Personality: Elijah can be cunning and sly when needed, he can also change his personality to make someone think differently of him. He is really quite a nice person if you get through his cold exterior, but most people find him arrogant, stubborn and standoffish. He's quite mercurial. Nice or cunning when needed.
History: Elijah got involved in gangs at a young age, because both his mother and his father pretended him and his three brothers didn't exist. They where too wrapped up in their own little world of money this, money that. Not that they were rich. In fact, they were pretty much flat broke, but his mother continued with her expensive tastes. His father continued with his alcohol obsession, and the alcoholic man was often found asleep. Elijah's father was fired, and his mother refused to take a job. The only people bringing in any money was Elijah's older brothers, who he looked up to. But soon his brothers moved away together, leaving Elijah alone.
When Elijah turned 16, he moved out on his own with a loan. Elijah got involved in the gangs on the streets, and made enough money to pay off his loans and live quite succesfully. He moved into organised crime, in which his Italian roots proved useful. He was living happily, with a steady flow of cash, and several people's blood on his hands. He used Martial Arts as an escape, and progressed in his ability with fork-like weapons, such as cabangs, sais, and trident heads. And the odd eating fork. Don't forget those deadly eating forks. In the forks though, he would always make sure it was uneven, having one arm shorter or longer than the over two. Usually the left side.
Eventually, Elijah was caught by the police, and spent eight months in jail. It was a minor crime, but he did go. In jail several uncomfortable things happened to him. Involving the other in mates. When Elijah got out, he swore he'd reform. He did not want to go back to that hell behind bars. He pulled all his savings out of the bank and decided to move to Verinor, the only place he knew of untouched by his crime gang's reach to find himself a new start. A new life.
He got a new life all right. Just not the one he intended.
