Jarrob shoves his hands in his sweatshirt pockets roughly, his hood shielding his bright red hair from view as h approaches the scool. (And normal redheads are embarrassed! Jarrob would trade them for his unearthly firetruck red hair any day. Well, perhaps not.) Another year, another school. At least it's hs senior year. He may only be seventeen, but that's only because his birthday isn't until December and i's only October. Early October, at that. All the same, he's tarting at a new school well into the school year. But then,he supposes he ought be used to this by now. His family has never stayed in one place for longer than a year, for the sake of keeping him safe from Sholians and Heaven-dwellers alike.

All the same,as Jarrob approaches the school's glass doors, he cannot deny the forebding,ominous feeling that he grows submerged in. The monster's jaws open, threatening to swallow him whole, to submerge him in the acidic stew of the contents of its stomach. With a deep breath,he gives in to the best, and its jaws close greedily behind him with a ghastly grin.

Jarrob glances don at the papers that had been mailed to him the previous week, since he declined the school's offer of a tour. He had done this nough times. He can quite manage. Glncing to the top of his schedule,Jarrob reads off his locker number silently. 2-94. Ah. A second floor locker. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Sure enough, a few minutes later, Jarrob is standing in front of a deep blue locker with a lock embedded in it. Swearing under his breath, he glances around as to make sure no one's watching. When he's satisfied, Jarrob lets out a low phrase in demon tongue. "Open." The door springs open at his command and he smirks. Take that incompetwnt Mortals. You are foolish, ever so foolish.

Jarrob walks swiftly into homeroom, choosing a desk in the far corner. He leans the chair back on two legs, propping his feet up on the desk. Might as well make himself comfortable.

Kitten made her way to the school as she flew over the city, Now normally she would never use her large bird like wing's and most of the time no one even knew she could call forth wings, She had to use a power only bestowed to those with angle blood running in there vanes. Kitten was never really one to use her power's like most half bloods, She strongly felt that what ever she did in her life she would do with her humanity and the human soul she carried. But on this day a little holy help was vary much needed. “It's only fair that I get help this time see as if's not my flat I'm late.” She said to her self as she flew over the city now seeing the school in her line of sight. It was true really Kitten had to deal with a low level demon that had just come to earth the night before and her father thought it a good start for her practice she had been lacking on. Kitten sighed as the night play it's self in her mind. She wanted nothing of that life, She wanted to live as a human as much as she could. No she would never truly be part of there would but she could try and try she did, Even tho there were thing she could never change. One of those things being her coloring, Her hair was silver like white and shinned like moon light, Her skin was pale and never tanned even in the hot summer day's. Another thing that had set her apart was her aura, Most human's auras would reflect how they would feel but not Kitten's, Her aura was always at peace even if she was not. It did make it easy for her to get along with others she would admit but when it came to her meet other's like her she could never see where she stood with them and how they truly felt for her. That's way she always stayed among the humans and she was happy that way.


As she landed on the roof of the school she let her power reseed and her wings dissolve in to a mist as she rushed for the door. “I'm so late!” She cried as she ran down the step's and speed-ed down the hall's to get to home room. Kitten was glad that she had been at this school for two year's now other wise she would have gotten lost and never make it to homeroom. Kitten was in such a rush she didn't even feel the aura of the new student in the class room as she pushed open the door. “Your late Kitten.” Said the man behind the desk as she looked for a desk to sit in. “I'm sorry Sir but it wont happen again.” She said and found a seat next to her friend Joe in the vary back. “See that it dose not.” Said the teacher and then ordered them to get out there book's. “Wow little miss perfect is late!” Teased the boy named Joe. “What's the world coming to?” He joked. Kitten turned her head to the boy wearing black and spiked blue hair and had to stop her self from rolling her eye's, There was no doubt that he was a odd one in her book but even if he thought him self dark and morbid she found he had a grate light in his soul and got to know the person behind this gothic mask, What she found was a good heated boy and a good friend. “I had a bad night last night, Let's leave it as that!” She told him in a stern voice as she got her book out.

Jarrob feels the eyes of the students glancing at him every so often, and he sets his jaw as to calm himself. Keep it cool, they're not worth it. No need to curse them into oblivion, no need to condemn them to torture no matter how entertaining it would be. Instead, he merely scowls at the faces of the incompetent, finding pleasure as they jerk back around, faces red, eyes wide. Jarrob feels that he knows more or less what they're thinking. 'How can anyone be so unpleasant?' He merely smiles at the thought, which is a site, indeed. The only one who seems to fail to notice him is the teacher, which seems to baffle his classmated further. He is, after all, getting away with something students rarely get away with, lounging without a care, his hood casting dark shadows over his face. He knows the teacher won't notice as long as Jarrob helps the man keep his mind distracted. In fact, class is pretty uneventful until a girl comes bustling in, apologizing. Jarrob disregards her at first as just another careless teenager, but as she sits down, he almost falls out of his chair in cruel realization. With the girl's entrance, he is overcome with a sickly feeling, his stomach churning bitterly like he has a case of the worst epidemic ever. Gasping for air quietly, he allows himself to grow accustomed to the feeling. But not a shadow of a doubt lingers. She is an angel.

Class was almost over and Kitten was still trying to get hold of some kind of peace but visions of last night haunted her and she could do nothing but sit there and act as if nothing was wrong. She felt gilt build up in side her, A vile taste for one so pure as her to handle. She never wanted to go on a hunt with her father and she would tell him tonight, It did not matter that it was some lowly demon, It's blood flowed just as hers did and that was enough for her to find the whole thing a disgusting act. The teacher had just left to make copy's that had some how been misplaced and the classroom now filled with voice's and one brought her out of her deep thoughts. “Hay Kitten are you alright? You look like your sick or something..” Said Joe. “I'm just not my self today that's all. Hay what class do we have next?” Kitten asked. “Well it's P.E.” Joe told her a little worried at the sound of her voice. “Would you ditch class with me Joe?” She asked and a look of shock filled the boys face. “Yeah sure Kitten but are you sure, I mean you never do things like that.” Joe said the surprise clear in his voice. “Yeah I just need some peace and quite if I’m going to make it thew the rest of the day.” She told him just before the teacher entered the room but Joe gave her a nod.

As Kitten sat threw the rest of her class something gave her a odd feeling the she calmed her self down. It was almost like that of a demon aura but it held less malevolence then that she had felt from the night before. 'What could it be?' She asked her self and then pushed her aura out to find it source. Her face paled as realization hit her, There in this vary room was a half blood demon. Carefuly she drew her aura back in to her, The last thing she needed was to scare the half blood in to doing something here in the middle of class. 'There is no way this is really happen, Is there?' She asked her self. She knew for a fact that demon half blood children were not aloud to live at birth, That was unless the demon parent took the child in as a full demon and thought it the dark was of the world. She knew there was no way a half blood demon was here in her class just like any other kid. But a aura never lie's and so looking back slowly Kitten saw for the first time a true half blood demon.

Jarrob makes his plan swiftly, silently. This is, after all, a once in a lifetime chance for him, for his future. For it is bitter, this unfair life he must lead, in the world of the living where he most certainly does not be long. In the past, he has been content to serve his King from within, unacknowledged, a reasonable price for his continual existance. But is it truly fair for one as he to suffer through something as this, something as unbearable? Surely not. At any rate, the death of the angel SHOULD earn his admittance to Sheol, his acceptance as a full-fledged demon's equal. But the battle must be head on, whether he wishes for such to be so or not. It is only honorable. That is why he scribbles a quick note right before the bell rings. 'Meet me in the gym after everyone's gone hope. Or else you'll never see me coming.' Jarrob frowns at the cheesy note, unable to find a way to reword it. He shrugs, standing with the bell, hurrying to drop the paper on the girl's desk before she can gather up her things. He hurries out the door, keeping his hood down.

(Sorry I have not posted soon but I have had my hands full these last few days)

Kitten looked down at the note and sighed, She had so hoped it would not come down to this but looked like her prays had not been heard. Joe looked Kitten not sure what was going but wanted to help her anyway he could so they ditched there next class and he help Kitten clam down. After that class's pasted by and Kitten found her self sitting in the middle of the gym as she bobbed her head t the music coming from her head phones. It was one her less favorite songs but it fit her mood even if her mood did not show it self to the eye's of others. She sat there waiting not knowing she was singing out loud.

“I could be cold,
I could be ruthless
You know I could be just like you..”

A vision of her father was clear in her mind.

“I could be weak
I could be senseless
You know I could be just like you”

Her mind seeing the demon from last night as it yelled it's head off as she tried as hard as she could to kill it.

“You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you”

Her father stepping in when Kitten could not bring her self to give a killing blow.

“You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

Making her mind up right there that she would rather die then be like her father.

“On my own, cause I can't take living with you
I'm alone, so I won't turn out like you
Want me to.”

Kitten sat there as a single tear rolled down her check as she shut her eye's and thought how her life was never really her own.

((No problem. :) You'll notice myself doing the same every now and then, usually because of sports, to be honest. xD)) Jarrob keeps his hood over his eyes as he paces the halls, waiting for them to empty out completely. Thank Lucifer today's only a half day, for whatever the reason may be. Probably something about teachers' training sessions or an elementary school event that the high school teachers are participating in. At any rate, these few hours had been painful enough, just waiting for this oppurtunity, this chance of a lifetime. Mother and Father wouldn't mind his absense - they never care what he does - so this is perfect set up to surprise them. Finally satisfied that everyone's gone, Jarrob starts down the halls to the gymnasium at a steady pace, taking off his sweatshirt and shirt as he goes. They would only be a hindrance, he assures himself, unfurling his black-feathered wings behind him with a sigh, releived that they're finally free. He peers into the gym cautiously. ((Ergh, sorry I'm breaking it off like that. >.< I have to pick out clothes I want for Christmas from my grandmother who thinks anything over five dollars is expenxive. >.<))
