Yukkuri is a small (fictional!) city in western Japan, famous for its enormous academy that houses some of Japan's best and brightest youth, and the site of a zombie infestation! The usually calm, serene town is now going to hell, with the high school being the epicenter of the sinister magic that has summoned the dark spirits from the depths of hell to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting students.

Yukkuri Academy is a large, multi-building establishment, tailoring to all of the students needs and talents, including four dorms, a track, a sports arena, and a class building, as well as an indoor pool, parking lot, and greenhouse. Recently it has become the site of a terrible zombie outbreak, leaving most of the staff and students as walking corpses. The hallways are killing floors, swarmed with zombies and bodies, and the arena has quite a large zombie population as well. The pool and school yard, as well as the sports courts and track are more safe, although you should still be aware that there are a large number of zombies outside the school buildings as well. The dorms are arguably the safest spot, as most were either doing sports or in class when the spell was cast.

Just a short hour ago, you were sitting in class, or doing some other school-related thing, when somehow, you came across the shocking reality the your school has become Infested with the walking dead. You don't know how, and most of you don't know why, but what you do know is how to survive. In some way, your talents have, surprisingly (Or not so surprisingly) been very useful in surviving the undead onslaught.

The Zombies are, for the most part, slow, and shambling, but able to withstand severe punishment, with the only way to stop them being to incapacitate or decapitate them.

What the characters don't know, is that the invasion has been brought on by one of their own, a student who has been bullied and tortured, and is using the flesh eaters to get revenge on his/her schoolmates. He has also summoned a few, more powerful zombies, that will come into play later on.

All hope is not lost however, as three students of Yukkuri academy are trained Zombie Hunters, and were prepared for such an occasion. The Zombie Hunters are an ancient order devoted to eradicating the moaning menace from earth, and keeping it a secret from the rest of the world. The often move around a lot, and this generation's number is quite large.
