Fears:
Remi is scared of the supernatural and the occult but nothing much else besides the powers beyond scare her. Having grown up on a healthy dose of south american myths and lore with a good helping of hoodoo and voodoo, Remi is sure of the devil and his minions existence. She doesn't take kindly to those who make out she's some paranoid religious freak when that is far from the truth. However, she does were a cross given to her by her grandmother who insisted the Virgin Mary herself kissed and blessed the necklace for her.
Personality:
Tough as nails. Not much can hold Remi down. She's one of the boys. A fighter with an attitude problem but most people can take her with a pinch of salt and if they can get past her tough exterior and foul mouth they'll find her wicked sense of humour. Being a solider, Remi is used to routine. Yet, she's not so good with taking orders she doesn't agree with. She may seem rough around the edges but she's a good person, mostly.
History:
Born in Honduras, Remi's life has never been an easy one. She lived in the dangerous country until the age of six when her family made their way through Mexico to America in the hopes of a new life. The youngest of four, Remi was the only daughter which may explain why she's so much like one of the boys. Her mother was a teacher and her father was an engineer. The family were never wealthy but since moving to America they lived a pretty decent life. Remi didn't know a word of English until she moved to the US. Following her youngest older brother, Remi joined the army when she was eighteen realising school just wasn't for someone like her who craved adventure. Turned out she was a good fighter but taking orders wasn't for her. Remi soon found herself in some special ops group which promised more freedom from rules and commands but that turned out to be another let down as it was even more confined. The only thing left for Remi was to go at it alone. So this is where Remi's story begins as a mercenary when one day out of the blue she received this strange email. Naturally her curiosity was peaked. She'd been in jungles like that in Honduras . . . Those anomalies . . . They were not of this world. And now knowing about it, Remi could not not go . . .
