Under My Shell

|❈Physical Apperance❈ | "Pretty? Maybe. Do I care at this point? No."
Lanky and looking more femmine than some say he should, Anastasiy stands at a height of five feet eleven inches. His hair, possible the most distracting thing that they say about him, runs all the way down to the his knees if left the hang. He's rather pale skinned, but said skin is marred by scars of an origin that he wishes not to discuss. His eyes are a gray color, one that make people think of mercury most of the time.

|❈Personality❈ | "I have two sides to me, one I'd rather not talk about."
There are two sides to this kid, one that most people get to see and another that he would rather not make itself known. Most of the time, Stasis is rather agreeable, if not hospitable to those around him. He almost never thinks of himself when others are around, but most of the time, he keeps to himself but keeps an upbeat disposition...even though when he's alone he can be rather depressing.
On the other hand, do not let that sunny personality fool you. This deadman is one that is to be feared due to his preexisting mental state. It can be described by his sister as "a raging animal in the form of a boy", The smell of blood sets off his animalistic rage inside him and can linger until he is knocked unconscious, killed or exhausted from fighting or bloodloss. It would seem that he looses all human thought at this point, but he actually becomes more cunning for his own survival and less likely to care what happens to the opponent by his hand. He can remember what happened during these fits, but often says that he can't really stop himself so long as blood lingers around.

|❈History❈ | "Must we talk about this here?"
Russian by birth; Stasis and his sister were transfer students while in japan, but still a bit on the lost side from being foreign in japan. They did relatively well in their classes until they had been framed for the murders of their roommates. Both were sent to Deadman Wonderland for their "crimes" and allowed to placed together. Liliya was often the one protecting Stasis from harm while stasis started to build a knack for stealing their life saving candies and cast points.
The day he was sent to G-Ward was the day he found out he was deadman and the day his mental state was found to be useful for him to survive. He was separated from his sister for a short time, but long enough to be cornered to be cornered by thugs in the locker room. He was beaten for a short time, enough for his blood to pool from his noise and for him to smell it. His branch of sin manifested there and managed to brutally kill two of them and seriously injure a third. He was able to get back to his sister and tell her what happened before he was taken again to G-Ward.
Now an unwilling participant in the Carnival Corpse, he has won all of his matches so far, but still feels like he has blood on his hands.

|❈Friends❈| "They're alright, not that I may see them again though."
YOU'RE ANSWER(Can be added later

|❈Enemies❈| "I'd rather not see them...in this world again."
YOU'RE ANSWER(Can be added later)

|❈Family❈| "I have family, I wish I could see them though."
Mother-deceased
Father-deceased
siblings- sister: Liliya Arazov

|❈Techniques❈ | "Many things I don't like to use, but to survive here...I must let the beast out."
-Branch of sin-Vulture's claw: His branch of sin makes him resemble less of a bird and more of a four legged animal. His blood wraps around his arms and legs and makes them resemble large claws and paws (that resemble more of a werewolf paw when other people are asked.) due to them becoming longer from the blood. Because of this, he is more mobile in running away from his opponent and closing the distance or giving the killing blow. There is one way to know when this B.o.S (as well as his fits) is coming on. Even with the scars of him slicing his arms and legs his branch of sin starts to manifest in the form of what looks like red hairs starting to form on his arms and legs and blood claws forming on his toes and nails.
This is the one he uses the most.

-Agility: No one is sure wither this is because of his branch of sin, his mental condition or just a habit, but he tends to fight on all fours or at least low to the ground to make himself faster. He even runs away on all fours if in a fight outside of carnival corpse.

-B.o.S- Spear of ares: his long ranged attack, normally used to keep most things at bay until he can find an opening. More of a utillity rather than an attack.

-poi: swinging tethered mounds around in a distracting manner that had once been a hobby of his and still is. He is able to do this with his branch of sin as an attack and to keep people away or to entertain those around him with handmade poi.

Personality

Stasis's condition:

Aside from the fact that Anastasiy can seen as a weak deadman due to his rather skiddish nature, there is a reason for this. His mental condition has actually made him more dangerous to most people than they realize. Ever since the attack on him and his subsequent transfer to G-Ward, looks more like a nervous wreck rather than a crazed deadman.

However, looks can be rather deceiving as he can quickly fall into a animalistic rage more akin to a beast that feeds on carrion. Along with a branch of sin that never seems to let him die, he has been known to become a menace in the ring and watches as his opponent wears themselves down in trying to hit him before getting mauled once they can't fight anymore. He is cunning in this state and violent if having to fight face to face in close combat. Usually resorting to keeping the other either at bay or claw them and use under handed tactics to incapacitate them.

He's done a well enough job of keeping these fit either in the ring or in private for the most part and letting others seen his normal personality as he usually make himself as unnoticeable as possible or at least look like the least threatening person in the room so as to be left alone.

So begins...

Liliya
Another day in the Deadman's wonderland. Another day without one's little brother was like one eternity after another. The blood lilly lay in her cell, staring up at the ceiling humming a solemn tune to herself, feeling the eary silence that had fallen upon the cell since her brother had been taken. "Naptime is over kiddo. Time to wake up." she muttered to herself as she dropped from her top bunk. The bottom bunk had been left as it was: messy like someone had just woken up and wondered out of bed. Liliya sighed to herself as she looked at the now unowned bed. "Little apollonite, my tundra green. May troubles be far from your mind." she sighed to herself as she leaned against the wall.

This place was hell and she had taken her place here and nothing would cool her searing anger for too long. She looked up at the ceiling again, thinking she hand heard something from above and in this place, that could have been anything.

She wandered out of her cell, hands in pockets and head down as if watching her feet and glasses sliding off her face with every step. "Where have they taken you small one? Your blood sister wonders about you."

Anastasiy
G-Ward was a miserable place. Deadmen walked and talked among themselves. Stasis had been watching the carnival corpse, the fight against the blue swallow had been brutal for her opponent. It was useless for the deadman, she had been victorious and stasis feeling his sickness again. The welling up of the bloodlust that had been ever present since he had been brought to G-Ward. Being a deadman here was more like being an animal in a cage. The bloodlust had been his blessing and curse at the same time. His way to survive, but also his difficulty coming out of it served as a warning to others he wasn't what he seemed.

He twirled his hair a bit, tilting his head in a direction of a sound. One familiar and one that irritated him to no end. "Cursed Cardinal." He muttered to himself as he realized what it was. His "neighbor" and one of her boy toys again. It was always the same, and the same thought ran through the same thought every time. Either she was a bimbo or she was torturing someone. And in G-Ward, the vulture learned very quickly that anything can go. He did note that looking as femmine as he was often kept her from approaching him for the time being. For that, He was grateful.

"Damnit! I'm leaving already! If you're gonna screw someone, at least shut him up with a ball gag or something!" He yelled in a way to be heard through the walls to his neighbor. He wandered out of his room and into the hall, trying to keep from loosing his mind and keeping his hair from whipping his face. He growled low and quietly to himself, bloodlust every present with only his dwindling will to keep the beast at bay.

Anastasiy

The smell of a recent blood bath made Stasis shiver, his own issues threatening to boil over right there. "What's the point? There's always more of them anyway." He said to himself as he covered his nose and mouth as he passed by the corpses, not bothering to look at them.

He could feel himself getting sleepy again, knowing that the reason for it was being locked in G-Ward all the time had all but nulled his ablility to know the time of day it was. He wasn't even sure where in Wonderland they were, but that didn't even matter anymore. Why give sun to those who may never see it again in a day or two?

He passed by the gym, normally a place he avoided in place of letting his branch of sin take over in battle, but for once there was someone he hadn't met. Meaning there was a chance to at least make a friend in the hell hole. However, The male was still careful for most of the deadmen he had met so far had been people he would rather stay away from at any cost.

He moved himself to the opposite side of the gym, not really making himself known to the other and pulled out a pair of weighted socks from out of his sleeve. he started spinning them as if he were preforming with them. A small hobby that had put money on the table on the outside and now kept him sane on the inside as well as a viable weapon at time. He hit himself a couple times, making an audible but soft "thud" every now and again. He still watched the other male, hoping not to be attacked on sight by the other deadman. As was his way to keep sanity, run from a fight when one can.

Nani

"Damnit! I'm leaving already! If you're gonna screw someone, at least shut him up with a ball gag or something!" came the voice from the otherside of her wall.

Nani had been cleaning up the mess of blood from the deadman she had tortured to death. 'tch like i would ever let someone screw me only he can do that'she thought to herself a low growl escaped her lips. Nani had been refering to the one man, the man who would save her from this hell would be the one to have her in bed then he will kill her only then will she be happy. "not yet they are all to weak for that" she mumured to herself queitly.

washing her hands Nani pulled her hair into a pony tail, wearing a loose blouse and jeans. she always made sure her clothing hugged her body in just the right places. smiling at herself in the mirror she walked out of her cell not long after Anastasiy passed by her room. she began to wonder the halls of G-ward only to come across what once was a place of bloody corpse but now they were all covered by white sheets though the blood has begun to soak through in some places. Nani crouched beside one of the corpses and lifted up the sheet to peer at what lay beneath it, a pleasant smile spread on her lips.

"looks like someone had fun" and looked up as a crowd began to form looking at the sheets mumuring about the big baddies of G-Ward who must have done it. knowing from personal info and experiance she knew the rumors were lies since they were all weak bastards who thought they could use other peoples work as their own to spread fear umong the weaker deadmen. smirking she looked at one of the deadmen who had mentioned Sparrows name, he was by far one of the weakest Deadmen around but how he managed to win was simply by cheating before and during the Carnival Corpse.

"that weak bastard could never have done this it was someone else so dont go dirtying this mans work with that disgusting name"her tone blunt as she peered beneath the sheets again. "the hell do you think you are you slutty whore, do you know who my boss is huh do ya bitch!" the same man from before walked up to her grabbing a chunk of her hair in his hand as he pulled her up halfway from the ground. "ha you dont even amount to knowing my name you weak little bastard" sneering at him. this only made the man even more made as he threw her against the wall. "i think this little whore needs to be taught a lesson and my look at that body of yours" suddenly grabbing her from behind one arm snaked around her neck while the other went for a lower target her breast as he began to fondle it. Nani became quiet her anger was rising and fast at being touched in such a way "let go of me if you want that ugly arm of yours to still be inctact when im through with you and your little junkies"pretty much spitting out the word 'you' as if it was a dirty word.

"go to hell you stupid bitch" he yelled at her before throwing her against the wall again, he pulled out a knife, lightly cutting his wrist as his blood began to form into a kind of drill. "see this is my power you little bitch so be prepared to die"kackling in the end as he advanced on her. little did he and his friends know just who it was they were facing the feared Cardinal, "you regret you called me that"a smile on her face.

Innes hadn't even broken a sweat when he heard a soft thudding noise. Although he tensed slightly, he didn't turn to find the source until the heard it another couple times.

"Enjoying yourself?" his voice had a slightly hoarse, mechanical sounds to it, though not everyone would notice it. It would be easy to piece together, however, with the rather large scar on his neck.

He finally turned to look at the other person, whom he didn't recognize. He'd never really been one to pay attention to the fights unless it was someone he knew he'd be up against in the near future. At first glance, the person looked like a girl, though after a moment's further observation, he came to the conclusion that they were, indeed, a boy, although a very pretty one. Absently, he figured that so long as the boy was there, he may as well talk to him.

"My name's Innes, by the way. Mind if I ask yours? It's always nice to put a name to a face." he smiled at the boy, though he couldn't quite figure out why he had. Maybe he'd just gotten too used to Deadman Wonderland after 7 years.

Tugging lightly at the edge of his beanie, which had shifted up to expose his forehead, he leaned against the wall as he waited for an answer. He was surprised, however, to find his mind wandering in the direction of how he could draw the green-haired man and his unique talent with the weighted socks.

Anastasiy

The thudding started to lessen once stasis started getting his bearings again and soon was swinging them like had been doing it for years. It looked effortless enough, though all the amount of times he hit himself proved otherwise. He looked up at the male, now knowing that this one wasn't hostile. He nodded, stopping the weighted socks in place before letting them drop to his sides.

"Anastasiy. But Stasis is fine." he said, nodding and scratching the back of his head. He still wasn't sure whether to trust this Deadman as of yet as other have seemed welcoming and then tried to pray on him in a time of...'weakness'. "Working out for a Carnival Corpse or no? If you don't mind me asking of course." He said, putting his hands up defensively and his accent coming through somewhat. Unsure if he would take offence to the question, he took a step back just in case. Even after being in Deadman Wonderland for about three years (in G-Ward for only a few months now), he was wary of everything and nearly everyone at this point. This male was no exception....no matter how short he was.

Innes was half-startled when the boy actually answered him, jerking him out of his thoughts. He hadn't entirely expected an answer, though he was happy to have one.

Innes nodded. "Lovely to meet you, Stasis."
When the boy asked a question, he tilted his head slightly, considering his answer. "Yes and no, I suppose. Ah, and don't worry. I've been here long enough to get over myself." he chuckled. "I don't have a match for another couple days. I think I mostly come here just to pass the time. The only other things to do are draw or rot away in bed, so this is actually pretty nice."

From the boy's accent when he spoke, he took a rough guess that Stasis was Russian, though he wasn't entirely certain from the sliver of it that he'd caught. He didn't ask, though. Even he used to take at least a little offense to people asking about his accent, when he still had a prominent one.

"So what brings you here? Out for a jaunt through the madhouse?" he made a wide gesture to bring their surroundings to attention.

Stasis seemed harmless enough, though he wasn't sure about the fact that the boy was over a foot taller than him. His height was definitely the best way to get to him, since he'd always felt disadvantaged by it, or rather his lack of it. Most people, when they met him, thought him naught more than a little kid and often treated him as such.

Stasis sighed in relief now that he was sure that Innes wasn't going to attack him. He started twirling one of his socks around as she nodded. "Da, Same reason sort of, Either I sleep and loose track of time or keep myself busy. That and my neighbor was being...loud to say the least. But I know I'm still a newbie down here." He said, glancing out the door for a second.

His head perked up for a second, hearing something along the lines of a yell but couldn't make it out. Maybe it was a good thing that sitting in his room in the dark after matches was a good thing from time to time. "I've met some of the others, but either they think I'm a girl or they try to attack me." Stasis shivered at the thought, the memory of his first few days before his first match. Sure, he knew it wasn't going to be sunshine and roses but didn't realized that there was death all around at that rate.

His head perked up again, hearing the sound of screaming. Screams of death and the dying. "Somevone can't keep themselves from the bloodshed from the sound of it." he said, starting to twirling the other sock now. He could feel his own bloodlust starting to boil from the sound of dying in the distance. He took a deep breath, not wanting to loose himself to the madness here. He whispered something in russian to himself, tightening his grip on the socks as he started to comeback from calming himself down. "I'm just glad I was...lucky to have won my matches so far." He shivered at bit, knowing that he often refused to watch the penalty game afterwards out of guilt or being unable to due to his madness not wearing off or being too exhausted to watch and opting to sleep instead. And that was the ones that didn't die by his beast.

"I think that's what most people do here. That or kill people for the hell of it, apparently." Innes raised an eyebrow pointedly as a scream echoed down the halls. "My guess is that someone in the pub pissed off someone they shouldn't've."
"Still new, huh? It's rare to find a guy that isn't crazed like King Fisher make it that long in here nowadays. Not that it was a cakewalk when I was tossed in, but..." he trailed off as Anastasiy spoke again, bobbing his head every now and then to show his attentiveness.

"I can't imagine why they'd think you a girl. Sure you're awfully pretty like one, but anyone that isn't blind can tell by looking at your face." Innes shrugged. "I understand the attacking though. "There're lot's of crazy bastards down here that can't seem to find any better entertainment." he sighed, pulling off his beanie momentarily to push his hair away from his face. Even if he did remember that he hadn't brushed his hair when he got up, he wouldn't have particularly cared. "Ah, I meant to say that if you ever feel like talking to anyone, I guess I'm the guy to come to. Unless you can find another person in here that isn't batshit crazy all the time."

The screaming instantly raised Innes' body temperature, his blood instinctively preparing for him to release it and burn any threats. Taking a slight pause to calm his roiling lifeblood, he pulled on his beanie and completely missed what Stasis had said, not that he would have been able to translate it if he had heard. With the boy's next words, Innes' hand reflexively brushed across the scar on his throat as he briefly recalled the nightmare he'd had earlier. His Scottish accent, or what broken pieces of it were left, wove their way into his speech without him even realizing it, distracted as he was.

"Very lucky." he forced his hand back to his side. "I don't know about you, but I've never had the stomach to watch the penalty games. It goes against what morals I have left, even if I could watch it without chancing a second date with my lunch." half a smirk made its way to his face briefly.
"So, on another topic, does this fancy sock-swinging talent of yours have a name? I've got to admit that it's very intriguing. It'd be lovely to draw-" he barely finished the last word before he shut his mouth, having realized what he'd said.

The fact that he found art as his second pastime wasn't exactly something that he wanted to shout out to the rest of the facility unthinkingly, and especially not if he wanted to stick close to the shadows, like he'd been doing for most of his time here. Most people only saw him on his way to and from either the gym or matches, so he'd mostly managed to avoid notice. Of course, he'd found some time to talk to at least a couple people in the facility, though he wasn't exactly on 'best friend' terms with any of them.

"I don't watch them. I feel gulty when about those that have to go thought it." Stasis said, recalling the wins that he could remember. He watched his first one long ago, and vow never to watch them again unless he was forced to. Not that anyone could at the moment for he was usually out of his room and drinking in the pub during the penalty box.

"And vhen someone walks up on you from behind, then the face does nothing to give you avay. And sometimes they don't look you in the face at first." he rolled his eyes. "I've even gotten away from vith changing in the girl's locker room most of the time. They just thought I vas shy." Stasis laughed to himself, finding it mildly amusing.

Stasis started to twirl* his socks again, letting the weight of them move him for the most part. "It's called Poi. Fun for those who like swinging things around as a child and a good excuse to play with fire. Not sure how you would draw something moving." He stalled them again, his hair flinging into his face once he stopped. "And Dun vorry, I don't judge. We all have our past times. "

He shivered a bit, hoping for the screaming to die down soon. A slightly irritated look crossed his face as he was thinking about going to the pub to eat, but now would have to eat in his room until it was cleaned up. "Thankfully I horde extra sodas and food in my room until that's cleaned up." He said, crossing his arms and tapping his foot on the ground. The crossing showed scars, the scars of him using his branch of sin recently or from being cut at some point recently. "Vho is King Fisher? I don't think I've met him as of yet. Or do I not vant to?"

Innes nodded, but didn't care to continue the topic of the penalty games. There seemed to be plenty of bad memories in the subject for him. All that the topic brought back was the nightmares that had been recurring lately. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy fighting, but he never found it to be fair to cut out a part of someone without them even getting a chance to fight back. In some cases it would've almost been more merciful to kill them in the fight. Of course, he'd never been much for killing a person that might actually have a chance for survival. Morals were certainly a pain to have in a place like Deadman Wonderland. On the other hand, they seemed to be one of the last things Innes had left.

When the topic moved back to people judging by apparent appearances, he chuckled. "I've had that happen to me too, though less of people thinking I'm a girl and more of them thinking I'm ten. Well, at least no one's picking me up and twirling around."
"Poi, huh?" he watched, fascinated, as Stasis began twirling the socks around him again. "It's very graceful. And I don't imagine it'd be too terribly difficult to draw them in motion. People are hard because there are so many complicated mechanics in their every movement. Poi seems to be a lot more graceful. Ah, sorry, I seem to be talking a wee too much." he chuckled.

Catching Stasis' shiver, he glanced toward the door. "If you like we can go sit elsewhere to talk. The screaming certainly isn't my favorite background noise." as he said that the screaming intensified and then abruptly stopped.
"Well, at least it's quiet now. I can't say I don't feel sorry for the poor bastards though." he was contemplating whether he really wanted to explain who King Fisher was or not, and after a final glance toward the door, he decided he might as well.

"King Fisher is a bloody story if ever there was one. He goes by any number of names that I've heard. King Fisher, Shark, Cross, The Beast, all fitting names for that horror story. If I remember right, he's only sixteen, but that's certainly no reason to underestimate him. I don't think I've seen him but once or twice outside of Carnival Corpse, but he's supposedly one of the most ruthless, crazy, and powerful Deadman in this joint. He's one of those that has nothing better to do than kill when he's not locked in his cell." he sighed and leaned against the wall, rubbing at a knot in his shoulder. "What I wouldn't do for a bit of sunlight right now."

Stasis shivered at the description of the king fisher. Yet another person on the list of people not to run into on this ward. "At this rate, I might just become a hermit." He said rubbing the back of his neck. He threw the sock up into the air and let it land on the top of his head to balance there while wrapping the other around his sleeve. He did the same with the other once satisfied with the grip of the first.

"I doubt the pub is appropriate to talk in right now since the screaming's stopped." He said, now imagining the bloodbath in there and his subsequent mental breakdown after smelling it or even looking at it if it was as bad as it imagined. He sighed. "Vhat Ve all wouldn't give for helios's grace right now. It's like wandering the Asphodel Fields in here from day to day." He muttered, noting that the lighting wasn't as bright as it could be.

"But anyway. I'm up for sitting around and talking. Doesn't seem like anyone's going to come by for a vhile anyvay."

Liliya gave a nod, going back to her own food once satisfied that she didn't see anyone else in the mess hall. She was always amused at the little one's antics and how quickly he could start a scene without actually being in it. Then again. Some of his antics have had her involved without her notice.

"At least no one here vill be at a loss for cast point. I have many cards if you ever in need of some extra cast. A welcoming gift if you will." She said to Pockets before dipping her head into the bowl to get the last of the broth into her system.

As much as Stasis liked talking to someone he now knew wasn't going to be hostile to him unless provoked, he also had his own demons to deal with. The green haired male started to feel...off. His hands shaking and a laughing sound that only he could hear. "Sorry...but I'm not feeling too well...but I hope to see you around." He said before running out the gym. He knew that the carnival corpse wasn't his fight, but it was always the same. He could hold his bloodlust for too long on fight days. Someone always came back smelling of blood and it always made him loose it or become dangerously close.

Blood forced itself from his cuticles and skin, making it look like he was growing claws and fine red fur on his arms. "N-n-not here.....Please." he said as he supported himself with the wall. As he walked, he scrapped his claws on the wall, making a shrill noise and leaving lines in the wall.

His inner beast wanted a fight, but stasis wasn't one to fight without a cause. His steps were labored, but still moving. He didn't want to be caught in this state. No deadman yet had seen him in this state and at this point he'd rather keep it this way.

His bloodlust was starting to subside, now able to keep away the beast for now. Even though the smell of alot of blood or even pain could be a trigger, he shuffled himself away down one of the halls to calm himself down. Nevermind the fact that he wasn't ever really noticed by any other deadman outside the ring, a good thing to keep him rather sane, but other times there was a reason that no one noticed him.

He walked down the hall watching his surroundings until he noticed a couple of other males down the hall, mostly in idle chat. Nothing that he hadn't seen before a simple pass by would do. As he walked past them, he felt a quick tug on his hair and then a sharp pull. "New birdy looks more like a songbird than a vulture." one of them said as stasis tugged his head forward. "Please guys. I don't vant trouble for anyone." Stasis said, feeling the beast coming back to haunt them. But the men didn't listen, a second male giving him a swift punch in the gut.

Knocking the wind out of him, the beating started. Being riddiculed for not fighting back all the while, called a wuss and a bitch for not letting the blood fly.

It was too much.

A large paw grabbed one of the men and slammed him into the wall behind them. The other two men seemed to freeze in place as the male that was pinned struggled to get free. He screamed as the other paw threw the other man out down the hall before tearing the throat out of his prey with his teeth before biting other chucks out of his face and shoulder. Eatting him alive. Only in the ring did he eat and disgrace the newly dead. Outside it, the living who deserve it he had not a single problem with this habit.
The sound of gerggling blood and crunching bone from captive prey was loud and Stasis's beast sated. His own blood receded back into his body once the man was no longer able to fight back, but still he feasted on his flesh. The other two men screamed in fear and ran having been witness to Stasis's feasting.

He only left once he had his fill, his eyes blank of human logic. Just anger and hunger. He left the body in the hall where it lay, half eaten and malled. Mouth and clothes covered in blood, and tailing it as well as he wandered the halls again. This side of him knew that he'd see this "meal" again. But then again, that was why he was called a vulture.

Before he had the chance to respond to Stasis, the younger boy had run off somewhere after stating that he wasn't feeling well. With a shrug, Innes had continued his workout. However, within a few minutes, the stench of spilled blood had become almost overwhelming purely from the amount of it that had been spilled that day. Shaking his head, Innes continued focusing on his workout.

When Stasis had left, the door to the gym had swung shut behind him, but now it creaked open again. Either not hearing or not bothering to look over at the door, Innes started doing push-ups. Before he even got through five, a sharp kick to the ribs knocked the smaller boy over and sent him skidding a couple inches. Grimacing as he stood up, he faced the trio in front of him.

"You're up against Vulture next, ain't ya. Now why'd they put a damn little kid like you against 'im?" one of the men grinned. "Personally, I'm votin' for 'im."

As the men worked on establishing their Branch of Sin into over-analyzed, over-the-top designs, Innes brought his hand up to the cut on his chest from where he'd been kicked. Drawing out a ball of blood he held it for a moment before it started bubbling, already heated up. The move was what was commonly referred to as Innes' "fox fire." With a flick of his wrist, he sent the steaming ball flying at the first of the assailants, hitting him square in the face. He wasn't standing for long with his face scorched.

While he'd been working on the first man, the other two had finished up forming their weapons. One darted behind Innes, slashing him across the back. The rather petite boy winced, but used the opening to call back his spilled blood with his "Bloody Host" technique to form a rather economical baseball bat. With that, the fight was over shortly with only a couple more minor wounds occurring to Innes.

Panting, he wiped sweat from his forehead and adjusted his beanie. "Thanks for the workout." he waved absently at the three groaning and squirming men on the floor as he left.

The walk back to his room wasn't a particularly long one and it wasn't hard to ignore the few people that he passed.

The walk back to his room didn't take to long, but it felt more like an eternity to him as he came off his bloodlust. The smell of burning pine and spiced rum reminded him of safety. His time to be alone and to calm himself. The room was dimmly lit with candles providing the only light aside from the light outside. He closed the door behind him and made a beeline toward the bathroom to wash his hands and face.

He was frantic, not knowing if anyone saw him on the way in. Not many people knew him as the vulture and those that did either didn't say or dead he couldn't be sure. One was never sure in G-Ward. Once he was satisfied that nearly every trace of blood was gone he went back into the room and walked over to the desk on the far side of the room.

On it were various animal parts; horns, carved and painted animal skulls along with various other bones. Two pillar candles at either end of the desk and two small carved statues. One of a raven and the other of a vulture. The raven slick with oil while the vulture seemed to be coated in something red and flaking off. He stood over it, putting his hands on the desk as if in thought. There was smoking in a small pot in between the two statues, the source of the scent that filled the room. He reached behind the statues for a small bottle, muttering all the while as he poured in the contents. The scent of pine and spiced rum grew stronger in the room as he walked away from the desk and cracked the door open so the smoke wouldn't get too thick and plopped back into his bed.

"I have to fight the Fox Sparrow...More birds and less people in this place." He muttered to himself as shifted a bit.

she had been walking to her room when she smelled a familiar scentcoming from a certain room. 'oh whats this it smells just like-' Nani shook her head trying to keep from thinking about the one person she ever truly thought of as a friend but that was the past and she needed to focus on the now. without even realizing it Nani had walked over to the door which was left open some "so thats why i could smell it, i wonder who it is" and curiosity got the better of her as she opened the door further and was blasted by the scent from earlier and nearly gagged. taking a step into the room she looked around and saw someone sitting down "oh hello" was all she could say since the smells made her a bit dizzy.

Stasis wasn't one to immidiently notice the door open on him, or in the very least notice look like he noticed. His eyes moved to look at the door first before he actually moved. The woman at his door was actually very pretty, but seemed dizzy. "Oh, I'm sorry. Are you feeling alright?" he said as he got up from the bed and walked over to her. He had long stopped being able to smell the smoke coming from his room as he started fanning her a bit.

Once he was near the door, he finally realized why the woman seemed a bit dizzy. The scent of his room wasn't that strong to him but to others it was over powering. He ran over to the desk and quickly put a lid on the smoke producing pot. "My apologies. I don't really get visitors that often these days." He said quickly as he fanned her again. "Can I get you anything? a drink or something to munch on perhaps?"

not once in her life had she ever meet a person like the one who stood before fanning her. "oh um thank you but no ill pass on that" forcing a smile on her face despite the headache that was beggininng to throb. Nani looked around at the room, the first thing she noticd were the bones which made her think of Jin's collection of skulls. at that she shivered thinking about the pain on their faces as Jin killed them but she stopped herself remembering that she was in a strangers company. "oh sorry about that umm should i be worried about the bones?" she asked.

Stasis blinked a bit, the question not really registering for a second but he soon waved his hands in front of him for a second. "Neit, neit. Just a hobby of mine. Most of them are animal in origin actually" He said, a he flicked carved human femur. "I don't have much to do anymore since I got stuffed down here but work on my craft." He looked around the room for a second, realizing the sheer amount of bone he had. Some from animals that people had managed to smuggle in, to bought bones to some that where opponants lucky enough not to survive fights with him in or out of carnival corpse.

He didn't notice the woman's shiver, seemingly oblivious to it really; he smiled at her. "I don't think ve've met before though. Then again I don't really know anyone here to begin with. My name is Anastasiy, but Stasis is fine if it's hard to pronouce." Stasis was obviously nervous around her, not really used to talking to people that could kill him at a moment's notice. A newbie to G-Ward and only known by his madness and codename, he hope that she didn't bring it up.

"Stasis, what a strange name your not from Japan are you?" lifting one brow as he talked about his craft, she could tell her presence made him nervous her first thought was because of her body then she pushed that one aside and realized that he was indeed a newbie. "so your the newbie everyone's been talking about, Vulture correct" smiling at him in hopes he wouldn't get all panicky on her and attack.

Stasis nearly froze in place when he heard his codename, but was slightly reassured at her smile. "I guess. I don't really hear that much about myself actually." He said, putting a hand on the back of his head. "And No. I'm actually from russia. Me and my sister." he looked out the door for a quick second, making sure no one would really come by and bother him. Just some people walking by, minding their own bussiness. "I'm curious. What do they say? I don't really watch the fights often or remember them really." A half truth really as he did remember what happened in the fights he was in, but didn't watch the others. Just something he didn't do.

"Russia really never been there I hear its really cold there" her expression was that of someone who had no idea what she was talking about but then she thought about his question and what it is she should tell him. "well for one they say your a really tough opponent, and you tend to make a bloodbath of it but don't worry that's normal for any deadmen here, no matter how hard you try the beast will always come out one way or the other" patting him on the shoulder as a sign of reassurance and trust.

"Y-yeah. I guess." He said, shifting his eyes toward one of the walls furthest from the door. It was nearly covered in all kinds of bones, most of them obviously human in origin. "I know that feeling well enough." He muttered as he went over to it. Some as small as fingerbones to some as large as skull plates, but all had some kind of carving or paint on them in someway. "I don't intend to be that tough an opponaint. I just can't control myself after a vile." he said as he took down a rather ornately carved cattle horn and sighed. "Either way I don't know Vat to do with myself after the fights really."

He shook his head, realizing how dark he had gotten that fast. He turned around and smiled again, bringing back the sunny disposition again. "I don't believe I caught your name though. I don't particularly know anyone around here really." He said, smiling back at her.

"well if that's the case you should be happy that your still alive" for a moment she got angry at the fact that Vulture was getting sad about how he acts after awhile in a fight. but she soon calmed down enough to answer his next question "im Nani Asagime, like I said before you should be glad that your still alive in this hell hole, unlike some others who aren't as fortunate as you or me" a look of irritation crossed her face before disappearing.

Stasis blinked, shifing his eyes at a random thought that had come to his mind. "As a child of ares, I am grateful for keeping my life so far. I give bloodshed and battle, and he keeps me alive." A quick ramble, but one that seemed to be a bit of a clue into his mind. There was a quick flash of an underlaying madness to the boy in his eyes, but vanished just as quickly. "Blood and bone had helped me survive on the outside, but they seem to serve a...better purpose in here though."

He put the horn back where it was, going back to Nani and sighing a bit. "Still miss the tundra though, clear my head a bit and not have idiots trying to pin me to the wall everytime I go to the lounge...."
