Eden is still coming to terms with being a werewolf. The transformations are still painful for him, and he hasn't yet managed to shift at will, but the power associated with it almost makes up for it. He's stronger and faster and that's something he's still intoxicated by. Of course, experimenting with this has made him glad for the increased healing speed. He's still coming to terms with his new abilities and is still figuring them out, leading him to being overconfident at times. As with all werewolves, his main weakness is silver.

Eden has two defining features. Big, dark brown eyes that give away every single emotion he feels, even when he tries to hide them. Long, dark lashes frame his eyes, almost giving them an almost effeminate look. And then there's the mop of blonde curls. When his hair is short, it falls more in waves, but lately it's gotten a little longer and a little unruly, falling in his face at times. It lightens to a true blonde in summer and darkens to a dirty blonde, almost brown in winter. He was never particularly one for spending large amounts of time outside so he never tanned, and even lately, when he's spending more time outside, his skin never seems to tan, always staying the same white.
The attack that nearly killed him left a wide range of scars. Most notably, there's the scar on his shoulder from the bite that ultimately saved his life. He's self-conscious about the scars and so tends to keep them covered with long sleeves and trousers. Thanks to his healing ability, some have healed to silver lines, barely noticeable against his pale skin, but some of them are raised and they bring back traumatic memories for him. He likes to wear colors and layers, finding the weight comforting when he's upset.

P E R S O N A L I T Y:
For some people, losing your entire family in an attack that nearly killed you and ended up changing your entire life would have a severely negative impact. But while Eden is admittedly shaken by the whole thing, he doesn't seem to be as negatively affected as one may expect. Coming to terms with his new life and the abilities and strengths has been an adventure for him as opposed to a struggle. He lost his family but gained another.
His almost childlike naivety is perhaps what helped him survive it. Growing up, he never had to fight or struggle. He grew up seeing the sunny side of things, grew up believing the world was a good place and that people were good. And he still has that outlook now, even though he's seen the darker side of things. He always tries to see the best in people, even when he probably shouldn't. He tries to see the best in everyone around him. And he tries to see the best in his situation, in the bad things that happen to him.
A big part of it is a coping mechanism. He knows that he could be angry, he could be heartbroken, he could give in to all of the emotions that he's feeling but he tells himself he needs to keep it together because otherwise, he doesn't know how to put himself back together. He's always played the part of the perfect son, the wonderful friend, the goofball, and every part he had played has been taken from him, so he just built a new one. The goofball omega, the one who never takes anything too seriously, because if he starts overthinking things the reality of his situation will set in and he's just going to crack and fall apart.
But even he can't keep up the act permanently. The people he really trusts are the only ones who get to see it when his guard slips, when the anger and the frustration and the fear come out. He doesn't like to show it to anyone, and so he keeps the circle of people that he lets that close as small as possible. It hasn't gone unnoticed that for someone as friendly as he is, his circle of close friends is small, only a handful of people. He hasn't always been this way, but his newfound fear of losing anyone else has meant that he keeps most people at arm's length.
Q U I R K SXA N DXO D D I T I E S:
He bites his nails when he's stressed, and it's the only tic that gives it away when he's secretly freaking out about something. He rubs his bite scar when he's thinking or when he's tired. He tends to hum to himself when he's doing anything.
F E A R S:
He's only just gotten a family back and he's afraid of losing them too. Enclosed spaces make him incredibly nervous.

Eden's life was exceptionally normal for the majority of his life. He spent hours working with his father, learning about plants and their medicinal properties. He learned how to turn them into medicine. His family was well loved in the small town he grew up in and were trusted for advice. They were good people who went to Church every Sunday and said grace before every meal. His parents and his older brother helped out at church and once Eden was old enough, he began doing so too.
In other towns, Eden's sexuality may have made him an outcast or a sinner. But in such a rural area, people didn't have the same beliefs and as long as one wasn't overly public about it, people didn't care. His family knew that he was different but knew not to ask too many questions or look too closely at his relationship with his male friends. This was the closest he could get to acceptance, and it was enough for him to be happy. His older brother traveled to the nearest city to take up an apprenticeship, while Eden stayed home to learn his father's trade.
It was a rare weekend when they were all home when the attack happened. The memories of the night are hazy, clouded by pain and fear. They believed it to be just another burglary. Looking back now, though, Eden isn't so sure. They seemed so strong, so... brutal. Eden and his brother managed to get out of the house and start running, but it didn't take the things long to catch them. Eden's brother tried to fight them off but he didn't last long. And then they got to Eden. Eden was sure he was going to die, but as things faded out, he swore he saw an animal taking one of them out, an animal that was a little too large.
When he woke up, he felt... different. Stronger, faster. When somebody explained to him what had happened, what he'd become, he wasn't sure he believed them at first. But with no other choices and nobody left to call a family, he left to travel with them. With his new pack.
