"I was born with a natural advantage, I'll admit."

ImageSupernatural Condition & Regenerative Healing
What Wes's abilities create is the perfect athlete and, perhaps, fighter. Physically, he is always at his peak, even without much work on his own part. The young man is stronger and faster than any typical human, or many other supernaturals. With his peak condition, he also never becomes sick, has excellent sight and hearing, and physically reacts more quickly than most other people might. Basically, he's healthy and incredibly in shape, to the extreme. It allows him to blast past the competition without even breaking a sweat, as far as athletics go. Unfortunately, this excludes grace, apparently, and for all of his coordination, the man is a terrible dancer. Still, he is more powerful, physically, than anyone who might want to say that to his face. His Regenerative healing is what keeps him clear of injury. He can break his arm, and have it perfectly healed within a week. The greater the injury, the longer it takes to heal, of course, but he still recovers monumentally faster than the average human. He also, theoretically, can grow back limbs and organs, though he's never tested this before. An organ harvester's dream. Outside of his abilities, he tends to pick up most sports pretty easily, and learns things physically very quickly. His physical memorization is near perfect, even if his mind doesn't work quite as flawlessly. Wes is a people person, and is very good with children in particular.

Religious Beliefs/Philosophy
Wes was raised Christian, but is Agnostic, himself.

Family Tree
Derek Fielders - Estranged Father [Source of Supernatural Blood]

Catherine Jamerson - Mother
Sarah Jamerson - Younger Sister [Twin to Elizabeth]
Elisabeth Jamerson - Younger Sister [Twin to Sarah]

Wes is, as a general rule, the sort of guy who enjoys his current position in life. That being said, he's a very appreciative person in general, certainly not the sort who would take for granted the world he is currently part of. Having been born to a very poor family, and left by his father at a young age, he isn't used to the finer things in life, and therefore is the sort who will be thankful for what he gets, even now, as his fame and prowess have put him in the spotlight and a position of influence and wealth. His small beginnings are also to thank for his very family-oriented personality. Family was, to him, the entire world, and it continues to be to this day. He pities those with no family more than anything else, and those who would abandon their family, such as his father, are a puzzle which he will never understand. Blood runs thicker than all other ties, to him, and one of his hopes is to someday start a family of his own. He is great around kids, luckily, but that probably stems from him acting as a father figure to his younger sisters, who are seven years his junior and were only two years old when their father left. Of course, his family-emphasis does not prevent him from being a bit of a flirt at times, and while he plans to eventually settle down, that doesn't stop him from playing around now. He's known to have dated many big stars since he became a household name of sorts, and is hardly against the occasional one-night stand. He's a romantic, sure, but only in serious relationships, and there is a clear line drawn between playing around and serious relationships for him- something that he ensures every girl he dates knows, because he isn't the sort to string people along falsely.

Wes does have his own code of principles, after all, most of them taught to him by his mother. He was taught to be polite and respectful to elders- until they are cruel or disrespectful to others, in which case he can be quite rude indeed. He becomes very aggressive in regards to protecting those he loves, and can lose his cool very easily when it comes to him. In fact, it clouds his judgement very much as well when such a thing happens, and he's sent at least one of his sister's boyfriends to the hospital because he misunderstood a situation and didn't stop to think his actions through. He does try to stop himself from getting angry as much as possible, knowing that his strength can lead to unfortunate circumstances. Usually, Wes is actually a very relaxed sort of person, and though he doesn't have a particularly good sense of humor himself, in that all of his jokes are terrible, he can take a joke pretty well. That being said, his mild demeanor hides a will of steel and a determination that has driven him throughout most of his life. If he wants something, the young man will work his ass of until he gets it, often becoming singleminded in such feats. He can multitask longterm, like mastering several different sports, but when it comes to little things, the man must do one thing at a time. What he does, he does well- Wes won't accept anything half-assed from himself. He holds himself to a certain standard, and very much values personal responsibility. If he says he'll do something, he will. If he messes up, Wes isn't going to blame anyone else. That being said, he refuses to accept the blame (or credit) for things that he hasn't done, good or bad. Of course, he very much appreciates being given credit where credit is due, and is a bit on the arrogant side when it comes to his athletic competence. To be fair, he has the skills to back it up.

{Family-Oriented, Flirtatious, Appreciative, Romantic, Protective, Poor Judgement When Angry, Single-minded, Relaxed, Polite, Personal Responsibility, Confident}

"In the words of King Gustav V of Sweden, I am the 'World's Greatest Athlete'."

It became very clear early on in Wes's life that he had an aptitude for sports exceeding most others, and he was seen as a prodigy due to this. Although he opted to remain in high school and work rather than train for the olympics or join a team early on, the young man continued to be scouted to be part of various teams. When he finally graduated, the young man, born and raised in Los Angelos, went to university on a sports scholarship. While he technically majored in physical therapy, he spent most of his time training, and working with the soccer, swim, and track team at the school. Because of this, his GPA was never very impressive, but he was gifted enough athletically for the school to permit this slipping. He was twenty years old when he went to his first Olympics, and broke records in swimming, the decathlon as well as leading a silver-medal winning soccer team. When he graduated with his bachelor's, the young man was immediately recruited to a team in LA, and shortly after this began to lead the team to be champions. He has taken part in the American Team for the World Cup every year since then, and was in the Summer Olympics once again this year. He has multiple sponsorships due to his athletic acheivements.

-Works-
Holds Swimming Record For the 50m, 100m and 1500m Freestyle
Part of the Silver-Medal Earning Soccer Team for Summer Olympics, and Gold Medal the following Summer Olympics
Two-time Winner of the Olympic Decathlon

“Nngh..”

A groan came from underneath a large pile of silken duvets and sheets, the lump that was formed underneath it moving just a bit until it fell from the bed to the floor. There was a shout of surprise and a sudden flurry of color before the proverbial dust settled and revealed a young woman rubbing sleepily at her eyes. She was one of the two Kealoha siblings and she had spent the majority of the previous day trampling up and down the stairs with her adopted brother as they brought in their things and began unpacking and setting up their new home. They had just moved to L.A. from Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii to pursue their dreams of making it big in the entertainment industry. The two military brats had traveled the world but they were ready to settle and call California home. They were already the reigning King and Queen of YouTube, known as Ali'i together. For the past four years, they've held the most followers and video views. The only people to beat them was PSY with Gangnam Style. Hiwalani-Noa was crossing her fingers, wishing to one day do a collaboration with him. She adored his infectious music.

The young woman stretched out, turning to look around her new bedroom. It was so beautiful! She had a great walk-in closet and both her bedroom and small office were nooks in the wall so they were super cozy and left more room for her décor and instruments. She had initially made plans to repaint but the eggshell white was a nice neutral color that went with all of her surfboards, paintings, and frames. She didn't have room for her trophy case so they were kind of scattered on all the shelves throughout the room. Still, she thought it was all pretty great. She threw her blankets and pillows back onto her bed and had to stretch a little to rehang the curtains that concealed her bed. “Will you guys shut up!” The young woman grabbed her black and gold silk robe and pulled it on. She wasn't indecent; She had on a tight black tank top that read “Island Girls Do It Best”, black socks that pulled up almost over her knees, and really short black shorts. But Cam always got weird when she walked around in tight clothes and low cut shirts.

As Lani made her way into the living room, she saw Cameron wearing the same green Zelda t-shirt and black cargo pants that he had been wearing for two days, down on hands and knees, barking loudly at their pets and receiving replies of assorted barks, growls, meows, and hisses. Great. That was a lovely orchestra to wake up to. Ignoring them, the sleepy female made her way past them and headed downstairs with car keys in her hand. She had to grab her bathroom bag. She was rubbing at her eyes and giving a yawn when she managed to catch one foot behind the other and trip. Her eyes went wide and she let out a high pitched squeal as she fell and knocked right into a rather attractive man carrying arms of...groceries. Just her luck. She found herself tangled up with some strange man and covered with eggs, flour, and God only knows what else. “Kala mai iaʻu! Minamina! Minamina!” Her two-colored eyes were already glistening as rivulets of tears clung to thick lashes. She was trying her best to get up without slipping and breaking anything else. Her gaze dragged upwards slowly and she suddenly found her jaw a bit...slack.

“Wes?!” The smaller person gave a squeak and began to blubber out another stream of apologies, her language switching between English and Hawai'i. She should apologize. And possibly sacrifice her brother to a volcano god back home in hopes of appealing to the gods and having them grant her the ability to not look totally frumpy right now. The YouTube starlet cringed a little and tried her best to scurry backwards to rush back upstairs and slam the door to her new home and hope that he hadn't seen and recognized her. But the woman only succeeded in having her hands slip in the yolk from the broken eggs, causing her to fall backwards some and bang the back of her head against the wall.

Cameron had stopped harassing the animals to rush outside and see what the fuss was all about. Seeing his sister sprawled out on the floor and covered in food, rubbing her head... He just looked down from the fourth floor to the second where she was and burst into laughter. Frumpy didn't even begin to describe the way she looked right now. She looked like she was auditioning for Kitchen Wars: Food Strikes Back. He was almost rolling on the floor as he gripped their sides and wiped some tears from their eyes. “Pehea ʻoe?”, Cameron called out through his laughter as Hiwalani simply pouted whilst rubbing her head still. “I'm so sorry...I can pay for all this. I swear. I think...” A laugh came from behind her following her apology as Cameron stood a few steps above them, moving his camera between the two as he spoke. “Well, this will be our first video since we've settled in.” He swiveled the camera to face him and gave a bright smile while struggling to contain his laughter. “As many of you loyal viewers know, my sister and I decided three months ago to uproot from the island and head for the city of stars in hopes of pursuing fame and fortune to spread our names and talents worldwide! Or something like that. We arrived at our new condo last night and it is just amazing. But enough about that!” He turned the camera back to Lani who had settled for lying on the floor in the mess of food with her eyes closed. “Kill me now and get it over with.”, she groaned. Cameron gave a laugh and moved closer, squatting down near the two.

“Here we have Hiwalani-Noa. YouTube's reigning queen for nearly five years. And a damn good actress. Just last year, she was named Hollywood's Islander Sweetheart. So sweet! And over here – We have Wesley Jamerson: The best athlete in the world. Mister Jamerson, please tell our viewers: What is running through your mind right now? Do you feel ashamed for doing this to possibly the world's biggest sweetheart? And you, Lani. Exactly how do you feel right now after knocking down Mister Jamerson? Are you embarassed?” He seemed completely serious, though, Lani was just laying there and praying it would all be over soon.

When Wesley Jamerson woke up this morning, he had his mind set on having eggs. Not just on having eggs, but on making eggs. Now, he's not much of a cook, really, but the young man does have a sort of mastery over breakfast foods, and can cook the best omelet or slice of french toast that anyone has ever tasted. Well, that's what he thinks, anyway, and it's what his younger sisters have told him, as well. His mother has always been less impressed by his cooking, but that's because she's never been much of a food-for-breakfast sort of woman, instead preferring a cup of coffee for her pick me up. That's why the first thing Wes did once he became successful was buy his mother the best coffee machine on the market- no more cheap gas station coffee for her. It may seem like a very miniscule gesture, but his mother had smiled so happily at the sight of it, letting him know that he had made the right decision.

Anyway, it was due to his sudden craving for eggs, and maybe some french toast as well, that the athlete had left his condo, newly moved into only a few weeks ago, and went out on an expedition to find the nearest grocery store. On this journey, he had stumbled on something even better than originally planned: a farmer's market. He had something of a field day when he got there, picking out two cartons of fresh, organic eggs, and also getting some fruits and vegetables, as well as some flour and sugar. This was going to be the most magnificent breakfast in the history of breakfasts, this he had decided about halfway through the shopping trip.

And now, he finds himself wearing the best breakfast ever, or what had been the makings for it. Wes had been harmlessly climbing up the stairs to his new apartment, in fact wondering about the new car in the parking lot, and whether someone had rented the condo next to his, when something -or someone- slams into him, most likely in a fall. He shoots out a foot to steady himself, and an arm to try and catch whoever it is that has smashed his groceries against him, covering Wes in eggs, flower, and a fair amount of tomatoes.

He had to blink out the eggs on his eyes before he could makeout his accidental-assailant, but the familiar voice had already given him an inkling as to who it might be. Looking down at her, he confirms this, and smiles mildly at the Hawaiian beauty, Lani, who had crashed into him, and is now squeaking out his name in surprise, looking equal parts embarrassed and frustrated, tears obviously gathering in her eyes. Seeing those, he immediately leaps to try and comfort her, "Lani! Are you alr-" The young woman is already beginning to scurry away as he says this. She doesn't get very far, though, slipping on some of the egg yolk. He lunges forward to try and prevent her from falling again, but to no avail- she falls against the wall, hitting her head.

When she falls to the ground, he kneels beside her, ignoring the mess all over his own chest and face. "Hey, are you alright? Don't worry, I've got it covered, it was nothing," he says warmly, though the food was actually quite expensive- something he didn't mind, as it went towards local growers.

Hearing laughter, Wes turns around and sees another young man, whom he recognizes as Lani's adopted brother, aiming a video camera at them. His eyes shoot up in surprise, and he makes a move to block the camera's view of Lani. After all, he has two younger sisters who would die of embarrassment if a video of them looking like that were put on the internet. It is fruitless, though, for the young man closes in on them, and Lani has clearly resigned herself to wallowing in the food as her brother cheerfully films it all.

"Oh, I'm humiliated. I hope they don't take away my gentleman card for such a transgression. Forgive me, Lani?" he asks, turning from Cameron to Lani as he says this, and giving her a boyish smile that most girls find hard to resist. "I'd invite you to breakfast as an apology, but it would seem we're wearing it, so."

Emilia is in the middle of sketching out a scene for a film she's working on when a sudden crashing noise outside makes her flinch, and her hand swerves in the wrong direction, ruining the scene. Millie frowns, staring at the image for a while, which now has a giant dark slash right through it. Her mind races as she stares at it, and eventually she is looking very hard but not actually seeing it. It looks as though she is about to say something to the drawing, but eventually she just drops the pencil and sighs, standing up. I need breakfast, she decides, grabbing keys and slipping on a pair of converse that are doodled on so densely that only the brightest of the drawings are discernible from the rest.

Her long, colorful hair is pulled back into a side braid, as it always is when she is working. In all honesty, her decision to go outside of her apartment is partially fueled a desire to find the source of that crashing noise- and the chatter and laughter following it. Grabbing her bike, which is parked in the hallway as per usual, she makes her way down the staircase, the talking becoming louder as she does so. At the bottom, she sees a few familiar faces: Lani, who has voiced a character in a movie for her, Cameron, who lives with Lani and is an acclaimed director, and Wes, who lives near her and is in all of those ASPCA commercials with Lani.

Grateful that the noise was coming from people she knows, or at least knows enough to not just awkwardly rush past, Emilia smiles. Of course, as she gets closer, she realizes more thoroughly what is going on. Lani is covered in Eggs and Flour on the ground, as is Wes, kneeling beside her. And then there is Cameron, filming the scene. "Um. . .good morning?" she greets the scene with a sort of question mark due to the absurdity of it.

Wes smiles at her as though passing by her in the hallway, very casually, "Good morning, Millie."

Cameron gave a laugh as Lani gave absolutely no answer, chuckling as Wes had tried to shield her like he was protecting her from paparazzi. Pfft. She had to attribute at least seven percent of her fame to her epic wipeouts. This had to be at least one of her best by far. With a cheesy grin, he stopped recording, satisfied with Wes' answer. “Ugh – I'm so sorry. I'm not usually such a klutz.”, she mumbled, sitting herself up and leaning back against the wall as soon as Cameron closed his camera. She managed to catch his smile and return it with her own adorable smile, her cheeks flooding with crimson color.

“Well, after I get this mess cleaned up, I could treat you to breakfast. That's the only way I'll forgive you.” Smooth move, Lani. Hey, if he wanted to take the blame then she was going to let him. He was a nice guy and a lot of fun to hang around – They had met a few months ago when she was invited to be in a few ASPCA commercials with him to reach out to the younger audience to become more active in aiding homeless and abused animals. Her Tibetan Mastiff -Yum Yum- absolutely loved him.

It was then that Cam and Lani both noticed that Emilia Richards had walked up and offered an awkward greeting. Lani was tempted to tell the talented young woman with colorful hair that her brother was borderline obsessed with her work, but she was too sweet to embarrass her brother in front of one of his favorite graphic designers. Instead, she turned towards Wes and managed to stand upright once more, flour falling from her and egg yolks oozing down her hair and the side of her face. “Breakfast and lunch, actually.” As absolutely a mess as she looked, she was asking him out on two dates in one day. Why not? She was starting a new chapter in her life and it could be fun. Plus, she might be able to prove that she wasn't always such a goof. She knew him, sure. But she didn't know him well enough to be able to laugh off the incident. Plus she recognized the bagging from the farmers market nearby and knew that the stuff was expensive.

Behind her, Cameron had turned his camera to Emilia. “Hey, it's been a while!” He had last met her when Lani was doing a voice over role for one of her movies. He had to admit that he really enjoyed being able to watch the graphic artist at work and he would not admit to her that he had done a lot of research on her and was thoroughly impressed for success for such a young age. She was a genius! “Pretty coincidental, huh? Four prodigies all living under the same roof without having planned it.” He gave her his best cheesy smile before looking upstairs to see Yum Yum sitting right there at the top of the fourth floor, looking as though she were ready to pounce. “Yum! Get back in the house!” The last thing he needed was a the massive dog that came up to his waist when he stood getting covered in the mess downstairs and then tracking it through their new home.

“Sorry – Please excuse me. Unless you want to come inside. Apparently, Lani's making a big breakfast.” He gave another brilliantly white smile before dashing upstairs. It was a struggle for him to pull Yum Yum inside because she was damn near two-hundred and eighty pounds of muscle and five pounds of black and tan fur, all of it trying to push him down and lick his face. But he did manage to pull her inside where he immediately distracted her with a steak in her food bowl. Win for Cameron!

Wes raises his eyebrows at her promise that she's not usually such a Klutz, seeming to remember a few wipe outs that he's seen on her and her brother's youtube channels, which he began following after doing the ASPCA commercials with her. "I'll take your word on that, then. Even dancers trip occasionally- though usually not so fantastically,"
he adds the last bit as an after thought of sorts, still smiling good-naturedly despite the array of organic foods splattered against him. Luckily the young man hadn't worn his favorite shirt, a green one with the logo for some bar he'd gone to and absolutely adored while on a roadtrip following his third year of college, along with a couple of friends. Even it he had messed up his favorite shirt, though, he might not have minded- he's not exactly a fashion guru, after all, and not particularly into clothing, really. Besides, he already knows Lani, and has a hard time getting angry at people he's come to befriend, especially when they are as pretty as the musician-turned-actress who is leaning against the wall next to him. Besides, her crimson blush makes it clear that she's too embarrassed for him to get angry without feeling like a monster for doing so.

When she offers to make him breakfast, claiming that it is the only way she can possibly forgive him, Wes smiles in such a way that seems as though it should be dimpled, despite the fact that he lacks such indents in his cheeks. He's about to respond in the affirmative to breakfast, especially as his stomach is aching for food at this point, having been delayed it's nutrition with the promise of an excellent ensemble of eggs and toast, when a girl with vividly colorful hair and a bike at her side greets them. Had she not lived next to him, he wouldn't know who she is, to be honest- Wes doesn't have much motivation to be following the latest animators and graphic artists, after all, and he doesn't watch award shows for such things, certainly. But having passed by her a few times, and being the sort of person who wants to get to know the people around him, he has made her casual acquaintance, and knows that her name is Emilia, and she is a graphic designer and worked on that disney movie his sisters loved so much. It occurs to him now, rather vaguely, that he should ask her for a signed picture of one of the characters to send to them- maybe the snowman?

His attention is swiftly and effectively recaptured by Lani as she offers a double deal- breakfast and lunch. He grins, standing up alongside her. "How can I resist a girl so tastefully dressed?" he says in way of acceptance of the offer, making a pun that is perhaps in rather poor taste.

Behind him, Emilia is immediately angling herself away from the camera. She knows about Cam's youtube channel, and the last thing she needs is to look impossibly awkward in front of the inevitably millions of viewers who watch his videos. "Erm, Yeah, Hi," she manages to say, colorful hair muffling her voice a little as she uses it, as usual, in place of a shield against the camera. Yeah, she's definitely more of a behind-the-camera person. Then again, Cam manages to be both, she knows- she's seen, and laughed plenty, at his videos, each having their own unique twist of comedy to them. Not that she'd admit to being subscribed to both him and his sister's channels, for fear of looking like just another silly fan.

He soon runs away, after a dog too massive to exist, but invites her, sort of, to breakfast before doing so. Emilia glances over at Wes and Lani, who are still with each other. "Erm, is that okay? That I eat breakfast with you?" she asks hesitantly, for she only really knows Lani on a professional level, and doesn't wish to interfere.

Hiwalani-Noa was indeed pleased, her eyes shining some until she glanced over to see Cameron dashing off to drag Yum Yum inside. She was about to call after him, but Wesley's cheesy pun made a smile creep across her lips. She turned her gaze back to him and rolled her eyes. “You can't. So don't try.” Her attempt at being sexy. It might have worked if she didn't have yolk sliding down into her eyes and making her squint. She turned around at Emilia's question and immediately beamed a smile. “Yeah! Of course! C'mon up whenever you're ready.” She sidled past Emilia and headed up the stairs, calling over her shoulder. “I'm going to jump in the shower first, though!” Even though she was lacking her bathroom bag. Mentally facepalming, she resolved that she would just get Cameron to do it. As well as clean up the mess since he wanted to be an asshole and not even try to help her up. Damn camera-jockey.

Wes raises an eyebrow at Lani as she makes her comment, the one in which she is quite clearly entering a sort of flirting mode, at least as far as he's concerned, and he's had enough girls flirt with him to know, of course. However, she's certainly the first person he's met to attempt sexiness with egg and flower splatted across her shirt- and very nearly succeed at it, strangely enough. "Yes, ma'am," he says with a teasing tone to his voice, going so far as to make a little salute gesture. As Lani begins speaking to Emilia, it occurs to him that he really ought to go and shower all of this egg out of his hair now. Besides, he doesn't want to drag uncooked breakfast through their house- not with the overly affectionate Yum-Yum there, as she'd likely lick it off of him and consequentially become ill. He'd hate to be the source of such a thing. Thus, when Lani calls out behind her that she'll be taking a shower first, he has no complaints. "Ditto- see you in a bit,"
he shouts after her, grinning still.

"See you at breakfast,"
he bids Emilia farewell with a smile before heading up to his own apartment, where he promptly showers, leaving a pile of dirty clothing on the floor to be dealt with eventually.

Meanwhile, Emilia, after watching the others depart and thinking that the scene she had missed probably resembled a slapstick cartoon from the black-and-white cartoon days of Mickey Mouse and co, finally launches back into motion. Well, launches might be a bit of a stretch, as unlike the others, she doesn't need to shower, and thus is able to take her time returning up to her apartment to put away her bike. The young woman waits a few extra moments in her apartment before leaving, not wanting to burst in before Wes shows up and Lani is out of the shower.

Luckily for her, Wes exits his apartment just before she leaves hers, and thus has already knocked on the door, but not entered quite yet out of courtesy. Emilia walks over to where he is, absentmindedly twiddling with the end of her braid while her mind wanders to the project she is currently working on. After it is done, she might have a week or so to rest before getting started on the next project, a little short that one of her bosses has written up and asked her to animate so that it can be previewed at a meeting to decide whether to go ahead with the concept as a full-length film.

"Hello again," she finally greets Wes, mind popping back into reality. He smiles in response, giving a nod.

“Already on it.” Cameron was on his way out the door already, having literally read his sister's thoughts. After Wes and Em both disappeared into their apartments he made his way to the mess and closed his eyes. Focusing his energy, he opened his eyes and targeted the mess on the floor, causing it to rise and form into a ball. He guided it upstairs past his sister who was waiting outside their home. After depositing the ball into the trash, he raced downstairs to their small rental car where he pulled out a small black bag before returning to the building and entering the code to access the building.

As soon as he passed by, Lani snatched her bag and dashed to the bathroom where she indulged in a shower. She had one in her bedroom, but she had to call maintenance to get the pipes right. Cameron had followed behind her until she shut the bathroom door, collecting up the mess that she trailed and putting it in the trash. He would have gotten the food ready, but he was a disaster in the kitchen. Instead, he flopped onto the couch and turned on the television and grabbed his PS3 controller, launching himself into Heavenly Sword. Hearing the knock on the door, he immediately called out that it was open.

Wes is the one to, upon hearing that the door is open, turn the knob and enter in, seeming comfortable at once as though he's been here for breakfast a million times, at least, before. Of course, he's always had this way of making it seem like he simply belongs wherever he is- the man could look completely relaxed and in place in the middle of a Victoria's Secret store. "It's Wes and Millie, here for your food," he calls out, flashing a smile at Emilia before heading over towards where Cameron is.

Emilia, on the other hand, takes a quieter step in, giving him a strange look, eyebrows raised, when Wes announces her name, or a variant of it, when he steps in. She closes the door behind her and follows the young man in, standing behind where Cameron sits on the couch. She is immediately engrossed in the game play. "How far in is this?" she inquires, eyes not leaving the screen. It's been a while since she's played the game- around five years, to be exact, and she can't remember the chronological order of it all.

Wes is comparitively less interested in the game, not really being much of a video game person, really. He'd rather be playing outside than in, most of the time.

Cameron gave the two a grin as they joined him on the couch, immediately addressing Emilia's question. “I already beat it a few times – I'm on chapter three right now, actually. I'm about to take on fourteen clansmen.” He was completely engrossed in the game, far too much to notice Lani peeking around the corner. She hadn't expected them to be over so soon, wishing her bathroom was fixed. She had done a few faux sex scenes in a couple of her movies and had no problem parading around in her underwear around other people; She wore bikinis every day so she didn't see the difference because they both showed the same amount of skin. She didn't know why she was being so hesitant now. Shaking her head at her “silly” fear, she strode across the living room in only a towel, shooting them a smile before dashing into her bedroom.

Cameron rolled his eyes before nudging Emilia. “Breakfast could take a while. I've got a GameCube and an Xbox360 with a crap load of games. After this chapter, I could pop in some Need For Speed.” He gave his best boyish grin to the girl with the loud hair, wiggling his ears like Alfalfa.

“Oh, get a room.”, Lani teased with a smile, rounding the corner with her hair down, nearly dragging on the floor with its length. She was big on Neo-Druidry and everything natural while keeping with the modern pace. What did that mean? She hadn't had a haircut since the day she was born. She trimmed dead ends, but that was it. She had also traded in her robe and black pajamas for a pair of denim daisy dukes and a pink and blue plaid shirt thrown on over a sports bra. “So – You going to help me cook?” She eyed Wes, a small gray, white, and black head peeking out from her cleavage to stare at the two new people with large brown eyes.

Emilia raises an eyebrow at him while he states that he has already played the game multiple times. She had only played it once, of course, but has always been very easily distracted when it comes to games. She finishes them, sure, but then moves right on to the next one, consuming them like water after a long drought. A few of her favorites she has replayed, and there are one or two that she'll play through after a particularly stressful project, calming down with the familiar battles and sequences. Eventually, she simply nods, still staring at the screen so that she, too, does not notice the towel-clad Lani peek around the corner.

Of course, this is something that Wes, very much less interested in the game, does not miss this. He looks over at her with a curious look, wondering at first why she is peeking around like a deer about to make a break through a clearing. It dawns on him rather quickly, though, what the reason for this quick look around might be, as he recalls that she was taking a shower recently- and notices her wet hair. "Want me to cover my eyes or something," he adds, but while his voice seems perfectly gentlemanly, it clashes with the smile on his face, nearly twitching in the direction of an amused smirk. He's fairly certain that she's worn bathing suits with less coverage than the towel, after all, and thus is just being unnecessarily shy. Something with which he does not necessarily have a problem- her blush from earlier had been admittedly adorable. Apparently, Lani managed to overcome her concerns, for she ends up walking calmly across the living room, giving the group a smile before, he notes with amusement, darting towards her bedroom once she is closer to it. "I forgot to cover my eyes!" he calls out after her jokingly.

At the feeling of being nudged, Emilia looks back towards Cameron, who invites her to play Need for Speed. She merely smiles at first, and is midway through saying "If you don't mind l-" when he wiggles his ears. Laughter comes almost immediately, and she clamps her hand over her mouth to muffle it, having been caught off guard by the gesture. Strange as it may seem, she's never seen anyone wiggle their ears so well before. Lani's teasing comment grabs her attention, though it also succeeds in making Emilia flush slightly- though perhaps that was just from the laughter.

Lani's entrance, and her impossibly long hair, gets a different response from Wes. "Just climbed down the tower, Rapunzel?" he asks, referencing her hair, naturally.

"Alright- we'll leave the bums to lay on the couch all day," he agrees cheerily enough. When a little head sticks out of her cleavage, his eyes widen slightly in surprise, before realizing that it's another one of her pets. "Is he helping cook, as well?"

When Lani had been on her way to her room, she only rolled her eyes and smiled at Wes' comment, contemplating on whether or not she should strut. That's what girls did when they flirted, right? She wasn't exactly the go-to girl for how to get a guy. Truth be told, she'd only had one major relationship in her life. It was hard to hold one when her father was always being restationed elsewhere. Besides, she had always been too consumed by her career even at a young age to have time for guys. She let Wes' sit for a minute before answering him, watching as Cameron smiled like a five year old who had just been told by Captain America that he was the greatest kid ever. He did like to make the ladies laugh. It must be an absolute dream for him to be sitting with one of his favorite (if not number one favorite) artists, playing video games with her, making her laugh, and about to share breakfast with her. It is, so I'd thank you to not screw it up. They exchanged a glance to which she only smiled as she grabbed Wes by the hand and lead him to their fanciful kitchen decorated with various food themed things.

She is Reina and she will not be helping, but relaxing. We're expecting babies.” She almost squealed out the part about expecting babies, but maintained most of her composure as she pulled Reina from her hiding spot and set her on the counter. She skipped to the cabinets and pulled out a giant metal bowl before going to the fridge and loading the bowl with various fresh produce items. “I'm thinking about omelets with waffles, fruit, and steak. Any objections?” She hadn't just asked Wes, but rather spoke up to direct her words at Emilia and Cameron while setting the things down and popping open a small yogurt for her tiny lemur to devour. Yum Yum was whining from the back balcony with the other pets, eyeballing the steaks that had been lain out. “You already had breakfast, fat asses.” She stuck her tongue out at the assortment of animals, speaking to them as she would a person.

Cameron had busied himself with disappearing to his room and reappearing with several game cases in his hand. He popped in Need for Speed: Most Wanted and passed Emilia a controller before taking a seat on the floor next to her legs, calling out to his sister. “Sunny-side up!” Turning his head to Emilia, he smiled again, radiating confidence as he spoke. “What do you want to bet that I can smoke your ass – At the game I mean.” He paused after realizing what he had said and immediately ducked his head while his cheeks flooded red.

Wes is caught by surprise when Lani grabs his hand and leads, or rather drags, him into a kitchen that kind of reminds him of the one his mom has back home. The nostalgia of it made him smile a bit, remembering dragging his younger sisters out of bed on a whim to make, and subsequently burn, eggs, nearly setting the house on fire. That was back before he became a certified master of all things breakfast foods, of course. "Oh, My apologies, ma'am. You're very slim, I never guessed," he says, apologizing to the sugar glider with the smile still on his face, somewhat lopsided as the right side is pulled up further than the left, giving him the look of someone with a hook pulling at one side of their mouth. As Lani begins to list off the ingredients of the breakfast they will be making, Wes is suddenly glad that all of his breakfast supplies had been smashed- this one sounds a lot more delicious than what he had planned, and with a lot more variety to boot. And he certainly didn't have a steak inside that bag of food. "Sounds good to me- I am yours to command in all ways breakfast preparation, madame," he tells her with an overdramatic, sweeping bow that nearly knocks over a decor, though he moves just enough to miss hitting it over.

"Yes, please!" Emilia calls out in response to Lani's listing of the menu. She is beginning to feel more comfortable here, as can be seen by her smile and the fact that her voice has left that hesitant waver which it had contained before. She even gives Cameron a smile when he returns from his room holding the games, one of which he pops into the console before handing Emilia the controller. She hadn't even thought to take the comment in the way that Cameron did- until he quickly specifies that he means at the game and ducks his head. She takes a similar precaution to hide her own flushing, bending her neck so that her hair falls over her face, hopefully making the red seem like just another hue in her hair. "I wouldn't make any withdrawals from the bank just yet," she responds eventually, smiling at him, hoping that the flush has gone away by now. She certainly doesn't plan on losing the race to him.

Back in the kitchen, Wes has gotten to work, doing whatever it is he thinks is productive in helping with the preparation of the breakfast. "If you guys make breakfast like this every morning, I might have to start bumping into you every day," he tells her whilst cracking an egg.

The Hawaii native grabbed various spices from the rack and set them down in front of Wesley, pointing to the garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and seasoning salt. “Into the eggs they go. And also one-fourth cup of milk.” She motioned towards them before getting to work chopping up various fruits and vegetables, simmering and sauteing the steaks, and making piles upon piles of waffles. She and Wes were having a blast as they teased each other back and forth and dodged as waffle mix was wasted on waffle slaps, though they got pegged a few times, letting it dry and cake on their face before they cleaned it off, too busy with cooking.

Cameron was too busy enjoying various races with Emilia to notice the scents wafting from the kitchen, growing more engrossed with the game every passing second. Whenever he would win, he would jump up and face Emilia, doing a quick shuffle to an unheard bass before getting in her face and wiggling his ears. By the time Lani and Wes carried the plates into the living room, Cameron was losing; Emilia had ten to Cameron's eight. He almost didn't want to even eat until Lani pried the controller from his hand and forced a forkful of waffle into his mouth.

The long-haired young man closed his eyes and let out a cry as though he were either having an orgasm or had just been kicked in the family jewels, the delicious food exploding in his mouth. “Guys, this is just... - ” He paused to shove a piece of watermelon in his mouth before speaking through a semi-full mouth. “Maika‘i.”, he finally gasped out before taking a long gulp from a glass of fresh orange juice. Sitting between Wesley and Emilia on the couch, Lani couldn't help but to give a faint smile of self-pride before clearing her throat after a mouthful of steak. “Just wait until you see what we have for dinner.”, she slid her gaze to Wes and gave a genuine smile. “You ever have Pua‘a?”

Wes followed Lani's directions to the best of his abilities, though of course the occasional assault of breakfast food back and forth did distract him quite a bit from his work. At some point during the cooking, he had begun to doubt that eating the food would be nearly as much fun as making it would be. Already, batter was dried on his face, making the previous shower seem almost like a waste of energy. He hardly noticed it at all, however, enjoying himself too much as he cooked with, and teased, Lani throughout the entire preparation process. She had her share of teasing to do as well, of course.

On the couch, Emilia nearly doesn't mind it when Cam wins, as his victory dances are so outlandish and funny, getting at least a giggle out of the girl each time. Nearly is the key word here, though, as she certainly doesn't plan on losing after telling him that the chances of him being victorious were zero to one. Her own victory dance is a bit more subtle than Cam's, but each team she beats him, the young woman does this little wiggle thing, incorporating not only her torso, but her head as well, with a smile lighting up her face in the delight that comes with beating a worthy opponent. Her overall victory is a source of particular joy, and she doesn't mind letting Lani and Wes take the controller away from her, flashing a triumphant smile at Cam.

Proud of their work's end result, Wes put a lot of effort into pulling Emilia and Cam away from their games, because he certainly wasn't going to let them not eat this beautiful feast which he and Lani had positively slaved over, something he had told them whilst pulling the duo's controllers out of their hands mid-race. Nope, some racing game was not going to deprive him the joy of watching the two eat the food he's helped to make, that was definitely not happening.

And he is well rewarded when Lani forces waffle into Cam's mouth, as the latter immediately begins scarfing down the food as though it will all be gone in a few seconds if he doesn't hurry. Emilia seems more than pleased with her food as well, thinking, I'm glad I didn't just go to a diner. Her plate begins to clear very quickly, indeed. "You're going to choke on it," she warns Cam, but the smile likely makes it less effective of a warning. Wes gives Lani a look of pride, catching a similar look on her own face, likely from the reaction to their mutual creation. Okay, so maybe it's mostly Lani's creation. But still.

Wesley raises an eyebrow at Lani, something which is clearly going to be happening a lot. "Apparently not, as I've never heard of it before. What is it?" he asks, curious.

Lani grinned and pulled out her phone from her pocket and setting her plate on her lap. She leaned a bit against Wes as she scrolled through her excessive videos until she came across one in particular. Tapping her finger against the screen, she pulled up a video showing a bunch of children in bathing suits smiling and speaking a language that Hiwalani-Noa assumed was lost on Wesley's ears; Hawai'i was a dying language. The children in the video waved to the Lani behind he the camera as she followed them to where a large hog was lying on the table. Against the wishes of the adults, the children swarmed the hog with forks and knives like Walkers to fresh blood. “Pig roast.” She couldn't deny that she got a kick out of showing people the video and seeing how many could stand it without getting queasy. She had successfully caused twelve people total to vomit before the video had even ended in her time of showing how her “her people get down with the chow down”, as she says.

Cameron, meanwhile, seemed to be competing with Emilia to see who could finish first, disregarding her warning as he shoved the last bite of steak into his mouth. With bulging cheeks, he jumped into the air and proceeded to attempt talking smack, succeeding only in choking. Lani made a move to help him, dropping her phone in Wes' lap, but forced to sit down only seconds later when Cameron managed to swallow the food that had previously been stored in his cheeks, though a hunk of meat remained in his throat until he coughed it up. It flew out of his mouth, heading straight for Emilia's face and caused him to panic. His arm shot out towards the steak and held there as the steak bit stopped mid-flight and hung in the middle of the air only inches away from Em's face. Cameron stood there with his mouth open and his arm outstretched while Lani dropped her face into her hands. “Smooth move, Card.”

“Give me like two seconds and I have a totally plausible explanation for this.”

“Really? Because the first half of your statement doesn't already declare that you're lying.”, Lani spoke in a sarcastic tone with a roll of her eyes as she looked between Wes and Emi to gauge their reactions.

Wesley stares at the video, more particularly the little kids excitedly eating every part of the pig- including the face, from what he can see. Sure, he's heard of eating the head of a fish and stuff like that, but that seems to him to be entirely different than this. That's what he tells himself, anyway, to try and justify the fact that he thinks his stomach might have just flipped a little bit when the little girl dug her fork into the hog's face, which was probably blinking and snorting only hours ago. "Ugh, why would anyone-" whatever it is that he had planned to say is lost the moment that he looks over and watches as a chunk of meat launches at Emilia, who looks slightly panicked about the partially chewed projectile, and then freezes in midair in front of her face. Incredibly, his first thought is: That must smell terrible. Lani covers her hands with her face, making it clear that she already knew about this, what looks like Cameron having telekinetic powers. And then it fully dawns on Wes, who stares at Cam, trying to think of what to say, while Cam does the very same thing- though perhaps less subtly.

Meanwhile, Emilia, who had seemed shocked about this at first, has adopted a rather calm expression, with the look of someone for whom things are suddenly falling into place very quickly. Unlike Wes, whose father, the source of his abilities, left him before anything could be explained, she was raised in a family of people with supernatural abilities. The fact that they exist outside of her family is not something shocking to her in the least- it is the fact that she happened to be in the same room as someone with powers that catches her off guard. "You don't need to-" she ends up deciding that actions would speak louder than words, and grabs a piece of paper out of her pocket [the young woman always has paper and a pen on her]. She quickly sketches out a bird, and then lightly brushes it with her thumb. Suddenly, the bird sprouts out of the paper, three-dimensional, and taking one look at them, jumps up into the air and begins to fly around the room, looking for an exit apparently.

However this may have helped Lani and Cam, it only takes more words out of Wes's mouth. His younger sister's had never developed powers, or if they had then they were very secretive about it, and thus he had assumed himself to be some sort of mutant, keeping his abilities a secret from all but his mother [In fact, it is very likely that his sisters developed powers, but having the same suspicions, confided only in each other]. The fact that Emilia just made a bird come out of a drawing, and Cam can make things stop with his mind, is both thrilling and shocking for him. "Um. I do things, too," he manages to say, finally, but it comes out not seeming to mean much. Considering their personalities, Emilia should be the one at a loss for words- but background, in this situation, has made a very large difference. Well, background knowledge, to be more specific.

Cameron looked more relaxed now, adopting his goofy smile once more as Emilia presented her powers, Lani likewise. In fact, she went right back to eating as Cameron swatted the air near the steak chunk and watched it fly almost as though of its own accord right into the trashcan. His plate, fork, and glass all danced their way into the kitchen and began to wash themselves with the aid of a seemingly possessed sponge. Lani craned her head some at Wes' words and gave his shoulder a playful shove. “I'll show you mine if you show me yours.”

Emilia watches the plates and dishes dance back to the kitchen, clearly at the direction of Cameron, and clean themselves up, the scene somewhat reminiscent from the dining room part of Beauty and the Beast. "That's certainly convenient," she remarks, thinking on how much easier it would be to finish assignments if she could make the pencil move with her mind.

Wes gives Lani a sheepish short of smile at her suggestion that he show her his powers, in return for her showing him hers. The first thing that comes to mind is for him to cut his arm and have it immediately heal back, but that strikes him as somewhat gruesome- and something he doesn't want to see after watching that pig feast thing. So, instead, he stands up, offering her a hand, "You don't happen to have a car I can lift, then?" he asks brightly.

“It's why we always have so much time on our hands.”, he casually admitted. Any time that they could use their powers unseen, they did. They rarely washed dishes by hand and Cameron himself never had to spend any more than two seconds cleaning his room. Everything sorted itself with literally a snap of his fingers. It was also how he was able to document multiple things at once while still keeping his hands free or play video games while not once looking at his laptop while writing a new skit or story. Emilia really had no idea just how convenient his powers really were. He gave a bashful smile and nodded towards the window. “Maybe I could take you out for a flight trip some time.” His smile began a grin as the small bird of paper rested on his shoulder. “We can take this guy with us.”, he tapped the bird's head gently with a single finger, disregarding his sister's flirting.

Lani had taken Wes' hand and pulled herself up by it before shoving her hands into her pockets. “Actually – Cam and I scoped out this abandoned fort; Like a kid's fort. It's about a two hour drive and a thirty minute walk out. There's lots of heavy stuff for you to lift and we can all show off to our heart's content.” She grinned to Cameron who immediately threw his arms up with a loud WOOO! before she looked to Emilia and then to Wes, subtly pulling her hand from his when she realized that she had been holding it at her side.

I'll bet, Emilia agrees enviously in her mind when Cam mentions everything being a lot more convenient for him. Of course, she might be thinking how much easier things would be with telekinesis right now, but Emilia doesn't really mean it. She loves to draw and design, after all, and something would simply be taken out of it if she didn't spend all that time painstakingly sketching out each image, or digitally animating every scene. It's the little details and effort that make her work shine, after all. His offer to take her on a flight prompts a sort of hesitant smile from Emilia- he seems confident enough in his abilities, but she doesn't know that he's tried carrying two people before. "You can have him, if you like," she says, nodding towards the bird.

"You guys already found an abandoned fort? Fast workers. Sounds like a blast to me- you know, lifting things is my specialty," Wes responds with unhesitating agreement. This is a thrill for him, who has never really been able to show his full abilities to people, just practicing when no one is looking. Even during the olympics and during soccer games, he holds himself back a little bit- can't be too good, or people become suspicious, after all. He gives her hand a squeeze before realizing that he has done it, only just noticing that he's still holding it. When she pulls his hand from his, the young man looks embarrassed, and rubs the back of his neck, glancing away.

"Wait- let me get my to-go kit from my car?" Emilia requests upon hearing of his expedition. The project she's working on, and it's deadline tomorrow afternoon, is already slipping her mind in all the excitement, clearly. She wants to get her on the go art kit out of her car- if she's going to show off for people outside of her family, she wants to be best equipped.

They loaded into Lani and Cameron's car shortly after, a blue 2008 Buick Enclave. It was a gift from their father and their baby; Their very first car. With her brother, her friends, and the pets in the car, Lani peeled out. At Cameron's advisary, they stopped to grab some subs, juice, and fruit to take with them in case they got hungry. The ride there was filled with laughter, music, and quite a bit of head banging as they all took some time to bond before shouldering backpacks, grabbing leashes, and trekking through the forest and finally coming across a large piece of abandoned land. It looked as though they were going to build a condo, but the equipment had been left there and already had years of rust accumulated.

"So, tell me,"
Wes begins, staring up at this large masterpiece of an almost, "How exactly did you two just find this thing? Do you regularly take hikes in forests in the middle of nowhere?" Indeed, the road that they had been on before pulling into the woods hadn't exactly been near a rest stop or anything. This made the place perfect for showing off abilities that would have a person in a lab under some bright lights if found by the wrong person, of course, but also seemed like a strange place for one to look at and think 'Hey! This would be a great place to pull over and just walk around in for an hour or so.' He's glad that whatever motivated them to walk through here did, though, because it looks like a dream come true for just climbing around and hanging out at- a little kid's jungle gym on steroids, so to speak. Their answer is responded to with a simple shrug and nod before he decides that it is time to show them what he's got- and not in the least part due to the fact that the very pretty Lani is watching. Being around her gives him the need to seem impressive- when he's not too busy messing around and such, anyway.

Noticing a large steel bar, the sort that cranes lift up and are ultimately used to create infrastructures and the like, Wes walks over and hoists it into the air. This should make it clear enough that he has enhanced strength, given that it would take at least five or six strong men to pick it up. He acts like it's a small sack of flour- not weightless, but hardly troubling to carry. The young man then walks it over and leans it against the building -or the would-be building- at an angle which makes it quite useful as ramp for easy access to the second floor of the large testament to discarded possibilities. "Ladies first," he says with a smile, gesturing towards it. Apparently, he'd like to find the fastest route to the top floor. Wes is very much interested in seeing the view from there.

Emilia glances at the others after Wes's creation of the makeshift ramp. The young woman is a bit tired after the trek here- and her neck certainly hurts from the car-ride over, so she's perfectly fine with this easier way up. Unlike the others- an athlete, a dancer, and someone who appears to be in good shape regardless of profession, she isn't much for exercise and the like, and thus is probably the only one feeling worn out. Wes certainly shows no sign of anything like that- he could easily have just taken a very short and light walk, for all of the signs he's showing.

"This place is amazing, though. How many times have you come before?" she asks Cam and Lani collectively.

Hiwalani-Noa smiled at Wes as he questioned her about the place. She moved alongside him as he picked up a girder and carried it like it was nothing. Nothing!! His strength had her in awe, her jaw dropping as she forgot for a moment that he had even said anything. “Jeepers! You're like... Thor, or something!” She gave an excited giggle, clapping her hands rapidly. “I'm going to call you Hercules from now on – Herc for short!”, she laughed as she danced past him and made her way towards the makeshift ramp, finally remembering that he had asked a question. “Yes we do, actually. Seeing if we can find any wild plants to use. Or any wild grapes. There's actually a stream over that way-”, she pointed off into the distance. “- that has a lot. We were hiking with our dad when we found the place.”, she commented over her shoulder to Emilia with a smile.

Lani didn't just walk up the ramp. She took a running start and made her way up through a series of absolutely perfect tumbling moves, showing her prowess in gymnastics. Her twists were graceful and her bends flawless as she made her way up to the very top floor, sixty feet up. “Watch this!”, she called down to them from above before throwing her head back. The sound she made was very much like a howl, though it was far more melodious and beautiful, slipping past her lips with ease and filling the air all around with, echoing from the tree tops. As she did, multicolored music notes began to flow from her mouth and swirl around her and the others, dancing around them like they were in a Disney movie. She put her heart and soul into it, closing her eyes as she sustained the final note. Cameron closed his own eyes as well, feeling a chill go down his spine as she put her all into that single howl, her abilities causing him to feel a sudden deep sense of freedom and energy that caused him to throw his own head back and let out a howl of his own that mingled with his sister's, the dogs, and the wolves in the distant.

As Lani had focused on Wes, seemingly intent on making a more personal impression than she had the first time they had met, that left Cameron to chat with Emilia. He didn't mind though, sensing how tired she was from the travel. Without warning, he hoisted her up onto his back, giving her a piggy back ride as he followed towards the ramp. “Whenever we would come into town, we would come and stay out here for hours. We had time then because we were just here for things like ComiCon and VidCon and some other conventions.” The two siblings were extreme nerds and well known for going all out for ComiCon, staying in character and often attending as Hero/Nemesis and duking it out on stage for the contests. “Not really the nature type, huh?” He gave a chuckle, craning his neck to look up at her a little, pausing on the ramp just about twenty feet above the ground.

Were Wesley Peter Pan, he likely would have felt obligated to crow, seeing the obviously impressed look on Lani's face while he moved the large iron bar. He's never been able to show off in front of others before, and the exhilaration of it pumps through his veins, to some extent. Somehow, being able to exhibit what he is truly capable of, even in front of only a few people, is just as rewarding as winning the Olympic Decathlon. After all, he had never entered the Olympics for the sake of international fame or anything like that- it was done so that he could, at least in some small part, show the world what he was capable of- even if that required holding himself back even then, for there would have been serious suspicions had he thrown a weight several miles away, as he is capable of doing when he focuses himself on it. Lani walks, or rather dances past him, up the makeshift ramp, answering his question as she does so. "Wild grapes? I wouldn't mind trying some of those later on,"
he comments with traces of nostalgia in his voice- as a child, he had once visited his grandmother, who lived near a vineyard that he would sneak into. Her house was cramped, but the area for exploration around it had always seemed limitless. That place had been the definition of summer in his youth.

Wes then watches Lani's dancing evolve into flips and the sort of tumbling that might earn someone a gymnastic gold medal. It is his turn to be impressed, now. To think she tripped over herself and slammed into me this morning, Wes muses, not without amusement, as he watches the girl, who now seems as though clumsiness is not a remote possibility for her. "I'm starting to think you just pretend to be clumsy to seem more relatable," he calls out behind her, beginning to follow her up when she suddenly throws back her head and begins to produce song- as well as visible music notes, strangely enough. Not accustomed to the force of it, as Cameron is, her music hits Wes like a brick wall, crashing over him. At first, it feels like glass shards pricking into him, making goosebumps rise with an almost painful chill. But that is washed away by a warm, soft feeling, that he can only describe through memories- getting his scholarship, buying his mother a new house, starting a trust fund for his sisters, the last birthday before his father left. The feeling is amazing, and yet, the emotions are almost too raw for him. It's frightening.

"Wow. That was. . .just. . . Wow," he says, at a complete loss for words. The young man makes his way up to where Lani is, though his means of doing it -free climbing- is significantly less graceful than his had been. "Your concerts must be religious experiences, or something," Wes tells her, regaining his composure by the time he has reached Lani.

Emilia was too wrapped up in her own reaction to Lani's music, one which had resulted in tears streaming down her face in a way which she was trying very hard to prevent by looking up and blinking them away, to notice Cameron nearing; his sudden hoisting up of her comes as a bit of a surprise, needless to say. "Erm. . .please don't drop me," she asks nervously. She listens to his explanation, but is also somewhat preoccupied with trying not to lean against him too much- hard, considering that he's currently carrying her on his back. Of course, I've seen them at comiccon. They probably didn't notice me, though, she thinks. The young woman is the sort to enjoy comic-cons, and the fact that she's seen people cosplaying as characters she's designed is something that she's quite proud of. The girl would do it herself, but thinks it perhaps a bit narcissistic. Recently, she's had to stick around panels and like, but she still cosplays- recently characters from RWBY have been her favorite.

Emilia blushes when he comments on her 'not being the nature type.' "I never really went camping or anything as a child. It's more the hiking part, I guess- I'm not really, erm, an athlete," her words come while she thinks of Wes and Lani- both incredibly athletic and graceful and the like. "I take it you are a nature person?"

Lani couldn't help but to give a bow at the compliments delivered by Wesley, her chest swelling a bit with pride. “My concerts are amazing. You should come to one of them.” Her concerts truly were amazing -and that wasn't just her ego talking- and her chances of getting a bad review towards any of her work were one in a gazillion. Okay, well, she did get a few bad reviews on her work (music, modeling, acting, dancing and such) but those were the people who simply thought that she was too perfect to be true. Apparently, she was too nice.

They had all accused her of most likely being secretly a diva of sorts and assumed that she was the type to throw tantrums and demand a high level of pampering. It couldn't be further from the truth, though. “And -”, she began, “ - I'm only clumsy when I'm not trying to be.” Wes was right that she could probably (definitely) win a gold medal as an Olympic gymnast. What he didn't know was that she could do it in an ball gown and heels. When she actually put her mind to it, she was extremely coordinated and could do any thing that she had seen even just once without needing to watch it in slow motion.

Cameron had made it to the top with the others without too much of a struggle, setting Emilia down gently before stretching out. “Yup. In nearly every sense of the word.”, he answered with a grin towards her. “I got into Neo-Druidry when I was about ten; after Lani's dad adopted me. He believes that a healthy, balanced body and lifestyle and living in harmony with the world around you promotes a healthy soul and mind.” His tone of voice was nonchalant as he unclipped the Nikon video camera from his belt loop and turned it on. Holding it out, he filmed his three companions before running towards the edge, doing a front flip just as his feet pressed against the very edge of the concrete and the ground seemed to be rushing towards him quickly. He could have sworn he had heard someone scream, bringing a smile to his face.

Just before he was about to go splat, his body veered upwards. He released the camera so that it floated in front of him as he held his arms out and made sounds like a five year old playing airplanes in the backyard. Words simply couldn't describe the way he felt with the wind rushing through his hair as he glided about. He couldn't go too fast because he hadn't thought to bring his goggles and the wind would sting his eyes like it had the first time he had taken flight.

He made his way back over to where the others were, grabbing his camera as his feet touched the unfinished floor once more. “You guys want to go to a Halloween party next weekend? It's going to be by the beach!” A smile donned his face as he adjusted his hair, running his fingers through it as he approached the others discussing their powers.

Wes merely grins at Lani while she admits that her concerts are typically fantastic- the matter of fact confidence in her voice is kind of cute, actually. But, as she appears to have a supernatural inclination towards all things performance and the like, he supposes it would take an almost unhealthy dose of humility for to deny her own capacity for greatness on the stage. As far as he is concerned, there is no problem with showing off or bragging, so long as one has something to back it up, and it doesn't hurt the people around him in anyway. Of course, many of his childhood friends were the arrogant 'king of the school' types, so maybe he's just accustomed to confidence to the point where it's refreshing when it's not in your face or rude. Honestly, he'd stopped really hanging out with that sort of crowd almost immediately upon graduating high school- and none of them had reached the athletic success they'd boasted of being worthy of- only Wes accomplished this, though his natural abilities gave him an unfair advantage. People could train their entire lives and still never run as fast as he could, or lift as heavy an object as she.

"I'd like to go to one of them- I'd be expecting backstage passes for a meet'n'greet, of course. And my sisters would kill me if I didn't bring them along,"
in this moment, it's only natural for him to think of his sisters- they're only huge pr0digy fans. And, of course, he's always been the sort of big brother who dotes upon his younger siblings.

The athlete raises an eyebrow in mock skepticism about her claim regarding her clumsiness, and when it materializes.

By the time they had reached the top, Emilia had become very embarrassed about being carried up to the top in a way suitable for a child. She had considered asking him to let her down several times, but never actually said anything. If she knew about his telepathy on top of the telekinesis, the girl would have been doubly embarrassed, without a doubt. Luckily, Cam begins answering her, distracting the girl. "Sounds a bit like Daoism," she says, mostly to herself.

And then Cam jumps off the building. At first, both Wes and Emilia are taken off guard, but remembering that he can likely stop himself using his telekinesis, they settle. The two turn their attentions to Lani, allowing Cam to do whatever it is he's doing. Definitely not going flying with him, Emilia thinks resolutely.

"So, you're power is invoking emotion in people- on top of supernatural coordination, then?" Wes addresses Lani, whose powers continue to lean towards ambiguity in their nature. Emilia tunes in as well, curious.

A few minutes later, Cam rejoins them, inviting them, virtually out of the blue, to a halloween party. Wes doesn't need to think twice: "Sounds like a good time to me." Emilia smiles in agreement- despite the impression of being occasionally a bit of a shut-in that she may give off, the girl loves the beach.

"Whose party is it? Should we wear costumes?" Emilia asks- envisioning a bunch of people wearing bathing suit-based costumes.

The following week was a lot better than Cameron and Lani had expected it to be when they had first moved in. When they hadn't realized who lived there with them. Except Cameron would watch horror films before going to bed so he would have nightmares and not dream about Em because with his particular abilities, his dreams sometimes leaked out to those around him and he didn't want Emilia to think he was one of those guys who would hang out with a girl once and have all their kids named within a twenty-four hour period.

Well, he already had their kids named before hanging out with her....So. But anyways, Lani had spent more time hanging around Wes after her agent (Cameron) pulled a few strings and got Wes as her mentor. She was doing a movie about a Natasha Kai and in an attempt to spend more time with Wes, she demanded that the producers allow Wes to mentor her rather than Mia Hamm if her agent could get the athlete to say yes. Which was pretty easy.

Cameron hadn't really been doing much to further his own career. He had been bumming around on the couch playing video games, sometimes inviting Em over to hang out with him, but only after making sure there were leftovers in the fridge. Things were going pretty well for them as the four formed their own little wolf pack, much like in Hangover, minus the drugs.

Halloween had come around soon enough and Lani emerged from her condo donning a costume that would be easily recognized by those familiar with Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Sure, the skirt was a bit short and her bust was a bit more pushed up, but she was working that outfit, barefoot and all. Her steps jingle-jangled with the ankle bracelets as Cameron followed behind her donning only a bow tie and a mankini. He was a stripper and he was working it. As they passed through the streets and went from house to house, parents hurried their kids out of his way and women were rushing to have their picture taken with him.

It was ten by the time they made it to the party at Venice Beach, Cameron struggling through the crowd to find Em while Lani belted it out onstage as the opening act before the DJ took over. Cameron finally found Emilia and talked her into dancing with him while Lani was splashing at the water's edge with a bottle of blue liquor in her hand.

Once Lani's performance is over, Wes begins to weave around, looking for her among the throngs of people. He still doesn't actually know who is hosting this party, but gives kudos to them- the best of everything is here, it seems. The weather is perfect, which is an added bonus, given that he is just wearing his soccer uniform, something for which he was earlier poked at about- it isn't really the most original costumes, after all. He's never actually been much for things like that, though- costumes and clothing and whatnot. Besides, his uniform is comfortable and had been, miraculously, clean. Thus, a soccer player he pretends, rather poorly given that it is the truth, to be. After a bit of searching, he finally founds the singer, standing by the water and looking a good deal better in this lighting than anyone has the right to be.

"Was that a teaser when I go to a real concert? Because I'm definitely hooked,"
he says by way of greeting, bumping his shoulder against hers with a goofy smile. The two of them have had a lot of chances to grow closer since Lani convinced her agent that shadowing a male soccer player was just as good as a female one in order to prepare for her new role. Wes had no complaints. Unfortunately, neither did the rest of his soccer team.

"Esmerelda? My sisters have seen that movie a thousand times,"
he continues, gesturing towards her costume and then riveting his eyes back to her face. "So, who exactly is throwing this party, by the way?"

"I'm sorry if I, erm, bump into you or step on your feet," Emilia apologizes preemptively, though mostly without need. She may not be as graceful or athletic as the other three, but she is at least competent enough in coordination to avoid inflicting pain upon her dance partner. One who is wearing nothing but a 'mankini' and bowtie, as she had noted with some nervousness. At least they're both wearing bowties- Emi had opted for a Zatanna costume for the party, one she had from back when she attended conventions more for just walking around.

She wasn't sure how he'd managed to talk her onto the dance floor, really. Lani and Cameron seemed to have a talent for getting their way, from what she has observed. Thus, the girl who had skipped over homecomings and proms in favor of staying home to draw or play video games finds herself on a dance floor which is crowded with people. Knowing that she has little hope of dancing gracefully, or even in a manner that might be deemed sexy or anything along those lines, Emi just follows Cam's moves. "So, did you borrow that from someone, or was it just lying around?" she asks, regarding Cam's costume, though she immediately regrets drawing attention to it. Too much skin this close, her mind warns anxiously.

Lani's eyes twinkled as she turned to Wes after he bumped her, bumping him with her hips and giving a light, dimpled smile after issuing a thank you for the comment about her performance. “I adore gypsies. Or at least the romanticized, old-school ones. These modern Romani are trashy.” She made a face before giving a gentle smile once more. “Oh – That would be Dave and James Franco, actually. They pretty much own the beach for the night.” She grinned a bit as she adjusted her purple bandana some. “Cam got the invite after he played a lovely little

prank on them.”
She let her hand slide into his, feeling that it was acceptable to do so. They weren't exclusive or anything – It wasn't like she had changed her Facebook status. But she liked the way it made him give a goofy, boyish smile that melted her heart. “Cameron might even get them to shoot a video with us. Or go pranking with us.”, she splurged, allowing herself to give an air of excitement.

Cameron was doing his best not to squish himself against Emilia. She wasn't exactly a social butterfly – At least not in the ways that the other three were. She was a bit more timid. He didn't mind it, sometimes doing his best to stifle his outrageous behavior around her for fear of making her feel uncomfortable. He gave her his best smile, the corners of his lips pulling up equally on each side. “Actually, I tan in these and this tie is from my suit that I wore to a prom last year. One of our viewers won me as their date for the night.”

He gave a light chuckle, resisting the urge to lift her by the waist and give her a little spin. “Don't worry about stepping on me – If you want, we can Scooby Doo this bitch.” He gave a bigger smile and released her before proceeding to perform a goofy dance from A Pup Named Scooby Doo, easily recognized as Shaggy's shuffle. With his hair, ability to imitate people, and his appearance in general, he could have easily dressed up as Shaggy. But this was more fun.

"Are they?" Wes asks, voice faraway because he's preoccupied with a curl of hair against her face. "I wouldn't know, I guess. I've never met one." When she tells him who the hosts are, Wes's eyebrows raise slightly. He's never met either of the Franco brothers, possibly because he tends to spend his time more around athletes than actors. However, if he's to base an opinion off of movies or random interviews he's seen, they do seem like pretty fun people. He wouldn't mind meeting them- if they aren't already crowded with party guests eager to monopolize their hosts.

Feeling her hand in his, Wes smiles, his boyish smile that seems like it should be dimpled. He hasn't realized yet how much she likes that smile- he'd wear it always if he did. But, hopefully she hasn't found out how much he likes her dimples and eyes yet. "Pranking? Sounds fun- I think I know a certain soccer player who would very much like to at least watch," he continues, smiling still.

"But for now- would you like to go on a walk?"

Seeing Cam's smile, Emi can't help but return it with one of her own. The fact that he tans in a mankini, whether or not he's telling the truth though she very much trusts that he is, knowing him even as little as she does. Imagining him at a high school prom is equally amusing, because he probably a) towered over everyone else and b) was incredibly goofy the whole time. His scooby doo suggestion, and following dance, are followed by a burst of laughter from Emi, the sort that comes out before it can be stopped.

She begins with mimicking him, but after a moment switches over to Velma's dance from the same show. Her smile has turned into almost a beam of sorts, making it clear that she is having fun.

"By the way, would you be interesting in being part of the cartoon I'm working on? You and Lani- as voices and directors?" She asks, a subject she's been meaning to bring up. A pilot she made for the cartoon aired last week, and the ratings were high enough that she got the go ahead for a 18 episode season.

The idea of a walk down the beach at night with a hot guy on one arm and a drink in her other hand sounded like a great way to spend the night. She obliged and answered by taking the lead and tugging him alongside her as they made their way away from the party. She glanced over her shoulder only once to see Cameron and Emilia doing their Scooby Doo dance on the outskirts of the mobbed crowd. The night went on and the party went hard as Lani and Wes found a small rock grouping to sit on while they talked and shared a drink, Cameron and Em disappearing from the crowd to talk on the shoreline about her new series as the water lapped at their feet.

But as the night did go on, it was time to leave soon. Cameron had managed to successfully deter Lani from getting her first kiss with Wes when he began hurling candy at them from the shadows. It was three in the morning and they all needed to get some rest. So they bid their farewells, managing to snag a few pictures with some of the celebrities there, catching their gracious hosts just before leaving. Well, it was more like their hosts caught them. The older Franco accompanied his younger brother as they greeted the Kealohas and their companions with hugs and handshakes before handing them invitations to another party, assuring them that it was more of a soirée than a wild style party. Formal attire was required. Of course Lani and Cameron were eager to accept, being persuaded after being told that Peter Jackson was going to be there.

After a short conversation about nothing in particular, the four headed home and bid their dates for the night a good night.

Lani
Cam

The weekend had come and it was a glorious weekend indeed. Lani and Cameron were up with the sun for their yoga just in time for Lani to meet up with Wes for their workout. Despite having grown to be close enough friends in a short amount of time, he spared her no special treatment when it came to training. She did notice that his mood seemed to change a bit whenever they were around his teammates and they started flirting with her.

She thought it was cute when he would wrinkle his nose while Matt Sharps would put his arm around her and ask her what the perfect date was. But what was cuter was the grin that donned his face when she finally had enough of their attention and told them that she was seeing somebody already. She smirked when they asked who before taking off with Wes again to resume their training. Most of it was working on her legs and coordination, but it was nothing that she couldn't handle. Honestly, they both knew that she didn't need the training at all, doing it mostly for the public image.

And maybe just a little to spend time with each other.

From jogging to soccer drills to pumping iron at the gym, they had a long day and it wasn't even three o'clock yet. They took only one or two breaks, moving location every once in a while when a few of his teammates in particular would come around to show off in an attempt to gain her favor. But it was still a good day, all-in-all.

Wes decided that she'd had enough and called it quits around one o'clock, agreeing to meet up for lunch with the dogs after a shower. Wes knew a great little diner that had an organic menu. Cameron wasn't there when she arrived, but she didn't think too much about it. He was probably somewhere watching Emilia work or sulking because he couldn't. Most likely he was on the beach tanning though.

She grabbed her dogs, making sure that she looked extra fabulous before dashing out. It seemed like she was prone to bumping into people around this condo, as she slammed into a young woman who upstairs and had been on her way downstairs. “Oh! I'm so sorry! Are you alright?” Lani immediately apologized as she tried to help the larger girl up, having been able to keep her own balance for once.

The redhead pushed her away with what was almost a hiss, narrowing her eyes while dusting off her shirt and pants as though the floor was filthy. “Are you serious?! Watch where you're going, witch-eyed bitch!” Lani held her hands up in surrender as the girl took off down the stairs. The Hawaiian blinked until she heard the door close, choosing then to ease downstairs. A light frown graced her face as she tried to remember where she recognized her from.

Ah! She was a comedian. Or trying to be. She was seriously so not funny that it was sad. But her uncle was chairman of the board at HBO so she had her own crappy little show. It was depressing to watch and worse than Sara Silverman. Lani shuddered before heading downstairs and beginning to head for the diner. She was there before Wes was, having spent little to no time on hair and deciding against makeup. Grabbing a chair outside, she ordered one of their chocolate shakes and tied her dogs to a nearby post, thanking the waiter for bringing them beef. LA wasn't bad – Places for people and their pets to chow down. She was in love.

Cameron, on the other hand, hadn't slept at all. Well, maybe just a few hours. He was back up around four in the morning and had taken off to go film the city's activity as it was so early the morning. He was able to get a few interviews with people, questioning them about how life in LA was on a daily basis, pros and cons. It was nothing elaborate – He tended to do the same to most people he ran across whenever he moved to a new place. His favorite was still Tokyo. Japan was just plain amazing as far as scenery with. Though he hadn't been to the UK yet and he had heard and seen great things. The Italian countryside was nice, but there was just something about Japan that he liked.

He did his project alone, not wanting to bother his sister because he knew that she had a workout early in the morning. He did make it home in time to do yoga with her though. After she left, he went out again to scout possible jobs for both he and Lani. So far she had her soccer movie, they had the job with Em's new series, and that was it. Cameron wanted to find them some musical gigs. Or modeling. He had been able to contact Maxim to get Lani on the cover next month while he was going to grace a few fitness magazines.

Nothing like a magazine cover to boost his ego about his physical appearance.

But while he was booking gigs for he and Lani both and pulling a few pranks, signing a few autographs, and taking a few pictures, he kept thinking back to Emilia. It wasn't much of a secret that he had a crush on her, but he wasn't really experienced with talking to girls that he actually liked. Yeah, he was used to flirting with girls who were like him – Outgoing, a bit loud, and debatably outrageous. But she was almost his polar opposite as far as personality was concerned. He was more mellow around her.

He had worried that he come on too strong and decided that maybe he would swing by her place. Maybe turned into definitely soon enough and he was on his way back home, finding the four larger dogs gone and assuming that Lani and Wes took them out to the beach or something. Putting a leash on the small golden retriever, Russel, and placing Doctor Evil the Little Kitten on his head, he grabbed his backpack and headed down to Emilia's apartment, knocking gingerly at the door. “Hey, Em! Got a minute?!” His voice wasn't quite as cheery as usual, though it wasn't exactly melancholy. It was simply...mellow. The man (who had a shirt on this time) waited outside the door as Dr. Evil slept atop his head, his little claws extending as he pawed gently at Cam's scalp. It was a bit soothing, really.

Having Lani around during training certainly pushed Wes to work harder, though he would likely deny this tiny desire to show off in front of her. Besides, even without effort, he surpassed his teammates, simply due to a supernatural advantage. He works out as much as they do only for two reasons, neither of which is to keep in the same shape as them. For one thing, it would seem almost mocking for him to never show up for the weightlifting and training that they have before beginning practices with drills and little games. Besides that, he actually quite enjoys working out. Supernaturally athletic or not, he still feels the same refreshed happiness as most people do, if they are used to exercise, after a while of working out. There's a reason that he often goes to the gym or goes jogging every day, even when he doesn't have practice.

Perhaps the only negative to bringing Lani to training with him is the fact that the other members of the team are constantly checking her out- perhaps even when she doesn't realize it's happening. Luckily, Lani has shown no signs of returning this interest, or else Wes would probably become a bit too jealous. He's a typically mild sort of person, but there are certain things that can trigger a reaction out of him- and Lani has been one of those things since their first series of commercials together. So he's glad that, despite not needing to practice in order to be in shape for the role, Lani is preparing for it with him. Besides, even if she doesn't need the work outs or anything, perhaps she is benefiting from learning specific soccer strategies and vocabulary. Wes likes to think so, if nothing else.

Right now, however, they are not training. Rather, Wes is getting out of the shower and dressing, as he is going to meet Lani at a diner he'd discovered a few weeks ago that allowed dogs. She'd seemed thrilled at the prospect of the diner: organic and allows pets. There is a reason he'd invited her there, after all, very much suspecting that she'd like it. In fact, even when he first went there, purely on impulse, the diner had practically screamed Lani to him. Hopefully she likes the food as much as he does.

The diner is fairly nearby, and therefore Wes elects to walk to it. He passes by a redhaired girl on his way, just as she walks into her apartment. The girl gives him a look that is somewhere between irritation and attraction, and altogether confusing to Wes, who ignores it. The walk to the diner is brief, and he is rewarded with seeing Lani sitting outside with the animals, a chocolate shake before her. Wes grins, for even though he prefers to strawberry milkshake here, he knows for a fact that the desserts here are delicious. Lani has made an excellent choice.

"Didn't think you'd arrive so early. How's the shake?" he asks while pulling out a chair and sitting down, before petting Yum Yum, who is quick to greet him.

Em, meanwhile, didn't wake up quite as early as the others had. After a late night of working on sketches for future episodes of her series, which has dominated her attention quite thoroughly, despite the necessity to keep up with other projects. The girl isn't really the best at waking up early after late nights, and this was clear in the fact that she didn't wake up until perhaps an hour before noon. Upon waking up, she had immediately decided that it was far too dark in her apartment, and opened every single curtain- the girl was lucky to have a corner apartment, meaning she did have a good amount of light. Still, it always felt too shadowy, especially after working all night.

As she did so, a miniature person slid down the string which pulled up the blinds, calling out something to the other miniature person, or rather some sort of fairy thing, which fluttered around it. In her drowsiness, she had forgotten to return them to the page. After ten unsuccessful minutes of trying to catch the fairy [whose advantage of flight made them more difficult to catch than their little friend], Em decided to shower and eat breakfast, then deal with it.

And she has done both of these things, breakfast being quick because it was composed entirely of hot chocolate and a banana, by the time that a knocking on the door can be heard. She glances back at the fairy, who is whistling from atop the fridge and crying taunts at her [Em has a passion for rude and mischievous faeries, typically disliking the modern tinkerbell types, perhaps preferring the old tinkerbell, and myths of tricky faeries]. Once again pushing off the task, she goes to the front door and opens it, pushing hair out of her face. Not only is she met by Cameron, whom she may or may not be quite taken with, sort of swept away by his energy, but by a tiny kitten and their little golden retriever puppy.

"Yeah, sure, I just-" she is interrupted by the faerie whizzing past her ear and screaming something about stupid humans and "You'll never catch me, rainbow girl!" and other such things.
