This outfit is the most well known outfit for Lightning. It consists of Lightning having pink hair tossed over her left shoulder, a white vest with light brown pockets on it with her sheath for her Blazefire Saber, known as Blaze Edge, hanging from the back from her waist and with a red sort of half-cape attached to the back on the left side and fastened just under her busom with a dark brown belt and a light brown miniskirt with a belt accompanied by a pouch that wraps around her waist crooked and wraps around her left leg, along with dark brown and tan boots that go to her knees and blue gloves with an added arm sleeve under the left arm glove.
Alternate Outfits:

Midnight Cloak -- This outfit is basically her original outfit, but with different colors and an overall more monochrome appearance. Her hair is platinum blonde rather then pink, her shoulder pad is black instead of brown, her undershirt is black rather then brown, her skirt is black rather then brown, her gloves are black rather then blue, her cape is black rather then red, the pouch strapped to her hip and leg is a dark brown rather then light brown, and her boots are black rather then dark brown and tan.
Guardian Corps Uniform -- An alternate outfit depicting Lightning's days in the Guardian Corps, which could technically be considered her very first outfit before she changed outfits. It consists of a black cap with the Guardian Corps symbol on the front on top of her trademark pink hair, as well as a tan shirt with dark grey sleeves long enough to consider a short dress and blue shoulder pads with a black belt around the waist and a tan turtleneck underneath, along with dark stockings and a pair of black boots that stop two-thirds of the way up her calves.
Aya Brea -- An alternate outfit modeled after the outfit Aya Brea wore in The 3rd Birthday, which could also be considered Lightning's casual outfit. It consists of a black U-neck vest and blue jeans that are shredded on the tops of the thighs kept on by a black belt and black boots that go to her knees.

She began using her code name of "Lightning" after losing her parents to escape the vulnerabilities and insecurities of her former self and in order to become a different personâstrong enough to care for her younger sister Serah.
