Personality: Aika has a rather volatile and undetermined personality. Misunderstandings about his name, meaning ‘Love Song’, which is a girl’s, his incredible intellect coupled with his inability to purposely make faults, people stepping on vegetation and his small body structure are several of the sensitive things that a person should never mention when around Aika. He is unable to do anything about his name, other than utilizing his surname when introducing himself and forgoing the introduction of his name, hence making him seem rude without intending to. He seems dim-witted, clumsy and idiotic at first glance, which is actually done on purpose and also partly due to his specialized specs. He seems to have difficulty reading even with his ‘spectacles’ on, and so usually lets others read for him instead. He is easily angered and can be very explosive if one talks about his name or height and even more so if they jab at it to tease him. He also has a dislike for being viewed as an Academic Genius and believes that the things he learns in school are not used in daily life. However, he is usually very docile and has a green-thumb, can be a very sweet individual if treated the same way. Aika is also visibly relaxed and an avid- gamer, something that he took to in order to try and lower his grades. At times he may seem very helpless due to his small stature and needs to be rescued often, but he can stand up for himself very well, he just doesn’t feel the need to. Another aspect of Aika is that he is very secretive and prefers not to reveal too much about himself or the things that he is capable of achieving or doing. He has an excellent common sense and has a fast acting mind, ready to devise plans at a moment’s notice immediately. He is also very humane and unable to kill a fellow human being or any living creature. Aika may also cry during certain situations, having a soft-heart. That being said, Aika is, once again I repeat, very volatile and has a gradual mood swings from time to time.

History: From a very young age, Aika has constantly been asked about his name. At the same time, he has also praised for being such an academic prodigy and a ‘perfection’ for never making mistakes. Because of this, Aika skipped grades several times and constantly switched schools, because he was still too young to enter college. Overtime both situations got to Aika and he came to resent his name and his intellect. School became boring, and he purposely tried to flunk his tests, but it never happened. He also tried to force himself to commit mistakes, but he could never do so. Finally, as a last resort, he had specialized specs designed to detain his sight in order for him to commit mistakes and be ‘human’. He also developed an idiotic façade so that people wouldn’t see him as the ‘Academic Prodigy’ he was said to be. Aika has a fondness for nature and loves animals, always seen mucking around in the garden, weeding or planting seeds, as well as playing with family pets, since he was a child. As he grew older, his body stature was considered quite effeminate to people and they jabbed at that aspect, making Aika feel weak and small. To overcome this problem, he took to boxing, secretly, as his parents weren’t fond of their son participating in dangerous activities. Despite boxing, his stature remained unchanged, although Aika’s strength increased. At the age of 16, he still stood shorter than most of the other students in his school.
In his recent school, Yukkuri Academy, Aika has managed to maintain a low profile, being seen as a gamer who has no interest in studying, thanks to his spectacles, his new-found hobby in gaming and his idiotic façade. He continually practices boxing when he is alone to be stronger. What seemed to be just a regular day in the boring school became a total nightmare when a random student entered their class and attacked their teacher. As pandemonium ensued, in order to survive, for the first time in Yukkuri Academy, Aika removed his spectacles in public and charged through the school campus, skilfully evading the things that he could only describe as ‘zombies’, using the school as his own weapon. He managed to survive.
But what now?

Weapon: Anything he can get his hands on.

Skills: Boxing reflexes make his reaction time faster than average, his intellect and common sense give him a good edge in utilizing the battlefield to his advantage, an excellent tactician, great eyesight without spectacles on, inability to make mistakes.

Other:
- He wears specialized spectacles that were designed to be blurry, in order to give rise to Aika being able to make mistakes and be unable to read or write properly. However, after wearing such an item, Aika gradually developed an even better sense of sight and hand-eye coordination.
- Because Aika usually boxes with a sparring partner and wears protective gear, Aika has low tolerance to pain as he hasn’t been taking tolerance training. However, he does pack quite a punch for such a small, compact body.
- Aika has interesting sideburns, because once they get wet, either due to water or sweat, they start curling on their own. Aika dislikes this because it makes him look even more effeminate.
- You have candy? He’s a friend. You have marshmallows? You have a new best friend… Just kidding. But he’ll be nicer to you, that’s for sure.
