Manny looked down and smiled at the girl, didn't look like she could hurt a fly. But of course he knew otherwise. With bag in hand, the older man followed her inside, setting it down on a small end table and looking around the home. Still intact, that was a good sign. He was half expecting this place to be wrecked. Manny gave her a chuckle when she asked him if she could fix Mao.
"But of course I can! I can fix darn near everything. No need to worry yourself, young lady." He said to Kou and patted her lightly on the shoulder.
Moving over to his bag, he pulled out a few standard tools and pocketed them,"Alright dear, first I need to see what the problem is. Just a harmless little diagnostic. I was told that you got wet, if that is the case then this will be done in a matter of minutes. It being just a short, all I have to do is locate it and reinsulate it." He calmly told Mao, keeping a calm smile. Working with live wires always carried a thrill. Especially alien stuff. This was the kind of work he lived for. So he got to work, he had already looked over the wonderous schematics the agency had given him on her but thankfully this small of a fix was standard electrician work.
Bosco did not quite know what to make of this guy. He was another agent, and that immediately put him on alert. Sure, he sounded nice, and didn't seem like he was meaning any harm. But that was how these agents get to you. Still, Moa did needed help, this man was apparently qualified to do at least minor repairs. He didn't seem intimidated at all by the mech girl's inner workings. Bosco would still keep an eye on her though.
Bosco sighed, and looked out the window. The glass was still covered in droplets but it had stopped raining. Such strange weather here on earth. He sort of began to zone out as he gazed outside. To think he was just sitting here. Waiting to go home, but that goal felt like centuries away. Kou, August, Moa, Mako... His thoughts drifted from person to person, to home and earth and future and past.
He shook his head to try and get his mind away from that stuff. Thinking too much about those things would put him in a bad place. He needed to focus on the here and now. Surely it couldn't hurt to just forget everything for just one afternoon.
