D E M E A N O R

h e i g h t x // x5'11

w e i g h t x // x130 lbs

h a i r x // xLight blonde/nearly white hair. The classic Wilson hair trait. Kezia has her hair cut just below her chest with lots of layers to add movement to her straight hair.

e y e s x // xTwo large pools of crystal blue to match her brother. On some occasions they can seem almost grey or green if the light hits them just right.

o d d i t i e s x // xKezia's healing factor keeps her from having any scars left over from her days with the League. She also has no tattoos but does have a few piercings. She has her ears, tongue, and belly button pierced. She doesn't have any other physical oddities but she does have a few quirks in her mannerism like how her and her brother consistently switch around talking in various languages with each other.

a p p e a r a n c e x // xRoman and Kezia look more like supermodels than assassins when they walk into a room. Both are tall and slender with sultry expressions like they're ready to walk down the runway. Kezia stands shorter and noticeably thinner of the two. This only makes it even more surprising that she's the strongest of the two. While she bares the signature Wilson white locks and blue eyes, she hardly cares for her appearance the way that Roman does. She simply wakes up and does nothing but brush her teach and throw on clothes as a courtesy to those around her. Sure she'll dress up when Roman forces her to but for the most part she likes to dress boho style. She runs around barefoot(though she'll wear combat boots when she gets yelled at to put on shoes) dawning high waisted shorts, a bralette, kimono, and flower crown almost every day. She's also known to carry all of her knives out in the open strapped to her waist and thighs. She clearly looks like a girl who doesn't have a single fuck to give when it comes to her appearance. She dresses how she wants and likes and no one can change that.

P O W E R S

e n h a n c e d x m i n d x // x The same metagene her mother and grandfather posses. Kezia has what can be referred to as an 'unlocked mind'. Her mind is greatly enhanced in mental capacity, which allows her to access her brain functions on a celluar level, granting her enhanced physical and mental attributes.
e n h a n c e d x c o n d i t i o n x // x Kezia's entire physical condition is enhanced to super soldier levels. In comparison to her brother, she's surprisingly more physically capable than him while he is more skilled mentally.
a c c e l e r a t e d x p r o b a b i l i t y x // x Thanks to her unlocked mind, Kezia is able to process her surroundings at an alarmingly fast rate. She's able to quickly take in information and assess an outcome making her ability essentially like having precognitive powers.
a d o p t i v e x m u s c l e x m e m o r y x // x Kezia is able to watch something and copy the movements perfectly making her a master combatant.
p s y c h i c x s h i e l d x // x Fun little side effect of her abilities. Kezia's mind is impenetrable to intrusion or forms of possession because of the way she processes information so rapidly around her. It creates a little firewall to her brain that can often times cause a great deal of pain to those trying to get in.
a c c e l e r a t e d x h e a l i n g x // x Ah, the ability Deathstroke and Ravager are most known for. Both siblings basically heal and regenerate at a rapid rate just like their predecessors.

P R O F I C I E N C I E S

g e n i u s x i n t e l l e c t x // x Not at all the same way that her brother is, but Kezia is a genius in her own right. Her abilities make her a genius killing machine. She's able to quickly master martial arts, various close quarter weaponry, and recall them with ease. She's not exactly PHD smart but she's a prodigy when it comes to combat.
p h y s i c a l x p r o w e s s x // x Another perk of her abilities is she's highly physically capable. She's the brawn to Roman's brains.
m a s t e r x a s s a s s i n x // x She's the prized prodigy of the Wilson family and League of Assassins in this regard.
m u l t i l i n g u a l x // x Her and her brother can speak Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Polish, and German.

W E A K N E S S E S

p s y c h o t i c x // x Kezia is practically a psychopath. She's the girl who will pick flowers for you and give a warm laugh to everything but will also do the same while cutting your throat. She's not all there.
r o m a n x // x Though not in the sense that she would do anything for him. He actually holds her back and tries to tame her reckless behavior but in a way she needs him since he's the only one that completely understands her quirks and all.
r e m o r s e x // x Kezia simply doesn't understand remorse and why she should feel it when she takes anyone's life. Most negative emotions baffle her.
r e c k l e s s x // x Kezia is a little fire cracker of crazy. She process information and reacts to it but she doesn't plan anything. She just does whatever she feels like doing and doesn't care what the consequences are because she wanted to do it.

F E A R S

f a i l u r e x // x Kezia is simply not used to failing and has memories of the consequences from if she ever did slip up.
f e e l i n g x r e m o r se x // x She's never felt or understood what it's like and she doesn't even know how she'd react.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
xxxxxxxxxxxxβ€’ x sweet x β€’ x childish x β€’ x impulsive x β€’ x crazy x β€’

Sweet, sweet little Kizzy. No one would ever believe someone who seems so loving and innocent could ever be a blood thirsty killer... Until Kezia slices their throats and draws flowers, hearts, and unicorns with their blood. No, really that actually happened. A lot. Like all the time. Kezia truly is the sweetest person you'll ever meet though. She's kind towards everyone she meets and has a contagious childish laughter an aura about her. She's the girl who spends her time picking out the perfect flowers to give out to everyone she interacts with while she wears her own flower crown and skips down the hallway giggling like a five year old. Just remember that she's also a highly trained assassin that can sometimes make The Joker seem sane.

Kezia very much has a childlike innocence about her. Her mannerisms and sweet demeanor often make her come off as even younger than she already is compared to the other descendants. She's also very innocent in the sense of not understanding what negative emotions actually are. She has never been one to get angry nor does she understand why other people cry. Kezia is completely lost when it comes to comforting others often lacking in her social interactions apart from generally being someone hard to get mad at when she isn't out murdering whomever she pleases. It just doesn't click in her brain hence why she's never felt any remorse with what she does or see what's so wrong about it except that her brother isn't the biggest fan of what they do.

Of course not understanding what true human emotions are aren't the only personality flaws that Kezia possesses. She's incredibly impulsive though this seems to go hand in hand with her childish antics. She never really thinks before she acts. Everything she does is a reaction to what's going on around her or it's whatever the hell she feels like doing. Roman is the one who plans everything meticulously while Kezia comes crashing in aborting any plans because she simply doesn't like to follow the rules. She marches to the beat of her own drum and does whatever the hell she wants when she wants.

Now it's very clear that Kezia is not sane by any means. She's basically a sociopath. A five year old sociopath in the body a grown young woman but still very much not sane. She's the girl who laughs while getting tortured, finger paints with people's blood, and has no clue what feelings even mean. She doesn't know what proper human interaction is because all she's ever known is the life of being an assassin. She's a killer but she's still a human being that's never had the pleasure of experiencing what it means to fall in love, have true fear, cry, get angry, or feel remorse. It was taken away from her a long time ago and she may never get it back.

H I S T O R Y

The story of the Black Twins all starts with their Grandfather, Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke. Slade had been forced to broker a deal with the head of the League of Assassins, Ra's Al Ghul, and was forced to declare his allegiance to The League. He never expected he was also forcing the hand of his children and his children's children. His daughter, Rose Wilson, was fortunate enough to cut her own deal of freedom. Of course all things do have a catch. Rose could leave The League so long as she married a man of Ra's choosing and they have children whom he would take under his wing. Rose saw no better option and agreed.

Rose soon married Alexei Black, a top and very much loyal assassin to Ra's. It wasn't too long after that Rose gave birth to twins, Roman and Kezia. The twins had been taken away with Rose only having the chance to hold Roman for a moment in her arms for Ra's to raise them as his perfect super powered assassins. They would see their mother on occasions though Kezia was always disinterested. When she would leave, training would start again. Their life was hard. Though the two seemed to have experienced it very differently.

Their training seemed to have began once they were able to walk and talk with ease. The toddler's would spare and study together. They would be woken up at the brink of dawn to play a rather dangerous game of tag involving throwing knives. Whoever got hit with the knife was it. They'd take a break to eat followed by scaling the building in a race to the top. Kezia always one. They'd then be granted nap time and would end the day studying and taking tests of their knowledge. Roman always aced with flying colors. The older they grew, the more apparent their skill differences became.

Kezia was the prodigal child. She could best any opponent within the League with ease. Roman was never able to get the upper hand on her especially considering the way her powers developed overtime. She knew every move Roman was going to make and the fights would soon be over before they began. Roman was simply no physical match. She also developed into a stone cold killer. She enjoyed slicing away at people's necks but was difficult to control an didn't listen to any orders. Ra's sough to change that. He couldn't have disloyal assassins that possessed the famous Wilson powers.

Ra's had both siblings locked away in separate rooms during their preteen years. He sought to beat them into submission. It didn't take long for Roman to finally submit. Though Kezia proved to be more difficult. They even say her torturer's once ran out of her cell in fear while all you could hear was Kezia's laughter. Nothing they tried would work on her until one day they had their father, Alexei, put them both inside of the same cell. Kezia was never tortured but Roman certainly was.

Over and over again Alexei would heat up a metal rod and press it against Roman's flesh just as it began to heal. This went on for too long to count until Kezia finally caved to her brother's begging. They were finally released and would spend years on missions taking out targets and engaging in diplomacy for The League. Though every so often Kezia would fall off the track and the torture would begin again. Rose finally caught word and decided to make a deal with a man her father despised, Bruce Wayne. She's having the twins sent to The Descendants Academy in hopes to keep her children safe from the clutches of The League. Though they may have plans of their own...

The last couple of days had been quite long for the Black twins. Though to Roman, it didn't feel as long as it did when his mother and grandfather spoke with the Al Ghuls. How they managed to convince them that them coming to Descents Academy was still lost on him. Yet somehow whatever they promised worked. Now here they were on their way to a place that probably wouldn't care for them. At least, if their name followed them then they wouldn't.

Of course Ra's had made sure they received the best transportation. It had to be befitting of his most successful creations. They'd first taken a private jet. Though now they were traveling via limousine with members of The League following behind with their personal items. Their father followed in one of the cars. Rose had been insistent on him not joining them. Not at all surprising consider their disdain for each other after he'd been the one to torture her children. Her children. Whom she was choosing now to keep safe after all these years. Better late than never.

Roman sat beside his mother in silence. They'd already run through enough topics not warrant anymore conversation. So now he simply sat their poised looking across at his twin sister, Kezia, who laid sprawled over the seat with crayons in hand. She'd spent most of the trip being a bit of a nuisance. Talking off everyone's ear about anything and everything that seemed to get her excited. It lasted until she began begging for a coloring book that had a unicorn plastered across its cover. Slade Wilson, who could never deny his favorite grandchild, quickly caved and bought it for her with a box of crayons. Just like that, the world's most notorious killer was rendered helpless by the will of a little girl.

One good thing did come of that purchase: Kezia was mostly silent during the rest of the trip. All of her attention was panned towards creating the perfect color schemes while burning through the cassettes in her Walkman. Another gift from Slade. Most of her possessions were either gifts from Slade, Ra's, Talia, or their father. She seemed to have a certain knack for getting grown men and women to cater to her childish desires.

Roman couldn't contain the smile that crept onto him as he watched his sister in silence. She was muttering along to her song. Every so often she'd take a break from her masterpiece to play air drums or guitar. In those moments, Roman would let out a soft chuckle. He couldn't help himself from enjoying moments like this. Kezia may be a borderline psychopathic killer... But you would never guess it upon first glance. She simply didn't understand things the way that he did and who could really blame her? They went through a lot. They just happened to deal with it in very different ways. Roman just happened to choose to grow up and be in touch with his emotions while Kezia chose another path. An easier path. He may not agree with this or her thirst for blood, but he loves her dearly. Especially in simple moments like this. No contracts, diplomatic events, or 'training'. Just simple semi-normal family moments to be shared between brother and sister.

Kezia suddenly perked up to a seated position. She clapped her hands and giggled with excitement before ripping the page out of her book. She practically hurled herself over to Roman to show him what she did. She couldn't stop bouncing in the seat while Roman looked over what she accomplished. He was shocked. Kezia someone managed to color within the lines in a moving limo and all of her combinations even followed color theory. When did she even learn to do that?

"Misha, tell me what you think. Is it pretty?" She asked him in Russian.

"It's beautiful, Sashenka."

"Can we hang it up in our new room?" Kezia's head tilted to the side like a puppy discovering a new sound. The same gesture Kezia used to get whatever she wanted.

"Of course! All works of art deserved to be hung up for all to see. Though that means we may also have to hang you up." He nudged her with his shoulder and she responded with another one of her childish laughter's as she clapped her hands together.

Rose Wilson was not as amused. "In English you two. We're here."

The atmosphere quickly changed as Roman quieted back down. They pulled up to the front of the building and piled out. Kezia immediately took off the second the door opened. She ran straight towards the various flowers decorating the outside. She picked several different flowers that totaled up to the exact number of students she was told attended. It was gonna be her little greeting present for everyone. She was very excited for the chance to get to pass them out and meet everyone. She was certain she would make tons of wonderful friends here and maybe even find new sparring partners.

Roman was the one to call back her attention as they followed their family inside. A staff member to the academy greeted them and lead them into the office of Bruce Wayne. Rose, Slade, and Roman took a seat. Kezia decided now was the time to dance around the room and explore everything she could get her hands on. Bruce, thankfully, ignored this as he addressed them. The conversation went on for awhile though the details aren't exactly important save for Rose nearly making her way over Bruce's death once he informed her of the events that took part at last night's gala.

Kezia didn't really pay attention until the name of Cassius Thompson was brought up as one of the students captured. She was surprised he managed to get taken with his powers. Nevertheless, she was sure to be seeing him soon even if that meant having to rescue the damsel in distress. After all, they did share a history and were rather good friends now despite Roman not exactly being his biggest fan. She wasn't going to stand for him not accompanying her here.

The twins were soon let out into the hallway. Bruce informed them that he first needed to meet with another student who was going to show them around. Kezia didn't listen to anything he had to say though as she took off yet again. She came barreling down the hallway just as a giant mass of muscle turned the corner. She leaped into the air and wrapped her arms and legs around his body in a tight embrace. "Uncle B! I've missed you!" It was Nathaniel Santos. A family friend and former student of The League.

The sound of the sink flowed through the back of Nathaniel's mind as gripped each edge. He still wasn't up to full strength after the doses of anti-venom he'd been hit with. How were they even able to get his formula? Did they break into his room? Find a sample and replicate it? How did they know everyone's weakness?

His mind continued to race with more and more questions as he stared himself down in the mirror. A change of clothes laid beside him. A nurse handed them to him on his way out so he could change out of his suit drenched in Hydra blood. There was still blood on his face and hands. They must not have had time to wash it off while they were patching up all the students.

Time...

"I'll help you, Nathaniel," Tobias's words echoed through his mind. "And I'm sure everyone else wants revenge too. But, we need to heal first or we'll be useless and our friends will die." Him and Tobias weren't exactly friends but it seemed he was the only one in that moment that knew exactly how to settle Nathaniel for a short while. Maybe it was because of their understanding of what it's like to be seen by the actions of their father. Maybe it was as simple as neither of them being particular fans of social interactions. Whatever it was. His support and comfort was the only thing keeping Nathaniel somewhat in check.

He cupped his hands together and began to wash the blood off of his face. He moved slowly given the injuries he took once he removed most of his clothing. His jaw was bruised, various bruises across his body, and maybe a few broken ribs. His body needed time to heal as well. It'd be another day or two before he was up to his usually self. But unlike Tobias and the others, Nathaniel made a promise. "I will find you, Francita. I promise." He was going to keep it too.

Nathaniel was finally dressed and made his way down the hall. Why he was the one being called to Bruce's office was beyond him. Though really he should have been paying more attention towards the rushing figure that nearly tackled him to the ground. Oh, no... A familiar smell of flowers and white hair was clutching onto him like a spider monkey. "Uncle B! I've missed you!"

They were here. Why now wasn't exactly important as Nathaniel embraced the only person allowed to call him Bane. Kezia Black, daughter of Rose Wilson, granddaughter of Slade Wilson, twin sister to Roman Black, and allegiance to The League of Assassins where they first met. Nathaniel had been her sparring partner. Though punching bag seemed to be a more accurate term given her abilities. The two still grew close over their years together. It seemed to the point of Kezia consistently referring to him as uncle. He actually didn't mind it so much. He wasn't exactly a fan of her 'hobbies' but he couldn't bring himself to hold it against. Something about her just seemed so innocent to everything she was a part of.

Nathaniel practically had to pry her off of him in order to meet with Bruce in his office alone. What was discussed remains, for now, private. Once they stepped out, he was asked to escort the two down to the infirmary to meet the other students. This was surely going to be interesting to watch.

Kezia could hardly contain her own excitement over meeting the other students. She kept skipping down ahead of Nathaniel and Roman only to return gushing over how amazing it was going to be. "I'm gonna have all new sparring partners and maybe this time they won't break so easily!" She skipped away again adding in a twirl for a little flare. She returned yet again to inquire the boys over what it might be like. "Do you think they'll like the flowers? I wonder if they'll like my knife collection. Maybe we can even compare. I bet they'll love the flowers because I picked them out all by myself to make them feel better." She couldn't help but giggle as she skipped away again.

Despite whatever was troubling Roman, this was an amazing opportunity for her. She couldn't wait for the chance to make all new friends and have a great time at this school. It certainly would beat having to spar humans all day or listen to Roman complain about her methods. Maybe she'll even find someone who likes her methods like her friend Lilith. Lilith always encouraged her antics. Even Nathaniel accepted what made her different form everyone else.

The truth was, Kezia found it hard to keep friends. Making them was the simple part. She was an easily likable person. It was once people noticed her inability to cater to emotional needs that she lost them. It also didn't help that many people were not a fan of her enjoyment of assassination missions. She just couldn't help who she was and didn't even know how to change. Though it did help to have people like Cas, Lilith, and Nathaniel around. After all, they still stick around.

Once they arrived at the infirmary, Kezia was quick to make her rounds to every student in a bed. She handed them each a flower with a childish grin plaster across her face as she repeated the same line, "Hi, I'm Kizzy! This is for you!"

It took all restraint for Roman not to yell at his sister to settle down as they made their way through the halls. He understood her behavior but that didn't mean he condoned it. After all, he was looking to make a good impression on the group with all things considered. So it was only natural for him to worry the entire trip there over how he'd be able to do such a task.

Unlike Kezia, Roman didn't falter so heavily in the friend department. It came natural for him to draw people in and keep them there. Though he was quite picky with whom he chose to keep around. He simply didn't desire to force anyone to put up with the lifestyle he had no choosing in. This was why he chose to keep his friend group rather select. There was less damage control this way. And even less chances of him getting hurt emotionally by what Ra's may do to those he cares about if he ever falls out of line again.

It seemed as if ages had passed before they arrived in the infirmary. Of course Kezia wasted no time in thrusting herself as the center of attention. She went around introducing herself to each student while Roman screamed internally. He kept himself composed while he pitched in his own proper introduction, "Hello, my name is Roman Black and this is my sister, Kezia..."

"But you can call me Kizzy!"

"I understand this may seem a bit odd considering recent events but we are the two newest students to your academy. We wanted to extend our apologizes over what had unfolded last night and would like to offer our hand in anything you may need. We hope you can welcome us in so we can assist you in returning your fellow teammates."

Yes, it was a bit formal but it was all he could come up with. After all, it was the truth. Roman wanted to help. Though he specifically wanted to make sure Lilith was back safe form wherever she'd been taken.

Frankie sat there silent and in shock. It seemed that Wren was one of the more calm out of the group in the cell. She wondered if the fiery redhead decided to sacrifice herself because of her healing factor or because of the new guy. He seemed less than thrilled at the sight of her being dragged away. It probably was a combination of both the man and her abilities. Frankie could only hope that Wren knew what she was doing.

She didn't know what to expect in the time they sat around waiting. Waiting for death, torture... For Wren to be brought back to them. Would she be brought back? Or would Hydra find someway to get what they want from her and kill her. Frankie never thought of Wren as the type of person to break or spill the beans. Killing her would be next to impossible, but then again Hydra seemed to have done their homework. Could they kill her?

The thought unsettled her as she shifted where she sat, tugging half-heartedly at her restraints. Frankie's gaze fell to the man Wren saved, his eyes wide like a deer in headlights. Kilgrave, they called him. Where had she heard that name before? Something to do with Jensen and her mother, if she remembered correctly. Something about that seemed a bit fishy in her opinion. Some guy Frankie had never met is here with them in the cell. What if he was a plant?

"Well, at least we know that one guard has quite the temper and is easily provoked," Caitria said, breaking the silence. Her tone was dry, but it seemed like she was trying to find anything that could be useful. Even if they were grasping at straws. "Guess that's a good thing to be aware of; emotionally manipulating someone can prove to be a powerful tactic." It was a good point. But when it came to people with tempers, no one could piss someone off faster than Wren.

Her attention was drawn to Lilith who, once again, tugged at her restraints. β€œAll us metas and no one can break the restraints!”

Frankie tilted her head back looking up at the restraints around her own wrists. Her brows furrowed as she tried to twist them to look for any sort of makers mark. She then looked around at all the other's bindings, trying to find some sort of answer. It was a silvery metal, but more like nickel or steel rather than actual silver or chrome. Dots started to slowly connect as she ran through the possibilities in her mind. Frankie slowly moved her right arm, pulling it as far away from the wall as possible before the chain halted her. Then with every ounce of strength in her, she slammed the cuff back against the hook in the wall of the same metal.

Her gaze shifted up to the cuff, and there wasn't a single dent or scratch in the metal... Even when she used strength well beyond that of a human. "I think these are made out of vibranium," Frankie said out loud more toward herself than the others. She sighed, letting her body fall back against the wall in defeat. "If that is the case, then we're not getting out of these without a key." She probably should have kept that to herself, hopelessness wasn't the answer. But also beating themselves up, or wearing themselves out wouldn't help either.

Ross smiled, as much as he could manage, when he was able to make Jensen chuckle. "Better be at least three heads. That girl's got more fight in her big toe than any of you in this room combined." He chuckled slightly, nodding his head. It was definitely true. Then she changed tones. Ross didn't mind her sarcasm but he could understand her need to tone it down, given the circumstances. "I know she's probably fine. I'm just terrified for her right now," she said quietly.

He propped himself up on his elbows with a discomforting grunt. His lips parted, encouraging words about to escape before cue ball walked in. Of course, anything and everything the fucker said put Ross on edge. He was talking as if they failed a simulation or training exercise... Not that they were attacked, some nearly killed and the others kidnapped. It didn't take long for what little self control he had left to boil over. Ross was already on edge from his wounds, and... then Petra. Mycroft was not what he needed right now. "Are ya fuckin' mad?! We're half dead 'n half of us are gone!"

Before he could say anything else, or get up the effort to stand up and confront the bastard, he felt Jensen's hand on his arm. "That's not going to bring them back, as admirable as your fire is." Ross clenched his jaw while his body tensed, his gaze unflinching from Mycroft as he rattled on. His anger was fighting to get out and he needed a release. He groaned as his left hand slammed into his IV. It sent the stand falling over, ripping the needle from his hand and caused the bags to burst when they hit the floor.

In the blink of an eye a nurse was at his side, frantically trying to check his hand and clean up the mess. Ross just held his hand up and she froze. "Just go help someone who actually needs it." She waited a moment and even attempted to try and help again. But, when he made eye contact with her showing that he wasn't kidding, the nurse finally gave up and moved on to a different descendant.

Once she was finally gone, Ross relaxed, leaning back in the bed once again. He felt a shift in the bed as Jensen turned to look at him. "So... how's your girlfriend?" She then nodded toward Petra like he needed clarification as to what she meant.

"She's not me girlβ€”" Ross sighed, not even finishing the statement. It wasn't worth arguing over, he didn't have the energy. "She's fine," he replied with an aggravated tone. He went to cross his arms over his chest but winced when he put pressure on his broken ribs. Ross sighed, slowly looking over at the red head across the room. After a moment, he let his gaze fall to his lap, taking a moment before he responded. "She's mad at meh."

Before Ross could go into any details, or explain what had happened to himself and Petra the night before, there was another interruption in the med wing. He propped himself up slightly, as he watched as white headed twins entered the wing. Who in the hell were they? The girl seemed overly excited and bubbly, handing out... [/i]flowers?[/i] Seriously. Did she not know what had just happened to all of them. Instead of saying something, or doing... Anything, he sat there dumbfounded as he watched her make her way from person to person until she stopped before himself and Jensen.

"Hi, I'm Kizzy! This is for you!"

Ross looked between the blonde before him and Jensen, then back to the girl. His mouth was wide open in shock. "Eh what?"

Then the other one decided to step forward and make his presence known... In a slightly more formal way. "Hello, my name is Roman Black and this is my sister, Kezia..."

He groaned as he sat up and looked over at Jensen. He was feeling cooped up and suffocated in the medical wing, especially with the new addition of these... odd students. He wanted to leave, and god damn any nurse that tried to stop him. "Wanna go get drunk? Aye need me a fuckin' drink." Ross gave a mischievous grin that probably looked borderline sadistic with his face half purple and blue. He was going to live, that was enough. He saw no reason to linger in the medical wing where he was being watched like a hawk. What he needed... And probably half of the people in the room needed, was a damn drink.

Tobias' first comment toward Wynne definitely wasn't the most intelligent one. But it made her laugh, he guessed that counted for something, right? He didn't intend for her to laugh. Honestly, he couldn't recall a time where he ever made anyone laugh. But he had to start somewhere he supposed. "You did, but there was a lot flying around." True. He hadn't really thought about that. Tobias thought he was able to stop most of it, and his metal shield stopped the rest, but he was by no means perfect. At least no one died, that's all that mattered... For now.

After the abrupt arrival of Nathaniel, and then the less than friendly speech by Mycroft, he left while Coulson and Alfred stayed around to help them. At least two of the three mentors seemed to have a conscious and care about what happened, regardless of what Mycroft thought. In Tobias' opinion they did the best they could, given the circumstances. After all, it was Mycroft who had everyone leave their weapons back in their rooms. He couldn't help but imagine how the tables would have been turned if Wren and Thaleia could of had their guns, or Riley his bow.

His thoughts quickly came to a halt when Wynne turned toward him and began to speak. "I just wanted to..."

Before Wynne could continue Petra joined them, taking up a chair beside his bed and kicking off her heels. "Hey. How are you feeling? I'm sorry I disappeared. I was - preoccupied elsewhere."

Tobias glanced over toward Wynne slightly, wishing she would have finished whatever she was going to say. But then looked back to Petra, giving a slight shrug of his shoulder. "I'm alive. But, where were you?" He didn't want to linger on what happened to him. Coulson already said more than he would have liked. Tobias didn't come to the school to be seen as a hero, and he didn't want to be hailed as one above the others. They all were in the same boat, they all did what they could. Saving Thaddeus Ross was within his power, so he did it. Simple.

He could connect some of the dots, considering the way Ross flipped out and left the room when he mentioned Petra. Tobias could probably guess what happened, but he'd prefer it if she told him herself. At least she seemed uninjured, and he could only assume that Ross had something to do with that. But, it seemed as though the day was going to be full of surprises and interruptions. Maybe at some point he'd be able to finish a single conversation.

A new pair of students, apparently, were joining the school. Tobias had absolutely no idea how he felt about it. He sat there stiff and silent in his bed, watching as the one went around the room and the other made some sort of formal greeting. Hell of a time to join the academy. Something inside him said that seemed fishy, but he'd rather investigate that on his own rather than question them in the open. His brows furrowed when the girl known as Kizzy stopped beside his bed, passing out flowers to the three of them and introduced herself.

Tobias nodded his head, not really knowing what else to do. After she was gone, his gaze fell to the flower in his hand. He sat up in his bed, reaching out the flower toward Wynne. He carefully slid it behind her ear, the side of his mouth tugged upward in a slight smile. Tobias had no need for a flower. What would he do with it anyway? Wynne had wings, a flower suited her and he wasn't in the mood to be totally rude toward the new girl by throwing it away. He sighed, laying back in the bed looking between the two women that were his company. "I'll be alright. You both can go help with the search effort, if you want," he commented toward the two of them. "Or check on others," he added, this time in particular to Petra.

He'd have to be blind to not notices something going on between Petra and Ross. Whatever the man did it had her seeming... off. Even though Tobias' would was potentially fatal, he didn't look nearly as bad as Ross. He'd heal, so if she needed to talk to someone else, she didn't need to stay around his bedside. It was new territory having people worried about his own well being for a change. He didn't quite know how to handle it.

Whatever had happened, whatever was happening at the Academy was enough to send an alert out to the Arrowcave. Gwen couldn't even imagine what would have had to happen for an alert to be sent out. She'd always thought the Academy was inpenetrable, but apparently someone managed to penetrate it and on the night of the Gala to. Thankfully, her father had snatched a Javelin-7 from the Watchtower and used it for long distance missions or if he ever had to visit the Watchtower, so she stole it and instructed the autopilot to take her to the Academy.

On a commercial airline or in her father's private jet, it may have taken her five to six hours to get back to Connecticut, but in the Javelin-7 she made it there in just two hours. On her approach, she could see the large hole in the side of the building. "Get to a height I can drop from and return to the Arrowcave." She instructed the autopilot, whilst cringing at the word Arrowcave, her father wasn't very original or creative and it just sounded wrong anyway.

After exiting the aircraft, Gwen ran for the main entrance of the Academy, she spotted several people in gowns in several different states of shock or being attended to by the Academy's medical staff. She spotted two guards near the entrance and dashed up to them.
"What happened?" She barked at them, out of worry instead of anger.
"There was an attack during the Gala, Hydra assaulted the event and took a few of the students." The guard's debrief was brief and blunt, and Gwen just stood with her eyes wide and her mouth slightly agape, she blinked as her eyes slowly looked everywhere bar at the guard, her mind was racing with who could have been taken. A short time passed before the guard brought her attention back to the moment. "Ma'am?"
Gwen just blinked up at him before shaking herself out of her daze and rushing to the ballroom, hopefully, there were still people there.

Upon entering the ballroom, she could see the true extent of the damage, a hole in the wall, debris and blood everywhere, a few limbs remained near a sizeable amount of debris. Gwen swallowed hard in an attempt to keep herself from wretching, it was then someone noticed her standing by the door. "Ma'am, you're not allowed in here."
"Trust me, I'm leaving. Is everyone in the Infirmary?"
"Everyone that's left, ma'am." Gwen didn't even have a response to that, the staff must have been pretty shaken up if that was how they were responding.

Gwen ran directly to the infirmary, opting for the stairs instead of the lift, she couldn't stand still worrying about her friends like this. She arrived just in time for Mycroft to list of those who were taken,
"Wren Wilson, Alec Constantine, Petra Maxβ€”" Gwen narrowed her eyes at him, she could see the redhead from where she stood. "Lilith Isley, Ulrich Zod, Caitria Allen, Francis Parker and Cassius Thompson were all taken hostage last night like it was nothing. If you all would have fought as a team like we've been trying to tell you for years now... None of this would have happened. Hydra would have been stopped before they laid a hand on anyone." Gwen clenched her fist, her friends were kidnapped after failings by his security team and he had the audacity to blame the students, she could feel herself getting angry, and she'd happily let herself scream in his ear if it didn't risk everyone else. Luckily, Phil interjected before Mycroft could say any more.
"Mycroft, they were unarmed and unprepared. They fought admirably, all things considered." As Phil interrupted Mycroft, Gwen looked around for her remaining friends.

Ross was with Jensen and two people she'd never seen before, whilst Andrew was with Riley. She spotted Ross getting up and announcing he needed a drink. She weaved her way through the infirmary to him. "With wounds like them, Rossy, you might not want to thin your old blood." She teased him, before nodding to Jensen and looking at the pair with them. "Hey, Jensen, and you two?" She pointed at the two in sort of drumming motion, a bit like finger guns but without the thumb extended. "Are you guys okay?" She asked, her tone more serious than most were used to her being.

ImageFar from her usual observant self, Petra hardly noticed what she'd interrupted. She spared Wynne a glance, noting her injuries. So their mole hadn't stood by while the rest were attacked.

"Ross's mirror dimension," she turned back to Tobias, letting the tone of bitterness in her thoughts bleed through into her speech. "I only wish I could have done more... At the very least, I could have sucked the gas out of the room and given everyone a better fighting chance. But Ross saw them targeting me and - well, he just acted, I suppose."

She shifted in her chair, turning more towards the other boy. "But, what you did for Thaddeus Ross... your mom would be proud of you. I know that."

Anything else she was going to say was cut off by the arrival of a couple of people, one skipping around, the other seeming to understand a little better the decorum expected of one in an infirmary.

"Hi, I'm Kizzy!"

Petra accepted the flower thrust at her without complaint, although her expression made it clear she was distinctly unimpressed. "Thanks." In her hands, lined and roughened by her violent childhood, the flower seemed pathetic and out of place. Uncertain what to do with it, she let her hands fall into her lap again, shielding the flower from view, turning to follow the newcomers with her eyes as Tobias did... whatever he was doing with Wynne. Petra had not known him to be particularly fond of being openly kind, but maybe this was a start.

"I'll be alright. You both can go help with the search effort, if you want. Or check on others." Tobias's voice called her attention back, and Petra tore her eyes away from the two white-blonde heads to meet his gaze again.

"I'm not exactly Miss Congeniality here," she pointed out. "But I'll let you heal in peace. Rest up." So saying, she reached out to touch his shoulder gently. "You too," she directed at Wynne. "I hope you're both feeling better soon." Pushing her chair back, she rose, leaving the infirmary. No one stopped her to ask where she was headed, so instead of seeking out further company, she headed for the lift, intending to go back to her flat and collapse into bed. Maybe take a hot shower. Everything was suddenly so exhausting.

ImageIt took some amount of effort to squash down all the emotions threatening to spill over - this wasn't like having an anxiety attack, not when it was someone else's life at stake - but Andrew's comforting presence helped. Riley focused on his light touch, warmth radiating through the thin fabric of his shirt, and after a minute felt more confident in his emotional stability.

"I mean, considering all that's happened, I can't possible say that I feel great. But for the situation, I'm doing pretty well." Riley could hear the bitter undertone in Andrew's voice. He smiled, a sardonic twist marring it. "For the situation," he repeated to himself. And what a situation it was. Training had always been about what if you're on enemy territory, what if you have to protect someone. It had never asked what if the enemy was on home territory and they had failed to protect those dear to them.

"So, uh, who else was taken?"

The names came like clockwork to Riley. Every name a reminder of how they'd failed in their duty, not just to protect the people but to protect themselves. "Wren, Caitria, Lilith, Ulrich, Constantine, and... some guy named Cassius?" He shrugged. "With the number of students joining us, I can't really say I'm surprised to hear an unfamiliar name." He glanced over his shoulder at the two currently making their rounds around the room. "I don't suppose you know who they are...?"

The pair reached them soon enough, and the girl held out flowers to both of them. "Welcome to the Academy," Riley greeted them. As soon as they moved on he placed his flower on Andrew's bedside stand. "For you. Could spruce up your place."

As he set it down he glanced over at Andrew, noting with a pang of guilt how tired the other man looked. He'd just regained consciousness, and instead of letting him rest Riley was jabbering away about his own concerns - so incredibly selfish, as usual, Barton.

He stood abruptly, eager to prevent any further mistakes of the same sort. "I'm, uh. I'm sorry, I'm going to let you rest now. You probably really need it," he blurted. Reaching over to pat Andrew's shoulder, he turned away, heading back for his own bed, where he could pick up his things and go back to his penthouse where he could freak out in private.

ImageMaximoff's less-than-cursory glance didn't escape Wynne. Funny, how she could see so many of her own qualities in the other girl, yet neither trusted the other, instead choosing to remain wary and assume the worst until proven otherwise. She could be good, if she ever chose to work with me instead of against me, Wynne mused.

Instead of eavesdropping on their conversation, Wynne shifted her attention to the brother and sister. Kezia and Roman Black... she had little information on them. Some, but not enough. Switching her phone on, she typed a quick update email to the U.N., adding a little note at the end requesting for the twins' files. That was the best she could manage for now.

When she looked up, the girl was standing in front of Tobias's chair, beaming at her. Returning the smile (which didn't reach her eyes), Wynne took the flower, twirling it idly in her hands. "Nice to meet you," she murmured as they passed by. Pointless, but a nice gesture all the same, she supposed.

Movement towards her face. She looked up quickly, just as Tobias slid the flower behind her ear. Surprised, she raised a hand, brushing the petals with her fingertips. "Thank you." Another thing to thank him about. She did not expect to find him this willingly heroic, or so gentle - Tobias Lehnsherr was turning out to be a very unexpected character.

"I'll be alright. You both can go help with the search effort, if you want." He lay back, looking between her and Petra. Well, there was no need for Wynne to offer. If not her father, then some other higher-ranking official would have already made clear the U.N.'s stance on the Academy accessing their resources. It wasn't her place to decide. She nodded at Petra as she left, mildly surprised at her comment.

"I'll let you recuperate," she told Tobias. "But before I do... I just wanted to thank you for what you did earlier. I know that you're likely cautious of me and my motives here, and I cannot blame you for it. But I hope we can start again, as classmates instead of people caught on opposite sides of a war, which was never my view. And after today... I owe you my life. I think that's enough reason for me to doubt your reputation, even just a little. I'll see you around." Having said what she wanted to say, she got to her feet, shaking her wings out behind her briefly to unruffle them. She left the infirmary, taking the stairs up as far as they would let her, all the way to the roof.

ImageJensen could read the tension in Ross's body the moment she mentioned Maximoff. With this proximity, how could she not? "She's not me girl -" He cut himself off with a sigh. Jensen had to restrain herself from chuckling. It was rare her readings of relationships were wrong, and this was just another little mark in her list of successes.

"She's fine." Jensen waited. Sometimes the best way to get more from people was to stay silent. Although she had to feel a little bad for him - he was a genuinely nice person, and Jensen wasn't yet entirely certain Maximoff was a girl worth hurting over. "She's mad at meh."

Jensen sighed sympathetically. "That's gotta be hard." Ross didn't respond, however, preoccupied with looking around the infirmary at something. Jensen remained lying down, staring at the ceiling, her hands folded over her stomach.

"Hi, I'm Kizzy! This is for you!"

Jensen raised her head off the pillow a little, looking at the bug-eyed blonde standing by her bed. Ross's expression said exactly what she was thinking, albeit with a little less cursing. "Eh what?"

God, there was no end to the freaks entering this place. She recognised the irony in calling some among their number freaks, but honestly. Some of these people had never grown up around normal folk. The best greeting she could manage was a half-grimace, half-smile, nodding as the boy spoke. "Right. Uh, glad to see you're having fun here." She could hardly keep the disdain out of her voice.

"Wanna go get drunk? Aye need me a fuckin' drink." Jensen let her head drop back onto the pillow, groaning. "And here I thought you were going to sit here blabbering all day, McCulloch. That's the stupidest question you've ever asked me, and I'm pretty sure you say a lot of dumb stuff." She pushed herself upright, ignoring the way her bones creaked. "Absolutely."

Before she could get out of bed, though, another blonde, this one familiar, stepped towards them. "Hey, Jensen, and you two?" Jensen's eyebrows shot up. "Are you guys okay?"

"All sorts of surprises today, but I think I'll survive," she responded. "Didn't expect to see you back here today, Gwen."
