Tallara H. Ryan's Story

"There's only five rooms I'd like for people to be set up in; I'm alright with 'em anywhere in the house except my room and the basement," Daniel quickly replied. "You got it?" Chassie lifted herself up from her seated position, dipping her head before looking back to John. "Do you think you get everyone who's not inside to meet up in the house for me?" She asked him before walking into the house.


Eventually the living quarters was filled with several survivors, Chassie preforming a silent head-count in the middle of the room. Twelve people when she included herself, and Daniel wouldn't need to be assigned anything as he stated earlier that no one would be located to his personal quarters. "Alright!" Chassie exclaimed as she clapped her hands together. "We got six girls and six guys with only five rooms available." After a moment of thoughtful silence, her hands clapped down on her waist and a smile touched her lips. "Alright. So, as I am unaware of how well acquainted everyone in the group is, please feel free to form groups of three with who you'd prefer. There will be one group with only two people, they'll get the smallest room. Who gets the bed or whatever- that's up to your group to decide."

After the groups finished assembling, Chassie motioned to the kitchen with one hand. "Daniel will be preparing dinner. In the mean-time you can gather your stuff and I'll show everyone to your rooms." A second went by before Chassie realized her lack of introduction. "Oh- and my name's Chassie, by the way."

Tallara stood idle at the stairway, her good shoulder against the wall as she partially listened to their directions. Although she understood them correctly, her mind wandered aimlessly as her grey eyes scanned the group. Once they fell upon Luna, she caught the uneasiness in her figure and the settle twitch of her fingers. She eventually made her way toward Daniel, taking a calming puff from a smoke she'd been given. She shared a brief word with him before Tallara's curiosity pulled her in. She made her way toward the door, grabbing her backpack and readjusting the medical pack in the crook of her arm before approaching Luna. Once she was done speaking, she softly spoke
"Luna, would you like to share a room? I'd also like to talk with you about some... things." She eyes flashed toward Patrick who's jacket had a suspicious, wet and foamy patch on his arm. He looked shaken as well. But no matter, those were not the matters she wished to discuss. Her eyes then returned to Luna, her head nodding upstairs. This would indicate she'd like a private discussion.

((OOC: I loved it! Creepiness is my thing if you read my books. Hehe it was chilling yet exciting! ;D Maybe I should make Rose later on think that she keeps seeing Skylar, or her ghost that is. But that's for a later time. Anywhoooo. Reply time. ))

Luna:
She nodded to Tallara and was curious at what she wanted to talk to her about. Maybe it was about Patrick, but the concerned look on her face didn't seem to be for something like a misbehaving teenager. She was about to excuse herself from Daniel when Zach came in through the door, a smile on his face as he told her he got a bunch of supplies.
"I found some medical supplies. the drugs are expired but some of them are still usable." he said eagerly and Luna raised her eyebrow.
"Well that was quick." she said having seen him leave only a few minutes ago.
"What do you mean?" he asked her in confusion and then looked to Kira but she just looked back at him intently, not understanding what he was saying.
"Uh nope... You just left a few minutes ago." she said concerned and Zach left the house again shaking is head. He returned with a cart of some sort and showed Luna a bunch of supplies.
Her eyes widened and she looked back up at Zach.
"Where did you find this?" Luna asked. She was getting a bad feeling from the supplies and feared to touch them. Her grandmother, as the Gypsy healer, had taught Luna to contact the spirits of the earth and the spirits of the lost, but she'd never believe in any of that. That didn't mean though that she was going to mess with them, and definitely not dark ones.

Kira:
She looked back and forth between Zach and his confusion and Luna and her repulsion.
"The insane asylum down the road." Zach said but then a look crossed his face and he cursed. "Sonofabitch." Kira looked at him with confusion. "the place burned down two decades ago." he finally explained and Kira laughed uneasily. She didn't believe in things like that. Paranormal or unexplained things. She turned away and held Oswin close, feelings suddenly uneasy in being around Zach. He'd been different since Tyler had tortured them and she was afraid he was loosing his sanity now. Even at first she'd thought Patrick was turning dark, but this was different. He was insane. There was no such thing as burned buildings coming back by themselves. She'd read enough Stephen King novels in her lifetime but never believed in something like Rose Red.
He sat down next to Kira with a blank expression on his face, trembling, as he muttered questions to himself.
"Zach?'' asked him but he didn't answer. I think it's time you get some rest. I'll come get you when dinner is ready." she said setting Oswin on the couch next to David and Jake (right? were they there? XD), still a bit confused on David had found them, and then took Zach's arm and led him upstairs to one of the larger guest rooms that could fit 3 or even more.

Tallara stood there at Luna's side, their expressions befuddled and somewhat frightened. She'd only heard little of time displacement, although she found it fascinating she never did look into it. Now it was too late and that information was lost to her forever.
After a moment of silence and questioning gazes, Tallara let out an exhausted sigh before nudging Luna. She made her was casually up the small stairway, turning into a small room. By observation, this must have been the smallest room Chassie had mentioned just moments ago. Although the size of the room didn't matter as this would only be a discussion on private matters.
After Luna walked through the doorway, Tallara quietly shut the door and sat herself and the supplies down.
"So," She began. "You know how I chose Denver to be the next destination, right?" She slipped her legs under each other, crossing them. "It may be a gold-mine, but there's something specific. Its my dad- he lives in Durango and I have no doubt that he's still there and alive. I'm a lot like him- stubborn and determined. No way would he let a load of Infected get to him." She slid the backpack into he lap, unzipping it to take out the map she'd "borrowed" from the group. On it she'd made a needle-size hole. "He lives around there. If we find him, he has a gun collection and food storage to feed five people for months." She didn't bother explaining further, as she assumed Luna would understand, him being alone, he would still have quite a bit of previsions.
"When we get there, I'm splitting for a little bit to find him. But I don't want to go alone."

Luna:
She was glad to get away from the creepiness. The bad energy coming off the supplies was putting her on edge, and she was still a little on edge about Patrick too. She flicked the ash of her cigaret out the window in the small bedroom before settling herself down in the window sill, one leg out and one leg in. She turned her attention to Tallara.
"What's up?" she asked and Tallara quietly shut the door and sat herself down by her supplies.
"So," She began. "You know how I chose Denver to be the next destination, right?" She slipped her legs under each other, crossing them. "It may be a gold-mine, but there's something specific. Its my dad- he lives in Durango and I have no doubt that he's still there and alive. I'm a lot like him- stubborn and determined. No way would he let a load of Infected get to him." She slid the backpack into he lap, unzipping it to take out the map she'd "borrowed" from the group. Luna knew she probably stole it but hey? Who was she to judge? She was a gypsy and gypsy's were known thieves. Luna leaned over to see it more and on it Tallara made a needle-size hole. "He lives around there. If we find him, he has a gun collection and food storage to feed five people for months."
She blinked up at Tallara a little excited at the news and also smiled at the fact that Tallara was showing that she still cared for some things. Other than killing the dead that is.
"When we get there, I'm splitting for a little bit to find him. But I don't want to go alone." she spoke to Luna and the blonde girl leaned back against the open window sill. She pondered her implied question. Oswin would be dead soon, she wasn't going to try and pretend she wasn't, and lately she'd been feeling used. Even by John. She would love to travel with Tallara and was a little excited on the thought of going off to explore and find her father.
Then she felt the cool metal of the crescent moon necklace that lay between her collar bone. She touched it and ran her thumb over it.
"Of course I would come with you, but... what about John? Do you think he would come with us?" she didn't yet understand yet but she was growing close to John too. Maybe a bit more than Tallara. She shook her head. What was she thinking.
"I'm sure he'd want to stay here with the group... but I would love to come with you." Luna decided and grinned towards her.

Rose:
She needed air then. Seeing Oswin pale and Zach loosing his mind possible along with the company of so many strangers in a strange house without her sister was making her feel a bit claustrophobic.
"Want to go sit on the porch?" she asked Patrick seeing that he too was a bit on his own. All the adults were making plans and decisions and here they were, "the kids", just standing to the side waiting for someone to direct them to their next task.
She didn't wait to see if Patrick agreed and opened the creaking screen door to the outside. She was immediately greeted with a late night summer breeze. She could smell the fall getting near and in the distance the thunder clouds were indecisive on weather they should leave or come back, but for now the sky was a bit clear and the sun was casting a beautiful sun set against the gas filled air, turning the clouds pinks and oranges and purples. She sat down on the pealing paint of the porch steps and let out a long breath.

As Chassie said something about dinner and sleeping arrangements I felt sick to my stomach. I didn't want to eat and my stomach was twisting and turning. I wondered where I would sleep for the night and I saw Tallara talking to Luna. I approached feeling a bit queasy and asked, "Hey you guys. Sorry to interrupt but would it be possible if I could bunk with you two again?" I looked down at my shirt as they thought over the idea. My stitches seemed to b bulging and the skin around them was more swollen than the rest of my thin abdomen. My muscles I had gotten out of a lot of baseball practice were starting to be lost and turn into skin and bone due to lack of food constantly. I looked back up awaiting their reply.

"I'm sure he'd want to stay here with the group... but I would love to come with you." Tallara flashed Luna her typical, flashing grin before lifting herself up to the bed. The unused warmth of the patternless quilt felt soft to the touch. She'd almost forgotten what it felt like to be sheltered and comfortable.
She shambled over the fabric toward Luna, seating herself beside her on the windowsill. In the moonlit fields two shorter figures frolicked about the dancing fireflies, a soft smile touching her lips. She payed no heed to their adventures outside the fence, she merely admired their spirits. "Say..." She whispered, the warmth of her breath fogging the window. "You've been a bit agitated lately..." Tallara turned her grey gaze toward Luna. "Is something wrong?"

((OOC: Yup not everyone knows.))

Rose:
She raised her eyebrow at Patrick when he quickly shut a door in the face of a hairy looking mountain man zombie.
"Well that was ruuude." she joked.
He leaned against it and asked: "Any ideas on how to deal with Zombie McCrazybeard?"
She tapped her chin and looked around before spotting a few large looking sticks that must have broken from a tree in a recent wind storm.
"I guess whack him with a stick?" she offered not knowing how many times they would have to hit the zombie before he died.

Luna:
She was watching the two teens enjoy themselves from her perch on the window sill when Tallara came to sit next to her, quilt in hand. They sat there for a bit, just enjoying the peace, even with one stupid looking zombie shambling towards a shed a bit away. The new guy Jack or something rather was sitting by himself on the porch.
"Say..." Tallara whispered, the warmth of her breath fogging the window. "You've been a bit agitated lately..." she turned her grey gaze toward Luna. "Is something wrong?"
Luna furrowed her brow and rested her forehead against the wavy glass.
"I don't know. I'm just a bit tired..." she spoke softly too.
"All this medical work and traveling and lack of food is really tiring me out. And I also feel like no one really appreciates what I do for them... as if they just expect me to tend to them. Like it's my job instead of hospitality." she looked back at Tallara, twisting her white blonde hair around her finger. It was becoming very greasy and tangled and in some spots a baby dread was beginning to form. She was going to have to do something about this mess of her hair soon.
"What about you? How you feelin?" she asked the other woman seeing that she too seemed quite disheveled from days of travel and grime.
It was then that she heard a soft knock at the door and John's voice.
"Come in." she said, staying seated in her spot next to Tallara.
She looked back out the window and absently touched the necklace he'd given her.

Kira:
When he said he loved her she ducked her head and smiled, hugging him back.
"Love you too."
After a long hug they sat back and she sighed. Feeling rested at last.
"We'll just have to find a way to deal with it...the stress." he offered and she nodded in agreement.
"Maybe Daniel will put us to work and soon we'll forget all about the walkers." she said and then began to ramble on about all the possibilities that they could be set to work with.

Luna described her feelings toward the others actions upon her, feeling manipulated and utterly used. At this Tallara's eyes narrowed and her thoughts on recent injuries inflicted on the group. Everyone did indeed shamble off to Luna as if she was a free candy-bar for the taking.
"What about you? How you feelin'?" Luna's kind eyes scanned over her, examining her worn being. As if to respond, Tallara grinning down at her tattered jeans. Before she could throw out her response, there was a knock at the door. Luna took the liberty of allowing him to come in, still stationary at the window sill. She looked over to Luna whom appeared to absently touch at a necklace at her neck. She smiled up at her, tilting her head to the side. "I think I'm up for a shopping trip." She looked down at Luna's tattered dress- not very fine zombie-killing material. "You -really- are in need of some new clothes, hmm?"

" 'sup John?" Tallara greeted him after answering Luna. In one hand he held a large stick, something Tallara had the sense to know was being used as a cane. "You doing alright?"

OOC((Sorry I wasn't trying to sound mad or mean if I did. Anyways I'm not mad or anything just so you know :) ))
Luna told me I could come in and I stumbled in on my walking stick.
" 'sup John?" asked Tallara.
"Not too much just patching myself up a bit." I responded pointing at my nose chi and leg."
"You doing alright?" she asked in a concerned but laid back way.
"Ah...I'll be fine. Nothing new really just more pain like usual. And also Luna I wanted to tell you something." She looked back at me and I finished my speech. "I feel like I've been way too reliant on you and the others since I found you guys. Mainly you though since you're the doctor and all. Anyways I wanna start carrying my own weight and helping you guys out more. Now I don't know too much about medicine or anything to do with medical stuff at all really. I can cook and garden pretty good which may sound weird coming from a guy, but Jane and I took some classes together for both of those a couple weeks before the shit hit the fan. Anything you guys need just tell me." Directing the final part at Tallara also willing to help her out. I felt good offering my help and not being such a moocher. I finally felt like I was helping out for once.

((OOC: Ahh. Have on some Alice in Chains and I am ready to let my writers juices fly.))

Kira:
"Yes." she agreed softly and gazed out at the darkness that was growing. Clouds blocked the moon so that it was a bit darker than normal, but it didn't scare her. Something about being around a whole group of survivors and in a peaceful farm was making her forget of her fear of the dark and of the undead that must be lurking nearby for the smell of fresh human flesh to come near.
She felt Zach's hand in hers and looked over at him.
"We went from being complete strangers...to this." he said with a smile and she smiled back, but then looked away with a sigh.
"Oswin is sick. I'm not sure if she's infected or what but she's dying. Luna told me... it won't be long." she said, her voice barely a whisper.

Luna:
She was happy at Tallara's mention of shopping and didn't even want to look down at her dress, which was ripped and bloodied in some very awkward places. John entered the small room and she looked him up and down noting all his bruises and cuts. She winced and waited to hear him ask for her assistance what again, but he didn't.
"I feel like I've been way too reliant on you and the others since I found you guys. Mainly you though since you're the doctor and all. Anyways I wanna start carrying my own weight and helping you guys out more. Now I don't know too much about medicine or anything to do with medical stuff at all really. She got up then and wrapped her arms around him, then stepping back she looked to Tallara, then back to John.
"We're thinking of leaving. Tallara needs help with some personal matters, and I want to go with her... will you come with us?" she asked with wide eyes, not sure of the answer. She was quite close to these two people, maybe not as close as Zach's group is to each other, but close enough to know you want to be around each other through thick and thin.

Rose:
She pressed her ear and laughed at the sound of the undead's grunts as he tried to get his uncoordinated self in through a closed door.
"Everyone at the farm is going to love us for this. Look at all of the food and weapons! Maybe we won't be the useless kids anymore, huh? No pickles though, sorry." Patrick's voice was heard from behind her and she turned, for the first time seeing the inside, and her eyes grew wide. This was definitely supplies they needed. The hairy guy must have been a hunter and he'd brought supplies to last him. Who knew these guys would be helpful during a zombie apocalypse.
She found a stack of canned goods, mostly baked or pork and beans. A few packets of bad hotdogs lay in the corner by it all, but the rest of the food looked good.
She lifted a bottle of vodka and grinned mischievously back at Patrick.

OOC((I am leaving for North Carolina tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM and will be gone for a week. Jake, Silent, Zach, Tytress, and whoever can control my character but no major plot things and NO KILLING. Anyways hopefully this vacation will be peaceful to get away from this crappy city in Florida. XD Anyways I will be gone for 8 days and 7 nights. I will try to post if there is internet in the mountains but just wanted to let everyone know. :) Can't wait for the 9 hour drive.))

Luna must've been happy that I was going to start doing something for myself because she gave me a big unexpected hug. She then looked at me and then Tallara and then me again. "We're thinking of leaving. Tallara needs help with some personal matters, and I want to go with her... will you come with us?" Luna told me suddenly. I felt like I should've been surprised or something but I felt closer to Luna and Tallara more than the others at this point. I just never had known Zach or his group as well and I was thinking about proposing the same question to them soon. "Alright." I said and shrugged my shoulders. "I was ready to ask the same thing I mean the group is getting to big and I feel weird mooching off of Daniel. One thing though. I want to stop at that amusement park Elijah was talking about. I want to at least tell his family what happened. Other than that I'll come along happily."

As Luna embraced John, she looked back toward Tallara for a brief moment. While she did so, Tallara shot her a reassuring smile. After the two's chat began to end itself, she slipped off the bed and strode over to a small work desk. She briefly rummaged through its contents to find a pen and a stack of paper. She slipped out a piece and rested it on the desk, writing neatly on its surface what would be an address. Tallara tore around the address, making it into a small portable strip and repeated the process. By the end Tallara had two strips of paper, each reading an address.

"This is our destination," she explained as she handed Luna and John the address slips. She then turned and gazed intently at the two. "And if -anything- happens, you go there." She eased herself back, closing the opened drawer. "In the morning we can head back to Durango and do some 'shopping'." Tallara smiled before slipping the quilt off the bed. As expected, there was a secondary layer of blankets underneath. The quilt was large, as it could easily wrap around a grown man. She waved her hand, motioning for the two to move as she spread it across the floor.
"Now.... you two can decide who gets the bed and who gets the quilt. I'll just be against that wall-" She directed toward the corner by the desk. "- ain't no way I'm sleeping on this shoulder."

Kira:
She had made her way down the stares to check on Oswin and saw her laying back on the couch a bit, her face pale and clammy. The girl must have been too week to move because any other nine or ten year old would have gone off exploring the new surroundings, but this one just limply lay on the couch.
She sat next to Oswin and smiled, but it was as if the girl couldn't see Kira at all. She just stared blankly ahead. Kira felt her cheek and it was very cold but sweaty as if she were burning up. Her breathing was coming out quick. Kira winced and wrapped her arm around the child, bringing her to lay in her lap, head against her chest and eyes closing with drowsiness. It wouldn't be long at all. She didn't think the girl was going to make it through the night.

Rose:
She shook her head with a grin at Patrick's cockiness and took the bottle of alcohol from him. She also tried not to think to much about his flirtatious comment. It was too soon after her sisters death. She looked away for a moment and stared blankly at a wall, but then shook her head and took a swig of vodka. She then tucked it under her arm. Before the apocalypse any teen would have kept that bottle, but she didn't think she should be gettin drunk at the moment. She would have to offer it to Daniel as a peace offering.
She began loading one of the camo backpacks with as much supplies as they could carry.
"We should be getting back. I thought I heard some shouting." she said having noted Jake's and Zach's voice a few second before. She didn't think it was another pack of zombies, because why would they be shouting at them?

Luna:
She took the scrap gently and tucked it in her sock in her boot. Her grandmother had always told her to keep the most valuable things in your shoes. Then you would never lose them, and they would guide you forward.
She didn't mind where she was going to sleep and gave a pitying look towards Tallara and her shoulder. She rifled through her bag and noted she had a few pain killers. She tossed them to her.

((OOC: Sorry it's short XD I want to write, it's just this one was a bit difficult since I hadn't for a few days.))

Tallara was quick to react to Jake's yelling outside. "What the hell?" She muttered, listening for a moment before acting. A man with a knife... who just jumped him. Great. After pulling her head back and plopping the pills in her mouth, she turned to her backpack. Resting against her still backpack was a full quiver, and from it she drew an arrow. She clearly wasn't in the condition to shoot a bow, thus an arrow would have to do.
She stormed down the tall stairs, finding Patrick leading in the unfamiliar figure whom seemed oddly content in this situation. What the hell was that kid doing? She leaped off the stair, shoving herself past Patrick and intercepting between the two before the clown could set a foot inside the door. She stood with her right side to the stranger, and the equaling arm pointing the arrow like a sword. She stood her ground, blocking the whole entry way with her own tall body. She was only a few inches shorter than the figure, thus making herself tower above the far shorter Patrick whom stood behind her. And she was no doubt stronger than Pat, too.
"What the HELL, kid?" she spat at Patrick, however never lessened her gaze on the stranger. If either of them were to fight against her, attempt to pull a weapon, or even just gently touch her arrow she would no doubt leave a nasty scar. "This kind man-" she clearly directed Daniel Winters, "has sheltered us, offered us a full meal, and what do you do? You let a fucking lunatic -who also clearly sought harm on Jake- inside his house!" She glared, her eyes flaming with twisted emotion. Without turning her head to face Patrick, she spat a clever insult at him. "And you thought -I- was endangering the group on the train. I pity you, kid." She would certainly NOT allow this stranger entry on her life unless directed otherwise by the house owner, Daniel.

Patrick was too startled to do anything while Tallara stormed downstairs and made a giant fuss over Jamie entering the house. Daniel came in and said that he agreed with her, but he was calmer and a lot less crazy about it. After Tallara mentioned how kind Daniel was Patrick mumbled "fucking suck up".

"Whoa, whoa, what the heck? He's my brother. He just came here and I'm bringing him inside because that's where people go." He added another word to the end of the sentence, but it wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear. Tallara seemed to be acting smug and it was making Patrick incredibly pissed since on top of that she was attacking his brother and he had no idea what she was talking about. He took advantage of the fact that she wasn't looking at him and looked at Jamie while circling his index finger over his ear while mouthing "cuckoo". Jamie laughed and didn't change his relaxed attitude at all.

"Nah, man. I screwed up and got my murder-mode on with some guy because he pulled a gun on me." He still had the bottle of Faygo in his hands that Zach didn't take. He held it out to Tallara. "It was an honest mistake, though. I talked to some guy about it. Think Patrick said his name was Zach. He seems to understand that I didn't mean it and I'm really sorry. Faygo?"

Due to the relaxed voice of Daniel, she noted that the hand on her shoulder must've been his. She lowered the arrow before weaving it through a belt-loop. Patrick explained the family relation between the two and must've done something to make the teen laugh. He was quite chill, actually. Tallara expected something bigger.
"It was an honest mistake, though." He spoke after explaining about the misunderstanding between Jake and himself. "I talked to some guy about it. Think Patrick said his name was Zach. He seems to understand that I didn't mean it and I'm really sorry. Faygo?" Tallara blinked at the half-full soft-drink bottle, taking a moment to absorb the situation. Although she expected a more... climatic reaction. When placing herself in his shoes, she grinned at realizing she would've certainly done the same. She'd done something similar with Kira at the destroyed town- giving her gun openly.
Tallara took the bottle of Faygo, tipping her head back to consume a reasonable amount of the soft drink before returning it to its owner. "Hm." She said after swallowing, placing a hand on her waist before stepping aside. "Your alright."

Kira:
Daniel had come back in and with that Zach and Kira got Oswin upstairs into one of the larger rooms, setting her body on the bed. It looked so tiny compared to the twin sized mattress. Her breathing was coming out small and quick.

Luna:
She had followed Tallara downstairs after she'd seen her take one of her arrows. She almost laughed when a thought came to her mind that sounded a lot like: "shit just got real!"
She leaned casually against a wall as Tallara angrily confronted some clown teenager while also scolding Patrick. She caught the little sarcastic comments and her gaze hardened on him, giving him a warning look. She was definitely going to have to sit down with Zach and Patrick and discuss with the other man on teaching this kid some respect and maturity. If he didn't want them treating him like a kid then he should have to stop acting like one. It was a simple solution.
Daniel had come back into the living room from the kitchen and with just a simple hand on the arm and an offered soft drink from the clown guy things had lost its tension.
"Your alright." Tallara said and Luna waited to see if the man of the house would either approve or disapprove of the new arrival, which she hadn't yet caught on that he was a relative of Patrick's.

When Jamie said that he had attacked someone, Patrick started to get a little worried. Jamie had been weird. The guy would go from being incredibly calm like he was at the moment to going nuts over nothing. He remembered a time when he had beaten Jamie at a video game and his brother beat him half to death. Hopefully it was just self defense like it sounded, though. Luna glared at him from inside and he threw his arms out and clapped them down in the universal symbol of "I give up". He didn't need a lazy doctor's anger on top of a lunatic killing machine's. Tallara said that Jamie was alright and let them in. He hoped that she realized that there was no reason to act so smug towards him, but at least it was nice of her to accept Jamie. Patrick walked in first and grumbled at Tallara.

"Hey, no need to apologize so much for freaking out at me over something that I couldn't have possibly known. You're too nice."

Jamie liked this woman. She was the first person to accept his offer of slamming a Faygo and trusted him enough to let him in. He nodded at her and was about to enter when someone stopped and said that they would have to search him. He paused for a second because he didn't want to be stripped of his protection from all of the dangers outside, but there was nothing he could do. They could probably kill any that got too close anyway.

"Sure, man. Do it if you feel it needs to be done, but I'd like my knife back as soon as I can with everything going on outside."

Luna:
She looked towards Daniel seeing that he was a bit more comfortable with the new guest when he had no more weapons. He stepped aside to let the kid in. She walked over to Kira and Zach, a bit worried over her running out and then Zach bringing out a body. She knew it was Oswin's and her heart ached. She'd been so busy worrying over her own feelings that she hadn't checked up on the little one. She knew the girl was dying, she just hadn't noticed how close it was.
She seated herself next to them on the couch and ran her hand threw her tangled hair, her fingers getting caught, and then giving up she placed her hand back in her lap.
"We have a new visitor. Had a little tiff with Jake and someone got hurt. It was just a flesh wound, but keep an eye on this one."
she spoke quietly to them.

Rose:
She caught the end of Luna's intro and piped up happily, trying not to think too much about Oswin. She was already trying to get over the death of her sister.
"Patty and I found a heap of supplies in a hunting shack! Lots of stuff actually." she said excitedly and jiggled the camo backpack she had slung over her arm and then the ax she could barely lift.
"And I think there was a hunting crossbow thingy too." she said nodding towards Tallara, having noticed her bow.
