The two of them were captured by an evil witch whom wanted to eat them. With some other from an outside source they were able to escape and kill the witch. Now that it has been some time back home, they make the best of each day. Gretel tends to stay near home, always with any of the other children. Shortly after returning from her horrible adventure, she began to learn how to throw knives. An elder boy in their village offered to teach her and she accepted. Although he has left town for his own adventure, she practices daily, keeping in mind his words. These days seem quite uneventful, but she likes it that way.
Recently two evil witches who claim to be the witches sister whom she helped kill, began threatening them. It was decided it be best to run from the village as protection for them. Finding protection from other sources has been their decided plan, but they must travel through the dark woods once again. Gretel fears the worst of this situation, but has high hopes their destination will lead to a better world for all.
