Reyna is very short, about 4'5 and 80 Ibs. She has fairy tale yellow hair and gold eyes to match, there is usually a rose color tint to her cheeks and she is built for speed and agility. Her skin is very fair and in sunlight appears to sparkle; she has a second layer of skin that allows her to breath underwater.

Most would say that Reyna lacks personality, but really, she just keeps to herself. She's quiet and doesn't do much, she doesn't really move about the ship, in fact, she really only stays in one place, the Captain's cabin. He calls her his good luck charm, which Reyna doesn't really think of herself as because of the fact that only bad things ever happen to her. She seems to think she's a walking disaster, but doesn't express her opinion because she physically can't. Her vocal chords were cut in Drek, but that's a story for later.
Reyna is very curious about the world, she hasn't seen much of it and she's scared of most things because of what's happened in her past. No one in the crew really knows she's there except the Captain and maybe the Medic and the Second in Command. Reyna used to have a bad habit of loving those who don't deserve it, or people who will hurt her in the end. She's learned from that though and now is very reserved and only trusts those who she knows won't hurt her, or who ever offers her donuts (whichever comes first really).
Reyna is scared of the dark, of cages, people who reach out for her suddenly, and bad smells (bad things usually follow bad smells). She was locked in a cage in a dark basement in a building that smelled like formaldehyde and floor cleaner, so all of those fears are justified. Her absolute worst fear, however, is of being alone again. She waited for so long for someone to come find her, that when the Doctors in Drek told her that no one ever loved her and no one would ever come save her she finally broke. It was almost an instant reaction, as if something had just shut off; she became a limp doll, wouldn't move, eat, or drink. By the time the Captain found her, Reyna was so close to death that the doctors were thinking of failing her and putting her down.

Reyna remembers what the world was like before it fell apart.
Pieces of the world torn into an apocalyptic catastrophe when the King and Queen, her parents, were assassinated. Reyna was only five years old and yet, she remembers walking into their bedroom in the middle of the night, scared of the thunder and lightning. Their bodies were draped over each other like sheets, blood still staining their white night clothes.
It was an assassination, the doctors said when they had officially been declared dead. That's when the civil war broke out. Bodies littered the streets, there was never enough food for anyone and the worst part of it all, was that Reyna was all alone. A selfish spoiled brat who was suddenly thrown into the real world, forced to grow up and face reality.
That's when the someone approached her, saying she had the most unique eyes. People had always been telling her that, so she had thought nothing of it. He offered Reyna a trade, information for food. The five year old greedily accepted, not even thinking about what kind of information he wanted. The transformation wasn't painful and the food was plentiful, Reyna shared it with the those who hadn't died in the war and they became a family of sorts, sharing food and shelter, coming together to sing songs under the moonlight, hiding in dilapidated buildings from the ravenous animals that were hungry for human flesh.
That's when the woman arrived. Her name was Leslie and she came in an airship, wearing fancy clothes and sporting a bag that looked as if it carried many wonderful things. Being the stupid five year old she was, Reyna stole the bag as soon as Leslie turned around and ran, taking every confusing turn she knew that led to the center of the city, where the castle had once stood. Leslie was smart, she pursued Reyna with the patience and grace of a hunter. Whereas Reyna was reckless and and in her haste didn't see Leslie standing in front of her. Leslie took pity on Reyna, she invited the pipsqueak into her home promising that there was plenty to eat and that the tiny being would even have her own room! Reyna accepted her offer eagerly, forgetting about the man and his offer; the pills she had been taking in order to get food that would keep her alive.
Reyna lived with Leslie for two years, she was so happy and appreciated everything that Leslie and her family did for her. It was no wonder why she was so sorry the last day she ever saw the woman she considered her mother. Reyna had, had a fight with her because she was scared of the thunder and lightning and Leslie had told her she was being silly. It was only an hour later that the man from the island sent his goons to raid the castle and Reyna never saw Leslie again.
Years of torture followed; they cut Reyna's vocal cords so that no one would be able to hear her screaming. It took a while for her to break, but when it finally happened, Reyna was just an empty shell. It was a week later when the Pirate King raided the kingdom of Drek and found her. He took Reyna in and nursed her back to health, the two looked so similar that the Captain had taken to calling her little sister and when it was announced that he was the pirate King, he began calling her Princess. He knows what she thinks just by the looks she gives him and The Captain knows almost everything about her, except her past and her connection to the doctor on Drek.

♔Donuts: Or anything sweet really, donuts are her favorite but she'll never say no to a slice of cake, pie, or sucking candies.
♔Shiny things: Anything that sparkles or shines will immediately capture her attention. Unfortunately they also serve as a lure and distraction when it comes to Reyna.
♔The ocean: She has loved it ever since she was a little girl, her whole life was surrounded by ocean. Then when the doctors gave her a sort of second "skin," so that she could breath underwater (they were looking for an adapt to survive kind of thing in case the island sunk), she grew even more attached to the water.

♔Bad smells: Most people hate bad smells, but Reyna especially hates the smell of floor cleaner, formaldehyde, and alcohol wipes.
♔Loud things/people: After being kept in a quiet space underground for so long, her ears are really sensitive to noises and loud things scare her.
♔Crowds: This dislike derives from when her parents were killed, there was a huge crowd at the funeral and a bunch of people surrounded her to tell her they were sorry. She never figured out what they were sorry for, because it wasn't their fault her parents had been murdered.

♔Hiding: She can squeeze into the tiniest of spaces.
♔Swimming: Because of her second layer of skin, which she refers to as her scales (although no one knows this because Reyna can't speak), Reyna does not have to come up for air when swimming and so she can stay under water for prolonged periods of time.

She also has the odd habit of drinking blood. She's not a vampire, but when she cuts or injures herself, she'll suck the blood up because the change in her DNA that the medicines and tests caused made her blood sweet (at least to her); and in case I haven't mentioned it before, Reyna also really likes donuts.
