I can remember riding through a strangely colorful and lively countryside in a car that may or may not have had a face. There was a girl beside me, and she must have been someone important, because her nearness made me strangely happy. She wore polka dots, and for some reason I wasn't wearing a shirt. We must have been going for a picnic, because a large, old-fashioned picnic basket was sitting in her lap, brimming almost comically with food. A yellow dog was in the back, and I assume he belonged to me. The weather was perfect, the grass greener than possible, and everything in the word seemed to smile, even inanimate objects. It makes me want to go back to that memory- it seems so cheerful, you know? So. . .unreal.

- Ailurophobia --Ailurophobia is defined as the fear of cats- something which Mikey has had for as long as he can remember (which isn't very long, considering the fact that he doesn't remember anything about his past at all). In his old form, he mocked cats enough to not entirely fear them, or at least suppressed the fear with his personal wit. All the same, Mikey himself does have a fear of cats, and will avoid them if possible. It isn't so bad that he would freeze up or something, by the young man's hands will become clammy and his faces pales greatly as he tries to get as far away from them as possible. It doesn't help that the young man has severe allergies to cats, and his throat will swell up under the circumstances where he is exposed to them, with the exception of completely hairless felines.
- Acrophobia --A fear of heights is irrational- it is the fear of falling and dying as you smack against the pavement that is a completely rational and natural phobia. However, it is the former which Mikey possesses, as being in an area which is too high up is likely to make him nearly pass out or, on some occasions, vomit. Simply being so high up makes him feel sick to his stomach, the place seeming strange and uncomfortable for him. He has never been a very tall person, and so some would joke that his fear of heights is because he isn't used to being above anyone. Point of the matter is that he simply doesn't like heights a single bit.

Mikey has always been the sort of person who prefers to go out and play rather than work, more of a child than an adult in that aspect. He has an overactive imagination and a generous dose of bravery, allowing him to stubbornly charge into adventures that may not be incredibly intelligent to embark on. Still, despite the flaw of having trouble with keeping up with work and thinking his actions through, the young man is somewhat reliable. If he promises to do something, though distractions may delay the finishing of it, it will happen eventually, and generally to the best of his abilities. After all, Mikey doesn't do anything halfway at all, the sort who takes pride in the work that he does get around to, and has a level of arrogance which leads him to try and impress others. This is especially true when it comes to the apples of his eyes, for the young man is the sort to only like one girl, and to go out of his way to impress her and make her happy. He's just a little bit of a hopeless romantic at heart, you see, and likes the make the one that he cares for smile- to him, that is the best sort of reward. This comes from a sort of innocence in the young man, who is just a tad bit naive in the ways of the world, and very quick to trust others. He is a firm believer in second, third, fourth and fifth chances, because the boy knows that everyone, no matter how they may seem at first, has a dash of good within them. It is simply a fact of life that he lives by.
Although he is a very caring sort of optimist, Mikey can also be somewhat forgetful, leaving him to lose track of important dates or details that he would have been better off remembering. Through good luck and the help of others, the young man usually does manage to make up for what he forgets, or remember just in time to right any wrongs that his wandering mind may have caused. Despite this, he does also have the tendency to put others before himself, partially due to the fact that the unhappiness of others makes him feel uncomfortable and inexplicably guilty. Thus, the empathetic young man will often make a fool of himself in order to get others to smile, goofing around or making funny faces for others. He isn't afraid to put himself out there, not usually the type who will constantly fear consequences. That being said, Mikey can be somewhat bashful around people whom he deems superior to himself, and can turn a rather adorable shade of crimson when this is the case. Every emotion he has is adorable clear on his open-book face, and so one never needs to be unsure of what he is thinking, unless they are oblivious to the point of stupidity. Even then, he is usually fairly straightforward about his opinions and emotions towards others. Mikey is not a man of secrets.

[Erm. As an original Disney character, a 'before is somewhat difficult.]
Before --As the beloved and heroic Mickey Mouse, the young man had a good number of friends, was completely smitten with one Minnie Mouse, and had adventures that went on for much longer than most others can claim. Perhaps given some sort of immortality, or having the ability to constantly reincarnate, Mickey lived the life of a normal mouse, a brave leader of the 3 Muskateers, a wizard's apprentice, and the owner of a Dinner Theater. His life was so inconsistant that one could not easily summarize it without requiring some extensive research, but one thing that was always there would be his beloved friends, who existed everywhere that he did, with little to no exceptions. The adventure he lived just before the change, however, was one of those in which he was a fairly normal mouse, beloved by friends despite an occasionally forgetful and stubborn nature. He was an everyman of sorts, cheerful but imperfect, loyal but forgetful, etc. He was going on a picnic with friends, though only Minnie and Pluto rode in the same car as he did, and looked forward to it quite a bit. The picnic was set up in a typical cartoon-y fashion, and everyone was all smiles and cheer, though Donald had started off somewhat upset because they forgot to pack his favorite food. That is, until Pete had to come along and ruin everything- he kidnapped lovely Minnie, as usual, and ran off with the female mouse, for whatever reason he usually has. Naturally, Mickey had to go and save his beloved from the wicked cat, and so chased after the pair, aided by his faithful pooch, Pluto. He had to get through a rather strange set of obstacles, including a destroyed bridge and a cake with a bomb in it, before almost reaching his beloved to save her. Naturally, as it is in the nature of the stars to cross, it was that moment at which the poor mouse was whisked away to some strange place, and given a human body.
After --Mikey washed onto the shore, throroughly confused and finding himself sorely in need of a good pair of glasses, but luckily found himself to not be the only person in this state of being (Well, minus the glasses part). It came to light that no one actually remembered their past, with the exception of their names. People seemed to remember some skills, and things like that, but not much else could really be found in the minds of most. Personally, Mikey could vaguely remember something, some sort of picnic and girl, but they seemed far too dream-like for him to consider that the dream may actually be any sort of real thing, though he completely wishes it had been. Honestly, Mikey is quite happy on the island, where everyone seems friendly enough, and doesn't see a great urgency in finding his way home. Or he wouldn't, were it not for his wondering about whether there are people looking for him, worrying about him. Were this the case, he could not live with simply lounging about in contentment, while others were unhappy and searching for him. Thus, though he enjoys his life here, Mikey would rather like to find out the truth of everything, in case there is a life he is missing, people he is without, etc.
