Things seem to have gone from strange to phenomenally bizarre in the space of a few days. For Spencer, this change had begun the moment he found himself face to face with the odd group before him. Each baring their own stories, but all connected by the sightings of the peculiar man without a face; Slenderman, was the name his research had found. Spencer could care less about a name, as long as the demon didn't manifest. His fear could almost be palpable, if he were not so schooled in the art of deception. He looks upon the faces of the others, faced by two woman -
very pretty woman - and a man.He doesn't quite remember but he thinks there is supposed to be a fifth in their grouping.
"This is how I found out about you all, I didn't know what it meant at first, so I took a guess and tried to find you all. Luckily I caught up with you and here you are, now I'm going to take a guess and say you all know what this is about. You all know me as Alex, I'm in the same race as you guys and I figure if we want to get out alive we stick together. If you feel like this isn't for you, please feel free to leave, I'm not holding anyone here forcefully." Spencer's eyes flicker to Alex. Of course he knew the reason they were all there together, and though it isn't his style to mingle with people he doesn't quite know he still understands the need to be faced with a familiarity - people who are having the exact same problem as he is definitely fits the bill.
"Now I truly believe we can fight this thing and win. I just need to know that we can work together, safety in numbers right?""Fight it? Spencer tries to hold back his incredulous laugh, but fails in the end.
"Has that worked out well for anyone else?" But he can't help the realization that they indeed need to stick together. If there's a chance at all they will have to fight it together. As much as Spencer is Loathe to admit he needs help he also doesn't want to die, or disappear.
"But fine, Ill work with the group. It's better than waiting for something else to happen." There's now telling if they'll get out of this mess alive, but Spencer is damn well ready to try. Though he isn't sure on trusting the others. Alex himself seems ok, maybe a little bit of a nutcase, but he hasn't done anything so far to set off any red flags. The ladies haven't spoken yet but Spencer sure wouldn't mind getting to know either of them on a more 'personal' level. Maybe this will actually work.
'Or maybe everybody here is getting their hopes up for nothing.' he thinks to himself, while waiting for the others to put forth their piece.
