shoulder-length, straight, brown.
brown.
Michael has a large scar on the back of his right shoulder. It's really from where his father nearly killed him with a glass bottle but he claims it was from a bicycle crash when he was eight.
Michael is any young teen in the 80s when it comes to his clothes. He loves pairing his brothers jacket, with a simple sweater and jeans. Michael is very conscious of his appearance, however, and always makes sure he looks/appears nice for others. Especially when it comes to his hair. (Don't touch the hair). In addition to his hair his most prized possession are his Ray Bans, that he got for his fourteenth birthday.

LIKES; Michael is a true sports fanatic and loves his fair share of football, basketball, and baseball. He loves his giant golden retriever, Maisy, whom he always says is the love of his life. He will never turn down chocolate milkshakes and a burger at the diner. He's a huge music man and his favorites in Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, and ACDC. Mikey is also a huge party guy and loves a good glass of fancy ass alcohol.

DISLIKES; There's nothing more Michael hates than bullies. With his experiences of being bullied as a kid he will always stand up to defend someone in need. Michael is also not a huge fan of rules, and combined with his rather daring personality this causes him to get into trouble ALOT. He also has asthma, but tries to deny it heavily. Unbeknownst to most, Michael had a deep-seated hatred for his father.

The teddy bear, 'boy-next-door', frankly Mikey has heard them all. He'll stop everything he is doing to go hop over a fence and retrieve a baseball for a couple of sad kids, at any time of the day. Kind-hearted by nature, Mikey has always done things to make others smile and feel happy. It's infectious, and always comes off as rather charming. At the end of the day however, to him, it's just what's right.
Mikey has been known by his friends to go from entirely optimistic to completely defeated. It's not in any way bipolar, more of just his susceptibility to failure. When something doesn't go the way he wanted it to, it doesn't take long for him to mope his way through the rest of the day like a sad puppy. While he's not one to give up on a situation when it goes south, he is prone to going through moody phases of doubt and weariness, which to others can be quite exhausting to watch.
A hot-head is one word to describe Mikey when he's angry. It doesn't take much for Mikey to become angry at situation or person. His emotions tend to bubble and fester, and he can be one to utter words that are quite stinging to others but he always feels an immense amount of guilt afterward. His quick-tempered nature can be quite a problem for himself and it often leads him into a lot of trouble.
On any normal day, Mikey falls into a optimistic stigma of the goofy, awkward boy who is frankly all 'smiles and giggles'. He loves a little comic relief, and when anyone is feeling quite blue is always there for a pick me up and a boyish grin that one cannot simply resist.
Attached to his 'daddy' issues comes a form of possessive nature that on a normal standpoint makes him simply clingy. With friends this can be, constant contact or always needing to be surrounded by someone to talk to. Mikey hates being lonely, and is highly uncomfortable in situations where he is alone, unwillingly. This makes romantic relationships quite difficult for him, he's tried and failed. It takes a certain amount of patience to understand his true need for companionship.

MOTHER; A nurturing a kind woman, Mikey loves his mother dearly. She always tries her very best to make sure her kids are doing well and being loved.
FATHER; A miserable and abusive alcoholic, Mikey has never seen the good side of his father. He often lies to his peers about where the various cuts and bruises come from. It's humiliating for him, and he resents his father to the core.

A couple months after they had gotten married the couple had their first child, Benjamin, which is when the first of the abuse started. Jeff had always had a bit of an alcohol problem since he was in college but as he got older it became progressively worse. Paige, scared of not being able to support Ben stayed in the marriage and hid the abuse the best she could. After Ben, came Michael and then their younger sister Hannah. Growing up, Ben was always the bravest of the bunch, he always stuck up for the family when their father got drunk and took most of the beatings. During this time, Michael was an eighth grader and finally began acclimating to his group of friends.
When Ben turned eighteen he left without really telling anyone other than a note saying he had gone to join the military. Their mother cried for days. For Michael however, this meant he became the next punching bag of the family. His worst experience was when he was fourteen and a freshman at the high school. The second his father had gotten home that night he punched his wife flat in the face for not having dinner ready in time. Michael in response, punched his father clear in the back of the head. What happened next is almost a blur of black for Michael, just a mixture of his mother and sister's screams as his died nearly beat him to death. He had to skip school that entire week, and lied to his friend that he had a fit of pneumonia.
By the time Michael was a sophomore, he had gotten used to his dad's beatings. After all, to him it was better him than his mother or sister. His goofy demeanor really struggled his sophomore year but he learned to hide the pain well. Not to mention the multitude of excuses he had to come up with for his bruises and cuts. He also started to realize that something wasn't right with his relationships with girls, he often found himself awkwardly wanting to check out the guys as well. It was new and unfamiliar for him, so he chose to hide it. He felt for sure if his father even had the tiniest hint that he was gay he would kill him for sure.
With the death of one of his best friends, Michael can't help but feel entirely broken inside. Manny had been there for him when he was at his worst, and he never had the chance to do the same. If anything, Michael is vengeful he wants to find whoever killed his best friend and if he was being honest with himself, he wasn't sure he could hold back his anger and not do the same to them.
