"Can't trust much of anyone." She gives a shrug and places a hand on Bosco's neck and he sits down, his eyes never leaving the two others. WIth a small moment she chuckles a bit, running a hand through her hair, pushing the bangs from her eyes.
"Strange seeing people actually alive and kicking." Her eyes flicker across the street, taking a instinctive 360 of the place.

Nyx raised a single blonde eyebrow at his theory. Sure, it was rather morbid, but if it worked for him, who was she to judge? Nowadays, if you wanted to survive you had to kill. That's all there was to it, and everyone had different ways of coping with things. She could argue that there were a lot less thieves and murders than there were average citizens, or that thieves and murderers were more likely to have the survival know-how, but Nyx swallowed it. Who was she to mess with something that kept him sane?
When he stood and turned to go, Nyx snapped back into attention and followed him to the end of the alley. She saw the walkers, same as him, but before she could think of something to do about it, he'd grabbed a rock. Realizing what he was doing, she crouched, shifting her bag on her shoulder and waiting.
When the walkers all turned away from them to follow the stone, Monday dashed out across the street, Nyx hot on his heels. She flew with silent feet, making sure not to make noise and alert the walkers again, and before she knew it, she was back under the safe cover of the alley, leaning against the wall panting hard. They were just walkers, but if they'd been stopped, they'd have been stuck out in the middle of the street, absolutely no cover.
Once she'd caught her breath, Nyx rubbed her hip where she'd bruised it earlier and flipped her knife in her hand, pulling herself off the wall. "Alright Monday," she whispered, "where to next?"
Sorry about this... I got distracted.
Avalon walked into the pawn shop. Jericho sighed, "If you want to hang with us you can. We're just trying to get out. Now if you'll excuse me I have to watch Miss Big Blue Hair..."
Jericho followed her with his tomahawk unsheathed.

They make their way, cautiously pushing open the door of the old pawn shop. Suddenly the blue haired girl -- who called herself Ava -- was attacked and Kaylie gets her pistol ready.
"I think we interrupted dinner, guys." Kaylie says, looking as more come from the back of the store, blood dripping from their crooked, lifeless smiles.
Barely breaking stride when they reached the opposite alley, he only slowed to a meager trot so she could catch up, "Keep going," He replied simply, slipping his machete out of its glossed leather scabbard, "It's not far, just up the alley," Up the alley, and around the corner, with only a few Walkers milling aimlessly about between them and their freedom - Walkers that had already turned their milky unblinking eyes on them and had begun their awkward shuffle in their direction. Picking up the pace a little to take point, he stuck to his side of the broad alleyway, and snatched the closest one by its outstretched wrist. Using its own momentum against the clumsy shambler, he flung it backwards to let her take care of the stumbling disoriented corpse, and with a sharp grunt and a sickening 'splot,' slammed his machete into the scalp of the Walker behind it.
Still in motion, he just pressed on, quickly building momentum, "Home stretch, c'mon!" He snarled internally to his aching body, forcibly willing his limbs to keep right on pumping despite how they screamed at him to stop. Stiff-arming another set of out-stretched rasping hands, he hurled the Walker to the concrete and leapt right over it, slicing the one that had just worked itself to its feet a few meager meters down the alley through the neck as he sprinted past, toppling its head from its shoulders with a dull wet thud on the concrete. Almost there!
Confident she was still right on his tail, he only paused for a brief glance at the mouth of the alley before he booked it straight across the street and into the narrow driveway of the household across from it. Well-concealed between the white picket fences of the two homes, he finally stopped, and immediately slung his bag off his shoulder, using the momentum to hurl it up and over with a strained grunt.
"Thank fucking Christ," He thought to himself a bit breathlessly, double-checking over his shoulder and then back toward the street again, sinking down to one knee. Hands cupped, fingers laced, all he had to do was wait, now. He'd be her step-stool for this one; up and over!
S'okay, this reply isn't that great anyway. :|
"Ava! Get back outside!" He fired the remainder of his magazine into the horde in the back of the room as he moved backwards. "Phoenix! Go with her! Move! move!"
Jericho made it back out to the street as he holstered the Springfield and unslung his ACR. He lined up his holographic sight with the first walker or runner or whatever the heck it was and squeezed the trigger. The head popped and the body dropped. Jericho kept moving backwards as he let loose controlled single shots from his ACR. Empty brass casings littered the ground as fire erupted from the barrel of his beloved ACR.

Avalon dashed out of e pawn shop as Jericho started shooting and hauling ass to get back outside. Once she was outside she quickly spotted a dumpster that she could use to get onto of one of the buildings, she sprinted to the dumpster jumping onto and grabbing the edge of the small buildings roof and flinging herself up. She rolled and popped up on her feet kneeling and drawing her bow knocking arrow after arrow and letting them lose on the hoard racing after him. One down two down three, and they just kept coming. As she ran out of arrows she whipped out her handguns and started picking them off as they came.

Ava looked at Jericho and nodded counting the number of walkers that were down there as she reloaded and setthe pistols back in their holsters before pulling out her hunting knives. "Well theres no where else to go. So what now? We just wait for them to climb up to us and have us for lunch?" She said staying crouched and ready to jump at anything that came near them. She wished nothing more but for Nyx to be there. Nix was always to smart one who came up with the plans for escape, and Ava? She had always been the brute force that pushed the plans through. "Fuck me!" She swore and closed her eyes. "I just had to go poking my head around where it wasn't needed."

So much was happening at once, and not to mention she was almost out of ammo. She holds onto Bosco's collar and smirks, taking out her throwing knives and she tosses two of her throwing knives and they hit right in the middle of two zombie's heads with a wet thud. She runs over grabbing her knives and turns to Jericho.
"C'mon, princess, we aint got all day," She whistles for Bosco and they begin to run towards the dumpster and hop up on top of the roof. She helps Bosco up and they carefully walk across the tops to Ava.
Kaylie's eyes flash towards the other man who'd just popped up -- Tim -- and sighs.
"And who the hell are you?"

Jericho couldn't stand by and watch a peson who is obviously hurting and not do anything. He put his right arm around her to give Ava a little comfort. Hey, don't be like that. I was the one that said we should go in there."
Feeling a little relief that they were all safe Jericho still couldn't help but think about the Hunter that got away. He let go of Ava and pushed the mag release on his ACR to release the mag and slapped in a fresh Pmag. He then cocked back the charging handle and loaded a round into the barrel.
Another survivor called them over to the safety of his building, Jericho turned around. "Well, what do ya say girls?" Then he noticed fast movement coming out of the store. "We better decide quickly!" Then a figure came out on all fours from the shop and Jericho aimed at it.

"It doesn't matter who the hell he is right now, he's our only chance of getting out of this mess." She said. She picked her bow up and slung it over her shoulders mentally kicking herself in the ass for not being able to get the arrows that had been stuck into the mindless freaks heads. She set her hand on Jericho's shoulder and nodded at the girl with her dog before hopping up onto the other building and sticking her hand out to the guy. "Names Avalon, now that thing down there on all fours? He's not gonna have a problem getting up here. So let's go." She said as she started to walk across the roof.

While Nyx had been catching her breath, Monday had kept moving, speeding off down the alley. With a sigh, she shoved herself off the wall and gripped her knife tightly in hand, racing after him. Thankfully, he slowed just enough to let her catch up before picking up the pace again. Ahead of them, a few lone Walkers milled, but that wasn't too bad. She could tell by the urgency in his walk that either they weren't far, he didn't have much longer to go, or both. She herself, didn't know if she could last another hour.
Keeping to the right, just behind him, Nyx caught the Walker he threw back to her and used her knife to stab it in the back of the neck, severing the spinal cord in one fluid movement. Without stopping, she yanked her knife from the body and pushed on, flipping the knife in her hand so that she was gripping the handle with the tip pointed up towards herself.
The next walker she caught, Nyx slammed it hard on the head between the eyes with the hilt of her knife. A sickening crack filled the air when she broke the creatures skull, and it dropped like a stone. Without hesitating, she followed after Monday. Ahead of her, he sliced the head clean off one of the walkers, a few stray drops of blood landing on her cheek and in her blonde hair.
At a white picket fence, he threw his bag over and crouched, lacing his fingers together, ready to help her over. Thank god. She wasn't so sure she could hop another fence on her own right now. Using all her remaining strength, Nyx hurled her bag over the fence and placed a hand firmly on Monday's shoulder, stepping firmly into the basket he'd made with his hands.
He pushed her up, and Nyx reached for the top of the fence, grabbing it on time to swing herself in a high arch over to the other side where she landed hard. Rolling to a stop, she leapt to her feet and grabbed her bag, sliding it over her now aching shoulder as she waited for him to appear over the fence.

"Jericho!" Ava heard her herself screaming as the hunter lunged at him. She took off in a sprint and grabbed onto him pulling him out of the hunter's way as he was shooting. Quickly she was spun kicking her leg up and landing the kick straight to the hunters head as she spun and stuck her leg out again tripping the hunter on it's back. She pulled her knife from her thigh strap and swung it down on the hunters head as it struggled to regain it's balance. She twisted the knife and stumbled back panting from exhaustion. She turned and looked at Jericho before rushing over to him and hugging him tightly.
"Haul ass and leave it in the dust next time. Stopping to kill it isn't worth getting killed." She said quietly before stepping back awkwardly and looking down. "Let's go." She said again as she grabbed her bow and slung it over her shoulder.

"You had it?!" she yelled as she turned on Tim. "No you didn't. If you had it you would have been on that thing before me! If I hadn't acted he would be dead!" She yelled again. "You did not have him because in the time it took for me to move all you did was get ready to make a move that would have been to late." She yelled ready to punch him. She had no idea why but seeing Jericho nearly killed upset her badly, even though they just met only an hour or so ago. Closing her eyes she sighed and turned calming herself down. "Next time don't think. Act."

Suddenly Jericho was pulled violently out of the way of the Hunter's path. He lost his footing as he fell to the ground and watched his savior.
Little Miss Blue Hair.
She had managed to kill the Hunter without much of a problem. Jericho watched her in awe as she came forward and hugged him tightly. For a brief second, Jericho felt... warm.
"Haul ass and leave it in the dust next time. Stopping to kill it isn't worth getting killed." Ava had said as she turned away and motioned for everyone to go. Jericho whispered, "Thanks..."
Jericho then witnessed Ava blow up on this new guy. Then she mentioned he hid behind a dumpster, Jericho has seen his type before but he would never stand idly by as a person's life was in danger. But its ok, maybe Jericho could show him what true courage is one day.
He stood behind Ava and hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear "Babe its alright, we can't flip out now. My number one priority is to get us out of here. So let's see what this guy can do." He let go and couldnt help but wonder why he did that.
The guy led his group to a bar and motioned for them to take everything they could carry. He looked at everyone else "Well?"

Ava tensed slightly feeling Jericho's arms around her and then relaxed as he whispered in her ear. She sighed as he let go and followed them to the bar. She scanned the place looking for every exit in the room by force of habit and she started planning escapes in case the bar became over run at any time. Once she finished going through every possible situation she sat down at one of the tables. "I'm fine for now." She said as she pulled a can of fruit out of her backpack. "Tim? Sorry for freaking out on you. I honestly don't know what got into me back there."
