Camelia is a phenomenal cook. She can cook from country comfort food to spicy Japanese rice cakes. She always cooks from scratch and she always uses fresh ingredients. She's become such an amazing cook to the point where she can come up with random recipes off the top of her head with the ingredients she has available. Its quite impressive and her food never disappoints.

Appearance

Description
Camelia is quite a girl. Not knowing who her real family is, it's hard to tell whether she would have fit in appearance wise, but with her adopted family, she definitely stood out. Her red hair and orange eyes were definitely abnormal compared to her adopted parent's brown hair and green eyes. She was always the odd one out in the restaurant and other kids her age would tease her for it. She held her head high though because she enjoyed her uniqueness. Another degrading attribute was her abnormal shortness. Shes nineteen now and she still remains a pipsqueak, but she acts the complete opposite. Unfortunately she was also graced with a flat chest, but she usually tells people she doesn't care about that stuff. Which is untrue because she wishes every day she could have two giant melons she could play with in her free time.

Back to the more important things, Camelia's hair is thin and short. Left down, it usually reaches her shoulders, but almost always she leaves her hair in a tiny adorable pony tail. She also tends to have two yellow orange clips on the right side of her hair. She holds them dear to her and always wears them in an "x" formation. Her orange eyes are big and innocent, and her eyelashes quite long. She usually tends to push forward her everlasting determination through the beauties as well.

The thing that everyone loves about Camelia though, is her amusing facial expressions. The girl is almost like an actress, she over exaggerates every facial expression she can in order to really get her emotions across. Not only that but her rosy cheeks always give her such an adorable look. Not to mention her beautiful smile that could brighten anyone's day. She always gets the most laughs when shes lying because for her, keeping a straight face is nearly impossible. Whenever shes lying she can't help but give the biggest and most guilty grin, which is a good thing because it's caused her to be a more honest person.

Now clothing wise Camelia tends to match with her eye and hair color, wearing mostly oranges, reds and yellows. She enjoys wearing baggy clothing even if it doesn't look that attractive, she just wants to be comfortable. You'll also always catch her in an apron since she spends most of her time in the kitchen.

Caring - Camelia is the sweetest girl you could ever meet. Shes the kind of person that would stay up all night making you your favorite cake just to cheer you up. Which she has indeed done before for her mother. She loves resolving conflicts with people, which tends to make her a little nosy, but a lot of people appreciate the concern she shows. She'll always be there to lend an ear and if you want to be left alone, tell her and she will give you space.

Creative - The girl's also got a creative and adventurous side. She loves coming up with new recipes even if the combination of ingredients are horrendous. Her brain really has a knack for matching too, since everything she comes up with tastes delicious. She's also creative in the terms of problem solving. She always comes up with a solution no matter what the problem is. Put her in a locked room with no windows or doors and leave a toothbrush, she'll find a way out. Even though that's a bit over exaggerated...

Enthusiastic - She can get on peoples nerves at times since shes always smiling. When shes around people she can make any sour situation happy. Her beaming attitude is what makes her cooking so worth it. She flavors her food with all her energy and happiness. Shes the rainbow sprinkles on top of your vanilla ice cream.

Hard Working - Camelia has, from the time she was a baby and learning to crawl, had an unbelievable amount of determination. Whenever she sets her mind to something, it will get done. She's never given up on a challenge, and that's what makes her so admirable. It's also whats led her to be so obedient. Ever since she started to learn how to cook, shes listened to every word someone has to say. Mostly since you have to in the restaurant business, but shes always been determined to please everyone, even if it kills her. It's sometimes scary how much she gives and gives without anything in return. People have tended to take advantage of that, but not her crew, as far as she knows.

Innocent - It's quite sad how oblivious Camelia can be to dirty jokes or observations. She doesn't understand a thing when it comes to love or making... love. Shes never hugged another man than her father, never been in a relationship, and has never kissed another person ever. And shes nineteen... The even more sad part is, is that shes not really used to friends either, so it's not like shes been remotely close to a lovey dovey relationship. It seems that's what makes her so interested in romance. The mysteriousness of it. Shes always observed the chemistry between her foster parents too, so shes always wished she would find something like that.

Depressed - Camelia may seem like the perfect happy go lucky girl, but she really isn't all that on the inside. From the very beginning she has felt an emptiness inside her after truly finding out that she wasn't truly a Porter. This was bearable, but then an even bigger hole formed when her foster parents were murdered. It's an emptiness she hasn't been able to fill for four years, and she doesn't think she ever will. It scares her every day and night, and that's the reason she hates being alone, because when she is, her mind wanders to that dark place. It may seem like shes complaining over something so silly, but it really has gotten to her.

Of course cooking is one of her skills. From the very beginning she was taught from one of the best cooks in Witchika. That's already been explained quite thoroughly. Moving on to singing, Camelia has quite a voice. She never shares it with anyone but she could definitely go somewhere with it if she wanted to. She also dabbles in art and writing. Most of her writing happens in her diary. The book of secrets she uses when shes at her lowest moments. Camelia loves decorating her food. She's gotten quite professional with it too. Her edible garnishes adding color and beauty to her scrumptious plates of food. Then going back to her obedience, she can follow orders quite well. Its even got to the point that she can assume what people will ask from her, and she just does it. It's quite remarkable.

| The Porters |
On the island Witchika, a famous father and daughter run restaurant was booming. Angelica Porter, the daughter, started working as a server when her mother passed at 17. Her father did the cooking and the financials until he got ill. He was able to work for a while and during that time she met her future husband, Dexter Finehart, a passionate young man who came to the restaurant every day to see her. He was persistent and did everything to win Angelica's heart. It was quite a cliche love story. Eventually she agreed to go on a date with him, it went very well and he continued to come visit her every day at the restaurant. Then finally Angelica's father passed away. She was only 18, old enough to take on the restaurant, but she didn't want to. She was so upset about losing her parents that she spiraled into a depression. A few weeks later Dexter surprised her with a new restaurant, The Porterhouse. He spent all of his money to redo the old restaurant and add a house in the back so she had somewhere to live. He made the slogan, "A Place to Make New Memories". Dexter told her that she could be the owner and that all she had to do to repay him was to smile. She was worried she wouldn't be able to start the restaurant though since there was no cook, but little did she know that mister Dexter was an expert cook. 2 years later the restaurant gained even more popularity than before and Dexter became Mr. Porter. The only problem in their lives was the fact that having children was impossible.

That's where Camelia came in 5 years later. Angelica's infertility became a problem of the past when they opened their door one day to find a little orange eyed baby on their door step. Dexter fell in love instantly with the little girl before him, but Angelica was concerned of where she came from and whether it was a really good idea to take her in. Dexter eventually convinced her and from that day forward, the mysterious little girl was know as Camelia Porter. As a little girl she would always run around the restaurant talking with customers that acknowledged her and watching her father cook, basically her favorite thing to do. She loved it when Dexter would let her taste test. As she got older, kids her same age would tease her because she was a lot different looking than all the other girls. They would always say, "Woah... Look at her... She's totally adopted. She doesn't look like the Porter's at all." That crushed her because deep down she knew it all along. Eventually her parents caught the mistreatment and decided to put her to work to distract her. Since it was quite obvious cooking was her passion, Dexter began to teach her all he knew.

Right off the bat, Camelia was quite the expert. She caught on to everything quickly and already at 12 she started experimenting with odd ingredients like peanut butter and fish. But somehow she pulled it off, and her father put some of her recipes on the menu of the restaurant. Dexter was unbelievably proud. When she turned 14 she officially worked side by side with her father and they would have such a grand time in the kitchen. At the end of the day the family would wash dishes together, bond and splash water on each other. Camelia had caring parents that did everything to spoil her.

| The Tragedy |
When Camelia turned 15 she started to notice things changing. Her parents started to fight a lot. And it got serious. Her father had to start sleeping on the floor. Most nights he wouldn't even sleep. Camelia will never forget the night she found him crying in the middle of the night, in the kitchen drinking away his sorrows. It broke her heart. They talked all night about what was going on, but Dexter just beat around the bush the entire time. He kept telling her that he got the family into bad situation that he wouldn't be able to fix. That night he gave her the two yellow hair clips that she wears everyday. He said it was a gift and that he hoped she would forgive him. A few weeks later and Camelia assumed everything was fine. After closing time one night, Dexter sent Camelia out to get some things from the market.

That's when Camelia's world was flipped upside down. Instead of coming home to her parents embrace, she came a raging fire that authorities were attempting to put out. She screamed and cried as they held her back from running into her burning home. Dexter's best friend Felix walked onto the scene and dragged Camelia to his house. It was quite a struggle until she fainted and he was able to give her a piggy back ride for the rest of the way. The next day she yelled and yelled at him asking what happened, until he finally gave in and decided to tell her. The story was that Dexter had gotten a loan from some sketchy fellas to help the restaurant start up, because it was quite a struggle at first and he was basically broke. Distracted by his new family and the restaurant, he forgot to pay them back. Eventually they contacted him and told him he now had to pay them a lot more. He couldn't afford it so they started threatening him. Then from assumption the loan sharks came and burnt down the restaurant. Camelia was devastated. She had never heard so many sickening words in her life.

Camelia stayed with Felix for a few weeks but then eventually she ran away. She just couldn't handle it anymore and she just wanted something to distract her from her feelings. She wanted to die, but she knew that wasn't and option, so she searched and searched for some kind of answer. The second day of searching, she was on the coast of the island when she found a ship. And not just some ordinary ship, a pirate ship. Camelia was quite a curious cat so she decided to go check it out. She looked out at the ship that was floating on the water and then heard people behind her. She turned around to see the crew of the ship, she assumed at least. She fell backwards startled and a tad terrified. But to her surprise a tall blond haired man, now her captain, put out his hand to help her up. And ever since then she has been cooking for her new family.

Nothing was better then morning on a boat, but of course, that was only Chris's opinion. The sky was a facade full of reds, pinks, and yellows, swirling across the open air in a beautiful motif of fiery beauty. The ocean was calm and the smell of salt was strong in the air today; Chris climbed down from the crows nest and checked his watch (he had stolen it off of a noblemen in Tsugitachi a while back), it was nearly 5:30 which meant that soon the crew would be bustling about, preparing for the day. There was at least another day or two until they reached the shores of the Pirate Island where they would be able to vacation and recuperate for a bit before setting out once more to collect treasure and terrorize islands.

Lately they had been going on a lot of raids and Chris thought that the crew deserved some time off in a place where no one would harass them. Besides, the island was practically empty this time of year aside from the workers that kept everything in order.

He walked across the deck, trying to be as quiet as he could for the crew below. The Captain's quarters were on the main floor, right under where the wheel was.

Chris opened the door to his room to find someone sleeping in his bed. She had been doing that a lot lately, leaving her bed to go sleep in his. That's when Chris noticed the grate to the vent on the floor was open and that there was blood trailing from the open hole to where she was hiding. With a sigh Chris pulled up the blanket to find her hugging her bleeding knees. "What did you do?" He asked, picking the little girl up to survey the damage. She had done quiet a number on herself and her skin was beginning to crack as well. "I guess I'll have to take you to Alister." The child went ridged in his hands, her face contorting into an expression that would have been amusing had she not been so scared. "Don't give me that look Little Sister, you're the one who banged yourself up."

He carried the squirming girl downstairs and knocked twice on the Medic's door before opening it. "Alister are you up?" There was blood slowly running down the child's legs. Thankfully none had dripped on the floor, otherwise Chris would have to have Edward clean it up. His watch began to beep and he placed the girl on the floor, "I have to go, I'll come back to get her soon." Chris promised and closed the door to Alister's room.

He had to go wake up Camelia to start on breakfast and then had to go discuss something with Robin and Cellia. Chris walked down the corridor until he reached the Cook's door and rapped hard on the wood, "Camelia, it's time to get up!"

Reyna had been crawling through the metal air vents, watching people sleep. She had stopped over Ki-Yo because of a noise that had come from the Woman's room and in the process Reyna scraped her knees on a nail. It had been a quick scramble back up to the Captain's room, where she proceeded to hide under his blanket and lick off the blood that had gotten on her fingers (how it had gotten on her hands Reyna wasn't so sure).

A few minutes later the Captain had come in to find Reyna hiding in his bed under the large quilt that covered the mattress. She knew what he was going to say, that she needed to go see the medic to patch up her knees, but frankly Reyna hated Alister. Not because he was a bad guy, he wasn't at all, she just hated doctors in general.

As soon as Chris put her down on the floor below she darted under the desk in the corner in a shimmery blur, her skin continuing to flake as it dried up. If Reyna didn't wet it soon, it would feel as though she were drowning on dry land. Maybe Reyna could run away to Cellia's quarters and use the second in command's bathroom to re-hydrate? Does Cellia keep salt in her bathroom? Reyna wondered.

Reyna silently begged for Chris to come back, it's not like calling out to him would do her any good, she didn't have a voice, plus it would have most likely only angered Alister and alerted the others that there was a stowaway on board; which was not something Reyna wanted.

Reyna watched the Medic move with keen golden eyes, she had seen what he had done to some of his other patients and wasn't going to let him poke her with any needles or get too close with anything that wasn't a band aid.

The bleeding was getting significantly worse, she didn't care though, even though it was staining Reyna's favorite dress. The child looked around the small space for an escape route, but the metal duct in here was in the ceiling; the only way to get inside of the crawl space was on a really tall chair or a ladder. Who might be able to help her get out of here? Only three people on the ship knew of her existence; one was in the room and the other had left her here. Everyone else was most likely asleep due to the early hour.

Reyna herself had been asleep only thirty minutes before but had, had a nightmare about her past and couldn't find Chris so she had gotten through the vents to look for Cellia, but had stopped over Ki-Yo because of a noise (which had turned out to just be the sound of breathing).

Camelia Porter

Everything was in perfect order, unlike yesterday when all of the chocolate ice cream had mixed in with the strawberry ice cream. It was a disaster, but today all the ice cream was in its designated positions. Camelia couldn't decide which decadent tower of ice cream to eat from this day. She was craving the rich flavor of coffee, but typical vanilla bean made her mouth water too. There was so many flavors to chose from, but in the end she settled with mint chocolate chip. She skipped over to the giant scoops of mint ice cream and waited for her cute little butler.

"Why Miss Camelia, How are you this fine day? May I offer you a spoon so you can enjoy your feast?"

Standing before her was a black cat on his hind legs in a little cute tux, holding a platter of different sized spoons. Camelia smiled and chose the biggest spoon on the platter.

"Why thank you sir Snugglekins! I'm quite swell!"

She then proceeded to dig in to her well deserved ice cream, but before the first spoonful reached her mouth, everything went black.

"Camelia, it's time to get up!"

The captain's words startled her. And before she could realize she was slipping off the bed, she landed on the floor with a thud. Camelia let out a moan and rubbed her sore eyes. She stretched a little then jumped up as she remembered the captain was at her door. She opened the door even when she knew she wasn't presentable for her superior, due to the fact that she was in her pajamas and the embarrassing drool that was on her face. She blushed as she knew there was no going back, now that she already opened the door.

"I'm so sorry I didn't wake up earlier! I guess I uh... stayed up to late! I hope you can forgive me sir!"

Camelia gave him a cute little salute as she remembered last night. She couldn't sleep so she stayed in the kitchen and ate some ice cream she made the other day. She ate quite a lot of it too. Unfortunately her emotions were getting to her so instead of feeling sadness, she decided to fill her heart with the sweet poison we know as ice cream. She would have usually started breakfast by now.

"Oh sir! Shall I start breakfast? Do you have any requests for today?" Camelia grinned.

Chris was quite surprised that Camelia opened the door wearing nothing but a shirt. He didn't mind, it wasn't a bad view or anything, he just hadn't thought of her as the type to sleep in just a button down shirt. "I'm so sorry I didn't wake up earlier! I guess I uh... stayed up to late! I hope you can forgive me sir!" This wasn't as much of a shock because frankly, it wasn't Chris's business as to what his crew did after hours. After Chris turned in for the night, he assumed the other stayed up for a few more hours before going to bed as well; you know what they say when you assume.

"Oh sir! Shall I start breakfast? Do you have any requests for today?" Chris leaned against the wall, an easy smile slipping onto his lips. He hoped he didn't look pervy, "There isn't really anything specific I would prefer. Although I did like those rice omelettes you made the other week." Chris normally hated eggs, they made him extremely nauseous, but rice omelettes had done nothing other than satisfy his taste buds and belly. "Would you mind making some more donuts as well? A little bird on board told me she greatly enjoys your pastries." Chris loved a good pastry and if Camelia didn't want to make omelettes than donuts and coffee were the next best thing.

"I'll see you in the kitchen," next he had to check in with his second in command and then find Robin. He heard stirring coming from another room and figured Edward was just rising as well; good there was some cleaning on the top deck that needed to be done. He knocked on Cellia's door and heard voices coming from within. Not one for the privacy of others, Chris opened the door to see Ki-Yo and Cellia sitting on the bed. Did all the girls on this ship sleep in just shirts? How had he not found this out until now?

"Morning," he nodded to the two. "Sorry to interrupt," Chris stepped into the doorway, opening the door up a bit more. "Cellia do you think we could meet after breakfast today?" He asked, seeing as how she was busy with Ki-Yo who looked as though she had seen a ghost. Maybe she had? This ship was quite old after all.

Reyna relaxed a bit when Alister said that there would be no needles for her today. It was a relief, the girl hated needles almost as much as she hated doctors. Reyna winced when he put the disinfectant on the wounds, the stuff coming from the bottle smelled bad and it stung and in Reyna's mind that meant it was bad.

She sat still long enough for the Medic to apply the bandages, then Reyna began squirming once more. Once he was done the child followed Alister to the door and ran as soon as it was opened. She had to be careful as she made her way back to Chris's room. Reyna had to be sure not to run into anyone or to let anyone see her and it was hard work hiding on a ship at the hour when everyone was just getting out of their rooms.

Reyna stood in front of the Captain's corridors on the main deck. For a second she unsure if she should enter. The answer was obvious, but this was Reyna's first time outside in a very long time and she didn't really want to go back to the isolation of the room. It was the flaking of her scales that reminded Reyna if she didn't go inside, she would probably dry out. So Reyna turned the gold knob and went inside the large space, walking towards the closet. Inside the part the room the Captain had deemed her's, Reyna poured a cup of salt into the tub of water that sat in front of the small bed behind a second door. The girl doused herself in the metal basin, breathing a sigh of relief as her skin absorbed the salt water. Her lungs no longer felt as though they were going to burst and her knees felt significantly better as well.

Who should I spy on next? Reyna wondered as she ran her wet fingers along her neck. Suddenly the girl remembered Alister's advice and pulled off the dress she was wearing, balling it up throwing it in a wet heap into the corner. Robin and Edward are always interesting to watch, Reyna thought. Of course, at this time of the morning Camelia would be making breakfast and the smells would no doubt lure her to the space above the stove top. Darren scarred Reyna, he reminded her a lot of someone she once knew, although she couldn't remember who it was. So no, she definitely wouldn't watch him.

Reyna had already risked watching Ki-Yo and that hadn't turned out so well. The girl stood up and stepped out of the basin, the left over water absorbing itself into her skin. Reyna went through the small pile of dresses that she owned and slipped into a pink one with white ruffles on the front and a black ribbon.

Next she slid into the vents to explore the ship and spy on a life Reyna knew would never be her's.

Camelia Porter

"There isn't really anything specific I would prefer. Although I did like those rice omelets you made the other week." Chris smiled at Camelia.

This made her blush even more. She was worried that her lack of professionalism would cause a problem in the future. She knew the captain was a sweetheart and wouldn't hold it against her though, she hoped. As the captain made his first request, Camelia nodded and referred back to the library of her memories and made sure she had the necessary ingredients. Thankfully she had some leftover rice from the night before that would be perfect, and she had eggs and other veggies that would make the omelets perfect.

"Would you mind making some more donuts as well? A little bird on board told me she greatly enjoys your pastries. I'll see you in the kitchen," Chris then left to complete his journey of checking on the crew.

"Thanks Captain! See you!" Camelia beamed. She then ran back in her room and shut the door quickly. She knew she was running late and everyone's schedule always seemed to be tight, so she hurried around. First she ran over to a tub of fresh water she poured last night and washed her face. She then brushed her hair and readjusted her hair clips and ponytail. She was making good time so far, and she almost walked out of her room in her pajamas once again. She was a bit too excited about cooking. She pulled her button up shirt over her head, too lazy to unbutton all of the buttons, and put on her most feminine outfit. She felt particularly girly today. Her usual style was more on the tom boy side since she spent most of her time with her father.

After making her self presentable, she rushed out of her bedroom and ran through the halls to the kitchen to get started right away. She grabbed her white apron that hung on a hook and began to brain storm. Being the over achiever she is, she decided to take on the challenge of meeting both requests. Firstly she needed some coffee, so she grabbed the coffee beans and threw them into the grinder. She loved the smell of ground coffee, she really loved anything coffee related. While that was going she decided she would make cronuts, a recipe her father taught her a long time ago. The perfect, delicious mixture of a croissant and a donut. She knew they would be quite time consuming but any donut really takes a while, and the Captain would understand.

Her mind was set as she elegantly maneuvered around the kitchen grabbing what she needed: eggs, milk, butter, salt, yeast, sugar, all-purpose flour, and of course some vanilla. She grabbed a big bowl and spoon from one of the cupboards and began mixing all of the measured ingredients together. It took some arm work, but she enjoyed every second of it. You could tell by her giant idiotic grin. After everything was mixed she threw the dough into the fridge to chill.

She then decided to set the table just in case anyone decided to dine in the dining room. She sat down nine beautiful white china plates and a fork and knife to accompany each one. Her obsessiveness took control though and she had to make sure everything was symmetrical.

After her OCD-ness calmed down, she made some final adjustments to the dough to make the cronuts perfect and returned it to the fridge to chill once more. While she waited for the dough, she moved onto the omelets. She knew she had to problem solve since making eight omelets individually would take way too long. Then it came to her, four stove tops and several pans. Multitasking was key. She set out all the pans and began grabbing ingredients. This time it was onions, chicken thigh, olive oil, corn, carrots, peas, pepper, rice, ketchup, and soy sauce. Camelia was ecstatic that she had so many ingredients at her disposal. It was like a dream come true. She began chopping, dicing, and sauteing. Ignoring the fact that she was all alone in the kitchen. It was one of the things she had grown used to, but it wasn't enjoyable. She hated being alone, she always wanted company. Even if the person couldn't hold up a conversation. Just the fact that somebody was by her side made her comfortable.

Robin Sprocket

Robin scoured through the hall, his ears twitching with joy as they caught the slow, heavy thumping of his favourite target. “Time to assess the damage done.” The little jester exclaimed with glee, greeting the swabby- Wait, no. Swabby is too belittling, and Edward wasn't the least bit small. Was he? No, no he wasn't.

“Ahoy, Groggy-man!” Robin greeted with a horrible attempt at imitating a stereotype pirate accent, his arms flailing about to grab the man's attention.

Sparks followed behind, dragging her waggling tail along and greeting the swabby with an excited bark.

It was only until Edward approached him that the navigator felt somewhat intimidated by the difference in their height. His brass eyes watching in awe as they automatically crawled higher and higher to maintain eye contact.

“Smokes?” The giant offered.

“They kill.” Robin quickly retorted, curiously circling around Edward as if he was waiting on a mention about 'You will never guess what happened to me this morning!'.

“Beautiful morning isn't it?”

“It is? Yeah, it is!” Robin stifled a laugh. “How strange to hear you mention that! You'd think it's a new thing for you.” He stood just beside Edward, eyeing the obvious cuff hanging from his wrist.

“So... How's your morning? Still tied up with keeping the ship all clean and snazzy?” Robin sniggered, making not so subtle jabs at the lone cuff before he, and his little dog too, followed Edward to the galley.

Here was hoping Cammy was about ready to, once again, cook up an amazing, drooltastic breakfast for everyone to enjoy.

“Is the coffee brewing? Make mine an Irish, please.”

Irish? How would you make coffee Irish? Brew it there? Add Irish? Maybe they just added four-leaf clovers for taste? “Just black for me, please!” Not that he needed coffee. Robin had plenty energy of himself alone, but that didn't mean he didn't like drinking the black goo- One second thought. “Or maybe just water! Cheers Cammy~” He rectified.

"Of course, Chr-Captain." Cellia said softly as she was dragged from her room by Ki-Yo, "Sir, Close and lock my door please!" She called over her shoulder, the glimmer of a smile fluttering at the corners of her lips. Looking at Ki-Yo, who now appears to be perfectly fine and even happy. Cellia knew whos blood it was but she couldnt tell her who it was, "Hey, Ki my dear, I dont know who or what spilt the blood but im willing to bet that it was Robin. So if you ignore it and pretend it didnt happen im sure that he wont do it again." She said, offering up a reasonable explanation of how the blood got in Ki-Yo's room.

Entering the dinning room Cellia's eyes quickly made their ways around the room, "Good morning Edward, Robin, Camelia. Cam, dear please tell me you have coffee made and that we have flavored cream and sugar" She called out, her voice was like music floating through the room. "Robin The Captain asked to speak to me after breakfast, that probably means that your going to be needed as well. Edward, I need to speak with you." She continued, it was very official, but there was something about the gleamer in her eyes when she said she needed to speak to Edward that would make anyone who knew her well and knew of Edwards predicament only a few hours earlier think she was amused.

Edward Strand

“It is? Yeah, it is!” Robin stifled a laugh. “How strange to hear you mention that! You'd think it's a new thing for you.”
Edward knew by ignoring Robin he would be enticing the little man to prod him even more and it was confirmed when Robin began to follow him around the ship the same way Sparks followed Robin. Edward just hoped Robin would get preoccupied with something and forget about this particular prank before Edward had dug himself a pretty deep hole.
You won this round Robin. Just let it go.

Camelia ran into the kitchen, threw some coffee beans into the grinder and started to gather ingredients for something that Edward interpreted it as “not coffee”. She was in her zone and seemed not to notice anyone.
“Morning Camelia, you seem to have everything under control here so um, we’ll be out of your hair. Please don’t forget to add a little kicker to my coffee.” Leaving the frenzied cook alone, Edward noted that there was something different about her today although he couldn't exactly put his finger on it.

Edward was massaging his throbbing temples in the dining room, trying to recall where he had left his trench coat as more people showed up for breakfast. A familiar voice greeted everyone and Edward looked up to see that it was Ki-Yo and Cellia who had just entered. Edward greeted back with a weak salute and went back to caressing his aching temples. If he had his trench coat he could drink from his second flask, the flask designated for when being a pirate became more about looting and fighting than sailing. His special orange flask was kept only for a single purpose, to have gin on him at all times. "Dutch courage", some old sailor had taught him was all he needed to spring into action. He needed a little boost now, some courage to to stand against his worsening hangover.
“Edward, I need to speak with you.”
Those words jolted Edward up and he knew very well what they meant. Busted. Of course there was always the question of how much they knew so Edward decided to stall Cellia in order to get his bearings, gather how deep he was in the mud and use that to generate his latest excuse. Although he had a plan set in motion – a plan that was encoded in to his being by now – this wasn't the way he wanted to start his morning.
“Before you start can I make a rather embarrassing request?” Edward whispered to Cellia, while avoiding eye contact to feign his embarrassment. “As everyone knows, you are the best when it comes to locks and as you can see,” Edward pointed to his new wrist adornment. “I could use some help.”

"Perfect," Chris clapped his hands together and walked down the hall towards the kitchen, he could smell the food all the way down the hall and wondered what kind of vegetables would be in the omelettes today. Speaking of vegetables, Chris had to get a list from everyone of what they needed when they landed on Pirate's Cove. He was going to restock the ship while they all rested. Something suddenly occurred to him and Chris realized this was an urgent question he was going to need to ask Cellia, but he didn't want to bug her.

He would have to ask her later then... When Chris entered the kitchen he noticed that Edward had a handcuff on his wrist and was following Cellia out of the room. Immediately, Chris's head turned towards Robin and the Captain rolled his eyes. Normally Robin's jokes were funny, but Chris was beginning to feel bad for Edward who seemed to always be on the receiving end of one of Robin's pranks. Chris was glad that Robin had not attempted to prank him yet, but then again, no one was allowed into the Captain's Corridors without permission. That didn't stop a few crew members though, sometimes he would walk into his room to find one of them sitting on his bed.

Suddenly, the ship began to tilt and Chris cursed. He bolted from the kitchen and past Alister in the hallway, up the stairs and bursting through the door before he finally reached the wheel and turned it sharply the other way. The ship began to even out and Chris sighed in relief, with all the future technology that Tsugitachi produced, their stabilizers weren't all the good. They might have to raid the island again to see what new machines they came out with that could help the crew in their endeavors. Chris was beginning to go back down the kitchen when he tripped and caught his foot on the handrail and ended up tumbling down the stairs. God, Chris could be such a clutz sometimes. He stood up and stretched, cracking his back and moaning at his sore bottom. Chris looked at his palm to see a piece of wood stuck in it. He bit down on his lip and pulled the splinter out, trying not to yelp at the sudden pain. Thankfully, no one else was on deck, otherwise his image as their fearless Captain could have been tarnished.

Reyna crawled through the vents, avoiding the nail that had cut her knees up. The child was halfway to the kitchen when something caught her attention, a puppy! She watched as it followed the orange haired boy who was trailing behind Edward. Her golden eyes followed the two curiously, but only for a minute before Reyna remembered her previous task of getting to the kitchen. Reyna crawled carefully until she was positioned over the vents that looked down over the stove, the girl took in a whiff of the delicious food and sighed in contentment, her tummy grumbling at the sight of the perfect omelettes.

Then Camelia took something out of the fridge; could it be? Was that doughnut dough? Suddenly Reyna found herself salivating and wiped her mouth on her forearm. The Captain had better bring her donuts and not just eat them all himself. Could she bite him if he did that? No, last time she bit him he punished her and made her sit in Cellia's room while the woman was working on something, that had been a very boring hour.

Maybe Cellia would bring her donuts? Reyna turned and began crawling the other way to find Cellia. She reached the girl's room, but found that there was no one inside of it. Great, now who was she supposed to ask? Chris didn't always remember to bring her breakfast and she had a feeling that with all the preparations for their vacation, Chris would forget about her. She wasn't about to ask Alister... Which left no one. Unless she broke Chris's rules and asked Ki-Yo or Camelia? Maybe she could convince them that she was a ghost that needed doughnut sacrifices? This obsession with fried dough probably wasn't good for her, but doughnuts were Reyna's salvation. It was one of the first things she ate when the Captain rescued her out of a basement in Drek.

Ki-Yo grinned while her eyes were set on that single lace on her hand, her hands shaking for excitement, various of images of possible clothes run through her head merely eagerly waiting to be practicised by her. Yes, she'll use it for a very important purpose, it is not to be wasted. Probably a new shirt for Edward or Robin? They urgently needed it, even without them requesting it Ki-Yo knew. Well, she had eyes after all. And in her eyes, the shirts were already garbage, in use for too many years already.

"Hey, Ki my dear, I dont know who or what spilt the blood but im willing to bet that it was Robin. So if you ignore it and pretend it didnt happen im sure that he wont do it again."

"You think so? Robin's prank?" She asked, now thinking back about what happened. Sure, it would fit to the navigator's profile, but Ki-Yo wasn't really convinced. It was real blood after all, which she found in her room, and something like that was a bit too much for a prank, even if it was Robin. "Hmpf. If he is the culprit, I will be sure to have revenge. He nearly shocked me to death! It's unforgivable!" Her aggressive side showed up that instant, but left not too long afterwards with the wind, leaving only a pouting Ki-Yo there with a frown. No, she was not convinced, at all. She couldn't think Robin is capable of doing such a prank, is he? It can't be changed, she needed to talk to the navigator.

Following Cellia into the kitchen, she spotted Edward and Robin, as also of course, the cook. Which left only the explosive expert and the doctor to be absent. "Morning Rob, Eddy--", she greeted the Swabby with the nickname she gave him, but stopped seeing in what miserable position he ended in. And most definitely the fault of... "ROBIN! What are you doing to that poor guy? That's definitely a bit too much, even for your pranks!" She said approaching Edward with a frown, still angry because of the believe that it was Robin who left the blood stain in her room to scare her, no, terrify her.

“As everyone knows, you are the best when it comes to locks and as you can see, I could use some help.”

With determination, Ki-Yo stared at the cluff on his wrist, puzzling on how she could help him out of these. Tilting her head after some minutes, she had not come to a conclusion... yet. Of course, she could give way to Cellia, but she was stubborn. Eventually she started to try braking them with bare hands, which obviously was a waste of time and so freaking dumb, therefore she finally turned around to Robin, attempting to catch the little rascal for good. Then suddenly the ship began to tilt... Ki-Yo almost fell! The captain though acted quick and went as fast as he could to the control room. In the meanwhile, Ki-Yo made an effort so that the perfect picture of the table set done by the cook remained somehow the same, at least, not that some go flying or something, that would be a real pain... for the feet.

After that, her eyes sparkled. "Robin, let me ask you a few questions...", she said dangerously while slowly approaching the navigator, wanting to know the truth.

Darren had been sitting on the bow, his arms and legs stuck out across from the railings, his head bobbing up and down as the ship had moved along the calm sea. He had fallen asleep- or more like, a stupor- with his eyes open, glaring at the dark waves that had intrigued- enticed- him, the soft rippling movements of a temptress drawing him to sit down in the open, rather than back in his safe bunk. He finally stirred as sounds from the kitchen forced him to blink his bleary eyes slowly, one after the other, as if turning them on with the soft motion of his eyelids down and then back up. Here…. The memories started to click as Darren looked around, his neck cracking as he turned it left and right, his shoulders protesting as he leaned away from the railing. His arms had fallen asleep. Darren grunted as he lost control of his arms, as the little annoying particles of sand seemed to flow down within his blood stream into his arm and fingers. Nothing to be done. He shook his hands repeatedly as he returned to gazing at the sea- it was a different one from this morning. Now, it was bright and happy, compared to the dark and seductive waters Darren had seen yesterday.

So this is the life of a pirate? Darren’s eyes flickered towards the kitchen before his eyes flickered back onto his hands, as he kneaded them against his legs, ignoring the shooting pain that shot up his arm whenever he did. The sea…and a crew almost like a family… He sighed- he was thinking too much. As per to Him- Darren clenched his fist, a look of pure hatred flashed upon his face- until it was gone again. He was on a mission, but not one that he had signed up for when he had stepped onto this boat. No. Looking around, Darren leaned slowly against the railing, his eyes vacant and his hair messy, swaying in the damp sea air. This was only an intermediate phase, to help him get to the destination he wanted to reach. My…target. For his newest mission that had been passed down to him from the higher ups. Even the captain didn’t know- but well, probably, he did know something. It wasn’t everyday that an explosives expert comes forth with a larger array of knives than explosives. But Darren had been able to quell any questions about his talent with explosives. He had been trained to- it was his job. My…job… His hands back to normal, Darren wiped them on his coat and slowly got up in a fluid motion, the hidden knives that Darren had placed in his blazer grazing his skin without making any noise.

It was another day on the ship, and Darren still had no idea what to do. Explosives expert… What did that mean? Was he supposed to help out on the ship? But no matter, Darren would have done anything the captain asked for him to do- except for murder. That was only from the higher-ups only, the ones that had forcibly trained him into what he was today. Taking the view of the sky, the sea, and enjoying the crisp air that blew around him, Darren felt at ease for once in a long time- until his stomach rumbled. Darren looked down at his stomach, his eyes wide as if shocked by the sound. Food… But there were people in the kitchen. Hesitating, Darren shook his head before taking a step forward, and then another, and then more towards the kitchen, his face emotionless but inside it was a completely different story. He had never interacted with people as the ship crew members did with one another- he never knew people could treat others as they did on this ship. He also knew that some didn’t like him- and, anyways, he was on here for a mission not on a quest to find friends.

Ignoring the other people as he walked in, Darren made his way around the table and sat in a corner, his face gloomy and his aura bored. At least, he hoped that it was so. Without his mask on, Darren felt as if all of his emotions were out in the open for all to judge and inspect- he could not hide anything. But now it was not important. He had a new mission. Food… Turning his head, Darren gazed at the busy Camelia, waiting for her to present something for the people that now sat at the table.

Her stomach growled, her knees trembled; she was rarely hungry but when the rumbles began, they did not stop until satisfied by something sweet. Reyna would be breaking the rules, Chris would be terribly mad, but what else was there to do? She positioned herself over the vents in the kitchen, the metal creaking under her weight as she shifted and knelt above the grate. Reyna kicked it, watching as it tumbled to the ground. She followed it a few seconds later and hit the wooden floor with a soft thump! Ignoring the stares of the crew members and walking right up to the fridge.

Reyna took out the milk and went to one of the place settings at the mahogany table, pouring herself a glass and sitting down, chugging the cold liquid and giving a silent sigh when finished.

The pink choker with the silver pendant that dangled around her neck marked Reyna as property of the ship, in case she ever got off and needed to find her way back; there were only a handful of ways to get such a necklace. Even though she was technically a stowaway, Reyna was also property of the King of the Pirates. Her thoughts straying from the milk, Reyna her head full of blond hair to look at the chef, Camelia, hoping that there was an omelette for her as well because her stomach was growling quite loudly now and the milk hadn't satisfied the hunger pangs.

What was she to do while she waited for food? Reyna glanced around the room, she couldn't exactly introduce herself as the child had no voice and she knew that even if she did say anything they probably wouldn't know how to respond; so Reyna did the only thing she could think of, she picked up the grate and held it out to Edward.

Ki-Yo was again, pissed off, not really seem to calm herself down after watching the act of the Navigator. “You got me. I swapped your shampoo with hair dye, sorry. I'm joking! I wouldn't do that. Hehe... Heh. Anyway, how may little Robin be of service to you, ma'am?” Sus.. pi.. cous... Ki-You watched the little guy with a threatening glare, no, she was definitely not up for jokes. "The blood! In my room! It was your doing right?" She accused him, pointing her finger with sprouting confidence. A confidence without any evidence. Yet a delation anyone in the crew would think as possible.

Meanwhile, Darren entered the kitchen. Actually Ki-Yo didn't really know how to deal with this one. He makes it difficult for her to figure him out, or at least trying to communicate with him as fellow crew members. It's not only Ki-Yo who had difficulties to get through him though, which isn't such a big surprise as to how quiet and unapproachable he was. Frightening. Intimidating. Creepy. Ki-Yo thought at the first encounter that he was a professional killer. That's why her attention averted to him as he entered and took a seat, apparently waiting for the food to be served. Which shouldn't take long... for her stomache sake, too.

Then, there was that really awkward silence.

Of course, Ki-Yo didn't really realise that; she was again, in her own world where she tried to calm down and accomplish a smile as well as a greeting, as it would be weird not to show such gestures to fellow crew members, even if we're talking about Derren who wasn't likely to have bothered with such triviality. At least, Ki-Yo believed it to be that way. Suddenly, a strange sound interrupting the silence. Metal against metal, a crash upon the wooden flor as well as a sound of a falling subject, roughly kissed the ground. Someone... or something, is trying to get through... At the time Ki-Yo grabbed the knife on the table, that little girl popped out. Made her way to the kitchen without a care for anyone's opinion and took milk out of the fridge. Immidiately, she gulped the white liquid down as of great thirst.

"Eh- uhm. Eeeeeeh??! Who-- no-- WHAT is this child? Huh, Huuuh, how did she get on the ship?" Ki-Yo was so confused she took a seat, while her eyes still fixed on the blonde girl, watching her obviously taken aback. Blind passenger perhaps? A LOST KID? While she thought of various possibilities as of how and why she was aboard, her attention shifted to the necklace she wore. The pink choker with the silver pendant. No outsider could own.

When the girl glanced around the room, Ki-Yo's confusion changed to curiosity. "Hey cute girl, what's your name? Where did you come from? How did you get that necklace? How old are you?" She however, approached Edward and held out the grate. A bit irritated she got ignored and all the attention was meant for Edward, Ki-Yo decided to tease that big guy a bit. "Uhm... I guess it's her present to you, Edward? She finds you attractive perhaps? Love at first sight? Or, or wait, she thinks you can break that cuff with that right? Or or..." While she tried to figure out the reason of why (which she eventually did very eagerly and not for teasing purposes), she heard sounds other than usual. It wasn't the reassuring ocean waves, nor the exciting sound and smell of Camelia's cooking.

Ki-Yo ran outside. Her hair flew widely in the wind, but her sight only fixed on one thing ahead: "LAAAAND, HOOOOO!!!"
