Introduction
As is suspectable, it is against the law for a demon to procreate with a mortal out of love, as mortals are viewed as animals. Should a child be born in this parentage, the demon is expected to either kill the child, or take them away from their mortal parent to raise them as a full-fledged demon, to create disaster and destruction. But Jarrob has always known that despite the efforts, at least one child of love between a mortal and demon roams Earth. For that is who he is.
Jarrob has spent his life in hiding, moving every year in order to keep the mortals oblivious to the fact that their is something not quite right about his mother, Killian, who fell in love with a mortal man and married him. Of course, she has not given up her demonic ways, and has passed them down to her son. Jarrob roams frequently, causing mortals to turn to darkness, in order to get them to Sheoul so Lord Lucifer can form his army of faceless dead. He finds pleasure in deception, and both despises and fears angels.
Then on the first day of school in his latest home, his senior year, he meets her. A half angel. Mind, it is perfectly legal for an angel and mortal to mate. In fact, it is encouraged by God himself. They know the nature of each other. They can detect each other's auras, Jarrob is excited at the thought of a half angel. He'd be evenly matched with her, and could prove himself to Lord Lucifer by killing her. Of course, he fears the girl's father, a full-fledged angel of whom Jarrob would be no match for. So at the end of the school day, he approaches her.
She couldn't say she didn't expect his confrontation, as she too detected Jarrob's aura. But it still shocked her slightly, that he would have the guts to do such thing. Soon she has him at her mercy, yet she cannot find the strength to kill him or even tell her father about him for that matter. Both of them leave the scene, eternally confused.
Slowly (and I mean a few days; remember, their races are bitter towards each other) the pair begins talking, learning things about the other species that they could never imagine. Eventually, they come to view each other as friends, though this confuses them both. They meet in secret, but soon she makes a slip up about hime at home, not revealing his nature, but enough for her parents to realize he exists. Thrilled that their daughter is having something to do with a boy, they have her invite Jarrob over for dinner. Jarrob assures her it will be alright, and attempts to tone down his aura. But of course, her angel father finds out and all hell breaks loose. The pair run away, now determined to stop the strained relationship between demons and angels. And slowly, their feelings grow, though they're still confused.
Note to You
Okay, so as you can see, I pretty much have the beginning outlined for us.
No, I'm not controlling in 1x1s, but these are events that will need to take place in order to get the RP going.
How they happen depends on how it flows, as does everything that occurs afterwards.
For instance, their initial battle in which she lets him live can be extended as much as you'd like.
There are no rules in this RP, other than me asking for dedication, posting multiple times a week.
I will not give a minimum word count, but please, don't hold back if you want to type a lot.
My post sizes will vary along with yours.
Also, character sheets are not going to be in depth.
I feel that in 1x1, the characters should be explored through interaction.
I have a simple code at the bottom for your character that I will be using as well.
It should only take ten minutes at the very most to complete.
Your image can be real or drawing, I don't care.
Now, as they're not fully human, the charries do have excessive powers.
The best part? I don't mind if your charrie is stacked, because we are playing the two most powerful species in the world!
We will discuss their powers more in depth in OOC, but they both for sure have retractable wings, and manipulation powers.
Manipulation powers is the power to insert a manipulative thought into another beings mind.
Your character, the angel, inserts thoughts into a mortals mind to make them do good.
The mortal in question believes the thought is their own, and can choose whether or not to obey.
My character, the demon, just uses his powers for destructive purposes.
If they try to manipulate an immortal (i.e. each other), the immortal will recieve the thought, but they'll know it's not their own, resulting in a king of mind communication.
You are permitted to reserve your character, but I ask you have your sheet up within 24 hours of reservation, as it won't take long at all.
I'll post Jarrob's soon.
And, just so you know, I play soccer,
Occasionally, I cannot get online for this reason, but that's only once or twice a week.
I'll inform you whenever I'll be off on an extended tournament for a few days.
If you are ever going to be away for a while, please tell me.
I've had a lot of experience with undedicated RPers on other sites, and I don't want to get mad at you, thinking you abandoned me.
That's about it.
Can't wait to start! <3
~Makenna<3
PS- Your charrie can be fifteen, sixteen or seventeen. Jarrob's seventeen, starting his senior year.

The cool morning air had no affect on Jarrob. No matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't fully wake up. Getting up at six am to catch the bus when he could just fly was preposterous. But, no. Mother had forbade him from flying to school. He had put up an argument, but Dad quickly sienced it, just asking him to try to be a normal kid for this year, maybe even date or something.
Jarrob had no intention of dating. Mortals were filthy creatures, that much he knew. Well, not all mortals, he supposed. His father wasn't half bad, he was actually pretty understanding, and Jarrob was comfortable hanging around him. He supposed that that came naturally, though. After all, this was his father.
"Kid, you gettin' off?" A gruff voice sounded from up front, and Jarrob jerked himself awake. He was the only one on the bus, and the driver was scowling at him. Jarrob stood abruptly, grabbing his bags. He shimmied off the bus, avoiding eye contact with the driver. Of course, he could always venge himself, but there was no need for an expulsion on the first day. His parents would kill him. Literally.
Jarrob placed his hand on the glass doors of the school. He took a deep breath. This was it. His senior year. After this gruesome year, he'd be free. Free to do as he pleases, free. Pushing the doors open, he took a step inside the small town school. Only 90 in the graduating class, he had heard. It helped with a low profile.
Jarrob put his hand in the pocket of his sweatshirt, withdrawing his folded schedule, which had come by mail. Where was his locker...? No need to bring his bag to homeroom. His locker was number 243. Sooo, it was on the second floor... Right? He decided to go with his gut instinct, and took the first flight of stairs he could find.
Sure enough, after walking down the halls of the second floor, he found the locker. And it had a lock on it. "Damn it," Jarrob muttered, realizing he had forgot to write down the code. Glancing over his shoulder to make sure no one was watching, he whispered in demon tongue. "Open," he had said. The door sprang open at his command.
Jarrob pushed his bag into the locker, along with everything else before crossing to hall to homeroom. He sat in the back, crossed his arms, and propped his feet up on his desk. Lucifer damn schools.
A lot would question why she was walking to school, instead of simply taking the bus, or maybe drive there with the new drivers license she had gotten not too long ago. In Scarlett's opinion, she would have flew here, but what luck she had to be born without wings. Then again, it did help with the whole backpack concept...She shook the topic out of her head.
Soon, she was starring at the tall building with wide eyes. Holding her breath, Scarlett walked up, and opened the glass doors. Loud voices, crowds of students had filled the school entrance. She lifted her purple backpack off her shoulder, and took out a small binder of which she sorted out the papers the school had mailed her. Flipping through them, she found her locker number, along with the code.
256
She read, glancing around after to get a hint of where to go. She decided to scan the school, first floor then second floor. She found her locker on the second floor. Scarlett stared at the lock for a moment or two, and with numerous amounts of tries, she got it open. She neatly placed her book bag, and several other things in the locker, before proceeding to homeroom.

The gazes were of abundance in homeroom. The other students were clearly baffled that Jarrob was reclining like he owned the place, and the teacher wasn't saying anything about it. Jarrob knew she wanted to say something, but he kept her mind distracted so that she didn't.
To be honest, though, it was a relief when the bell for first period rang. The stares were getting annoying, he half wanted to kill these incompetent mortals. Jarrob stood, pushing a lock of his naturally vibrant red hair away. That was one of the weird things about demons. They tended to have naturally vibrant hair, in some odd color, like red, purple, pink, or blue. It was a distinction they had, but with all the mortals dying their hair, it wasn't always the easiest to spot one another.
He walked through the halls effortlessly, everyone giving him a wide berth. Such would be an achievement of greatness in high school, had it not been for his powers. Jarrob had just toned up his demon aura so that the mortals could sense it. Sure, they didn't know he was demon, he just had an air of danger around him. Of course, any angel would be able to detect it from a mile away easily, but Jarrob doubted any angels lived in such a small, rural town.
Scarlett hadn't thought much of homeroom, as she was just quietly sitting down, with her hands folded. Her eyes were locked on the desk, she couldn't help but be slightly disappointed by the broken leg, on the far left corner. The noise itself was getting quite annoying, and she found it a little sad that the school didn't even care to fix it.
The bell rang before she could go into deeper thought.
Scarlett pushed the hair out of her face, and stood up, heading for the door.
She took a glance at the schedule, wondering where to go.
Almost suddenly, she was hit with an very strong, dark aura.
Demon was the first word to come to mind.
Scarlett stopped walking, and had toned up her aura herself. It wasn't going to be long until this Demon noticed her, why not now? Scarlett then continued to walk.

Just as he reached the doorway of Mr. Drew's science lab, Jarrob keeled over as though something had forced him downwards. His stomach was churning with some foreign force, something that felt... Good. Sliding onto the floor he clutched his stomach, growing slowly accustomed to the feeling. He had never been near one before, so he wasn't used to it. But there was no mistakening it. An angel was present, nearby, and they knew he was here.
A middle aged man was looking at him. "You alright? Maybe you should go see the nurse." Jarrob bit his lip and nodded. He allowed Mr. Drew to lead him into the lab and hand him a hall pass. Jarrob was sure to play his part, clutching his stomach with false pain. He dashed out of the room a little too quickly, but he didn't think anyone noticed. Of course, Jarrob had no intention of going to the nurse, but he wanted to find the angel before it found him. Because if it found him first, well, he'd be doomed.
Scarlett had to admit, she was curious as to what a Demon was doing here. Not only was she curious to what this demon was doing, but simply why it was here... Why would a Demon attend school, anyway?
Her curiosity loomed, as she started to walk a little slower. Scarlett soon started to notice the halls empty, and picked up her pace, she was sure teachers wouldn't appreciate someone being late...Maybe she could say she got lost? Scarlett stomped her foot on the ground, and criticized herself. Lie?! That's a sin! It must have been the Mortal part of her...
Her thoughts were interrupted by the late bell.
Scarlett let out a heavy sigh, and broke into a small run.
The halls were all but empty. The only exception was a girl who had just come into view, a blond. She seemed hesitant about something, though Jarrob had no idea what it could possibly be. That is, until he came closer to her. The naseau overcame him once more, this time worse than ever. Which meant... He was in the presence of an angel. The girl.
The late bell rang, and the girl shot away. Jarrob was relieved that she didn't see him. If she did, well, not good. Not good at all. But, he supposed she couldn't be full angel. Where were her wings? Angels couldn't disguise their wings anymore than the fallen could. But he could retract his wings, because he was only part Fallen. Which meant.... The girl was only part angel. Which meant she was also part mortal.
Jarrob's mind was swimming. He was no match for a full angel, he knew that much. But what about a half angel? They oughta be evenly matched, meaning he had a huge oppurtunity staring him in the eyes. If he could kill this fiend, Lord Lucifer would have to accept him, despite his forbidden parentage. They could come out of hiding forever, perhaps live in Sheoul.
Jarrob shook himself out of his fantasy and backed around the corner. He would watch this girl today. And she'd never know. And this would be her last day of life.
Even though she was probably the only one listening, the teacher started ramble on about lockers, locker room rules, gym clothes, and so on. While were talking, she jotted down most the instructions down on a small notebook. A small frown came across her face, she never realized how bad her handwriting was...She could barely even read it herself.
No wonder I got an E in handwriting...
She thought, pausing a bit before beginning to scribble again, filling the notebook with messy notes. Scarlett did get some odd looks; Taking notes in gym?
Jarrob knew that many an angel didn't fully harness their powers until adulthood, unlike the Fallen, who had adapted to harnessing it in early childhood, in most cases. The reasoning for this was angels, those sickly light beings who shortened the lifespan of the Fallen. 7 out of 10 Fallen were murdered by an Angel in their first thousand years of life. So Fallen adapted to getting their powers earlier, while Angels remained later. Of course, there was always exceptions to that rule, but he hoped this girl was not one of them.
A door creaked open to Jarrob's left, a little ways ahead. Aha! The outer entrance to the boys' room! Each locker room had two entrances: one inside the gymnasium, one in the halls. A perfect way for a Fallen to sneak in to observe (he felt stalk was too harsh, given the circumstances) an Angel without being seen.
Jarrob made his way to the door leading into the gym. He dare not open it, lest someone hear. Yet he needed to be able to see out, somehow... He snapped his fingers. The door vents! Of course! Lowering himself to his knees, Jarrob peered out of the door vent. It was slanted so that one could see out, but not in. How useful!
((Sorry. I started school this week, so I'll be posting less, I'm afraid. We're being hammered with homework already. :/))
Scarlett listened as the last bell of the day rung. It seems the day has passed by quickly, she thought, standing up from her seat. She headed over to her locker, trying a few times before she finally unlocked it.
Hm...Wonder where that demon could be.
She thought, gently closing the locker, as she glanced around a few times.
Seems real close...Ugh, that aura is making me sick.
She thought, shaking her head. Scarlett headed for the stairs, picking up her pace. She hadn't realized how close, he, or she, seemed all day. It made her a bit nervous...
Will this demon even have the guts to come up to me? Does it...err...the demon even want to?
She tilted her head a bit, but quickly shook the thought out of her mind.

"You know, I thought I smelled filth. Now I know I'm right."
Scarlett turned to face what she now knew was a demon, with his wings spread. She didn't know quite what to feel at first, either surprised or worried. Sure, it was a demon, and she was completely alone, but so what? It wasn't like she was defenseless. On the other hand, she was quite surprised when she found he actually came. If she were to bet, her money would probably be on that he wouldn't come.
But here he was. Right in front of her.
Scarlett let out a sigh,
"Hi there. Now, what are you doing exactly...? Well, whatever it is, hurry up, because I've got to get home."
Her face didn't show any fear, just a blank face. But, inside, she may not have been screaming, but she couldn't help but be a bit intimidated by the fact this demon MIGHT actually be a full fledged demon. The chances weren't good, mostly because the demon was in such a small town, which edged towards the conclusion that he, and his parents were hiding from Lucifer, so they wouldn't have to kill him, and she didn't see a valid reason for demons, who hate mortals, to live with them. That would just confuse her.

"I really don't like resorting to violence, so if we could just stop this that would be great,"
She smiled slightly, and continued,
"And might I warn you, even though I can't fly doesn't mean I don't know how to defend myself. It seems you haven't quite realized that,"
She added, with one hand, taking a small knife out of one of the pockets of her backpack, which was still conveniently hanging over her shoulder...Well, used to be. It made a light thump, as if fell to the ground.
"It's only for emergencies. Please, don't make me use it."
Scarlett added, showing an innocent smile.

Scarlett started to chuckle,
"I think not. It's your kind that's the violet ones,"
She pointed out. It was true, demons were basically meant for violence and destruction, how could he claim angels were violent? That's exactly what they tried to prevent! Scarlett was getting angry now, but it wouldn't help if she showed it. It would just give the demon an edge, something to tick her off with.
(Ahh! Sorry my posts are getting so short. Nothing really to talk about >.<)

Scarlett had no idea what to do, due to the fact there was a demon above her, (With wings!) she was falling from a quite high height, and, of course, don't forget the ball of fire. There was nothing to grab, or grasp, but air. That was when she hatched the idea, which might help a whole lot, or fail horribly. She threw the knife at his wing. If it hit, he would start falling too, so they'd both be in trouble. If it missed....She was weaponless, and injured.
"If you're watching, God...Please let this work."
She muttered, so quietly she could barely even hear. Of course, she would have said something in angel tongue, but of course, she wasn't quite old enough, and she barely knew anything, since her Father refused to tell her until she was eighteen...She'd always resent him for that.

This is going to be hard to explain...
She thought, as she easily got the demon in a full guard.
"So? Still wanna fight me?"
She asked, resting her arm across his neck.
"Because this is your last chance."

"No, I'm not going to kill you, that's not the right thing to do..."
She leaned in closer to him, her eyes starring intensely into his.
"But if this ever happens again, I won't hesitate."
She got off of him, and took the knife out of his wing. Even if he wasn't pinned anymore, he surely wasn't going to have the strength to get her back...Much less the courage. His face was so pale, it was even a bit amusing. Scarlett picked up her stuff, and limped out the door. Now she just needed to think something up about her ankle...and why she was so late getting home.
Setting
0.00 INK
Scarlett sighed deeply. She had no idea what she was going to say to her parents. How would she be able to come up with a story this quick?! Her house was only a few blocks away from the school. Even when she was limping, she should get there in less then five minutes. Though, it also didn't help the fact her foot was aching more than she thought was possible, as she lugged it along.
She groaned quietly, the more she walked, the more it hurt. She wasn't going to be able to focus on excuses if this pain didn't let up. Plus, it wasn't like she could stop, she was already going to be quizzed when she got home...Hopefully it was just her Mom. She happened to be less strict, and ask less specific questions.
Scarlett took a deep breath, then started to force herself to think of something.
...What should I say about my ankle? I really shouldn't tell the truth, considering the fact that Dad might get raged...and...stuff could happen. She spared the demon for a reason. Perhaps I can say I tripped? And I was late because I tripped, and I lost my phone?
Quickly, realizing she might have actually lost her phone, she slipped her hand into her pocket, only to find it wasn't there.
"At least it helps on my side."
She muttered, so quietly she could barely hear. Shaking her head slightly, Scarlett went back to thinking.
But I really don't want to lie...And that would be a lot of lies. Maybe...Maybe I could pretend it didn't happen? As if I never hurt my ankle?
She nodded quickly at the thought, knowing it would hurt, but it was worth avoiding the lie. Now she just needed to think about her back up story. How about she was studying? She was about to shake her head at the idea, but it was too late, she was already at her doorstep. Holding her breath, Scarlett gently placed her foot on the ground, starting to put pressure on it as she turned the door knob. She hissed silently, and quickly opened the door, releasing a gust of wind in her direction, as it blew back her blonde hair. The pain was tremendous, and that was an understatement. A very large understatement.
Pressing her teeth into her lip to distract her from her foot, she finally noticed her Mother, who was leaning against the wall, her arms crossed, and her eyebrows arched. She had a phone in one hand, and a half eaten chocolate bar in the other.
"Hi, Mom."
Scarlett gave a crooked smile, more like a I'm sorry smile, then a smile at all. She narrowed her eyebrows,
"How come you came home so late today?"
She asked, taking a bite of the chocolate bar.
"..I-I was studying."
Scarlett wasn't the best liar around. Her Mom walked towards her.
"Studying? It's the first day of school, what could you have possibly studied?"
She sunk her teeth deeper into her lip.
"...Rules? Yes, rules! I was studying the rules."
She sighed, shaking her head, and placing her hand on Scarlett's shoulder.
"You know what? Whatever thing you did, don't tell me. It's not my job to get into your life...Well...Part of the time. But, just don't let this happen again, okay?"
Scarlett let out a sigh of great relief, and nodded, jogging to her room, putting most of the pressure on the ankle she didn't hurt. Quickly, without a sound, she swiftly hopped onto her bed. The first thing she did was rip off her shoes, and socks, and squeeze her ankle. It didn't ease the pain, but at least it made her feel like she was easing it. She could swear it was throbbing, but under no circumstances was she going to tell her parents about this...Where was Dad, anyway? She'd find out sooner or later.
Scarlett held her ankle for quite some time, watching the digital clock on her nightstand tick until it displayed 10:00. Now, it was dark in her room. She didn't bother to turn the lights on when she came in, so now, she was just sitting in utter silence, not to mention darkness. Though, her eyes were still adjusted, so she could still see the small details of her room.
Suddenly, there was the sound of the door opening and closing, and footsteps.
Must be Dad.
She thought, wondering why he was home so late. Shrugging, she carefully propped herself beneath the covers, and fell to sleep.
Scarlett had decided to take the bus today. Not only was it more convenient, but she wasn't in the mood to walk today. Neither was her foot. Though, it was feeling better, but that was probably because at about two in the morning she 'borrowed' one of her Dad's books, and found the word heal in angel tongue. It helped, but it didn't necessarily heal it all the way. She was only sixteen, either way.
Soon, she was leading herself out of the bus. It didn't hurt as bad to walk on it either, but that didn't mean it still didn't hurt. If you looked close enough, you could notice she was walking rather oddly. Not that it mattered. When she was walking into the school, she stifled a laugh, spotting the demon sleeping on a bench in the lobby.
How amusing.
She thought, as she walked by him.

Okay, so I'll have the opening post up in a few minutes.
I'll check back here to tell you when it's up.
We're obviously starting on the first day of school.
Re: Dawn & Dusk
I had mine picked out before I posted the plot. xD
Now maybe that the thread is up, I'll be able to sleep tonight.
Last night I couldn't fall asleep, because I kept running everything through my head. xD
Weird, I know.
