Personality: Merida is what you would call a tomboy, but not to a large extent. For example she would wear a dress if it was warm outside and a gown to a ball, although she wouldn't wear a pink mini-dress casually or actually ever. She is a free spirit that hates being bossed around, a rebel to some. She is a very talented girl, mostly excelling in archery but she could impale someone with a sword.
She is a courageous soul. A very, brave girl. She could probably stand up to a bear if she wanted! around children, she is sweeter than usual. She enjoys playing with kids. She is not the kind of girl who wants to settle down. She also is not waiting for true love, and she basically thinks of love as an afterthought. She loves to read stories about adventures in faraway lands but tends not to focus on them too much and live her own.
She can be a bit stubborn at times, to be honest, but she is loyal to those she cares about.
Biography:
Life Before the island:
Merida, a Scottish princess whose interests include archery and horse riding, is told by her mother that her interests are not what a princess should be doing and that she has to marry. But Merida chooses to defy her mother. And when she and her mother have an argument Merida rides off and meets a witch. She asks for a spell to change her mother. And the witch gives her a cake which she gives to her mother but the change is not what she was hoping for, her mother turns into a bear. So she tries to find a way to fix it. But can she?
On the Island:
Merida is quite content with the island, although a little suspicious about technology and how to use it, she is happy. Mostly everyone seems nice, and welcoming.
'Something very hard hit me on the head.
"Ouch." I squeak and open my eyes. It was a stone. I rub my head.
Where am I? I think.
No, seriously...where am I?
I see other faces around me, they look familiar... but in a distant way. Like I've seen them before, but only once. Strange
A wave comes at me and skims my fingertips. It feels so cooling in this heat. I'ts really warm, too warm.
