We all know the story of Alice and falling down the rabbit hole into wonderland. Just as we know all the Disney stories by heart. A princess or down on her luck woman falls for a prince and must defeat evil to live happily ever after. It is such a sweet simple story that we all fall head over heels for and get addicted to the characters and plot. Disney lets us remember what being a kid is all about, having an adventure and doing what feels natural regardless of what others say. Giving us the back bone to stand for the right and fight for what's believing.
This story follows those characters that has given us hope in an alternate universe, made up completely by a very special fourteen year old girl, Alice Liddell.
She does not control the characters, only the world around, or at least she was suppose to. Alice has the ability to change the story, she just forgot that the world is made up all in her head. The characters around her, are real in their own way, they have emotions, passions, desires, and goals, the thing is not all of them follow the same guidelines that they are use to, nor are the aware there is a story of them.
All characters are living their lives as if this world was the real one.

There are minor changes in this world, one they are no longer cartoons but they do dream in cartoon form. They are not in the real world even though they have become live action, they are still stuck in the rural era. All the characters are separated across the land, but are teamed up with certain characters. Villains do not have to be stuck as such nor do heroes. Personalities can be changed, but their main driving force has to be kept the same.
Not exactly as the same goal but if they wanted to see something new, their whole motivation would be tied to travel, if they wanted to marry a prince they would be drawn to all men.
The characters grew up in this world. So if you can have childhood enemies or friends, the Charming's are all brothers, so they can be together at the beginning or traveling for their own, but they do know each other and are as close as brothers either being rivals or besties.
Some characters can know all characters, but no character can know none. You must have a character buddy, even if they hate each other, no one starts in a place alone. Characters do not have to talk with characters in their own story, this is a crossover might as well enjoy it. Again, you do not have to follow the same personality as the original character.

Start off with a small adventure that turns itself into a much larger world. Let the have the fun and excitement just like you did writing the character up. Be fun and creative don't let their once creation control the outcome of the character. Let them be more serious or more silly. Let the cute villain be a normal cabbage seller that has an odd passion for power, for the oddest reason. Unknowing to them what it really is. Give them a full backstory full of laughs or tears. Bring them to life, and give them a reason for everything, not just because they felt like it.
Now characters cannot befriend villians from their original story. There will always be a driving force that keeps them from getting close. Villains will always try to make the life for the hero awful, even if the villain is trying to be a hero in this world. This can cause conflict with other characters knowing that some will never get along even when they try.

"Find the Castle, it will set you free."
Alice has one major driving force and that is to get the top of the castle to figure out what is going on and to get out of the world. If she makes it to the castle everyone will stop being them and become nothingness. Of course no one knows that except Cheshire, who can choose to manipulate everyone into keeping Alice from getting to the castle or helping her. Alice has no memory of the real world or that fact she has the power to change the world, she cannot control others or outcomes.
Alice will be wondering around without knowing anyone and befriending and making rivals on her quest to the castle. While the rest of the characters are on a quest for their driving focus, and befriending their own or causing their own hardships.

Alice Liddell blue eyes opened widely slowly, adjusting to the light, it took a moment for her fully adjust. Once her mind became fully conscious she stood up and realized she was in a middle of an empty wheat field, and all she wonder was how she got there. There were parts of her memory missing, and well she looked around she noticed that nothing looked as she felt it should. The air was thick and musty as if it was locked away for decades and finally let out. Well staring blankly around the open field she got a sense of urgency, as she was on a quest for something that she never remembered agreeing to.
