energy, ready to set off, and Rosaria's thighs and knees tightened around him. In seconds flat, they were cantering across the desert, fully clothed and heading towards the direction of Lightwake.

To Rosaria, it felt like minutes when she arrived at a little village south-western of her home. It wasn't the direction she intended to go, but she could at least find a place to rest, feed, and maybe eat actual food. As she rode up to the village, she slowed her pace so as not to appear gallivanting into an unknown area. She was being stupid to leave her house and try to travel outside of Afukira, anyways. Not to mention the only creatures she'd ever come to contact with are those from Afukira alone and perhaps a traveler or two. Though her cat-folk told her many stories of the world of Daughtris, Rose had always wanted to experience it for herself. It never dawned on her before now that she could do anything she wanted, living alone.
Gerune strode into the village merrily, greeting other horses with snorts and whinnies. Rose dismounted outside of a small stables that was nearly invisible and tied Gerune up. She didn't know if it cost anything to do so, but she did it anyways. Not many people, she would assume, would be pleased with a newcomer if a newcomer brought a stinky, sweaty, troublesome horse into town. Where to go first? Rose marveled. It was still pretty much desert, but Rose knew if she traveled directly south or south-east, she'd find her way into Lightwake, to a place where the ground you walk on lives and breathes.
She was given many strange looks as she walked, but she wanted to see how other people lived. One could say she is a girl for culture. She smiled at people who stared at her, dazzling them. As she traveled maybe two blocks, someone finally confronted her. Mind, it wasn't very nice, but it would do. "Who're you?" Said a one-handed man.
Rose didn't let the man frighten her. With her hand extended to his good arm, she said proudly, "Name's Rosaria. Who might you be?"

"Nice to meet you, Rosaria. My name is Tsul" The one-handed man greeted and gave his name to Rosaria. "What brings you to this small village between two regions?" He questioned with a smile, curious.

"To be quite honest," Rose said to Tsul, "I don't know what I'm here for. Me and Gerune figured we'd set off on an adventure. I have nothing better to do than to ride around Daughtris. Recommend any places?" Conversation didn't take a long time before Rose was shown a new, modified map of Daughtris and was given a place to stay for the night. She had a little fortune, so she could still pay for food and shelter, but she knew she'd be better off finding jobs here and there as she would travel. If it become too much, she would go home. And, of course, she wouldn't treat herself to pre-made foods and living spaces.
In the morning, she left a tip and set off with Gerune once more, making sure she left money in the stables for the hay that was given to Gerune. Flighty, Gerune took off. This time, around mid-day, the pair ended up by the beach and traveled east from there, finding their way into Lightwake.

Minutes passed mid-afternoon, Rose had entered the center of Lightwake and walked Gerune into the city. It was an odd place to see. For starters, the city was in mid-air as well as on the ground, which did Rose only partial good. There were many stores to look at, but it was more modern than Rose had ever experienced. She decided that she would later walk Gerune back to the fruitful fields outside of the city and set him back to freedom. He wouldn't go too far, of course, and would wait for her until she returned, but until then she'd walk him where she pleased. No one minded it so far, but they did give her odd looks. She was also growing weaker...she'd need to feed soon. Just as she was reminded of this, she looked ahead and saw a bar packed with drinking men.
Appetizing, she cooed to herself. She felt a form of power radiating from good few of them. Of course, many people in Daughtris used either Mana or Ki, but as Rose didn't know which she possessed, if any. From her parents' descriptions, she believed her powers were controlled by Mana, or Dark Mana if such a thing existed. She could summon lesser demons, if she chose. Being a Succubus, she found she could do many things. But right now...
A burst of estrogen working through her system. She tied up outside to a ring that happened to be on the side of the building and walked in. At first glance, she noticed she was the only woman in the bar. She side-stepped the crowd and made her way to the bartender. With a look of surprise, the bartender handed her a malt whiskey and she made light conversation.

Duskbreak is an average sized bar in the 23rd street in downtown Feather City. The fragrance of varieties type of drinks filled the room. Bottles of branded wines are displayed on the shelf behind the bartender, a small eyed, white skinned, black hair and iris with fresh pink lips male. The day was going on as usual. People are drinking, talking, coming and going as they wish. Shin Hyuk Ji was cleaning the glasses using a clean dry rag when a young woman asked for a malt whiskey. He turned around to and poured some in the glass and served it on the counter in front of the young woman.

“I haven’t seen you around here before” He started a conversation before starting to clean the glasses once more. “Are you new here?”

"Duskbreak in 23rd street..."Ella whispered to herself. She has heard about the bar Trish was talking about, but she has never been in it. She wished he was more specific about the time. 'A few hours' meant that one of them may go there and wait for the other for long. From the other side, she didn't have anything better to do, so she could just go in the bar and somehow kill time there. However, Ella didn't have any money to buy a beverage. As she knew, this was frowned upon in the bars.

Ella had an idea. She went to a grass field and raised her hand at a flower. It slowly grew bigger, as many other plants grew next to it. The elf picked up the flowers, but dropped them because of a sudden interruption by her guts. She forgot to have breakfast.
Ella picked up the flowers and started looking for a fruit tree. After she found one, she noticed that the fruits weren't mellow enough. This wasn't a problem for Ella, she made them edible, took one fruit and started eating. "Sometimes I think that I won't be able to survive without my elemental abilities..." She thought. Ella stopped chewing and sadly gazed at the ground.

Some time later Ella was selling the flowers she picked up. When she finished them, she grew new ones. The special thing about those plants was that they would never die. She didn't have the courage to ask the people if they wanted to buy something from her until that day. She used to live without money for many years, but now, as she found herself a job, her faith in herself had raised. "Soon I'll be able to afford myself an apartment!" She thought.

Finally Ella thought that Trish might be already in Duskbreak, so she went there. Her black eyes were searching for the angel until she sat in front of the bartender. "E-excuse me... May I have a menu?" she asked him. Afterwards she turned to Rose. "Would you like to buy a flower? I guarantee you, it will never die." Ella told her about their price, beauty and quality.

"Are you new here?" Asked the bartender. He was cute. Lean, thriving of testosterone, a nice smile. Rose returned the smile.
"As a matter of fact," she laughed lightly, "I am." She took a swig of the whiskey in front of her. "So I hope you don't mind in front of your place here." She looked around at the people of the bar. Every place she went, she never quite met the cat-people like her cat-folk she grew up with. She looked wherever she went.
It was only a glance, but she didn't see what she was looking for. However, another hunger arose at the sight of so many men. She instantly hated herself for having that need. It might have been fun in the beginning, but now it was like a chore. Like eating, but without so much variety of food. You couldn't find different ingredients for a new dish. It was just a new person, a new taste, and some people did not take very good care of themselves, but she got what she could. It was like a no-strings-attached feel. You meet someone, you refill on what you need and try not to suck them dry of their life.
Rosaria looked back to the bartender with cute, flirting eyes.

“No, not at all” Hyuk Ji responded to the young woman with curly blonde hair before noticing her looking at him with flirting eyes. He returned the look, gazing into her eyes and waggled his brows while smiling, trying to humour her.

Then, another young woman came up to Hyuk Ji. This one had straight black hair.

"E-excuse me... May I have a menu?" She asked him. Afterwards she turned to the young blonde hair woman. "Would you like to buy a flower? I guarantee you, it will never die." she told her about their price, beauty and quality.

“Never die?” Hyuk Ji sounded amazed. Then, He took a menu from under the counter and passed it to the young black haired woman and spoke “that certainly is interesting” He gave a smile “can I buy a bouquet as a decoration for the bar?”

"Of course you can. How many do you want? Which ones?" Ella asked Shin. She presented each flower. Then she had to present two of them again, because she unwittingly said the wrong things about them. It was a challenge to talk so much today, so her nervousness started invading her again. "The violet herbs are also known for bringing luck and good wealth. People constantly bring them to their work. The blue rose is for good health. Those five flowers are known to bring happiness in love. I don't know if you believe in fortune, given by plants, but they are great for decorations." Ella started waiting for Shin to choose some of the flowers.
"You can give the flowers to a woman with a flower name... roses for a name like... 'Rosaria'." The elf had no idea that the name belonged to the woman next to her. It was a pure coincidence.
"I wonder if Trish would wish to buy a flower..." Ella thought. "Is he coming soon?"

The bartender waggled his brows at Rose. Maybe she'd be able to pull him in, maybe not. Her charm didn't always work, but most days, yes. She felt the presence of the seat next to her being filled and looked over to a black-haired beauty. She felt an undercurrent of flowing power and smiled. What did this woman being to the table, Rose wondered.
She listened to the woman stutter slightly and ask for a menu, then she turned to Rose. "Would you like to buy a flower? I guarantee you, it will never die." Rose listened to the special things about the flowers. I don't have much money, Rose thought. Easiest way to tell if someone had the power of telepathy was to speak with your thoughts first and see if they answered. Rose guessed she wasn't though. Easy telepathy, mind-reading level, usually had a lower surge of Mana. This woman used something different. The bartender was definitely interested in said flowers.
The girl seemed nervous as she talked about her flowers. Or maybe it was just nerves overall. She stuttered a lot. They were made to enhance aspects, it seemed: luck, wealth, health, happiness, fortune, and so on. Rose wondered if there was one to take the use of Ki away from someone, or Mana. She wondered whether one would bring death, perhaps. She took a swig of the whiskey. Sometimes she hated the Succubus in her. Sometimes she hated her craving for death and despair.
"Rosaria," said the woman. Rose looked over, drawn out of her stupor.
"Yes?" She said, turning back to the woman. She looked in the black-haired woman's eyes.

"How about you mix em all into a perfect bundle?" Hyuk Ji suggested to Ella with a smile "It be good to have all those fortunes altogether"

The bartender leaned down and rummage around under the counter with one of his hand before taking out a medium sized white vase and placed it on the counter.

"You can put em in here" He told the young black haired woman.

The bells on which was hung above the front door of Duskbreak bar jingled when the door opened. Trish came through it and looked around. A slight grin appeared when he saw Ella near the counter with Hyuk Ji and the young black haired woman. When Trish walked over to the three on near the counter, Hyuk Ji nodded at the angel with a slight smile curved on his lips.

“The usual?” Hyuk Ji asked Trish

Trish nodded and grinned in respond to Hyuk Ji before turning his head to Ella. “Hei” he said to her

"Huh?" Ella could only say after Rosaria said 'Yes'. She still didn't figure out it was her real name.
"How about you mix em all into a perfect bundle? It be good to have all those fortunes altogether" Shin said. Ella smiled and prepared the flowers.

Ella's eyes shined when Trish came in. She was glad that her new friend finally came. "I'll treat!" She said after the angel's order. "Hii! Thank you for everything! So, you were watching some fireflies?"

Rose pondered about how this woman knew her name, but when she looked into her eyes as the woman made a questioning noise, she realized that the black-haired woman did not know her name after all. It just happened to be coincidence. Rose watched the woman mess with the flowers as she felt a powerful presence in the bar. She couldn't tell if it had been there the whole time or if it just arrived. Indeed, it was the second. A man ordered near her, which the black-haired woman seemed to know. Rose trained her eyes on her glass, took another swig, and listened.
"Hi! Thank you for everything! So, you were watching some fireflies?"
Rose didn't understand the nonsense, but allowed herself a glance. He was handsome. Clear skin and well dressed. Rose sat silently, registering that he held power stronger or strong enough as hers. She was intrigued.

Ella's eyes shined when Trish came in. She was glad that her new friend finally came. "I'll treat!" She said after the angel's order. "Hii! Thank you for everything! So, you were watching some fireflies?"

“no, no” Trish responded with a smile “you haven’t even started your work. You pay for the next time we get together. I’ll get this one” He winked, half joking. “Anyway, how did you know I went to see the fireflies?” He asked with a smile still curved on his lips “I don’t remember telling you that”

The bells that hung on top of the door jingled again when front the door was pushed open. A few groups of multi-racial creatures came through the door, bringing along laugher, cheers, and chatters. Seats were taken around the bar, filling almost every stools and chairs.

“Aw the busy times has started” Hyuk Ji muttered and turned his head up to look at the clock on the wall, placing the glass and rag he was holding behind the counter. “It’s night time already?”

When he turned to look around, there were a lot of creatures raising their hands and waving, calling for their orders to be taken.

I can’t possibly handle this on my own Hyuk Ji thought while waving back, gesturing to wait.

The black haired bartender watched at the two female in front of him. With a sly smile on, he asked “would you two girls work as barmaids for me for the night?” His brow furrowed as he looked around “I won’t be cheap with the payments and you can keep the tips that are given” He told the girls

While waiting for their answer, Hyuk Ji turned around to quickly mix a glass of iced lemon vodka for Trish. A few second later, he placed it on the counter near Trish.

Rosaria was perplexed. Her charm didn't work with her devilish grins. Had she not tried enough? Heh, the most she got was a job offer. Close enough, she thought, I'll wrap someone up by the end of the night. If was like drinking sickeningly sweet coffee, you like it and hate it at the same time.
Rosey made a shot out of the last of the whiskey and stood. She was sweating earlier, but she still looked decent, if not sexy. Plus, she would earn money tonight, which would be good. Other than her demonic talents, she didn't really have anything special to say about herself. She extended her hand towards the bartender. "Rose," she said, extending her free hand to her new partner, the black-haired, flower-tending woman beside her.

"You were in Clearwood, weren't you?" Ella replied to Trish. "I've heard about those fireflies there when I was on the bus stop."

Suddenly many clients came in. Before Ella could get used to the crowded bar, she found herself with an opportunity for a third job. The woman next to her was invited too. "Rose." She introduced herself while raising her hand to Ella, who exclaimed in sudden realization about why the succubus said 'Yes?' earlier. "Oooooohhh! Rosaria! I'm Ella..." She timidly rose her hand to Rosaria and shook it.

There was one problem about this situation though. "I have no idea how to do this!!! I'm the clumsiest person alive!" Ella thought. She was panicked, but the bartender needed her help. It was once i a blue moon when someone asks her for help, so she doesn't have to offer it. Besides, Rose probably knew how to do it. Ella would figure things out somehow...

Trough all the work, Ella mistook her position and thought she had to help as a bartender, instead of as a waitress. When she set her temporary occupation right, she managed to mistake three orders, break one bottle and two glasses, cut herself while cleaning up the mess and serve an order with a few drops of her blood, but she also fixed her mistakes... barely. Only a few minutes has passed, and she was already exhausted. Good thing Rosaria was there too. Being a bartender and waitress was difficult for sure.

Trish was really confused. As far as he knows, there were lots of things to see in Clearwood and the fireflies were just one of them. Maybe it was just a lucky guess he thought and decided to ignore it.

As the two girls attempted their suddenly found part time work as barmaids at Duskbreak, Trish watched them, especially Ella which mistook her work as a bartender. The young woman was pretty horrible when it comes to working in bar but Trish chuckled, amused yet sorry at the same time seeing her mess things up. In the middle of things, he wondered how Ella’s day of work as a guard in the power plant will go.

Meanwhile, Hyuk Ji performed his experienced skills of mixing drinks behind the counter, constantly flipping bottles in the air and catching them from behind, wowing and impressing almost everyone in the bar while passing the mixed drinks to both girls to send them to whoever ordered them. Rarely do his eyes glance at the two to look at their accomplishments or failures.

The girls began work without flying colors, making mistakes with orders and drinks. Rose felt she got it after maybe an hour, but she didn't know the menu. She had occasional glances at the black-haired woman who kept getting herself hurt somehow. She also glanced at the man who came in to see her. He certainly was gorgeous. Rose took inventory of all the people there. Some were very quite odd, coming from different places in Daughtris. There were big ones, small ones, fat ones, and tall ones. There were blobs, and dark scary figures, and animalistic ones. There were human-like ones, and fairies, and people with wings.
Rose, in the back of her dirty Succubus mind, wondered what sex would be like with some of the creatures and how that would happen. Hell, what would a demonic, life-sucking fairy look like anyways? There were others that Rose wouldn't touch in her most desperate days.
By the end of the night and only a few broken plates and glasses, Rose felt pro. When she remembered about Gerune standing outside, she ran out to unsaddle him. "Sorry!" she said as he snorted. She knew he must be famished and parched. She ran back in and came back out with a bucket of water. When she untied him from the post outside, he drank and she explained, "I got offered a job. it won't happen again, love. I'm sorry. You know the way out of town, I presume?"
The horse did a nodding sort of thing and when his belly was full of water, he took off down the rode. Rose knew he'd be safe. She brought the tack and bucket back into the bar and put it in the back room. They still had business and she still had work, so when she settled the few things, she went back to taking orders. She'd tell the bartender later.
