"Blood is all I need in life."

Description

Alex De'veres
Image

Nickname:
Blood or Ironic, which he gave himself the name Ironic

Age:
Eighteen

Role:
Sixth Assassin

Partner:
TBA

Inhuman Abilities:
Alex has acquired the ability to control shadows. One wouldn't be able to tell seeing as he doesn't have to move his body to control them only his mind. His ability of course has a weakness though. He can only control a shadow for so long. If he tries to go too long eventually it will start to take away years of his life until he dies.

Weapons:
Alex uses only one weapon which is a scythe that he calls Mary. No one knows why he calls it that, but he does. It doesn't really seem assassin like, but he loves to be out of the ordinary, so it works for him.

Personality:
Alex is the pure definition of split personalities. The way he portrays himself is quite different from his actually personality. The doctors tried to understand the darkness lying deep in his soul, but they could never figure it out. Truth be told he himself doesn't truly know, or doesn't care. Alex has a habit of playing with people's emotions. He has always been infatuated by them and compelled to bring them out of people. His favorite emotion is fear with a hint of pain. There is just something about the frightened look upon a person that makes him feel pleasant inside. Entertaining himself by toying with people is something he has done even before he was brought to the facility. Of course he doesn't know that though. Alex at first glance can be very misleading. He seems so sweet when you first meet him, and you can bet he will be nice to you until he gets bored. It is at that time he tends to start playing with people. Usually though it doesn't get that far as long as his Tamer is around.

Alex is very arrogant and feels he can do what he wants, but you can never tell if you don't truly know him. He can be pretty random at times and seems to be a person who it would be fun to hang around. He always smiles when he is with other people, even though his sarcasm can ostracize him from others at times. Being a social outcast is something he is not very fond of. He doesn't want to be out of the group, but at the same time he makes sure to keep a safe distance from everyone else. He will always ask about you and never tell anything about himself. He is very much like a labyrinth ready to be solved by the right person. They just haven't quite come along just yet though.

Alex can turn into something that is completely different from his more cheerful side. This is his blood lust. The sight, smell, and even texture of blood pleases him. The soothing crimson color brings him some kind of sadistic happiness. He wants to kill an infinite number of people when he is like this. The scary thing is he can turn to this side at any given time. He could go from laughing to wanting to slit your throat in a split second and not even think twice about it. Alex loves killing and would never give it up for anyone in the world. He wants to kill all the time no matter if he is in his elated mode or sadistic, he wants to always kill. The difference is he can control it when he is happy, but the second he feels something evil trying to rise within him, he will let his demon side run free without a care. He doesn't care if anyone gets hurt not even his comrades.

Because he can be so deceitful and turn on you in an instant, he doesn't see the need in controlling himself. What else would he have a Tamer for? Alex is truly a twisted and sick person inside and could care less about it. He loves torturing people and getting on their bad sides to push them to the edge and see what they do. In his mind it is a test just to see how strong you are, but in reality it is just ominous. Hopefully one day something will come along to help him, but if not then oh well, too late. He will just have to keep killing until he dies or at lest till someone gets tired of him and kills him.

Theme Song:
Seven Devils
Holy water cannot help you now
A thousand armies couldn't keep me out
I don't want your money
I don't want your crowd
See I have to burn
Your kingdom down

Holy water cannot help you now
See I've had to burn your kingdom down
And no rivers and no lakes, can put the fire out
I'm gonna raise the stakes; I'm gonna smoke you out

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in my house
See they were there when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning,
And I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done

And now all your love will be exorcised
And we will find you saying it's to be harmonized.
And it's an even sum
It's a melody
It's a battle cry
It's a symphony

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in my house
See, they were there when I woke up this morning
And I'll be dead before the day is done

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning,
And I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done

They can keep me alive
'Til I tear the walls
'Til I slave your hearts
And they take your souls
And what have we done?
Can it be undone?
In the evil's heart
In the evil's soul

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done

Alex's Beautiful Thoughts;

Lindsey,
"The girl is too angry for me and...like me in some ways, but of course I'm better. It should be fun to pick on her and watch her freak out though. Nothing like a cute blonde running wild."

Haine,
"Yet another angry one, but we share some personality traits. But being soft to the rest of the assassins and Tamers just isn't my thing. Though if something happened to my Tamer well...I don't know what I would do. Maybe something then again maybe nothing."

Sebastian,
"One of my favorite people! He doesn't trust anyone though, so it isn't easy to get under his skin like others. I wait for the day for when I can play with his mind a little. I'm excited just thinking about it now. The aloof ones always have the best reactions when I can control them somewhat, though he will be a work in progress. Oh well let's see where this thing goes."

Ember,
"The girl is so quiet I feel like I barely know her. I must admit though if she wasn't Haine's Tamer I would love to add her to my collection of toys. The classic quiet and calm one. Some of the best people to play with, though when she lashes out it isn't too cute anymore."

Devan,
"We share the same thirst for blood, but he's too anxious around a crowd. Makes you want to just drop him off in the middle of a metropolitan area doesn't. His anxious expression is so cute I wish I could take a picture of it! on second thought I could just have to find the right time."

Vivian,
"Isn't she just the most adorable little assassin? Her shyness is one of her best traits if you ask me, though she can be different around her friends. I want to force her and a lion in a room and see who comes out alive, though she will probably come up with one of her cute little artistic tricks to stay alive."

Emilia,
"Ahh another soft nature one. She can hold her own though and finish the job. I applaud her for her efforts. She has a side I don't see too much from lack of being around her, but I want to get in her mind and reveal the demon I know she can be."

Terelle,
"The girl just doesn't to play any of my games and it is so boring! Everything I try with her just doesn't work. She is so rude for not having fun with me. I don't see the problem with trying to trick my partner into something. As long as I don't kill her, because I need her, then everything will be fine. So let me have my fun! I must admit she doesn't butt in all of the time in my affairs. I guess that is cool with me though."

Sergio,
"What can I say about him? For starters he just doesn't know when to sit down, not that I can talk. Oh I got it! He walks waayyy too much. I think if I tore his legs off he would still try and walk somewhere. Plus his lack of control over his partner makes me want to kill someone, though I am thinking that right now."

Luka,
"Luka is the type of person who would be no fun to have sex with. You might as well as do it with a brick wall, you might actually get a better reaction out of the wall. He does keep a good eye out for his assassin though. Who am I kidding? I'm still laughing over the 'sex with a brick wall' joke. I have to tell Terelle that."

Ren,
"If him and Luka ever had sex I would love to watch. It would be very interesting to say the least. Now it would be a brick wall with a...well I don't know but it would be fun to watch. He reminds me of myself a little when he is happy then switches in an instant. Though I'm sure when I do it I look sexy. Look at my face who doesn't want me?"

Myself,
"Of course I would have a thought about myself I'm me! I'm the best out of everyone and can do no wrong. I'm always right in everything I do, so you could say I'm the perfect assassin. Did I mention how good looking I am? Of course I don't need to state that though. All you have to do is look at me and you can tell. My dream is to kill every last person I know. Maybe Terelle can stop me before that, but otherwise I will surely do my best to take everyone out one by one in the most brutal way I can. As a prize to myself I will hang their heads above my bed. Of course they will all have smiles on their cute little dead faces."

So begins...

Alex

Where was Alex? Ah yes doing the only thing Alex could be doing. Was he home? Nope. He rose up to see some random looking blonde next to him. This definitely wasn't his room. No one was aloud to be in there except for Terelle and her access was limited. He sat up feeling a bit groggy. What the hell happened? Lifting up the shits seeing the lack of clothes he had on and adding the blonde next to him, it summed the whole night up. "Jeez what was I thinking? She doesn't even look that great." He commented not caring if she was awake or not. Alex strolled out of the bed and took a shower. Making sure his clothes looked okay he gave the blonde one last glance. The feeling hit him. It was the perfect opportunity to kill right now. If there was anyone there to watch him they would see a distant look in his eyes. His tongue slid out of his mouth to lick his lips as if he was about to eat the girl.

Glancing over to the shadow he stared at it for a moment before a scythe formed and landed in his hand. "I had fun last night...but not enough." Raising his weapon he swung his scythe down and slashed the girl across her throat. Once he was done the scythe returned to the shadows and he started laughing maniacally. Alex dropped to his knees from laughing so hard not being able to control it. "One second she is living in ecstasy and then the next she is ascending to hell!" He started banging on the floor still laughing. He rolled over on his back and started kicking his feet like a child. Slowly but surely his laughing turned into shrieking. Tears rolled down his face as he continued to scream. This was the stage he hated himself most in. That is saying a lot seeing Alex is very arrogant.

He turned back onto his stomach digging his nails into the floor causing some wood to accumulate under his nails. His breathing started picking up and he could tell if he stepped into broad daylight he would kill every single soul he crossed. Alex needed Terelle right now extremely bad. He feels himself slipping away into a dark abyss in which he himself wouldn't be able to bring himself back from it. His eyes widen and he stands up. He had tear marks streaming down his face and made his way out of the room. It was time to kill. Simple as that. Making his way out of the apartment he started to drift down to the stairs feeling absolutely nothing for anyone. "Kill kill kill all I ever do is kill." It was a common phrase he would say whenever he was about to kill a ton of people.

[[EDIT]]
Terelle

The golden haired and golden eyed girl yawned and stretched. Once again the nightmares kept her awake most of the night. Waking up on the rooftop was becoming almost a habit. One she wasn't exactly happy to keep. She yawned once more and looked out at the sky. The sun was just coming up over the horizon and the world began to heat up. She figured she had spent enough time on the rooftop for the day and decided to head inside. She spotted Ember as she entered the house. The girl thought it was strange that she would be out so early in the morning, but she didn't question it. Everyone had their reasons for doing things. Who was to say Terelle couldn't sleep on the rooftop. Well common sense told her that, but she couldn't help it. Being out on the rooftop in the middle of the night, staring up at the stars, helped her sleep. Or at least to shake the after affects of the nightmares.

They always made her feel either paranoid or sick to her stomach. Sometimes, they were almost like visions. Things that would come true. She dreamed that the hunters would coming for them. She thought she was just paranoid so she didn't share it. She knew better than to do that again. If she got the same feeling as she did, she shared it with the others. Well... only one other really. Alex. Now that thought about it. She got that feeling last night... something about a blonde..

She climbed down off the roof and snuck into the room where she was staying. Alex's door was next door and she contemplated waking him up. After a moment of thought, she jumped onto her bedding and crawled under her covers. She was not about to wake up her partner. She might have her moments of insanity where she did dumb things, like taunt Sebastian, but she didn't have a death wish and her partner was in no way morning person. Well, at least he wasn't in the respect that he didn't like to be woken up by people. She knew she didn't. The wind blew through her window causing her to shiver. Being a being of heat, cold things like wind were definitely uncomfortable to her. Her blankets were too thin to completely shield her from the cold.

The sun was farther up in the sky now and she was wide awake. Her hair was a knotted mess from sleeping on the tiles of the rooftop, but she was too lazy to brush it out. It would look more like she tossed and turned in her bed instead of sleeping on the rooftops. She sighed, climbed off her bed, and headed out towards the kitchen. She wasn't hungry, but she knew some of the others were already awake and out there. Might as well greet them. Or play a few tricks on them. Either one worked for her. Though, like I said before, she doesn't have a death wish. She padded down the hall, making shuffling sounds with her feet to give the illusion of being half-asleep. It didn't take much to give that illusion though. Her eyes were red with lack of sleep, her hair was matted, there were dark circles under her eyes and her skin was pale as snow.

Something sizzled in the back of her mind. It was that same feeling she got whenever her nightmares were more like visions than fictional images. The bigger question was... where was Alex? Last night she had dreamed of a blonde girl, in her birthday suit of all things, asleep on the bed... no not asleep. Dead. Alex was at it again. Things grew dark then. Dark and tinted red. Almost like a decent into insanity. Damnit! she thought as she raced towards the door. She was still in her "sleeping clothes" which was really just a pair of sweat pants and a tank top, but she didn't care at the moment. Alex needed her right now. So bad she could feel it in the pit of her stomach. "Morning!" she called as she ran by everyone in the kitchen. Hopefully they would know what was going on. Or at least come up with an excuse for her. She didn't quite know where she was going so she followed her instincts. She found herself outside a cute little house. She used her ability to click the lock open and and raced inside, not caring who saw her enter or leave as long as they didn't see Alex when they left. She closed and locked the door behind her with her ability while she followed her instincts into the room where she sensed Alex.

He was on the floor, when she arrived, doubled over in laughter. The sound was not a happy joyful one. It was one of madness. "Alex?" she said as she kneeled down beside him. It was too late though, he was gone, unreachable with words. There were claw marks in the floor. Or at least, that's what they looked like. She knew better though. She focused her heat into the palm of her right hand and pressed it to the back of his neck. "You will be calm... or I will kick your ass."

Splinter

A small ring of smoke escaped her lips, leaving behind a fog for her vision. When it cleared, Sergio was making his way up to the door with groceries from the store he worked at, she noticed him eyeing her cigarette. She knew he smoked as well, or at least he had at the bar. Noticing the head phones as well, she didn't bother saying anything, neither did he. But the look was enough, and when he made his way inside, Sasha finished up her smoke and put it out in the wall behind her, letting the butt drop in the grass below. Yeah, it was littering, but the place was such a dump already. What would one butt matter? Fanning her hand in front of her face, she tried to get a bit of the cigarette stink off of her before moving back inside. Once in, she found the nearest bathroom and washed her hands and rinsed out her mouth. It didn't fix the smell, but it diluted it down to a dull fragrance. Which to her, was good enough. After all, there was no real way to rid herself of the smell completely.

Turning out of the bathroom, she then made for the kitchen. Groceries meant one thing, Sergio was going to be cooking soon. Sasha always felt bad simply watching Sergio cook, or even eating what he did make, it was as if she were mooching off of what he did. Her money didn't bring the food in, it went towards light and water. His went into the food, and his effort into making it. In all rights, it was his. What right was hers to take it? In this way, she always made at least an offer to help him with it, even though sometimes he preferred to just be alone when he cooked, as if it were a sort of 'me time' for him. Nevertheless, she offered. As she was about to now.

Re-passing the front door, she saw Marx sitting in one of the front rooms writing, looking more chipper than normal. Which for Marx, still wasn’t very chipper. She pushed the door open a little more, enough to peak her head in. Letting out a little cough to let him know she was there before all out talking, she gave him a chance to cover whatever he didn’t want seen before she got too close. Whatever he was writing, she was sure it wasn’t her business.
”Hey Marx? Breakfast should be ready soon. I mean, you can keep doing whatever you want, but Im just warning you there might not be anything left if you wait too long.” she let out a small laugh and shook her long, black hair with one hand. She noticed the imprint under his eyes, the ones people always get when you don’t sleep well. She felt something with it, she wasn’t sure what. Not sorry for him, probably not even quite concerned, but it was still something. After everything they had all gone through together, it was hard to be completely cold hearted to everyone as some of the people tried to be.
She caught herself starring, she had zoned out a bit looking at the imprints under his eyes. It had only been seconds, but she still felt as if she had overstepped her welcome on his private time and hastily added a
”Just letting you know, Ill save you a plate.” and quietly closed the door behind her, not giving him a chance to reply. She didn’t think he would, anyway.

Heading back towards the kitchen, she peaked in to see that this was the central hub where everyone had been hiding. Sergio was indeed trying to make breakfast, Alex was near him trying to talk to him, Ren, Emilia, Luka, Lindsey, Arden were all there as well. Busy kitchen.
”Need a hand, Sergio? I feel like with so many people to feed, it’s not fair to make you buy it all and then turn right around and cook it all.”
She laughed, flashing a smile his way denoting that she did, really, want to help.
”And just in case you were worried, I did try my best to wash the filth off my hands already.”
Another small laugh, then a turn to Arden.
“And good morning, Sunshine, how are we?”

Alex reacted in a way Terelle didn't exprect. He slappd her hand away and backed off. That was something he had never done before. He told her to go away. Go away! she thought, I'm trying to help you!" When he jumped out the window, she followed after him. "Alex!" She called after him, trying to catch up. She was disoriented from jumping out the window and greatly pissed off that he pushed her away. Her hands heated until they were scorching. "You're not escaping.." She raced off towards him but stopped short as they neared the warehouse. If any of the others found out what he had done.... well lets just say the ending will not be a very.... positive one.

She caught up to him just as he was talking about the organization and slapped him in the back of the head. "Don't you even think about it, Alex. You know that will be just as bad for you as it would be for them and there's no way you're going to be able to take on a large group of hunters by yourself." When they got inside, his cocky attitude was getting on her nerves. She through her arm around his neck, her hands still hot with rage. "Yes Alex. You are my favorite person. As such, you deserve this." She pressed her hand to his skin and quickly let go. She saw something hard and heavy out of the corner of her eye. A plan two in case he tried anything harmful. [color=orange]"By the way. Morning, guys."

Sergio had sprayed oil in the pan and was making an assortment of eggs. Most of the assassins and tamers had left the kitchen, but ones like Alex remained. He saw the boy without looking at him and felt him leaning against his shoulder. He hadn’t heard his greeting because the headphones were still in his ears, but he was certain that what he said hadn’t been important. He reached his hand up to grab his black hood and pulled it down. That same hand then slipped inside his pants pocket to grab out a pack of cigarettes. He popped open the box with his thumb and raised it to his lips as he bit down on a stick and drew it out. Closing the box, he returned it to his pocket and then removed the unlit cig from his lips. He pressed it to the hot burner until the tobacco glowed a bright orange and returned it to his lips as his third eye saw Sasha’s lips moving and then Emilia spoke in his direction after. Sergio simply answered, thinking it would sum up everything Emilia, Sasha, and Alex might have asked or said, “Do what you like.”

He dragged on the cigarette, exhaling the smoke on two gray streams from his nostrils. Normally, Sergio didn’t smoke in the warehouse, but he didn’t plan to waste anymore time after breakfast. He was going to shower and take a nap before work.

When Terelle entered the kitchen and brought banter and horseplay, it would have been all right if Alex hadn’t been leaning against his shoulder. When her jostling bumped his arm, his spatula sent a sunny-side up egg flying like a saucer across the stove to splat against the unsanitary counter. Sergio’s brows furrowed in irritation. Wasting food didn’t go down well with him, especially since he bought it. He regarded the displaced egg for a few seconds, before he reached the spatula over and scooped it up, dumping it onto a plate. Someone was going to have a bad egg, and it was a price paid for bothering him while he was at work in the kitchen.

Ember watched, her face revealing nothing as Haine gave a slight, gentlemen bow towards her. Aside from a slight raise of her eyebrows, she made no notion that she'd noticed it. Haine's eyes glowed with excitement, and Ember could practically feel his eagerness to get out.
"...Hello, Ember! You look really lovely today"
Ember, typically, ignored the compliment. She didn't particularly care what people thought of her appearance, as long as she was either considered intimidating or not to be messed with. Unknown or mysterious were acceptable observations too, pretty did not make it onto the list. Haine was practically jumping up in down in excitement and it appeared to Ember that in a way to control himself slightly he clapped his hands together, in what seemed to be a rather childlike manner. She regarded him silently, allowing her eyes to rove over his energy bound form.
"...When can we go? Can we go now? Can I kill?"
She arched one of her eyebrows slightly as he bombarded her with questions, running his hand through his hair rather arrogantly as they started to make their way out of the warehouse. As they walked out, Ember passed the notorious Alex, and couldn't help but give him a withering glare as herself and Haine exited. She couldn't stand the man. His outright arrogance, and knack of getting under her skin was enough to drive her mad. After delivering her glare, Ember swiftly looked straight forward, now purposefully ignoring the man's presence. In comparison to him, she was superior and she made sure to show the fact whenever he came within her perimeter.
Haine still was barely managing to contain his blood lust, that much she could tell as he licked his lips. He was honestly starting to get just that little bit annoying, Ember pursed her lips as she caught him stiffening a giggle. Finally, he seemed to calm down to some extent, and her black eyes met his own.
"We are simply going to the forest, and no you are not to kill." her words were clipped and cold as per usual. "You know why we can't, I can't afford to have the hunters after us"
Then again, she wouldn't mind him char grilling Alex. She continued to walk further into the forest until they were around fifteen minutes walk from the warehouse. She'd managed to gather a reasonable lot of dried wood over the last couple of weeks, in anticipation to Haine having one of his break downs.
"Go wild" she said simply, knowing he would probably be disappointed that he couldn't burn anyone. "Just don't burn the whole forest down"
She then found a nearby tree, and lazily sat down underneath one. Her rather full skirt sprawled elegantly around her, as she rested her chin on her gloved hands. Her long black hair hung in silky lengths down her back, soaking up the sun. Finding herself alone with Haine, she found her face relaxing into a rather content smile, waiting for the fireworks show. Truly, the only time she felt she could be herself was when herself and Haine were alone, no arrogant Sebastian, overly cheerful Emilia, insane Devan or smug, stupid Alex.
The sunlight filtering through the trees gave her a rather lazy, warm feeling, and for the first time in a long while, Ember found herself relaxing and allowing herself to stop analysing everything. There was something immensely satisfying about being on top of things, and knowing when to relax. She gazed over at Haine, waiting for him to relax too, and enjoy burning. No doubt she'd have to stop him from going too far, but at the moment it didn't particularly bother her. In fact, it might give some excitement to the rather strained, boring days in the warehouse. She felt empowered, sitting outside, away from the restraints of the others.
