Misa Kakauso's Story

He was a bit embarrassed that she noticed his wet shirt. "Uhh, I kinda was scared by what I thought was a dog." He scratched his head when he said this. "I hope we get a job today as well, things are getting a bit bland these days. " He knew that they would probably get more jobs, but he didn't want to give Misa false hope. His next words were serious and were said in the tone that you only heard when Callus was angered or disturbed by something. "I found a suspicious guy carrying a bag over his shoulder, he was going into the sewers. I'm guessing he might be the perk we're looking for, so I'm going out to investigate this incident. You can come with me if you wish, but I am taking this seriously and I am also using my powers on this investigation if needed." Callus never used his powers unless needed, since he could use a knife or gun instead of his powers. He returned to his normal self and said the following words "So are you coming or not?" He said this with a cheerful attitude hoping to perhaps be able to catch a thing committing crimes, since it might boost the fame the Demon Bureau has. He grabbed his pistol and a couple of knifes, preparing to go and fight the monster under in the sewers if needed. He hoped only Misa would follow him down there, since any more company would be a nuisance. He was taking this investigation seriously and was preparing to fight a powerful demon considering the aura he felt when he tailed the thing that went into the sewers.

"I do not plan to hide my power from this creature, since it may take all of our power to take it down." He was going to full force against this demon and he was used to her saying she would eat a demon to hid evidence, since he occasionally did it considering he is a predatory animal. He put on a jacket and hid his weapons in places were he could get them easily, he was ready to fight whatever they would find down there. He loaded his pistol and removed the safety, of course he put it in his holster so he wouldn't shoot himself. He went outside and headed for the less populated district, since demons usually hid there waiting for an unlucky visitor to lurk into the alleyways between buildings. A demon was in one of alleys and it pulled Callus in, Callus shot the demon through it's head before it could do anything to him. He was used to being attacked randomly and didn't think much of the latest attack, but he did check the demon to see if any traces of the aura he felt yesterday was on it. None, so this demon he was chasing didn't know Callus was looking for him or he knew Callus was looking for him and sent a weak demon to kill Callus, either way Callus was going to investigate this demon and see what it was up to. After a bit of traveling he found the correct sewer gate and he pulled it up and jumped in, it reeked of sewage. He didn't really care what it smelt like, he grabbed his gun from his holster and cocked it. He saw the faint trail of a powerful aura, so he motioned to Misa with his hand that a demon was near. He hoped the kid back at the office wouldn't go through his stuff and find the papers he wrote pertaining to this investigation, but it wouldn't matter unless the kid already had the papers. This was going to be an interesting day, and he was prepared to enjoy it to the fullest.

Aurde was walking the empty valley, where when he felt demon presence. There were three, one left no so long ago. The other two's presence was familiar, but he dismissed the thought. <Could be anyone suspicious that made contact with some one I know. Got to be careful.> He then slowly got up, and placed his sheathed katana into the string that tied around his waist. He crept slowly, as the presence got bigger and bigger, and when he turned around, it was Misa and Callus, members of his workplace. "What - it's you guys? Thought it was someone else." He placed his palm to his face. He joined no long ago, and they welcomed him in the office. Though the place pretty much lost it's popularity, he still stayed at the place since it was first time of the year that anyone accepted him as a demon. "You two on a job? Need any help?"

"Sorry..." Kyo muttered. He sheathed his sword and hid hid wings again. His hair also returned to his short-cut hair that he had usually.

"Well hello there." A new demon chimed in. "I would rather have this demon alive. Only kill if there is absolutely no other way." Her ear seperated from her head and turned into a mechanical device that had a tiny metal arm. "A heartbeat can be heart just down the tunnel. Take caution." She said as the device returned to where it was. Kyo watched with a face that showed he was a little bit disturbed.

"Um... What was that?" Kyo said as soon as the whole thing was over.

Anyone who could sense emotion could see that Callus was feeling a bit 'violent' , but no one besides Misa has seen this state of mind he was in. He noticed that he might not get to fight or rip apart anything today, since Misa said she would rather have this demon alive than dead. "Damn it, I was getting excited there." He hasn't let loose in a while now and his urge to kill was being suppressed and that only made his urge more tempting. He decided he would have to turn into his fox form, since it would be easier to move in this form and his clothes disappeared when he transformed. His clothes reappeared when he changed his form back to human though, so he didn't have to worry about that. He knew this demon would probably not go down without a fight, and it probably would attack this group without care. He was excited still, since it seemed to have such a powerful aura that it emanated. "This demon seems to be quite powerful, dangerous too." He licked his lips when he said dangerous, this wasn't his normal self and his suppressed urge to destroy was showing up. "I''m going into fox form, since it'll be easier for me to fight and move." His fox form was big and he had many dangerously sharp teeth in his mouth.

He could still speak in this form, but most humans saw it as unnatural that a fox could speak. "I'm still not used to your eyebot Misa." He turned to the other demoness that was close to him and Misa. "Hello, do not damage the demon too much. I haven't had a chance to let loose my urge to destroy, I mean if we have to fight it of course." The other demons in his presence could probably tell that he was urging to rip apart the demon that they were tracking and they could also tell that he wouldn't have too much trouble taking it down, unless it was hiding a lot of it's power. Either way he would enjoy fighting it and he would probably not hold back in fighting it. He noticed the flames the girl produced and they reminded him of a fox fire. "That looks a lot like a fox fire, too bad I can't use a fox fire." Callus had not fought a demon king yet, but he wished to see what sort of power they would have. But having a demon king in this world would mean a lot of chaos would be brought by a demon king's mere presence. If this demon was trying to summon a demon king, then they would have to stop it all costs. It was hard to summon a demon king though, since you needed quite a bit of human souls to bring a demon of that power in to this world.

Aurde was probably forgotten, but he followed the group nonetheless. <Seems fun.> According to his memories, whenever these group of demons gets together, hell would rise and chaos would occur. He didn't mind though. If that were to happen, he would have more time to fight demons that he would usually now. "I hope you didn't forget me, did you, Misa?" Sarcasm in his voice, he thought he would be of some help, IF the target were to escape, but most of the time, it's usually dead by then, and that only one time where they had to clean up a mess was him overly killing a demon. The few others seemed to be obsessed with blood lusts, so Aurde was on his guard all the moment they walked, but at the same time, hiding that fact.

Kyo smiled as the woman told him that she was Eithne. "That's an interesting name, Eithne..." He listened in on what her abilities were, and was intrigued. "So you can control the flames?"

Just then, he heard the strange woman- the other one with the mechanical device for an ear- explain what she had. Kyo was... to say the least, confused on what she just said. "Excuse me... Misa was it? What did you just say?" Kyo was unfortunately hopeless with advanced technology. The simple uses of complex devices, he can manage. However, Kyo can never understand the insides and out of the sadi device, not for his life.

Kyo understood the demon part, but not the biochemic skull part. He shrugged and said "Alright... Just wondering."

Suddenly, a loud howl came from down the tunnel, and loud steps can be heard. "What the...?" Kyo muttered. His eyes widened at the sound, and he immediately got out his katana again. Suddenly, a dark, large figure-no, three- ran from the tunnel and charged straight at the group. "Hellhounds!" Kyo muttered. He swung his sword back as a wind up for a powerful slash, and barely missed on of the hellhounds.
